Know what we call our group of calls of the game for Panther Women's Basketball? Claw Calls of course.
The UNI Panthers swept a home weekend defeating Bradley 69-51 and Illinois State 72-52 over the weekend. Against the Braves the Panthers were paced by 17 points and 4 assists from Maya McDermott while Emmerson Green made her first start of the season and chipped in 13. In the win over Illinois State the Elise Jaeger came off the bench to score 15, while Taryn Wharton scored 18. Shateah Wettering joined the broadcast after game one and Jaeger made her radio debut following game two. UNI is now 7-5 in MVC play, two games back of a top four spot with eight games to go. Panthers travel to Murray State and Belmont this weekend.
