Speaker 1 (00:25):
Where Colin was right, Where Colin was wrong. On a Monday,
where Colin was right, I said, for years, can somebody
just give Justin Herbert the right coach? He'll be magnificent.
Eleven touchdowns, one pick. I also said, I think Jim
Harball is on a short list of the greatest football
coaches we've ever had in the Jimmy Johnson, Belichick, Andy Reid, Colleger,

(00:45):
pro doesn't matter. He has literally changed the entire franchise
in the culture in ten weeks. This was something we said.
I thought the Chargers, just with a coaching change and
a couple of draft picks, could go from the worst
team in the league to eleven wins. And here we
are where Colin was rough. I thought Kayleb Williams would
have rough spots. I didn't think it would dissolve into this.

(01:09):
It is a mess. Some of it's on him. Listen,
all of his weaknesses are coming to the surface, and
his straints. They apparently as a staff can't coach him up,
but guys off a by his passer rating last three
weeks is sixty four. Like he's completing in that we're
getting to the t bow category like fifty four percent.
Like it's again he's a rookie quarterback. I didn't think

(01:31):
it was gonna be pretty. I didn't think it would
ever look like.

Speaker 2 (01:34):
This where Colin was right.

Speaker 1 (01:37):
I told you you better not fire Robert sala He
is the best coach by a long shot on that staff,
and the defense has gotten worse. I also said this
would not be a playoff team. Aaron Rodgers is talented.
He's not a savior. Lamar Jackson's good enough to win
you games you shouldn't. Aaron Rodgers at this point is
a forty year old off Achille surgery. Even lamb year

(02:00):
is last year in Green Bay. He wasn't a dominant player.
The Jets are worse than I thought, but I never
saw him as a playoff team. Where Colin was raw.
The Georgia Bulldogs with a dud. They got hammered by
Old Miss. They're just a really uneven football team. And
you take out Lad McConkie and Brock Bauers and Carson Beck,

(02:20):
He's just a guy. Even with their talent seventeen touchdowns,
twelve picks, they don't protect the passer particularly well. Listen.
Old Miss is a good team. There's no shame in
losing to Ole Miss and Lane Kiffen. But Georgia is
a much more uneven football team than I thought they were.
Where Colin was right, I said last two weeks. If

(02:41):
I was the Cowboys, I would go with a soft tank.
I think this is a three win team that should
end up with four. They put Trey Lanton in the
third quarter. I think Jerry sees it. There's no point here.
Look at the games remaining. I don't think he'll be Carolina.
Keep your eye on the injury list. I think Dallas
pulls starters yesterday, no reason to get people hurt. I'm
not sure if I played Micah Parsons from this point out,

(03:04):
I'm dead serious. I think this team is eight to
nine players away from being as good as Detroit, Philadelphia, Baltimore.
I don't think they're close. And you saw it yesterday
where Colin was right, Colorado second place in the Big twelve.
The minute I called them the fake idea of college football,
they apparently turned twenty one. They're getting into the club legitimately.

(03:24):
Now they're over five Dion Sanders is over five hundred.
Deserves total credit because remember how bad the first year was.
They're throwing tortillas of truth apparently at them. They beat
Texas Tech. Listen, they do a lot of things right.
Warren sap tip of the captain, Warren sapp as defensive
line coach. That's been like the issue in the program.

(03:46):
They've got that solved. So I like Shadoor Sanders, that's
never been the question. I thought this program was a
lot of sizzle, not a lot of steak. They got both.

Speaker 2 (03:54):
Now where Colin was right.

Speaker 1 (03:56):
You know, I love me some bo Nicks. I kept
saying when he was struggling early. He's good. There's some
Drew Brees here. He's mobile, he's poised, he's efficient. He's
not making the mistakes he did early. He had a
great final drive and that's a real Kansas City defense here.
He's not making the mistakes he was I think this
kid can really play. This is not a great roster,
and that is a great Kansas City roster. That final

(04:19):
drive is an indication that the Denver Broncos and Sean
Payton they found their guy. He may not have the
upside of blah blah blah, but I'm telling you from efficiency, smarts, mobility,
he's athletic. They got their.

Speaker 2 (04:32):
Guy where Colin was raw.

Speaker 1 (04:35):
The Warriors are eight and two, the number one rebounding
team in the league. They're better defensively now without Klay Thompson.
I didn't think they'd be a playoff team. They're playing
twelve players, so Steph Curry is fresher, They're better defensively.
They just they're deep. A twelve man rotation is unheard
of in the NBA. They've beaten both the Celtics and OKAC.

