(00:22):
listening to Fox Sports Radio. Here we go, it's hour two.
We're ready to roll.

Speaker 2 (00:29):
We are live.

Speaker 1 (00:30):
It is the Herd. Matt Hasselbeck's around the corner quarterbacks,
all of them fil Burls planning, Mahomes is planning. Everybody
but Aaron and Matt Stafford. They're not planning. And we'll
get to the Matt Stafford back injury on that. It
was fun. I sat and watched the Bears and Dolphins.
I watched the Jets and the Packers. Boy, Jets looked
like it's one of the great teams ever assembled in Lambeau.

(00:52):
It's all us funny. How good the Jets look in August.
It's just amazing. And they got Jones coming off the
pup list. That's the kid at f who was awesome
two years ago, missed all of the last year.

Speaker 3 (01:03):
I'm just telling you that defense has a chance to
be nasty the front seven.

Speaker 1 (01:07):
Sauce Gardner got paid. He's happy. The defense will be
a problem. No, I am Pauth, Aaron Glenn's defensive coach.
I don't doubt that. Here you go, all right, we
do it every Monday. It's more fun, obviously when we
have football. Colin Wright Colin wrong, and here we go
where Colin was right. Jim Harball a couple of years
ago when he drafted Joe Alt. Remember last year's draft

(01:27):
and everybody said, oh, he should have taken a receiver.
Well Tate, we defended him. We said no, go Joe Alt.
And Joe Alt is saving the season. Rashaun Slater's out
for the year at left tackle. They can move Joe Alt,
who I've been told has had a great camp. They
can now move him to the left tackle. Mackai Becton
maybe goes to right tackle. But this is why he's

(01:51):
the anti Mike McDaniel. It's all about building center guard
tackles out, not wide receivers in. And that Joe All
pick everybody wanted to receive or they got Lad mcconky
in the second round. They were fine that Joe altpick
could have saved the season where Colin was wraw well,
arch Mannings family is saying he's staying at Texas two

(02:13):
more years. So I will take for now a wrong.
I think if he slices up Ohio State there is
going to be incredible momentum. I think he's really good.
I didn't watch a ton of them. I thought he
was better than quinn Ewers more athletic throws a better ball.
For now, I'll take a wrong. I think it's the

(02:34):
right thing to say. In the Mannings usually say the
right thing, so I'll take this l where Colin was right.
Joe Shed Dolphin's reporter reporting that culture, accountability, and physicality
are what Mike McDaniels is preaching in this camp. What
a shock. That's exactly what we've been saying, and it

(02:58):
gotten We've gotten pushed back from Dolphin fans. My take
is lot of sizzle three years into this coaching reign.
Where's the stake, where's the meat and the sandwich? They're
not physical, Tyreek Hill sort of says and does what
he wants. What makes McVeigh or Shanahan or Andy Reid's

(03:19):
special is their teams are physical and they can be Finesse. Finally,
I at least appreciate the coach acknowledging what the issue
is where Colin was wrong. Fifty NFL executives and coaches
came out in Mike Sando's annual survey, and they've got

(03:40):
bow Knicks tied for the twentieth best quarterback in the league,
below Geno Smith. You know, Smith's been in this league
eleven years. He's made the playoff once. Bo Nicks has
been in the year in the NFL, one year in
a division. Last year with Herbert Harbaugh and he Mahomes

(04:00):
in the AF scene, he made the playoffs. I Sean
Payton and I love bow Nicks were apparently on an
island because they even have him below Tua, who's smaller,
not his athletic, more injury prone, and I'd say bo
Nick slightly has the better arm. I don't get it
where Colin was right. Well, not to pick on anybody,

(04:26):
but the last two years people have been telling me
quinn yours is something, and I keep saying I don't
see the great traits five of eighteen two fumble sack twice.
I didn't get it. At Texas, I don't get it.
I don't see what everybody sees.

Speaker 4 (04:41):
No.

