Richard Sherman interviews his former Seattle Seahawks teammate Bobby Wagner. The two close friends discuss Bobby's move to the Washington Commanders, rookie QB Jayden Daniels taking the NFL by storm in his first season, and how it feels for Bobby to reunite with former Seattle defensive coordinator Dan Quinn in Washington. Richard also asks Bobby for his Seattle Seahawks Mount Rushmore and they debate how Marshawn Lynch, Russell Wilson, Kam Chancellor, Steve Largent, and Walter Jones should be ranked in Seattle history.

Speaker 2 (01:47):
Don't foo Bowl championships. That should always be the expectation.

Speaker 3 (01:50):
All right, man, ex you go ahead. Welcome back to
the Richard Sherman Podcast. I got my guy on here today,

(02:12):
Bobby Wagner of the Washington Commanders now and they balling
talk about it.

Speaker 2 (02:19):
Love Champ.

Speaker 3 (02:20):
What up?

Speaker 2 (02:21):
Yeah?

Speaker 3 (02:22):
Yeah, I'm really good. You gotta be good man, good Man. Yeah,
I was running, you know what I mean, did me
ten miles to day in shape. I told him that
y'all asked me to cover somebody that's a whole different ordeal.
My growing ain't got that.

Speaker 2 (02:35):
It's okay, right, ain't gonna do that no more.

Speaker 3 (02:38):
I seen young Emanuel Forbes get him a book last week.

Speaker 2 (02:41):
I oh, I saw that. I saw that. We got
to teach him how to get to the end zone? Though,
what is what.

Speaker 3 (02:46):
These dudes sliding?

Speaker 2 (02:47):
Now?

Speaker 3 (02:48):
Nobody want to return to football?

Speaker 2 (02:50):
Uh yeah, he gotta speak on that.

Speaker 3 (02:52):
I can't.

Speaker 2 (02:53):
I can't speak family.

Speaker 3 (02:54):
No. But he did it, and then young Kobe and
Seattle did it. I said, Kobe, it's your first pick.
You're supposed to get some of this.

Speaker 2 (03:02):
I didn't see. I heard he had a good game,
but I wasn't able to catch it.

Speaker 3 (03:04):
So, yeah, he got he's playing safety now. So there
was running two he he kind of overlapped over the scene.
Good a good hooker in the in the passing lane, overthrowing.
He's money nice.

Speaker 2 (03:16):
We love those.

Speaker 3 (03:17):
Yeah, got got to get those. So talk about what
it's like to have d Q. Now you know you're
in year thirteen. You know, pen time All Pro, nine
time Pro Bowler, All World Bobby Wagner compared to second
year Bobby Wagner that was dealing with DQ for the
first time.

Speaker 2 (03:36):
Uh well, I didn't have to deal with DQ. I
had to deal with y'all. I think I was the
biggest thing I had to deal with. But uh nah,
it's been cool. Like watching DQ. Obviously we've you know,
we kept in touch. You know, I watched him from Afar.
You see the growth of what he was able to
do in Dallas and Atlanta and all the places that
he was at. But to be able to come back

(03:59):
and to this new team and be a part of
his culture and change this culture of you know team
where you know, last year four wins, we're at five now,
just trying to stay on that that hungry like there's
more out there to get. Like we it's good to
be where we're at, but there's so much more that

(04:20):
we can get. And so being with him and obviously
being back with North has been a blessing for sure.

Speaker 3 (04:26):
Yeah, I mean it has to. I just know, the
dynamic has to be so much different. The love and
respect that d Q has for you, and I'm sure
and of course Norton has for you, but it's just
when you first came in, you was a young pump
and now you're such a chisel veteran. I know that
the conversations between you and Norton probably, as I think
about it, no, they probably didn't change that much.

Speaker 2 (04:47):
No, Norton, nort don't really you know, nord don't really
see me no different than when I was when I
first got to me. So the conversations with him, Uh,
they've matured a little bit, but but they're still along
the same line for sure.

Speaker 3 (04:59):
Just saw kJ It's San Francisco the other day. You
know he coaching. Now, how crazy is that?

Speaker 2 (05:07):
So crazy? Especially for forty nine ers. I'm being honest.
You know you guys, You know.

Speaker 3 (05:14):
You guys. I mean your uniform is different, it's different.

Speaker 2 (05:18):
But we all got to go there.

