(01:07):
and we're gonna announce the winner next Tuesday, I believe
on the channel. I believe that's what it is. If not,
maybe another Tuesday, I don't know. I want to talk
about week three, Scott Bogman. I've been itching to talk
about camp Scataboo because I'm so excited. He scored a
touchdown for US on Sunday Night Football. He did a backflip.
Tyrone Tracy's hurt. I don't want him to be hurt,
but I'm just excited that Cam Scataboo is breaking through.

Speaker 2 (01:29):
That's what I mean. My logic on Tyrone Tracy not
getting carries was completely wrong, but we still hit because
he got hurt. So I'll take a win where I
can sneak one in, I guess. But yeah, Cam Skataboo
looks like a real go to running back for the
rest of the season, and this is kind of what
I thought was gonna end up happening. I didn't know

(01:49):
it was going to happen week three, right, I thought
it was going to happen maybe a little bit later
in the season. But with the Tyrone Tracy injury and
what he looked like last week, he's clearly just the
best back here. And I mean you saw it in
his Brian Dabole interview when he was screaming in the
background and day Ball was making fun of him. You
know that this is the intensity that Scataboo brings. And

(02:10):
I opened up my eyes this morning to a lot
of text messages about Cam Scataboo, so.

Speaker 1 (02:16):
Very exciting stuff. Welsh. I want to talk to you
about the scoop and score at the end of the
Eagles game here from Jordan Davis next gen stats. I've
got the miles per hour of how fast he was running.
Would you like to take a crack at how fast
the big man Jordan Davis was running the opposite way
of the field. He could have just sat on the football,
could have been the game.

Speaker 2 (02:33):
But no prices, right boy, highest without going over here?

Speaker 1 (02:36):
Well you can go highest without going.

Speaker 3 (02:38):
Over Let me start, Let me start, all right, Yeah,
I'm gonna go with a speedy four point eight miles
prour more than that.

Speaker 1 (02:48):
Bogman, go ahead, closest without going.

Speaker 2 (02:50):
Over fifteen point five miles per hour.

Speaker 1 (02:54):
You are both under Scott. Bogman is closer. He was
running at eighteen miles an hour. Appointment exgens cats.

Speaker 2 (03:01):
I know he is shed some he.

Speaker 1 (03:04):
Had shed some weight, and he is an athletic beast
as you were talking to see. But wow, b w
I go bring it back there he had b w W.

Speaker 3 (03:13):
He was. He was running like he was trying to
go to the purple shirt store, like you, guys.

Speaker 1 (03:23):
Jealous because we have the purple shirts and you do
not have the Okay.

Speaker 3 (03:27):
Anybody on the podcast Bakman and Joe decided to purple
it up. So I put, I've got a purple background
in here, but I don't own any purple shirts. Sorry,
I didn't get the memo.

Speaker 2 (03:37):
Guys. Oh, well, damn it. That's gonna be the best
comment all day. I can't beat that being beat early
in the day like this. Well, God, that was free.

Speaker 1 (03:48):
I don't know. I mean he was saving that up though,
because he was making it was perfect. It was The
timing of it was good, almost as good as with
all of the blocked field It was kind of well
in recent memory, do you ever remember that many field
goals being blocked in that period of time?

Speaker 2 (04:04):
I think they said nine seven or nineteen ninety one
the last time five got blocked.

Speaker 1 (04:09):
The five got blocks, and then the scoop and scores
too that there was two of them too, and knowing
that they were they were by the guy that blocked
the field goal too.

Speaker 3 (04:17):
Blocked, scoop scored. Yeah, I've never felt less confident about
kicking than this week. Every single kick, you're like, guy's
gonna block it, Like nothing is safe. You gotta go
for every fourth down. No, it was super, super weird.
We're gonna talk about it. By the way, shout out
to everybody in the chat. You guys are already bringing up
a lot of show topics because there's a lot of
things we got to talk about, some of the defensive stuff,

(04:38):
some of the scoop and score things are out here.
It was a wild, weird week, and uh, special teams
was at the forefront of it for whatever reason.

Speaker 1 (04:46):
Yeah, And the weirdest part is Bog's like, I don't
play in a lot of leagues with defense special teams.
I played in some IDP leagues like you and I do,
and I've got like, I don't know a handful of
maybe two three that have defenses so defensive scoring, especially
since you had Connor go down with an injury, Mike
Evans go down with the injury, Ceedee Lamb go down
with an injury, nause Harris, like the list goes on
and on, right, Terry McLaurin. A lot of scoring was

(05:06):
suppressed if you look at the high scores and some
of these teams that had these defensive touchdowns.

Speaker 2 (05:11):
Here, here's the worst thing, Joe, is that I have
Will McDonald on two IDP teams didn't start them. One
didn't start them. No, I mean, why was shit? Yeah
that's ah, I didn't happen in uh. But I didn't
have Isaiah Rodgers anywhere. So at least there's that legitimately.

Speaker 3 (05:32):
I was thinking about this. You could have had Cardi
the kicker and the Vikings defense, and that probably could
have outscored both of your starting running backs and maybe
your tight end this week. That's how hard it was.

Speaker 1 (05:45):
Yeah, it's very possible. All right. We got a lot
to get to here, a lot of headlines, a lot
of things going on. But first a little questions with asses.
That's right, these asses are going to answer some of
my questions here. And the first we got to start
out with the Chargers backfield. Nausey Harris unfortunately done for
the year. It's a second running back in two weeks
to have it achilles tear. Very sad stuff there. So
a Marion Hampton, here's a question, BOXX, is he ready

(06:05):
to take over the Chargers backfield. We've seen all of
these rookie QB excuse me rbs in the first month
of the season kind of last year too, and this
year they almost red shirt September. It's like nobody wants
to play these guys much in September because the season's
much longer in the NFL, the wear and tear is greater.
Now the Chargers hand has been forced. Is Omarion Hampton
up to the task?