Speaker 1 (04:41):
I know he dropped to the seventh round, but before
the draft people were talking second, third, fourth. I don't
see it. You gotta have a trait. I go wow
with not a great anticipatory thrower. You know, he kind
of slings it. Did not look like he was I mean,
he looked like it's a long way to go. And

(05:03):
that's what I've been saying for two years. Where Colin
was wrong, I thought Jackson dark was better than an
anticipating I thought he threw it with anticipation. I always
thought he was pretty athletic. I thought he looked really poised.
I thought he looked really comfortable, you know, like a Bonnicks.
Maybe a little more athletic than I gave him credit for.

(05:23):
But you know, when he got drafted, I said, I
probably wouldn't give up picks that drafted him in the
first round, but you have to be pretty happy. Twelve
to nineteen, one hundred and fifty four yards again, looked
comfortable playing with the backup offensive lineman, good arm strength.
I thought he was impressive. I thought he was really impressive.
Where Colin was right, I don't want to hear about

(05:46):
Anthony Richardson's age, Okay, he's hurt again. Nobody cares about
age and experience. You're in year three. You got to
be able to play. And so I had said this
going into the season. He has Shane Steichen, one of
the really bright offensive minds, and he regressed last year,

(06:06):
so he was a boomer, a bus pick. I just
think by this time you can't be taking those hits
and it feels like a miss where Colin was right.
Even the NBA is acknowledging with their Christmas and Opening
Day schedules, the league is lobsided. The Christmas games are

(06:27):
the San Antonio Spurs against the thunder Rockets, Lakers, MAVs, Warriors,
t Wolves Denver. They have one Eastern Conference game and
it's the Knicks. The West is so much better than
the East, Honest to god, it feels like the SEC
in the Pac twelve for about fifteen years. Even their
opening night games are one hundred percent Western Conference teams.

(06:52):
And that's with big brands out East Philly, New York, Heat, Celtics.
So if we've said this before, you put Lebron in
the Lakers out East, Oh, they can compete. Luca Lebron
Austin Reeves could compete to get to the Eastern Conference finals.

(07:15):
They're a five seed, probably maybe a six to a
seven in the West.

Speaker 1 (07:30):
Hi, this is Jay.

Speaker 4 (07:31):
I'm the producer of the Pauli and Toni Fusco Show.
Usually in these promos they ask you to listen to
the show. I'm here to ask you please don't listen
to the show. The hosts are two absolute morons who
have the dumbest takes on sports imaginable. Don't listen to
the show so it can get Camps.

Speaker 2 (07:44):
Who whoa what what the hell are you doing in
our studio?

Speaker 1 (07:47):
Get him, Paulie, Ignore that fool. Listen to the Paula
and Tony Fusco Show on the iHeartRadio app or wherever
you get your podcast.

Speaker 3 (07:56):
He's still moving, all.

Speaker 1 (07:59):
Right, that Nick Wright first things, first weekdays at three
ees FS. So I'm in a weird space with Shader Sanders, so,
you know, so it'd be very easy to be a
troll and marginalize me, but I liked him coming out
of college. Then I thought he was way too immature

(08:21):
with legendary and the speeding tickets unseerious really bothered me.
And then I watched them Friday, and I'm like, stop
saying he's not athletic enough. He is more athletic than
all but about ten guys nearly he is fine. And
so now I'm stuck. I did not like, I'm really
I like the traits, but I said yesterday, if your

(08:42):
traits aren't mahomes Alan Lamar, then you better be good
at the other stuff, the other thirty thirty five percent.
Years ago, you said something very smart. You said the NBA,
you don't have to be a great defensive player because
offense is seventy percent of the league. You shouldn't be
hardened and be atrocious. Same thing here, trades are seventy
percent of the league. You have to do some film
study like it can't be like. So I am back

(09:04):
and forth on Shador, but I loved how he played Friday,
and then he told me crazy because he goes after
a local radio.

Speaker 2 (09:13):
Guy, and I'm like, we see, so I didn't I did.
So here's the deal.

Speaker 5 (09:17):
I actually think you and I were in a similar
spot on Shador and the Browns have given us an
out and then I'll get to the radio guy.

Speaker 1 (09:25):
Okay.

