Speaker 2 (00:29):
What out Mario Courtney Lopez. You're going to keep the
music in fun coming your way as we quickly tell
you about some of the new stuff hitting TV and streaming.
Speaker 3 (00:35):
AMC Plus and Sundance have the premiere of the new
docuseriies The Killer Clown Murder on the Doorstep Ooh, which
explores a true story of Marlene Warren's murder in Florida,
where a clown dressed killer shot her on her doorstep
in nineteen ninety. I'm putting that on the sink so
we could watch it.
Speaker 2 (00:54):
I remember this actually because I was in high school
and it sounded like a movie. Didn't sound It didn't
sound real, dress, sound like a clown and killing you
at your when you answer the door.
Speaker 4 (01:04):
It's wild.
Speaker 3 (01:05):
HBO Max has a series premiere of Ces Barto Not
Really on Purpose. This biographical series follows the rise in
fame of beloved Mexican comic and cultural icon Roberto Gomez Bolanos,
also known as Ches.
Speaker 4 (01:21):
Barrito, we En movi En Okay.
Speaker 3 (01:23):
And now that stressed me out? And Netflix begins streaming
the third season of Ginny and Georgia. A free spirited
Georgia and her two kids, Ginny and Austin, move north
in search of a fresh start, but find that the
road to new beginnings can be bumpy.
Speaker 4 (01:40):
All right, Well, Scott Porter is in the show. He's
gonna be joining us next week to talk season three.
By the way.
Speaker 3 (01:45):
That's right, all right, Let's get back to the music.
Speaker 5 (01:48):
You're all, Mario Cordo Lopez a little more music.
Speaker 2 (01:51):
Than gonna make a quick stop into Quardo's Corner to
see what my wife has for us.
Speaker 3 (01:54):
Can you give us a little hint, Tonney, Well, the
secret ingredient and science says you can add to your
food to help you lose weight. And I'm not talking
about Ozempeic word science.
Speaker 2 (02:08):
That was always cool reference right there, and a song
all right in the meantime, we'd.
Speaker 5 (02:11):
Love to play a real song for you. So if
you got a suggestion, what's a real song too? Yeah?
Speaker 2 (02:15):
Well it was real, not the way I did it,
dropping in our mentions and over on Facebook or x
at al.
Speaker 4 (02:20):
Mario, your feet are freezing. I know, That's why I
wanted the blank.
Speaker 5 (02:24):
You're all Mario, Courtney Lopez.
Speaker 2 (02:25):
More music headed your way right after a quick stop
into Cordo's corner.
Speaker 4 (02:29):
What are we learning today, honey?
Speaker 3 (02:31):
We are learning the one thing that you should be
adding to your food if you want to lose weight.
And it turns out that adding a little heat to
your meals could help you drop the pounds.
Speaker 5 (02:41):
You know why.
Speaker 2 (02:42):
And not to be gross because I had a lot
of poopoo to it. It fires up the stomach and
it makes it helps with the poopoo. It helps with
the poopoo.
Speaker 5 (02:50):
People.
Speaker 6 (02:51):
Let's see what science says.
Speaker 5 (02:52):
That's what science says.
Speaker 3 (02:53):
Researchers have found that people who ate spicier versions of
dishes ate slower and ended up eating less without feeling
any less satisfied. It's not about burning your taste buds off,
just enough spice to get you to pause between bites.
Speaker 6 (03:10):
It's also what Mario said exactly.
Speaker 3 (03:12):
As a bonus, chili peppers might also boost your heart
health and circulation and.
Speaker 1 (03:19):
More. Mario Lopez coming up.
Speaker 2 (03:22):
You're Mario and Cordo Lopez. It's time for Cordo to
make it weird though. What is Cordo's random thought today?
Speaker 3 (03:28):
I don't even know what these segments are anymore, or
what they're called.
Speaker 6 (03:32):
I heard what my name is? I heard Cordo.
Speaker 4 (03:36):
Listen.
Speaker 3 (03:36):
If you're not a dog person, what does that say
about you? Because even the Grinch had a dog. Yeah,
you know people that really lean into cats. I told
you I have respect cats.
Speaker 4 (03:48):
I get it.