Speaker 2 (06:26):
Doesn't matter if he is there isn't does it, Joe.
He's gonna get the touches. He's gonna get about twenty
five a games, so I think he's up for it.
I mean, he was a workhorse back in North Carolina.
I think he's going to be a workhorse back here.
For the Chargers as well. I think this is what
they wanted, but a lot like we talked about with
Cam Scattaboo, I didn't know that it was gonna happen
this early. Now. Naw, she being out all of camp

(06:48):
and then not using him and then ramping him back
up was probably the cause of this, by the way.
I mean naw, She's never missed a game before, so
uh yeah, this is unfortunate. But I think it just
means wheels up from I ain't Hampton, and you'll get
some of those annoying games where he's not very good
because he runs into a wall, but he's gonna get
the touches, so he's going to be up there every

(07:08):
week in the rankings.

Speaker 1 (07:10):
All right, let's expand this further. So Hampton, regardless, is
going to get the opportunity here. Obviously, his fantasy stock
just shot through the roof. So it feels like if
you were a zero or hero RB drafter this year,
things are really going your way. Trey Benson now is
going to have the lead. We have Amario Hampton getting
the lead. If Ramandre Stevenson puts one more GD ball

(07:31):
on the ground, I'm gonna lose my mind, why aren't
we giving the ball to Trevion Henderson. I I just
losing my absolute mind about that yesterday. So Welsh, the
question is, are you worried at all about Hampton at
some point hitting that wall? You know, we've seen that
with some of the rookies sometimes when they get too
much too soon here, By the time we get to
a week thirteen or something like that, right in the

(07:51):
fantasy playoffs, that wear and tear does start to show
out on them. Do you think that's a problem potentially
with Hampton or is like to Bogman's point, Look, this
was the guy in college. He had the full backfield
he can handle this year in the pros.

Speaker 3 (08:03):
Yeah, I'm it's fair what you're saying, but I don't
think there's any application to it. Like he's the guy
after this injury he ended up getting where is it here?
He had almost seventy percent of all the rush attempts
from week three and that's counting where Nase was in there.
Like he's gonna be the guy. He was close to
an eighty percent snapshare, He was targeted out of the backfield.

Speaker 1 (08:23):
He's the dude.

Speaker 3 (08:24):
Could he wear down? Yeah?

Speaker 1 (08:25):
Maybe?

Speaker 3 (08:25):
But this is like a run heavy offense that in
the early part of the season has built around passing,
which is just gonna help later on into the year.
This is a huge win for Amarian Hampton. It really
sucks for Nase. I do believe they'll bring somebody in.
They talked about bringing somebody in the in the preseason
with Nase had the eye injury and everything like that.
So they're gonna bring somebody. Maybe they're gonna make a trade.

(08:47):
But at the end of the day, it looks like
like Hampton is going to be full go.

Speaker 1 (08:50):
We'll go. All right, let's take some questions here from
the audience, because some of the comments are very funny
that we're not answering. You know what, well, we will.
We just started the show. Let us say hell for
questions immediately. I don't understand how this works, don't you
know you have to talk to me right now. No,

(09:11):
we have to talk about our purple shirts first, that's
what we're talking about for all right, how are you
feeling about Scattaboo? Rank him higher than j CM. Here's
a good question. So rest of season, do you have
Scatboo higher than JAYZM? Because I sure do, especially after
yesterday's Washington Commander backfield usage, I forgot.

Speaker 2 (09:26):
Do we have to do the skull champ before we
answer this question or no?

Speaker 1 (09:29):
Okay, I'm greaty goohad, No, I'm good.

Speaker 2 (09:33):
I would rank Scattaboo higher than Jason and then Bill.
I mean he's been a workhorse before. Bill Krofsky Merrit
is in a great spot, right. I think this is
a very good spot for both these guys, specifically with
Austin Eckler down, but I mean Jayden is gonna run.
They're gonna mix in Chris Rodriguez, who had the most
carries as well. I think this is pretty much cam

(09:54):
with Singletary as a sidecar. At this point where I
think Washington is going to be a little it between
those guys. I think you go to Bill, oh well,
they're just everybody else.

Speaker 3 (10:05):
They start with Chris Rodriguez out there. This is not but.

Speaker 2 (10:09):
But don't but don't you think also Welsh that eventually
Bill is going to be the best back and he'll
take over that Role's interesting opportunity for those people.

Speaker 1 (10:18):
Are panicking and and maybe that's true, but also you
know it was Mariota yesterday. It was a specific game plan.
Perhaps we're all just overreacting. We talked on the Waiverarre
show about touchdowns for the right so and Jane Daniels
wasn't under center. So the offense is gonna be the
same with Marcus mariotas as Jade and Daniels. So who
knows what it's going to look like. Let's go to
uh hot pocket Carl here. I don't know how you

(10:40):
got that nickname. Actually you know what I scratch? I
actually do want to know how you got that?

Speaker 2 (10:47):
No?

Speaker 1 (10:47):
No, you okay? Josh Jacobs, is he a sell? Absolutely not,
absolutely not. He Look, the Green Bay Packers went into
a situation where they had a Browns team that's good
on defense and with Judkins back now can really run
the football, and they were fighting for their life. This
was their super Bowl. This is like, hey, we're going
to be irrelevant for the rest of the season if
we don't get a w here and stop the bleeding.

