Speaker 1 (00:01):
The volume. All Right, guys, this November twentieth, I'm finally home,
so you know what time it is. That means it's
the new three rounds for you. So I'm excited as always. Guys,
(00:22):
we have been on an absolute mission. But it feels
good to be home and it feels good to be
right back to business. So if the travel was the
training camp, it's time to get to the fight.
Speaker 2 (00:33):
Let's go.
Speaker 1 (00:38):
Experiencing wrong one. So bow Nickel is a bit upset
with the commentary during the fight last week. So I
gotta be honest, This one kind of took me a
little bit by surprise because I do like Bull and
I do believe that at some point he's gonna be
a champion. But both said that he took offence to
(01:04):
the commentary, but I think he's a little misguided.
Speaker 2 (01:08):
So this is what he said.
Speaker 1 (01:10):
He said that when he watched the fight back, something
that was a little disappointing was a commentary and just
kind of hearing the way that they were looking at
the fight. So to hear things like DC say, oh,
he's not ready for Hamzad, I think he was trying
to be respectful. This is Bo being Bo because he's
a nice kid, but I also think like maybe they
(01:32):
were trying to set me down a peg. It was
just weird to hear. But I just feel like people
that I know that are in my corner and would
give me honest, genuine feedback. They're very happy with the victory.
I was happy with the victory, so that's what I
really care about at.
Speaker 2 (01:49):
The end of the day.
Speaker 1 (01:50):
But it was a little disappointing to hear some of
those comments from people that I respect a lot. You know,
when I read this to you guys, I think about Bow.
I think about talking to Bow. I think that he's
a respectful guy. So he's trying to say things in
the nicest way that he possibly can. But I think
(02:13):
he may have misunderstood what we were trying to do.
Speaker 2 (02:18):
Right.
Speaker 1 (02:19):
What I'm trying to say, what I was more trying
to say in this fight is let's not rush him
into fights with people that are much more experienced, much
more battle tested, much more ready to compete at the
highest level. Because it feels like one of those situations
(02:40):
where a young guy who has shown so much promise
gets a little bit fast tracked. You know, we have
seen this time and time again, or an athlete comes
up to the scene, they do so well initially that
they get overwhelmed because you don't know what to do
with them. Guys, it's a big jump from Bo's first opponent,
(03:03):
se Val would bind to Paul Craig. To Paul Craig.
That is how good he has done in that short
period of time that they have already jumped him to
a guy that has beaten the world champion, that has
already submitted the number one continue a light heavyweight. It
felt like one of those situations where bon Nickel was
(03:24):
gonna get fast tracked and he was gonna find himself overwhelmed,
in over his head and then not be able to
help help It. Both started on this thing in the
whole time. Because when you run side to side, are
parallel to another guy around your age with the same
type of style, with the same type of hype, it
is inevitable that they will compare you. People have already
(03:47):
started to compare him to Hamzat Jamaya.
Speaker 2 (03:49):
How do they stack up? Can he wrestle him? Can
he do this? Can he do that? That's not a
real thing. That's not a real thing.
Speaker 1 (04:00):
I'm not saying he's not ready for Hamsat because I
don't think he ever will be ready for hams I
right now, he just isn't.
Speaker 2 (04:10):
You know What's the craziest thing.
Speaker 1 (04:12):
After this weekend, right after the fight, people called me
and said I was a bold apologist. I was being
apologetic for his performance, almost making excuses for him. That's
crazy because it's odd that a fighter can interpret it
so much different than other people in the world. In
the world, I thought he did really good, but I
(04:35):
wasn't the only one that had reactions. Chill said that
the gripe is that you have a four time wrestle
world champion.
Speaker 2 (04:42):
He doesn't wrestle at all because someone told him.
Speaker 1 (04:46):
One of his trainers or a partner sat him down
and said, you're not ready to go to ground with
this guy.
Speaker 2 (04:51):
Well, how would you know how that f would you
know if you never tried it?
Speaker 1 (04:57):
Is? He even questioned the approach. He said, it's a
boring fight, that's all. He's letting it get away, even
when he hurt his opponent. He's not comfortable on the feet.
He looks good striking, which I agreed with, but he's
not comfortable. He doesn't know how to close. Even if
Bo would have faked a takedown that would have allowed
for him to finish the fight. Guys, bo Nichol has
(05:18):
now seen the opposite side of fame. I wonder how
he's gonna handle negativity coming in this direction. I wasn't negative.
I have no problem with bo Nickel. I believe he's
gonna be fine. I don't have a problem with the performance.
I thought he felt really well, but there's room for improvement.
Everybody said it, let's just take our time. We don't
(05:41):
need to rush him. That's all I'm saying.
Speaker 2 (05:51):
That was a tough round. Bo Nickel came off swinging.
But it's okay. Guys, wround two.
Speaker 1 (05:57):
This whole Tom Aspernau John Jones thing, for lack of
a better word, it's just weird for me, it's just weird,
Like I don't get it. I don't understand it. I
don't know why this is happening. Am I living in
an alternate universe? We are talking about John Jones. So
after this weekend, he defeated Steve amiochicch As you would expect,
(06:22):
he is the bell at the ball.
