Buck dives into the history of Columbus Day, exploring why it's been a longstanding American tradition and what it represents. He tackles how the left has tried to rewrite history by pushing revisionist narratives that distort Columbus' legacy and undermine America's cultural heritage. Buck explains why preserving this holiday is important for understanding our nation's past and resisting the woke agenda.

Speaker 2 (00:20):
Hey guys, welcome to the Buck Brief from NYC. It's
great to be here in studio, in our home based studio.
I've got to jump right into the Columbus Day. Columbus
was amazing and his discovery was incredible, and all this
stuff about Indigenous People's Day is absurd and actually makes

(00:43):
me feel kind of sorry for those who don't know history,
because if we're going to start to talk about achievements
and accomplishments, we're also going to have to look at
the lack thereof in terms of civilizational advances on the
Indigenous side of things, as in one side one the
other side lost. Crying a river about it now doesn't

(01:04):
do anybody any good. It's all just nonsense wokeness. And
hear my friends to remind you of what the left
really thinks about Columbus Day. On Columbus Day is Kamala
Harris in twenty twenty one complaining about it.

Speaker 3 (01:19):
Since nineteen thirty four, every October, the United States has
recognized the voyage of the European explorers who first landed
on the shores of the Americas. But that is not
the whole story. That has never been the whole story.

(01:40):
Those explorers ushered in a wave of devastation for tribal nations,
perpetrating violence, stealing land, and spreading disease. We must not
shy away from this shameful past, and we must shed
light on it and do everything we can to address

(02:02):
the impact of the past on Native communities today.

Speaker 2 (02:08):
See Kama is happy to go full communist when it
is in her political interest. And here you have the
anti colonial left wing historical revisionism on display for all
to see. Let's take a step back for a moment.
Here she says that they ushered in all this destruction
and death and all these bad things. Well, there were

(02:29):
different periods of the European settlement of the Americas, and
there was also a lot of violence that went from
the Indian tribes against the people who were here, and
often with tremendous brutality and a wanton cruelty that then
created particularly bad blood between the Europeans and the native

(02:52):
tribes and then just resulted in a battle of civilizations.
This was a clash of civilizations and they lost, and
it was a long time ago, and a lot of
civilizations have lost to others over time, and we don't
sit around crying about that. The history of humanity until

(03:13):
very recently is essentially just one of a long series
of conflicts, including the natives, by the way, who were
constantly fighting warfare against each other. And this is important too.
The concept, the native concept of warfare was not and
you won't read about this in books, but it's oh rather,
you won't read about this in newspapers these days or

(03:34):
when they talk about this. But if you go back
to the actual history, they didn't have people squaring off
against other able bodied men in a contest of arms
to see who would win. They would launch ambush raids,
generally on undefended settlements. They would try to wait until
one you know, they would send a war party in

(03:56):
and they would try to wait until most of the
men were either out on a hunter, and then they
would just kill an enslave everybody, children, everything. That was
the native way of warfare. There was none of this
like oh to you know, Geneva conventions or or you know,
warfare as some kind of there's some basic moral framework

(04:20):
behind this or whatever. No, it was exterminate the other guys,
take all their stuff and take all their other hunting lens.
That was the reality. And the Aztecs were just the
most obvious example of this with their when you when
you read the numbers by I mean they would have
days of human sacrifice. They would they would sacrifice thousands
and thousands of people, they would cut their hearts out.
I mean, the barbarity of these of these Indian tribes.

(04:44):
And this is all left out of it. It's like, oh, well,
like we came here and they were just you know,
singing in the mountains and it was like the Disney
Pocahontas movie. It absolutely was not. And a lot of
the enmity, a lot of the the rage that the
European settlers had against various Indian tribes came from the
predatory practices of these murder raids of these Indian tribes

(05:04):
against the settlers. I mean, think about that, right, Europeans
were used to in a content. You know, I'll give
you a perfect if you've seen the movie, if you've
seen the movie Last the Mohicans, there is a scene
in that with their leaving I believe it's fort Edward
and there's an ambush after a treaty has been or
I shouldn't say treaty, but after a surrender has been