(11:09):
And they did. And the Packers were caught out a
week and they were in a tough spot there, they
were down a bunch of players and this is what happens,
and they didn't execute. Here's a question, too, should the
Falcons stay the course with Michael Pennock's or pivot to
Kirk Cousins. Apparently the head coach said, no, that's not
an option. But it's not I don't think it should be.

(11:29):
I just want to make sure that we're not heading
in that direction.

Speaker 2 (11:31):
I mean, you bench Michael Pennix at the end of
the game when the game is already in hand and
he can't do anything right, Like, it was pretty clear
he was having a bad day, So get him out
of there, right. I think that's exactly what they did.
But this isn't going to be a permanent move at all.

Speaker 1 (11:47):
Yeah, what is your favorite hot pocket? By the way,
I haven't had a hot pocket since like two thousand
and three.

Speaker 3 (11:53):
Remember the last time I had a hot pocket?

Speaker 1 (11:54):
Yeah, I mean just going to let you know.

Speaker 2 (11:56):
I could win that one liner contest right now.

Speaker 1 (11:58):
But you know that's it.

Speaker 2 (12:00):
That's ham and Cheddar from me.

Speaker 1 (12:02):
There you go, that Ham and Cheddar one. I remember
in college being one that I like. The pizza one
was weird. I want to say, it was like a
Buffalo chicken one.

Speaker 3 (12:09):
Also, the heat ratio just never works. You got to
poke the hole. It's always too hot. The first bite is.

Speaker 2 (12:15):
It's just it's the Gaffigan joke. Do you want it
solid Brozen in the middle or.

Speaker 1 (12:23):
Yeah, there is no in between. Destroy your mouth, don't
never read the ingredients. By the way, in hot pocket,
don't do it.

Speaker 2 (12:30):
It's last soul fate.

Speaker 1 (12:33):
Yeah. Well, Carson Wentz usurp JJ McCarthy in Minnesota, Welsh.
I'm just gonna ask this because this is a team
that really you know, look, they're in the thick of
a thirteen win team. Fourteen win team is a team
that's fighting around there. If Wentz runs a couple of
victories off here, is there any sort of chatter in
Minnesota's like, hey, let's not go back to the kid
quite yet.

Speaker 3 (12:53):
No no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, absolutely not.
They could have brought Sam Darnold back if they wanted
to do this game. It's the exact same thing with Pinnix.
This stuff is silly to me. You you want to
have great veteran quarterbacks to back up if your guys
fall apart, get hurt. It's way too million season. Could
it happen? Sure, anything could happen If JJ McCarthy plays
like he did for six of eight quarters once he

(13:15):
returns for like he does that over a month. Yeah,
maybe wins played really efficient, but no, we're gonna we're
gonna go with a big fat no on those oldies
taking over the newies.

Speaker 1 (13:25):
All right, here's an interesting question too. I want to
get this from the chat here, so uh.

Speaker 3 (13:31):
Uh, you're taking away? You're taking I was gonna tell
you don't do any drinking stuff because well when we
do our take, if you want to take away some moments.

Speaker 1 (13:40):
Well hold on. Second an interesting one though, well, well
not really. Where do you rank him rest of season?
I don't know where that is, but like rest of
season right now? Welsh do you think he is? Would
you put him low end RB one? Would you put
him high end RB two?

Speaker 3 (13:55):
Like?

Speaker 1 (13:55):
How aggressive would you be on Judkins here? Especially now
that we've got guys that are like we've lost James Connor,
you know, I was like Eckler was really in that
mix necessarily, but like we're in a tough spot and
some of the quarterbacks that we've lost already in this
year are gonna have a massive impact on these backfields too,
because when you don't have a good quarterback play, you
cap your ability to score fantasy points. Because you're not

(14:16):
moving the change, you're not scoring touchdowns.

Speaker 3 (14:17):
So per my Week three takeaways, which we have on
the sheet and I have there, this is my takeaway.
Jutkins quinchin. Jutkins is a top twenty back moving forward.
I do not think that is even in question anymore.
He had the highest percentage of team rush attempts in
Week three of any running back. His snaps you know,

(14:39):
they're still moving up. But he had the highest amount
of team every rush attempt but one. He's still forcing tackles.
I had the I stupidly had the under on his
rushing yards. But I'm want to point this out. He
did not have the over until eight minutes left in
the fourth, but he beat down one of the best
defens in the NFL, one of the best rush defenses.

(15:02):
They hadn't given up. They were giving up like two
point five yards per carry. They had given up. He
rushed for more yards in this game than they had
given up combined in the first two games. Because he
beat them down and the Browns committed to him, they
gave him all the rush attempts he can catch out
the back. He is him, He is all of it.
So the only thing that's going to stop him is
taking him off the field due to his suspension. So

(15:24):
I am fully in on Quinchawn Juckkins because like he's
going to continue to do this if he gets fifteen
plus carries, he beat down overtime, the best defense in
the NFL, he's stretching it. I'm fully in. I think
he's a top twenty, maybe even a top fifteen guy.
The amount of questions in this chat that were Quinchwn
Jutkins is at least forty percent. Every question was Judkins, Juckkins, Judkins.

