Welcome to Sharper Square, presented by hard Rock Bet.
Speaker 2 (00:05):
We are a part of the Volume podcast network.
Speaker 1 (00:09):
This is the show that makes the square sharper and
makes the wise guys pay attention.
Speaker 2 (00:13):
I am Chad Melman.
Speaker 1 (00:14):
I am joined as always by my co host, my companion,
my cam Padre, my BFF Professional Better, Simon Hunter.
Speaker 2 (00:25):
Hehado, Simon Chad.
Speaker 3 (00:28):
How are we doing, dude?
Speaker 1 (00:29):
What a great day, What a fun weekend, What a
fun experience from Thursday through yesterday into today. Great games,
some games down to the wire. One of the games
that we are still paying attention to the Detroit Lions.
They are one of the teams we had in the contest.
We had them at minus six and a half.
Speaker 2 (00:51):
We got a shot.
Speaker 1 (00:52):
We got a small, infinitesimal only if you believe in
irrational optimism shot, and that one. We lost the Bills
minus ten and a half. We won the Panthers for
the game. We have spent a podcast career waiting to bet.
(01:13):
We won the Panthers plus three and a half at
home against Tampa, and we went with the Jags plus
three and a half on the road against the Broncos.
Speaker 2 (01:21):
Our last ones out.
Speaker 1 (01:23):
Kind of a mix of the Giants, the Colts tomorrow
night Tennessee, and Las Vegas. So you know, we could
have been better than we are as usual. We are
two and one, hanging on to a very thin thread
of hope with the Detroit Lions.
Speaker 2 (01:38):
Did you enjoy the day?
Speaker 3 (01:40):
Yeah, fun dad, great games. But that Troy Bett is
debt though unfortunately Pittsburgh missed the field goals, so oh.
Speaker 2 (01:46):
I didn't see that out. Yeah, it was jabbering.
Speaker 1 (01:48):
Well, the Troy Bett is dead and now they get
a chance to win, which just makes us annoyed because
we're both huge Bears fans.
Speaker 3 (01:54):
Right now, Yeah, we'll see crazy game. But yeah, all
the games today really fun game, crazy games, and you know,
not too much to say about the bad teams, right
there was like these a couple of bad teams that
were playing. I didn't really watch too much of those games,
but these high profile games. I felt like playoff games
were pretty insane. And yeah, the biggest shacker of the
(02:16):
day in my opinion, was just this Jaguars game. The
game we're going to talk about it.
Speaker 2 (02:21):
I just we're going to talk about that.
Speaker 3 (02:22):
I can't believe how that game went, and it's rare
where you take a dog in that spot that kept
getting bet by the pros against it, right, the pros
piled in that favorites and you know they got blown
out by double digits. So pretty pretty shocking result in
that one. But great games today, all right.
Speaker 1 (02:38):
So we won with the two dogs were down with
one favorite. We're going to lose with the other favorite
as soon as it's over in the Lions. Let's talk
about Carolina first, because, like I said, this was the
game we've been waiting our lives to bet. Anyone who
has listened to the show knows we have been backing
the Carolina Panthers forever.
Speaker 2 (03:01):
We committed to it.
Speaker 1 (03:02):
Today we said, this is the game that we have
earned ourselves the right to bet.
Speaker 2 (03:09):
And I gotta tell you, when it started, the.
Speaker 1 (03:12):
Bucks for a hot minute looked exactly like the team
that had all of its weapons, with Bucky Irving, with
Mike Evans with because Godwin like Baker looked good. But
the Panthers did what the Panthers do. And Bryce Young
(03:33):
continues to just be impressive under pressure, and Tetoa McMillan
was making unbelievable catches today and so to me, like
at the end of the half, Baker was only seven
ten for forty one yards, and the Carolina Panthers stopped
the Bucks inside the five yard line three straight times.
(03:54):
They had to settle for a field goal like the
Panthers were on one today and it was freaking glory.
Speaker 3 (04:00):
Yes, yeah, And it was both sides of the ball.
Their defense was hard, hitting, really rallied around the just
the home crowd like that. It for honestly the first time,
it feels like it's since Cam Newton's you know, fifteen
twenty sixteen run they Legit felt like that at a
home field advantage there right the offense, Baker trying to
switch plays and stuff. There's a few times where he'd
(04:21):
either try to check into a run or had to
use the time on the sideline just because you could
not hear over the crowd noise. And it was a
weird game though, just for Baker in that offense and
since that, I think a mecha. Buk had two targets.
He had one catch for forty yards. Mike Evans had
a ton of targets. He had like nine targets or
ten targets, and he didn't really do much with it. It
was just a really bizarre game. On the flip side,
(04:42):
Like you said, tedor Roy McMillan, how is he not
the rookie of the year right now? So yeah, I'm
shocked by what I've seen from this Panthers team. The
fact that, like we've talked about all year, they just
keep bouncing back. So pretty bizarre that we I've just
had this team have a letdown the next week really
(05:04):
show up. Like we said, both sides as well, that
felt like they dominated, especially that second half. So is
this Panthers organization and I don't know if it's next
week doesn't really matter, but it really does come down
to that final matchup with the Tampa Bay Books once again,
and they just look like the better team, this Panthers.
So I want to see do they just get rolled
next week? Chat and do we just back them once
again come week eighteen.
Speaker 1 (05:23):
Simon, Simon, I'm going to say it now. Next week,
Carolina Panthers are seven and a half point home underdogs
against the Seattle Seahawks. I don't see this team giving
an inch. I see this team wanting to build out.
Speaker 3 (05:41):
That's what they get you to do every time.
Speaker 1 (05:43):
I know, right by the way, did something just fall
in your house. It sounded it sounded or was that
just some sound effect?
Speaker 3 (05:51):
No, I have too many phones. One of my three
phones went off. Unfortunately, I don't know how I missed it.
Usually I'm pretty goodt muting this thing.
Speaker 2 (05:58):
It sounded like it was a drum set.
Speaker 1 (05:59):
It sounded like you were giving me like, uh, you know,
but bum or Matt Mitchell was playing playing, uh, playing
games with us. I do want to point out a
couple things about Bryce Young because after Tampa Bay scored
a touchdown to take the lead, Bryce Young had a
classic Bryce Young drive which is all the reasons why
we bet Bryce Young, which ended with him spinning and
(06:23):
stumbling and scrambling forward keeping his eyes up, then finding
Jatavian Sanders to take the lead, a ten play drive
that included a pinpoint, brilliant accurate pass on the back
shoulder and a one handed catch by Ted Rowe McMillan,
who also had a touchdown in that game, like he
(06:46):
was amazing. And then when it's tied three to ten,
left Bryce Young third down from his own thirty three
hits Cocher over the shoulder for another brilliant in the
bread basket throw thirty seven yards, gets into the thirty
four for uh, gets them to the thirty three yard
line for Tampa Bay and like they kicked the field goal,
(07:09):
they pick off Baker to end the game. Baker looked terrible,
like he was never in rhythm outside of those first
couple of drives.