Speaker 5 (09:26):
So I think you and I both before the draft
said there's a very real chance he's Like people were
talking about should or versus cam Ward at one, and
then it moved to will the Giants take him in
the top five, and then it moved to should Pittsburgh
trade up to ten or eleven if he's there? And

(09:48):
I think you and I were two of the few
people that said he might be there for Pittsburgh if
they don't move at all, if they just stay where
they are at the in the twenties in round one
that we thought as a prospect. He was a late
round one, round two player, and so we weren't as

(10:09):
high on him as some.

Speaker 2 (10:10):
But I don't think any of us thought he was
going to fall the way he did. So there's that
part of it. Then.

Speaker 5 (10:16):
I don't think you or I loved him as a
starting quarterback his rookie year in the NFL, But when
he ends up on a team with the oldest quarterback
in the league in Joe Flacco, with Kenny Pickett, who
is not an NFL quarterback. And in fact, when you
have Mike Sando on in an hour, asked him about

(10:38):
Kenny Pickett maybe being the first player in the history
of his tiers to be in his own tier Tier
five this year, for Sando was just Kenny Pickett. It's
the saddest thing I've ever seen. He has no friends,
he has no roommates, he has nothing. He's out there
all by himself. And then Dylan Gabriel, who you know,
looks eye to eye with Kyler.

Speaker 2 (10:59):
Murray Hurry literally.

Speaker 5 (11:02):
Then all of a sudden, it's like, well, Shador might
be a good option in this specific quarterback room because
Blasto is not playing all seventeen pick it's not a starter.
And you watch as much college football as anybody nobody
watched Oregon last year and was like, that kid, that's
a franchise NFL quarterback. So you then add to it

(11:24):
that I think Shador played quite well under somewhat adverse
circumstances in Week one of the preseason, and you have
the recipe for a fifth round pick starting the season
as the backup quarterback for the quarterback most likely to
be benched of anyone in the league.

Speaker 2 (11:42):
So that part of it.

Speaker 5 (11:43):
I don't think that's in conflict with your previous opinions.
There's twenty eight teams in the league where Shador would
not be in a quarterback battle.

Speaker 2 (11:54):
He's on one of the three or.

Speaker 5 (11:55):
Four where he is and where he might end up
moving up enough to where he's the eventual starter. There's
that now, the Tony Grosi thing. Colin, listen. I know
it has been years since you had to go in
locker rooms, and it's been some time since I went
in locker rooms, but we know that is not uncommon,

(12:20):
the athlete going up to the loudmouthed radio guy and
being like, Hey, what I do to you?

Speaker 2 (12:28):
I remember twelve years ago, I don't.

Speaker 5 (12:31):
Know, I guess fifteen years ago being in the Chiefs
locker room and Matt Castle saying to anyone who would
listen in my vicinity, Hey, does anybody like this guy?
He sure seems to talk a lot of s to everyone,
doesn't he like? That's pretty common and so and I all,

(12:51):
let me add one other thing about.

Speaker 2 (12:53):
The end of that. And this is just a reality
of life.

Speaker 5 (12:58):
Never underestimate the power were of charisma or a great
smile like that. Tony Grossy Schadoor interaction reads not great,
but when you watch it and Shadoor hits you with
the five thousand watts smile and the laugh at the end,
it seems like it's okay.

Speaker 2 (13:18):
So I had no problem with that.

Speaker 5 (13:19):
The walk in with the boombox and the staff I
maybe could have done without. But I also did just
turn forty, so I'm becoming a curmudgeonly old man like you.
But I thought he played well.

Speaker 1 (13:32):
Yeah, he was fun to watch. So I said, almost
everybody played this weekend Mahomes Burrow Tua. Everybody but Tom
Brady played this Weekend, and Caleb Williams didn't. And my
take was standalone Bear's Dolphins. Ben Jonson's like, you know,

(13:55):
He's It's like when tech companies come out with a
new product and they say, you know what, we're gonna
delay it. It's going to be revolutionary, but you just
want to tighten it up. It means the engineering staffs
a little behind. My take is Caleb is creating a
little bit of drama where it's like, listen, do we
want another nine days or seven days? Getting crushed? He's
not quite there. We're asking him to do stuff under center,

(14:19):
and it was strategic in not playing him, not that
he got a bunch of good snaps against the Dolphins.
What's your take on that.

