Speaker 4 (01:48):
Little ways that you could do some good and make
a difference. So there's a new trend called the thirty
Days of Micro Kindness Challenge. It's a month long invitation
to do one simple, meaningful good d every single day.
Nothing really big or over the top. It's just a
micro which is tiny little baby kindness, like a kind word,

(02:08):
a surprise note, holding the elevator, or offering to help
a coworker with some task. It does you good too.
The Mayo Clinic says it can boost your mood, lower stress,
and even improve your health. You don't need a huge plan,
a big budget, or even a lot of free time
to make a difference. It's the little things that mean
a lot of people.

Speaker 2 (02:27):
I do this every day. I try to do this
every day. That's just how I try to roll. And
that's how people should try to roll. And maybe you
take baby steps before you make it a lifestyle. I
get it.

Speaker 4 (02:35):
Those will be called micro steps.

Speaker 2 (02:36):
That's right.

Speaker 4 (02:37):
Microstaps on with Mario dot com if you want to
find out more about the thirty Days of micro Kindness
challenge and let us know how you're taking part.

Speaker 1 (02:44):
More Mario Lopez on the way.

Speaker 3 (02:47):

Speaker 2 (02:49):

talking about our twenty twenty five iHeartRadio Music Festival presented
by Capital one September nineteenth and twentieth in Vegas, T
Mobile Arena, two nights, one stage, This might.

Speaker 4 (03:02):
Just be the best lineup we've ever had. Maroon five,
Edgeer and Brian Adams, Mariah Carey and so many more.
And the best part, while the world is listening on iHeartRadio,
you could be there seeing it all live in person.
iHeartRadio giving you three chances every weekday to win a
trip for two plus one thousand dollars, spending money on
with Mario dot Com slash Festival to find out more, give.

Speaker 2 (03:26):
You the music and fun coming your way. What up
Marion Courtney Lopez here getting ready to ask our random
question and just a bit. Also got a music history
lesson to drop on you as.

Speaker 4 (03:34):
Well, not like the Wicked Witch. But first, Pumpkin Spice
is back. Few more songs and we're gonna break down
some of the unexpected ways you can enjoy everyone's favorite
fall flavor.

Speaker 1 (03:46):
Don't move.

Speaker 2 (03:49):
A'm of Mario Lopez and if you're a Pumpkin Spice lover.
As of yesterday, it is back at Duncan, along with
the rest of their fall menu, so gonna start popping
up everywhere else, I imagine, not just lattes either. If
you'll love the taste of it, there's pumpkin spice, popcorn
chewing gum, hm, pumpkin spice, cheerios Nope, Oreos.

Speaker 3 (04:09):
Which I've tried. I didn't hate them, but it just
made me.

Speaker 5 (04:13):
Crave the original oreos. I think Oreo's one of those
things they gotta stop messing with.

Speaker 2 (04:16):
Yeah, you can't mess with those in pringles. Interesting pringles
haven't tried. That might be okay. If you want to
smell like it, you can find pumpkin spice deodorant. I
do like the smell. I don't know how the armpit
action would work there, shampoo and laundry detergent. The laundry
might be kind of cool, that's all right. There's even
pumpkin spice kitty litter and dog treats. That's funny, but
the best no pun intended. There's pumpkin spice toilet paper. Oh,

(04:40):
we got a winner that I will one percent try.

Speaker 1 (04:43):
Come on, Mario Lopez returns after this.

Speaker 2 (04:46):
You're a Mario Lopez. Cordeners does have a studio for
a minute, but left behind a random question for Fraser
to ask, what do you got?

Speaker 5 (04:52):
What is something that people would be surprised to find
out that you've never learned how to do well?

Speaker 2 (04:57):
I think you and everyone in the studio knows this.
I've never learn and I'm embarrassed to say this out loud.
I've never learned how to use a computer. Really, that
is true. I'm being I'm not trying to be funny.