Speaker 3 (05:24):
Talk about the growth of this young team. Man, because
because I know, DQ had to lean on your leadership,
and that's why he brought you in because obviously one
of the best players in the history of the game,
but he needed somebody to lead this defense. And you've
done a great job and you can see the growth
of the young secondary. We talked about it before the season,
how much potential they had, and you you talked about

(05:44):
guys could be really special and they're going out there
and put it on tape.

Speaker 2 (05:47):
Yeah, I think you just got a you know, a
lot of culture, a lot of just everything is just
trying to teach people how to win, you know, like
when you come from different places. You know there's guys
that won in college, but winning in college and when
the league is totally different because you know, you could
play a team that's one in five and they can
get the best of you if you don't you know,

(06:08):
prepare right. So it's you know, preparation is, how to
watch film is, how to take care of your body
throughout the week, how to study, you know, doing those
things consistently once you get a routine. It's all those things.
It's not just myself. Zach has done a great job
on the offens is and to help as well, you know,
he's put it together really amazing coaching staff as well

(06:31):
that has allowed us to be we're today too. So
I think it's a collective thing between the coaches, the players,
everybody just being on the same page and everybody just
believing that there's something special.

Speaker 3 (06:41):
Here and there is. And it seems like you guys
are doing a great job on the football field putting
it on tape. You know, Stanford guys. You know, Zach
was going, of course, be a great leader. He's a
Stanford guy's.

Speaker 2 (06:54):
Frustrated A yeah, and Howard Weiss, by the way.

Speaker 3 (07:00):
Speaking of Howard Bison, how is that going, mister m b.

Speaker 2 (07:03):
A, it's going great? Man love being back in school.
There's a little sarcasm.

Speaker 3 (07:09):
But there's a lot. I'm reading a lot of sarcasts.

Speaker 2 (07:12):
It's it's funny because when I was in college I
used to hate having to balance the football in school aspect.
And who would have thought ten plus years later I
would voluntarily do it again.

Speaker 3 (07:28):
So it's calm. Yeah, yeah, I wouldn't. I would have
you know, waited a year maybe, But I like I
like that you accepted the challenge. How are you going
to any in person classes or is it just all online?

Speaker 2 (07:38):
Now? It's all online. I try to pop in, you know,
and be around and go on campus a little bit,
but all online.

Speaker 3 (07:46):
Okay, So why are you popping on campus.

Speaker 2 (07:50):
Because you want to go into the business buildings and
you know you've got the football team there, like to
show football team love.

Speaker 3 (07:55):
You know.

Speaker 2 (07:55):
They sponsored by Jordans. They bless your boy with some
some Jordan's, you know, Howard Jordan's.

Speaker 3 (08:01):
So did they bless you, or did Jordan bless you
because you're a Jordan athlete, or because it's kind of.

Speaker 2 (08:06):
It's all family. You know what I'm saying, soft family?

Speaker 3 (08:09):
Uh, clearly I ain't family. I ain't got no Jordan's.
I look at I think you were one. You had
your own shoot, I want Jordan's.

Speaker 2 (08:20):
That is very unheard of, uh as a football player.
And and two I think they like when I went
to campus, I saw your face on the building. That's crazy.

Speaker 3 (08:31):
It wasn't on the building. It's the slipper of a
of a picture.

Speaker 2 (08:35):
By building that looked like it was on the building.
So you know, and I think you were one of
the first people that I can remember that had actual
Kobe's on the field.

Speaker 3 (08:47):
So you so you got Jordan's phone number in your phone, right,
And that's probably not even the biggest number you got
in your phone, because I'm sure you got Tigers, you
got you got jay Z's. I know I saw you
meet whole Will Smith was giving you shout outs. I mean,
I'm such a C level celebrity around Bobby Wagner that
it's really childish to even have this conversation. That's why

(09:10):
I got to keep it about football.

Speaker 2 (09:11):
I will not confirm or deny any of the names
mentioned on this spot.

Speaker 3 (09:17):
I'm just I'm just saying, America, he's a big deal.
He say he's one of the greatest ever play. Hey,
let me let me see football trivia for Bobby Wagner. Oh,
here we go, Yeah yeah yeah, cut this part out.
You got ten all pros. There's only four people in
that history of the game that have four. People in

(09:37):
the history of the game that have more.

Speaker 2 (09:42):
They have more, that have more.

