Speaker 2 (00:29):
A Mario Courtney Lopez making a quick digital pit stop
at all Maria dot com so my wife can tell
us what's trended.
Speaker 3 (00:34):
Pete Davison has revealed the uncomfortable amount of costs to
remove his tattoos.
Speaker 2 (00:39):
Whatever was it was a good investment. He had some
of the worst tattoos ever seen.
Speaker 3 (00:42):
The it had to have been so uncomfortable it was
all over his body. Plus the amount I don't even
I mean insane. Teddy Mellencamp is giving an extremely emotional
update on her cancer battle. Things are looking good.
Speaker 2 (00:54):
Oh fancy her.
Speaker 3 (00:55):
My heart is aching for her and her kids, and
you can watch Ed Sheeran Noah con duel in front
of a surprise Nashville crowd. Okay on with Mario dot
com for all that morning, All.
Speaker 2 (01:07):
Mario Lopez, a few more songs and get life acts
in Courtney's Corner. Corney also tells me she's got a
random thought to share a little later as well. In
the meantime more music. As a matter of fact, if
you got a request, slide them into our mentions over
on ig at ol Mario Lopez.
Speaker 1 (01:23):
Ya, Mario Courtney Lopez.
Speaker 2 (01:24):
Time to learn a new life act. What is a
topic today at Courtney's Corner?
Speaker 3 (01:28):
Airline travel, So this is going viral on TikTok, but
it's a little naughty or at least passive aggressive. There's
a lot of debate over whether or not it's okay
to recline your seatback during a flight. If you think
it's not okay, this is what you can do. Turn
the air conditioner above you on full blast and point
(01:49):
it at the top of their head.
Speaker 2 (01:51):
Well, first of all, I have an issue, So I'm like.
Speaker 3 (01:53):
Even upset with myself for even saying this, because I'm
a seat recliner.
Speaker 2 (01:58):
It reclines for for reason, And if you have the option,
then it's up to you whether you want to recline
or not. Now, if I happen to have a larger
individual behind me and it's really affecting them, and if
they want to put this trade down to eat, then okay,
I'll be gracious enough to not do that. But if
(02:21):
some skinny dudes back there and just doesn't want me
to recline, I'm sorry. But if I'm tired and i
want to take a little nap, I'm gonna recline.
Speaker 3 (02:28):
By the way, it's inches they act like you're lying
that exactly.
Speaker 2 (02:32):
It's recline, right, It's not a lazy exactly right.
Speaker 1 (02:37):
More Mario Lopez coming up Almorrow, Courtney Lopez putting a
spotlight on my wife for Cordo's random thought.
Speaker 2 (02:46):
What you got, honey?
Speaker 3 (02:47):
You know, I wonder if my recorded call has ever
been used for training or quality purposes. You know, when
you call somewhere and they're like you're being recorded for
training and you have a.
Speaker 2 (02:58):
Good voice, I'm sure it has been.
Speaker 4 (02:59):
I guess mine's been used for training purposes of how
to deal with someone who's very upset.
Speaker 3 (03:04):
I could see that he like to complain.
Speaker 4 (03:06):
Yes, I just have a problem getting through the robot
person to get to a real friend.
Speaker 3 (03:16):
I'm calling that fronts.
Speaker 2 (03:20):
Amaro Courtney Lopez. Going the extra mile for those we
love is a great way to show how much we care.
So what would you do for a loved one When
new research says we're willing to do a lot, we are.
Speaker 3 (03:31):
Most of us would act as a job reference. Of course,
your friend actually was doing that for your sister and
his job. His description of your sister was deplorable.
Speaker 2 (03:46):
It was just like one no, it was like.
Speaker 3 (03:49):
She was applying to be a substitute teacher. And all
he put was like she's great with kids or.
Speaker 2 (03:55):
Something very like.
Speaker 3 (04:00):
Haye help, and she was like you thanks. Half of
us would suffer through going to the DMV for the
sake of our loved ones I love.
Speaker 2 (04:10):
That's like up there with picking them up in the airport.
Speaker 3 (04:11):
Exactly two and five of us would happily donate an
organ to someone close to us.
Speaker 2 (04:16):
Ooh, that's next level, next level, And get this.
Speaker 3 (04:19):
Eighty percent of us would share one hundred thousand with
our loved ones if it suddenly fell in our love.
Speaker 2 (04:25):
Well, the key phrase there suddenly fell in our lab. Well,
when does one hundred dollars it does suddenly just follow
your left trees and something. Yeah, why, sure, everybody's real
generous if you got money just falling in your lab.
Speaker 4 (04:38):
Yeah, with theoretical money, I'm very generous all day in America.
Speaker 2 (04:41):
All right, let's get back to the music. What have
your al Mario Lopez taking another look at the Hollywood
Buzz because mother Monsta wants to be a mama.