(04:57):
Those are my picks for the two best teams in
the league, the teams and the team that'll meet in
the finals. So I didn't think they were a playoff team.
I thought they should just start over. But their depth,
their freshness, Steph isn't having to play forty minutes tonight.
I was wrong on the Warriors so far.

Speaker 2 (05:12):
Where Colin was right.

Speaker 1 (05:14):
Love me some Kyler Murray seventeen straight completions. I've said,
I think he's a better version of Russell Wilson in
his prime. He's a better athlete, and Russell was a
great athlete. I think the kid throws the prettiest ball
in the league this year, seventy percent completions during the
four game winning streak, seven touchdowns. You tell me, how
do you defend him? I mean, it's just he is

(05:34):
one of those guys that if you're a defensive coordinator,
there's no complete answer to how to stop him. And
now he's got Harrison and McBride and Connor. Give this
organization credit, but it all starts with Kyler Murray. I
know the video game stuff. I know, maybe he's not coachable.
Well you know what, maybe it was the people that left.
They can't all be on the kid. I've loved him

(05:55):
for years. I've supported him. I hear the critics, but
when I watch games with him starting, and you watch
him and Aaron Rodgers, it doesn't look like the same sport.
I mean, that kid's energy, that kid's mobility, that kid's
accuracy even when he's running, is something special.

Speaker 2 (06:13):

Speaker 3 (06:20):
Heard Hierarchy Time go the top ten NFL teams according
to College Number ten.

Speaker 1 (06:27):
Listen the Commander's reality struck Jaden Daniels fifty percent completion
percentage only two hundred and forty two yards. They were
the second best team in the field. Even getting a
botched fake punt. They couldn't win, But I think between
coaching and Jaden Daniels, they will somehow sneak into the playoffs.
May not win. I thought this weekend was sort of

(06:49):
a reality check on what they are a little too
young quarterback, but they are the number three scoring offense.
But now they've lost in the Steelers and the Ravens
and Tampa, and they were healthy. They're about the tenth
best team in the league. Number nine Arizona Cardinals. I've
never trusted him. I sort of kind of do now.
They scored on five straight drives to open the game

(07:10):
against the Jets, four of them seventy plus yards. They're
patient offensively, and they've really figured out the defense. They
stopped the Chargers offense when they came to town. He completed
seventeen straight passes at one point. I've been saying all year,
I love their weapons. Do I trust the franchise upstairs ownership,
Not really, But I will say in terms of offensive talent, receiver,

(07:32):
tight end, back, tackle, quarterback, they're really really good, really
really good. That went over the Niners in Santa Clara
was not a fluke. Number eight the Niners because Christian
McCaffrey's back by an inch over Arizona. Five different players
had fifty plus receiving yards. And that's without Brandon a
youth the rest of the year. So they're sprinkling around.

(07:53):
Ricky Piersoll's making an impact here, Deebo. The Jets sweeps
don't work as well, but they've got some nice target
George by the way, like old Gronk Kelsey, you think
he's gone. No, No, he's not. They're four and zero
when brock Perty doesn't turn it over, meaning the margins
have gotten very thin for them. Kansas City doesn't have

(08:15):
to play perfect to win San Francisco kind of does.
They got lucky this weekend. Number seven the Steelers. I
was wrong. I admitted I thought this organization was tone
deaf to offense. They have the number. They are a
great second half team. They are on a four game
winning streak. Russell Wilson has brought the deep ball back.

(08:35):
They don't make mistakes. It's like the Seahawks. Light, tough
at home, physical defensive culture, nice run game, quarterback that
moves and over the top. Now they can burn you
if you don't play him. Honest, I was wrong. Number
two scoring defense. I think this team's a playoff team.
I missed on them. Steelers at seven. Number six a

(08:57):
team that reminds me of a lesser version of the Chiefs.
The Chargers great coach, great quarterback, good enough offensive line,
little light on weapons, excellent defense. Are they as good
situationally as the Chiefs? Nobody in the world is. But
they have had five plus sacks in three straight games.
It is remarkable. This was the worst defense in the

(09:18):
league last year. Same players. They bring in Jesse Minter
and a new head coach. They've had talent, They've had
talent for years. Finally Herbert has help. Number five. I'll
give it to the Eagles. They're five and zero since
the buy three straight road wins by twenty plus points.
I think they have the best roster in the League

(09:38):
better than Detroit because I think three of their best
young players defensively are all kids. They're all you know,
Mitchell the cornerback from Toledo, Jalen Carter, Dean from Georgia.
This team is stacked. This roster has great players that
are older, great players in their prime Philadelphia, and great
young players. I don't think there's any roster as good

(09:59):
as Phillladelphia. Their six to zh one A. J. Brown
plays Philadelphia Eagles at number.