Speaker 2 (06:24):
But as you would also expect, the moment.
Speaker 1 (06:27):
The fight was over all, people wanted to talk about
was Tom Aspinall, because that's all they talked about leading
up to the fight. Joe rolled the steps in to
that octagon. He starts speaking to John Jones. It sounded
like Jones maybe open to the fight. It sounded like
he was warming up to the idea. I think it
was the reaction from the press conference. It was the
(06:48):
amount of people saying Tom Tom Tom Tom Tom. John
felt like he wanted to prove them wrong. But then
when he got to the press conference, he switched it
up again, saying, quote, he's annoying to me. That's my
own personal opinion. He annoys me, Jones said of Tom Aspinall.
(07:09):
He annoys me. Jones said about Tom Aspinall and saying
asperaal saying he was afraid to face him. John goes,
I get that you guys find it entertaining, but I
find him annoying. I just don't like him. At the
end of the day, if I give him the opportunity
to fight me, I want to be compensated. I want
to say it. I want that fuck you money. Honestly,
(07:31):
that's just what it is. John Jones shooting straight. This
is a different situation for Jones because at the end
of the day, guys, I will tell you he's not afraid.
Tom Aspinall, to John Jones is just another guy that
he would fight and that he believes he can be.
Speaker 2 (07:50):
That's just the truth.
Speaker 1 (07:52):
But what he does want is to get paid, and
I think he recognizes the dangers.
Speaker 2 (07:57):
In the fight to give him that fight.
Speaker 1 (08:00):
I mean, when this line opened, John Jones was an underdog.
John Jones was the underdog. I don't even know if
there's ever been a time in his career where someone
has been favorite to beat John Jones. And I think
that concerns him. That concerns him. That to Jones raises
(08:20):
some questions, right because for as many fights as he's had,
he's always been thought to be the better guy. This guy,
Tom Aspinall, is the first time that someone says there
is something in him that we will open the line
where John Jones is not the better guy out there.
For a guy who's never had to answer those types
(08:41):
of questions, it's hard.
Speaker 3 (08:42):
For him, hard for him.
Speaker 1 (08:45):
Guys, is a great fighter, but I would not be
so certain that he's just gonna beat John Jones.
Speaker 2 (08:51):
Nobody's done it.
Speaker 1 (08:52):
Nobody's done it, and Honestly, after watching him this weekend,
I don't know how how people wouldn't feel more like
John would be a problem for Tom. Aspinall, there's a
lot of weapons that heavyweights don't see every day. While
John was more I'm done with him, Tom seemed very
(09:16):
excited after sitting with Dana and Hunter. He was happy
when he walks out of that room. I don't know
what they spoke about, but whatever they did, it gave
Tom hope. But then John goes to the press conference
and goes, I'll give away the Belton, I'll fight somebody else.
Tom believes that the unknown may be too much for
(09:37):
John Jones. John Jones is a big time studier of footage,
but all the footage that Tom has is him beating
people up. So he thinks that that advantage, that thing
that John relies on so much, is gone.
Speaker 2 (09:56):
It's gone.
Speaker 1 (09:58):
He thinks that is why John Jones is hesitant to
fight him. Guys, I know that this sport moves fast
and every time we're on to the next thing. But
very rarely, very rarely does a guy demolish the heavyweight
greatest of all time and is immediately asked about a
(10:18):
challengee that's.
Speaker 2 (10:19):
Even bigger, even bigger. For as good as.
Speaker 1 (10:23):
Jones looks, Saturday, the main thing was how does he
do against Tom. I'm interested to see how this all
plays out.
Speaker 2 (10:31):
I don't know.
Speaker 1 (10:32):
What will come of this, but what I do know is,
and what I do believe, guys, is that ultimately we
will get this fight and you'll see Tom aspinall versus
John Jones. I just don't know if the winner is
gonna be what you guys expected to be, but it
could be, but we will see. To pour water in
(11:01):
my face, I want you to take the towel fill
with water, threw it in my face. The boy got
knocked aroun a little bit in that second round, but
I'm back. I'm a fighting champion. I get off the
stool and I fight, so I'm ready for round three, guys.
Jake Paul fought Mike Tyson last weekend. It was an
absolute monster of an event, a monster. It absolutely killed
(11:29):
it from that Flix killed it from that flicks.
Speaker 2 (11:36):
So many people tapped in.
Speaker 1 (11:38):
They had seventy one thousand people in an arena in Dallas,
Texas to watch Mike Tyson, at fifty seven years old,
fight Jake Paul Hey guys, I'm all from nostalgia.
Speaker 2 (11:49):
I'm all from nostalgia.
Speaker 1 (11:51):
Seriously, when they were doing the countdown and Jake's playing
Mike Tyson's punch out, I'm all forward.
Speaker 2 (11:56):
I was locked in. But to have.
Speaker 1 (12:02):
Seventy one thousand people purchase tickets to go watch that
shacks in the crowd. So many celebrities in the crowd.
I get the older people wondering if Mike Tyson had
another performance in him.
