Speaker 2 (01:49):
Guys, we're back back with three rounds. Guys.
Speaker 1 (01:53):
You know it's been a while since we've done this,
but man the hell did I want.
Speaker 2 (01:58):
To do it.
Speaker 1 (01:59):
It's something that I've allay like to do. It's one
of my favorite concepts. It's something that it seemed like
you guys were tapping into. I appreciate that as always,
but shit, let's go back. Let's get back to three rounds.
Let's get back to the fight. I don't get the fight,
so I need to be able to experience the Russia,
going through these topics, going through my three fight training camp,
(02:21):
three topic training camps, and then bringing you guys, my thoughts,
my ideas, something weekly that we can do every single
week no matter what's going on. Uh I wanted to
get back to it, and uh so why not? And
training camp has been good, even working I've been on topics,
(02:42):
from doing podcasts to doing podcasts and calling fights and
doing all these things. So I've been training. I've been training.
I'm ready to go, So it's time to get to
the fight.
Speaker 2 (02:52):
Round one.
Speaker 1 (02:58):
Donald Cowboys. Serni says that he wants to fight again.
He said on Instagram that he wants to fight two
more times so that then he has fifty fights under
the zoofa banner. He told everybody that follows him, I
want to go back. I want to get two more fights.
When I retired, I told you I was gonna get
(03:19):
my hair done, which he has, and I was gonna
get on steroids. The number fifty and ZUFA has always
been sitting on my mind for a while. So I've
been working with Transcend for the last two years. I've
been taking TRT and a bunch of peptides. Now we
have a protocol for all you people that say, oh wait,
(03:39):
if you get on this, you can't ever come off
of it. He goes, now, I have to come off.
I've got a piss clean fight in a few months.
So watch this' don a Cowboys ERNI. The one thing
about Cowboys has been very refreshing to watch how open
he's been with all of this. He never lied, he
never lied about what he was doing, what he was
(04:01):
going to do, and how he was going to apply
it to his life.
Speaker 2 (04:04):
And I'm all for a guy that has.
Speaker 1 (04:06):
Personal goals, and I love Cowboy. A while back, guys,
we weren't always this good, but today we're great. We're great.
I saw Donald and he was just so much better.
But at the end of the day, for years now,
(04:28):
he's been openly using steroids. And when I saw him,
he told me I should do it because he said
he's never felt better. He seemed happier, he had more energy.
It seemed to me that Donald was doing great.
Speaker 2 (04:44):
And now I find out that outside of the.
Speaker 1 (04:48):
Movies, because remember, guys, it was the movies he was
doing all these things.
Speaker 2 (04:52):
He was really starting to build his portfolio outside of
mixed martial arts.
Speaker 1 (04:55):
But during all that he's been training, and when you're training,
you start to feel better, you start to feel like
yourself again, especially with the help, and you go, I
want to fight again. But at the end of the day,
cowboy's been doing steroids.
Speaker 2 (05:09):
Openly, openly, openly.
Speaker 1 (05:13):
Abusing steroids to make himself feel like he feels right now.
The way he feels right now makes him want to
fight again.
Speaker 2 (05:22):
Now.
Speaker 1 (05:22):
I like Donald now, but it doesn't matter what I
feel about him as a person, as a buddy or
whatever it is. Our relationship is today. I don't quite
know what it is. But he's not been clean. And
even if he can come back, take tests, pass those tests.
For him to get back, he had to do all
(05:42):
those things. He had to do all those enhancers to
allow for him to feel like he compete at that
level again, so he would test clean. But isn't that
just a loophole.
Speaker 2 (05:59):
Isn't it just.
Speaker 1 (06:01):
Like the guys that when they get hurt, they get
out of the testing pool, they recover from the injury,
then they re enter the testing pool. It's not wrong,
it's not illegal, But is it right because you truly
have been enhanced to get to where you are and
(06:23):
how you feel, and I mean feel good enough to
come back and fight in the elite competition, in fighting
in the elite organization of UFC. That's to me, doesn't
feel right. So I was speaking of my buddy Jamil right,
he's an Olympian. I asked him what do you feel
about it? And he told me this. He goes, it's
(06:43):
like the rule that Oregon used against Ohio State, that
this is a football analogy. He goes, it's not in
the rule book. It's not in the rule.
