All American reject We got Tyson Ritter and Chris Gaylor.

Speaker 3 (00:33):
Welcome to the show, gentlemen. How are you great man,
how are you doing?

Speaker 4 (00:37):
Thanks for having us.

Speaker 2 (00:38):
Thank you for taking the time. Congrats on the new
single cover of flag Pole Setup from Harvey Danger.

Speaker 3 (00:45):
What inspired you to record this?

Speaker 4 (00:48):
We were kind of rolling through the southern United States
on a tour that was really easy, and so every
night we kind of just got on this fun little
like flashback playlist habit where we would just all jam
out sort of the songs that shaped us in the
nineties and Flagpole Citter came on and maybe maybe in
a couple of drinks in and I was like, we

(01:09):
should cover this song and everybody's like yeah, And then
I was like, no, no, we should record this and
everybody was like yeah. And it was that simple, and
given that we haven't done it in so long, it
was kind of a great little excuse just to get
back in the studio, which we haven't done in you know,
a decade, So it was it was a really fun time.

Speaker 2 (01:27):
I like hering artists kind of put their spin another
artists of songs. You can listen to Flagpole Sita on
iHeartRadio where you get your music. We got to take
a little break.

Speaker 3 (01:36):
We can have more of the all American rejacts, just
a moment.

Speaker 1 (01:38):
More fun on the way on with Mario Lopez.

Speaker 2 (01:41):
Mario Lopez here hanging out with the guys in an American
Rejacts who just released a new cover of Flagpole Sita.

Speaker 3 (01:46):
So is this just the one off single? Is there
more music in the works?

Speaker 1 (01:50):
You know?

Speaker 4 (01:51):
I think for us it was a beta just to
see if we could tolerate each other in the studio again.

Speaker 5 (01:55):
Put our toes in the water, yeah, and can tolerate.

Speaker 3 (02:00):
Yeah, no, no, there was no blood spilled.

Speaker 4 (02:02):
So yeah, it could lead to bigger and better things
for us.

Speaker 2 (02:06):
I think good to hear we can listen to Flagpoles
sit on iHeart Radio.

Speaker 3 (02:10):
Let's play more music right now.

Speaker 2 (02:12):
Mario Lopez here with Sizing and Chris and the All
American Rejacks. And next month you're playing the When We
Were Young Festival?

Speaker 3 (02:19):
What are you most looking forward to about that?

Speaker 4 (02:22):
We're Las Vegas is a love child of ours, and
I think we've decided to sort of put all our
capital from this show into the production because we really
wanted to take a big swing. So if you're going
to be in Vegas down at When we Were Young,
definitely come check out our set because it's going to
be one of a kind experience.

Speaker 2 (02:42):
I'm a fan of those big festivals and it's a
chance for bands to kind of hang out with each other.
Or is it tooth chaotic and y'all don't really kick it.
You go do your thing and you get.

Speaker 3 (02:51):
Out, you know, like depends on the mood we played it.

Speaker 4 (02:55):
Yeah, we played it in twenty twenty two and the
backstage we were like we dressed up as Elvis. On
the second night, we were all like five Elvis's, that's awesome,
and we were and the backstage was really catered well
and lovely, and so we were standing at the bar
that they had for artists and nobody, nobody was hanging.
It was really interesting were we were like these just

(03:16):
desert Island Elvis's ponying up to a bar and it
was a little been a great shot. But hopefully since
there are a couple of years in on this fest,
I think it'll be a little more fun backstage.

Speaker 3 (03:26):
Yeah, I'm sure it will be.

Speaker 6 (03:27):
Man.

Speaker 2 (03:27):
Well, that's October nineteenth and twentieth in Vegas. Hold on, guys,
let's play.

Speaker 3 (03:31):
Some more music. You're al Mario Lopez.

Speaker 2 (03:36):
My guess today are Tyson and Chris from the All
American Rejects, and this is the twenty fifth anniversary of
the vand's formation.

Speaker 3 (03:42):
What do you all remember about your very first gig together.

Speaker 4 (03:46):
It was in Tulsa where we were just starting to
pop on radio, and it was like this wild Beatles
experience for us, because it was just, you know, we'd
played this venue so many times just as a two piece,
and there would be like five people there but after
the radio got ahold of it in Tulsa, it was
it was like wall to wall and it was.

Speaker 3 (04:07):
His first show. Yeah, so the heat was on.

Speaker 4 (04:10):
Yeah no, and I remember the screams being louder than
our band and it was.

Speaker 1 (04:15):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (04:15):
It was a.

Speaker 4 (04:16):
Wild sort of baptism by fire that kind of didn't stop.

Speaker 3 (04:19):
For many, many moons.

