Speaker 1 (00:00):
You're on with Mario Lopez.

Speaker 2 (00:02):
There we go, Maria Courtney Lopez. You're back behind the
min slots going on today. Our guest is from the
Real Housewives of New York, Brin Whitfield.

Speaker 3 (00:10):
Also learn a new life act in Courtney's corner, So
let's keep the music going. You're on with Mario and
Courtney Lopez.

Speaker 2 (00:17):
Yamar Courtney Lopez. No Dancing with the Stars tonight due
to the election, but we may have another show MAT's.
This time it is Bachelorette Jen Tran and her partner
Sasha Farber. So evidently it did not work out with
the guys she picked and the bachelorette.

Speaker 3 (00:31):
Well, apparently not. They made their rehearsals private at Sasha's
house haha, and Derek Coff has made comments about their
tiktoks like I'm happy for you too, Well, didn't get married?

Speaker 4 (00:42):
Does the work like a judge? Isn't that inappropriate?

Speaker 2 (00:46):
Well, he's commenting on the social life, not the professional Yeah.

Speaker 3 (00:49):
Maybe they're chemistry. Meanwhile, their speculation about Carryon and AMA's
future with the show. She's been a judge since the start,
but some are saying ABC may not renew her contract
after this season, saying she doesn't fit in as well
as she once did.

Speaker 2 (01:03):
Huh So the only OG if in fact that's the case,
is my boy Bruno Tonioli.

Speaker 5 (01:09):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (01:09):
Now, he has such a great energy and such a
fun character that I think he'll remain regardless as time
goes on. But wow, interesting news regarding carry Inn.

Speaker 1 (01:19):
More Mario Lopez coming up, Courtney Lopez.

Speaker 2 (01:23):
Let's take a look at what's on TV today.

Speaker 3 (01:24):
Netflix has season two of Love Village. Singles thirty five
and over live together, rebuild a house, and search for love.
So they they're living in the house they're rebuilding.

Speaker 2 (01:37):
There's many layers to this. Literally, I like that. You
have to be over thirty five, you might be a
little bit more serious, and then you show your contracting skill.

Speaker 4 (01:45):
You need to carpentry skills.

Speaker 2 (01:47):
Yeah, there's some carpentry that's involved.

Speaker 3 (01:49):
This would not be this would not be something you
would partake in. My love.

Speaker 2 (01:53):
He's got a guy, well gotten married. I wouldn't. But
assuming I was single, I'd be like, yo, I got
a guy for this.

Speaker 4 (01:58):
On the Morning A Team.

Speaker 3 (02:00):
Mats and Discovery premiere Game Changers. It explores the history
of the most successful and popular games including Monopoly, Scrabble,
pac Man, and Call of Duty.

Speaker 2 (02:11):
I love this actually, because you know I love games.
This is going to get and the drawer here.

Speaker 3 (02:16):
I like this, I know, and I feel bad because
our son always wants to me to play Monopoly, and
that game never ends, so I'm constantly making excuses.

Speaker 4 (02:24):
There is a faster way to play. I watched this
documentary about the Beginnings and it was kind of fascinating
by every includ and there's a couple of different ways
to play, but there's a speed way to play that
they play in tournaments that you can learn that actually
goes by way faster and you get to humiliate the
children very quickly.

Speaker 3 (02:41):
Awesome. What Amazon has The session man a talk about
keyboardist Nicky Hopkins, who played with the Beatles, the Rolling Stones,
and the Who and the Kings.

Speaker 2 (02:50):
Wow, some of the greatest bands ever. He must be
one heck of a keyboardist. I love those kind of ducks,
Mario Courney Lopez. Here music rolls on after some quick buzz.
The new Tom Hansanks movie has seemed to fizzle at
the box office. Here, Oh was that funny fras Here
with Robin Wright, Little Forrest Gumph re Union. Right there
only made five million this past weekend.

Speaker 3 (03:12):
Wow, the biggest movie was Venom the Last Dance. For
the second week in a row, it's made another twenty
six million for a total of ninety million. That's a
big difference.

Speaker 2 (03:23):
This does not bode well for the future of cinema
because it further goes to prove that only comic book
fair performs in theaters and a family affair that's not
a good sign.

