On with Mario Lopez.
Speaker 2 (00:04):
Favorite day of the week Thursday, Mario Courtney Lopez, You're
excited to catch up with former Dancing with the Stars Broke,
Kim Johnson, Hershevic was going to zoom in a.
Speaker 3 (00:11):
Little later, lots a new life act in Courtney's corner,
A random question, all of your favorite music and more
so turn it up.
Speaker 4 (00:18):
You're on with Mario and Courtney Lopez.
Speaker 2 (00:21):
Joh Mario Courtney Lopez tied to put on our thinking caps.
Let's get to Courtney's random question.
Speaker 5 (00:26):
What do you got? All right?
Speaker 3 (00:27):
You have just found yourself in a wrap beef with
Drake which MC are you going to ask help for
your response?
Speaker 4 (00:36):
They're going to help you write it?
Speaker 2 (00:37):
Well, I imagine Kendrick Lamar is off the table because he's
already he's got his own beef. Sorry, he got his
own beef. But he's been doing great. You know, I
would help write it. Eminem, he's pretty, he's always angry,
and he's good. He seems has time on his hands
now too, He's got a lot of time. He just
seems angry. That's the thing. Really, yeah, think about it.
A lot of his jams. You can't really dance to
(00:59):
just a lot of.
Speaker 1 (01:01):
Let us know what you think on Twitter and on
with Mario More Mario Lopez coming.
Speaker 2 (01:06):
Up, what at Mario Courtney Lopez Here. Today's lesson of
music history is about the time George Michael and Aretha
Franklin collabsed on a number one hit, I'm Gonna reveal
It Next, You're on Mario Lopez and Tupac's family is
laying down the law on Drake on with Mario Hollywood Buzz. So,
Drake made a new disc track against Kendrick Lamar Boy.
(01:29):
He used AI to make it sound like Tupac and
Snoop were on the verse. Well, Powk's family is not happy.
They are ordering him to take it down and tell
him how he made it or face a serious lawsuit. Well,
rewinding a little bit. These are like full grown men
that are having beef and they go back and forth. Drake,
(01:49):
I feel, is so above it all as far as
in his stature. He's really head and shoulders above the
rest of other rap artists as far as success, hits
and all that. So this beef is only helping Kendrick Lamar,
help j all the people that he's beefing with and
you don't want to go against Drake because of his resources.
Dude has like an army of writers so and apparently
(02:12):
AI now right and a team of yeh, the AI
guys working for him. So yeah, you gotta be careful.
Speaker 1 (02:18):
More Mario Lopez coming up?

Speaker 6 (03:04):
Oh my gosh, it's been gosh, what fifteen years?
Speaker 2 (03:08):

almost sixteen. So that's why it's always nice to see you.
And I'm glad to see you. You're doing well and
actually found love on the show. In the show of course,
Dancing with the Stars. That is great. How long have
you been married now? And have you guys been together.
Speaker 6 (03:26):
We're going on our eight year wedding anniversary this July,
which I cannot believe.
Speaker 2 (03:33):
Congratulate years.
Speaker 4 (03:35):
We have six year old twins. What they're almost six?
Speaker 2 (03:37):
That is awesome.
Speaker 4 (03:39):
I know, like you just never know where you're going
to meet someone, No.
Speaker 2 (03:43):
Get you never know. He's a cool dude too. If
you remember, please give him my best. That's great.
Speaker 4 (03:48):
I will.
Speaker 6 (03:48):
I will actually sitting in his office right get away
from the kids.
Speaker 2 (03:52):
Yeah, now I get that. I know that.
Speaker 1 (03:54):
Well.
Speaker 2 (03:54):
I want to talk about your new movie, Hunting Housewives.
We've got to take a break hold on. I'm gonna
have more with Kim Johnson, herschel coming up.
Speaker 1 (04:00):
More fun on the way on with Mario Lopez.
Speaker 2 (04:04):
Mario Lopez Here. My guest today is Kim Johnson. Herszebak
from Lifetimes Hunting Housewives and congrats on the movie.
Speaker 4 (04:11):
Thank you.
Speaker 2 (04:12):
It looks like a drama with some moments of a comedy.
What's the premise?
Speaker 6 (04:17):
So, I mean, it's the craziest premise. Our husbands, you know,
send this on the Ultimate Girls' Weekend. Well that's what
we think, but it turns out very, very different, and
we end up getting ourselves in this situation. We're stuck
out in the wilderness and we have to try and
survive for our lives, really survive the elements and try
(04:41):
and get out of there.