Speaker 1 (04:50):
On with Mario the Hollywood Bush.
Speaker 2 (04:54):
So Lady Daga wants to be a mama, and it
didn't waste anytime making sure her now fiance Michael Polan
was on board. She revealed to GMA that when she
and Polanski finally had their first date after three weeks
of speaking on the phone every day of high school,
she immediately asked him about having kids and if you
wanted to get married, because she wanted marriage and kids
more than anything, adding, I think I wanted him to
(05:16):
know that I was a family girl. I like that
she knows what she wants and no messing around.
Speaker 4 (05:21):
Right, it's so likely the opposite of the image that
has been projected of her for like a decade and
a half.
Speaker 2 (05:26):
Yeah, that's sort of like a character. I guess Stephanie Jermata,
which is.
Speaker 4 (05:30):
A real nice family girl.
Speaker 2 (05:31):
Yeah, I wants to be a nice family girl. She
also recently told my show Access Hollywood how much she
wants to become a parent, saying that she hopes it
happens sometime in the next decade. They're quite the team.
He was even involved on her new album Mayhem, co
writing a song that was inspired by his marriage proposal.
So good luck kids.
Speaker 1 (05:48):
More Mario Lopez coming up a.
Speaker 2 (05:51):
Mark Cordo Lopez, Ryse Dallas Howard zooming in next Hour
to talk about her new doc Pets, which you can
see over on Disney Plus. Sticking with a pets theme,
I saw this and thought it was interesting. If you're
a pet owner, there's a good chance you have a
nickname for your pet that you use more than their
actual name. Reddit asks readers to share theirs, and the
responses are pretty creative. Some of the nicknames people dropped
and the replies doodle bug, doctor, fats, rodent, monster, fluffy butt, Satan. Well,
(06:18):
it makes me think of our first dog, Julio, because
we used to call him. That's right, you did well,
and Salvador we call him sal for short.
Speaker 3 (06:30):
I call him Sally Salito, and Oscar we call him.
I actually started calling Sal Sally Hirschberger the other day,
and I don't know why I don't do that.
Speaker 2 (06:39):
Oscar we keep it Oscar though.
Speaker 3 (06:41):
Huh No, I call him Oscar Lio.
Speaker 4 (06:44):
It just like a little play on it.
Speaker 3 (06:45):
I call him Dominic calls him my little Potato.
Speaker 1 (06:52):
Lopez On the.
Speaker 2 (06:53):

Mario Lopez here about to fire up zoom and chat
with actress director Bryce Dallas Howard, going to get the
scoop on her new Disney plus doc Pets and a
whole lot more. First host some more Music's up, Bro,
Mario Lopez joining me now on Zoom actress and director
Bryce Dallas Howard. How are you, Bryce, I'm very good.
(07:52):
How are you? I'm doing well. Always nice to see
you and congratulations. I love this doc because I'm a
big animal lover. It's out on Disney Plus called Pets,
and it's all about the connection between humans and their pets.
Right I have three dogs. I feel pretty connected. A
little closer to one maybe than the other two, but
for the most part, you know, love them all.
Speaker 3 (08:13):
Yeah, of course, of course.
Speaker 5 (08:15):
It's like your children. You don't You don't have a
favorite child, You just have an easiest child.
Speaker 2 (08:19):
Right, Well, I have. I always tell them when they
asked me the favorite, I said, it varies. Sometimes in
my favorite, sometimes in my favorite, depending on it all that,
you know what I mean. But what kind of pet
stories do you follow on this dog?
Speaker 5 (08:31):
Well, I mean it's it was a really fun experience
because there's kind of three areas that we that we explored.
One is that I interviewed kids about their pets. Kids
are sort of the narrators of this documentary. It's sort
(08:52):
of narrated by a Greek chorus of children.
Speaker 2 (08:54):
Oh that's cool.
Speaker 5 (08:56):
Have kind of the greatest hits of my favorite viral
videos that give me dopamine hits, you know when you
watch them with pet And then we profiled a number
of pets and their people around the world, folks in
particular who work in the rescue space and so so yeah,
(09:18):
those kind of stories of mutual rescue. There.
Speaker 2 (09:21):
What great family viewing right there. Well, can't wait to
watch it with the whole fan dam all right, Bryce,
hang time for me going to take a quick break
and we're going to come back with Bryce Al's Howard.
Speaker 1 (09:29):
More fun on the way on with Mario Lopez.
Speaker 2 (09:32):
Getting back to today's guest actress and director Bryce Dallis Howard.
Mario Lopez here getting the scoop on a new Disney
Plus doc Pets, And I gotta imagine there were some
wild pets. Did you have some pretty wild pets in
the doc or some of those.