Speaker 2 (10:06):
Five, number four.

Speaker 1 (10:07):
The Ravens. Here's what I love about their story. Remember
the Lamar can't pass in the pocket wrong, Lamar can't
play from behind. Yeah, they have three wins this year,
trailing by ten plus points. Their issue is they are
so bad in the secondary that they can outplay you.
Remember the Raiders came from behind to beat them. This

(10:28):
team is so bad on the back end. You don't
have to be great everywhere in the NFL. You can't
be terrible anywhere. You saw last night the Rams Corners.
They have to draft one in the first second, third round,
first third. They don't have a second round pick, but Baltimore.
I love the growth of Lamar. I love them offensively,
but that back end is an issue. I have them

(10:48):
at four. Number three the Lions by an inch. Seven
game winning streak. Jared Goff is having the season for
all seasons. Actually, I don't love or trust their defense,
but on third down their defense is excellent, only allowing
a thirty one percent conversion rate. They played poorly and
one on the road on Sunday Night football. I think

(11:10):
I respect him now more than ever, but I don't
necessarily trust them situationally as much as I do with
Kansas City. Team Number two the Bills. Now they're all
banged up a wide receiver. I think Kansas City's gonna
beat him this weekend, but they lead the NFL and
plus thirteen turnover differential that's come back when healthy. I
like their receiving core. Don't love it, but I like

(11:31):
it now. Amari Cooper, Keon Coleman, Dalton Kinkaid may not
play for Kansas City. That spells trouble, but I think
this is the best version of Buffalo. Doesn't mean they're
going to beat the Chiefs, but it's the best version
of it. Not as much reckless, more balance offensively, still

(11:52):
well coached defensively. Number one, fifteen game winning streak, dating
back to last season. I think it's the best third
down offense. It's the best situational team since the Brady
Belichick Bucks. I think they're actually a little better at
wide receiver than anybody wants to admit. D Hop, Juju
Smith Schuster, Travis Kelcey, Kareem Hunt can catch out of

(12:13):
the backfield. Isaiah Cheko's coming back. So I think the offense.
I mean, if they had Rashi Rice right now, they
wouldn't have d Hop, and I think they'd be fine.
They're a little better at receiver than last year in
the year before. I don't think it's an emergency. But
I also think all those young defensive players now are
a bit older and wiser. I think it's the best
team in the league. Their defense is not allowed a
single point when trailing in the fourth quarter of this season.

(12:36):
So when you're great, sometimes it's hard to stay focused.
But when you need their defense to be great, and
when you need them to block a kick and when
you need a goal line stand, they are off the charts.
There is our herd hierarchy Green Bay. I have at eleven,
didn't watch them play, moved them back. I like what
I saw with the Commanders.

Speaker 1 (13:01):
He began his career as a grad assistant Michigan State
under Nick Saban Bill Belichick. Six trophies there several seasons
NFL head coach Broncos and Raiders. Josh McDaniels is now
joining us. We've never officially met. I think we've You
may have come on before when you were the Raiders coach.
You were coming on the zoom time during COVID, that
kind of stuff. I got so many things to ask you.

(13:22):
Let's start with this. So we watched these young quarterbacks.
I tended to think I thought Peyton and Boenix was
a good fit. I worried greatly about Caleb in Chicago's history.
If you were just privately talking how many starts, Josh,
do you need with a rookie quarterback before you are
driving home and maybe calling an assistant thinking I'm not

(13:45):
sure we got him, or he'll be fine, we got him.

Speaker 4 (13:48):
I think you need to give a time. I think
there's no question you know, a few games here or
there is not going to tell you all the things
you need to know about whether or not he's going
to be able to do all the things he needs
to do to win at this level.

Speaker 3 (14:02):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (14:02):
I mean Jimmy was not going to be ready right
off the bat three years in in twenty sixteen, you know,
he had to start in Tom's absence, and he was
able to do that. He learned and developed and was
much more ready to do that then. I think they're
all different now, honestly, they're all coming from different backgrounds,

(14:22):
some different systems than others. And then I think it
really what matters most is that marriage of the quarterback.
What he's learned, what he's good at, where is he going,
what type of system are they going to implement implement
there with him, and whether they're willing to adapt to
his skill set and what he does well.