(15:49):
And that was my big takeaway for this week that
we've now seen the progression. Drop Ford is nothing Samson
could catch out of the backfield, if you know what. Honestly,
the Chargers shouldybe call about forward because I could bet
you could get him for a bucket of peanuts at
this point, because there's no room on this teeth on
this team anymore. Judkins is an easy top twenty back,
maybe top fifteen. People are saying, hey, you should I

(16:11):
trade the swift. Yeah, you should do all those things
because he looks so good and the Browns are gonna.
Browns were going to him when they were still down
versus the Packers. They kept rushing the ball with him.
I think he he might end up being the best
rookie of all these guys. I'm gonna throw it out there.
Genty looks fine, Amaron Hampton looks good, but Judkins is
as good as these guys right now, and maybe he's

(16:33):
the number one.

Speaker 2 (16:38):
I mean, listen, if you find someone that talks about
you the way Well speaks about Quinn Shawn Judkins. I
didn't think that was ever gonna end Wels. That was amazing.

Speaker 3 (16:49):
I didn't feel like it.

Speaker 1 (16:50):
That was That was really fun show. Everybody, thanks for
joining us.

Speaker 2 (16:55):
Speech about Quinn Shawn Judkins, it really was. But I
think he warn't And I think what we saw them
do against the Packers is the perfect strategy for the
Browns to try to execute every single week. Play strong defense,
run the football, control the clock. That's what they want
to do. So, I mean, I I think that Welsh

(17:17):
is exactly right. I don't want to, I don't want to,
you know, break into song here, but Gwynchown Jenkins is
the man and is at least an RB two movie.

Speaker 3 (17:25):
For life with Fife and the chat just said, well,
she you emptied the clip on Judkins nothing for later, No,
that was I was waiting for him.

Speaker 2 (17:34):
We'll have to add a second show.

Speaker 1 (17:35):
I think the beauty of the bit we just did
was that Bogman started and then I joined exactly on
the guys.

Speaker 3 (17:41):
That was one of the best, Like singing behind.

Speaker 2 (17:44):
That was very, very dead.

Speaker 1 (17:45):
All right, let's move on to the takeaways and our
favorite moments from the week that was in fantasy football.
My first takeaway, Jordan Mason is going to be a
league winner. I just I see it. It's in the
stars Aaron Jones. Maybe we get him what week eight,
the way to schedule falls and the injury falls, and
by then, I mean at some point we have to
look at it and go maybe it just should be
Jordan Mason's backfield. Is he special?

Speaker 3 (18:07):
No?

Speaker 1 (18:08):
Is he in a situation where they're gonna run the
ball and play defense? Considering the way the quarterback play
is gonna be this year, whether it's JJ or whether
it's Wenz, whoever it is in the weeks ahead, Yeah, yeah,
and Jordan Mason coming away with a couple of scores
and one hundred yards look pretty darn good to me. Box.
Let's get your takeaway here from week three.

Speaker 2 (18:26):
In the NFL. I'm ready to break up with some people.
Oh so I'm gonna publicly do this. So we're in
a public place. It's loud in here. We can't make
a scene. Marvin Harrison Junior, I'm breaking up with you.
And listen. This one's gonna be gonna make Welsh very happy.

(18:47):
Isaiah pa check. Oh I'm breaking up with you. Oh yeah,
I mean listen. I think I want to break up
with the entire Chiefs defense or offense right now. It
is pathetic. It is not good. They only put up
twenty two points on the Giants, who the Cowboys whooped
last week. I don't understand what's happening here. I know
that the wide receiver injuries are a major part of it,

(19:09):
of course, but they are Patrick Mahome Taekwon Thornton looked
like a god yesterday, like, why can't this offense get
it together? They have no push. Let Brishard Smith have
this backfield. Let him do it a little bit.

Speaker 1 (19:24):
Check the waiver wire that I would stash right now,
just in the weeks ahead, to see if it turns around.
Because he was the only guy that looked that he
had any kind of snap in any hitch in his
gidda up, And I think the entire Chiefs offense can
be summed up in that one play where remember when
sorting the game in the first half, where Mahomes pumped
the ball like three times and then eventually tried to
dump it off to Kelsey and it was like five

(19:45):
yards out of his reach.

Speaker 2 (19:47):
Kelsey's got to be on that one or whatever.

Speaker 1 (19:49):
He's how shut up seventeen times worse than It's like,
we're trying so hard to make it all work and
we're just falling short. To me, that was like the
encapsulation of the Chiefs in twenty twenty five so far,
like we're just trying so hard, trying so hard, trying
so hard and failing, and that seems to be what

(20:11):
it is. Thank goodness. Russell Wilson, you know, two out
of every three balls he throws up in the air
go to the other team around are.

Speaker 2 (20:18):
Really good at going to the other team This year, well.

Speaker 1 (20:20):
They're going, but they either going complete or they go.
I mean that ball he threw in the end zone
the end there, I'm still wondering where that was headed.
I have no idea what somebody's open somewhere, like he
just got to toss the ball. Well, what was your
big takeaway? Well from last week?

Speaker 3 (20:35):
As on the sheet, it was Judkins. I had put
this before we started the show. It was Jackkins being
a top right here. No, no, no, the week. But I
want to do this because everybody, yeah, it is probably
it is, it's actually it is Judkins laying my Camparsons
down on the ground. That was the big one. No,
I want to reference one thing. Everybody after our the
Jutkins speech was saying, touch on the suspension. So it's

(20:57):
touch on that for a second. Then I'll give you
my moment on this suspension. We've heard some stuff. I
think it's Drew Davenport. Davenport has been out there saying
it actually looks like we might not have a suspension.
But here would be the thing. I'm gonna throw this
out to you. If you are going out to try
to go acquire Judkins, I think you can use the
looming suspension to your favor. People might not be on

(21:18):
that he's a top fifteen to twenty ish type of
back and that the looming suspension is out there. Use
that in your favor. If you were trying to go acquire.
I am going to go off of the assumption that
the worst case scenario you're dealing with is too But
it's sounding like there might not be anything in season,
but obviously things can change. Okay, so you want my moment.
My moment is a defensive moment and the pure glory.

