Well, the one and only Taylor Swift and her fans.
So Taylor made a recent surprise visit to Joe DiMaggio's
children's hospital, spending time with some of the young patients.
But the good deed did not end there. Swifties found
out that several of the children she met had go
fund Me pages to help with the enormous cost of

(00:52):
extended hospital stays and surgeries awful, so they took action,
raising over fifteen thousand to support one of the children,
a seven year old named Majesty Williams, who was born
with a serious heart condition. The fans also gave generously
to a two year old named Aliyah who is undergoing chemotherapy,
and a ten year old Zoe, who has been courageously

(01:15):
battling neuroblastoma.

Speaker 1 (01:17):

woman from Sweden s Veeden.

Speaker 4 (02:57):
And said, you're a fish with a mustache.

Speaker 1 (02:58):

over the weekend when I was on the boat. Here's
the thing about catfish. I don't think people understand.

Speaker 4 (03:07):
How big they get.

Speaker 1 (03:08):
They can get as big as like a Volkswagen bus.
It's insane they're huge. They look like little baby whales.

Speaker 2 (03:13):
It's not a sedan but a bus.

Speaker 1 (03:56):
Oh no, no, no, she is a fullipping her way
into four forty eight.

Speaker 4 (04:00):
Why is she flipping? I know she is forty eight?

Speaker 1 (04:03):
Hey see, I got that.

Speaker 4 (04:05):
Ricky Gervais he did the British version of the Office,
amazing show on Netflix called Afterlife.

Speaker 2 (04:11):
Your Friend's Doppelganger. Although Ricky is he's the Mexican version,
the Mexican version. It isn't your friend Mexican two.

Speaker 1 (04:18):
I said he's the Mexican Yeah, okay, Ricky's Funnier. Ricky
is fifty four, fifty six, sixty four, sixty four, Yes,
Supreme Court Justice Sonya Soto Mayor Sonya is coming in
at sixty eight.

Speaker 2 (04:35):
I let you go first because I don't know whosund
she is. What did you say fifty eight?

Speaker 4 (04:43):
Yeah, sixty I think he said sixty eight, but she's
actually seventy one and from good Times. Jimmy JJ Walker.

Speaker 1 (04:51):

seventy seventy two, seventy eight, Wow, come four.

Speaker 3 (05:13):
Mario Lopez coming up.

Speaker 1 (05:15):
Happy way back Wednesday? What up your own morow Courtney Lopez.
We're gonna get to a music history lesson a little later,
but I want to mention this on this day. Twenty
three years ago, Nelly dropped his album Nellyville on Us
featuring Hot in Her and Dilemma with Kelly Rowland. Well,
fast forward to now Nelly and Ashanti dropping a new
reality show on us, Nelly and a Shanty We Belong Together,

(05:36):
which premierees on Peacock tomorrow.

Speaker 2 (05:38):
God, I love Nelly and a Shanty Together. I think
that's such a cute love story. It is romantic, very
very romantic. So make sure you join us tomorrow on
Nelly and a Shanty. We'll be on with us and
we'll get to scoop of the new show, both their
tours and more.

Speaker 1 (05:53):
You're a Mario Courtney Lopez about to serve up some
fresh justice in Cordo's Court. By the way, Judge Cordo
would love to say a dispute for you. So if
you find yourself in a tricky situation, want some advice,
slide into our DMS over on ig at Al Mario Lopez.
Back to see what today's case is all about in
courtos Court. Oh, Maria Courtney Lopez, time to serve us

(06:14):
from fresh justice. All rise and welcome to Judge Courtney Lopez.
It is time for Quarto's Court. Today's case comes from
at Crystal Fearson. They say, I have two best friends,
really my only two friends. Both are amazing in very
different ways, and I get along with both individually very well.
But they seem to have an irrational hatred for each other,
so we can never all hang out together. When I

(06:34):
ask why don't they like each other? I get nonsense answers.
I honestly feel like we're too old for this immature drama.
How can I tell them to grow up without losing
my friends.

Speaker 2 (06:44):
I've actually been in the situation and kind of still am.
I have very few friends, but they're my really good
friends because I don't need nonsense friends. But some of
them just can't mix with other people and they get
jealous and they're insecure.

Speaker 1 (07:01):
I think it is more of a right. They were
more of your attention.

Speaker 2 (07:04):
Yeah, and so now that I know that, we'll be
together on occasion, but I try and keep it separate
because I know what I know their hearts, and I
know that it's nothing against me or the other person.
It's just their own insecurities. So I mean, you know,
there's going to be times for your birthday where everyone
has to come together and they have to understand that

(07:25):
and get along for you. But other than that, I
would just if you can just deal with them separately.

Speaker 3 (07:31):
More Mario Lopez coming up, Amaro Courney Lopez digging into
the bus because actor Scott Wolf announcing a split on
with Mario Hollywood Buzz.