Speaker 5 (14:28):
I think you have gone swung the pingdrum a little
too far on the calyb stuff.

Speaker 2 (14:32):
I'm being honest. I think you have the are a little.

Speaker 5 (14:35):
Too pessimistic at this point after admittedly you and I
were both probably a little too optimistic last year. But
I listen, I would if I were running an NFL team,
I would simply say, hey, what does Andy Reid do
in preseason and training camp?

Speaker 2 (14:53):
Yeah, I'll do that because.

Speaker 5 (14:55):
The Chiefs start every year off sharp and ready, and
he plays his guys and Holmes is out their first
preseason game and they have tough practices. But the second
best in my opinion, coach in football, Sean McVay, does
the opposite. So there clearly isn't just one way to
go about it. I would be more critical of this

(15:16):
if it weren't for the fact it also should be
noted the entirety of the Bears starting offensive line SAT.
They're starting running back, tight end, and their top three
wide receivers SAT. So of course Caleb is going to
sit now he does need to play probably more snaps
now in week two than they otherwise would have. And

(15:37):
is this Ben Johnson protecting Caleb? Is this Ben Johnson
protecting himself? Is this Ben Johnson simply saying, Yeah, we're
not exactly where I want us to be yet, but
I think there's no harm in waiting an extra week.
I'll tell you this, much like everybody loves Drake May,
even though you can't find the stat the number the

(15:59):
game where Drake May was better than Caleb last year,
Drake May got five through five passes in Week one.
One of them was backwards over his head to the
other team. Nobody cares and so like, is it good
or bad that Caleb didn't have that moment? I'm not sure,
but I think I am. I do think it will
be a little rocky early as this transition takes place.

(16:23):
But I think by the by Thanksgiving, Colin Caleb, I believe,
is going to look like the player that you and
I both believed he would be.

Speaker 1 (16:32):
Well, I hope so so the quarterback Mike Sando's on
in an hour, and I love it. It's an annual survey.
I said yesterday, I woke up and I saw it
and it was like, Oh, it was like Christmas present
in August. It's great. I love it. Did you have
anything anything in the tiers? Could you do your own tiers?
Anything that jumped out to you as a revelation or
I thought bo Nix was a little low. I thought

(16:54):
Aaron was a little high at this point, I think
if you asked GMS, who would you take today, Aaron
or bow Knicks. Take bow Nicks for a lot of reasons.
One he's just in his athletic prime. But it didn't
bother me. But it was there anything here that jumped
out to you?

Speaker 5 (17:10):
Well, first of all, just because you opened the door there.
I heard you tease in the previous segment that there's
going to be an adjustment tomorrow. Is it to your
preseason predictions?

Speaker 1 (17:21):
Yes?

Speaker 5 (17:21):
And then you revealed that a charger injury Rashon Slater,
And so when I was like, and at first I
was like, Okay, good Colin, who had every single defending
division champion repeating except for the Chiefs, is now going
to use the Rashawn Slater injury as a reason to

(17:42):
elevate the Chiefs. Why do I have a terrible sinking
feeling that somehow the Rashaw Slater injury is going to
lead to bow Nicks and your beloved Sean Bayton going
from third to first.

Speaker 2 (17:57):
In the AFC West.

Speaker 5 (17:58):
It is somehow Rashawn Slater gets hurt and the Broncos
go to first place.

Speaker 1 (18:03):
I saw that.

Speaker 2 (18:05):
Trade storming down the tracks.

Speaker 5 (18:07):
I was like, that's what's happening here, all right, So sorry,
no spoiler alert.

Speaker 2 (18:11):
I haven't seen the list.

Speaker 5 (18:13):
But I know that's what's happening. I just know it
all right. Now to the list. I thought the list
was really good. Now I am higher on Stafford than most,
but not in nflgms and front office people, because I
think he's the fifth.

Speaker 2 (18:29):
Best quarterback in football.