Speaker 2 (03:49):
But you're not really wanting to have a tight bond
with your pet because cats don't like to kick it.
Speaker 6 (03:56):
Super independent.
Speaker 2 (03:57):
Yeah, they're super independent. They're not cuddlers. So you just
kind of want something there, but you don't really want
to be close with it either.
Speaker 4 (04:05):
Does that make sense?
Speaker 6 (04:06):
Yeah? Dogs are needy, yes, yes, like I in a
good way.
Speaker 4 (04:10):
Yes. The cats, you know, if you weren't around, they
would find a way to survive.
Speaker 5 (04:16):
Music and fun.
Speaker 2 (04:17):
Rolls on Mario Courtney Lopez. Here got some June fifth
birthdays to celebrate. Later this hour, we're also going to
dig into the bus to see what's trending in a
bit as well.
Speaker 5 (04:25):
In the meantime, more music.
Speaker 3 (04:27):
In fact, we're just a few songs away from a
very special guest joining us in studio, our daughter, our
daughter Jia, and we just crossed a milestone at Costa
Lopez will tell you all about that.
Speaker 2 (04:39):
Next to you all, Mario Lopez with a very special
guest in studio, my daughter Gia, Francesca Lopez and her
friend Olivia.
Speaker 4 (04:51):
How you doing, girls, We're good, very good.
Speaker 5 (04:54):
Not Jia.
Speaker 2 (04:55):
Now, I just want to let our listeners know that
I allowed you to have your very first house party
the other day. It was a graduation house party. You
had like forty something kids there. It was very organized
and the kids were very polite, yes, very respectful. I
really enjoyed that. But what was the feedback? What did
(05:16):
you think? How did you like it?
Speaker 1 (05:17):
Well?
Speaker 7 (05:18):
We okay, so we got the idea after because okay,
when you're in eighth grade and you aren't like private schools,
you have socials right to talk to kids from other
private schools and we only got two socials this year,
so we were like, that's kind of lame, let's do
another one.
Speaker 4 (05:31):
So me and Olivia, what happens at these socials?
Speaker 8 (05:34):
You just talk to people, You just meet new people
and socialized. Yes, you just socialized.
Speaker 7 (05:37):
Literally they put you in a room and they play
music and then you're with a bunch of people.
Speaker 8 (05:40):
That's it.
Speaker 4 (05:40):
Oh really and social.
Speaker 8 (05:41):
Yeah.
Speaker 7 (05:42):
So we we got the idea and we wanted to
have it the following weekend, but you.
Speaker 8 (05:46):
And Walm were out of town. So it was very
exciting leading up to the date.
Speaker 7 (05:50):
Because we did it was we'd wait three weeks for
it and everything like getting ready for it, setting it up,
just planning. It was super fun and then the actual
party was fun and then everything else after fun because
everyone was texting me like, oh my gosh, that was
so fun and they're waiting for the next one.
Speaker 4 (06:04):
So oh so you got good feedback. Everybody liked it.
We got very good feedback. Now, what do you mean
the next one?
Speaker 8 (06:08):
The next one that's in two weeks on the sixty
thirty eighteenth.
Speaker 4 (06:11):
No no, no, no, no, no, this is not a thing.
Speaker 2 (06:13):
This is not a thing that was a special occasion
because you graduated. You're gonna have a King Signetta coming up?
Speaker 4 (06:18):
Yes, and then no, no, no, no, no, no, no no,
there's not a next one. That's not a.
Speaker 8 (06:22):
Summer summer celebration.
Speaker 5 (06:24):
You know what you can do.
Speaker 4 (06:25):
And I'll tell you what you can do. Well, No,
you're gonna have your kenignant.
Speaker 2 (06:28):
I was gonna say, maybe you have one before everybody
goes back to school, but we're gonna do the King Signana,
So you're gonna have to wait till next year.
Speaker 8 (06:35):
Kid, what are you talking about? No, it's summer, dad.
Speaker 4 (06:38):
No, you're okay. We'll discuss this.
Speaker 8 (06:40):
Back the next team. Everybody vote, should it be Blue
out or Camo Waiting.
Speaker 4 (06:45):
Blue or camh Are you doing themes?