(05:28):
negotiated and agreed to by the French and British general.
This was historically true. But the braves, the Indian braves
who showed up, were like, we're here to kill people, like,
we don't care that you signed some and they set
upon them and they killed and mastered hundreds of people
and took scalps and did all that stuff, you know,
cut hearts out of people. Oh yeah, there was cannibalism,
by the way. That was a real thing too. They
love to take captives and burn them alive. That was

(05:50):
another very common practice. It was savage. I mean, there
was true savagery on display. You won't hear about this though,
it's all oh, you know. And then the white men
stole our land and broke the treaty. Well, a lot
of that stuff, especially when you get into the American
West and what's west of the Mississippi, A lot had
gone on before then, and there were wars being and
the Indian tribes also, I might add, we're very happy

(06:13):
to ally with the Europeans against other Indian tribes and
kill as many of them as possible and take their stuff.
So there's such a broader context of this all you
just came here install our land and you know this
is all nonsense, and these these land acknowledgment things are
just pathetic. I mean, this is this is in the
same vein as like wearing three masks when you get

(06:34):
on a plane, or you know, the same kind of
virtue signaling of you know, Nancy Pelosi bending the knee
and covering herself in kentake cloth, you know, And that's
a whole other thing about it. We talked about the
European European history of chattel slavery. What they don't talk
about as much is that all of the slaves were
actually sold into slavery by other Africans, and other African

(06:58):
tribes actually in Africa were practicing slavery themselves. This came
up in the movie The Woman King, where the tribe
that they featured was very rapaci against neighboring African tribes
and sold a lot of them into slavery. So there's this,
But the history we get is so narrow and it's
really just anti anti Western, anti colonial, anti white, anti European,

(07:23):
all this stuff from the left, and I think people
get very sick of it. In time. What Columbus did
was amazing. It changed the world. And a lot of
these people who were like, oh, but what about the
indigenous peoples? You know, Okay, yes, bad things were done.
I admit that people broke treaties. You know, there were
most of the people who died actually in the native tribes.
It was from smallpox and other communical diseases. It wasn't

(07:45):
actually eradication by force of arms. That was maybe five
to ten percent of the casualties over the whole period
of the European expansion of this country. It was mostly
people just you know, smallpox just wiped out whole populations.
Why does the smallpox still wipe out whole populations. Oh yeah,
that's right. Antibiotics and vaccines and things that were developed
by the American and before that, you know, European settlers

(08:07):
who got here. So yeah, we're good like that. I'm
just saying I'd like to give people full context here.
Also wants you to be the best shot you can
be very important, and Mantis X comes through every time.
The mantis x system. Let me tell you about this
is a training system. Ninety four percent of shooters improve
within twenty minutes of using mantis X at home training.

(08:27):
Like I said, dry fire practice. You can do this
anywhere in your house. Obviously, find a safe place to
point your weapon. You're not using AMO with this, but
you still always you always treat all guns like they're loaded,
especially when you're handling them. But you find a safe
place to do this, and you practice your shooting technique
with dry fire practice. Mantis x makes it so easy
to set this up. You attach it to your weapon,

(08:47):
just like a gun light. I've done this at home.
It is easy. Mantis x's military technology and an affordable price.
Be irresponsible, an efficient gun owner, and get your skills
up to par. Go to mantisx dot com. That's m
A and tisx dot com. Okay, So the border is

(09:08):
a huge problem for the Democrats. They didn't even try
when I was on Bill Maher on Friday, they didn't
even try to defend that issue. I mean, the numbers
speak largely for themselves. You know, roughly ten million. No,
you're lying, it's eight point nine million, you know whatever.
I mean, it's close to ten million illegals have come
into the country in just the last four years, just
the last four years, about ten million, and it's it's

(09:31):
a total abdication of responsibility. And then you have this
DHS guy Mayorkas, who's trying to tell everybody that they
would never intentionally allow people this is cut six, never
intentionally allow people to cross the border.

Speaker 4 (09:44):
Player the notion, the notion that we in law enforcement
have sought to intentionally allow individuals to cross the border
illegally for the purpose of voting is preposterous and everyone
should condemn that rhetoric.

