Speaker 1 (00:00):
You're on with Mario Lopez.
Speaker 2 (00:03):
Halfway through the week. What a Mario Lopez here? Back
to hang with you for the next few hours. A
lot of radio fun to get into. The hilarious rebel
Wilson's going to be zooming in later with the scoop
on her new movie Bridehard and some more, plus a
special edition at Courtney's Court laid a buzz, and just
a few songs away from honoring a good deed, So
turn it up. You're on with Mario Lopez. Time to
(00:24):
recognize someone who's done some good in the world. What
a Mario Lopez? All right, Fraser, who's getting our good
deed Lopez? This week?
Speaker 3 (00:30):
This one is going to a dog in Virginia named Sienna.
Sienna was calmly greeting visitors, tail wagging, soaking up all
the attention at a dog shelter adoption event, and then
randomly walked away from the crowd and directly to a
man she had never met. She put her paw on
his foot and then started pawing at his leg. The
man's wife noticed and wondered what was wrong. The man
had a history of seizures, and thanks to Siena's incredible intuition.
(00:53):
His wife was able to take the dog's warning and
get him help and prevent the seizure from actually happening.
Speaker 2 (00:59):
Wow, that is credible. They say dogs have a sixth sense,
and whether it's an earthquake that can sense it's coming,
or someone that's in trouble, it's my dogs are awesome.
I've been posting some news articles lately about these dogs
that are now getting smarter, and they're.
Speaker 3 (01:16):
Saying there it's a new stage of evolution or some.
Speaker 2 (01:19):
Stage of evolution. I'm waiting for them to start talking
and paying rent. That's what I said.
Speaker 3 (01:23):
More Mario Lopez on The Way You're All Mario Lopez.
Speaker 2 (01:27):
Music rolls on as Razer quickly tells us about some
new stuff that's in TV and streaming Today.
Speaker 3 (01:31):
Vice has the series premiere of Sports Gone Wrong, showing
us that the world of sports isn't just about glory
and goals. It's also a wild and crazy ride filled
with follo ups and failure. Oh bloopers my favorite basically, yes, bloopers.
Amazon has the series premiere If We Are Liars, based
on a young adult novel. The series centers on Candae
Sinclair Eastman, who after a my serious accident that leaves
(01:52):
her with amnesia, returns to the island to uncover the
truth about her past.
Speaker 2 (01:57):
Amnesia is one of those things that you don't know anyone,
or at least I've never met anyone who actually has it.
But it's a constant presence on television shows.
Speaker 3 (02:07):
Like in soap operas and like when I was a kid,
my mom would watch Days of Our Lives and all
the General Hospital. Everyone always had amnesia.
Speaker 2 (02:14):
Everyone has amesia in TV or movies. But I never
actually met anyone with amnesia. It would be if you're
gonna get anything, that's kind of a cool thing to get.
I think, right, well, it depends.
Speaker 3 (02:23):
If you're forgetting horrible things, then yes, but if you're
forgetting like fond memories, that.
Speaker 2 (02:27):
Would be terrible.
Speaker 1 (02:28):
Wait.
Speaker 2 (02:28):
I Love You.
Speaker 3 (02:31):
And Apple TV Plus has the series premiere of The Buccaneers,
based on Edith Wharton's unfinished novel. The series follows a
group of fun loving American girls who ventured to London
in the eighteen seventies, where the hygiene probably was not
great to find husbands, sparking an Anglo American cultural clash.
Speaker 2 (02:48):
Wow, I gotta imagine eighteen seventies. How many showers were
taken back then? Al Mario Lopez music rolls on after
some quick buzz being honored tonight for Francis Ford Coppola
My Lifetime Achievement Award A tribute to Francis Ford Coppola,
airing tonight on T and T. Of course, infamous for
the Godfather saga. Ironically, he financed his most recent film
(03:12):
and it wasn't Magnalopolis. Less was not met with much fanfare,
and I believe was a disaster at the box office.
But he's gonna be all right almar dot com and
find out more all time to serve up some fresh
justice in Coordney's core. Mario Lopez here. However, Judge Cordo
is out today. I will fill in as Judge Mario
(03:34):
so Fraser, who is today's case front Judge Morto.
Speaker 3 (03:38):
This is from at Ronda pepri quick background. My husband
and I have always made major efforts to do our
part in recycle as much as we can. However, we
now have three kids under the age of seven, and
sometimes I can or something will end up in the
trash instead of the recycling. That said, we have a
neighbor who is a bit of a Karen about recycling.
We've always been friendly and gotten along, but recently I
(03:59):
called her aggressive going through our garbage cans the night
before garbage day, moving things to the recycling bin. My
husband said, let it go, but it feels like she
needs to be told this isn't okay.
