in Madison Square Garden. We know that as a date,

Jack Della side. Do you agree with Jack Dela Maddelena
when he says Islamia Kantchev is an easier fight because
his stand up isn't as good as balal Mohammad.

I don't necessarily agree with him on this, but I
understand what he's trying to say, I think because Islamahatchev's
striking style is a little more predictable, He's a little
bit more fundamentally sound than Balaoso blows a little bit
more wild. It makes him a little bit more unpredictable.
So I think the fact that Islam is a little
more predictable, it might be a little easier to see

punches coming from him and to defend punches.

Well, it's just something that he's experienced before. But Jack
Della even said he thought that Volk beat him in Perth,
Western Australia in the first fight. I don't agree, but
I gotta tell you this, Jack Dela Maddelena is doing
what he needs to do to not only give himself confident,
but really try to poke away at the confidence of Markatchev.

Markeatcheff feels like he's the best fight in the world.
He was proving that as a numbre power pump. But
Jack Della is doing what he feels he needs to
to kind of try to get into the mind because Dean,
you and I both know it's not just about the fight.
There is so much that gold into not only preparation
and getting ready for a fight, but also poking and

prodding that guys. I remember multiple times in fights where
every time I came into contact with the person, I
tried to chip away at the confidence and the assuredness
that they had. And I kind of feel like Jack
Della believes that Dean I can't imagine watching Islam you
feel like his striking isn't up to par with the law.

Well, here's the thing. You're right about this.

You have to pick away at those guys because for
so long the Dagistanhi wrestlers have been so far ahead
of everybody else. They've been running through everybody else, so
that are around them has had guys losing before the

Morob and Umar, Paul Hughes and uslannder Maga Mettow that
was as close as as to a fight as you

a long fight standardee, that's where his chances are elevated.

Because as long as he's getting grappled down, it's gonna
be hard for him because there's no one liked Islam
on top. That's why he's finishing it. Everybody I don't know.
It's like a crazy stat. Markoa Jeff finished like the
last seven eight guys he's fought, so he's not like
just winning fights. He's finishing fights. And for Jack Della

to stop that, he's not ultimately stopping his number one skill,
and that's the wrestling. And after watching the Baalo Mohammed fight,
he still he seems more prepared to do that today
than he might have been in the past.

And I think the answer lies in Craig Jones Craig
Jones has done an amazing job with those guys, especially
with Volk, what he did with Volk, and then also
too with what we saw the improvements from Jack Della
that we saw from the Gilbert Burns fight to the
Ballaw fight, and I think that's attributed to Craig Jones.
Now giving Craig Jones has more time to help Jack
Della this.

poking out and then when the fight started, Luke gets

dropped in the first round. Fight keeps going, but then
later he got dropped and finished. Bad Dean, did you
watch that? I know you saw the clip, but did
you watch the fight.

I couldn't bring myself to even watching the whole fight,
just because I felt so bad for Luke rock Hole.
The biggest issue here DC is we have to do
a better job of not allowing these guys to get

I have now watched Luke, who's one of my great
friends and a guy that had a great career, get
beat in bare knuckle boxing by Mike Perry, broke his
jaw in his teeth and get knocked out badly against

Darren Till. And for me, what makes me sad is
watching guys that have had those careers go and fight
these fights that are really meaning that they mean nothing.
And I guess it's for money, but it sucks when
you see a guy that was a champion all of

just gonna go get paid. Because it felt like Luke
did a good job of helping to build the fight
with the bad blood and everything. But when you get
past the surface, one of Luke's biggest issues has been
and I can say this as a friend of someone
who loves him, is when Michael Bisman was able to

hit him, people realize, oh my god, if I can
hit him, I can put him out. So the day
he started going balls to the wall and trying to
hit him and then they would put him out. But
now he's boxing where you're definitely gonna get hit, and
that to me is the problem.

