Speaker 1 (00:01):
The volume. All right, guys, So I'm in Las Vegas
for the Contended series tonight. A couple of our guys
fight tonight. We have some great matchups on content. Contenders

(00:23):
has been crazy already this season. It continues this evening.
But as I was sitting thinking about the fights this evening,
thinking about the sphere coming up in a couple of weeks,
I find myself kind of locked in on Sean O'Malley.
It's hard not to do, considering he is the biggest

(00:47):
star on the fight card. He is the card, the
marquee name. So the card is built around Charlo Malley
and Sean o mallee is a different character because on
one hand he can be insanely disrespectful. The other hand,

(01:07):
he can be very gracious and we've seen on multiple occasions. Right,
So with the old Conda McGregor, think Sean O'Malley was
holding Co McGregor on like up high for a long time.
When Condo disrespect him, he was able to he disrespected
kind of back, which is to be expected from a
guy that is an alpha, who is a champion, who

(01:30):
feels like he should get respect and it's warrant right
he should feel that way. But then you look at
the fight with Morab he says he's gona knock Marob
out very early.

Speaker 2 (01:41):
In the fight.

Speaker 1 (01:42):
Is that disrespect or is that just him saying this
to an opponent. While it might feel like disrespect on
the surface, maybe it's just his belief. But then he
talks about Islamahache and he's very respectful and says he's
the greatest fighter in the world. Right now, you know,

(02:04):
this young man has managed to not only become a champion,
he's managed to become a star. And part of it
is because of his I don't really care type of attitude.
And I can't say what I really want to say,
but it is I don't really care attitude, and you

(02:25):
see it on those fronts. But when you talk about
him and moroc right when you talk about seanlmlaty and
he's going to knock him out very early, when looking
into the details of the fight, there can be some
opportunities for that to happen.

Speaker 2 (02:42):
Because do you.

Speaker 1 (02:43):
Remember when Moron fought Marlon Marice, he was hurt very
badly very early.

Speaker 2 (02:48):
He was able to recover well, he was hurt very bad,
very early.

Speaker 1 (02:55):
Charl Madley sees that and goes, there's no way that
you survive what I hit you with if you allow
me to hit you in that way or hurts you
as Marlon m Rice was able to hurt you. But
the way it comes off to the opponent probably would

(03:17):
feel disrespectful. Rob dualace Via is probably sitting there pissed
off because we see him, we seem Rob, and we
see a Rob in normal interactions, and disrespect is not
something he takes kindly to. We saw guys disrespect him
in the jiu jitsu competition in real life, and he

(03:38):
walks in the stands and grabs the guys there. He
grabs the guys there. He doesn't like that. He doesn't
like that. Now when O'Malley says things like that, I'm
pretty sure he's doing. But he also has to recognize
that these are the games that guy that understands fighting,

(04:02):
that guys that want to play the mind game with you,
that guys that really are like Sean O'Malley, are like
Connor McGregor, are like the ideas. Then being able to
frustrate you is a win for them, because if you
get frustrated and you start to make a mistake. Especially
with the way that you fight naturally, you may find

(04:23):
yourself in some real issues. I don't know if maybe
O'Malley's banking on that to happen, because Rob Dula's feeling
gets pissed off because he feels disrespected all the while,
on the other hand, Sean O'Malley's being mad respectful of
Islamihacha call him the best fighter in the world.

Speaker 2 (04:44):
So Sean made a prediction for the fight.

Speaker 1 (04:47):
He said, I know I'm gonna hurt him eventually, at
one point, I'm gonna hurt him, but then it could
turn into a brutal just knockout, just an absolute not
a good weight cut, not a good camp and he
just gets slept like that lead jingling type of fight,
like just one of those five or six punch is
just to add up and the last one just puts

(05:08):
them to the campus, snoring nose. Crooked Cat's screaming like
his intention is to try to really starts Rob. But
we haven't seen Rob get done in that way. But
is that his true belief? You know what I'm saying.
I love the way that he's approaching the fighting, the
way he's playing the game because I do believe that
mental has to be a part of this, especially on

(05:31):
his behalf, because you gotta find a way to make
Morob do something wrong, because if Morob does everything right,
we saw in the Pyodo Yon fight that he's a handful.
He will continue to press you for as long as
he has opportunities to press you.

Speaker 2 (05:47):
It's unbelievable.

Speaker 1 (05:48):
It's unbelievable the way that he is face and pressure,
the way he implements it to really wear down his opponents.

Speaker 1 (06:44):
Guys, what time is It is game time and game
time and rocket with us for a minute. Hey, So
Sean O'Malley and Rob dallas Villa is going to be phenomenal,
and so is so many other things on the Sear
fight card now. Yesterday, and I don't really like to

(07:05):
do this because I feel like it I shouldn't have
to do this, But yesterday Joaquin Buckley was speaking to
Damon Martin about our interaction on social media, how he
wishes to run into me one day. We're gonna see
each other at the in Salt Lake City. It is
what it is, and then we could talk like men.

(07:27):
That's how I do it. That's how I do it
all these type of situations. Whenever people start coming at
me in this way, the end of the day, I
am who I am. I'm Daniel Cormier and I'm gonna
be who I'm gonna be, right. So it's a matter
of how does the interaction start because online has been
very disrespectful. Now it seems to be kind of appealing

(07:49):
it back a little bit, and I believe that's the right.

Speaker 2 (07:52):
Decision because, like I said, it is what it is.

Speaker 1 (07:57):
I am who I am and I'm gonna be who
I'm gonna be, so let's try to, you know, keep
it the right way, especially being that he has a
fight that weekend. I'm not trying to do nothing to
this man when he's on the verge of one of
the biggest fights in his career.

Speaker 2 (08:13):
I don't get though, that.

Speaker 1 (08:17):
My job is not to uplift you. My job is
to tell the truth. And I just did not agree
with what you said in that call out.

Speaker 2 (08:23):
It was bad. It was really bad. Now I can
see how someone could be.

Speaker 1 (08:28):
Let down. But again, that is not my job. That's
not my obligation. My job is to call it like
it is. And I wasn't the only one that said it.
Many many people were in agreeance that it just was
not good.

Speaker 2 (08:41):
But that's okay. People make mistakes.

Speaker 1 (08:43):
We all have bad shall and I discussed bad with
just there. We all have bades. We all have Unfortunately
yours was at the biggest moment of your career. But again,
I'll be in Salt Lake City. We have been able
to see each other. I'll be there right then we
can have that conversation that you want to have out
Joaque and Bucket. I've been kind of ignoring this for

(09:03):
a long time.

Speaker 2 (09:04):
So but that's it. That's all the energy and the
time that I'm giving to that.

Speaker 1 (09:07):
I'm not gonna do a ten minute video responding to
some guy that says something about me, So I give
him a minute and that goes on there. All right, guys,
let me finish my preparation for the Contender series tonight.
In the comments, tell me, is Sean Ovalley being disrespectful
to Rob Duallas feeling or do you believe that that

(09:28):
is a true belief that he's gonna knock out this
machine that bad, that nasty, and he's.

Speaker 2 (09:35):
Gonna do it very early in the fight. Let me
know down below in those comments.

Speaker 1 (09:39):
Until next time, guys like subscribe that your reminders, make
sure you don't miss any of the videos we're giving you,
and always I love.

Speaker 2 (09:46):