Speaker 2 (04:10):
Well, Ronda, technically it's not okay, but honestly, you need
to let this one go. I'm gonna tell you why
she's doing you a favorite. Number one, she's separating the
recyclable garbage from the regular garbage. So if that makes
her happy, then so be it. And she's doing you
a favorite. Chooser battles when it comes to your neighbors,
because you may have a party soon, and she could
(04:31):
be the first one to call the cops if it
gets a little too loud.
Speaker 1 (04:34):
More Mario Lopez coming up.
Speaker 2 (04:37):
So this is kind of interesting, Mario Lopez. Here's something
that could potentially help prevent you from seeing spoilers for
your favorite TV shows and movies. Threads Stepping Up is
the first platform to give you a bit of real
control over what gets spoiled by allowing users to market
as a spoiler, leaving the post blurred until someone chooses
to see it. That's funny.
Speaker 3 (04:57):
If I the fact that this blurred makes me want
to see it though, that's true, that's true.
Speaker 2 (05:01):
But if I don't want to know the results of
a game or a fight, I just simply don't go
on social media because more than likely this, if you follow,
is gonna spoil it for you right there. So yeah,
you just gotta be more disciplined not to open that phone.
All right, let's get back to the music. Ah, Mario Lopez,
a few more songs. I'm gonna get Rebel Wilson on
zoom with us. New movie Bridehard looks really funny. You
(05:23):
gonna get the scoop on that and see what you
can tell us about those pitch perfect form rumors. Back
with Rebel and ten Don't Move's era. Mario Lopez joining
me right now, actress in comic Rebel Wilson. How you doing, Rebel.
Speaker 4 (05:35):
Him Aria, I'm really good. How are you?
Speaker 1 (05:37):
I'm well.
Speaker 2 (05:38):
It's always great to see you. Congrats. You got a
new movie out this Friday called Bride Hard. People are
saying it's bride's Maid meets die Hard, which is an
awesome log line and You're like a full on action
star on this one.
Speaker 4 (05:49):
Huh, this one. I mean, it's just a fun movie.
Speaker 5 (05:52):
If you won't go to the cinema and I have
popcorn and just like have a fun time.
Speaker 2 (05:57):
This is it.
Speaker 5 (05:58):
It's not pretending to be anything else. And yeah, I
really like doing the action stuff. The director Simon West.
He's done really cool action movies like con Air and
tomb Raider.
Speaker 2 (06:09):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (06:10):
Wow, So I really liked.
Speaker 4 (06:11):
Like getting to kick and punch and do all the action.
Speaker 2 (06:16):
It's fun. Nice.
Speaker 4 (06:18):
Yeah, it's really fun.
Speaker 2 (06:19):
And it's cool. You team back up with your Pitch
Perfect costar Anna in this movie as well. That wouldn't
been fun getting back on set together.
Speaker 5 (06:25):
I know Anna Camp, who I've known now for fourteen years,
like all the bellas, you know, we've just been friends
for such a long time, and I just like, I
love partnering with her. She plays the bride in the
movie and I played her maid of honor, and so
that wasn't difficult to play best friends because we've been
friends for so so long now, god, it's so long
(06:46):
since the original Pitch Perfect movie.
Speaker 4 (06:48):
But yeah, it was great to reunite with her.
Speaker 2 (06:50):
Yeah, that's always something you get to work with your
friends again. All right, lots more to talk about, quick break,
and we're going to come back with some more rebel.
Speaker 1 (06:56):
More fun on the way on with Mario a little.
Speaker 2 (06:58):
Pet getting back to Rebel. Wilson is on Zoom with
us this hour and the movie is Bride Hard.
Speaker 5 (07:03):
Now.
Speaker 2 (07:03):
I know you play a spy in this movie, and
I don't know if it's true, but tell me, did
you almost join Australian's version of the CIA in real life?
Speaker 4 (07:11):
Yeah?
Speaker 5 (07:12):
That's I love how that story is now coming up.
They're probably going to be like, what the hell? Why
is she talking about this now? But basically, I did
do very very well at school academically, and I got recruited,
I got off at.
Speaker 4 (07:24):
A scholarship.
Speaker 5 (07:27):
And I was going to have to those sign a
seven year contract if I accepted the scholarship. So I
decided not to go down that route. But at the time, like,
I mean, who wouldn't want to be a spy?
Speaker 6 (07:38):
Like, I think it's awesome, so fun and so interesting
and you're helping your country, and you know, I would
still be open to it. Sometimes, din't hate their conspiracy
theories that some actors are actually spies.
