When we get to your questions and comments in the
tweet stack.

Speaker 3 (00:12):
Plus og Real Housewife of New York Jill Zarin will
join us to talk about Amazon's free VI's the Goat.
We'll ask a random question and play all of your
favorite music.

Speaker 4 (00:21):
So turn it up. You're on with Mario and Courtney Lopez.

Speaker 5 (00:26):
You're on, Mario Lopez. Let's get your tweets and comments.
What do you got?

Speaker 6 (00:29):
This is from at Antonio Rena At what age did
you switch from Coors to modelo?

Speaker 5 (00:35):
Ah?

Speaker 2 (00:35):
Antonio referring to my Throwback Thursday pick.

Speaker 6 (00:39):
Somewhere after four, I'm guessing, uh, well, that was a
pick I posted on Throwback Thursday where I was at
the river and I was naked and I had an
open cores can, which.

Speaker 2 (00:52):
Is just like a staple for all Mexican household They
always get babies the beer and they take a picture
on mother naked.

Speaker 5 (00:58):
I don't know why, but that's what they do.

Speaker 2 (01:00):
I believe my dad used to drink Coors. I'm gonna
give them a hard time about that, but Medelo did
not come till later on Way, Way Later on More
Mario Lopez on the Way Yo, Mario, Courtney Lopez and
My Girl Ellen defending herself on stage.

Speaker 1 (01:15):
On with Mario Lopez Hollywood Buzz.

Speaker 7 (01:19):
So.

Speaker 2 (01:19):
Ellen's been talking about her image as a tough and
sometimes mean boss in her recent stand up sets.

Speaker 5 (01:26):
She says since she was accused of having a toxic.

Speaker 2 (01:28):
Work environment, she's been kicked out of Hollywood. She admits
she didn't know how to be a good boss. She
didn't go to business school, she didn't cut her teeth
in nightclubs. Plus all the t shirts on the crew
and all the billboards on the lot, said Ellen, she
thought it was about her. You know, I don't think
you necessarily need to go to school to know how

(01:49):
to be nice, and sometimes certain personalities aren't necessarily conducive
to being a people person or a great leader.

Speaker 6 (02:01):
It's one of those things where if you didn't understand this,
why were you a different person in public?

Speaker 2 (02:05):
I think she was smart enough to know that. It
RESI you didn't know for business, and you did know,
But then I think you get to a point where
you either get old enough or you get enough money
where you just don't care and you start.

Speaker 5 (02:17):
That's true being yourself, you know.

Speaker 2 (02:19):
And I think sometimes if you're not overly friendly, just naturally,
I don't.

Speaker 5 (02:24):
Know why you're looking at me over.

Speaker 2 (02:27):
And when people meet you, then they're they're very disappointed.
But it doesn't necessarily mean they're awful individuals either.

Speaker 3 (02:33):
So no, I'm glad she was nice to me, that's all.
She was always very kind to me when we were there.

Speaker 2 (02:39):
Yes, So Ellen, don't go feeling too sorry for it.
She's gonna be just fine.

Speaker 1 (02:44):
Mario Lopez will be right back.

Speaker 2 (02:47):
Up Mario Lopez here. Sounds like Benny Blanco doesn't just
cook in the recording studio. He's actually a pretty legit
cook in the kitchen too. He's dropped a cookbook called
Open Wide. Apparently Selena's favorite dish is the steak, but
Sizza once ate an entire tray of his banana pudding.
Those are two of my favorite things. Steak and banana pudding.

Speaker 5 (03:07):
Those are two amazing things. Yes, I had been at
a putting yesterday.

Speaker 2 (03:10):
Coincidentally, I'm gonna have to make friends with Benny Blanco.
Sounds like my kind of guy.

Speaker 5 (03:15):
All right, let's get back to the music. What a
Mario Lopez. Here is some quick buzz for you.

Speaker 2 (03:20):
Sony delaying its new Karate Kid movie to sync up
with the final season of Cobra Kai on Netflix had
some pretty good timing. Filming of the TV series is
still behind because of the strike, so the movie will
not come out in May of.

Speaker 5 (03:34):
Twenty twenty five.

Speaker 2 (03:35):
They're also delaying their next superhero movie, Craven the Hunter,
that was originally coming out in August, but since Madam
Webb wasn't very hot at the box office, they're pushing
it to December.