Speaker 3 (03:36):
Well, I think there's just so many good things on
the streaming networks.

Speaker 2 (03:39):
That I that that could be it too, that.

Speaker 3 (03:42):
Not too And honestly, as a mom, taking the kids
to see something like that is a fun outing to
get them out of the house and they're contained for
a company.

Speaker 2 (03:51):
Rights, You're right. I think it is all a box
sort of you're right, a family fair because that's what
was the biggest movies this year, right, that we discussed
and you get them out and because you're I would
much rather view and I see a movie at home.

Speaker 3 (04:02):
Right, But those big marvel with the kids like, they're
more fun to see in the theater.

Speaker 2 (04:10):
Yo, Marrow Courtney Lopez Time to learn a New life act.
What is the topic today? At Courtney's corner.

Speaker 3 (04:14):
Honey, ah some pick me up. Well, if you're feeling
down or stressed out, here's a quick way to change
your attitude. Start keeping a list in your phone on
love lists, Yes, you do. And whenever something literally makes
you laugh out loud, anytime you need to be cheered up,
take a look at your list and the memories will
make you laugh again. You know, this is something I

(04:34):
always say when the kids say funny things and I
don't write it down, And I think you're gonna remember
to tell them when they're older. But you don't make
a list, write it down what they say, because it'll
make you laugh later.

Speaker 4 (04:52):
I'm writing down Tom Hanks movie Fizzles at box office?

Speaker 3 (04:54):
Right, you don't go see.

Speaker 2 (04:55):
The best thing about a list, too, which will make
you feel great is when you scratch off the last thing. Yeah,
it's a great feeling.

Speaker 1 (05:01):
It is coming out for Mario Lopez.

Speaker 2 (05:04):
Coming up, Mario, Courtney Lopez. Here just a few songs
away from today's guest zooming in.

Speaker 3 (05:09):
It's Brien Whitfield from the Real Housewives of New York.
She's been feuding with Uba and Si and facetiming with
her ex she's not a true housewife because she's not married.
But we'll find out what's really going down next.

Speaker 2 (05:21):
Tebyel Mario Courtney Lopez. Joining us now on Zoom from
the Real Housewives of New York City. Brin Whitfield. Welcome
to the show, Bren, How are you hello?

Speaker 6 (05:29):
Thank you for having me.

Speaker 2 (05:30):
Thanks for taking the time. This is your second season
on the show. How are you feeling about having the
cameras in your face constantly? And are you approaching it
different this season?

Speaker 3 (05:42):
She's a natra.

Speaker 5 (05:43):
Well, I just got a new dog at heern Em
Sugar and she's and she's wild.

Speaker 6 (05:49):
Having the cameras in your face, It's like you get
more used to it. It's funny.

Speaker 5 (05:53):
The first last year, like the very first time that
ever started filming, you literally think the first twenty minutes,
I mean, you know.

Speaker 6 (06:00):
This, you're a pro at this, You're for me.

Speaker 5 (06:03):
It was like this is never gonna work right, Like,
you notice them, you're very aware of them, You're very
self conscious. You're like adjusting yourself about twenty thirty minutes
in the problem actually is is that you don't notice
that anymore, and you forget that they're there. You know,
so it's uh, yeah, it's a it's a wild ride,
but it's it's very it's been fun. Can I just
say I also wait time out. I'm like been dying

(06:25):
all day. I texted like thirteen of my middle school friends.
Can I take a picture really quick?

Speaker 2 (06:31):
Where you got it?

Speaker 5 (06:33):
I know this really drives you nuts. I've only been
like kind of people know me for like two days.
I'm Gonnada, but there's a million Like my high school
like group chat right now is like when I say,
freaking out, freaking out.

Speaker 6 (06:49):
Oh, I'm like the biggest fan. Well, am I now
a legend. I'm like gonna go to my high school reunions.
It's so picture and me like I made it and
then I'm the least.

Speaker 2 (06:58):
All right, we got a lot to talk, but right now,
let's play some more music. Yamar Courtney Lopez. I guess
today's Brent Whitfield from the Real Housewives of New York.

Speaker 3 (07:07):
So this is the second season for you, and I
love the new cast. You guys are awesome, very very happy.
The last episode, you were seen facetiming with your ex fiance. Yeah,
is he still in the picture? What's going on with that?