Speaker 2 (07:52):
So well, being a spy is all about being an actor,
so it makes sense essentially, right undercover, I mean I
think you will.
Speaker 5 (08:00):
What I could go undercover now that people do recognize it.
Speaker 2 (08:03):
It's hard when you're famous, that is true. All right,
More with Rebel Wilson coming up first, more music. Catching
up with Rebel Wilson this hour, Mario Lopez here, a
new movie is Bride Hard. But you also got a
Christmas movie on the way with Keith for Sutherland called
Tinsel Talent. What can you tell me about that one? Yeah?
Speaker 4 (08:21):
So that one I just shot earlier in the year.
Speaker 5 (08:25):
And it's set in England and it's my first Christmas
movie I ever did.
Speaker 4 (08:29):
So to a scene where you're coming out with snow
and it's all Christmasy. Fine, I was, Oh, it was
so cute because being from Australia, we.
Speaker 2 (08:37):
Have hot Christmas. That's right, that's right on the Christmases.
Speaker 5 (08:41):
So it's like it was really nice to do like
a classic classic British Christmas movie.
Speaker 4 (08:47):
Yeah, it was cool. So so that'll be out for Christmas.
Speaker 2 (08:49):
Oh nice? Nice this year. Looking forward to checking that out.
All right, Rebel. One more thing I want to ask
I'm back to wrap it up with Rebel Wilson after
the more music. Wrapping up with Rebel Wilson, who is
on Zoom you're all, Mario Lopez before you go, I
know you recently said that Pitch Porfecit four scripts are
in development. Would you be back of that installment ENSU happening?
Speaker 4 (09:09):
Oh, definitely, definitely.
Speaker 5 (09:11):
I mean, all of us girls, we love the movie
so much and we love working together.
Speaker 4 (09:16):
It's kind of like not really a job.
Speaker 5 (09:17):
It's just fun for us, and I'm so proud of
all everyone's. Everyone's gone on to have these amazing careers
and half of us is directing movies now and it's
it's just really awesome to see. But we all really
want to come back. So hopefully next year it will
go into production.
Speaker 2 (09:37):
Yeah, I like those movies. I hope they hope that
comes to fruition. Well, congratulations on everything. Always nice to
see you and everyone. Please be sure to check out
Rebel in her new movie Brideheart, which is out this Friday.
Thanks for stopping by, Thanks Mario, thank you, take care
of you all season.

Speaker 3 (10:51):
It is National Splurge Day.
Speaker 2 (10:53):
Hey, that's a good day. Once in a while, you
do need to go out there and splurge yourself in
on a Wednesday, middle of the week. Not a bad
idea for Today's birthday. Shout out Tomrio Lopez here as always,
Fraser's gonna tellus which the lebs are born today. I'm
gonna try to guess the agents.
Speaker 3 (11:08):
Scooter Braun pop star manager, music villain.
Speaker 2 (11:12):
Yeah, he has represented and then not represented some of
the biggest artists like Justin Bieber a Grande had a
battle with Taylor Swift but then gave up the rights. Yep,
a young guy too. I'm gonna say he's forty three
forty four.
Speaker 1 (11:27):
Oh.
Speaker 3 (11:28):
Blake Shelton from the Voice, he's a country artist, should
be selling dog food.
Speaker 2 (11:33):
Yes, yes, very tall.
Speaker 3 (11:36):
Once was people's sexiest man alive.
Speaker 2 (11:38):
That yes, Okay, Blake Shelton coming in at forty nine
forty nine is correct? Hey, look at that.
Speaker 3 (11:46):
Nathan Morris from Boys to Men.
Speaker 2 (11:48):
Nathan's got to be fifty three fifty four. Hey, I'm
really close for today.
Speaker 3 (11:52):
It's a Bello Rossellini fifty seventy three.
Speaker 2 (11:56):
She looks incredible.
Speaker 3 (11:57):
And the only Beatle that I have ever met. Paul McCartney, Sir.
Speaker 2 (12:01):
Paul McCartney, Sir Paul McCartney, he is a knight, living legend.
M he's got to be seventy six eighty three. Wow,
it's amazing.
Speaker 1 (12:11):
More Mario Lopez coming up.
Speaker 2 (12:14):
You're all Mario Lopez digging into the buzz because the
Beebes has broken his silence on being broken on.
Speaker 1 (12:20):
With Mario Hollywood Buzz.
Speaker 2 (12:22):
So Justin Bieber broke his silence on ig. He shared
a pretty vulnerable message, opening up about his struggles with
anger and feeling broken. He admitted he does have anger
issues and has tried to fix himself his whole life,
going on to express frustration over being told to heal.