Speaker 3 (07:16):
No need a few times where his legs saved him,
but overall, yeah, they just they just didn't look with
it consistently.
Speaker 1 (07:22):
Uh.
Speaker 3 (07:23):
Like we said, they've had all their weapons back, and
you know, every week it's been bizarre. A Mecha was
so good to start the year. They're literally down a
place for him having him be their number one, and
in a matchup like this, for him to have two targets,
it just doesn't make sense.
Speaker 2 (07:36):
And that, yeah makes sense.
Speaker 1 (07:37):
It's insane because he had one great catch that sort
of started to put him in position and then you
know the game was over after that.
Speaker 3 (07:45):
So yeah, no, it's I'm glad we stuck to it.
But it's also we always talked about it's about the
number where I hate to say it, but at the
two and a half, it was like, you know, not
as confident, but the three, that's where we wanted to
be at that one. So yeah, we got lucky for
our contest. We got the three and a half.
Speaker 1 (07:59):
I'm watching the Lines game out of the corner of
my eye right now. It's fourth and two for the
Lions with a minute thirty nine left, so we'll be
updating that. The Buffalo Bills were ten and a half
point favorites against the Cleveland Browns today. I think we
can both agree there were two games today where we
went against our instincts and bet on favorites that were
(08:23):
of a larger number, the Bills and the Lions. Betting
against the Cleveland defense. Betting against the Steelers in a
raw raw Mike Tomlin spot of a significant number and ooh,
there's some kind of flag. I think it's going to
be pass interference on the Steelers, so the Lines are
going to have the ball at midfield. The Bills should
(08:44):
have won this game thirty seven to ten, and they
just let the Browns stay in at quin Shawn Jenkins
left the game with a lower leg injury.
Speaker 2 (08:53):
He's cuted off.
Speaker 1 (08:54):
Shardoor Sanders left the game because his pinky nearly fell
off and then he had to come back in the
Bills should have put this team away a thousand different ways,
and they couldn't do it. When you watch that game,
were you frustrated? Were you angry?
Speaker 2 (09:11):
Were you like this is stupid? Like I felt all
those things watching this game.
Speaker 3 (09:17):
Yeah, Herry, I told you earlier that I had a
decent amount of money just simply on the Bills of
the money line. I thought that was cooked because, like
you said, everything was just going wrong for this Bills team.
And you know, at half, they're up twenty to ten,
getting the ball. We're both feeling pretty good. But yeah,
a little fear was okay, did Josh Allen break his
(09:39):
foot right before half? And he went and got X
rays and x rays were negative, And you know, I
don't know what you're thinking of it in my and
my mind like this isn't good. They're gonna play very
protective of Josh Allen now, and he's gonna play protective
of himself, and you saw a little bit of that.
But he was also just off target. It was a
bad It was just a bad half by Josh. Yeah,
he did not play well today and at the end
(10:00):
end of the day, we still should have covered, like
you said, a million different ways. They missed the extra
point and they had a drop touchdown in the back
of the end zone. That's eight points, so should have
landed right in eleven. Should have been a cover even
with all the other bs, and we couldn't get there. So,
you know, do I regret it? Obviously we want to
win bets here, but it's one of those that's I
(10:20):
was never going to help myself. I said it to you.
It's the Bills were the most public side, so usually right,
we usually blindly fade, especially in that spot, that opportunity,
and it's unfortunate where everything we said was true. The
Bills could run. I think they averaged six yards per care.
They did whatever they want running the ball. It just
didn't break our way. And Sanders I think he led
the Browns in rushing. He just had a couple of
(10:41):
big plays with those legs that basically kept them in it.
And yeah, we should have covered. But the Browns, you know,
they deserve the cover. They were in that game the
entire way. And this Bills team, it's bizarre. We all
think they're going to make our run of the Super Bowl,
but my god, just like a lot of these AFC teams,
they have a lot of glaring weaknesses. Can be exploited
by certain teams.
Speaker 2 (11:01):
Yeah, look like that.
Speaker 1 (11:02):
Before like the end of the first quarter, the Browns
were averaging nine yards per play before a Shador interception
where he made a bad pass against the guy's shoulder,
it popped up, it was intercepted. The Bills tie the game.
But the Browns never had a problem moving the ball.
(11:25):
Their only problem was that they had turnovers.
Speaker 2 (11:28):
The Bills.
Speaker 1 (11:29):
Meanwhile, like they had one hundred and three yards on
their first two drives, which were touchdowns. They had touchdowns
on their first three drives overall, they missed the extra point.
I made a note, I'm like this extra point. This
is going to hurt.
Speaker 2 (11:45):
By the way, the Steelers are down.
Speaker 1 (11:47):
The lines are down to the ten yard line right now.
They just had a huge screenplay to a man using
Brown I don't know if you're watching or not, so I'm
giving you the update. But you know they were averaging
ten yards per carry as well. James Cook is trying
to win the rushing title today. And then they could
not do anything again. The Shadur had a fourteen play,
(12:10):
eight minute drive to make it a twenty three to
seventeen game. And I know Matt Mitchell was irritated, like
the Bills seemed like they stopped trying because of his injury.
Three plays in a punt, two plays off a pick
for a field goal, seven plays only thirty six hours,
turnover on downs, punt. Then they're fourth and one in
the goal line, drop a pass in the Browns endel
(12:32):
with two forty seven left, and the guy drops the
ball and they got bailed out by a tripping penalty
which nobody saw. Simon, how many times did I see
plays today where I said to myself, if they would
just review every play from the booth and do the
(12:52):
instant replay or the instant whatever they're calling it, assisted review,
this would be a better game. You wouldn't have these
bullshit calls that actually have an impact.
Speaker 3 (13:02):
Yeah, But like you said, it's just it was a
bad Josh Allen day. We just we unfortunately we got
one of those days, like anytime he's gonna be twelve
and nineteen for one hundred and thirty yards, we're pretty
much dead. So he unfortunately did not live up to
the moment. And you know their Browns defense, they are
very good, but they just they got You know, if
you bet the Browns, it's a good cover by At
the end of the day, it's what are we gonna do? Chat?