That to me, he he Well, here's the thinking about Luke, right,
He's ultra confident. So you're his management team, he will
convince you that he's ready and he looks good physically.
In these companies want to build off the name, then

career and use him as a springboard because now could
you imagine what's in line for there? Until one thing,

Derek till should fight Jake Paul's him though, because I
have to see it, what he saw. He knows how

as this is, and it would have been the number
one contenders fight had Fluffy not looked as good as
he did in that lands actly, but this could be
the number one contenders fight. This is a it's a
rat race right now in the middleweight division. The middleweight
division has never been this strong in the history of

He would have fought with the belt based on just

issue because even though with a win he might deserve
a shot Bojo's, Bohio's gonna have a hard time forcing
the public to see that because his performance might not
be a stellar.

we have. Trying to fight a champion who is just
ascended to the title, but a it looks like he

can be dominant for a long time. But when you
look at the lines, Dean, while we feel it's a
very close fight, the odds makers don't really believe it
to be. I mean, Fluffy is minus two thirty versus
the Ritdter, Bohoalio's minus won forty against the mav Off,

don't think it's as close as you and I do.
They feel strongly that Bohaalo is gonna win. But they
feel even more strongly than Fluffy gets through near de

out last weekend. Man, it was not good dre until

poking out and then when the fight started, Luke gets

dropped in the first round. Fight keeps going, but then
later he got dropped and finished. Bad Dean, did you
watch that? I know you saw the clip, but did
you watch the fight.

I didn't watch the whole fight, man, I saw the
two clips.

I couldn't bring myself to even watching the whole fight,
just because I felt so bad for Luke rock Hole.
The biggest issue here DC is we have to do
a better job of not allowing these guys to get
put in this position.

I don't know what it is, man.

We you know, we complain about fight or pay, we
complain about all this other stuff.

Judges reps. When are we going to say, yo, enough
is enough? Man? These guys are retired.

They should not be in this position to be getting
knocked out by these killers.

You know what's crazy. It's like I was watching Darren Till,
and Darren Till has always been a tremendous boxer, like
that's one of the things that he can do. But
I have now watched Luke, who's one of my great
friends and a guy that had a great career, get
beat in bare knuckle boxing by Mike Perry, broke his
jaw in his teeth and get knocked out badly against

Darren Till. And for me, what makes me sad is
watching guys that have had those careers go and fight
these fights that are really meaning that they mean nothing.
And I guess it's for money, but it sucks when
you see a guy that was a champion all of

a sudden almost say to hell with the legacy. I'm
just gonna go get paid. Because it felt like Luke
did a good job of helping to build the fight
with the bad blood and everything. But when you get
past the surface, one of Luke's biggest issues has been
and I can say this as a friend of someone
who loves him, is when Michael Bisman was able to

hit him, people realize, oh my god, if I can
hit him, I can put him out. So the day
he started going balls to the wall and trying to
hit him and then they would put him out. But
now he's boxing where you're definitely gonna get hit, and
that to me is the problem.

Who's sign I mean, who signed off on this?
Speaker 2 (08:25):
That to me, he he Well, here's the thinking about Luke, right,
He's ultra confident. So you're his management team, he will
convince you that he's ready and he looks good physically.
In these companies want to build off the name, then
they want to build off what he did in his
career and use him as a springboard because now could
you imagine what's in line for there? Until one thing,

Derek till should fight Jake Paul's him though, because I
have to see it, what he saw. He knows how
dangerous that fight is on.

That's the next fight for Jake Paul, This Javonte Davis
thing ah, who I mean, who gives a damn about this?
He needs to be fighting dar until right now. I'm
telling you, though, what they're doing to these retired MMA
guys is exploitative and absolutely wrong, taking advantage of their
names and the legacy and what they've created inside the octagon.
Now they're using these guys as springboards for their own organizations,

I mean, but that's the thing, Like, what other professional
organization will they allow guys to participate if you can't
do the job. It may fall on the commissions. It
may fall on commissions for signing off on these things.

Yeah, something good. Something has got a change in that
regard because Bro, I hated it, Bro and he got
knocked out so bad. And then you could tell when
it don't matter much because right afterwards they're in a
picture together at a bar.

the craziest situation. I don't understand, but I digress. Okay,

So howm's out your minds the champ. But we have
two big fights man, this weekend. Nasar Dina my Ball
takes on Kyle Bohoo and then later down the line,
Fluffy Hernandez takes on Ray near the Ritter. Dean, are
you going to France?

I'm going to France. I'm leaving in a couple of hours.

