Speaker 1 (01:16):
Go and do something fun. Why not save money while
doing it. Let's go.

Speaker 2 (01:21):
UFC three zero seven is in the books and what
a fight night from Salt Lake City. I mean Alex Polloton,
Perrera retains, Julianapania becomes and new again, and so many
other great.

Speaker 1 (01:34):
Contests from the fight guys.

Speaker 2 (01:37):
Salt Lake City has now become one of the best
cities to come and call fights in. I love this
city because the fans come out early, they stayed a
whole time, and the fighters delivered.

Speaker 1 (01:47):
The circumstances you have to.

Speaker 2 (01:49):
Fight under here are very difficult because of the altitude.
It's it's exhausting when you're in there, people are fired up,
the energy is different. But the fight have time and
time again shown why the UFC is the UFC. Let's
start with Alex Pereira. Going into this fight, so many

(02:09):
people thought Khalil Raaldtree Junior rank number eight in the world,
had no chance. Very very early, that was proven different.
Khalil Raaldtree Junior started this fight very good. He was
actually winning on all the judges' scorecards. He was up
two rounds to one going into round four. Fought well,

(02:33):
but Alex Pereira literally made one of the best adjustments
in fight that I've seen. You could see that he
initially thought what everybody thought, This will be a little easier.
This is one of those nights where I'm going to
knock him out. And why wouldn't he. He had knocked
out former champion yere Ap Prohaska, he had knocked out

(02:55):
former champion Jamal Hill. He had beaten so many great
fighters and done it so impressively that when you're fighting
number eight rank guy in the world, why wouldn't you
expect the same thing to happen. That's exactly what Perera did.
He expected the same thing to happen early, but it didn't.

Speaker 1 (03:15):
So what did he do.

Speaker 2 (03:16):
He slowed everything down. He slowed it all down, and
he took his time. He went back to his low
calf kicks on the opposite side. He got more responsible
with his defenses because early in the fight he got
hit by Roundtree, He got dropped almost by round Tree
off of a head kick that he missed.

Speaker 1 (03:34):
But he settled himself, took his time. By the way.
I didn't think he lost wrong one.

Speaker 2 (03:39):
I thought Perera should have been up to the one,
but The judging here tonight was not a plus.

Speaker 1 (03:45):
These people were fucking up.

Speaker 2 (03:47):
It was unbelievable to see some of the scorecards that
these judges had tonight.

Speaker 1 (03:51):
But again back to Perera, he slows everything down.

Speaker 2 (03:55):
He goes back to fighting as if he's in a
high level glory kickboxing match.

Speaker 1 (04:00):
Could see the shift.

Speaker 2 (04:01):
You could see him change right away, and it paid dividends.

Speaker 1 (04:06):
Khalil Wrongtree Jr.

Speaker 2 (04:07):
Was out there like a guy that overcame extreme circumstances,
had a tough upbringing, almost died on his couch. He
looked like he was ready to dine inside that octagon
the nighte Perrera had to show him the way out.

Speaker 1 (04:23):
And it wasn't easy.

Speaker 2 (04:25):
He hurt him very bad round three, but in round
four he strategically broke him down. And when he hit
him with that body shot, body shot, body shot.

Speaker 1 (04:38):
Uppercut ron, Tree goes down. Fight is over. I mean
the cut. Khalil had a cut, whole eye was.

Speaker 2 (04:45):
Split over on the on the right side, cut underneath,
split open on top, cut on the left eye, all
from jabs, jabs. He was jabbing him and putting that
much damage on Khalil Roundtree Junior. It was a tremendous
performance by Alex Pulloton.

Speaker 1 (05:07):
Perrera, and that is why, honestly, he's the biggest start
we have in the UFC.

Speaker 2 (05:11):
The fans love him, they love him, and rightfully so.
The guy competes, he always shows up and he just
defended the belt for the third time in seven months.
Today he broke round the Rowseys records for the shortest
turnaround in terms of title fights, and he always does
it so impressively. What a champion Alex Pullaton Perera is.

(05:33):
Hats off to Khalil Roundtree junior man. He left it
all out there. He should be proud of himself. Many
thought ranked eighth, he didn't deserve a title fight. I
think tonight he showed he deserved to be in there
with one of the best fighters in the world. Perera's
making a boatload of money right now and rightfully so.
He's a champion that's available. He's a champion that steps up,
and he's a champion that.

Speaker 1 (05:53):
When you put him on the card, he performs. So
hats off to that entire team.

Speaker 2 (05:58):
I'm gonna go back and talk to Glover him at
the end of the fight. Him at Plinial get some
words on what they thought at their prize pupil. In
the co main event, Juliana Penney became the world champion
again tonight. I thought that she lost a fight. I
will be honest, but I need to go back and

(06:18):
watch round one. I thought Raquel won round four and
five pretty convincingly, but Juliana did have moments in round five.
But I thought it all came down the round one.
I will go back and rewatch that to see what
I remember. Though.

Speaker 1 (06:33):
It was a very very slow round.

Speaker 2 (06:35):
So and if I do watch them Juliana one, I
will eat my words. But that's on Raquel Pennington. Also,
you can't fight such a slow pace so early. To
hear a round that hardly anything was done, cost you
your world championship.

Speaker 1 (06:51):
H She follow.

Speaker 2 (06:54):
Out on the stretch, but she didn't fight very well early.
You guys see the boy again. Stupid ass Liverpool shirt man.
Take that shit off around me?