Speaker 3 (09:46):
Four A.

Speaker 2 (09:52):
Lawrence Taylor has to be one one.

Speaker 3 (09:56):
Lawrence is a great guest. That's a great guestn't it right.
It's a great guest as well. I'm starting to think,
I'm starting to think you don't even appreciate how great
you are.

Speaker 2 (10:07):
I'm going with some grace here, you know what I mean.

Speaker 3 (10:09):
You're going with some old timers.

Speaker 2 (10:11):
The offense, tour are just everything is included. Jerry Rice
is up there. Yes he is, Okay, okay, who played
a long time now. He threw me off with the
Lawrence Taylor should have had like a kadrillion.

Speaker 3 (10:26):
He should have he should have. I don't know, I
don't know how to I.

Speaker 2 (10:29):
Think he only played ten seasons, though, I think who's
the other three?

Speaker 3 (10:35):
See, you would have been close with Ray and Lawrence,
but they got ten two. I said, more mm hmmm.
Who just wanted to, you know, clarify that for you.
One of them played for the Green Bay Packers. Played
for the Green Bay Packers. One of them played for
didn't play quarterback regu Here we go go. The other

(10:58):
two are tackles. Thomas Nope, I think he probably got
ten two. Heang Anthony Muneos, you wouldn't have got that one.
And Bruce Smith that was my next guest, that one.
Those are the only people who got more All pros
than Bobby Wagon.

Speaker 2 (11:19):
That's crazy. That's a good that's a good, good group
to be a part of.

Speaker 3 (11:22):
I mean, I mean, you're gonna be a part of
a lot of exclusive groups. When they give you your
jacket and I'm gonna be there singing in the background,
I knew it the whole time.

Speaker 2 (11:32):
We're gonna make sure your mic is cut off.

Speaker 3 (11:35):
Okay, so see, okay.

Speaker 2 (11:36):
But you're gonna be there right next You're gonna be
all good, everything cool. But we're just.

Speaker 3 (11:40):
Gonna okay, so no no mic for me, Okay, Okay.
So now now you're setting yourself up for after football.
You got your NBA. You got Crumble Cookies in Renton,
Washington at the Landing for all you ladies and gentlemen
if you if you need some cookies and you want
to support one of your favorite players in all time, great,
make sure you hit that Crumble cook key in the

(12:00):
Renting land.

Speaker 2 (12:02):
And you know what I mean. We we all eat healthy,
we all take care of our bodies, but you need
that one day to enjoy that dessert. So why not
enjoy that crumbling Atlantic.

Speaker 3 (12:12):
I love it. I love it. Talk about Young Jay
and Daniels. Is he all right? He went out of
that game. And then young Mariota what's throwing the ball
around to y'all?

Speaker 2 (12:21):
Watching markets play was was really dope because he prepares,
you know, kind of like somebody who knows, uh, he's
gonna be a starter, and he prepares like that every
single day, and so to get his opportunity and watch him,
it was just fun. You know, Jayson was gonna be okay.
It's been fun playing with him and U being around him.

(12:44):
Young II Natives. So you know, we just keep growing
and growing, taking over the league by storm, But it's
been fun. He's real cool down to earth. You definitely
would have loved to play with him. Yeah, he looks
like a fun kid. It looks like he's always cool
and elected, never panicked, plays under control.

Speaker 3 (13:03):
And then he's trying to thread at the needle. That
boys hinpoint.

Speaker 2 (13:06):
Oh yeah, it accuracy is crazy.

Speaker 3 (13:09):
Yeah, some of the pass I saw get in there.
I say, oh, I don't think. I don't know if
everybody paying attention. It's boys threading the needle.

Speaker 2 (13:16):
That's confidence too. To his credit, he prepares amazing, like
he's here early, leaves late, constantly watching film, constantly watship
working on something. So's it's cool.

Speaker 3 (13:30):
So what's something that's different about this commander's locker room?
You know, building your routine that's been different than the years.
Obviously you're on the East Coast, and I know that
time difference is is slapping you in the face every chance.
It's gonna slap your nfls tonight when you try to
watch the Lakers game, it starts at ten thirty Eastern.

