And for another point, where does his family go? In
part two?
Speaker 2 (04:49):
They go to Italy? Italy is not correct. They go
to the Caribbean.
Speaker 5 (04:55):
Incorrect but close. So I'll give you a prop Miami.
Speaker 2 (04:58):

Speaker 3 (05:03):
You guys are so ridiculous.
Speaker 5 (05:05):
There are two questions left in ELF. Buddy had to

That's your boy, Jamie Fox. I love me some Jamie Fox. Too.
(08:11):
Great guy. I'm gonna say he's fifty seven.
Speaker 3 (08:16):
I honestly have no idea because he's looked the same
for if.
Speaker 2 (08:18):
It really has looked exactly the same forever.

(09:26):
a few more songs, Hang, Gonna Fire up Zoom and
Ketchup with Jennifer Love Hugh at Mario Lopez Here a
new holiday movie over on Lifetime called The Holiday Junkie
Back to Get the Scoop and ketchup with Love. Next,
it's Ubra Mario Lopez and joining me right now on
Zoom my longtime friend and former neighbor, actually my girl,
Jennifer Love Hewitt. How are you good?
Speaker 4 (09:47):
How are you?
Speaker 2 (09:48):
I'm well, I'm very happy to be talking to you.
I saw you fortunately just the other day, and my gosh,
it has been years and now I get to see
you twice in one week. I feel so blessed we're
back back. Meanwhile, you've got a new Christmas movie coming
to Lifetime called The Holiday Junkie, And this one you
start with your husband and I know some of your
(10:10):
kids were in it, right, I don't know if all
of them.
Speaker 4 (10:11):
Were in Yes, it's a whole family, Whole family.
Speaker 2 (10:13):
Fair, How family of fair?
Speaker 4 (10:16):
Now?
Speaker 2 (10:16):
Was this premise something you came up with or was
it presented to you?
Speaker 6 (10:20):
It was something that I came up with and pitched
to Lifetime to sort of it's it's it kind of
goes along loosely with my book that's out, and it's
in honor of my mom. But also I really felt
like it was important to do a Christmas movie that
had grief in us, because so many people feel pressure
at the holidays to be perfect and have everything be
happy and up and wonderful all the time, and it's
(10:43):
not always that way for people, and so we really
wanted to do a movie for people who are dealing
with difficult things at Christmas.
Speaker 2 (10:48):
You're exactly right, It is very sad for a lot
of people because if they lost a loved one. Yeah,
and stuff that's going on in their life. So that's
cool that you're addressing that. So the premise Holiday Junkie,
you play a holiday I'm not a junkie.
Speaker 4 (11:06):
But holiday don't get obsessed with the holidays.
Speaker 6 (11:10):
And I am hired by families to create Christmas magic,
whether it be an itinerary or poor or whatever. And
when I arrive, I find out that there is a
house manager that I did not know was going to
be there, played by my husband who's also in grief
that Christmas because he was left at the altar, and
we sort of have to be forced together and in
(11:31):
that end up having a really beautiful, magical maybe best
Christmas ever.
Speaker 2 (11:35):
That is awesome, And I'm so glad we cleared it
up because it'd be hard to picture you as a
heroin addict that goes bonkers the holidays.
Speaker 4 (11:43):
You know what, she shoots candy canes, candy canes. That's
the difference.
Speaker 2 (11:46):
Again, the movie is the Holiday Junkie and Hay tied
for me. We're gonna have more with Jennifer Lovewitt coming
up after a quick break.
Speaker 1 (11:53):
Habby Holidays from the entire on with Mario fam more
Fest and fun coming.
Speaker 2 (11:57):
Up Maire Lopez here, getting back to Jennifer Love Hewitt,
who is on Zoom. Her new Christmas movie is The
Holiday Junkie. And you wrote and sang a song yeah
for the movie too. Tell me about that.
Speaker 4 (12:09):
Yeah, it's called Christmas Magic.
Speaker 6 (12:12):
We have this like big dance scene and party scene
in the movie, and I was like, I want to
do something for this. I want to write an original.
So I did, and we recorded it and it's in
the movie. And then Nick and I who produced it
and covered it with me, we released it on Spotify
and people have been using it.
Speaker 4 (12:29):
In their Instagram stories now and it's really cute.
Speaker 2 (12:31):
It's fun. Jennifer Love Hewitt on Zoom with us this hour,
Mario Lopez here, And you mentioned your your book a
moment ago, just in time for Christmas. Of course it'd
be a great stalking stuffer Inheriting Magic, and it a
little more than just a memoir. I know you're paying
homage to your mom, who I absolutely loved.
Speaker 4 (12:50):
She loved you too very much.
Speaker 2 (12:52):
She's a sweetheart. Was that I gotta imagine a therapeutic
process as well, and it was.
Speaker 6 (12:59):
It was I mean, I really like eleven years into
her passing that I hadn't really said anything publicly about her,
and I think it's because, unfortunately, when she passed, I
had a very long flight home to not know at
that point whether or not I was going.
Speaker 4 (13:13):
To see her again or miss that goodbye.
Speaker 7 (13:15):
And when I arrived, the press had already known about
it because it had already hit everywhere before I landed,
which was like really hard for me, and so I
just for a long time didn't know what to say.
Speaker 4 (13:27):
And then one day I started.
Speaker 6 (13:28):