Speaker 5 (03:46):
Okay, good luck, Sony, y'all Mark Courtney Lopez. Time for
now something completely out of left field.

Speaker 8 (03:53):
Let's get to Courtney's random question, what do you got
to How many of the major trophies from the sports
world have you been able to hold and which one
was your favorite?

Speaker 1 (04:05):
Well?

Speaker 5 (04:06):
I just recently.

Speaker 2 (04:09):
Was with the Stanley Cup, which I believe is probably
the oldest. It's one hundred and thirty two years old.

Speaker 3 (04:14):
Which technically you can't hold. You can't even touch it
without white gloves.

Speaker 4 (04:17):
And guess what.

Speaker 5 (04:17):
White gloves on it? I touched it I did, you did.

Speaker 4 (04:20):
Of course I didn't get in trouble nobody.

Speaker 2 (04:22):
And the cool thing about the Cup is they put
the names of the players and the team when it wins,
when they win, right. However, the NBA Finals Trophy I
think is distributed all weird, but it is a cool
trophy in itself. And the Lombardi Trophy I've seen that
one's pretty good.

Speaker 1 (04:40):
I think the.

Speaker 2 (04:40):
Coolest is the World Cup because it's the way, the
way it's sort of it's the prettiest, the way it
just sort of that they'd hold the whole globe, and
that's truly a world champion. All these other people call
themselves world champions. America's the only team that plays football.
America's the only team that plays baseball and hockey too.
We have okay, Canada, Russia, well, Russia, right, but everyone

(05:02):
plays football, right, so there are truly world world champions.

Speaker 1 (05:06):
Poor Mario Lopez, What a Mario Lopez?

Speaker 5 (05:09):
He was some quick buzz for you.

Speaker 2 (05:10):
Universal wants to take us back to the fifteenth century
for its next biopic. They're developing a film based on
the life of Leonardo da Vinci.

Speaker 5 (05:18):
I love this sort of stuff.

Speaker 2 (05:19):
He not only painted the mon Lisa, of course, but
he was also an inventor and a writer. He sculpted,
He did very very talented lot of stuff in the
Systeine Chapel. No word yet on the star, but the
director just made the highly rated movie. All of us strangers, ooh,
want to see this? All right, let's get back to
the music.

Speaker 5 (05:37):
Mario Courtney Lopez.

Speaker 2 (05:38):
Here was some quick buzz for you. Blue Ivy Carter
about to make her film debut. She's been cast in
the Lion King prequel, joining her mom, who was already
part of the movie.

Speaker 3 (05:46):
She'll be the voice of Simba's daughter. And you can
see the trailer for move fafa at on with Mario
dot com.

Speaker 5 (05:55):
Yoh, Mario Courtney Lopez.

Speaker 2 (05:56):
And over the weekend, I got to do something that
I never ever get to do and I was so excited.
Actually we got to do something sleep in What is that?
How great was that?

Speaker 1 (06:08):
Honey?

Speaker 2 (06:08):
We were in San Diego for an event that I
had to do and we went to bed before eleven pm.
It was definitely before eleven pm.

Speaker 5 (06:16):
Is it your parents' house? No, this is that a hotel.

Speaker 2 (06:18):
We stayed purposely at a hotel to not be woken
by my dad and my mom and it was between
seven thirty eleven, and we woke up around nine something,
oh dang. And then actually my wife woke up and
I said, I thought you were going to sleep in
with me, teasing, which, by the way, that would have
been a really good sleeping And also.

Speaker 4 (06:33):
Nine fifteen, I'll take it.

Speaker 5 (06:35):
It's even almost what twelve hours?

Speaker 2 (06:38):
No, no, no, no, that's culture like ten hours. But that's
still incredible. However, we went back to sleep. It was
nice and cold, nice and dark. We went back to sleep,
and we woke up at what one fifteen? Yeah, what
can you believe?

Speaker 5 (06:48):
Left at one fifteen in the afternoon.

Speaker 2 (06:50):
Yes, we could have kept sleeping and we had to
make ourselves get up, But how amazing was that we
slept so much?

Speaker 5 (06:55):
We were tired. You hibernated, illustraight hibernation, like.

Speaker 4 (06:58):
Did not care if there were any emergency, high.

Speaker 5 (07:01):
Head, they'll figure it out, they'll.

Speaker 4 (07:03):
Figure it out. Thanks for taking care of our kids.