Speaker 2 (13:48):
That's the biggest thing, to be honest, Like everything else
is cool, Like the time difference has been cool. You know,
you know people on the East Coast, but you know,
you rarely travel over here, so being able to connect
with those uh those people. But that's been the toughest
thing is like, you know, when you want to watch
a Thursday night football game, you know what I'm saying,
and watch a boy you know after the show, Uh,

(14:10):
it's tough, you know, to stay up because it's like
midnight by that time. So that's been the biggest suggestion.
But you know, you are one of the few people
that I will stay up and uh you know watch it,
you know, give commentating and have your fun.

Speaker 3 (14:23):
So I appreciate that. I appreciate that we got to
we got a really fun game with y'all this year.
I can't wait for that game. Yeah that's good. Yeah,
I think in Philly, Oh yeah, that's gonna be fun.
But but yeah, man, that's what was blowing my mind
the year in Champa. I was trying to watch the
Laker game and you sitting there and you know, the
Lakers just there. They'll let you down. We'd be down

(14:44):
fifteen and you'll be sitting there like I just stayed
up till twelve forty five to just watch. You'll beat by.

Speaker 2 (14:49):
Thirty or they'll be down fifteen and you'll be like,
all right, well maybe it's it's a good time to
go to bed. You go to bed, and then you
wake up and they won by twenty and you're like, dang,
y'all couldn't do that. When I was up.

Speaker 3 (15:01):
Right, I stayed up the whole time. Maybe I'm bad luck.
Maybe I need to stop watching.

Speaker 2 (15:05):
It ain't not bad, but I'm pretty sure Lakers are
watching this. Lakers. I do need a black jersey. Please
can you see you boy in black jersey? Thank you?

Speaker 3 (15:14):
Send him a black five four four or five nine,
either one. I think he oh, my bad, my bad
college number. And then at one time and.

Speaker 2 (15:24):
Then Brownie got nine. You know what I'm saying. So
you know, just put you.

Speaker 3 (15:30):
Do, it will be dope. It will be dope. I
got one of those A bad player should have number.

Speaker 2 (15:39):
No.

Speaker 3 (15:39):
It was when they was so terrible and they were
trying to get people in the stands. They were like,
they were like, hey, could you come to the game.
But I came and they gave me a jersey and
we did like a little presentation. It was it was
probably eleven thousand people at that game.

Speaker 2 (15:53):
Man. Hey, But still that's that's a dream for people
in Cali.

Speaker 3 (15:57):
So I ain't gonna lie. I felt it felt pretty good,
real good. So are you are you talking to the
young guys about and best thing about you know? Are you?
Are you being that old head?

Speaker 2 (16:07):
Uh? You try to? I mean, I don't, you know,
force it on, but you definitely have. There's a group
of guys that are interested, and you try to pour
into those guys, but you you know, you more try
to figure out how they can take care of their
money and understand that this game does not last forever.
You know, you definitely have to prepare for you know,

(16:29):
when that time comes and you can no longer be
a part of this league. From from that perspective, and
you want guys to walk away with something, I think
it's it's unfortunate when you hear all these stories where
guys walk away and and you know, they play and
put their body on the line and they have no
financial stability that they should have. And so I push
that more than any anything. But I think the thing

(16:50):
that I think I try to push to is like
using your platform and using this time while you have
it to figure out what is your next thing? Like
what is something that you're inted in because you know,
the commanders, the Seahawks and Rams, they all have people
that can can help you into that world. You just

(17:10):
got to think about it a little bit. I think
we were in a dope sport where you know, unless
you Aaron Donald, you work out like three hours, and
that's there's so many more hours that you could do
with your time. You know, you had a couple more
hours studying film. The rest can be you know, growing
and thinking about what that looks like. And so you know,
I try to encourage guys to think about that and

(17:32):
look into that.

Speaker 3 (17:33):
No, that's that's perfect. Have you had got to have
any conversations with Magic, you know he's he's been incredible,
and just to venture investment space on the restaurants. Obviously
we both from the southern California area. I ain't gonna
say la because y'all take it so disrespectfully out there, But.

Speaker 2 (17:51):
We're all together altogether.

Speaker 3 (17:53):
Now we're together, you know, because that person was I
e the valley.

Speaker 2 (17:57):
You know, y'all just y'all try to act that we
don't exist. That's all it is, you know what I'm saying.
But now our respects is a little bit now, you know.
So it's all good.

Speaker 3 (18:06):
I don't disrespect nobody, you know, mm hmm. I mean,
y'all exists.