Speaker 5 (18:31):
Obviously, the three or four people that had Josh Allen
or Lamar as tier two are just out of their
mind like that.

Speaker 2 (18:40):
That to me is not a viable opinion.

Speaker 5 (18:43):
Unless people are arguing Mahomes is in a tier by himself,
which they should but they're not, then Alan and Lamar
have to be there with Burrow in tier one. I
know there was a lot of consternation about Jalen Hurts's ranking.

Speaker 2 (18:59):
I didn't listen. I would have.

Speaker 5 (19:00):
Jalen Hurts ahead of Justin Herbert. I would rather have
Jalen Hurts than Jared Goff. But aside from that, like
I don't have a problem with Jalen Hurts being high
Tier two. I also think it should be noted people
are awful quiet these days. You know, we don't hear
from so much anymore these days. Colin the brock Purty Truthers.

(19:23):
They were chirping at you and me for quite a while,
and now he's hanging on for dear life in Tier two,
about to drop to Tier three when this thing comes
out next year, and you have from as much anymore.
I thought this quarterback tiers was I thought they were
really well done, as they typically are. I think Josh
Allen's the second best quarterback in football. But you know,

(19:45):
forty seven people voted him tier one, fifty voted Joe Burrow.
It's such a small margin. I don't really have a
problem with it. I think this is a pretty fair
reading of the league. I agreed with you. I think
Aaron was a touch hi. I also thought Kyler I
thought fit the top of Tier three are two quarterbacks

(20:05):
that I just don't really believe it in Kyler and Aaron,
so I wouldn't have them quite as high. I think
Gino's a little disrespected. And listen, I understand nobody's ready
for Mac Jones two point zero bow knicks and take
the league by storm. I'm very excited to see it.

Speaker 1 (20:21):
Yeah, you know, by the way, the Brock Pretty thing
and this is gonna really bother Jmac. But I said,
when Dak as a fourth rounder, came in and the
Cowboys had Zeke, who was the best back in the league,
the best offensive line and offensive coach, the division was
kind of wonky and they could spend money because they're
paying Dak. Yeah, there were three and then the more

(20:43):
they relied on him. Well, if you go to brock
Perty's first year as a full time starter, he had
four Pro Bowlers on offense. Now their receiving corps in
this camp is a mess. And in his last fifteen games,
as the team got old, Brittle is losing defensive players,
meaning they're in more shit doubts. Do you know what
brock Purtty is in his last fifteen games, He's six

(21:03):
and nine and they just paid him. So my take
is what brought Pretty is going through not only the
last fifteen games, but in this camp where all his
receivers are gone or hurd is that's the real NFL,
not of das rookie year or Brock's first two years.

Speaker 5 (21:20):
Of course, And by the way, listen, some of these
the Brock purty folks are not going to be reasoned with.
And I've said this before, but I will say it again.

Speaker 2 (21:31):
This is a essentially a.

Speaker 5 (21:34):
Six year long how do you view football war that
started with Jimmy Garoppolo. Jimmy Garoppolo won, but objectively was
not that good. And some people were like, Nope, he's
a winner, he's got it. And there were those of
us who were like, I actually think with that coaching

(21:55):
and that talent and that scheme, you could throw almost
anyone in there and they would be successful. And those
folks were like, no, you can't. And by the way,
how would you ever prove that? And then they put
in literally the last player picked in the draft and
added Christian McCaffery, and instead of those folks being like, oh, yeah,

(22:16):
the talent and the scheme of the coaching, they're like, Nope,
that guy's a superstar.

Speaker 2 (22:20):
And then those of us were.

Speaker 5 (22:21):
Like, no, he has this amazing team around him, and
they said, well, how do you know he wouldn't do
it if he didn't have that team around him. And
then last year he didn't have it around him. They
won six games, and they're like, no, proc Perty's still great,
Like he's fine, he's over a chief his draft status.

Speaker 2 (22:38):
I'm happy for him and his family. He got paid.

Speaker 5 (22:41):
But anybody that watches the NFL and thinks he is
a force multiplier or he is a substantially you know
that he is unfairly ranked and the fourteen fifteen, sixteen range,
they're just they're not going to they are not open
to the evidence that keeps in year after year or

(23:01):
game after a game.