Speaker 5 (09:45):
Well, I mean I tried, I tried to be careful
because it's there's a there's sort of a fine line
between you know, you don't like you shouldn't have a
wild pet, you know, like they're like a pet is domesticated,
whereas a wild animal is a wild animal. Now in
the rescue space. You know that if if there's stay
(10:08):
like there's uh Rodney Stops, one of the characters, one
of the guys who we profiled in this he he
rehabilitates birds of prey and uh, and so it's not
uh the relationship is almost like that of a pet
and a human, but the goal is to release the
(10:29):
bird back into the wild. So yeah, so there's so
we do go kind of in that direction. There's pigs,
there's goats, there's sheep, there's you know, obviously the classic
pets and dogs.
Speaker 2 (10:42):
All of that nice. All right, Well, Pets is streaming
right now in Disney plus a few more songs, and
we're going to come back with Bryce Dallas Howard talking
about this new Disney plus Dot Pets with actress and
director Bryce Dallas Howard. You're all with Mario Lopez and Bryce.
You grew up with a bunch of different pets, didn't you.
Speaker 5 (11:01):
Yeah, I had kind of My household was the household
where when folks in the neighborhood were like, oh, I
don't know, we might need to rehome an animals, like
bring them to the Howards like that was sort of
that was sort of the vibe would you have which
lucky Oh my gosh, well I had uh I just
(11:24):
get ready, okay, I'm just gonna put this in here
for a second. Okay, So there were snakes and goats
and sheep and chicken and I'll pack dogs and hats
and you know and and you know, just lot lots
and lot guinea hens.
Speaker 2 (11:43):
Dang, that is already say pig. Yeah, yeah, yeah, that's great. Yeah,
a little farm out there. I like it. Yeah, I
like the way the Howard there. All right, Ry, hang on,
we got to get back to the music. We're gonna
have more of rice coming up. All Mario Lopez, actress,
director Bryce Dallas Howard hanging out on Zoom with us
(12:04):
this hour. I've been talking about our new doc Pets.
But you're also going to be in a new movie
called deep Cover, right with you and Orlando Bloom.
Speaker 3 (12:11):
Yeah.
Speaker 5 (12:12):
Yeah, yeah yeah, I'm going to be coming out in June.
Uh so that'll be that'll be really fun. That was
It's like it's about a bunch of improv comedians basically
getting sucked into kind of an underground crime ring, and
because they're improv comedians, they say yes and.
Speaker 2 (12:33):
That sounds hilarious. That sounds hilarious. Oh gods, I want
to see that deep cover. That's great.
Speaker 1 (12:39):
Uh.
Speaker 2 (12:39):
And you're gonna be doing some more directing a movie
called All of Her. What is that about?
Speaker 3 (12:45):
Oh, that's cool.
Speaker 2 (12:46):
That's in.
Speaker 5 (12:47):
Uh gosh, I mean what, I don't know what I
can reveal or not. We actually we just got the
script in for it. It was fantastic. It's written by a
writer named Sarah Striker and it's it's basically all I
can say is that one actress plays multiple parts. Okay,
and it's a it's a romantic comedy.
Speaker 2 (13:08):
Fair enough, Okay.
Speaker 5 (13:10):
Whoever that actress is, she's going to be busy.
Speaker 2 (13:13):
All right, Well, Bryce hank Ty, one more thing I
want to ask quick break, we're going to come back
and wrap it up.
Speaker 1 (13:18):
You're the full interview now on with Mario Doug More
Mario Lopez.
Speaker 2 (13:22):
On the way, wrapping things up with Bryce Dallas Howard.
You're on with Mario Lopez and Bryce. Last thing I
wanted to mention, I love that you're following in your
dad's footsteps, by the way with the acting and the directing,
and absolutely love him. Had the pleasure of uh, he's
actually directed me in some spots and interviewing throughout the years,
and he's he's just an awesome guy. Obviously, he's a
huge fan growing up. And he recently said he'd return
(13:43):
to acting if you cast and directed him in a film.
Any chance you might take him up on that? Oh
my gosh, I should be so lucky.
Speaker 5 (13:51):
I uh, it's it's really cool because he's always like
acting acting was was his first love and his way
his way into the storytelling business. But pretty young, it
was obvious that, you know, he wanted to be a
director and that he was working toward that goal and
(14:12):
all of that. And over the years I've sort of
mentioned to him, I'm like, god, it would be so great.
You know, how do you think you'd be as an actor?
Like what do you think you'd be? And he and
he's like, you know, I've really I would like to
think that I've gotten to work with all these incredible
actors that maybe maybe I've continued learning in some way,
shape or form. Like he's so sweet, He's like, you know,
(14:34):
like you can only direct Tom Hanks so many times
and not learn a few things because he's just so great.