Speaker 8 (06:47):

Speaker 4 (06:48):

discuss later.
Speaker 1 (06:54):
Mario Lopez will be right back.
Speaker 5 (06:56):
Oh Mario Courtney Lopez.
Speaker 2 (06:57):
More music coming atchees and make a quick digital pit
stuff on Mario dot com.
Speaker 4 (07:01):

we're going to get in today. Celeb birthdays. First, going
to quickly recognize today's obscure holiday.
Speaker 4 (07:57):
What are we celebrating today?
Speaker 10 (07:58):
Huh?
Speaker 3 (07:58):
It is National Moonshine Day. Now this is a drink.
Speaker 4 (08:03):
It's a drink, an alcoholic booze from the Prohibition.
Speaker 6 (08:07):
Yeah, my great grandfather actually made and sold it during
prohibition and then tragically later was poisoned by a bad
batch and died.
Speaker 3 (08:14):
Ooh are you serious. We don't need that kind of negativity.
Speaker 6 (08:18):
Well, I didn't do it.
Speaker 2 (08:19):
They still make moonshine and I had some in the
South not too long ago, and it's very, very strong,
and they fermented in neither peaches. Sometimes they can do
different types of melon and it's wild because you can't
have too much white lightning.
Speaker 5 (08:36):
It'll really put you out.
Speaker 2 (08:40):

wife who's itching to ask a random question?
Speaker 1 (12:10):
What you got?
Speaker 8 (12:11):
I need some benadryl.
Speaker 3 (12:13):
If you could ask our dogs one question each and
get an answer, what would you ask them that.
Speaker 6 (12:18):
Might be one of the answers you get.
Speaker 2 (12:20):
I would ask Salvador, h can you see out of
your right eye? Because it seems like you can't? And
I would ask Oscar are you happy in this situation?
Because you look mad grumpy all the time.
Speaker 4 (12:33):
It's just his face, My babies.
Speaker 1 (12:37):
More Mario Lopez coming up?
Speaker 2 (12:40):
You're Mario Courtney Lopez. Almost time to pass the mic,
but not before we get to one last thing.
Speaker 5 (12:44):
Honey.
Speaker 4 (12:45):
You know what I was thinking we should do this weekend.
Hit up the movies and go see.
Speaker 2 (12:49):
Ballerina because this flick looks awesome. It's from the greatest
action franchise of the past decade. It reloads everything you
love about the world of John Wick, the mythology, the
unreal fight sequences, just wild stunts and it's all back
and even John Wick himself Keanu, who is joined by
actress Anna's armis from the James Bond film No Time
(13:10):
to Die.
Speaker 3 (13:11):
Well, you know what the timing is of this film
is really cool too. It's taking place at the same
time as John Wick Chapter three, but we take a
different path and follow Anna's character Eve on her quest
for vengeance after she crosses paths with John Wick in
the third installment, which is really cool and honestly, I
don't know that I've ever seen a change in perspective
done like this exactly before.
Speaker 2 (13:33):
And because both Eve and John were trained by the
same criminal organization, the Rusc a Roma, which is a
school for assassins that blends dance in combat training, you know,
the action is next level. It sounds like there could
be a Broadway musical of this that's next seriously, because
if you blend dance in combat training, that could be cool.
The world just keeps expanding, So if you're looking for
some fun action this weekend, Ballerina is going to set
(13:55):
the John Wick franchise on fire. It starts tomorrow, June sixth,
only in theaters That's.
Speaker 3 (14:00):
What I've been saying all along to our boys when
they're in wrestling in jiu jitsu, point.
Speaker 4 (14:04):
Your fate there you go, all right, one last break
and when we come back and.
Speaker 1 (14:07):
Wrap it up, no move for Mario Lopez. Next.
Speaker 5 (14:10):
That's it.
Speaker 2 (14:11):
Thanks so much for hanging out Almoro dot com. Relive
any in all of our radio fun more fun tomorrow.
Speaker 3 (14:17):
Must see movies, latest buzz of fake debate in our
comment of the week. Until then, it's Mario and Court
Joe Lopez saying good night
Speaker 1 (14:26):
With Mario Lopez