Speaker 1 (23:03):
I will give you credit though, the fact that you
were able to sniff out Bonex going on.

Speaker 2 (23:09):
I know it.

Speaker 5 (23:10):
Of course, I was shocked when I saw you didn't
have the Broncos in the playoffs.

Speaker 2 (23:16):
I'm like, that's listen. I know. I know Uncle Colin
really well.

Speaker 5 (23:20):
And one of the things I know is around this
time of year, he loves he loves he loves him some.

Speaker 2 (23:28):
Sean Payton loves him some. Ah. You know, how.

Speaker 5 (23:32):
Impressive is it really to go to seven straight conference
title games and win three and go to three straight
Super Bowls like when we see that all the time,
and now do I wish you had this type of
energy for JP Losman and the Bills circa two thousand
and nine. Sure I do, But listen, everybody, everybody can't

(23:54):
be the twenty twenty four Denver Broncos who went oho
and seven against AA. I've seen playoff teams, but now
they're a real threat because have you seen Courtland Sutton.
I mean, it's the silliest thing I've ever heard, but
I'm glad you're now going to join the chorus on it.
And I still please explain tomorrow how Rashaun Slater's injury

(24:18):
moves the Broncos up two spots and the Chiefs state
where they're at. I don't see it, but I'm sure
you will explain it.

Speaker 1 (24:25):
I will. First things first, my buddy Nick, Right as
I was good seeing you.

Speaker 3 (24:29):
Be sure to catch live editions of The Herd weekdays
and noon Easter n a em Pacific.

Speaker 1 (24:35):
All right, here we go, it's our two. It's the
Herd wherever you may be, however you may be listing.
Brian Baldinger going to be joining us from the Jets
and Giants camp today. They're having a joint practices with
the Jets and the Giants. Both teams have some real
talent on the defensive side. We don't know what transpliers

(24:56):
a quarterback. So J Mack likes one of them and
has disdained for the Jackson Dart pretty promising. Justin Fields
will see so J Mac once the NFL season ends.
I give myself four opportunities to make predictions for the
following year. Last year I went four for four in

(25:16):
the AFC Division Champions two for four in the NFC.
I did get Washington was my surprise team in the NFL,
nailed to make the playoffs. I predicted Denver was the
easiest team to double their win total. I don't think
they quite did, but they were much better. They made
the playoffs, so I felt pretty good about last year.
It's hard you're not going eight for eight. AFC is
much easier than the NFC. But I do think now

(25:39):
that you watch OTAs and rookie camp and you get
consensus opinions from camps on what rookies are crushing, who's hurt,
who's injured. See you ready to go fire away, buddy?
Here we go. This is my final big tweak my
NFL predictions. We start in the AFC and most of
what I am predicting will stay the same. AFC East

(26:03):
Bills are gonna win it. Patriots are my most improved
team in the NFL. Will be a wild card team.
They've had a very good camp. Dolphins coming out now,
as we predicted, the culture, the accountability, Mike McDaniels saying
it must improve. We said that and we got nothing,
but you know what from Dolphin fans. The coach says it,
and everybody says, well, of course. The Jets, I just structurally,

(26:26):
I have no idea their fourth we go to the
AFC North, it's gonna stay the same. Bengals, Joe Burrows
had a great camp. That's promising because they've been a
slow starting team. Ravens are the best operation arguably in
the sport. Steelers have not been impressive once again, can't
run the ball in camp or in the season. Cleveland's

(26:46):
trying to get a number one pick next year. Schadur
is gonna start mark my word. Probably finished fourth, but
there'll be an interesting fourth place team that stays the same.
My first change, not a major one. I am going
to move the Jags into the second spot. They've had
a very good camp. Travis Hunter has been effective on
both sides. Trevor Lawrence has had a very good camp.

