seen this time and time again, or an athlete comes
up to the scene, they do so well initially that
they get overwhelmed because you don't know what to do

That is how good he has done in that short
period of time that they have already jumped him to
a guy that has beaten the world champion, that has

what they spoke about, but whatever they did, it gave

Tom believes that the unknown may be too much for

John Jones. John Jones is a big time studier of footage,
but all the footage that Tom has is him beating
people up. So he thinks that that advantage, that thing
that John relies on so much, is gone.

fight him. Guys, I know that this sport moves fast
and every time we're on to the next thing. But
very rarely, very rarely does a guy demolish the heavyweight

I get the older people wondering if Mike Tyson had

I don't know why we are how we are. I'm
trying to understand why it did so well. I'm trying
to understand why people, why people continue to buy into this,
and when I say people, I do it. I stayed
up till one thirty in the morning in New York City,

knowing I had to work the next day to watch
those dudes fight in two minute rounds. It's not like
we got a real boxing match stream minute rounds. We
got two minute rounds. I've heard right from sources that
I will not name that when Mike gets ready to
make a fight, there are a number of different things
in rule and almost precautions that are taking to make

sure that everybody's okay. At the end of it, in
terms of Roy Jones, Mike had to be very careful.
Let's not hurt Roy Jones. If you're gonna fight Mike here,
it needs to be two minute rounds, or it needs
to be sixteen ounce gloves opposed to ten. Those dudes
fought out there with fourteen ounce gloves to make sure
nobody really got hurt.

It's time to give him credit for the fact that

what was interesting to me as this fight got closer.
When it first got announced, we were almost unified in

the idea that Mike was too old, he shouldn't be
doing this, He can't fight this kid. He's gonna get beat,
he might get knocked out. And then as the fight
got closer, we actually start to believe that Mike would
actually win, or we convinced ourselves that we're gonna get
to Mike Tyson from Brownsville.

We saw Mike Tyson go to Brownsville.
Speaker 1 (14:25):
It was all perfect, I mean perfect, and then we
saw the training footage, so then we start to buy
into the hype. But in reality, guys, it literally turned
out exactly like we expected it to. I mean even
Jake Paul said that late in the fight he started
to pull his punches because he didn't want to hurt
somebody that didn't need to be hurt. You know, at

the end of the day, we almost encourage this type
of thing because we all watch it because we love
to watch things that are a bit odd. Hundred and
eighteen million people watch this event worldwide, guys, sixty million
streaming in live, so it tells you who we are

no matter what you feel. It was an overwhelming.

But it's crazy to me right to watch it happen,
watch the fight, me being up in the middle of
the night watching these two dudes fight.