Speaker 2 (18:12):
I mean we got we got a document, you know
a lot of.

Speaker 3 (18:16):
But speaking of what's going on with Kawhi man, what's
what's going on with my guy?

Speaker 2 (18:23):
Uh, I don't know, I don't know.

Speaker 3 (18:25):
I felt bad. I thought I thought he was going.

Speaker 2 (18:28):
Yeah, I thought he was, you know, going to be
in a good space. I'm not sure where he's at,
but hopefully, I mean, he has uh, you know, everybody
that can help him get on the right track. And
you know, I'm hoping that he's able to get out
there and and and help that team because the city
is always always always on fire when the Lakers and
the Clippers are doing well, and you guys, going to

(18:49):
that game and seeing that game is always a pleasure.
So hopefully he's able to figure that out.

Speaker 3 (18:54):
Were you well, I can't act exactly where you were living,
but you stand in the house, you stand in an apartment
out there, because I know you're house in Washington. You
have to miss it, you know, with your own private
lake and and things of that nature. Just a beautiful
scenic environment. You know, you you have to miss that
a little bit. Of course I miss it, of course
I miss it. I also miss you know, visiting your

(19:18):
man made hand that you made in front with all
the fishes that you have to watch out, you know
for people to come and eat them, because it's so
crazy and rare.

Speaker 2 (19:28):
It's pretty amazing. They don't make land like that no more.
But yeah, no I do. I do miss it a
little bit.

Speaker 3 (19:37):
But yeah, yeah, the fants that they miss you too,
you know. Even at your Crumble event. You know, there
are fants wearing your jersey and they sold out of
your jersey. I'm sure the store was very happy that
your event went so well because people are still buying
Bobby Wagner jerseys even though you're not playing for the
team anymore. You meant so much to the franchise. What
do these fans mean to you and and their support

(19:59):
even when you are playing for another team. I still
hear fans talking about man. I still cheer for Bobby.
I you know, I don't know a lot about the Commanders,
but as always, he's out there. I'm cheering for him.

Speaker 2 (20:08):
Yeah. No, It's always been love, you know, no matter
where I'm at whether I'm there or somewhere else, It's
always been loved. If I do something, you know, within
the city, they always show love. And so I'm always
you know, grateful for them and always grateful for the
love that they shown me. And like I said before,
I will forever show that love back, whether it's you know,
when I'm in the city, when I'm out of the city,

(20:29):
it's always a connection with me that I have, you know,
for them to be able to embrace me, h thirteen
years ago and you know still show me that same love.
I'm always connected and they always have a piece of
my heart, and you know, I'll be connected in different ways,
you know, I think as as the years keep going

(20:49):
and hopefully we find a new way to connect.

Speaker 3 (20:52):
No question, I'm sure they'll find many ways connect with
you in a hundred years or whenever you want to
be done playing this game, because you get to play
forever because your body, you don't fall apart. Mister. I
take care of my body. Mister. I was born in
the lab.

Speaker 2 (21:04):
Mister, just drink a lot of water, you know.

Speaker 3 (21:08):
That's that's I don't think that's I don't think that's
the think that's the only now I got. I got
a challenge for you, Seahawks, Mount Rushmore, Bobby Wagner and
what other three?

Speaker 2 (21:23):
Uh Man, I gotta yeah, you're gonna put me in back.

Speaker 3 (21:31):
And you can't say, die line, Die line, Die line dial?

Speaker 2 (21:35):
Can I get five?

Speaker 3 (21:37):
I'll give you five. I give you five about that
said the question, and you took you away. I took
I took one away already. I'll give you two more.

Speaker 2 (21:47):
I'm going you. I'm going Marshan. I think I'm gonna
be biased in this one.

Speaker 3 (21:57):
No question.

Speaker 2 (21:59):
You you Marshan. No, no disrespect to any of the
former players. It's much love, but I just I was
fortunate to play with some really amazing people. So that's
they're gonna be in mind. It's you, Marshawan, cam kJ

(22:20):
and Russ Great and please everybody else. That did I
mentioned is the I only have that many slots.

Speaker 3 (22:27):
I had to look. The Big Three gonna be mad because.

Speaker 2 (22:30):
We asked me. Next week I'll change them, So don't
be mad.

Speaker 3 (22:35):
Look, we know we never did anything before the Big Three.
I know the Big Three is going you know, Clayiff,
Mike and uh and t Matt Big three.