Speaker 3 (14:43):
You know that.

Speaker 4 (14:44):
I think you're seeing some of that now with Jaden
with yeah, definitely, and they're doing things that he's good at,
you know. And I think what Cliff's probably you know,
doing now is is what else can we add to
his bucket? You know, he does these things well, now
we want to keep develop him, you know, evolve him
as he goes throughout you know, his his career here

(15:05):
and and see what else we can add to him.

Speaker 1 (15:07):
Do you worry about Caleb Williams Accuracy, inconsistency? Are there
things you can't clean up?

Speaker 4 (15:15):
I think you can. You can always make things better.
And I haven't seen everything that Caleb has done. Certainly,
Caleb was, you know, very well regarded coming out of
USC and had a great career there. And I think
all all these young quarterbacks come out and they find
life in the NFL is a little different. The windows

(15:35):
are tighter, yeah, the coverages are different, the looks, the
disguises force you to hold the ball and and have
to do different things with it. And so I think,
you know, give them time. You know, you know they're
going to make some mistakes, they're going to learn.

Speaker 3 (15:49):
Uh.

Speaker 4 (15:49):
And again, I know they just made a shift or
a change there, and we'll see if that changes some
of the success that he's having.

Speaker 1 (15:58):
You know, it's I've said this over the last month,
the Chiefs have become the Patriots. I'm not sure they
have the best roster, but I'm sure they have the
best head coach, best quarterback and one of the best
coordinators on either side that was you. I'm also sure Situationally,
they are smarter than you are. That's what you guys

(16:18):
were for twenty years. You'd bring out that Edelman pass
against the Ravengine, You're like, how did they not use
that six weeks ago? That's a beauty, that's a gem
and you had to hide it? What it was? It
just you and Brady and Bill? Is it just people?
The Chiefs have become you guys. They're not always the
best team, but they literally played their best football goal
line stand late third down? Yeap, what is it? What's

(16:42):
your meal? Last field goal? Yeah, they could have done
that in the first quarter. Yeah, they hid that puppy
until the last play of the game.

Speaker 2 (16:48):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (16:49):
I think they care about winning they I think they
have a lot of guys that are selfless there. And Andy,
you know, he's obviously been doing this for a long
time and he's got that entire callulture, you know, buying
into winnings the only thing that's really important at the
end of the day. And you saw it with Kelsey
early in the year. Wasn't catching a lot of passes.

(17:10):
But you didn't hear about any bickering or complaining or
anything like that, because I think they've really figured out.
You know, what's most important is how do we play
as a team against this opponent this week and be victorious.
And so I think Pat's matured. He understands what he
needs to do each week. Some weeks it's throw forty
six times for three hundred and fifty yards. Other weeks

(17:32):
that's throw for one hundred and fifty yards and one touchdown.

Speaker 3 (17:35):
You know.

Speaker 4 (17:35):
But Patrick's kind of put his ego aside, not that
he ever had one like that, but he knows that
I have to play a certain way to give our
team the best chance to win. I thought Tom did
that for years and years in New England. And it's
just gonna be hard to beat them. You know, you're
gonna have to play your a game. You're gonna have
to be really good situationally, really, you know, really good situationally,

(17:57):
and you're gonna have to, you know, fight two nail
to out coach them, you know, which is very difficult
for anybody to do.

Speaker 1 (18:05):
Owners are all billionaires now, Robert Kraft, like Jerry Jones
when they bought the Patriots, I mean they were bailing
water to just make rent right there. Now they're all billionaires.
Firing a staff as a rounding air moving off coaches
David Tepper and Carolina five six games in Robert Salacia,
it feels like owner's wealth has created more of an

(18:30):
impulsive feel and that staffs are feeling it. Staffs are
tougher staffs. Did you never felt that in New England?
But you probably felt it with the Raiders. Do you
think it's affecting coaching in this league? You're forced to
be impatient because they're impatient.

Speaker 4 (18:48):
I think you definitely have an urgency that you feel
now in the league. I don't know you're right about
the New England situation. I never felt that I felt
urgency to do my best. I think we all did
to try to win. But I think you're seeing that
more and more that there's a very short shelf life
on opportunity and the urgency to do well and show

(19:09):
that you know exactly how to improve and make progress.
It's it's evident. You know, it's evident across the league,
and whether it's quarterback changes, coaching changes, coordinator changes, that's
certainly part of our game. Now we all have to
accept that we all understand the life that we live
and you know it. I hope it doesn't affect decision

(19:31):
making and things that you think are the right things
to do for the organization. But I certainly I know
there's a premium on winning quickly, that's for sure.