(21:39):
And even though I'm not a big IDP guy, that's Bogman.
The absolute dominant defensive performance by Isaiah Rodgers this weekend
was ridiculous. He had two pass defenses, two touchdowns, a
force fumble, a recovered force fumble, a couple tackles, and
maybe even more impressive, a perfect ninety nine point nine

(22:00):
PFF defensive grade. He was an absolute beast. They embarrassed
the Bengals and he was at the forefront of all
of it, punching balls, scoring touchdowns, get him off the ground,
making picks. He was a good well because the Bengals think.

Speaker 2 (22:15):
Purple shirt, purple sh.

Speaker 1 (22:19):
Purple shirt. Shout out to Sherwood for gifted community subs
also Dreadis, whereas Clutch subscribed with prime also Darth Wolf did.
We got a lot of folks happening here, So shout
out to everybody hype train at level three roster baiting
just re subbed. We appreciate everybody here on the twitch
again Twitch dot tv. We want you to hang out
with us in Fantasy pros. Let's go to the moment

(22:42):
of the day for you, Scott Actually, yeah, moment of
the day four week three.

Speaker 2 (22:45):
For you Cam scattaboy backflip into his Hawaiian celebration. That
was a lot of fun. I mean, I think the
Steelers being able to punch out the ball four times
was a lot of fun as well. I would like
to win by more than one touchdown at the end
of the game when you're plus four in the turnover margin,
but I'll take what I can get. And speaking of
Aaron Rodgers, got a little revenge on Dreddis this weekend

(23:08):
because I beat her in the out of Bounds League
while she was sending Welsh Aaron Rodgers gifts in his
Steelers uniforms this offseason, So got a little revenge there.
But thank you for the community sub very depressing.

Speaker 1 (23:23):
How do you feel about the Ireland game coming up
for the.

Speaker 2 (23:26):
Eight thirty in the morning. For me, Joe, that game
is eight thirty in the morning. I'm going to be anxious.

Speaker 1 (23:33):
I assume you're just not going to bed.

Speaker 2 (23:34):
I'm going to go to bed at nine.

Speaker 3 (23:37):
Since I'm our defensive guru. Now I have horrifically bad
breaking news. Nick Bosa is believed to have torn an
acl according to Ian Rappaport, and is out for the year.

Speaker 2 (23:48):
Awesome, God, that sucks. Man.

Speaker 1 (23:52):
Well, well, let's take another question here. Let's go to
frustrated duck Henderson or Mason rest of season Bogs would
rather have.

Speaker 2 (24:00):
I'm still gonna be Henderson on this one. I just
I cannot believe that the Patriots don't go to Henderson
more after everybody fumbled by this week, Yeah.

Speaker 1 (24:12):
Gibson and after and he thought that was.

Speaker 2 (24:14):
Every everybody fumbled except for Henderson, So I feel like
it has to be Henderson. I still think Henderson is
a better back, but Mason is in the better scenario
right now, so that makes it close. But I'm still
gonna say Henderson.

Speaker 3 (24:26):
That's Mason for me. By the way I'm going to go,
I think this is clearly Mason.

Speaker 1 (24:30):
I'm gonna break the tie. I'll tell you this rest
of season. I still have the trivion Henderson explosiveness, like
he could be Jamior Gibbs, Like, that's what he could be.
Fantasy wise, he could even.

Speaker 3 (24:39):
Be like Jordan Mason held a box. Yeah, he could
be a both.

Speaker 1 (24:43):
He could be, he could be. My big moment was
obviously the big fellow Jordan Davis, the scoop in the score,
eighteen miles an hour, just running down the he was,
you know what, credit to him, he was. He was
huffing still in the postgame interview. They interviewed him like
five minutes after the game, and he was like, and
I wait, so I made sure that it's und of

(25:03):
like the Muhammad Ali at the end of the fight
with EASi And I told Joe Frazier and I was
gonna whoop his hands.

Speaker 3 (25:09):
And what an incredible moment too. That was very much
like college football because that was the biggest backdoor cover
of backdoor covers, the Eagles three and a half. No,
it wasn't, And I can tell you what was.

Speaker 2 (25:21):
It was Oklahoma safety this weekend to clear my uh
six and a half that one NFL.

Speaker 3 (25:26):
But that's why I said, it's literally like college. It's
like you get those moments in college, and that's what
that was. It was blocked big man. If that's like,
I don't know. I mean, I think anybody's trying to
return that. But at the same time, like that was incredible.
That was incredible.

Speaker 1 (25:39):
Right, We got a lot of questions here about Chase Brown,
so let's talk about him before we move on to
the next segment. Boggs every thoughts on Chase Brown, like,
I'm just holding right now. There's not much else we
can do. You know, you can't sell them all for pieces.

Speaker 2 (25:50):
I think the this was just a really terrible matchup
for Jake Browning. Right to go into Minnesota, the blitz
heaviest team in the league, in your first start this season,
and you know, on the road with the crazy crowd
and everything, it just it all went to garbage really
fast for the Bengals. I don't think they'll have a

(26:11):
week this bad offensively for the rest of the year.
Are they behind the eight ball now without Joe Burrow,
of course, But I don't think it's gonna get this
bad again for the rest of the season. So I'm
not too panicky on Brown, even though the whole Bengals
offense lost value across the board.