Speaker 2 (22:46):
Mac. Don't be mad at me me, bang, don't be
mad at me, man, it's sony earl.

Speaker 3 (22:53):
Earl Doug Doug. Don't be mad, Dougle's gonna be upset.

Speaker 2 (22:57):
You know, like they didn't even like you know you
can big wall. Don't be mad, you know, large and
don't be mad as you know an rip Corte. It
was a lot of grace. There's so many grace, man,
there's so many grace to say, So just minimize that.
I think they do it like a top fifty or something.

Speaker 3 (23:18):
Do you remember that one time we played basketball and
you you entered the game at an offensive file. When
are we going to run that game back? You know,
in a way that's more fair of an ending, you
know that doesn't end in controversy per se.

Speaker 2 (23:33):
I remember mind my own business, and I remember being
challenged to play basketball, and I remember going into a
hostile environment, that being your home, and you know, it's
very big place, a lot of a lot of scenery,
a lot of animals. I think your family was there.

(23:55):
There was a lot of things stacked against me, and
you know, ref was in your favor. He just wasn't
in your favorite that one. You know, sometimes you gotta
do your push ups. You can run, you get to do.

Speaker 3 (24:07):
I still got the footage if there was an offensive file.
You know, we slowed the tape down. You can see
your shoulder, you know what I mean, dipping down, you know,
and and clearly you know I it's.

Speaker 2 (24:16):
A basketball movement. It's the basketball movement. Lebron does it
all the time. You're not You're not Lebron the sing
I am. It seems like you're putting yourself in it.
I'm playing you just.

Speaker 3 (24:29):
Saying, well, you know, I've been working on my three
point shot, and you know, I'm not going to brag
that it's it's falling at a at a at at
least a twenty three percent kill. But it's just fall about.

Speaker 2 (24:42):
But I wasn't guarding you, and so that probably brings
it down to like nine percent.

Speaker 3 (24:49):
I don't know about that math I got. I'm gonna
check check on that math. I'm about to go out
in the back. You know kind of ordeal I was good.

Speaker 2 (25:00):
I mean, you could have a basketball league in your backyard,
for sure.

Speaker 3 (25:03):
No no, no, no. See now you're going somewhere that we
weren't going.

Speaker 2 (25:08):
If y'all think of just hosting a basketball tournament. You know,
there's there's land that that Richard knows about and he
can host at least like fifty four teams. Wow, twenty five. Wow.

Speaker 3 (25:22):
A lot of teams can't host host that many maybe
maybe not zero zero. Actually, how long are you going
to play? Because I mean at this point, like you
look great. You know, I know you're not a PFF guy,
but your PFF six rated linebacker. And I remember a
team draft team picked up a few linebackers because they

(25:45):
were PFF graded and it was the grades that they
But that's the story for a different day. But you're
you're playing at a high level. I'm not injecting you
into controversy, but you're playing at a high level. You've
been playing at a high level. You continue to play.
What's going through your mind in some of these games?

(26:05):
You know? I mean are you motivated by you know,
people saying you fell off? You know, sometimes you need that.

Speaker 2 (26:12):
I think it's just fun being around this group. I
think playing with Frankie Lousvu has been amazing.

Speaker 3 (26:19):
Obviously, Oh he looks like he insane out there.

Speaker 2 (26:22):
That he's man, his energy is just contagious. What he's
been able to do on the fields just been amazing
to be a part of. Obviously Jaden what he's been
amazing to do, like this culture and you know, being
around these guys have been been cool to be a
part of. And you know, wanting to be a part
of building something which is cool. But yeah, honestly, I

(26:42):
just keep playing. Man, You keep playing. You really don't
think about the end. You let it go. Obviously, I'm
here this year and I keep you know, want to
play at a high level, and then you continue to
figure out what that looks like. Obviously there's business, more
business evolved now, more financials and things of that nature.
That plays a part in everything. But I'm I'm happy

(27:04):
where I'm mad and I'm happy with how things are going.

Speaker 3 (27:08):
Do you get to do anything, because you know, I'm
more motivated by the slide, you know me. They told
me I fell off and I was like, yeah, yeah,
but you know, Bobby's way calmer and and you know,
internally motivated.

Speaker 2 (27:21):
Do you have I have moments? Is your cameras catch
your moments? They don't really catch my moments? Right?