Writing about it, and my husband was like, this is
really beautiful stuff and it feels like it's not only
good for you, but maybe now is the time you
say something, and this is the way that you could
say it.
Speaker 4 (13:38):
And he was like, just keep writing and see what
it turns into. And so it turned into this, you.
Speaker 6 (13:41):
Know, sort of the beginning part of the book, and
then I kind of go on from there. But yeah,
it was very therapeutic, and I feel much closer to her,
and it's just been such a great time to honor
her this way.
Speaker 2 (13:55):
That's beautiful. I'm sure she's very proud looking, I hope
so Lamara dot com for more on Inheriting Magic. As
we get back to the music. Catching up with Jennifer
love you at this hour, you're on with Mario Lopez,
and of course you're still starring in the show nine
to one one on ABC as well. It's funny because
I think I've talked to just about everyone in the cast, but.
Speaker 6 (14:16):
You Why was I left out?
Speaker 2 (14:21):
I have no idea.
Speaker 4 (14:22):
I know something I said I was starting on.
Speaker 2 (14:24):
I was starting to take it personal. Wet me too. Now,
how long? How long we've been doing that show?
Speaker 3 (14:29):
Love?
Speaker 4 (14:31):
Seven years?
Speaker 2 (14:32):
Is that right?
Speaker 4 (14:33):
Yeah, it's been an eighth season, but I've been on
seven years. Yeah, it's crazy.
Speaker 2 (14:37):
That's awesome. That's awesome. And for those who may not
be familiar, you play I.
Speaker 6 (14:41):
Play Maddie, who was a dispatcher on the show who
came into the show on the run from her abusive husband,
also played by my real life husband.
Speaker 2 (14:50):
Oh is oh really? I love that terrible.
Speaker 4 (14:52):
To me on that show and she's now so she.
Speaker 6 (14:56):
Gets like this great love story with one of the firefighters.
The show sort of starts over and yeah, she has
a big storyline coming up when we return in March.
Speaker 2 (15:06):
Oh, that's awesome. Hey, I'm all about keeping it in
the family. That's that's right. That's great. Yeah, for sure.
And I know they're they're they're rebooting your your iconic film.
I know what you did last summer. Have they possibly
approached you about doing a cameo or something or is
it they have?
Speaker 6 (15:23):
They have?
Speaker 4 (15:24):
They have. We've been talking about it for a very
long time, like.
Speaker 6 (15:28):
A year, yes, basically, and we're super close, very close
to being able to make an announcement on whether or
not it's going to work out.
Speaker 2 (15:37):
So oh, I look forward to that too. Yes, I
think I may have told you, but I think that
is like a perfect introductory film for teens in the
horror genre. My daughter is really into these horror films
and slasher films or of that nature, and that's those
are the things we sort of those are our movies
we bond on.
Speaker 4 (15:57):
Well, if I want to, she has to come visit.
Speaker 2 (16:00):
Oh absolutely, Oh, thank you so much. I will take
you up for you how it goes, I will take
you home and that thank you. Yes, you're the full.
Speaker 1 (16:07):
Interview now at On with Mario dot Com, Abby Howadays
from the entire On with Mario, fam or Fest and
fun coming up.
Speaker 2 (16:15):
Wrapping up with Jennifer Love Hewet you're on with Mario
Lopez before you go. You also have three kids, right,
just like me, girls boys, or.
Speaker 4 (16:22):
My oldest is a girl, and then two boys.
Speaker 2 (16:24):
Oh just like me. Yeah, girl and two boys right there.
Speaker 6 (16:27):
Boys are wild, yeah they are, and girls are just
not as wild.
Speaker 4 (16:31):
You're exactly Well maybe they aren't their teenagers, but.
Speaker 2 (16:34):
Oh yeah, oh no, no, well that's a different kind
of it's not so much wild, just and not so
much with me. No, she's gonna be like that with you,
because I see my daughter in the in the moms,
I'm sure you can probably wait to let the get
a it's the attitude and you go from mom to
brauh real quick?
Speaker 6 (16:50):
Oh yeahs has tried to call me Bra, and we're
in a phase where I'm explaining to him very firmly
that I am not bro.
Speaker 2 (16:57):
Yeah yeah, no exactly. But my boys UFC every night
with mind. Boys. What are they? What are they into?
Do you have him any sort of activities?
Speaker 6 (17:05):
My daughter is like an amazing artist. She's also interested
in acting and dancing and all that stuff. Atticus is
sports all the time, and the baby who's three, is
really amazing at sports. But he's also he also loves
to draw and do art, and he's an incredible dancer.
Speaker 2 (17:24):
Nice.
Speaker 6 (17:25):
Yes, so I feel like maybe you should you should
nurture that for him and like, you know, push that
along because you're such a great dancer.
Speaker 2 (17:31):
Thank you so much.
Speaker 4 (17:32):
Well.
Speaker 2 (17:32):
That and wrestling. I would encourage your boys, yes, yeah,
to do that.
Speaker 4 (17:37):
I feel like Atticus would be amazing at wrestling.
Speaker 2 (17:38):
Yes, listen, I think it's it's it's wonderful for uh
for for young boys and teaches them discipline, confidence, all
the above, not to mention self defense, of course. And meanwhile,
be sure to catch Jennifer love Hewitt in the Holiday
Junkie on Lifetime. Yay, so great to see you again.
Speaker 4 (17:57):