Speaker 3 (05:08):
That's no, that's legitimately true.

Speaker 2 (05:09):
I was at the age of when it came out,
I was getting by just fine without really having to
do it. And then when obviously it became part of
our lifestyle essentially, then at that point, you know, I
had an assistant or a buddy helped me out COMUSA so.

Speaker 3 (05:24):
Or my wife.

Speaker 2 (05:25):
So that's why I've never out I've never ordered anything. Yeah,
I honestly don't even know how to try one on.

Speaker 3 (05:30):
That's just now on the window.

Speaker 2 (05:31):
Like so when the kids leave something on in the computer,
I just know to go to the corner and hit
that little red doctor to shut it turn it off.

Speaker 3 (05:37):
I just go to the corner and shut it off.
That's it, like close those little windows. That's it.

Speaker 5 (05:41):
I will say, I was shocked. This had to be
like eleven years ago. We were eleven twelve years ago.
We were in the studio and you wanted to see
something on the laptop and you were looking at a
web page and you got to the bottom of like
the article, and you literally didn't know how to move it.

Speaker 2 (05:57):
I'm probably the last but generation that can get away
with that, because other than that younger than me that
I think it was mandaged, right, But I.

Speaker 5 (06:05):
Think you're also at the point now. We're all at
the point now where it's like computers in a weird
way are going to be replaced by tablets and phones.
And you're good with your phone?

Speaker 2 (06:13):
Yeah?

Speaker 3 (06:13):
Is that bad?

Speaker 2 (06:13):
I think I've gone this long in life.

Speaker 3 (06:15):
I'll be all right.

Speaker 2 (06:15):
I think right fine, I think all right, all.

Speaker 1 (06:17):
Right, more Mario Lopez coming up.

And you know what Italian food in general, obviously amazing,
Mexican Italian my two favorites. They kind of like, they
kind of all off when it comes to desserts. The
desserts aren't up to par as the rest of the

(14:06):
Italian meals that are offered out there.

Speaker 5 (14:08):
What is it about this that you don't like because
it's pistachio's, which you like, cherry and chocolate, right, cherries.

Speaker 4 (15:58):
Watch Madonna celebrate her sixty seventh birthday with the giant
lt Boo boo cake.

Speaker 2 (16:03):
That just is wild to me because I vividly remember
in the eighties being such a McDonough fan and I
got like a picture from her and you know, like
a fan mail kind of yeah. And she must have
been in an early twenties now and she's about to
celebrate sixty seven. That's wild.

Speaker 5 (16:16):
She's she's going to be seventy in three years.

Speaker 3 (16:19):

No, I was just like getting into it and I
was just starting to come to la. Did you write
a letter four on ten or eleven? Yeah? I think

He still does. It creeps me out. They come to
the house, that's cry the way, don't send it to
the house. I'm gonna throw it away. And Sophie Turner

unpleasant putting them.

before we get out of here for the night. Hank
TI for that, but first, more music all Mario Lopez
quickly getting a one last thing proud dad moment for me.
Last weekend, my son competed in the Beach Wrestling World Series,

(17:17):
where kids from all over the country come and wrestle
literally on the beach. It's set up in like these
sumo like circles and it's almost kind of Sumo slash
Greco Roman rules where you have to push them out
of the circle and take them down without using both
of your knees to touch the sand. We were a

(17:37):
little confused with the rules and figured it just be
a fun thing to do. But Miko did really, really
well and he ended up taking second place, and I
think he would have won the whole thing had he
been a little bit more familiar with the rules and
got to prepare for it. So he was disappointed himself.
I was proud of him for his first time being
out there, and next year we're gonna have both boys
go out there and make a whole day out of it.

(17:58):
It's a lot of fun.

Speaker 3 (18:00):
Bust his lip or something.

Speaker 2 (18:01):
Yeah, he busted his lip. You know, wrestling is tough sport,
but he shook it off and he ended up doing great,