Speaker 4 (04:42):
And our husbands are Yeah, they're not what they seem.
Speaker 2 (04:46):
Oh, where'd y'all shoot that?
Speaker 4 (04:49):
We shouted in Canada? We were with my husband and
we were living in Canada.
Speaker 6 (04:54):
We're actually just moving now, but we've been based in
Canada for the last.
Speaker 4 (04:59):
Five years, is that right?
Speaker 1 (05:01):
Yeah?
Speaker 6 (05:01):
And this production company is up there and yeah, they
produced the movie and it was amazing. It was not
far from where I live. It was great in Vancouver
area or normal in Toronto.
Speaker 2 (05:14):
In Toronto? Is he from there or why can't?
Speaker 5 (05:16):
Yeah?
Speaker 2 (05:16):
Oh he's from there. Okay, Well that that makes sense.
Speaker 5 (05:18):
That makes sense.
Speaker 2 (05:19):
Well, you can watch Hunting Housewives on Lightetime. Hold On
Cam got to play more music? What Amaro Lopez, You're
talking about your lifetime movie Hunting Housewives with former Dancing
with the Stars Broke Kim Johnson Harserbak and speaking dancing.
Do you keep up with it at all? Or is
there is there certain pro dancers that you still stay
in touch with that or on the show.
Speaker 5 (05:37):
Yeah, I mean, I gosh, when we went back and
did this tribute for Land good Men, they had a
lot of the originals come back, and that was amazing
because I hadn't seen editor or Ana Tropinskaya.
Speaker 6 (05:51):
I just love saying her name or careering now for ages,
So it was really nice to actually get back and
see him. And when we've all sort of gone off
and done other things and we have families now like
the ogs, you know, Cheryl I speak to you know,
we still message each other occasionally, but it's not like
we see each other that often because we're all in
(06:13):
different states. But we definitely when we see each other
it's like nothing has you know, changed?
Speaker 2 (06:19):
Yeah, you know that is no, that's the best right there.
Hold On Kim got to play more music? Yo, amar
A Lopez got Kim Johnson Herzerbak on Zoom with me
from a new Lifetime movie Hunting Housewives and your co
stars Nini Leaks Denise Richards. That seems like a fun,
eclectic group right there. Do you have fun together?
Speaker 1 (06:38):
Right?
Speaker 4 (06:39):
Oh, my gosh, we had the best time.
Speaker 6 (06:41):
I mean, I know both of them from Dancing with
the Stars as well, so we already had.
Speaker 4 (06:46):
An instant connection.
Speaker 6 (06:48):
You know what it's like when you do Dancing with
the Stars, it is you know, such a family and
or you have this common thing, you know. So we
got along great and a lot more with Denise, but
Nini plays my best friend in the movie, so.
Speaker 4 (07:06):
We had a lot of flashbacks together.
Speaker 2 (07:09):
How did you how'd you like acting? Is this something
you've always want to do? You want to get more
into it?
Speaker 6 (07:15):
Yeah, I mean I've always been interested in it, and
I've always loved more so in musical theater. That's what
I trained in when I was younger. But then Borham
dancing sort of took over, and you know, I forgot
about the rest. But yes, since having my kids and
I can't dance forever. My body just you know, you
know what it's like. So this has been a really
(07:38):
great sort of pivot and I did a few little
things up north for this production company, and then this
one came about, which was, you know, a bigger role,
and it was great.
Speaker 4 (07:50):
I really enjoyed doing it.
Speaker 6 (07:52):
It's obviously very different to dancing, sure, but yeah, I
really enjoyed it.
Speaker 4 (07:57):
I was very rehearsed. I think that's the dancer in me.
Speaker 2 (08:01):
Yeah, And I sort of had to just.
Speaker 6 (08:03):
Let that go because Coach was like, don't get too
married to the lines because they're.
Speaker 4 (08:07):
Probably going to change, which they did, you know. But
it was great. It was really fun.
Speaker 6 (08:12):
Just being there, being present and being creative in a
very different way.
Speaker 2 (08:17):
Absolutely well, you can find Hunting Housewives on Livetime. Got
to take a little break. We're going to wrap it
up with Kim in.
Speaker 4 (08:23):
Just a moment.
Speaker 1 (08:23):
You're the full interview now at on with Mario dot Com.
More Mario Lopez on the way.
Speaker 2 (08:29):
Mario Lopez, you're rapping things that with today's guest Kim
Johnson Herzevak. And you mentioned your kids earlier. Hold are
they again?
