Nice to see you, my brother. Thanks for checking in
with me again.

Speaker 1 (01:30):
Man as always, guys, I'm going to retire to Vosa
this weekend.

Speaker 2 (01:34):
He takes on Jarzenio ROSI strike. What's up? I got? Look,
I'm in Australia. Did I tell you? Australia loves me? Bro?

Speaker 1 (01:40):
They love me out here the moment I walk, they
walk around DC. Pitch you're here, pitch you here. They
love the boy out here.

Speaker 2 (01:47):
They was like, Yo, we'd love to see you play rugby.
You'd be like to start our team your game. You
good man, I'd be so good in rugby.

Speaker 3 (01:54):
You are a good tackle.

Speaker 2 (01:57):
I put you on my all. They said, what fighters
would make good rugby players?

Speaker 1 (02:00):
I put you on my team, I hope so because
you're big and you can move fast. So you're taking
on Georgia and yod Rods to strike this weekend. My brother,
it has not been good lately, Like it hasn't been great.
So what do you make of the state of everything
right now? Right you went on that hot run, you
won five in a row, and it's turned on us

(02:21):
like so what do you what do you make of
the state of the career where we are right now?

Speaker 3 (02:25):
So come back now.

Speaker 4 (02:26):
Yeah, I feel like I've just been dealing with some
ship outside of the cage. You know what I'm saying.
It's kind of been taken out of the focus for fighting.
But I'm backing being back in Dubai training high and
being with Khanasaki working on a little kickboxing.

Speaker 3 (02:42):
Yeah, through a bit of ground here.

Speaker 1 (02:43):
And then yeah, you told me back in the day
he said, I'm learning this ship on the job. Like
I'm just I'm learning. I remember we're we're in California
and he said, I'm just kind of learning this, she said,
And this was before you went on that five fight
win streak. Right, you had lost three I think, and
you had one three So right, even you're like, I
got to learn how to do this. Where do you

(03:04):
think you are in that in that journey of learning
to be a complete mixed martial artist.

Speaker 4 (03:09):
Say, I feel like I'm still learning every day, Like
it's such a crazy sport.

Speaker 3 (03:15):
Fighting I'm good at, yeah, but.

Speaker 4 (03:17):
The martial arts out of it, you know, there's still
a lot to man and I'm still getting better.

Speaker 1 (03:22):
So when you say, like, and I don't want to
get into your personal stuff outside of the cage, but
when it's when you're having when you're dealing with those
types of things outside of the octagon, it's hard to
stay locked into what's important right now. But ultimately, when
the success isn't matching the effort, then it it's it's twofold.
Have you done anything like mentally to try to get

(03:44):
out of that, because as men, we don't like to
ask for help for stuff, especially when it's just start
to flip up on us. What have you done to
try to separate professional and personal?

Speaker 4 (03:55):
I think just moving back here, moving a white when
I'm my wife from friends and family are kind of
switch on them, you know. And I've been off the drink,
I've been off just just training. So you've just been
focused in, you know, and I think it's my time now.
It's the best I felt for a couple of years.

Speaker 1 (04:13):
You know, when you're when you're winning all those fights
and you're knocking people out the way you're doing, and
all the spotlight uh is on you because the fights
are so fun, they're so great, and then when it
goes the other way, the light kind of dims.

Speaker 2 (04:29):
Have you been able to take note of who.

Speaker 1 (04:32):
Really is there for Tatoo Vasa in those moments, like
or has it not changed at all for you? Because
you'd be a very rare case that when it starts
to go the other way, people don't kind of jump
off the ship.

Speaker 4 (04:42):
No, my, my people, I'm from the Demon Lights. Yeah,
I'm from But it's not just that. I think it's
more personally when you know when you're when ship's gone good,
it's always good.

Speaker 3 (04:53):
It's good, but it's not it's up to you.

Speaker 4 (04:56):
And I think that was a big thing for me,
just to go, I get locked in with myself and
I'm ready to roll now.

Speaker 3 (05:04):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (05:06):
Georgino rose a strike that would seem to be the
type of matchup that you would really love because.

Speaker 2 (05:12):
He's not going to be trying to wrestle. He's not.

Speaker 1 (05:14):
They don't present that threat, right because when you're a
striker like you are, the guys that are hard are
the ones that while they may not be taking you down,
they do have that ability, so you can't truly stand
on what you want to do inside the octgun. Jarzino
doesn't present that when you got him as an opponent.
What were you thinking, Well, it's a great matchup.

Speaker 4 (05:35):
I've watched him for a few years now and I
thought it is a great matchup for me and definitely
one to get back in the colors. Yeah, but it's
it's going to be hot. You know, he's he's he's
been around for a long time with heavy weights. But
I feel like I'm faster, I'm more aggressive, and we'll see.

Speaker 2 (05:55):
How close do you? How close are you from this area?

Speaker 3 (05:58):
Perth, Western Sydney the other So.

Speaker 2 (06:03):
You're on Sydney, so you're far away. Not too much
family gonna be here.

Speaker 4 (06:07):
Uh, everyone's gonna fly over.

Speaker 2 (06:11):
It's so far, Bro, I flew.

Speaker 1 (06:13):
I traveled twenty two hours to get here.

Speaker 3 (06:17):
Another country.

Speaker 2 (06:17):
I tried. You know, most times I get off of
this car. Most times I'm like, yo, I gotta bro,
it's too far. Twenty two hours. Bro. Football, my son's football.
Hey did you did? You did? Australia? How Australia doing
the Olympics in rugby? Dude?