Speaker 2 (10:03):
No, not going to condemn it. First of all, they
definitely chose to let people cross the border illegally. They've
chosen to make that a It's kind of like saying,
when we get rid of the law that will arrest
you if you steal in California, we're not telling people
to steal what you are though, because you're removing any
impediment and any punishment, so they're going to steal. And

(10:24):
same thing with crossing the border. They decided to get
rid of enforcements, so there'll be a whole lot more
people coming into this country illegally, right, That's what we see.
That's what's been going on. And then on the issue
of voting, they absolutely want them to vote. Maybe they
don't openly say they want them to vote illegally this

(10:44):
time around, but they do want them to be voting.
They want to make them all citizens. They've been open
about this. And yeah, this is like a naval Ravakan
tweet to this out. He said, importing voters as a
loopholand democracy. And that's exactly what the Democrat plan is
here and has been all along. The Democrats are the
party of regulation and in large state Marxism, and particularly

(11:08):
a racial Marxism. And what they want to do is
bring in as many poor people from countries all over
the world with as disparate a culture and you know,
no linguistic tie. I mean, just make it as make
America as much like the third World as you can,
as fast as you can. That is a Democrat plan
because they figure those people will need state resources, which

(11:29):
they do, and they will vote Democrat because that will
be a greater redistribution of wealth. And this is how
they think they create a one party state. It's very clear.
This isn't stuff that's like hard to figure out when
you really look at it. When you take a moment,
you can see what's going on here. And I just
think that any American who cares about the future of

(11:50):
the country, and any American who believes that there needs
to be accountability for what has gone on the last
four years, I mean, you've just you know, yes, I
think Trump will do a good job, and I want
you to vote for Trump, but you can't allow this
Biden Harris regime to continue. I mean, this is this
is a disaster, absolute disaster, and I hope that everyone

(12:13):
can see it. For not everyone, I know, but I
hope that enough people can see it for what it
is to be better if everybody could see it. But
you know, you just don't know. A lot of crazies
out there saw Tunnel the Towers Foundation for a second.
Thanks to the generosity of friends like you, the Tunnel
the Towers Foundation welcomed US Army specialist Brett Menard into
a new, mortgage free smart home in Florida. Brett en
listened in the US Army after nine to eleven. While

(12:35):
on a road clearance mission in Afghanistan, his vehicles hit
by an ied and it changed his life forever. Brett
became a T four paraplegic with traumatic brain injury, and
despite the overwhelming challenges that he had, Brett's spirit remained
unbroken because of the support of friends like you. The
Tunnel to Towers Foundation built him a specially adapted smart
home that allows catastrophically injured heroes like Brett to live

(12:58):
more independently. America's heroes need your help now more than ever.
Donate eleven dollars a month at T two t dot org.
That's t the number two t dot org. The Twers
Foundation does incredible work, you know. So I did Bill
mar Friday and some of you've seen it. If you haven't, well,
if you don't have HBO, I guess you can't really

(13:19):
watch it. But if you have YouTube or Internet, which
I assume you do, and you might be watching this
on YouTube, please subscribe to the Buck Brief on YouTube.
If you go, you can see the overtime segment, which
was Buck versus three people. So that was really interesting,
you know, shouting over me and they're like, why are
you interrupting us? I'm like, oh, you're interrupting me. What
are you talking about? This is crazy? Well, planner to

(13:41):
you people on you're interrupting me. I'm not allowed to
speak anyway. The Bill Marshall that we talked for the
dumb em Hoff situation, I say dumb whoops, Doug, I
could say dumb Doug em Hoff situation. And it's just
so funny to watch Democrats twist themselves into a pretzel.
Here's what's going on with second gentleman, Doug m Hoff.
And the guy's a jerk who hits women. According to

(14:04):
the Daily Mail and other news outlets who have reported
on this allegation, and this is the kind of allegation that,
first of all, it'd be very easy for journalists to
track down whether it's true or not if they really
wanted to. They don't. And also, generally, when a woman

(14:24):
comes forward with a complaint like this, it is the
it is the practice of the media to say, well,
she's a woman, we must believe her. If it's a
Republican who's accused, if it's a Republican, if it's Brett Kabanet,
if it's somebody that they want to take out, if
it's a Democrat in the heat of an election cycle,
you know, I don't know. And it needs more study,

(14:45):
needs more evidence, and This is exactly what they are
doing here. That is the whole, the whole game. They
delay it. They delay it as long as they can
so that there won't be any accountability whatsoever for m Hoff.
I mean, you look at this guy. I mean, I
don't know, it looks like it looks like he's kind
of a beta male who might take a take a
swat at a woman sometime. I'm just telling you. Uh.