Speaker 4 (08:35):
They're turning six at the end of the month.
Speaker 2 (08:37):
They're turning six and what are the end too?
Speaker 4 (08:40):
Oh my gosh, they're into everything. We're trying to have
them do a bit of everything.
Speaker 6 (08:45):
Like my son plays soccer, then he does singing, he's.
Speaker 4 (08:50):
Learning piano, the swimming.
Speaker 6 (08:52):
My daughter, she's she's actually a really great dancer and
acrobat she's doing acrobatics. She loves just flipping everywhere. And
so they're very theatrical.
Speaker 4 (09:02):
But we're just.
Speaker 6 (09:04):
Trying them out, you know, with everything, just to see
what they actually gravitate.
Speaker 2 (09:08):
To sure, expose them advice. That's that's awesome.
Speaker 4 (09:10):
It's so much fun.
Speaker 2 (09:11):
Yeah, it is so nice catching up with you. Congratulations
on the movie and on everything you've got going on.
And listen, you can watch Hunting Housewives on Lifetime. Kim,
thanks for hanging out.
Speaker 4 (09:24):
Thanks so much. Mario, was so good to see you.
Speaker 7 (09:26):
You too, What a Mario Courtney Lopez.
Speaker 2 (09:41):
Here was some quick buzz for you. Netflix has won
the bidding war for Kim Kardashian's new scripted show. It's
called Calabasis. It's going to be a high school drama
in the vein of nine on two or zero. No
word yet on who is going to star. I'm assuming
they'll probably make some cameos. That's the neighborhood. The Kardashians
happened to live in or they grew up in.
Speaker 4 (10:00):
I should say, right.
Speaker 2 (10:01):
Now, let's get back to music. You're a Mario Corney
Lopez te't learn new life at What is a topic
today at Corney's corner? Uh? Spilling liquids? Oh, that happens
all the time.
Speaker 3 (10:12):
If you're ever pouring liquid from a large container into
a smaller one, it's impossible not to spill some of
it unless you use some everyday science. So take a
chopstick or a straw and put it in the smaller container. Now,
put the large container right against the chopstick and pour.
There's enough surface tension in liquid that it will stick
to the chopstick and glide into the smaller container.
Speaker 2 (10:36):
Interesting, I don't really understand.
Speaker 3 (10:39):
I just explain to you. But try it because I
think it'll work.
Speaker 2 (10:42):
You went into physics.
Speaker 4 (10:43):
How many?
Speaker 2 (10:44):
How many households have chopsticks just chilling?
Speaker 3 (10:46):
Actually, well, my mom saves everything I have to. When
she turns around, I feel stuck away. So there's chopsticks
in our drawer.
Speaker 1 (10:53):
More Mario Lopez coming up?
Speaker 2 (10:56):
What out Mario Lopez with some quick buzz for you?
When Ryan Gosling went viral Beavis and butt heead Peacock
reaped the benefits. Gosling's episode ONESNL had the most viewers
ever for the streamer, nearly nine million, a lot more
than the one point seven million who watched it live
on NBC. It's the biggest episode since Billie Eilish hosted
in twenty twenty one. All right, let's go back to music.
(11:19):
What a Mario Lopez here? And if you think Christmas
season starts earlier and earlier each year, Home Depot going
next level with Halloween. They've just unveiled new decorations for
this year. There's a twelve foot inflatable skeleton and his
giant new skeleton dog. The cost three hundred bucks. We
have two skeletons from Home Depot and a Mike Myers
(11:43):
that is just out of control, like thirty feet and
it's so out of control you put up for one
day and had to take it down because the it's
so loud. But if we're gonna have a Halloween party,
it's the go to move. All right, let's get back
to music, Jo Mario Lopez and Lisa Vanderpum says she
is not a.
Speaker 1 (11:59):
Fake with Mario Hollywood buzz.
Speaker 2 (12:02):
So this guy, Jax Taylor from the Valley. He has
been saying some pretty nasty stuff about vander Pump Rules.
He says after season six, the show became completely fake
and scripted. Jack says, the Valley is much more real
and organic. That's convenient considering that's gonna premiere soon. Well,
Lisa Vanderpump thinks that is ridiculous. She says, no one
(12:25):
could write a script like vander Pump Rules. I think
what happens is after six seasons, these quote characters sort
of know their role. They're laying what they have to
do to get more attention, more screen times, So they
start creating drama. They start leaning into certain positions and
they get very savvy with it. So I don't know
(12:48):
if it's necessarily fake, but it might be a little choreographed.