Speaker 2 (04:21):
It was great and fifteen years ago the song gives
you hell Top Billboards mainstream chart. I mean, when you
get a number one song, it's it's got to have
that dream come true sort of feeling.

Speaker 3 (04:33):
Huh. I'm still I can't. I still can't believe that happened.

Speaker 4 (04:38):
Yeah no, I remember just going because Lady Gaga blew
up so big after that, I was like.

Speaker 3 (04:42):
We beat Lady Gaga this year she opened for us
at a radio pest that we were doing, like we
played after her at one point. I mean, I was
just weird. Yeah.

Speaker 2 (04:55):
Well, it was definitely a moment in history. All right,
hang on, guys, got one more thing I want to ask.
We've got to take a break. I'm gonna wrap it
up with the American Rejacks in just a moment.

Speaker 1 (05:01):
You're the full.

Speaker 7 (05:02):
Interview now at on with Mario dot Com More Mario

Speaker 3 (05:12):
Are you La based or he's La I'm Tulsa, Oklahoma.

Speaker 2 (05:16):
Oh so you remain in tell Us? Is that where
the band short was formed? Or you're just you're the
only one from there?

Speaker 4 (05:21):
Still Water was where the band formed and he's from
Edmund And yeah, we just four okies kind of riding
a rocket around for a while.

Speaker 3 (05:29):
I like it. I like I spent some time there.
Good wrestlers come out of Oklahoma. Oh yeah, state baby.
That's all right. Well, gentlemen, thank you so much for
your time.

Speaker 2 (05:38):

haunted mazes that go next level.

now on Zoom from the iHeartRadio podcast to Teas in
a Pod, Real Housewives, Teddy Mellencamp and Tamra judge.

Speaker 3 (08:28):
Welcome to the show, ladies. How are you good?

Speaker 11 (08:30):
How are you Maria?

Speaker 2 (08:31):
I'm doing well.

Speaker 3 (08:32):
Thank you, funny title, I like it.

Speaker 2 (08:37):
Congrats on that your first ever live edition of the
podcast is going down.

Speaker 3 (08:43):
When is that happening?

Speaker 10 (08:44):
No?

Speaker 11 (08:44):
Bember first?

Speaker 2 (08:46):
Okay, all right, so right around the corner there. Are
you going to have any special guests for the live episode?

Speaker 3 (08:51):
Yes, so we're.

Speaker 11 (08:52):
Gonna have some iconic housewives, as I like to say.
We have Heather Debrow, Marisol from Miami, Dolores from New Jersey,
and Cynthia from Atlanta, and then we're going to sprinkle
in some surprise guests as well.

Speaker 1 (09:05):
Well.

Speaker 3 (09:05):
Fans get a chance to interact, for sure.

Speaker 6 (09:08):
There's a VIP experience where you can come early, you
can take pictures with all of us. We're gonna do
a champagne toast. But also once we start the live show,
there's a Q and a portion, so you get to
ask whatever you want and we have to answer.

Speaker 3 (09:23):
Nice. Nice good job, ladies.

Speaker 2 (09:25):
Well, you can get more info on the live date
at on with Mario dot Com.

Speaker 3 (09:29):
Let's take a little break. We're gonna have more with
Teddy and Tamra.

Speaker 1 (09:32):
More fun on the way on with Mario Lopez.

Speaker 2 (09:35):
Mario Lopez here hanging out Real House, so has Teddy
Mellencamp and Tamra Judge. Now, I assume most of the
housewives watch each other right on all the franchises? Do
you watch all the other franchises?

Speaker 3 (09:48):
Oh, we have, that's what our show's about. We recap.

Speaker 1 (09:51):
You recap all.

Speaker 2 (09:52):
Of them, but before you do the podcast, so genuinely,
did you watch a lot of them?

Speaker 1 (09:56):
Come?

Speaker 3 (09:57):
No, you didn't really.

Speaker 11 (09:59):
Watch all of them. I would watch Beverly Hills because
I love just the lifestyle. But now we watch every
single one of them.

Speaker 6 (10:07):
The reason why I single wife and every single spin off.

Speaker 3 (10:10):
Got it of a Housewife.

Speaker 2 (10:13):
Yeah, that's a deep dive. The only reason I would
assume you would because I would. I would want to
watch it for research purposes like compare contrast?

Speaker 3 (10:21):
What are they doing? You know what I mean?

Speaker 11 (10:23):
Yeah, I mean we definitely have to. We have to
we watch the show.

Speaker 8 (10:26):
I have to watch it twice.

Speaker 11 (10:27):
I watch it and then I watch it again and
take notes on everything they say.