Speaker 3 (26:27):
I'm gonna throw, I'm gonna do a hot take. I'll
do a lot of hot takes. I'm gonna get my
inner debro in here. I think I'm gonna take Judkins
over Chase Brown rest of the season.

Speaker 2 (26:35):
I don't know, you know what, I don't even know
if that's a hot take. The only way that's a
hot take is if is if Judkins gets suspended at
this point.

Speaker 1 (26:43):
Yeah, like four games, not even two. Yeah, that would
happen to be would have to be a four game suspension.

Speaker 3 (26:49):
I think for to matter, Browning's bad. Browning's bad, but
that offensive line was insanely bad. I mean, Browning had
about one point five seconds to think before he had
his sippy. They're going to blitz the ever living crap
out of Browning every single game because he doesn't have
enough time to think to go to Chase. All he

(27:09):
does is throw it to Noah Fan or a tight
end for two yards every single time, and it leaves
out like the play call. I mean, I had some
bets in this game and on the Bengals, the idea
that they called it in the broadcast. Every single first
down they ran the ball up with Chase Brown and
about the fourth time where they lost a Yuard, they
were like, at some point they're gonna have to realize

(27:29):
this isn't going to work, and they stubbornly did it
every single time. They can't get him together. I'm legitimately
worried about Chase Brown, Like he's gonna have some games
because he is a talented back, but theyre without Burrow
for the majority of this season. Their offensive line stinks.
They have absolutely no time. If it's a tough defensive
line matchup, I don't know. I think it's gonna be

(27:50):
hard pressed to see Chase Brown inside of a lot
of top fifteen RB ranks rest the season and maybe
even twenty. Just with how this offense looks.

Speaker 2 (27:58):
You hate to see it. You hate to see see
the Beangals.

Speaker 1 (28:00):
Try Trey Benson or Chase Brown real quick, Who do
you want the rest of season?

Speaker 2 (28:03):
It's still Chase Brown for.

Speaker 3 (28:04):
Me, man, I guess I'll go with Chase Brown because
the Cardinals are gonna be annoying with like de Marcato
and stuff. But it might be Trey Benson, Like I
think that's the territory I think with them.

Speaker 2 (28:16):
Yeah, I think it's close, but I'm still gonna go
Chase Brown, all.

Speaker 1 (28:19):
Right, shout out to boy Barrow who just re subbed
areciate your barrow? All right, so let's play a little
factor fiction lightning round here. I'm gonna throw out a statement.
You tell me if it's factor fiction, and in like
you know, ten seconds, you can give me a little
bit of why, but not not like I don't want
to Welsh Judkins like response here on this.

Speaker 3 (28:37):
Okay, yeah, I have no other These aren't just you've
got other feelings left.

Speaker 1 (28:44):
All right, Luther Burden, Trey Tucker, and Tae Kwon Thornton
off the waiver Wire are fool's gold factor fiction.

Speaker 3 (28:51):
Welsch dang it, I'm going to say fact, I'm not
giving you the proper time. I do think like if
DJ Morgan's traded, Luther Burton looks fantastic. By the way,
Taekwon Thornton is an absolute dude. I kind of think
he's really I don't buy the Trey Tucker stuff, so
I guess if I have to use him as a group,
I'm gonna say this is fool's gold.

Speaker 2 (29:11):
I think Ducker has the most staying power here because
he's on the field more than the other guys. But
Taekwon Thornton they're gonna get two guys back, and yeah,
I just I'm not into it. Pass.

Speaker 1 (29:21):
Yeah, and Burton's tough because he's not on the.

Speaker 2 (29:23):
Field lot seventeen snaps yesterday.

Speaker 1 (29:25):
Yeah. I mean maybe that grows over time. But I
think a lot of people, especially this week with the
Ceedee Lamb news and you know, the Mike Evan situation
and Terry McLaurin too, everyone's gonna running to the waiver wire,
and I think they're gonna be look at guys like
that instead of look at guys like Tory Horton. I
think Horton's the guy that would much rather have.

Speaker 3 (29:42):
But also like Troy Franklin was a big disappointment, Like
look at the usage he had in week two and
then it just disappeared.

Speaker 1 (29:47):
So like that's not shocking because they've shown us that before.
They agree he's that before. So that's why I didn't
chase that at all last week. But Horton's the guy
that I've added everywhere two weeks ago because I was
a big fan of him for Dynasty leagues and I
just thought, hey, there's a path for it and any
other league. This past weekend where he was out there,
I just picked him up before the games, just to
see I try to save myself a couple bucks. You
know what's a weird two elick a omannor over fifty

(30:08):
percent roster on sleeper but on Yahoo twenty one percent roster.
What the hell is happening in Yahoo leagues? What is
going on?

Speaker 2 (30:16):
People are giving in week three?

Speaker 1 (30:19):
In week two? They think people just like drafting, or
they're just like or is it just like a lot
of ten team leagues, I guess. Or everything's ten teams,
two wide receivers, so nobody cares like it's just I
don't know, try to be crazy, man. I don't like
it all right. Next one, Texans at oh and three
are done factor fiction in this division box act.

Speaker 2 (30:37):
Yeah, I think I think you're out at Owen three.
I'll say this. The the defense is still really good.
That could keep them in it, but starting owing three
is a pretty bad signal everywhere.

Speaker 3 (30:48):
Yep fact.

Speaker 1 (30:49):
How about you Welsh?

Speaker 3 (30:49):
Yep fact?

Speaker 1 (30:50):
I do.