It may not be scripted, but it's prompted.
Speaker 5 (12:53):
Yes.
Speaker 1 (12:55):
More Mario Lopez coming up? What up?
Speaker 2 (12:58):
Mario Corney Lopez here. We want to say congrats to
former Bachelor Nick Vaal. Looks like he's finally found love.
My guy was doing like different podcasts on The Bachelor,
just ragging on everyone right there. Congrats.
Speaker 3 (13:09):
Well, in case you're not familiar with him. He appeared
on The Bachelor at twice and Bachelor in Paradise before
starring on his own season in twenty sixteen.
Speaker 2 (13:17):
He was a professional Bachelor contestant. Not anymore.
Speaker 3 (13:21):
He's taken. But now none of those relationships worked out, obviously,
but he found ze one.
Speaker 2 (13:26):
Good for you, Mario Lopez. Here was some quick buzz
for you. I didn't realize this show had such a
long run. Zach Roloff is leaving the show Little People,
Big World after twenty five seasons. That's still in the air.
That's unbelievable. He's been there from the start, back when
he was a teenager in two thousand and six. Zach's
(13:47):
parents continued to film even though they're both in new relationships.
Now that's fascinating. Went through a divorce. There are new relationships,
although there's been no official announcement yet from TLC about
season twenty six. That is one heck of a run.
You're a Mario Courtney Lopez. Let's get to your comments.
What do you have today?
Speaker 3 (14:05):
This is from at La gent two one three, and
they said in ten years, a new retirement age will
be one hundred and fifty. So I still have plenty
of time to pay off my credit card bill.
Speaker 2 (14:15):
You know that sounds like a joke, But La Gent
two and three is referring to a headline I posted
that said doctors says in ten years time, humans will
be able to live and work till the age of
one hundred and twenty. I say, I wanted to live
to one hundred and twenty. But why they got to
throw work in there? Why you gotta live and work.
Speaker 3 (14:33):
On hundred That's no, that's no fun.
Speaker 2 (14:34):
But if you take out a big mortgage for long,
ear long mortgage, ain't a long time to pay it off.
That's why I don't want to live that long.
Speaker 1 (14:41):
Get us up on Twitter, Get on with marioff and
hang on more Mario Lopez on the way?
Speaker 2 (14:47):
What a Mario Lopez here? And it sounds like Joe
Alwin is going to need a new local bar. Taylor
Swift's news song The Black Dog has turned one of
his usual spots into a tourist destination. Swifty's have been
showing up at the pub to take self and look
for London boys. Taylor hasn't confirmed that the song is
about Joe, but fans have been putting together all the clues. Wow,
(15:08):
all right, let's get back to the music. Mario Courtney Lopez.
And one more thing. While we've been talking about Tortured
Post Department, it's now the biggest selling vinyl of the
modern era.
Speaker 4 (15:18):
Like of that.
Speaker 3 (15:18):
Wow, I just sold seven hundred thousand copies in its
first week, breaking Taylor's own record. I guess that's cool
when you break your own record.
Speaker 2 (15:26):
Yeah, that is cool. That's Olympic style. All right, let's
get back to the music. You're on Mario Courtney Lopez.
Time now for one last thing. It's taken her seven
decades of number one hits, but chaer finally being inducted
into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. I can't
believe it's taken this long. That's that's insane. She's part
of the class of twenty twenty four. Inductees include Mary J. Blige, Foreigner,
(15:49):
Peter Frampton, Cool in the Gang, Hey Now, Dave Matthews Band,
and a tribe called Quest. Yes, all right, nicelected group.
Speaker 3 (15:57):
Good for her. I'm sure my mom will.
Speaker 4 (15:59):
Go to this.
Speaker 2 (16:00):
She is going to be very excited. Your mom. She's
going to think it's a travesty that it's taken this long,
plus she loves Dave Matthew's band and a tribe called
uh uh I Love It Tyrbot.
Speaker 1 (16:12):
Chris More, Mario Lopez coming up.
Speaker 2 (16:15):
Time to pass some Mike Big thanks again, Ken Johnson.
Herschebek for zoom and in full chat is now up
at onod mario dot com.
Speaker 3 (16:21):
More fun. Tomorrow Bachelor Nations Tyler Cameron will join us.
Until then, this is Mario and Courtney Lopez saying good
night with Mario Lopez