Speaker 5 (07:23):
You know? There's there's one question I get all the time, like,
I mean, maybe you know, look, I'm trying to do
my part of bringing there's all you know in our group.
I love our group, but you know a lot of
you know, the in the friend group, they don't necessarily
want to share their partners, you know, And I try
to always. I remember Bravo con fan saying like, just

(07:43):
please share everything, the good in the bad, share everything
and show everything.

Speaker 6 (07:46):
So it's like, okay, I will bring ex boyfriends out
of the woodwork for you guys.

Speaker 5 (07:50):
I'm flying my brother in Brisil and I'm calling ex
boyfriends ex fiancees.

Speaker 2 (07:54):
No.

Speaker 5 (07:55):
But Gideon is great. He's absolutely lovely and he's not
in a relationship. So I feel like, after, look when
you're with someone for seven years old, I'm older, he's older.
I feel like at this point in our lives, so
I guess maybe in a way, you don't even have
the luxury anymore of being like I can just stack
up xs like X, Y and Z like after you
spend so much time in families, know each other and whatnot,

(08:17):
it's like if we can both have a healthy friendship
or whatnot. I think it's a good thing. So he's
a very very amazing X. I have a few exes
that aren't married that are just really really incredible men.
And I think after dating in New York for as
long as I have, I will hold on to any
of the.

Speaker 6 (08:37):
Good ones if they're willing to stick around.

Speaker 2 (08:40):
Wise philosophy. All right, hold on, brit got to take
a break. We're gonna come back. Get into the Housewives
drama more.

Speaker 1 (08:45):
Mario Lopez coming up.

Speaker 4 (08:47):
Mario Courtney Lopez.

Speaker 2 (08:48):
Here we got a Real House by Brian Whitfield on
Zoom with Us.

Speaker 3 (08:51):
So, Brian, what is the dating life like in New York?
You said at one time it was sad and pathetic?
How long do you have?

Speaker 2 (09:00):
It's interesting to hear.

Speaker 6 (09:01):
I go back and forth like something.

Speaker 5 (09:03):
Did you see the study that came out about dating
in New York?

Speaker 6 (09:06):
It was ranked the worst place to date?

Speaker 2 (09:08):
That's surprising.

Speaker 1 (09:09):
Here.

Speaker 2 (09:09):
I was just gonna say, first of all, it's good
that you're friends with your exes. That says a lot
about you if you're still friendly with them. But we
met in New York, and I found New York, as
opposed to LA, to be the best place to be
single because you're constantly in contact with people, and there's
so many people obviously, but you're you're here in LA,
you're kind of stuck in your car and you just
got to go to your little bubble in your ear.

(09:29):
But there you're always meeting people. There's something going on
literally every day. So that's surprising to hear.

Speaker 6 (09:35):
Yeah, it's okay.

Speaker 5 (09:35):
So I've dated in both LA and New York, and
I do prefer New York for exactly what you're explaining. Like,
dating in New York, it's almost it's impossible. You literally
run into people constantly. You run into people you know,
you run into people you don't know, you bump into them,
and it's like there's it feels like there's much more
of a pool just because you're constantly strong with people La.

(09:56):
Dating in La is definitely that was tough.

Speaker 2 (10:00):
Well, good luck to you out there, Hay in there, Brent,
let's play some more music right now, Mario Courtney Lopez,
you're hanging out brittin Whitfield from the Royal Housewives of
New York.

Speaker 3 (10:09):
So the feud with Uba and Ci, is there a
chance of a reconciliation or has that ship sailed?

Speaker 1 (10:15):
Yeah?

Speaker 5 (10:15):
I feel like, look I I it's it's like anything else, right, friends, family,
There's always that hope there. I think that any one
that would say no, absolutely not endors close to something
forever is is not doing them or themselves justice or
doesn't really have hope in like the human condition and
people and growth. I think, you know, in this process,

(10:35):
things happen. You you watch it back and you were like,
that's that was missing or they didn't you.

Speaker 6 (10:43):
Know, did that conversation.

Speaker 5 (10:45):
There was more to that conversation, and there's a whole
lot of context of that. And that person's recollection is
far different brand that two am conversation from mine, you know,
and so you're we remember things differently and things happened differently.