Speaker 3 (27:28):
I was about to say, like you said, you in
the city, so you feel you find yourself going doing
more things, walking to places and and and just like
kind of like get getting the experience.

Speaker 2 (27:39):
Yeah, I mean, like I said, I haven't spent so
much time on the East Coast. So if I come
all the way over here and spend the majority of
my time in the house, I just think it's it's
you know, not the best thing to do. And so
I try to get out and try to walk to
places that I like to eat or whatever as much
as I can, you know, I try to go out
with the guys as much as I can't just experience everything.

Speaker 3 (27:58):
And you're hanging out, bro, I get if you give me.

Speaker 2 (28:02):
The word, I come out. If it's just on some
random stuff, I might stay. But nah, it's been cool.
I think the energy and even being in the city.
You know, I haven't been in a city like this,
and so to see the love and have that conversation
where you walk up to somebody and they say like,
man like, thank you forgiving me giving me something to
look forward to. You know, we've been wanting this so

(28:24):
bad and to see you guys care and and uh,
you know provide that for us. And it's it's been cool.
So that that part has been cool too.

Speaker 3 (28:33):
Yeah, I bet, I bet. I mean it's been a
long time since they had something to cheer for.

Speaker 2 (28:37):
It.

Speaker 3 (28:37):
This team looks it looks good and it doesn't look
it looks like it's built the right way of the
right people. And you know DQ, I knew DQ when
he got in there that he was gonna build it
the right way. You guys are obviously lost a big
piece to the puzzle. Uh in your tackle Jonathan Allen,
it went down. Just just talk about him and that

(28:58):
and and just how important he will us and how
how that injury like change things for you are just
you know, next man up mentality, I know how that goes.
But he just seems like one of those guys that's
been here and been a foundational piece part of this
organization for so long that that would have to sing
a little bit.

Speaker 2 (29:15):
Yeah, for sure, because first of all, he's an amazing
leader and a guy that, like you said, been around
for been around here for a long time, and so
he's been through the ups and downs and things like that,
and so uh, you know, you you look at a
guy like that and you want to win for him
and you want to have success for for him because

(29:36):
he's he's seen it all from this organization standpoint, and
so losing him definitely hurt. You know, you definitely want
to play for him. He's a big piece on on
the field as well. You know, he's very disruptive, and
so we just you know, find a way to to
you know, develop the guys younger than him and lean
on deep pain and and uh just continue to you know,

(29:59):
figure out how we can keep to sing on.

Speaker 3 (30:01):
Well. I love it, man.

Speaker 2 (30:02):
It looks like you're having fun out there. You're still
having fun, still having fun. So that's that's the thing
with me. If that has not become fun, then I
that's that's my time. But it's still fun.

Speaker 3 (30:11):
Yeah, it looks like it looks like it. And you
got Norton. I'm sure he's having a good time. I
can't wait to see him when we get youall game,
uh in Philly, I get to see Norton and you know,
telling you know, because the mind how to control the body.
But I don't know if you understood that.

Speaker 2 (30:26):
They don't. You guys don't understand.

Speaker 3 (30:28):
Don't let the body control the mind.

Speaker 2 (30:31):
The mind controls the body.

Speaker 3 (30:33):
That's that's it's greatness.

Speaker 2 (30:35):
Man. It's something so small and like it was probably
like he was like joking a little bit, but like
the the depth of that meaning is it's so crazy
that that people just don't understand.

Speaker 3 (30:48):
And he's so consistent with the messaging that it's pretty
much just etched in your head.

Speaker 2 (30:52):
Yeah, and so you just he just you look at him.
He just do this. He's just like, I'm tripping. Let
me lock inlet be locky. Yeah.

Speaker 3 (31:02):
I love it, man, I love it.

Speaker 2 (31:03):
Well.

Speaker 3 (31:03):
I ain't gonna take too much more of y'all day.
I know you got things to do, people to see this, this,
meetings to go to when, things of that nature. But
I appreciate you sparing some time for your boy. I'm
gonna check in with you later on in the season.

Speaker 2 (31:15):
Bring your best fit man for Thursday.

Speaker 3 (31:18):
Yeah, I'm gonna bring. I'm gonna bring some good for you,
some nice man. Yeah, I'm gonna bring some super nice
not you know what I mean. I know it ain't
nothing out of your collection. You know, I ain't on
that level yet, but probably something right here not here.