(13:24):
It was? It was a bad bet tickness bill.
Speaker 1 (13:25):
So Detroit Lyons just took the lead with twenty two
seconds left. Matt Mitchell was going crazy because he's saying
that it was not a bad day for Josh Allen.
Speaker 2 (13:34):
He totally disagrees. I do too. There were some dreadful
mistakes by his teammates.
Speaker 1 (13:40):
Jacksonville at Denver, Oh wait, there might have been a
pelty on the lines. Jacksonville at Denver. Jacksonville was a
three and a half point road underdog Simon. This morning.
We saw the pros coming in on Denver. We had
an extended conversation. We saw the pros coming in on Denver.
(14:02):
We saw the pros coming in on New England. We
had a heavy debate about taking New England out, and
we were afraid to do it because we didn't want
to lose the six and a half on the Lions, which,
as usual, like the pivot point line, ended up meaning
nothing for us in the contest. Trevor Lawrence, on the
first scoring drive of this game, made two ridiculous passes.
(14:27):
One time he was running left throwing right in the
middle of the field on a dime, the second tight
coverage in the corner of the end zone for the
first touchdown, And I'm like, he's playing a different game
in the past five weeks.
Speaker 2 (14:41):
There's no reason to hate him anymore.
Speaker 3 (14:46):
We never hated him. We just didn't understand it where
it's like he has so much talent, why can he
not be consistent? And you know, the offense, like we've
talked about, there are guys wide open, like the scheme
is so great where you know he just plays within
and doesn't do his crazy stuff. And uh, you know,
Lee and Coman talked about coming of the season using
Trevor Lawrence's legs, and I feel like we've seen that
(15:08):
these last couple of weeks. They've really leaned into the
QB sneak, especially in the red zone area. So you
another rushing touchdown today, three passing touchdowns, Like it's it's crazy.
I think he's like fifty to one for MVP. I
know he won't win it, right, we're too late in
a year, but there is a path they get the
one seed. He could somehow. You know, if Stafford doesn't
(15:28):
get the one seed, he's a wildcard. They don't really
give the MVP to wildcard teams, so there is an
avenue like I'm not not saying to out of the
realm just because you know, Trevor Lawrence has played so
well down the stretcher and this was a dominant performance
not just by the offense, with the defense as well.
So you know, bo Knicks, if you were someone that
back to Broncos and that you got bow next, he
was just off in a lot of passes and yeah,
(15:50):
not consistent. But I don't know like you about you,
but I think anyone watching this bow Knicks has reached
a level of I was a little scared when they're
they're down fourteen. He had the ball and it's like,
oh my gosh, this is what Bonix does, and we're
going we're gonna get a guy here. But you know, luckily,
like we've talked about the Shaguars defense, they're for real.
They really did shut him down, so they they stepped out.
Speaker 1 (16:13):
Yeah, they were awesome, And I definitely was doing the
Gambler's math in my head when it was thirty four
seventeen at the start of the fourth quarter, I'm like, Okay,
they have to score three touchdowns against the Jags defense,
which has been playing lights out over the next fifteen
(16:33):
minutes of this game. They need the ball three times.
They got to score three actual touchdowns in order to
cover this game. And in my head, I was still thinking,
it's bo Nicks. It's been a crazy year. They flashed
a graphic with his stats when he's behind in the
fourth quarter and like one oh six passer rating seventeen touchdowns,
(16:55):
Like all the glory to boon Nicks. But Trevor Lawrence
did his thing. You just mentioned him running with the ball.
The best play of the game for him might have
been They've got a third down. They need to convert
it because they want to keep the ball away. They're
up two touchdowns. It's like five minutes left in the game.
(17:16):
He realizes that the Broncos lose contain. He runs to
the spot and then keeps going and then sees he's
about a yard short and before he can get tackled,
just dives. He superman's for the first down.
Speaker 2 (17:30):
Got it?
Speaker 1 (17:31):
That was the game, Like the Broncos were not going
to be able to score enough points if they got.
Speaker 2 (17:37):
The ball back after that.
Speaker 1 (17:39):
And by the way, Simon the very next play, What
have we gotten so mad at Trevor Lawrence about this
year not being able to snap the ball without getting
delay a game in critical situations. Next play he got
the ball snapped with like one second left. It was
he was awesome.
Speaker 2 (17:56):
He was awesome.
Speaker 3 (17:58):
That was crazy, was surreal. I couldn't believe. I'm out good.
He was playing for us and now we were two
of his bigger haters this year and he is really
turned around that midseason whatever happened. They've just been the
class of the class. And I said, come of this game,
it's like, I don't think these teams are that much different.
I don't. I think most of us still agree. They're
not fourteen points better than this Denver team. No, but
(18:19):
the Jags now I think they're gonna catch you with
respect now that they're going to be a real COUD
tender in the playoffs. They don't have many weaknesses. They're
a complete team for sure.
Speaker 1 (18:27):
Look the key point here, and this is where I
think the Jags and Liam Kohane stood their ground and
proved they can play with anyone in the AFC. That
opening drive they had of the second half, they're up
seventeen to ten. The Broncos have the ball, they get
a defensive pass interference, they get a personal foul, and
(18:49):
they give up a forty yard touchdown run to PJ.
Speaker 2 (18:51):
Harvey, who broke like four tackles.
Speaker 1 (18:53):
And then they just pushed him into the end zone
because they tried to force a fumble instead of tackling him.
The very next drive, Trevor Lawrence goes five for six
for thirty five yards. Seventy five yards on the drive,
takes up time, scores a touchdown.
Speaker 2 (19:09):
They go up twenty four to seventeen.
Speaker 1 (19:11):
He was thirteen and fifteen for like one hundred and
fifty and a touchdown in the second half. Just brilliant.
I'm so on the Trevor Lawrence bandwagon. I don't know
who said they didn't like Trevor Lawrence. It wasn't us,
because we love Trevor Lawrence. Remember when we voted for
him for when we bet on him for MVP four
years ago.
Speaker 2 (19:29):
I think we're back on that train.
Speaker 3 (19:32):
Yeah, it's just crazy coming to this game and just
the fact that he was my only true concern and
he just played at at a crazy high level against
such a good defense. It really really was so impressive.
Speaker 2 (19:42):
So this this Lions game is not over yet for
some reason.
Speaker 3 (19:45):
I don't know what they're getting another free play. I
don't know what happened.
Speaker 1 (19:48):
It's insane, but they're not going to cover the six
and a half regardless.
Speaker 2 (19:52):
And this was a real lose.
Speaker 3 (19:55):
We're rooting on our Bears futures here.