Speaker 6 (10:58):
So it's been hard watching it back.

Speaker 5 (11:00):
I really struggled the first few weeks of filming, and
now watching it back is even harder seeing that it's.

Speaker 6 (11:07):
Just very very much different from recollection.

Speaker 5 (11:11):
Last week I posted a few things on Instagram because
there are some things like saying, oh, I just I
didn't respond to someone I for everything. I have receipts,
you know, and I just posted yes I did I
after being screamed at in public, I didn't do disrespectful thing.
I did a self respecting thing, and I just, you know,
waited till Monday. You know, we did forty eight hours
to take a breather and then sent a very lovely
message back. Like so there's just a lot of that

(11:33):
where watching it back and I'm like seeing something played
on TV and then I look at my phone and
have the exact opposite proof and I'm like, Okay, I
guess that's what reunions are for.

Speaker 6 (11:41):
Ye you know, so.

Speaker 2 (11:43):
Those receipts keep omar. We got more of Britn Whitfield
on the way, But right now, let's get back to music.
You're home more, Courtney Lopez. I guess today is Bryn
Whitfield from the Real Housewives of New York. And you're
gonna be spending a night on the streets to raise
money for youth homelessness.

Speaker 6 (11:58):
Wow.

Speaker 4 (11:59):
Yeah, what's that?

Speaker 6 (12:00):
Yeah, it's incredible.

Speaker 5 (12:01):
So Covenant has this amazing organization that I worked with
with some time, and it's something that's just near and
dear to me. There's so many youth that they help,
So almost nearly sixty thousand a year they help youth
that face home homelessness and home and security and Covenant
House is just amazing. There's locations you know, all across
the world and they're here, you know, open twenty for

(12:22):
seven so twenty four hours a day, seven days a week.
Teens can come in, youth can come in for any reason,
and they can provide you know, in addition to a
warm bed and a meal, but also education, mental health services,
legal services. So for me giving up my bed for
one night, you know, it's not to oh, let's experience
homelessness or something like that. It's just in solidarity with them.

(12:42):
And I can do that for one night and you know,
sleep outside and help to raise awareness and funds and whatever.

Speaker 6 (12:48):
It's completely worth it. I just I love them.

Speaker 5 (12:51):
I've had the opportunity to volunteer and spend so much
time with the kids at the campus here in New York,
and they're just they're freaking fantastic.

Speaker 3 (12:59):
So really nice.

Speaker 2 (13:00):
All Right, we got to take a break, but we're
gonna wrap it up with Bran Widfield's Hold On.

Speaker 1 (13:04):
You're the full interview now on with Mario dot Com
more Mario Lopez on the way.

Speaker 2 (13:09):
What up, Mario Courtney Lopez, You're rappit the exapt with Britain.
Whitfield from the Real Housewives of.

Speaker 3 (13:14):
New York and you recently moved to a new apartment.
What neighborhood are you in now? I love it. We're
sugar with shugs.

Speaker 5 (13:22):
Do you guys know of any really like chic like
dog trainers? Because we're on number three or four with
sugar and it's.

Speaker 2 (13:29):
Wow, getting a little salty sugar. Wow you always been?

Speaker 4 (13:36):
Are you from New York?

Speaker 6 (13:37):
Have you always been in New York? I grew up
in Indiana.

Speaker 5 (13:41):
Grew up in Indiana and then work and spent time
in Los Angeles and then also in New York.

Speaker 2 (13:46):
Okay, but that's home now.

Speaker 6 (13:48):
Yeah, yeah, New York's been home.

Speaker 3 (13:50):
Nice.

Speaker 2 (13:50):
Well, congratulations on the show and everything, and uh listen,
you can watch Real Housewives of New York Tuesdays on Bravo.

Speaker 3 (13:59):
And it was nice.

Speaker 2 (14:00):
Men you, Bren, Thanks for having you.

Speaker 6 (14:02):
Thanks for making me the coolest person in my high
school group.

Speaker 1 (14:04):
Chat.

Speaker 2 (14:05):
That's cool, All right, take care Mario Courtney Lopez. Here
was some quick baby news for you. Actress Alexandra de

(14:26):

I want to be your friends, like Dadario.

