The UNI Panthers split the final road trim in regular season MVC play, dropping a game at UIC 76-57, then bouncing back to beat Valparaiso 85-73. In the first game Ryley Goebel posted a career night, while in game two Kayba Laube's hot shooting helped the Panthers close the weekend with the win. UNI opens up Missouri Valley Conference Tournament play this week as the number six seed, squaring off in the opening round with Indiana State.