Speaker 2 (12:15):
We saw that it wasn't.
Speaker 1 (12:17):
I don't know why we are how we are. I'm
trying to understand why it did so well. I'm trying
to understand why people, why people continue to buy into this,
and when I say people, I do it. I stayed
up till one thirty in the morning in New York City,
(12:39):
knowing I had to work the next day to watch
those dudes fight in two minute rounds. It's not like
we got a real boxing match stream minute rounds. We
got two minute rounds. I've heard right from sources that
I will not name that when Mike gets ready to
make a fight, there are a number of different things
in rule and almost precautions that are taking to make
(13:04):
sure that everybody's okay. At the end of it, in
terms of Roy Jones, Mike had to be very careful.
Let's not hurt Roy Jones. If you're gonna fight Mike here,
it needs to be two minute rounds, or it needs
to be sixteen ounce gloves opposed to ten. Those dudes
fought out there with fourteen ounce gloves to make sure
nobody really got hurt.
Speaker 2 (13:24):
Why are we like this?
Speaker 1 (13:26):
Why aren't we like this as people? Why we got
I mean they watched it. I watched it. We loved it.
I remember watching him walk to the ring, going, oh
my god, Mike Tyson's about to knock this dude.
Speaker 2 (13:41):
Wow.
Speaker 1 (13:42):
Maybe I was hopeful, but I thought you would knock
him out. It's crazy, but Jake Paul can actually box.
It's time to give him credit for the fact that
this dude can actually box, point blank period. You know
what was interesting to me as this fight got closer.
When it first got announced, we were almost unified in
(14:04):
the idea that Mike was too old, he shouldn't be
doing this, He can't fight this kid. He's gonna get beat,
he might get knocked out. And then as the fight
got closer, we actually start to believe that Mike would
actually win, or we convinced ourselves that we're gonna get
to Mike Tyson from Brownsville.
Speaker 2 (14:23):
We saw Mike Tyson go to Brownsville.
Speaker 1 (14:25):
It was all perfect, I mean perfect, and then we
saw the training footage, so then we start to buy
into the hype. But in reality, guys, it literally turned
out exactly like we expected it to. I mean even
Jake Paul said that late in the fight he started
to pull his punches because he didn't want to hurt
somebody that didn't need to be hurt. You know, at
(14:49):
the end of the day, we almost encourage this type
of thing because we all watch it because we love
to watch things that are a bit odd. Hundred and
eighteen million people watch this event worldwide, guys, sixty million
streaming in live, so it tells you who we are
(15:10):
no matter what you feel. It was an overwhelming.
Speaker 2 (15:14):
Success for Netflix.
Speaker 1 (15:16):
But it's crazy to me right to watch it happen,
watch the fight, me being up in the middle of
the night watching these two dudes fight.
Speaker 2 (15:25):
It's crazy to think that that.
Speaker 1 (15:28):
Many people tuned in to what many thought was a sideshow.
So it makes me kind of question us fans, right
It makes me question as fans because I was with
the bullshit like I was actually with the bullshit guys
from start to finish.
Speaker 2 (15:45):
It's crazy.
Speaker 1 (15:51):

All right, now for my final thought.
Speaker 1 (17:39):
Last weekend, we said goodbye to one of the good ones.
Steve Amiocicic retired after getting beat by John Jones.
Speaker 2 (17:49):
He got beat bad guys.
Speaker 1 (17:51):
It was not competitive, and he recognized right away that
his time has come and this time is gone, and
he retired and he did it in a classic way,
as you would expect from a classic guy like Steve A.
Speaker 2 (18:09):
Miolchic.
Speaker 1 (18:10):
He thanked everybody from his coaches, his family, his fans,
even his opponents for.
Speaker 2 (18:16):
Helping him achieve such great things.
Speaker 1 (18:19):
You know, my greatest memory Steve A will be sharing
the octagon with him three times.
Speaker 2 (18:23):
He was one of the.
Speaker 1 (18:24):

share an octagon with this guy's that are leave an
amazing legacy mixed Martial Arts and Steve AM Miolchis will
be remembered forever. Guys, just uh, really top notch guy.
I appreciate the success that we had together. The time's
(18:48):
been in the octagon. Steve A's gonna be missed. Man,
It's kind of sad that it's the end of a legacy.
Speaker 2 (18:55):
Guys.
Speaker 1 (18:55):
Before I go, Michael Chandler and Charles olivera fall and
I said that Mike landed some rabbit punches.
Speaker 2 (19:04):
Guys, I kind of.
Speaker 1 (19:06):
Gotta walk it back a little bit, right, And I
think that's in part due to the rule and that
one end stripped down the back of the head that
Mike was not.
Speaker 2 (19:19):
Punching that directly.
Speaker 1 (19:20):
But I will make a longer video to explain and
kind of talk about what I said. I have a
big voice, and I have seen the reaction that people
have given Michael Chandler, and I want to make sure
that this man isn't thought to be a cheater. All right,
I will make a video and talk about it more
(19:41):
in debt with you guys. Guys, thank you so much
for supporting Three Rounds. I love each and everyone. Yeah,
