30 years ago on October 11th, Professor Anita Hill testified to Congress about sexual harassment she’d suffered when working with then Supreme Court nominee, Clarence Thomas. Thomas denied Hill’s allegations. In 2018, Dr. Christine Blasey Ford testified before a committee comprised of many of the very same men about an attempted sexual assault she survived as a teen by Supreme Court nominee, Brett Kavanaugh. Allegations he denies. On this historic day, we present an excerpted conversation between Anita Hill and Christine Blasey Ford. This is the first joint interview they’ve ever given — Professor Hill and Dr. Blasey Ford talk about their relationship, why they came forward with their allegations, and how publicly speaking up has impacted them and their lives.