Speaker 1 (07:42):
So I was kind of shocked, to be honest, and
a little said here this news, Scott Wolf, what happened
to have known for a long time his wife Kelly,
You have announced their divorcing after twenty one years. The
couple got married back in two thousand and four. They've
got three children. Kelly announced the split on social media,
stating that it was a long and difficult journey. While
God is the one who reportedly filed for divorce and
requested privacy. Then the story got bizarre with reports that

(08:06):
Kelly claimed she was being held against her will. Then
there were allegations of abuse, both which she later retracted,
but a lot of bizarre social media stuff that just
came out of nowhere.

Speaker 2 (08:18):
Yeah, you know, it's sad when you're public and you
go through these divorces and breakups on a public forum,
because usually you want privacy, and then people assume things,
they make stuff up, and so it's hard.

Speaker 1 (08:33):
It is, and obviously people get divorced every day. It's
just the abuse and all these outlandish, well statements, foundations
didn't that didn't show any sort of history of that
prior with people were like, wait, what more Mario Lopez
on the way, what Tomorro Courtney Lopez here reminding you
to get your tickets for the iHeartRadio Music Festival. It's

(08:53):
going down September nineteenth and twentieth in Vegas, two nights,
one stage, Maroon five at Sharon Mariah Tate, McCrae, Tim mcgrab,
Bryan Adams and more.

Speaker 2 (09:02):
You can get your tickets now at axs dot com
before they sell out and find out everything you need
to know right now. Add on with Mario dot Com
Slash Festival.

Speaker 1 (09:24):
Mario Courtney Lopez Here more music coming your way. Right
after Cordo makes us laugh with a fresh mom joke.
What you got, honey?

Speaker 2 (09:30):
When does a joke become a mom joke? When when
it becomes a parent? Oh wow, that was my parents.

Speaker 1 (09:41):
That was pretty good.

Speaker 3 (09:42):
Parent.

Speaker 1 (09:43):
That was pretty good. I like it, mom style. When
it becomes a pairing Mario Courtney Lopez. Here was some
quick buzz for you. Brandy and Monica joining forces for
a massive tour twenty seven years. I can't believe this.
After they took the world with their hit duet The
Boy's Mine. Still the jam Ladies announcer plans for the
Boys Mind Tour during a joint interview on CBS on Tuesday.

(10:05):
They're gonna have special guests too, Kelly Rowland, Money Long,
Jamal Roberts. They're going to twenty four cities, beginning in
Cincinnati on October sixteenth, and it's going to wrap up
in Houston on December seventh.

Speaker 2 (10:15):
Ooh, that sounds like a really fun concert to go to.

Speaker 1 (10:20):
What I tell you about Brandy the other day. I've
always liked her, but I've got like a new appreciation
for her now.

Speaker 2 (10:24):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (10:25):
I think she's so talented and she's such a good
rapper too. She did a rap with Eve that was
really really good, but it made me miss like R
and B of that era. Yeah, she's got that really
cool voice and I was like, wow that that really
was like a really golden era for R and B.

Speaker 3 (10:39):
Moor Mario Lopez coming up?

Speaker 1 (10:41):
What a Mario Lopez here? Music rolls on after a
quick digital pit stop at Onmarria dot com, So Cordo
can tell us what's trending.

Speaker 2 (10:48):
Cordo is not telling you anything if you call her that,
just kidding.

Speaker 4 (10:52):
Borda was referring to herself on the third Personnel That's Bad.

Speaker 2 (10:54):
You can check out Joe Jonas and Sophie Turner reunite
for a nice little stroll after finalizing their divorce.

Speaker 1 (11:01):
Okay, it seems amicable. Nice.

Speaker 2 (11:03):
You can find out everything you also need to know
about Cardibe's sophomore album, including the title and release date.
Oo Anne Lindsay Loyan is giving a rare and candid
glimpse into her family life with her one year old son.

Speaker 1 (11:16):

Speaker 2 (11:50):
So this is from at Comic art Master one and
they said, Mario, tell me you're going to take up
Dana White on his offer to fight in the UFC.
I used to see you Geo's Jim and Burbank back
in the day, and you are a beast. Would love
to see you compete. No one can beat Baysides elite.

Speaker 1 (12:08):
Uh, Comic art Master one, thank you, my man. Yeah,
that's old school geals Jim back in the day. So
Dana White is doing something really cool. He's doing UFC BJJ,
which is Brasilient Jiu Jitsu, and it's sort of a
new league and it's got a little show component. And
he put out there in an interview recently that he'd
loved to have some celebs compete, and he named specifically

(12:30):
Mark Zuckerberg, Tom Hardy and myself.

Speaker 4 (12:33):
No, this whole thing about you fighting Tom Hardy has
been around for a while.

Speaker 1 (12:37):
Yeah, people really want to see that because we're around
the same size. And I love me some Tom Hardy.

Speaker 4 (12:41):
Yeah, it feels like you hate each other as a
compete for in the.