Speaker 1 (06:37):
I saw the girls? Oh my god, did you see that?
Break dancing is an Olympic sport?

Speaker 2 (06:44):
Dude? I could be an Olympia No, that's bullshit, TI,
I could you do. You can dance.

Speaker 3 (06:50):
I can't.

Speaker 2 (06:50):
I can outdance you.

Speaker 1 (06:53):
I've been in the club with you and I've outdanced you.
What you remember that time we were out in that
club in little almost performing and I started dancing. So
I started dancing and the entire club was going, go
d C, go DC, and I was just.

Speaker 2 (07:10):
No, I didn't no. I did not battle him. You
lost to him.

Speaker 3 (07:14):
I took your shoe off.

Speaker 2 (07:16):
That was That was crazy. Bro. You're doing shoes in there.
You're doing shoes. Oh my god, that was the craziest
sh it ever.

Speaker 3 (07:23):
Bro, didn't I.

Speaker 2 (07:30):
That's what That's one thing, right, Like, that's one thing.
Why shoeies. If you're gonna do it, you can't have
somebody with a dirty shoe.

Speaker 3 (07:37):
They were he was wearing them.

Speaker 2 (07:39):
Yeah, he was wearing He was cool dude too though.
That was bad. Well, you took the shoe off the
dude and I was like, ty stop. You remember what
you told Luke.

Speaker 1 (07:52):
He wanted you to take it and he was having
the best time of his life, and you said to him,
this is the craziest thing I've ever heard in my life.
He said, I'm gonna get you, so mess you're gonna
walk out of here tonight.

Speaker 2 (08:01):
That ship was fun time. That was crazy. You had
to have been drunk, bro. He loved it. Though the
guy loved it.

Speaker 1 (08:08):
He was pretty He absolutely loved it. And that's why I, dude,
I'll never forget it for the rest of my life.
It was a little bit uncomfortable, but his, the kid,
the guy's reaction was like it he lit up like
I've never seen anything.

Speaker 3 (08:25):
Like he gotta be They're not gonna walk again.

Speaker 1 (08:29):
You're gonna be sweet, be sweet about it and fun
to him for sure that But like I just remember,
like all the time that we spent, when we spent
time together, you did bring that joy to people, Like
do you you like doing that?

Speaker 3 (08:41):
I love it?

Speaker 2 (08:42):
Yeah, you made that guy, You made.

Speaker 1 (08:43):
That kid smile and a lot of people, Kyle Crutchmer
our guys and you always had everybody smiling and your
fun and people love you. But you gotta get it
going back in the right direction. And you sound like
you're doing all the things necessary to do that. So
when you're when you're locked back in those moments, when

(09:03):
you're in those dark places, how easy is it for
you tie to say, I know that while I don't
love this right because no office do. We love to train.
It's always fun. You work hard, but nobody loves being
away from their family. Nobody loves being locked away in
the gym for hours and.

Speaker 2 (09:20):
Hours a day.

Speaker 1 (09:21):
But then when you look on the flip side, right,
when I go back to I want to be the
man again, John Jones just knocked me out. I don't
want to go to practice today. How easy is it
for you to motivate you and go? I gotta get
there because I know what's at stake, because what if
this doesn't work out?

Speaker 2 (09:35):
What?

Speaker 3 (09:36):
What?

Speaker 2 (09:36):
What is there for ty too? I've got what are
your businesses?

Speaker 3 (09:41):
I've got a media company?

Speaker 2 (09:43):
Oh yeah you do?

Speaker 3 (09:43):
I know that a company?

Speaker 1 (09:45):
Beer company or that makes sense, beer company. Because for me,
it was like I felt like I had to make
it work.

Speaker 4 (09:53):
I think luck you said though, it's like you get
to appointments yourself, like I need to do it.

Speaker 3 (09:58):
I want to do it. Yeah, one's gonna change nothing.
That's all I do. And that's how my all love's
always been so better.

Speaker 2 (10:05):
On yourself.

Speaker 4 (10:06):
I point again, and I was like, DCS, I'm gonna
I go to go do what I'm gonna do. And
like I said, if this is the best stuff for
a couple of years.

Speaker 2 (10:13):
If you got a beer company. So here's the thing.

Speaker 1 (10:15):
Like so Dustin Poortier brings hot sauce, everybody else brings
that liquor.

Speaker 2 (10:20):
Because everybody's got a liquor. Why don't you ever bring
your beer to me?

Speaker 3 (10:25):
But you kind of drink with me?

Speaker 2 (10:27):
No, I can't, but you gonna at least give me one.
You're not drinking right now. I might be able to
out I actually might be able to out drink you
now since you have a drink for nine weeks.

Speaker 3 (10:41):
Could have.

Speaker 2 (10:44):
That's It's so funny, man.

Speaker 1 (10:46):
But you're a great guy, dude, and I wish you
all the best this weekend. It's gonna be fun watching
you in Jarzeno fight guys. Ty To Vosa fights this
weekend at UFC three oh five against Jorzino. Rolls to strike.
He's looking to get everything going back in the right direction.
You know, when you watch this man fight, it's always fun.
He always lets it all hang out and needs to
do that again this weekend. Until next time, Guys like

(11:07):
subscribeing to your friends and I'm checking in with dudes.
Like ty t Vasa time and time again. Tie, Thank