Speaker 2 (19:57):
Game's over. The game's over.
Speaker 3 (20:00):
Just lost, so crazy.
Speaker 1 (20:02):
This was a weird game. First thirty minutes of the game,
it was ten to three. Key play changed everything. Kenneth
Gainwell a the Steelers have the ball at the end
of the first half. They had a third and ten convert,
third and eleven convert, multiple short third downs convert, and
(20:23):
then then Aaron Rodgers just throws a Hail Mary esque
like past to Kenneth Gainwell. Alexandzeloni tackles him while he's
trying to catch it. The ball lands on Gainwell's arm,
he catches it, Angeloni doesn't touch him. Game one gets
up and scores a touchdown. It's ten ten. The Lions
(20:47):
were done after that, like they in the third quarter.
They had the ball for three plays, negative three yards
into safety like that was it?
Speaker 3 (20:55):
Yeah, just a bizarre world. We just get we got
crushed again. But the going again the voodoo that is
Tomlin and bizarre like that catch. It literally hit his
form and his other hand was in just this position
to keep it so it never ticks the ground. And yeah,
they a wear a thal to pick it up and
run knowing that he hadn't been touched. He got touched
(21:17):
before he had the ball. It was just an incredible play.
And yeah, just you know what we talked about all
the time, the Pittsburgh wins, they don't make sense. Detroit
outplayed them in every way, you know, stupid penalties or
you know, going for the fourth down and not getting it.
It was just it was one of those games for
Detroit and came and blame their defense, like you said,
their defense, you know, they don't give it up.
Speaker 2 (21:38):
They couldn't get him off the field on third down.
They could not like that.
Speaker 3 (21:42):
Other than that stupid safety, they'd only given up, including
that stupid fluky touchdown. Thirteen points basically heading into the
fourth quarter, and then you're right, Warner, you know, had
bust off a huge run and opened up the floodgates
and yeah, there that like you were talking about that
touchdown drive They had three different times. They had rogers
in third and ten or third and twelve, and he
picked up those third downs to go get that touchdown
(22:05):
before half. So I agree with you on that, but
I just thought the offense laid a total leg like
they just look at the sports. You know, Golf had
a really bad game. I mean, Romo says a lot
of stupid shit, but the stupidest thing he said this
season was golf is an MVP discussion. No one has
had any type of discussion about golf being an MVP,
(22:26):
let alone. Now the man is on an eight and
seven team might not even make the playoffs. So that
was just a bizarre world. But yeah, this this Pittsburgh team,
I don't know how they do it. Chat, It's crazy,
like they just they have these type of games and yeah,
really impressive winning, you know, like you said, another season,
Tomlin somehow gets over the five hundred humps. It's crazy.
(22:47):
So I can't believe it.
Speaker 2 (22:49):
Unbelievable.
Speaker 1 (22:50):
Aaron Rodgers was so accurate on so many passes getting
the ball downfield. Again, here's what's going to be interesting
to me. So DK Metcalf towards the end of the
first half got into it with some fan who was
leaning over the railing on the Steelers sideline, and they
had video of DK Metcalf taking a swipe at this fan.
Speaker 2 (23:15):
No one in the field saw it, the referees.
Speaker 1 (23:17):
Didn't see it, but they did make an announcement on
the show on the game that there was going to
be some kind of punishment from the league. Who knows
what it'll be. DK Metcalf suspended next week. Like, as
we're thinking about the week seventeen lines, do we need
to look ahead and say, all right, is he going
to have DK Metcalf next week? Aaron Rodgers. I don't
(23:38):
know if it's going to be interesting because there was
definitely an altercation with a fan with him taking a
swipe at the guy on the sideline.
Speaker 2 (23:46):
I don't know if you saw that at all.
Speaker 3 (23:47):
I did immediately in or it made me think of chat.
I missed the good old days of snitches get stitches
that had nothing to do with anything on the field.
No one saw it. He was off talking to this fan.
The guy said something I'm gonna guess super offensive that
he probably would have drop the guy. He smacked him,
and immediately everyone was like start putting the fingers. Oh,
(24:08):
this guy's gonna get in trouble, So I I hate it.
It's got you gotcha culture, but he should be punished.
You can't be smacking fans whatever they say in the stands.
You gotta do the old fashioned way, tell security, and
you got to tell us that again. But dude, I'm
I hate it. People need to be smacking their mouths.
Some people just say stuff. And yeah, apparently this guy
held up his jersey to get him come over there
(24:29):
and then said something to him, which is just is.
Speaker 2 (24:32):
That what happened?
Speaker 3 (24:33):
Yeah, crazy people are just so crazy. So yeah, he
could be suspended. I mean, I'll look at their schedule
real quick. I think they end with the Ravens, right,
so if it's the next game, right, like you're saying,
that's best best case scenario. So I'll be interested in
the NFL does if he says, hey, man, this guy
said either racial slur or something about my family. Are
(24:56):
they really gonna suspend him? I don't know. It's good.
It's it's a tough spot for the NFL, but they
I have to just because you can't have players smack
the fans in the face. We know.
Speaker 1 (25:03):
Meanwhile, the Lions, they just looked terrible, like it's you know,
it's interesting Romo says what he says. But when they
were showing the graphics up like Jared Goff twenty nine
touchdown passes, five interceptions, whatever, mournering yards top five in
all categories. If you had said to me, is Jared
(25:24):
Goff having a good year? I would have said absolutely not.
How many times have we said on the show the
Lions don't seem right, and like today they just they
didn't seem right at all, Like Jamior Gibbs couldn't get
it going, Jared Goff couldn't get it going.
Speaker 2 (25:39):
They didn't.
Speaker 1 (25:40):
They didn't have the ball past their own ten yard
line until less than ten minutes left in the fourth
quarter when we're talking about the second half, like they
were just terrible today. So yeah, listen, it's a Bears division.
(26:01):
I think we can agree. So I don't even need
to know why we're I don't even know why we're
talking about the Lions.
Speaker 3 (26:07):
I just know better for the Lions fans, it's like
the NFL. Your windows literally two to three years and
then it's just over, so pretty brutal.
Speaker 2 (26:14):
It's tough.
Speaker 1 (26:14):
I mean, if they can get their offensive line fixed.
I still think they have enough offensive talent to make
it go, but their offensive line isn't as good this year.
They've had issues on the interier all year long, and
this year they were playing with the backup center, and
even on that play where Goff was tackled in the
end zone and there was a safety, part of the
problem is the timing on the play was off because
(26:35):
the snap was at his ankles. And so they've just
had the same issues this year that have come up
again and again and again, and they haven't been as
effective in the high leverage, high risk situations. We're two
and two on the day. We got the New England
Patriots plus three and a half tonight against the Baltimore Ravens.