Speaker 1 (19:39):
I always defended when you and Tom would have the
once a season blow up on the sidelines. My take is,
I mean, really, three and a half hours, it's on television.
I'm on television. There are public jobs. It's not always pretty.
You're doing stuff live. I can't hide in an accountant's
office during the week, though. With you and Tom, when
would you present the game plan a give and take,

(20:01):
a back and forth, or would you present the install
on Tuesday Wednesday? Tom goes along with it? Did Tom
push back a lot on installs?

Speaker 4 (20:08):
I think the more Tom played, the more success he had,
the more he understood what he liked and what he
didn't like. It certainly became a huge back and forth
for us. I mean I have emails that are pages
and pages long of things that he liked and things
that he didn't like, you know, and that's I think

(20:29):
that's what you have to do nowadays, is when you
know the quarterback has has thoughts and opinions and ideas
of what he feels good about. Yeah, you certainly have
to take all that in and then try to figure
out exactly what's the right blend of things that fit
that week against that team. And Tommy was not shy
about giving input on those kind of things, and he

(20:51):
earned it, earned every bit of it. And so we
usually would be emailing on Monday, Tuesday, and then obviously
we practice Ondesday there's a and try to nail it down,
but we were emailing on Friday night and Saturday morning
as well to try to finalize the game plan. And
I just think that, you know, when you have a
guy like him, Pat Mahomes, Alan Lamar, you know, these

(21:13):
guys that have certainly had a tremendous amount of individual
success team success, they've earned the right to give you
their input, and you need to take that input in
and try to figure out how to utilize it the
best way.

Speaker 1 (21:25):
Bill had admiration and great respect for you, brought you back.
Obviously you had great success together. How often on the
headset would Bill say, Josh, you're not doing that reverse here, Josh,
we're running the football or did he give you carte blanche?

Speaker 4 (21:40):
He was really good about letting you kind of get
into the rhythm and flow the game. He may say, hey,
can you stick a run in here? I want to
get it down to the two minute warning, something like
that situation. Or he would say, hey, you got four
downs here to get the first down. You know it's
third and three and you know at a thirty seven,
Hey you got two downs. Go ahead and try to

(22:00):
do whatever you want to do here. But he definitely
did a great job of just guiding us. You know,
he didn't overdo it on the headset. It's hard to
do that, you know, when you got a guy in
a rhythm, he's calling plays, he's trying to set things up,
it's hard to really interject too much. And I thought
Bill was great at that.

Speaker 1 (22:16):
Did he ever say after a game you were great?

Speaker 2 (22:20):
I don't know if he ever said that.

Speaker 4 (22:22):
He might have patted me on the back once or twice,
but you knew when you knew when you did a
good job. He definitely let you know that. In certain ways,
might not have been the way somebody else did it,
but he did.

Speaker 1 (22:33):
Okay, you felt respected.

Speaker 3 (22:34):
I did. I did.

Speaker 1 (22:36):
I'd love to have you back anytime you're around families
in town. I know your dad you said, occasionally watches
the show, and he must be bored out of his mind.
I appreciate that. Hi Dad, Josh McDaniels, please come again.

Speaker 4 (22:51):
Thank you?

Speaker 1 (22:52):
All right, appreciate it.

Speaker 2 (22:53):
Be sure to catch live editions of The Herd weekdays
and noon eastern am Pacific on Fox Sports Radio one
and the iHeartRadio app.

Speaker 1 (23:02):
All right, here we go, off a bad week, off
a rough week of blazing five.

Speaker 3 (23:07):
Let's blaze it up, right up. It's Collins Blazing five.
Ravens at Steelers.

Speaker 1 (23:13):
I'm gonna take Pittsburgh plus three and a half at home.
This is a battle for first place. They've won seven
of eight games against the Ravens, all decided by one possession.
I'm taking more than a field goal. Russell Wilson, let's
not get ourselves here. I don't care what you think
about him. Third highest passer rating in the NFL this
season and a perfect passer rating in the fourth quarter.
He's been money. He's been tremendous, latent games. And they

(23:36):
have a great defense, number two scoring defense Baltimore. Even
if they outplay you, the back end is awful. Lamar.
Against the Steelers, he's been bad. He's been bad. And
by the way, this team at eleven penalties trailed the
Bengals at half. They keep games close even when they
outplayed teams because of that defense on the back end.