Ah things about to get passionately random and steep it
up in here Mario Courtney Lopez. Time for our fake
debate where the topics are made up on the spot,
but the passion is real. Who's gonna be pro? Who's
gonna be cont today?
Speaker 5 (18:50):
You will be conn Courtney will be pro because I
think it was the other way last week. Your topic today,
which you will have fifteen seconds to make your case
for and then a ten second buddle afterwards, is being
excluded from reindeer games, Missus Lopez.
Speaker 3 (19:06):
I think being excluded from reindeer games is a good
thing because it teaches you how exclusion is something of
the world, and when we are of the world, we
can really search love, and if we don't have love,
we just have exclusion. So it gets you set.
Speaker 5 (19:21):
Thank you, and we are the world.
Speaker 2 (19:23):
I think, mister Lopez, nobody wants to be excluded from anything.
It's all about inclusivity. Look at poor Rudolph when he
was excluded from reindeer games. He felt isolated, alone, depressed,
borderline suicidal. Can't have that.
Speaker 3 (19:39):
You're just putting stories out there. He did not get
that depressed. He's fine now, he's thriving, he's living his life.
He's a grandfather of twenty seven deer and he's just
it's divorced, but he's he's doing well.
Speaker 2 (19:54):
Mister Lopez. Never nice to exclude someone, especially during the holidays.
You'll automatically get put on the naughty list. So include everyone,
be nice, keep it moving, a.
Speaker 1 (20:07):
Happy howadays from the entire on with Mario fam more
fest and fun coming up.

on ig we love hearing from you. Who gets the
honor this week? Honey, I do yes you do in honor?
To read it.
Speaker 3 (21:10):
This is from aut Ian Carmel. He said, I need
all the help I can get when it comes to
holiday shopping. But every gift guide for men is like
a flannel flask to hold your knife flavored whiskey.
Speaker 2 (21:22):
It is uh very popular to get men a flask.
The crazy thing is you can't really take a flask anywhere.
I would love to take it to like the baseball
games when we go talking to your mic. Not only
do they know what a flask is. I would like
to take it to the baseball games. You do, But yes,
but I can't get I can't get the metal nice ones.
Speaker 3 (21:43):
I got it.
Speaker 2 (21:43):
It's camouflage ones that are like plastics, like.
Speaker 5 (21:46):
The sneaky ones.
Speaker 2 (21:47):
The sneaky one.
Speaker 3 (21:48):
Remember you bought me one a long time ago. That
was a scarf in a scarf.
Speaker 2 (21:52):
Yes, they make some of that, that's right, the ones
in the scarf. That's a good one. They make some that.
Speaker 5 (21:56):
Also you hide under your shirt and it looks like
you have a beer belly or something, but it's really
like a giant bladder filled with booze.