See yay, So you're heading to France to go watch?
But are you watching? Dean? Can you comfortably say this
is the number one contendents fight.
Speaker 1 (12:20):
I can't say comfortably that this is for as strong
as this is, and it would have been the number
one contenders fight had Fluffy not looked as good as
he did in that lands actly, but this could be
the number one contenders fight. This is a it's a
rat race right now in the middleweight division. The middleweight
division has never been this strong in the history of

the middleweight division.
Speaker 2 (12:43):
Yeah, but how do you how do you separate yourself
because the reality is everybody's looking good. Bajyo looked amazing
in his last fight. Uh No, So Dina Mabov knocks
out easy bro in so many in so many worlds,
a maba of knocking out Izzy at a sign as
he did, that would have been enough. It was over.
He would have fought with the belt based on just

that accomplishment, based on just beating a guy like Edisanya.
But now he has to go and fight Bajallio and
it reneered. The Ritter beat another champion and Robert Whitaker,
but instead he draws Fluffy Hernandez. It's like, I don't
know how to determine or separate these guys, Dan, because
it seems like every single guy has a valid case.

They all do have a valid case.

But that's when you gotta have a holy shit moment,
because the holy shit moment will push you over the
edge and force Dana's hand to give you that title shot.
The problem with Kyle Bojio this weekend is Ima Wolf
is a difficult guy to do that against. He's so patient,
he's so conservative that Bohio's gonna have a very difficult

time looking good against. And that's gonna be his biggest
issue because even though with a win he might deserve
a shot Bojo's, Bohio's gonna have a hard time forcing
the public to see that because his performance might not
be a stellar.

And the problem and the real problem is the Ritter
and Fluffy Hernandez have like car crashes.

It's gonna look a certain way. Man, I'm happy and
and Dean, it's second A lot of times you want
to be second because then you know what you gotta do.

Already, absolutely going second because you know what you and
for Fluffy, because Fluffy has this style man that's so
born Bernard that people love to watch. If he goes
out there and puts on that pace against the Rittor
and can finish the Rittter or just just maul him
like that, oh my god, it's gonna look really good.

Man. He's gonna get a title shot.
Speaker 2 (14:39):
If he drowns Rainier the Ridder in the way that
he did. The LEDs is over. There's no way you
could say that he doesn't deserve a title shot. But
also a big moment because I truly believe that these
guys are as evenly matched as any four middleweights that
we have. Trying to fight a champion who is just
ascended to the title, but a it looks like he

can be dominant for a long time. But when you
look at the lines, Dean, while we feel it's a
very close fight, the odds makers don't really believe it
to be. I mean, Fluffy is minus two thirty versus
the Ritdter, Bohoalio's minus won forty against the mav Off,
who's only plus one oh five. But the odds makers

don't think it's as close as you and I do.
They feel strongly that Bohaalo is gonna win. But they
feel even more strongly than Fluffy gets through near de
rittter Broer De Ridder can't get no respect.

And he should be getting some respect because he's dangerous
man and he has a skill set to compete with
anybody just.

Because of his grappling.

He can always rely on his grappling and he doesn't
have to be on top to be effective. So a
guy like that, man who's skilled everywhere he needs, he
needs to get a little bit more respect from everybody.

But I mean, what happens to Drake is du plus
c now because he lost that belt. He falls right
back into a shark's take of guys that are just waiting,
hungry and willing to try to become world champion. It's
a it's dangerous waters at middleweight right now, and uh,

my final thought, guys, De's right, Dean is right. Dean's
right that he probably should have had a conversation with
Tyron Woodley, And Dean's right, that by saying that I
should have a conversation with my friend Luke Rockhole or
anybody that's watching their friends take these fights that aren't

champion or a person at water UFC title, there is
so many ways for you to make money. There are
ways to do it without stepping inside of a boxing ring,
without stepping inside of a h I mean a bare
knuckle boxing fight. So crazy Frankie Edgar is about to

knuckle boxing. I like Frankie. I don't know that that's
the greatest idea, So hopefully someone close to them goes
frank I don't know if this is the fight or
this is the move, because ultimately we are watching great
champions from a long time pass and from a long
history of great champions go out there and fight in

a way that's not great for them. And I don't
love the visual. Hey they say all great champions go
out on their back, but they don't need to go
out like that. What I saw with Luke last week
and was terrible. I hope that he doesn't go out
there and fight anymore. Do some grappling. He's a tremendous grappler.
You can get paid doing that. Find alternatives, Guys, you
don't have to fight forever. We have our time and

then the time passes. They always say for all the
time is undefeated. That's never being proved more true than
what we are seeing lately with Anderson Silver losing to
Paul and Luke rock Holden, Darren Till and Tyren Woodley
and Jake Paul and so many others. The list goes