Speaker 3 (30:51):
I don't have any good prospects for this team. It's
going to be what he marks time soon. We're gonna
get some fantasy production out of these other guys. But
this team looks lost Stroud looks lost, so I'm gonna.

Speaker 1 (31:01):
Say fact, So, how many teams are winless? Right? Now?
We've got the Texans are winless?

Speaker 3 (31:08):
Right, Dolphins, Titans, I'm looking everyone who plays in New York. Yeah,
Saints and Giants, So we have six times.

Speaker 1 (31:18):
How brutal is that both New York teams winless and
it's almost the other September unbelievable? All Right, Ricky Pearsall
will finish as a wide receiver one in twenty twenty five.
Well factor fiction.

Speaker 3 (31:30):
Ooh, I'm gonna say fiction because I don't think he's
gonna be a top twelve, but I think he's gonna
be a top fifteen wide receiver. Like party's about.

Speaker 1 (31:38):
To say, Jack miss is it?

Speaker 2 (31:39):
Okah?

Speaker 3 (31:40):
But here's the problem. Jennings is a huge pain in
the ass to Piersaw because like he's a really he
like he's just a sneaky guy. He just finds open
seams and zones and stuff like that. I don't think
he's in a mismus time much time. He'll be back.
Kittle's also gonna be back. But Piersow clearly, like if
you didn't know he's a massively talented wide receiver. He
made Mac Jones look good ish yesterday and party should

(32:02):
be back. So top twelve, no, top fifteen, I do
think so. I think he belongs in the teens of
ranks or consideration of that every single week moving forward.

Speaker 2 (32:12):
Bogwin, what do you yeah, he's gonna be that book.
All my friends are dead by the end of the season.
George Kittle is already hurt. CMC had what forty eight
touches yesterday or whatever ridiculous number it was, and uh
Jawan Jennings can't stay on the field like everybody's gonna
be hurt. Yeah, I think he finished this as like
wide receiver eleven.

Speaker 1 (32:32):
Twelve, all right, next one here, the Bucks offense can
stay afloat without Mike Evans. It's one thing that I
have Godwin, I know Igbuk is awesome, but without Mike
Evans too. That's kind of the special sauce there now.
Credit to Baker Mayfield. He's had three comeback wins already.
Factor fiction, the Bucks can stay a float. Let's say
Mike Evans missed a significant time, Bogs, what do you think.

Speaker 2 (32:51):
Fact eg Buka is the man. Eg Buka is awesome.
They're gonna get Chris Godwin back as well, and Bucky
had also. I think it will thirty touches yesterday it
was an insane amount. So if they can keep handling
the ball to Bucky Baker keeps coming through in the clutch, Yeah,
this offense can stay a well oiled machine, specifically when
they get Chris Godwin back.

Speaker 3 (33:12):
Big fact. This is absolutely big fact. Yeah. I mean if, like,
if there's a serious injury with Evans and Godwin is
looking like he's pacing out to play this week, that's huge.
I think Amica is just he already looks so incredible
I could do. I feel like I would do the same.

Speaker 1 (33:29):
Thing as for a second. He just looks so good.

Speaker 3 (33:32):
It is like you don't want to get too great
in this.

Speaker 2 (33:35):
League, in this league on that guy.

Speaker 3 (33:38):
He makes incredible catch on the sideline, He finds those
open routes like he he looks like a pro. He
looks like a three or four year and seasoned veteran.

Speaker 1 (33:45):
Yeah, all right, last one here, factor fiction. Russell Wilson
is cooked. That's the last game we're gonna see him
start for the Giants last night.

Speaker 3 (33:51):
Welch, I'm gonna say fiction because I think they're stubborn
enough to give him like one or two more. But
there was a lot of camera pan to Dart last night.
Not gonna lie a lot of camera pans there, but
he makes enough dumb decisions that keeps them out of it.
I think we said this like a couple of weeks ago,
we were talking about winn Woul Dart start. I think
it's around like week six, week six or seven. I'm

(34:13):
going to kind of hold to that. I don't know
when their bye weeks are, but I think he will
start next week. Q The Rappaport report that Jackson Dart
will be starting in week four.

Speaker 1 (34:22):
Yeah, it will probably happen right after after recording, so
then everybody will make comments about it. Well, honestly, this
is probably the last week because they played the Los
Angeles Chargers this week and they're gonna get their ass
handed to and there's such a better football team other
than the Giants are and then after that they played
the New Orleans Saints. So if you want to if
you want to get Dart in there, early problem is
the following week is the Eagles, So that's kind of tough.

(34:43):
But look, by then your season's over. You might as
well start valuating people.

Speaker 2 (34:46):
Yeah, I think that's it, and I think you have
to do it fast if you're Brian Dable, because you
may only get this season to prove that Dart is
worth the pick, right so.

Speaker 1 (34:55):
Or that you're worth your job, right, Like if you
think that if you upset the Eagles, right, that might
save you your job because you're gonna if you're gonna
lose to the Chargers, maybe you can beat the Saints, right,
you throw Dart out there, he looks good. Let's say
you could beat the Saints. Then you come around, if
you could possibly pull off an upset against the Philadelphia Eagles,
and then you win a couple of games, you finish

(35:15):
five hundred, there's reason to believe maybe there's something happening.

Speaker 2 (35:18):
Do you think he starts this week? Could you think
Jackson Dart starts this week?

Speaker 1 (35:22):
I think Jameis Winston should start this week. I'll be
honest with you. I just can't run Russell Wilson out
there anymore.

Speaker 2 (35:30):
I just I mean, it's just he was good against
the Cowboys.