Speaker 2 (31:29):
Yeah, I still you know, I still get other people's stuff.
You have your own stuff, you know what I mean?

Speaker 3 (31:35):
You got other people stuff like Jordan does Jordan's sen
y'all suits every year? Like which Jordan's Are you wearing
any games right now? Is it the three?

Speaker 2 (31:42):
I think I will wear the period this week? But elevens?
Elevens are my favorite. Eleven my favorite.

Speaker 3 (31:50):
So there are a lot of sneaker heads that will
go to your closet and pass out because of all
the quality shoes you have and look at.

Speaker 2 (31:59):
You and then they be mad because half of them
they're not worn and he's saving for a special occasion.
They're just like, man, when you're gonna bring these out?

Speaker 3 (32:07):
What what? What? What occasion? You say, I don't know,
I don't know.

Speaker 2 (32:10):
We gotta figure out.

Speaker 3 (32:12):
No, no, no, I want you to figure it out now.

Speaker 2 (32:16):
I don't take peer pressure very well, so you're not
gonna do that to me. Huh well, another life lesson
for the kids out there. Let nobody peer pressure you
do anything.

Speaker 3 (32:27):
Right, right, Don't let your friends peer pressure you and
to telling them where you're gonna wear the shoes that
you're probably never gonna wear because they're just sitting in
your closet. Kids wear your shoes, the shoes where.

Speaker 2 (32:37):
Especially if you have your Richard Sherman's.

Speaker 3 (32:41):
Okay, and also pick. Remember to be careful how you
pick your friends.

Speaker 2 (32:46):
I still have my fear.

Speaker 3 (32:50):
I wish you would send me a pair of Jordan's.
I gotta buy him from the store. I just that's
not true. I've been here, Closset you have. You have
some George's too, Yeah, Jordan's. You have Kobe's that's never
been seen before. Hey, hey, don't bring the mama into this.

Speaker 2 (33:02):
We're saying. You got your own slippers with your face
on it. You got your own shoes. You know what
I'm saying. It's crazy.

Speaker 3 (33:10):
This isn't about me.

Speaker 2 (33:11):
Between you and Besmore. You know I can't keep up.

Speaker 3 (33:15):
You got your own venture fun. So let's not get crazy.
We're talking about shoes. You got your own venture, got
his own fun.

Speaker 2 (33:25):
No about me? About me? Rich Stern podcast?

Speaker 3 (33:33):
Yeah, yeah, about Bobby Wagner. How much jewelry do you own?
Bob Jewy?

Speaker 2 (33:40):
I don't own son, I own watches account. I got
my watch.

Speaker 3 (33:45):
Collation is pretty h pretty nice. We're gonna talk about this.
You got a brightling yet?

Speaker 2 (33:51):
Huh?

Speaker 3 (33:52):
You got brightling?

Speaker 2 (33:53):
I won't prefer to not what I have.

Speaker 3 (33:55):
Okay, so now now we're not talking. Well, I only
say this to make it like this. No, I don't
have nothing knowing right now.

Speaker 2 (34:02):
Oh okay, okay, I.

Speaker 3 (34:03):
Gotta go get my brightling and I need to go
put it on. I just finished running, I.

Speaker 2 (34:06):
Got I got a couple of lesces, I got some aps,
some paddicks.

Speaker 3 (34:11):
You know, well, you're gonna have to get a Seahawks
brightening because they're doing a deal with every team. I'll
show you when I get mine. I'm ana ware. I'm
gonna wear that game. I'm gonna wear that game.

Speaker 2 (34:22):
They say less.

Speaker 3 (34:23):
You can see they left ye for me. I'm gonna
put you on the guy. I think that's gonna be sweet. Yeah.
They only make it one hundred and four of them,
so you got to get yours. Why why they last
one hundred and four? Well, they just did a deal
with the NFL. It's their first year licensing with them,
and so they're trying to make sure it's a limited edition.
So they're just making a one hundred and four each team.

(34:45):
So yeah, yeah, that's just something they're doing. Well again,
I'm gonna let you what you're about to go do now,
you you know, keep your routine, go go into the facility.

Speaker 2 (34:53):
Yeah, probably gonna yoga. I got yoga, and then uh

Speaker 3 (35:00):

Speaker 1 (35:14):