(27:08):
Lea and Coleman him are on the same page. Brian
Thomas year or two and this has mostly a been
about the Titans, who I think they have the quarterback
and the coach for the future, but they've acknowledged both
the quarterback and the coach are acknowledging the offense is struggling.
They probably have the worst receiving core in the league.
So I think Tennessee will be a fun watch. And

(27:30):
I really like cam Ward, but I Trevor Lawrence is
healthy offensive coach. Between Brian Thomas and Travis Hunter in
the camp, they've upgraded their own line. I'm gonna put
them at second, Titans, third, Colts, fourth, and AFC West.
I am flipping the Broncos and the Chargers. Mackai Beckton

(27:52):
has banged up Rashaun Slater out for the year on
the offensive line, Joe Alt's gonna have to change positions.
Offensive line, which was a concern, is now once again
a bigger concern than last year. They still also have
a couple of receivers that are young that can't consistently catch.
I think all of these are legitimate concerns. Denver maybe

(28:14):
has the best camp so far in the league. Every
reporter that's been there, wow. Also, they picked up a
running back R. J. Harvey in the second round. He's
had a great camp. Sean Payton is raving about him.
So I'm I think Kansas City's a good team. I
think they're not gonna go eleven and oh in one

(28:36):
score games. So Bill's Ravens, Texans, Broncos now winning their divisions,
Patriots Bengals. Chiefs are playoff teams. Patriots Bengals new playoff teams.
We go to the NFC. The East remains the same Eagles, Commanders, Giants, Cowboys.
I just don't think. I don't think the Cowboys are

(28:56):
very good. I don't like the staff. I do think
they'll be interesting, but that's an Eagles division. I know
everybody says, well at Flip Loves, I wouldn't be shocked
if the Commanders won the division, but they've been noisy.
Terry McLaurin hold out noisy. Don't love that. But Jayden
Daniels in my opinion, and the staff are too good
to fall to third, so that stays the same. NFC North,

(29:21):
major change, green Bay quiet camp. I don't worry about
Jordan Love's non throwing hand injury yesterday. The Lions, I'm
dropping them to second. I think they're roster and o
line and quarterback and culture's too good not to be
a playoff team. In the NFC, Bears have been the

(29:42):
noisiest camp. I don't trust it, but I know more
about the Bears than I do JJ McCarthy and the Viking.
So I am taking the Bears from second to third,
the Lions from first to second. And the more I
look at Green Bay, they love their first round pick,
the more I like the Packers. Do not worry about
non throwing hand. He will start Week one, and then

(30:05):
in the NFC South it stays the same. You know, Falcons,
Bucks are both teams capable of making the playoff. I
think the best quarterback in division is Baker Mayfield. It's
a workable schedule. I love their GM. They can make
a move with the trade deadline. Overall, the Saints are
one of the worst teams. The Buck throw was feisty,

(30:26):
Baker Mayfield playing with more maturity. I'm going to take
them to win the division again and then I have
a change. The Rams have had a bumpy camp. Matt
Stafford's not practicing, I know, and their left tackle, their
best offensive lineman or second best, Alaric Jackson, not practicing.
Blood clots. Well, with an old quarterback in Matt Stafford, yeah,

(30:50):
I'm concerned that the left tackle again has blood clots
and is not practicing. Rob Havenstein could be playing his
last year at right tackle, so that worries me. It
has been a bumpy, bumpy camp with a left tackle
and a quarterback not practicing. I'm not saying not playing,
not practicing. I'll move the Niners from fourth to third,

(31:14):
even though they've got massive wide receiver grouping injuries, and
I'm gonna put Seattle. This is my shocker. I think
Seattle is gonna win the division. Gray's abel that offensive
lineman their first pick has been a dog in practice.
So the Eagles, Packers, Bucks, and Seahawks are the division winners. Commanders,

(31:34):
Lions and Rams are the playoff teams, so it matters.
I'm sorry if your quarterback who's old, and your left
tackle or not practicing, especially the left tackle issue. It
worries me. And remember, of all the good teams in
the league last year, go look at point differential for
the Rams. Ravens blew a lot of people out, Bills

(31:56):
blew a lot of people out, Lions blew a lot
of people out, Eagles blew a lot of people out.
Rams won a lot of close games. Left tackle not practicing,
Stafford banged up, bad back. It worries me.