So so he's he's always sort of said that to me,
like I would love to be in something you act
and or that's something that you direct. But actually he
just shot this show the studio and I was so
nervous that I was so nervous about it that I
(14:56):
went with him in person because I, like, I know
Seth Rogan and stuff. We did a movie called fifty
to fifty together.
Speaker 2 (15:03):
Yeah, yeah, And.
Speaker 5 (15:05):
So I was like, Okay, I'm going to go and
like you know, I'm going to be the sort of
the mamager and go and like stay with the talent today.
Speaker 3 (15:15):
And he was so good.
Speaker 5 (15:17):
It was intimidating, like he had he nailed everything. I'd like,
there was no pickup, Like the rehearsal was like, why
weren't we shooting this? He was so strong, and so
I was just I was really, really, really really proud
of him.
Speaker 2 (15:34):
Of course he was. He's a legend. That's awesome. I
can't wait to check I can't wait to check that out.
That is awesome. Well, I really appreciate your time today
and listen to everyone. Please be sure to check out
bryce Is new documentary Pets, which is streaming right now
on Disney Plus Rice. So good to see you soon.
Thanks so much for checking in.
Speaker 5 (15:52):
Thank you so much, so good to see you, and
I hope when I see you next I get to
meet at least one of your pups.
Speaker 2 (15:59):
One that's good, sounds good. I'll show your picture's worst case.
Speaker 5 (16:02):
Yeah, for sure, for sure, for sure I will be
harassing you.
Speaker 2 (16:05):
Okay, take care all right? Thanks seeing you, Thank you
so much. Keeping the music and fun coming your way.
More on Courtney Lopez. Here was some quick health buzz.
If you're one of those people who dreads Monday to
Friday and only looks forward to days off on the weekend,
well you might want to rethink that. Not a shock,
but mental health experts say that's not the most fulfilling
way to live. That we need to make the most
(16:27):
of all those days in between, suggesting adding more activities
you like to the weekday evenings. Even if you feel
like you're tired after work and just want to break
in the evening, experts say pushing yourself to do something
can also be energizing. Well, listen, love what I do,
so I love getting up in the morning and with
the kids. Obviously, you got stuff to look forward to
every day. But as far as me venturing out to
(16:49):
do stuff. I kind of try to keep that in
the weekend because you.
Speaker 3 (16:53):
Know, I don't have any energy.
Speaker 2 (16:54):
Yeah, that's got to sleep. We got to sleep, and
if we do do something during the week a nap
is mandatory. Almar Courtney Lopez put the spotlight on my
wife for the moment because she is chomping at the bit.
Ask a random question. What you got, honey?
Speaker 3 (17:10):
What bugs you or annoys you more than anything in
this entire world.
Speaker 2 (17:15):
Oh, there's a lot of things that bug me. Uh
slow driver, I mean that was my number one. You know,
I think disloyalty, not being appreciative, not being grateful, hypocrites
probably top of the list. I hear that, Yes, So
(17:37):
if I have to, I have to have a list.
They're all kind of in that same Vein more Mario
Lopez coming up music rolls on Mario Lopez here leting
you know that I heard radio was bringing you five things?
Was Zara larsen All in celebration of her new single
pretty Ugly. Got to interview her recently. What a sweetheart,
super witty and clever, in fun and beautiful and great dancer.
(18:03):

into our dms over on Instagram at On with Mario.
Speaker 2 (18:22):
Lopez, A Mario Lopez and Delta Burke might be the
original Heisenberg.
Speaker 1 (18:29):
On with Mario Hollywood Buzz.
Speaker 2 (18:32):
So I posted about this. I just thought it was
such a wild story. Back in the eighties, Designing Women
was one of the biggest sitcoms on CBS. It had
Gene Smart, Dixie Carter, and Delta Burke, who was really
the standout actress there. She played Suzanne sugar Baker and
she was great in it. And she was great. She's
(18:52):
now admitting, however, that she used to do crystal meth
back in the day to curb her appetize. She was method, Yeah,
very method. She couldn't get the diet pills that she
was taking in the UK. Obviously this is before oh Zempi,
And it's just bizarre because she was on TV made
a lot of money. It was just an interesting choice.
Is it cheaper? It's cheaper, right, really super cheap. It's
(19:12):
much cheaper, but you have awful side effects. Anybody that
has known people that use crystal mad their teeth fall out,
their skin gets really bad. It is really really bad.
Speaker 1 (19:22):
So wow, Mario Lopez coming up.
Speaker 2 (19:26):
All right, that's it quick. Thanks again at Bryce Dallas
Howard for zooming in on Mario dot com to find
out more about her new doc Pets, and to listen
to my full chat with her. More fun Tomorrow, Actress
Sam Jeger from The Handmaid's Tale is going to join
us with a scoop on the sixth and final season
of the Hulu series. Till then, Mario Lopez, and good
night
Speaker 1 (19:47):
With Mario Lopez