Speaker 1 (07:04):
Oh he.

Speaker 2 (07:06):
Everybody getting on camera tonight. Good fight, though much better.
Raquel Pennington had her hurt bad and wround four. Juliana recovered,
showed her grittiness, showed her toughness. The one thing you
can never question about Julian Peniels her toughness and she
will be a deserving champion. And we'll say this, she

(07:27):
dropped the ball on the call out. I mean, Kayla's
on the screen, see her name? Why no sell the
person that is clearly going to be your number one contender.
There is no world where she does not fight Kayla Harrison.

Speaker 1 (07:41):
She's fighting her next.

Speaker 2 (07:43):
You might as well put the cell on it right now.
Don't wait until the fight is announced. Now you're a
step behind when you had the opportunity to be a
step ahead going into your fight with Kayla Harrison, who
will be the number one could end the four year championship.
As we go forward and tonight, it's not like Kayla Harrison.

Speaker 1 (08:05):
Looked the best. Kayla's look better tonight.

Speaker 2 (08:08):
She looked like a girl that needs to get takedowns.
And if she does it, she is still a very
in the very early stages of her striking. So Julianapinia
should have after this performance been more willing to say
her name. But at the end of the day, she
becomes a champion again and Mike Valley and his team

(08:29):
out at Valley Flow now have two UFC champions on
their roster. Massive four a Gym out of Chicago that
is in a massive, huge gym. So great job, guys, Congratulations,
graduations Juliana on once again conquering the world and becoming
a world champion, exactly like you said you were going
to do. Mario Bautista and Jose Aldough went to his

(08:52):
split decision.

Speaker 1 (08:53):
Mario Bautista just clinched him. I get it.

Speaker 2 (08:56):
It might not be fan friendly, you might not like
the way to fight play out, but it was right, guys.
Controlling the octagon is a former criteria. Jose Aldo had
a few bursts in a third round where he did damage,
but not enough.

Speaker 1 (09:12):
You gotta sustain some damage.

Speaker 2 (09:13):
You can't let a guy hold you along the octagon's
side the entirety of that round and expect to get
a decision by some judges that honestly did not do
a great job tonight. There wasn't great judging tonight inside
of the arena in Salt Lake City, and I think
that's probably the only bad thing I can say about
this entire event. But Jose Aldo just seemed a little

(09:36):
bit willing to let him hold it him and I
think that I think Cardio played a part, and I
think he might have been a little bit fatigue, but
it is what it is. Roman Delize one. Kevin Holland
hurt himself when he twisted. It looked like he might
have popped the rib. That is probably the most painful
thing you could do inside of fighting. I am glad
that his coach called off the fight and did not

(09:58):
let the fighter have to say say I can't do
it no more. You always protect a fighter. The one
thing fighters have his toughness. Don't make them seem as
though they choose the exit sign.

Speaker 1 (10:09):
Don't do that to them.

Speaker 2 (10:12):
Kayla Harrison beat Kaitlyn Vieira, but wasn't the best performance
of her career.

Speaker 1 (10:16):
She didn't look great and that showed.

Speaker 2 (10:18):
Kaitlyn Vieira is number two in the world for a reason.
She's good and it showed tonight decided to fight. But
at the end of the day, Kayla Harrison got it
done and she is not a rifle No.

Speaker 1 (10:27):
One contender. I don't care that Juliana doesn't think that
she doesn't deserve it.

Speaker 2 (10:31):
She will fight for the championship belt next. Joaquin Buckley, congratulations,
that was beautiful to knock out.

Speaker 1 (10:38):
Won the boy.

Speaker 2 (10:39):
Thompson is very difficult to be behind and go and
get that done is a big deal. Congratulations man, he
did exactly what you said you were gonna do. Yasmin Lucindo,
Alexander Hernandez, Sezar Almeida, Ryan Span, Keisha Pennington, and Court McGee.

Speaker 1 (11:00):
Congratulations to all of you.

Speaker 2 (11:02):
You guys all made for another fantastic night from Salt
Lake City guys. But at the end of the day,
the night belongs once again to Alex Bullaton Perreira, the
best fighter at two o five and one of the
best fighters pound for pounds in the world to have
skills like that. Crazy Joe Rogan said that when we

(11:23):
talk to Mark god and Mark Goddard said, it's ungodly
watching him hit people and hearing the sounds that it made.
You don't hear that very often from one of the
best referees in the world. He's a different guy. He
is a different guy and it shows every time he's
in the octagon. Congratulations Bullton.

Speaker 1 (11:42):
Guys.

Speaker 2 (11:43):
Like I said, I will never take your support for granted.
I love each and every one of you. I thank you,
guys time and time again for giving me the opportunity
to do this for you and give me.

Speaker 1 (11:54):
The opportunity to live the life that I live.

Speaker 2 (11:56):
I will never take you guys for granted, and I
appreciate each and every morning. Until next time, guys, life subscribe,
tell your friends to tell their friends. DC's got a
YouTube channel and I'm giving you guys this type of access.
You ever wonder what happens after the UFC is this
VIP's get the opportunity to go inside the octagon and
take pictures and do all those types of things. Or

(12:17):
you could be a friend of mine and when you're
a friend of mine, I take people in there too.

Speaker 1 (12:21):
But that's exactly what happens. Look, they take pictures inside
the ostagons. Guys. UFC three seven was amazing.

Speaker 2 (12:27):
Until next time, go arsenal and thank you guys for
the support.

Speaker 1 (12:31):
I appreciate you.