(15:07):
And there's other stories too about first of all, the
guy impregnated the nanny. I mean, so there's clearly this
guy's got an honor deficit. Okay, there's no question. People say, oh,
but what about other politicians you have affairs? Hold on
a second, Okay, the nanny is a household employeeee. It's
not like, you know, he and I'm not excusing any
adultery or affairs, but this isn't like he met some

(15:29):
woman you know who's up here in the law firm
or something or another law firm and he had an
affair or whatever. That's bad enough. This is an employee
in the house where he lives with his wife, and
he impregnated the nanny. And people are like, oh, but
the one about Schwartz and THEEGA didn't schwatz and they go, yeah,
and he was never really the same After this, everybody's like,
whoa dude, what did you do the dominator? Yeah, you

(15:54):
have to know you cannot them pregnate the Nanni. Doged
them pregnate the Nanni. And you know, you sit here
like this is pretty straightforward stuff. You know, there's different
levels of how gross something like this is. And this
is really bad. Dougie, doug eee dug Amhoff did this
for sure, that is confirmed. So then when you add

(16:16):
to that that there are people who said that he
was a creepster who would professionally punish attractive young women
at his law firm, like paralegals and stuff who didn't
flirt with him or didn't play his little games. And
then you add to that a specific place, time location
where he was said to have just, you know, whacked
a woman across the face. Do I believe the allegation, Yeah,
of course, of course I'd leave the allegation. But do

(16:39):
they want to talk about it?

Speaker 4 (16:40):
No?

Speaker 2 (16:41):
They do not. Here is Doug Emhoff. I would just
note lying about Trump to take a swat at him. Play.
What do you think about the anti Semitism.

Speaker 1 (16:52):
That that is we've seen not only over the past year,
but I have seen rising.

Speaker 2 (16:59):
Over the past several years.

Speaker 1 (17:01):
Myself, we have been leading on pushing back on anti
senatonm But to go back to Charlottesville in the Chump era,
remember Charlottesville, some the regressive and that's when Donald Trump said, hey,
there's fine people on both sides. A Tree of Life murder,
massacre in Pittsburgh.

Speaker 2 (17:19):
That was during the Trump era.

Speaker 1 (17:21):
So there was already a rise in anti Semitism when
Biden Harris took office.

Speaker 2 (17:25):
I mean, this is so pathetic. He's just such a liar.
The fine hoax, I mean, the fine people as a hoax.
Transcript you can read it. Trump said, I condemn the
people with the tiki torches. Trump's daughter is Jewish, his
son and was Jewish, his grandchildren, some of them are Jewish.
And we're really gonna run with this Trump. Do you notice,
though Trump is such an anti Semite. Meanwhile, more and

(17:47):
more Jews are voting for Trump as a Republican than
we've seen in a long time. And there's a large
portion of the Jewish community that has always supported Trump.
You know, maybe it's forty percent or something. But that's
that's that's a lot, you know in the aggregate number.
And so I mean, if he was a true anti
Semite with forty percent of Jews really vote for him
anti Semite, he' somebody who hates the Jewish people, and

(18:07):
forty percent of Jews are going to vote Andi this
time around, it might be for fifty and maybe a majority.
It'll be the same thing when they say, oh, Trump
is such a racist, you go, really, because the black
community seems to be more supportive of Trump than other
Republicans stretching back for a long time, and so he's
a true racist. But there's maybe going to be fifteen
percent of the Black vote going for Trump this timerund

(18:28):
that's what some of the polls are showing. That's millions
of people, right, well, it's it millions and don't have
to do the math, but it's a lot of people.
It's a lot of people. Yeah, no, it would be
in the millions. Point here is they lie about Trump,
they hate Trump, and no surprises there whatsoever. And Doug
m Hoff, of course not being pushed on whether he
you know, whether he is you know, a woman beater,

(18:51):
woman abuser, that's it. He's the new masculinity for Democrats. Yeah,
no surprise, I just spoke to you about anti Semitism.
You got to stand with Israel these days. October seventh