(26:56):
It's going to be exciting before we get to the rest.
Speaker 2 (26:58):
Of the games.
Speaker 1 (26:59):
The ones that don't made it in that certainly if
we had chosen those instead of the losers before. And oh,

All right, so I'm looking at my phone right now
because one of the questions we have is about Tyler
Shock and the sayings who crushed the Jets today, and
he had another great game. But I wanted to see
where Tetro McMillan was at, and we talked about him
(28:58):
a little earlier in the show. He had ten catchers
for seventy three yards and a touchdown. I'm sorry, he
had six catchers for seventy three yards, ten targets and
a touchdown. How are you feeling about Tyler Shock versus
Tedo and McMullen McMillan right now?
Speaker 3 (29:18):
I would still give it to McMillan, just because he's
been more consistent obviously throughout the whole season. But yeah,
the shuck if shuck, like I keep saying, if he
wins out and he keeps plump the numbers putting out,
it's gonna be really hard not to give it to him.
It's just the harder position to play. And he keeps winning.
It's really impressive and he's just consistent. Like today, you know,
I think he threw for two hundred in the first half,
no touchdowns on the second half. You know, it was
(29:40):
really great pass the ball again, I think he threw
four to three yards and had great rushes and it's
just it's bizarre like watching him, I just can't believe
he's so he's this good consistent for this Saints team.
I just remember that they took him the second round.
I was just like, that's it feels like a bizarre pick.
Or maybe it was the third round, whatever it was.
I just felt like it was a reach. And to me,
the kids been by by far are the best Crook.
Even though you know Cambore played well today, he did win. Yeah,
(30:04):
I think that Shucks is playing just as well. So yeah,
I just looked at the only thing I could see
up right now is MVP. I am looking to see
if they do update what Schuck's odds were. They were
like sixteen to one or fourteen to one coming today,
But for MVP odds. Trevor Lawrence I talked about he
was fifty five to one literally twenty minutes before we
started the podcast. He's down to forty to one.
Speaker 2 (30:24):
Wow.
Speaker 3 (30:25):
So, like I think pros are going to think see
the same thing as me. I don't really think this
guy's gonna win it. But what is the last four games?
I think he has fourteen total touchdowns, no turnovers. It's
it's crazy. So you know, I said he'd played against
a pretty soft schedule. This was the number one defense
statistically of football, and he really showed out. We said
(30:46):
three touchdowns one rushing. It's three passing, one rushing. Crazy crazy,
crazy World War Living. And right now Jags potentially going
to be the one seed.
Speaker 2 (30:54):
What are Kaylen Williams' MVP ads right now?
Speaker 3 (31:02):
I don't even know if they're on the board. Brother, Oh,
they are eighty to one. That's actually a lot higher
than I thought. Eighty to one, because he could You're right,
he could be the one seed.
Speaker 2 (31:11):
But they could be the one seed.
Speaker 1 (31:12):
And if they're the one seed, propelled thereby what we
saw on Saturday night, all of a sudden, it's freaking magical.
Speaker 2 (31:21):
We're going to get to.
Speaker 3 (31:22):
Business stats like he could have if he had played
better start the year, but they were so run heavy
for the first eight weeks. I think I'm still a
mentality of like, he could be your guys first four
thousand yard passer, but I don't think your head coach
is gonna let him sling it. I think he just
wants to keep running the ball. So it's a unique
spot for this Bears offense.
Speaker 2 (31:41):
Listen.
Speaker 1 (31:42):
One of the games we left out today Minnesota at
the New York Giants. The line of the Giants in
the contest was two and a half, and we were
very disciplined on this one. We just didn't like it
at anything lower than three, thank freaking God, because the
Giants were a train wreck like they It was just
a comedy of airs. The Giants went for it early
(32:04):
in the first half on fourth and five in the
red zone. They get sacked. Next series, JJ McCarthy throws
a pick. The Giants ran ten of their first eleven
plays in Vikings territory, did not score in the first quarter,
and then they had to pick six against the Vikings,
who were in the Giants side inside the Giants five
(32:26):
yard line. They had a pick six against J McCarthy
called back because abdual Carter lined up in the neutral zone.
The next series, Darth throws a pick, the Vikings score
a touchdown fourteen point swing. JJ McCarthy didn't even finish
the game and the Viking and the Giants could not
(32:46):
score against the Vikings and ended up giving them the
game winning field bal What a pathetic performance.
Speaker 3 (32:54):
Yeah, and it was. It was bizarre. Dart was seven
of thirteen for thirty three yards, or as Matt Mitchell
looks to say, a pretty good game. I don't know,
pretty bizarre in my opinion, Like I don't know why
they weren't letting him pass the ball at all. They
were running well, so I guess they just leaned into that.
And you said, we lost us a minute. They went
for it on fourth and five in the first quarder.
(33:15):
It was very bizarre. It's like, Okay, I guess they're
gonna be super aggressive this whole game, but they weren't
super game, so I don't know what that thinking was.
And like you said that when they called back that
touchdown on him being off sides, and it never gave
us the camera angle to show us him actually being
the line up of the neutro zone. I was just fuman.
I was like, my god, they're gonna kill us here.
(33:36):
But yeah, the plus three, like I gave it on,
Simon says, we just with these bad teams, you gotta
get every point you can. And yeah, thank god we
not take it two and a half because that would
have stung. That was just a brutal, brutal NOE cover.
It just felt like you said the Giant, especially once
the backup came in for Minnesota. He had two insane
throws on third down to Jefferson that basically sealed that
(33:59):
that them so just insane game altogether.
Speaker 1 (34:02):
Simon, you know, it would fix calls that feel like
they're wrong on the field if every play could be
immediately adjudicated by officials who are watching the replay and
come down with a booth review that says this actually.
Speaker 2 (34:20):
Wasn't a penalty.
Speaker 1 (34:22):
It almost feels arbitrary what they're choosing to do it
for and what they're not doing it for.
Speaker 2 (34:26):
It's just stupid.
Speaker 1 (34:27):
Just do it for everything, and if the play's wrong,
fix it on the field right away. Guests who covered
the fourteen and a half point spread against the Houston Texans.
I take the blame for this. We were having the
conversation this morning. I said, don't we have to put
the Raiders in? And you said to me, if you
(34:49):
want to own it, have the courage do it. I
did not have the courage. Part of me didn't have
the courage because I just didn't want to lose the
Lions line.