Speaker 2 (06:52):
Book, but was it fair play?
Speaker 1 (06:54):
So for the ones that you that don't know, there
was like thirty seconds left in the game, Oregon puts
twelve field, knowing that they were gonna get a penalty,
but the clock continues to run.
Speaker 2 (07:05):
Ohio State doesn't realize that it continues to run. Ten
to twelve.
Speaker 1 (07:11):
Seconds go off because they were just standing around as
if they wouldn't have happened. They dodn't won the game,
They didn't won the game. They just stood around there
not knowing they would have won the game. Remember also,
cowboy loss, I mean six fights, had won no contests
in seven fights, and the last time he fought Jim
(07:33):
Milly got submitted. Imagine if he comeback and he looks
like a world beater. I'm against it. I'm honestly against it.
I'm honestly against the idea that you could find a loophole,
go in, use that loophole, feel better while using that loophole,
come back and fight because you could pass the clean test.
(07:55):
I like Donald cowboys Seroni. I'm against Donald Cowboy Saroni
getting to compete in the UFC after openly doing what
he's been doing for the last two and a half years.
Let me know in the comments with you guys feel
who that was a tough rount one.
Speaker 2 (08:17):
Round two.
Speaker 1 (08:18):
Iliot Topouria and Max Holloway are scheduled to square off
next week.
Speaker 2 (08:22):
In Abu Dabbin.
Speaker 1 (08:23):
Look for my money, this is the best fight that
we have on the UFC fight card. I'm talking about competitiveness,
I'm talking about uh, the bad blood.
Speaker 2 (08:35):
I'm talking about the feelings.
Speaker 1 (08:38):
Toward each other in regards to what they think they've accomplished.
Speaker 2 (08:42):
I think it has it all. I truly believe that
this fight has it all now.
Speaker 1 (08:49):
The champion, Illiot Tapouria, was on Aria Hawani Show yesterday
and he said this, Oh wait up, before I get going,
Hats off to my boy, Ariel. He launched, uncrowned something
that honestly, he's been speaking about for years.
Speaker 2 (09:02):
He wanted to do this thing that was his.
Speaker 1 (09:05):
Own, and now he's gotten it and he's doing this
daily show and it's amazing to see the success that
he's gotten. Congrats Ariel on finally getting what you wanted
for so long. But yesterday he's speaking the iliots.
Speaker 2 (09:19):
To pour you.
Speaker 1 (09:21):
Iliot goes, I don't give a expective about the belt.
To be honest, he calls himself the BMF, so we
already know who the world champion is. And in the
first seconds of this fight at UFC three h eight,
we're going to find out who the real BMF is
because I already challenged him in the first and seconds
of the fight to point to the ground and we'll
(09:43):
see what he's going to do. He goes on the state,
I'll be in the middle of the octagon, trying to
give the fans the best start to a UFC fight
in history.
Speaker 2 (09:55):
When you hear this.
Speaker 1 (09:57):
As a fight fan, it gets you all gitterate and
you go, Okay, these dudes' about to get down. He's
just about to get down. But guys, this is clearly
a ploy by Iliot to Pourio.
Speaker 2 (10:09):
It's a ploy.
Speaker 1 (10:11):
This is a ploy, And when you dig a little
deeper into it, he's flat out challenging Max Holloway and
challenging Max Holloway in a way that you and I know,
as friends of Max and fans of Max, that he
probably cannot resist the urge to go out there and
just go I'm gonna smash this dude. But at the
(10:33):
end of the day, it's a ploy by Iliot to
pourion because isn't Max the guy that's supposed to fight
in this fight smart and maintain range? Because it seems
pretty common knowledge that if Max Halloween stands in front
of Iliot Tapoi, he puts himself in danger.
Speaker 2 (10:53):
But Iliason, I want you to do with me what
you did to Justin Gaechee.
Speaker 1 (10:58):
He's challenging him in a way that Max Holloway may not,
or at least ily is hoping. Max Holloway isn't able
to resist the urge to say, Okay, I'm Hawaiian, I'm
a fighter.
Speaker 2 (11:10):
I'm a dog, just like you're a dog. Let's do it.
Let's do it. It's smart by to Pouria. So while
he might seem like.
Speaker 1 (11:19):
He's emotional because Ilia cusses a lot, Ilio gets mad.