Speaker 2 (07:06):
You got to shut it down like we.

Speaker 3 (07:07):
Just needed it coming off of the Chicago and then
coming back straight into I mean it was it was
needed and it was awesome.

Speaker 5 (07:16):
So how long do you think you'll be refreshed, for.

Speaker 3 (07:19):
I was just refreshed yesterday and today still hanging.

Speaker 5 (07:25):
We got to do that at least.

Speaker 8 (07:27):
Every weekend, at least once a month.

Speaker 4 (07:31):
No, just even if we go down the street to
a hotel.

Speaker 1 (07:35):
More Mario Lopez coming up?

Speaker 5 (07:38):
What a Mario Lopez?

Speaker 2 (07:39):
Hearin, Venus Williams getting into the podcast game. Apparently the
tennis legend is a big passion for art and photography.
Is called widening the lens. And if you want to
listen to this show as a podcast, you should just
search on with Mario. What a Mario Lopez here? Today's

(08:07):
guest was an og Real housewife of New York. Now
she's competing to see Who's the greatest reality star of
all time. I'm talking about Jill's Arran from the new
Amazon competition The Goat. She's going to zoom in after
a few more songs.

Speaker 1 (08:20):
What's up?

Speaker 5 (08:21):
You're on? Mario Courtney Lopez joining me?

Speaker 2 (08:23):
No on zoom the og Real Housewife of New York
City Jill's Erran.

Speaker 5 (08:27):
Welcome to the show. How have you been?

Speaker 4 (08:28):
Jill?

Speaker 9 (08:29):
First of all, you don't age. You look so amazing.
Can I tell you something funny?

Speaker 7 (08:33):
Do you know that.

Speaker 9 (08:34):
I thought og meant original until about a month ago
someone told me it means original gangster.

Speaker 7 (08:39):
I never knew that it's funny.

Speaker 5 (08:42):
It could mean both. It could mean both. You could
be both.

Speaker 7 (08:46):
So what I didn't even know the gangster part. I
think that's great, by the way, but I.

Speaker 2 (08:51):
Didn't know it's a total compliment. Congrats you're part of
this new Amazon freeby competition.

Speaker 5 (08:57):
The Goat tell me how it works?

Speaker 9 (09:00):
Oh my god, it is. First of all, you've got
to watch the show. It's hysterical. Daniel Tosh is the host,
so that says it all because it's meant to be funny,
and it is funny, and he's sarcastic. Every joke is hysterical,
just like as a get go when we do a competition.
Instead of saying one, two three go he goes one

(09:20):
two three goats. I mean, just everything is hysterical. With him,
the cast could not be better. Most of us took
it for what it was, which is just a parody
type of show. But there was a competitive nature. There's
two hundred thousand dollars on the line, okay, and some people,
you know, took it more seriously than others. But for
the overall, we all came out friends.

Speaker 5 (09:41):
Oh that's great.

Speaker 7 (09:42):
Well, some of us had to do some ugly things
to you know, survive.

Speaker 1 (09:45):
More fun on the way on with Mario Lopez.

Speaker 2 (09:48):
Mario Lopez, you're talking about the new reality competition to
go with Jill Zarin. So what are some of the challenges?

Speaker 7 (09:55):
Oh? Can I say some of the challenges, I don't
even know, you know what.

Speaker 9 (09:58):
Some of them are physical, and some of them are
mental like a word scramble or you know, or spelling bee.
And some of them are physical like you know, standing
on one leg.

Speaker 2 (10:08):
Or something right, Okay, good good? And the cast includes
people from bachsmination Love is Blind. The challenge who did
you bond with most?

Speaker 9 (10:17):
I would say Davon from Big Brother, CJ from f
Boy Island, which will now be said CJ from The Goat,
how from a ninety eight fiance who's not a big fan.
But you know what, I became friends with everybody but
the girls slept together, so we really bonded. And Kristin,
you know from Vanda Pump and now the Valley, So

(10:39):
I would say those are the ones I bonded with
the most. In my room, but I loved everybody, and
I really did.

Speaker 7 (10:44):
I made friends for life.

Speaker 5 (10:45):
Hold on, Joe has play some more music.

Speaker 2 (10:48):
Hey, Mario Lopez here with Jill Zarin from the new
Amazon showed The Goat. Let's talk a little below deck.
Were you surprised your appearance with stir up so much conversation?