Speaker 2 (34:57):
That was really it.
Speaker 3 (34:59):
We got to stop attach to him thember we learned
that last Yes attached, That's.
Speaker 2 (35:03):
What I mean.
Speaker 1 (35:03):
And so like, I didn't want to take the Lions
out because I liked the line, and we knew we
were going to replace the Patriots. We weren't going to
replace the Lions anyways, and so like, I just didn't
want to lose six and a half.
Speaker 2 (35:17):
And I will not lie to you. When Gino threw that.
Speaker 1 (35:20):
Just atrocious pick six to start the game to Stingley Junior,
like he basically threw it right to him, and I'm like, ah, fuck,
thank God, Like this bet is dead and the goddamn Raiders.
Speaker 2 (35:34):
The Raiders defense made CJ. Stroud look like CJ.
Speaker 1 (35:37):
Stroud as he had been before he got injured, which
was discombobulated inaccurate playing office heels.
Speaker 2 (35:44):
This whole offense looked terrible.
Speaker 1 (35:47):
They won twenty three twenty one Without that pick, the
Raiders win the game.
Speaker 3 (35:52):
Yeah, I again, I wish I was more confident with you.
I literally bet this game just because that trend we
talked about the shoutout yes went to and oh today,
obviously I much rather wish we had Cincinnati in than
any game. It's like we were all over that one.
We loved that, we knew Joe was going to bounce back.
That was also horrible and miss. But yeah, the Raiders one.
I said on Tuesday, this is the type of game
where you had to bet the money line and bet
(36:13):
the Raiders and it's gonna make zero sense. And I
wish I'd kept that confidence because when I woke up
today and I looked at it, it's like, how is
Gino gonna move the ball against this Houston defense? Like
it's gonna take an absolute miracle, And they got it.
Gent showed out. This was an incredible gent game and.
Speaker 2 (36:31):
Two touchdowns, big touchdowns.
Speaker 3 (36:34):
Two touchdowns, one twenty eight, rushing a sixty yard reception
with it for a touchdown, and just really dominant. So
you know this this Texans team. They were due for
a letdown game, a little bit of a stinker, and
they still found a way to win, which is really
impressive by them. So yeah, it was a good read
by you, And yeah, I'm just like you. I regret
not getting in there, But like you said, probably only other,
(36:57):
only other, only team we would have taken out, we
would have we would have lost the line seven and
a half anyway, we would have had the Patriots outs.
We haven't send here three and two, which that hurts
to know because now we've got to stay up and
sweat tonight.
Speaker 2 (37:07):
I know, it's so frustrating.
Speaker 1 (37:10):
It's every freaking week we can't get the right games
out for the games that we want to put in.
Speaker 2 (37:15):
The other one that we sort of just blew off.
Speaker 1 (37:20):
And I told you, I ha bet the money line
on the Tennessee Titans as underdogs against the Kansas City Chiefs,
and neither of us really considered putting into the contest
because the line had moved so much. We just sort
of felt like we weren't getting the best of it.
And I only bet the money line kind of like
a as a flyer. I was just like, I don't know,
(37:42):
but this Chiefs team seems to not have anybody playing
who's on their first ring anymore. So I'm just going
to bet the Titans money line. And from the beginning
the Titans were all over this. And then Gardner Minshew
went out midway through the game with a turn acl
I think, yeah, I just.
Speaker 3 (38:01):
Had the under in it. I just didn't even want
to watch it. So, yeah, it was good read by
you and the other pros. The pros hammered this Tennessee
game and shocking there were some pros on the Chiefs
like that game did get back up to minus three
and a half. Today was a unique spot. To a
lot of sports books I talked to, they needed the
Chiefs today. It was a rare opportunity that you know,
(38:21):
they the public was all over Tennessee, and they came
through a big way. Like you said, they won twenty
six to nine, and Minshew gets knocked out, so it's
like a nine six game a half. I don't if
Mintchell got knocked out before the half or right in
the beginning of the third quarter, but whenever it was,
they brought the half. Yeah, like you said, not that
the defense gave up, but I fe like anytime they
tuned back. In this Tennessee game, they're getting big runs
(38:41):
by Pollard and that just you know, once the Chiefs
defense goes, that whole team goes. They're just not a
good offense. So yeah, it's it's bizarre. It is truly bizarre.
The Chiefs lose by double digits. Tennessee Titans, who was
that their third win? Just keep ruining their own draft position.
Speaker 1 (39:00):
The Giants, the Raiders, the Browns. Those are the teams.
The Titans might be up there, they might be top four,
the Giant notes, the Giants, the Raiders, the Browns, and
the Jets right now, and the Giants have number one.
I think I forgot who's got number two, But the
Browns have three, and so it could be interesting to
see who's going to try to trade up number one
(39:22):
to get.
Speaker 3 (39:22):
It's Giants Raiders, So yeah, right, it's good. Giants Raiders
are the both two and thirteen teams.
Speaker 1 (39:28):
So what are the What are the Raiders going to
give up to go get for Nano Mendoza. That's the question,
because the Giants will trade down unless the Giants are
like screw it, will trade Jackson Dart get some more
pieces and take from Nano Mendoza.
Speaker 3 (39:42):
If you believe in your heart of arts, shat it's him.
You can get them minus two hundred a lot of
books right now to be number one pick. It's probably
the best you're going to get because I think the
kid's going to kill the interview.
Speaker 2 (39:51):
Process, so, oh my god, he's going to crush it.
Speaker 3 (39:54):
Like you said, it'll be interesting to see who who
ends up, because if it is the Raiders with the
number one pick, you know that's could they do something stupid? Sure,
But if it's the Giants, I could easily see them
trading out or who knows, maybe they don't like Dart
and how he plays. It's gonna be really interesting draft.
Speaker 1 (40:11):
By the way, next week New York Giants and the
Las Vegas Raiders are playing each other.
Speaker 2 (40:19):
Wow, that's greazy and isn't.
Speaker 1 (40:20):
That crazy The number on that game Las Vegas is
a one and a half point home underdog against the
New York Giants Raiders Giants Tennessee, those are the games
we missed.
Speaker 2 (40:35):
Bummer bumber, Hi Simon, who are you nominating? Shame on you?
Speaker 3 (40:42):
Ooh, Chad, I've been waiting. I was gonna say something
this morning, not even that I was gonna say something
last week when we took Minnesota Vikings to beat the Cowboys.
Shame on you, Dallas Cowboys. Shame, shame, shame, another failure
(41:02):
of a season. Unbelievable. As an absolute Dallas hater, it
doesn't get much better than this, this latest run. Because
they do love their quarterback. They do. They talk about Dak.