Speaker 6 (10:31):
It's it's it's quite a pause. That's as that's for
two teas in a pod. But when for Housewife purposes.
It's almost better when you don't watch, oh you mean yeah,
like as a housewife, because when you watch and your
two in your head, then all of a sudden, you
turn into like you're manufacturing what should happen is instead
of not being.

Speaker 11 (10:49):
But I'm the opposite. I'm never into my head, which
I should be. Maybe one I wish you would. I
think you all the time?

Speaker 3 (10:56):
Really in that makes a lot of sense.

Speaker 2 (10:57):
We'll be sure to listen to two teas in a
pod on iHeartRadio or wherever your podcast.

Speaker 3 (11:02):
Hay time, We've gotta play more music, Mario Lopez here.

Speaker 2 (11:06):
My guests today are Teddy Mellencamp and Tamra Judge from
The Real Housewives podcast to tease in a pod. Well,
now that you've seen them all, who provides the most
drama New York?

Speaker 3 (11:17):
Go see salt Lake?

Speaker 2 (11:19):
Are you kidding me?

Speaker 6 (11:20):
I can't even open my Instagram account right now because
of the freaking hate Tamras getting. I'm like, I know,
I why I hate you?

Speaker 5 (11:29):
Oh?

Speaker 3 (11:29):
Because I'm just doing my job.

Speaker 6 (11:30):
Mario, that's it.

Speaker 3 (11:31):
No, I mean, it's I don't you.

Speaker 11 (11:33):
Probably don't watch a show and high Oh my gosh.

Speaker 4 (11:36):
I'm just gonna reference.

Speaker 11 (11:37):
Your wife I hated so much right now?

Speaker 3 (11:42):
Why Tamar hated so much?

Speaker 2 (11:43):
Right now? Honey?

Speaker 3 (11:47):
Oh she's walking back.

Speaker 8 (11:49):
Do we have enough time? I love you? I love
you though, yes.

Speaker 11 (11:55):
I think it's just because it's just a very weird situation.
One of my best friends on the show falling out
before and then they brought in a new girl who
is now dating her ex boyfriend.

Speaker 3 (12:06):
Never yeah, no win situation, got it, that's it. Yeah,
that's a tough position right there.

Speaker 2 (12:14):
To me when I told her what, Yeah, I know
I can't stay how my friends will listen to me,
But I get it.

Speaker 3 (12:20):
I get it.

Speaker 4 (12:20):
All right.

Speaker 2 (12:21):
We're going to keep the conversation going in a moment,
right now, let's play more music. You're al Maria Lopez,
got Real Housewives, Teddy Mellencamped and Tamra Judge on Zoom
with me and Teddy. You've been pretty open about your
your battle with skin cancer. How are things for you now?

Speaker 3 (12:35):
You look you look great? Thank you. Things have been good.

Speaker 6 (12:38):
I'm about a month and a half out from my
last surgery, which was I think my sixteenth melanomo removal.
I think it's given me, it's given me an opportunity
to talk about something that I wasn't educated on before
I had skin cancer.

Speaker 3 (12:56):
And in the next month.

Speaker 6 (12:59):
I go to New York to work with Cure Melanoma
and MC their event which if you guys want to come,
we would love it, where we talk about all the
different phases of skin cancer, how you can protect yourself,
how you you know. I think that back in the nineties,
so many of us we were in tanning beds. We
weren't protecting our skin. We weren't doing all these things.

(13:22):
And this isn't a place blame, but it's how we
raise our children going forward and how we protect ourself.

Speaker 9 (13:27):
But I'm doing all right.

Speaker 2 (13:28):
Good, nice to hear well. I got one more thing
I want to talk about. We've got to take a break.

Speaker 3 (13:32):
I'm gonna wrap it up with Teddy and tam Run just.

Speaker 7 (13:34):

Tamra Judge Tamra the latest OC reunion here soon.

Speaker 8 (13:47):
We just taped on Sunday.

Speaker 3 (13:49):
Oh, how to go? It actually went really well.

Speaker 11 (13:54):
I can only repeat what Andy said on his radio
show today. He said that the reunion was pretty calm.
It comes to reunions, lots of resolution, but except for
when Alexis came out then kind of all hell brow.

Speaker 3 (14:07):
Close ooh, it's good tease.

Speaker 2 (14:09):
All right, Yeah, we'll have to check those out. It's
like interrogation every time.

Speaker 3 (14:14):

people who said they were brutally attacked backstage by his security. Ironically,
through all this trouble. Chris Brown has charted every year

(15:03):

Speaker 3 (15:05):
It's kind of like low key under the radar, just
keeps it going. It's pretty impressive. Amaro, Courtney Lopez and
phraserh are we going to bring on?

previously had.

It would have to be anonymous because I know exactly