Speaker 7 (10:57):
Well, I'm flattered, I have to say.

Speaker 9 (10:58):
I mean, nobody was really interested in that show, I
guess until I came alone and I ask everyone, have
you watched an episode since?

Speaker 5 (11:06):
Have you have? I?

Speaker 2 (11:08):
I personally have not, but I'm familiar with it from
a peripheral.

Speaker 7 (11:12):
Okay, yeah, no, you know what it was. It was me.

Speaker 9 (11:14):
It was all of me and my best form and
people just don't get my humor. And I think that
the crew kind of took me the wrong way. But
at the but they apologized, So I think they feel
bad about what they said because they all said that
I couldn't have been nicer and fun and I've stayed
in touch with them all this time, so I think

(11:36):
they felt bad about things they said in their interviews,
which happened often very much later on.

Speaker 7 (11:42):
But it's true. Everything I said was true. I own
everything good.

Speaker 5 (11:46):
Good for you?

Speaker 2 (11:47):
You leave your mark, that's for sure.

Speaker 5 (11:49):
Well, we're gonna play some more music and then we're
gonna wrap it up.

Speaker 2 (11:53):
Lmar A Lopez rapping things up with Jill Zara And
what about the Housewise you keep up with any of
the franchises? Any pi on the rebooted cast.

Speaker 7 (12:02):
I think the reboot's great. I think the girls are great.

Speaker 9 (12:04):
They're very different than us, and I think that's, you know,
a good thing. I just think that the Housewives franchise,
you know, is it's getting older, you know what I mean.

Speaker 7 (12:13):
I do like the ultimate girls trip concept. I don't know.

Speaker 9 (12:16):
If they'll be able to do them anymore based on
all the lawsuits and whatever going on, But I don't know.
I think that everybody's just aging and sometimes it just
runs its course.

Speaker 2 (12:26):
Yeah, no, those things happen. It is very nice to
see you again. Congratulates for having me.

Speaker 9 (12:32):
The Goat is honestly going to be the show hit
of the summer Thursday nights till June twenty ninth, which
is the finale, which you definitely don't want to miss.

Speaker 7 (12:40):
It is binge worthy. But once you watch the first three,
you won't be able to stop watching.

Speaker 2 (12:44):
Jill, thanks so much, for hanging out.

Speaker 7 (12:46):
Thanks Mario, you look great.

Speaker 2 (12:48):
Thank you City, take.

Speaker 1 (12:49):
Care You're the full interview now at On with Mario
dot Com. More Mario Lopez on the Way.

Speaker 5 (12:55):
Mario Courtney Lopez here with some quick buzz for you.

Speaker 2 (12:57):
We're hearing Bravo is threatening to demand a real housewife
of Beverly Hills. I didn't know there was a ranking
system you could demote, but okay, hierarchy. Apparently Drek Kemsley
is in the middle of a family crisis.

Speaker 5 (13:11):
Oh is that true?

Speaker 2 (13:12):
Wow?

Speaker 3 (13:13):
I honestly don't know. This is the first time hearing
about it. But she's trying to hide it from the cameras,
which is the opposite of what you have to do.

Speaker 4 (13:20):
On that show.

Speaker 3 (13:21):
So producer say, if she doesn't open up about it soon,
she will be demoted to a cast.

Speaker 5 (13:26):
Friend, you're not out to have any privacy.

Speaker 3 (13:28):
Wow, you sign up for that show and everything. There's
no nothing off limits.

Speaker 5 (13:35):
No secrets. Okay, let's get back to the music.

Speaker 2 (13:40):
What al Mario Lopez here edsurance huge breakthrough album Multiply,
is turning ten this year. To celebrate, he's dropping an
anniversary edition with nine bonus tracks. He's also going to
be playing a special intimate show in Brooklyn. Fans will
randomly be texted a link or tickets. X aka multiplies
the album that included here. It's like photograph and thinking

(14:02):
out loud it. Suran's also going to be performing at
the Dodgers Gala, which is really cool. They had a
lot of great artists throughout the years. Room five Jennifer
Lopez now ed shearing nice you all, Mark Courtney Lopez
and these mad scientists are out of control, so let's
talk about this. Experts are saying a daily shower has

(14:25):
no proven health benefit. It's just a social construct we
follow because we're afraid others will think.