I mean never in the amount of times I heard
Dak is better than Jalen Hurts. What are we two
playoff wins for Dak But he's about to be thirty
one years old at this point. The excuses get pretty
(41:24):
thin Chad. So the shame I can't stop shaming him enough.
This this Dallas team, unique, unique spot for them today.
We joked about it. I remember, not that you love Dallas,
but you were talking about you like Dallas, and we
joked there's no way you could bet on Dallas today
knowing that they had nothing to play for, and they
looked like it in that second half. So just on
(41:46):
microcosm of their season, total failure organizationally, and just gotta
shame them, just the This big bad wolf of the
nineties has just totally done nothing now for thirty five
years and like I always joke, if they want to
enjoy their Super Bowls, you got to plug in the VHS,
put in the tape. That's the world you're living in Dallas.
Speaker 2 (42:11):
That is so that is so so true. My shame
of the week has to be the.
Speaker 1 (42:17):
Lions, especially in that final two minute drive for the Steelers.
They had so many chances to get off the field
in that drive and they could not figure it out,
playing against a forty two year old quarterback and the
most important receiver for him on that drive was Adam Thielen,
(42:40):
who joined the team like two weeks ago. It was
the perfect example of how veterans play football when there's
chaos on the field and everyone tenses up a little
bit and they know exactly what to do because they've
been in that position a thousand times. There were multiple
players on that drive where they found open in the
(43:00):
zone and the Lions could not figure out how to
stop this team again and again and again. That that
was the ballgame. That drive was the ballgame, and they
could not get out the field. So shame on the
Detroit Lions. I think that was their season. I like,
they're not They're not going to make the playoffs. Right now,
you're gonna need ten wins to make the playoffs in
(43:21):
the NFC if you're not in the NFC South.
Speaker 2 (43:24):
So that was it. That was the Lion season right there,
and it's over.
Speaker 3 (43:29):
For loyal listeners, who are so loyal listeners to tonight
that ar Lawrence mep stuff is crazy right now. I
just got a text that he is down at thirty
to one at a couple of big books. So the
one book named after Donkey Kong, if you know what
I'm saying, so available for forty to one if you
want to go cretit. So I'm I'm going to do.
As soon as I got this call, I'm gonna throw
(43:49):
a little bit on it. Just it's I know it's
not going to happen, but we always say just in case.
It's like the shuck bet it's it's crazy.
Speaker 2 (43:57):
Yeah, you never know.
Speaker 3 (43:58):
Yeah, might as well third TM twenty bucks on it,
because you never know.
Speaker 2 (44:02):
Who's your hero of the week.
Speaker 3 (44:03):
Oh, this is gonna be pretty pretty easy for your boy, Chad,
the Philadelphia Eagles my hero of the week, Chad, and
I try not to be too bad. I let you
have your morning with your your bears talk even though
they didn't clinch a division like my Eagles did, and
I just let you have your moment because I was
gonna go so homerrific later today being my hero of
(44:26):
the week. It's I keep talking about, it's the best.
It's the best run in my lifetime, like these two
super Bowls the past seven years, and we just are
one hump these last twenty years. We just couldnot win
the division back to back. And that's why even coming
to the year, I remember I had tons of friends
being like, how are you giving out the Cowboys as
(44:46):
one of your best bets to win the division. It's like, well,
I'm betting big on the Eagles. The Cowboys is just
and this always happens, and it's not gonna be Washington,
That's gonna be the one that's gonna put us scarey
do so it's gonna be the Cowboys. But this year
it was all Philadelphia and just all the stats, the
crazy stats, just the fact that you know, let me
(45:07):
look at it. In two thousand and four to two
thousand and three went back to back to Eagles. That
is the last time chat that any team in this
division went back to beck It was Giants Eagles, Kyleway, Giants,
blah blah, all these different teams. I think the Cowboys.
We've basically been going back and forth in for years now,
but finally did it. Won back to back divisional titles.
(45:27):
Got a couple of AJ stats I'll give out real
quick because it's never any amount about. Oh, I wish
AJ was on the passing team. Blah blah blah. The
most receiving yards in Eagles history for their first four seasons.
AJ Brown with four thousand, eight hundred receiving yards. The
next one the Shawn Jackson at four thousand, The next
one Devonte Smith at four thousand. So whenever, somehow bat
(45:51):
our passing offense is a j Brown not only set
our franchise record, would beat it by eight hundred receiving yards.
Jalen Hurts took a time.
Speaker 1 (46:00):
Amazing thing about that is as bad as your passing
offense is.
Speaker 2 (46:03):
DeVante Smith is third.
Speaker 3 (46:05):
Yeah, now, because it's not a bad passing offense. Yes,
people's expectations are ridiculous. Jalen Hurts been getting beat up
this year. He is the first quarterback at NFL history
to make the playoffs and four consecutive seasons with a
different offensive cordierd than those four seasons. Jalen Hurts is
the six quarterback in NFL history to reach a playoffs
in his first five seasons as a starter. Pretty pretty
(46:28):
rare opportunity for him. And Nick Seriani a guy I
need to give a ton of props too, just because
I was one of his biggest haters. I hated the
guy's personality. He just irked me. He's a great coach.
He is one of three Super Bowl era head coaches
to make the playoffs five times, win the division three
and go to the super Bowl two different times. The
(46:48):
other two Bill Cowhard and Chuck Knox. So Chuck nol
so pretty pretty rarefied air. And yeah, I just as
an Eagles fan, is a big time home er. I
do mysow that brings to the show because people hate
Eagles fans. We're probably gonna knock out in Round one.
But I believe we're going to win the super Bowl, obviously,
but this this could be peak by the fact that
(47:09):
we won our division and the Cowboys were eliminated with
three games less. I was party all Saturday when the
Bears won their game. Chat it was Iceland the cake,
It was it was a great night for your guys.
So yeah, here of the week, Philaelpia Eagles organization.
Speaker 1 (47:23):
Well, listen, you know, I love the Eagles as much
as I would like to hate over. I have a
huge affinity for the Eagles between you know, doing Invincible
with Vince Papali, doing the show with you, having spent
so much time in Philly because of my kid going
to Drexel. I love the way people in Philly speak.
I love going to the Eagles games. I love the
(47:44):
atmosphere in Philly around sports. I'm all in, Fly Eagles,
Fly Go Eagles. I'm happy for you. I'm happy for
the town. I'm happy for Nick Sirianni. I'm happy for
Jalen Hurts.
Speaker 2 (47:58):
I love it.