But despite his ongoing challenges, Bieber says his faith in
Jesus helps him stay grounded. He showed a bit of
(12:44):
positivity in a separate post, sharing a few intimate family
moments online, celebrating his first Father's Day with his wife
Hayley and their son Jack blues Well. I think that
him being vocal about his faith and that is what
helps him stay grounded, is a great way to deal
with whatever he is dealing with, and I think he
(13:04):
can only go up from there. I know he likes
to box too, get those aggressions out. My buddy trains them, actually,
and he's a really nice guy. Every time I've met
Biebert he's a gentleman.
Speaker 1 (13:17):
More Mario Lopez coming up.
Speaker 2 (13:20):

Speaker 3 (14:02):
This is from att Back it up, Terry, Mario. Yesterday
you were talking about alligators and crocodiles. How do you
know that crocs are meaner than gators? What's the test
used for that?
Speaker 2 (14:11):
Back it up, Terry, you better back it up because
I'm not just kicking knowledge pulling it out of thin air.
Speaker 3 (14:17):
I was you said they're larger and meaner. Yes, he
didn't question the larger part.
Speaker 2 (14:22):
I believe. I actually asked the crocodile hunter himself when
he was back in the day, because I was asking
him what is the difference, generally speaking, between crocodiles and alligators.
I think he hit me with, well, crocodiles you'll see
after a while, alligators you'll see just a little later.
And then I said, okay, seriously though.
Speaker 3 (14:40):
He was like cheesy like that with jokes, and I
met him, wants to do nicest guy in the world.
Speaker 2 (14:44):
Love that guy, and he and great family. His kids
are great tools. He actually said that crocodiles are all
are derivative from like a dinosaur. They are naturally more
aggressive and bigger. So I think he's a pretty So.
Speaker 3 (14:57):
It came from an expert.
Speaker 2 (14:58):
It came from literally an expert.
Speaker 1 (15:00):
Mario Lopez will be right back.
Speaker 2 (15:02):
Music rolls on after quick digital pit stop at Alemario
dot com, so Fraser can tell us what's trend daing
Mario Lopez here.
Speaker 3 (15:08):
Watch Jimmy Levado hilariously recreate a viral Kim Kardashian meltdown.
Speaker 2 (15:12):
Oh damn, he's got jokes.
Speaker 1 (15:14):
Okay.
Speaker 3 (15:14):
Check out to brain a Carpenter's six word response to
her album cover backlash.
Speaker 2 (15:18):
Oh there's backlash.
Speaker 3 (15:19):
Okay, so you can find out why there's backlash as well.
And Mariah Carey reveals the real reason she refuses to
celebrate her birthday.
Speaker 2 (15:26):
I love it, she just refuses to age. I love
Maria ollmar dot com for all that and more. Al
Mario Lopez Almost time to pass some Mike, but not
before we squeeze in one last thing, and it's got
to do with urban legends first though, some more music,
all right, Time for one last thing? What a Mario
Lopez here? Way back before Internet rumors, In fact, before
the Internet itself, we had urban legends, remember those? But
(15:50):
not everything we were told growing up turned out to
be true. So board Panda dropped the list of some
of the dumber urban legends that didn't exactly pan out,
Like what Fraser.
Speaker 3 (15:59):
It's illegal to rip tags off of pillows and mattresses.
That's only true for the manufacturers.
Speaker 2 (16:04):
Yeah, I always wondered why that was the case.
Speaker 3 (16:06):
That was that was I thought that was like one
of the dumbest things that people used to say all
the time. It's like, who's gonna even know, Like do
they come check?
Speaker 2 (16:12):
Yeah, and you don't rip it off, you cut it.
Speaker 3 (16:14):
With the scissors exactly. You can target tummy fat and
just exercise that no fat does not know where it lives.
You have to actually do more than just you know,
target your tummy fat.
Speaker 2 (16:24):
For example, I gain weight my face.
Speaker 3 (16:27):
Okay, so you have to target your face fat, face
and belly. You only use ten percent of your brain.
We actually use all parts of our brain, not just
ten percent.
Speaker 2 (16:36):
Oh okay.
Speaker 3 (16:37):
And if you go out without a coat and hat,
you might catch a cold. I mean there's a chance.
Speaker 2 (16:42):
Yeah, there's there's always a chance. But yeah, that's that's
that's I feel like that's something a Mexican mom would.
Speaker 1 (16:47):
I more Mario Lopez coming up.
Speaker 2 (16:51):
That's it quick. Thanks again and Rebel Wilson for zooming
in holm right dot com for my full chat with her.
More fun tomorrow. Dermot mulroney will be joining us till then.