Speaker 5 (14:30):
We smell you do you do smell?

Speaker 2 (14:33):
The daily shower really only came to being in the
last one hundred years. Two out of three people shower
every day. Well, that third person does not belong in
my circle goals if you're not. I know, and one
of our producers, who I think we've gotten to change
his ways.

Speaker 4 (14:48):
He would shower when needed.

Speaker 6 (14:50):
He has changed his ways because he now lives in
an area that's way more has way more humidity. Yeah,
so he feels the need to shower multiple He tells
us well, yeah.

Speaker 2 (14:58):
You're constantly marinating. Here's a deal in all the.

Speaker 4 (15:01):
Camera in your bathroom so we know do you have
one in there?

Speaker 2 (15:05):
Here's the deal in all seriousness, the benefit is to
not stink. Not only that you sleep better, you better
you wake up. It's the hygiene. It's for my own sanity.

Speaker 5 (15:20):
Of course. Then then there's that.

Speaker 2 (15:23):
I don't know if someone who's trying to conserve water
is writing these studies, but they need to stop.

Speaker 4 (15:31):
But I don't want to smell them.

Speaker 2 (15:32):
The last thing we need is more stinky people.

Speaker 5 (15:35):
I believe that a drought wrote the story.

Speaker 1 (15:37):
Yeah, let us know what you think on Twitter and
on with Mario more Mario Lopez.

Speaker 5 (15:44):
Coming up, Yo, Courtney Lopez.

Speaker 2 (15:46):
Here was some quick buzz Leo DiCaprio has said he'll
never do a superhero movie, but he once came close.
Director Zack Snyder says he almost got him to play
Lex Luthor in Batman Versus Superman.

Speaker 3 (15:57):
That's pretty cool to play I think a a superhero.
But apparently Leo had the idea of Superman fighting the
Justice League, which would later happen in a future movie.
In the role ended up going to Jesse Eisenberg.

Speaker 5 (16:10):
Wow.

Speaker 2 (16:10):
I think it's kind of cool that he's never done it.
He's also never dated anyone over twenty five, So there's that.
Mario Lopez here, we got a message in our inbox
about our conversation on showering. This is from Melissa Miller
in Pennsylvania.

Speaker 9 (16:26):
I have to say that today doctors are telling people
not to shower every day because you're washing away natural
oils and that's why people's skin and hair are dry.

Speaker 2 (16:35):
Melissa, appreciate you reaching out. This is one time I
would not listen to doctors.

Speaker 5 (16:42):
You how much did Nichols pay you to say that? Yeah?
Here's the deal.

Speaker 2 (16:46):
Yes, essentially some oils may not be in the mix
once you take a shower, but I think the pros
outweigh the cons. You can leave us a message and
find the talk back button at the bottom of your iHeartRadio.

Speaker 5 (17:01):
They're al Mario Courtney Lopez.

Speaker 2 (17:02):
How for one last thing, I don't know if I
can believe this headline, but Kanye's employees say that when
he threatens them, he speaks in super Mario voice. I
posted about this, not that I don't believe him, but
I'm gonna need to see some video evidence.

Speaker 4 (17:16):
Does we want to see it?

Speaker 2 (17:18):
Because I want to see it. I want does he
do does he do Chris Pratt doing Super Mario or
does he do Super Mario.

Speaker 5 (17:24):
From the video game. It's to me, well, I think
I think it's got to be more of the video game,
not Chris Pratt. Otherwise he would just be threatening them
as Chris Pratt. That's true, but he does the woo
who though?

Speaker 9 (17:36):
Who?

Speaker 6 (17:36):
However, if someone threatened me in that voice, I think
I would just laugh, like is that threatening?

Speaker 3 (17:42):
You might either laugh or be afraid, because yeah, depending
on who.

Speaker 6 (17:47):
Because the context in the environment, it could be actually
very scary for.

Speaker 2 (17:52):
Someone who supposedly was canceled. He's sure hanging around a lot.

Speaker 1 (17:55):
More Mario Lopez coming up.

Speaker 5 (17:58):
That's it thanks to Jill z Aaron for zoom in.

Speaker 2 (18:00):
Full chat with her up now at allomario dot com.

Speaker 4 (18:02):
More fun tomorrow.

Speaker 3 (18:03):
Until then, this is Mario and Courtney Lopez saying good night,