Speaker 1 (47:59):
I love that defense, I love that offense. I love
that special teams, I love that offensive line. I'm with
you one hundred percent. But there's no way you're taking
away my hero moment from Kayleb Williams. Because tonight, tonight,
with the Detroit Lions lost, the Chicago Bears have clinched
(48:19):
a playoff spot in the twenty twenty five playoffs, Kayleb
Williams drops a dime in the bucket from fifty yards
out with a point zero six inch line of separation
to Dj Moore, who had gone out of the game
(48:40):
because he had been hitting the back. Without Luther Burden Junior,
without Roma Donza, with a offense that was struggling for
most of the night, they come back from ten points
down in the final minutes.
Speaker 2 (48:56):
They recover an on sidekick.
Speaker 1 (48:58):
Because this team believes good better best, they never let
it rest until the game is over. And you know
what Caleb Williams did today, Simon, what do you do?
Caleb Williams on a football Sunday. He could have been
hanging around watching red Zone seeing how the games played out.
(49:22):
He went underto the community, did some community service with
the people in the city of Chicago. And what was
he wearing on his head? Tell me a cheese greater hat.
Fuck the Packers, bear down. Caleb Williams Hero of the week,
(49:44):
Go Bears, old timer, look at us, look at us
just being happy, Simon says, was New York Giants plus three.
Chad's choice is New England plus three and a half
brass balls was Washington plus six and a half, Rock
and a hard play Buffalo minus ten and a half.
What the fuck talk about it. Come down here, sharp
versus square.
Speaker 2 (50:05):
Chad had Tennessee, I think, and you had the Rams.
Speaker 3 (50:11):
No I had. Unfortunately I had Buffalo, Buffalo.
Speaker 1 (50:14):
I had Tennessee. Our favorite parlay was New Orleans, yes,
Detroit no. Cincinnati, yes, Buffalo minus five and a half no,
Dallas No. Our underdog parlay Tennessee, yes, Arizona no. New
York Giants no. Jacksonville Yes. New England is tonight.
Speaker 3 (50:35):
All right.
Speaker 2 (50:35):
I mentioned.
Speaker 1 (50:38):
A couple of the lines for Week seventeen, Carolina seven
and a half point underdog at home against Seattle. That
would immediately jumped out at me. You said, be wary
because of you know, will Carolina have anything to play for?
(50:58):
I don't think Carolina knows how to pull back. That's
not the panther away.
Speaker 3 (51:03):
That and just they're up and down. The up and
downs we've had from this year, they just they right
every other game they lose, and I've been making money
off It's it's very it's been very lazy, lazy betting,
but it's been it's been hitting really nice. Yeah, it's
it's gonna be a tough week. Like I don't want
to waste too much time the Christmas games because Rob's
we're going go really hard of them on Tuesday. But
you know, the books are gonna be begging for Washington
(51:25):
and Minnesota money. The Washington are at home against Dallas.
They're a plus five and a half right now. I mean,
I'm probably gonna take them. We'll find out who the
quarterback is and that's what I'll take my position because
I'm I'm obviously hesitant to backup. But Dallas look like
a team that was totally checked out today. And you know,
in Minnesota plus five and a half against the Lion's
team they already beat earlier in the year. The public
(51:46):
is gonna do what they did today, right They're gonna
hammer the Lions once again, So you could be patiently
that one. I think we'll go to get the six
two Saturday games. Don't really have a great read on
either of them yet, Like it's it's begging me to
take the Chargers. Chargers are minus one and half at
home against the Texans. We've talked to Texans. It feels
like they've just been getting away with the one and
today was a day they should have got caught and
(52:07):
they still wanted. So maybe I'm overreacting and they are
legit team. I should just take them as a dog here,
Like that's usually when we back CJ. Stroud and usually
fade Herbert as a favorite. Yeah, we didn't even talk
about Herbert, but again another week Herbert as a dog covered.
The stats are just crazy and I think it's thirteen
and two against us against the spread as an underdog.
Then the night game on that Saturday is green Bay
(52:30):
Packers versus the Ravens. Yeah, some books opened green Bay
plus two plus two and a half. Really gonna be
interested what that number is. If it's still available, you
can still get it tonight. If the Ravens do win
or you know, say they do show up and they
blow them out. This easy to go up to minus
three minus three and a half for this Ravens team.
(52:50):
So just early indication. I'll be patient. I want to
be on Green Bay. Like I think Malik Willis is
pretty good. Yeah, so that's a really interesting one. Now
let's get to the bets. I do want to make Chad.
You know, I know people are gonna annoyed of it,
but I'm gonna keep going to this well of this
Colts team. Uh, it's I know, the history of them
(53:12):
the Jacks. But they're plus seven right now, just early line.
I'll grab that. They're plus seven at home against the Jaguars.
I just people don't have to rush to get it
because I get the seven and a half. But I'm
gonna grab it now just in case they do upset
the forty nine ers, that number will drop. So that's
early what I'm gonna grab. I can't believe it. You're
Chicago Bears, Chad, they're plus three. I guess the forty
(53:35):
nine Ers, like I've talked about, I'm very suspect that
forty nine Ers team. So I'm gonna drink the kool aid.
I'm gonna take the plus three. I've been doing it
all season with this Bears team. They just play ugly.
They can get getting blown out. They'll find a way
to kind of back door it.
Speaker 2 (53:49):
Good better best.
Speaker 3 (53:52):
And I know I'm banned from talking to Tennessee Titans
Saints games, but how do I not ride my boys?
He's minus two right now on the road against this
Tennessee team after a huge Tennessee win, So I might
begin step into a trap or I'll be patient on
that one. Gonna grab it just in case he goes
up to minus three on shuck on the road. So
(54:12):
very public favorite on the road here, But I just
I love the Saints team.
Speaker 1 (54:17):
Oh, I can't wait till it gets at three and
I'm taking the Tennessee Titans.
Speaker 3 (54:20):
I love this team. It's probably the right side. That's
a pro.
Speaker 2 (54:22):
Love this team, all right.
Speaker 1 (54:24):
We are waiting on the Patriots tonight at plus three
and a half. That will be the fifth game of
the day for us. We lost with the Lions minus
six and a half, the Bills minus ten and a half,
one with the Jags plus three and a half. And
I forgot who else we won with.
Speaker 2 (54:45):
That's so weird.
Speaker 3 (54:46):
Do you remember who we won with today? We won
with the Jags and Carolina Carolina.
Speaker 1 (54:52):
That's right, our favorite team ever. It's like forgetting my
favorite child.
Speaker 2 (54:58):
All right.
Speaker 1 (54:59):