Speaker 2 (11:23):
He knows what he's doing.
Speaker 1 (11:25):
He's the guy that knocked out Alexander Volklanowski in the
last fight. When he traps you, he puts you down.
He hurts people. He can hurt anybody, even Max Holloway.
So by telling him I'm doing this, I'm gonna do this,
let's see if this man is willing to fight me
like he does everybody else in the middle of the
(11:47):
octagon in the first ten seconds. Why is that important?
Because in the first ten seconds that dude is fresh.
Iliot Tapouria can knock you out in the fifth round.
Imagine if you can get your hands on you and
started a first round.
Speaker 2 (12:01):
That's smart by.
Speaker 1 (12:02):
Iliot to Pourio, because that's how you challenge a guy
like Max Holloway, who is a BMF, who loves the
idea that he's the man and he's willingness. If Max
Holloway didn't love that, he would have never started doing this.
Speaker 2 (12:15):
He's been doing it for years.
Speaker 1 (12:18):
But isn't the thought on this fight that if Ilia
is to win, he's gonna knock him out. Because we
haven't seen nobody outwork Max Hallowey over twenty five minutes.
Speaker 2 (12:30):
We haven't. So isn't Ilia's supposed to knock him out?
By challenging him in.
Speaker 1 (12:37):
That way, you give yourself that chance if Max Holloway
stands on the quarter and says, okay, I'm with it.
So I spoke to Max on Sunday and he was
on his way to Abu Dhabi getting ready for the fight.
He said he's not annoyed with the POURIO, he said,
but he wants to go and get the job done.
(12:59):
The one thing I do want to tell Max HOLLOWAYO,
stop stealing my shit. Man, Stop stealing my stuff. This
dude's out there talking about I want the easiest fighting
the division.
Speaker 2 (13:09):
Come on, Max, that's your boys work. Guys.
Speaker 1 (13:15):
To me, this is by far the best fight that
we have on the docket. I know there are great
ones coming up, but this one is the best one
for all the reasons I told you before. But who's
gonna play the game smarter? Is Max gonna take debate?
I guess we find out in like.
Speaker 2 (13:32):
A week, all right, guys.
Speaker 1 (13:35):

Hey, this is the best time of.
Speaker 1 (14:44):
The year to go and do something fun. Why not
save money while doing it.
Speaker 2 (14:49):
Let's go experience round three, guys, Hey with a body
shot in there? Row.
Speaker 1 (14:58):
You know I don't like bodies that Max Halloway round.
I got hurt against the side of the dockgown. But
I'm a champion. I keep fighting. I got off the
stool for this round. I'm not giving up on y'all.
Dana White seems to be giving up on the rankings panel.
He said, I just cannot handle in competence talking after
the Contendent series last night. I can't take it anymore.
(15:22):
It drives me crazy. I can't let the people that
I don't believe know what the exp if they're doing,
deal with the rankings anymore. Can't do it. I have
to figure out a solution. He said that today, right
because last night he said that I have a meeting
with a group of people who are coming to me
(15:42):
and saying they have a solution for the problem. God,
I hope they are right, because I'm gonna change it.
The media will no longer control the rankings in the UFC.
Speaker 2 (15:54):
He goes on to say, I can't do it.
Speaker 1 (15:57):
Internally, I can't do it. Hunter can't do it. Sean
can't do it, Mick can't do it. He said, it's unfair.
He said, we have biases. There are fighters I love,
there are fighters I do not like. I will not
put my guys in that position. I do not want
to put myself in that position. So we will outsource this,
(16:17):
find someone to do it for us, and hopefully somebody
that will do it much better than what we have
doing what has been done before. But he wants to
get changed and he hopes that change is for the better.
You know, rankings is a very funny thing because outside
(16:37):
of knowing that alecx peer is the champion because he's
beaten everyone, it's all subjective. One guy beats one guy,
one guy beats the other guy, guy beats the other guy.