Speaker 1 (35:34):
Was he good? Or did those fifty to fifty balls
come down a little bit more fifty one to forty
nine on the other side, like that's the thing. And
at the end of the game he was bad when
he needed to be good, at the end, he was bad.
I think it's over. I don't think Cale looked like
Peyton Manning this week. Again. I would do it this
week defense.

Speaker 2 (35:49):
I don't think the day Ball does it this week.

Speaker 1 (35:51):
All right, let's get the three one to one contest. Now,
do you have any thirty outstanding still left to go? Yes,
I do have one more player left from last week
to go here, So I've got Jamison Williams still to go.
But two of us had Jordan Mason, and one of
us got Bogman had Jonathan Taylor, So we all got
one hundred yard rusher. Nobody got a three hundred yard passer.

(36:13):
Maybe I'll get one hundred yard receiver. But you guys
did not get Pickens or Justin Jefferson unfortunately. So that
puts the tally as of now three for me, one
for Welsh, one for Bogman ironically in the three one
to one contest. So we're gonna pick a three hundred
yard rusher for week four. Oh serious, a three hundred
yard passer for being nice to have a three hundred
rusher in yard passer for a week four one hundred

(36:34):
yard rusher and one hundred yard receiver. I know the
Browns defense played really well this week and did a
really good job against Jordan Love, but they're going to
Detroit next week, and in Detroit, Jared Goff is just different.
So I'm gonna take Jared Goff and I'm on ros
Saint Brown, that duo once again that got me on
the board two weeks ago. And I'm gonna take JK
Dobbins against the Cincinnati Bengals to go for one hundred

(36:55):
yards rushing. That's my one hundred yard rusher there for
the week. Welsh, what's your three to one one predictions
for Week four?

Speaker 3 (37:01):
All right, I gotta get up on this board a
little bit more. The Cowboys secondary you said made Caleb
Williams look like Joe Montana, So I think Jordan Love
is gonna be slinging the crap out of the ball
and he's gonna look like Tom Brady out there. So
Jordan Love versus Dallas, that's gonna be my pick, even
though they don't even know who the hell they're gonna
throw to. Just a bunch of slang it up, a

(37:21):
couple of tight ends, a couple of the you know wicks,
and backup wide receivers. We're still gonna go with Love
versus Dallas because it's so bad. Christian McCaffrey is gonna
be my running back going up against the Jags. They
give him, as mentioned, forty five to forty eight touches
per game, So Christian McCaffrey is gonna have all the opportunities.
They have been throwing the ball at a ridiculous clip
this year. To McCaffrey, this is gonna be the game.

(37:42):
I think it sticks on the ground a little bit
and he'll break a big one. And then for a
wide receiver, I'm actually gonna go in the Thursday night game.
JSN one of the top targets in all the NFL.
The Cardinals gave up over one hundred to Pirosol. Jason
is the number one targeted player with a bullet, as
Bogman would say for the Seahawks. So I think this
is going to be a JSN one hundred yard receiver,

(38:02):
McCaffrey one hundred runner, and Jordan Love three hundred yard passer.

Speaker 1 (38:06):
All right, it'd be nice to have a bounce back
for Jordan Love, that's for sure. All right, Bogs three
to one one for Week four? What do you have?

Speaker 2 (38:12):
Let's go with bow Nicks versus Cincinnati, and his coach
Sean Payton said, just keep slinging it, just keep slinging it.
I think they do that against the Bengals. He should
have the ball for most of that game as well.
For my one hundred yard rusher. Let's go with Amrion
and Hampton against the New York Giants. The Giants run
dye not very good at all, and like we said,

(38:33):
Omario Hampton's going to get all the touches there. I mean,
they have Hassan Haskins, They're probably gonna, you know, sign
Videll back. So it's going to be ugly there. It's
gonna be all a Mariy and Hampton and then Romadonsay
against the Raiders. I mean the Raiders offense has been
playing pretty well here. Gino has been throwing the ball,
you know, around three touchdowns to Trade Tucker last week.

(38:56):
I think brock Bauer is a little more healthy with
this knee thing next week as well, so I expect
a little bit more of a back and forth, and
I highly doubt that Caleb Williams doesn't get sacked against
Bax Crosby and Company like he did against Dallas. So
a little more back and forth this week. I think
that could be a nice shootout game.

Speaker 3 (39:13):
By the way, Alto in the comments, totally right. I
definitely disappointed the masses when I set up one hundred
yard rusher. I didn't take Judkins, and I probably really
should consider doing that.

Speaker 1 (39:22):
You know what, I hope he goes off now now.
I really want to.

Speaker 3 (39:24):
I kind of want to do it, but it's just
that Jags lineup for McCaffrey with the touches is ridiculous.
But to your point, Judkins is also a great be
that's I kind of want to take it, but I'm
not going to.

Speaker 1 (39:35):

On Purpose with Jay Shetty

On Purpose with Jay Shetty

I’m Jay Shetty host of On Purpose the worlds #1 Mental Health podcast and I’m so grateful you found us. I started this podcast 5 years ago to invite you into conversations and workshops that are designed to help make you happier, healthier and more healed. I believe that when you (yes you) feel seen, heard and understood you’re able to deal with relationship struggles, work challenges and life’s ups and downs with more ease and grace. I interview experts, celebrities, thought leaders and athletes so that we can grow our mindset, build better habits and uncover a side of them we’ve never seen before. New episodes every Monday and Friday. Your support means the world to me and I don’t take it for granted — click the follow button and leave a review to help us spread the love with On Purpose. I can’t wait for you to listen to your first or 500th episode!