Speaker 1 (12:47):
UK, and we both train tickets serious and easy and
all I get tough guy and I love the guy.
I can't say enough things about him. I've been a
huge fan of him as an actor.

Speaker 4 (12:54):
Would you let him win?

Speaker 1 (12:55):
No? Absolutely not, you don't love him that much. We
just finished mob Line, but it would be uh, it
would be an honor to step on the mat with him.

Speaker 3 (13:05):
More Mario Lopez coming up?

Speaker 1 (13:07):
What a Mario Courtney Lopez. Here are so many awesome
people on with us recently you missed anyone? Hit up
Onmory dot Com catch Up. Rebel Wilson told us about
her new movie Bridhard and where another Pitch Perfect movie stands.

Speaker 2 (13:19):
Dermott mulroney talked about how shooting his show Chicago Fire
is in the Windy City, and Bachelor Nations. Hannah Brown
told us about her new role on Bachelor in Paradise.
On with Mario dot Com for all those and more.

Speaker 1 (13:33):
Mario Courtney Lopez, your music rolls on after Cordo makes
it Weirdoh with a random thought? What you got?

Speaker 2 (13:40):
I think you've done a good job of doing that. Sometimes,
just for fun, I'll comment you too, look nice on
a photo of three people, just to watch the questions unfold,
because you know why people do it to me? Whenever
there's a picture of me and you in a picture,
And not because I need to be validated, but when
people are like, oh, Mario, you look so handsome, I.

Speaker 4 (14:01):
Guess it's like you're not even in it.

Speaker 2 (14:03):
Like if my someone our friends post a picture of
you know them, sell a couple, I'm like, you guys
look great or you.

Speaker 4 (14:12):
Know, adorable couple.

Speaker 2 (14:14):
Exactly. I always compliment both of them together. It just
sucks when you single somebody.

Speaker 1 (14:19):
Out rude olmar Courtney Lopez. Remember mony Python's always look
on the bright side of life. Well, turns out they
were onto something. New study says people with a positive
outlook are less likely to suffer memory problems in middle age.

Speaker 2 (14:35):
They found those who said they had a happy, healthy
attitude towards life challenges were more likely to have better
scores on memory test, and those who doctors determined to
have healthy brains even reported a greater sense of control
and freedom to make the best choices. Now I kind
of disagree with this because I think I have a
very healthy outlook on life and I'm very positive, like

(14:57):
when one door closes another one. Oh and before I
met you, the career I was in, but I can't remember.

Speaker 4 (15:06):
I can't remember, and we're in middle age.

Speaker 2 (15:10):
And we're in middle age.

Speaker 1 (15:13):
You're middle age.

Speaker 4 (15:15):
We're technically middle age.

Speaker 1 (15:17):
You're one hundred percent of age.

Speaker 3 (15:18):
Calm down, Wow, Mario Lopez. We'll be right back.

Speaker 1 (15:24):
You're on Mario Cordo Lopez Cook. Reminder that if you
want to make sure you never miss any of our
fun here on the radio show, download the all new
and improved iHeart Radio app and listen to On with
Mario Radio show.

Speaker 4 (15:50):
Me corda.

Speaker 1 (15:53):
Al Mario Lopez. Almost time for me to head out.
Just one last thing to get to hang time for
that as we keep the music coming your way. Got
a song you want to here, please hit me up
on Facebook. Add on with Mario. Mr Courtney Lopez. Almost
time to pass the mic, but not before we get
to one last thing. You've probably seen the headlines making
the rounds. New study says people who shower before bed

(16:14):
live longer. Definitely Bowl claims. But here's the deal. It's
not technically false, but it's also not the full story.
Here's the truth. A twenty nineteen systematic review published in
Sleep Medicine analyze seventeen studies and concluded that a warm
shower bath taken an hour or two hours before bedtime
helps people fall asleep faster and improves overall sleep quality.

Speaker 2 (16:35):
And you're not stinky yelling at me when you lay down, Well,
I agree with you. I don't want to live longer,
So starting tonight, I'm not going to.

Speaker 4 (16:44):
Show any more. Wow.

Speaker 2 (16:47):
Okay, well this is where the bubble starts to burst.
There's no study directly linking evening showers to a longer lifespan. Instead,
what's happening is that better sleep has been associated with
better health outcomes overall. We've sort of squinted our eyes
and connected those dots, dotted the ies cross the t.

Speaker 1 (17:05):
Well, that makes perfect sense. If you're healthier and you're
sleeping better, you're going to live longer.

Speaker 2 (17:09):
So we were right, Well, I'm going to die tomorrow.
Play book up three times last.

Speaker 3 (17:14):
Night or Mario Lopez next all right, that's it.

Speaker 1 (17:17):
Thanks so much for hanging with us. As always almrio
dot com to relive all our radio fun. We'll be
back to do it again tomorrow.

Speaker 2 (17:23):
Nelly and Ashanji will be here with the scoop on
their new reality show. Until then, Mario and Courtney Lopez
saying good night