Speaker 4 (14:31):
What's up?

Speaker 2 (14:33):
Right anyway from White Lotus and true Detective is welcome
to first child. Name and sex are still.

Speaker 4 (14:39):
Unders in there.

Speaker 2 (14:41):
She better keep Dadario.

Speaker 4 (14:42):
You have to keep no way.

Speaker 2 (14:43):
Her husband's last name is as cool as Dario.

Speaker 4 (14:45):
You have to yphonate it.

Speaker 2 (14:47):
She's got to remain a Dadario.

Speaker 3 (14:48):
And I hope the name starts with a D.

Speaker 2 (14:50):
What if her name is. If it's a son, it's Mario,
Mario di Dario.

Speaker 3 (14:55):
I used to know Sally Ronally and Margot. Robbie has
also become a she had a boy, and we're still
waiting on the names.

Speaker 2 (15:03):
What is going on with that trend?

Speaker 4 (15:04):
But they don't do the name.

Speaker 2 (15:05):
That's the weirdest thing in the world to me.

Speaker 4 (15:07):
For the record, I don't care if she keeps Robbie.

Speaker 1 (15:09):
Yeah, Robbie.

Speaker 3 (15:10):
Maybe the son's name is Robbie.

Speaker 2 (15:12):
Rob Robbie Rob Robbie. All right, congratulations, ladies. Let's get
back to the music. You're omar Courney Lopez. Let's get
to your comments. What you got today, honey.

Speaker 3 (15:21):
This is from at Frozen Bell and she said female
frogs are the only ones who have to trick a mate.
I'm always pretending to be asleep or have a headache.

Speaker 2 (15:31):
Yes, this is off of something I posted which I
thought was really funny. The headline read in some animal
type of account that I follow, that female frogs fake
their own death to avoid mating with males they don't like,
to which I said, the lengths female species go to
My goodness, that is so funny. More Mario Lopez coming up,

(15:57):
you're Amar Courney Lopez. Got a couple of birthday shout out.
We're gonna try to guess the ages. What do we got?

Speaker 4 (16:02):
Kevin Jonas you may know him from the Jonas Brothers.

Speaker 3 (16:06):
Kevin Jonas is forty.

Speaker 2 (16:11):
I'm gonna say he is thirty seven.

Speaker 4 (16:13):
Thirty seven is correct?

Speaker 2 (16:14):
Wow, big Kevin Jonas guy.

Speaker 4 (16:17):
Of course, summer of sixty nine. Everything I do, I
do it for you. Brian cuts like a knife, do it?

Speaker 2 (16:23):
I am a first sixty Brian Adams. Is that'd be
great if you was.

Speaker 4 (16:32):
One of Canada's proudest sons.

Speaker 2 (16:34):
Yes, yes, absolutely, I'm gonna say he's sixty four.

Speaker 3 (16:40):
I'm gonna say sixty nine, sixty.

Speaker 2 (16:42):
Five, Oh so close.

Speaker 4 (16:44):
And the matriarch of the Kardashian clan, Chris Jenner, the Mamager.

Speaker 3 (16:53):
She looks great. They don't really know what she would
really look like.

Speaker 7 (16:59):
She's sixty six, seventy two, sixty nine? Wow, okay, oh
she's sixty nine. More Mario Lopez coming up, Marrio Courtney Lopez.

Speaker 2 (17:10):
Here, not just election day?

Speaker 4 (17:12):
What are the.

Speaker 2 (17:12):
Holiday are we celebrating today?

Speaker 5 (17:13):

Speaker 3 (17:14):
It is National Redhead Day.

Speaker 2 (17:16):
Shout out to all the gingers out there. My mount
rushmore of redheads in no particular order, is going to
be number one male and female. Lucille ball come on,
I love Lucy and h Rick Astley is up there.

Speaker 4 (17:35):
Opie Cunningham, you better throw Ron Howard at Sharon and maybe.

Speaker 3 (17:40):
At Sharon Rick Marker maybe.

Speaker 4 (17:43):
Yeah, he's not moult Rush Yeah, yeah, so those are
those four on thinkin he was a male cheerleader.

and Marshall Marshall from pap Patrol. That's fun We're also
getting a new Spider Man. Thanksgiving is November twenty eight.