(23:56):
I like the Steelers upset win in a great ride
twenty eight to twenty seven. And you know I love
the Ravens Colts, said Jet. I'm taking the Colts plus four.
The Jets shouldn't be favored over over Georgia by four,
gid God, they're awful. The Colts get Anthony Richardson Beck,
He's explosive. The Jets struggled with Kyler Murray. The defense

(24:17):
for the Colts top ten scoring defense. It's Week six,
and I like their offensive line. I think they'll run
the football and play keep away. The Jets are one
in six over their last seven. If you go to
since Week four and look at the Jets stats, what
do they do well? Their defense is twenty six rank,
their offense Aaron Rodgers twenty ninth in completion percentage since

(24:38):
Week four, fifteen points a game. How can they be
favored by four over anybody? I'm not sure the locker
room has gott an me juice in it. I think
the Colts this is a desperation spot for this team.
I like the Colts to win. I'll take the points
twenty four to twenty three, Browns at Sack. I can't
believe I'm doing this. I'm taking Jamis Winston on the

(24:59):
road minus one. I like Cleveland here. Listen. Jameis Winston
is a yard a game better in one hundred yards
total offense, better than Deshaun Watson. He's a little goofy.
He throws some picks, but it's like a real offense.
Stefanski extra West coming off a bye. Clever offensive coach.
Keep your eye on Cedric Tillman. He's emerging as a
young star. Wide receiver. Miles Garrett had three sacks against

(25:22):
the Chargers. He still dominates. The Saints are a mess.
One in seven over their last eight. The defense has
allowed twenty four plays of thirty yards or more. They
surrender a ton of big plays. The Saints defense since
Week three has gone in to the tank. Latimore's now gone.
He's off to Washington. I think the Browns win this game.

(25:44):
Jameis Winston makes me excited. If you're a Browns fan,
He's fun to watch. Twenty eight twenty four Browns she said, Bills,
you're giving me Patrick Mahomes and points. He's got a
fifteen game winning streak. They are missing Harrison, Butker they're
a great kicker. Jmack points that out. Maybe that's a thing,
but Malmes, Patrick Mahomes has been great against this team.

(26:06):
Fifteen touchdowns, five picks and DeAndre Hopkins. Wow, before he
got there, the Chiefs gave you two hundred and thirty
one yards passing. Now they give you two hundred and
seventy three yards passing. The passer rating has gone from
eighty two pre d Hop Mahomes passer rating now is
one oh two with d Hop. It's a different offense

(26:28):
and this worries me. The offense three straight games for
the Bills season high in pass attempts. They're doing what
I hate, becoming very Josh Allen reliant. And because of that,
now he's got four picks Josh Allen does in the
last three games. Phil's also have seventeen different players on
the injury report. They're not going to have coleman Kin,

(26:50):
Cater Cooper potentially. I am taking the d Hop Mahomes,
Travis Kelsey, Chiefs and the points twenty eight to twenty.

Speaker 2 (26:58):
Seven Bengals at Chargers.

Speaker 1 (27:01):
I like Cincinnati here offensive coach Joe Burrow with extra rest.
They played in a Thursday. Now they don't have to
play till Monday. Five of their six losses by six
points or fewer, a more desperate team. Joe Burrow leads
the NFL in passing yards, touchdown passes second, and passerready.
Burrow's having an unbelievable season. And by the way, do

(27:23):
you know the Bengals have the leader in passing yards Burrow,
receiving yard Jamar Chase, and defensive sacks Hendrickson. They're top heavy,
but they got playmakers. And the Chargers three wins have
come against the Saints, Browns, and Titans. On this winning streak,
I worry, and the Chargers do not have the big
play offense that burns Cincinnati twentieth. Are the Chargers in

(27:47):
big plays? This feels like an upset. I'm gonna take
the Bengals. I don't like the Chargers in this spot.
Twenty four to twenty for the records. I do not
bet huge spreads. It's my number one rule. If I
had to bet the Lions at home minus fourteen against

(28:09):
the Jags, I would take the Lions. They played poorly
in one. That's a great time for a coaching staff
to coach a team hard when you win but you
play lousy football for three quarters. I think Dan Campbell's
team will come out totally focused. Lions will blow them
out against Mac Jones, Blazing five, Jay Mack, anything there

(28:29):
you liked. I just noticed four underdog stun wow Old
getting aggressive