But some of the mistakes that are made in rankings
shouldn't happen at this level. The problem is to get
(16:58):
to where we are today, you have to invite people
in who aren't necessarily people who cover the sport on
the ground level. So it's not like you're getting all
the best reporters in MMA to rank this. That's what
they do in football, But they also have other people
(17:21):
that are involved, But it's not like you get a
general sports media person or a general news reporter sports
reporter and he ranks the UFC. He doesn't get to
rank the top twenty five in college football. I don't
believe him, not exactly sure, but I don't believe he
(17:41):
gets as much. The coaches also ranked the top twenty five,
so they probably have it as good as anyone, and
they still run into issues when talking about rankings. There
is no easy way to rank anything, especially fighting. One
(18:02):
of the biggest issues they not had with the rankers
was Khalil Rawntree staying where he was prior to the
fight with Alex Perrera. Khalil fought a good fight, a
really good fight. Khalil could potentially go up a spot
or two in the rankings, Yes, but Khalil lost that
(18:26):
fight and didn't beat anyone ahead of him, and so,
to play Devil's advocate, I don't know the grounds at
which he should have gone up much, if anything, because
Perrera's beat them all, and that's where the problem comes
(18:47):
when you have a dominant champion.
Speaker 2 (18:49):
Khalil did really well. We thought it was a great fight.
Everybody did.
Speaker 1 (18:54):
We've led compliments to Khalil Rawntree in abundance. Khalil Rauntree
is still still getting interviewed his star roles in defeat,
but at the end of the day, he's still lost.
So on what grounds are we really moving him up,
especially when the other guys didn't really fight. I believe
(19:20):
that when you change this, and they will, it'll lead
to a different set of complaints for people. It'll make
us all feel good internally, every one of us. It'll
make us all to feel better internally, but people on
the outside are still gonna find a reason to complain
(19:42):
every title flight that I wasn't a champion. Guys, I
was number three ranked. Dyna got mad about that it
remained the same, but he said that now he wants
to change it and it'll change for the better, because
every time he does it does it does. Khalil should
move up, but how far? I think we gotta just
(20:05):
get the people in position that know what they're talking
about if we want those rankings to change change for
the better.
Speaker 2 (20:17):
Oooh, guys, is tough. That was a fight. It was
a fight. It was like me fighting one of the
tough ones in my career. But it's okay. We're up.
We won, We got a decision. It's all good. Sometimes
that's how you win.
Speaker 1 (20:32):
But now for my final thought, guys, it's okay to
walk away. So we as athletes struggle to walk away
from the game that has made us so uniquely us.
But it's okay, I promise you. For an athlete, the
unknown is the scariest thing in the world, especially when
(20:53):
you're high thinking, because when you're a high thinking individual,
your mind is always focusing on something. But I promise
you it's okay. The other side is amazing. I know
we fear the adulation and the fame and the rush
(21:14):
that you get when you hit that curtain, but it's
not that bad. On the other side. Tony Ferguson is
hanging on for far too long. Donald Soroni said that
he wants to come back. You don't have to. You
don't have to. It's not that bad. On the other side,
(21:38):
Kyle Wey Sharroni's doing this because he wants to fight.
Speaker 2 (21:41):
Kyle Wey.
Speaker 1 (21:41):
S Roney's doing very well in everything. I'd imagine Tony
Ferguson is doing very well financial and everything in life,
but he just not has He hasn't figured out who
he is outside of fighting, so it's a struggle for him.
So I saw an article yesterday had said the UFC
is gonna have to show Tony ferguson the door. Sadly,
(22:02):
I believe this is the case.
Speaker 2 (22:06):
I believe that when he can let it go, when
he can.
Speaker 1 (22:10):
Experience the other side, and the other side is just life,
he'll be just fine. So Lit's is a guy that's
done it. It's okay to be done. I promise you
it's not that bad. It's quite refreshing action.
Speaker 2 (22:30):
Guys, thank you again for joining me for three rounds.
Speaker 1 (22:35):
I promise you I will be doing this every single
week every Wednesday at five pm Eastern two pm Pacific
on my YouTube channel. We'll discuss three of the biggest
topics in mixed martial arts. Will go in depth with
every single one of them. I appreciate you guys joining
me on this whole YouTube journey. I love verse back
each and never one of you, and I will never
take the time that you take to watch my stuff
(22:57):
for granted until next time, Like subscribe, I had a
reminder so that you missed none of my videos until
next time. Tell your friends that DC's got a YouTube channel,
and I'm doing stuff like three rounds and checking in
with all my friends as I will next week in
Abu Dhabi.
Speaker 2 (23:12):
Until next time, peace,