Speaker 2 (18:14):
Nice Joe, Mario, Courtney Lopez, Martha Stewart throwing Ryan Reynolds
under the bus in the Hollywood Buzz.

Speaker 1 (18:23):
On with Mario Lopez Hollywood Bus.

Speaker 2 (18:26):
So it sounds like Martha Stewart gives zeros when it
comes to her opinion on Ryan Reynolds. She was asked
which celebrities are the most fun to hang out with,
and when she spilled the tea, she says, Ryan not
so funny in real life. He was actually pretty serious
all the time. She says, he's good at acting funny,
but not in real life. Oh, Martha, keeping it real.
I like when you start getting older, you don't care

(18:47):
and you just are brutally honest.

Speaker 3 (18:49):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (18:49):
She also says her fun list includes Snoop, Taylor Swift,
and George Clooney.

Speaker 3 (18:54):
Oh that's cool, you know, not to mention any names,
but we have some friends that are comedians, and when
we're around them, they're not funny.

Speaker 2 (19:02):
No, they're they're on the quiet side and a little
more reserved. And it's ironic because there's some people that
are very, very funny, just as people Hello Oh my god.

Speaker 4 (19:16):
Well, obviously there's people like us, I think he some
people don't realize they're funny.

Speaker 2 (19:21):
Yes, exactly, they're funny to everyone.

Speaker 4 (19:23):
Around them, but they don't understand.

Speaker 2 (19:24):
That more Mario Lopez on the way, Well, Corney Lopez,
here was some quick buzz for you. Teddy Mellankin from
the Real House Size of Beverly Hills, who we just
talked to not too long ago, is calling it quits
on her marriage. She filed for divorce from her husband
in thirteen years. They have three kids together, a twelve
year old, a ten year old, and a four year old.

(19:44):
Oh that's sad to hear.

Speaker 3 (19:45):
Yeah, I didn't see this coming. Teddy wants custody and
spousal support. The marriage has had its share of ups
and downs over the year. I mean, that's marriage. And
they nearly divorced during her first season on Housewives back
in twenty seventeen. I don't remember that.

Speaker 2 (20:00):
They've had some issues. Well, let's hope it's amicable. All right,
let's get back to the music. What up, Mario Courtney Lopez. Here,
Ariana Grande is reclaiming her full birth name, starting with
a movie Wicked. She'll be credited as Ariana Grande but
Terra Grande Butterra. Kind of a cool name, I gotta
be honest. Chance comes after she reconnected with her father,

(20:21):
who hadn't been a part of her life for the
past ten years. Oh wow.

Speaker 3 (20:25):
Apparently her parents split when she was only eight years old.
So that's tough. But I love a happy ending.

Speaker 2 (20:32):
Yeah, I'm glad she's back with her dad. Good for all. Right,
let's get back to the music. Joon Mario Courtney Lopez.
Time now for one last thing. The music community is
mourning the loss of superstar producer Quincy Jones. He passed
away Sunday night at the age of ninety one, so
that's quite a run. He started composing, producing and arranging

(20:53):
in the late fifties. He made hits like Leslie Gore's
It's My Party.

Speaker 6 (21:06):
You would got to it happened to.

Speaker 2 (21:10):
Wow, that is an old school song.

Speaker 3 (21:13):
Well, and his biggest commercial success came with the three
albums he produced for Michael Jackson, Off the Wall, Thriller
and Bad.

Speaker 2 (21:32):
Some of the three best albums ever.

Speaker 3 (21:35):
Yes, and he even composed the theme to Austin Powers.

Speaker 2 (21:44):
Let Me tell You Some Quincy Jones was truly a
musical genius. He was a composer, like a real composer,
He led orchestras, he could play a bunch of different instruments.
Obviously an incredible writer and look at what he produced. Wow,
that is a true music legend that is now gone.

Speaker 1 (22:02):
Well, Mario Lopez, we'll be right back.

Speaker 2 (22:04):
All right, we're out of here, but we're back tomorrow
with a new case in Courtney's court.

Speaker 3 (22:08):
Plus all the latest Hollywood buzz. Until then, this is
Mario and Courtney Lopez saying good night.
