Hulu has a limited series premiere of Blood and Myth,
a true crime documentary that investigates a series of violent
crimes in a remote Alaskan Native village where the perpetrator
and PX actor Teddy Skyle Smith claimed Innykins sinister mythical
beings guided his actions. I have no idea what I
(01:43):
just read there, You guys, this is.
Speaker 2 (01:44):
Next level spooky alien stuff right here. This is interesting, okay.
Speaker 5 (01:50):
Season one of The Paper began streaming on Peacock, a
new mockumentary from the creator of the Office, Following a
documentary crew that filmed dunder Mifflin, as they now focus
on a struggling Midwestern newspaper, The Toledo Truth Teller.
Speaker 4 (02:06):
So it's sort of what's exactly a spinoff of the Office,
and it's got the same tone and from the clips
I've seen it looks pretty funny. You're gonna watch it frasier.
Speaker 3 (02:14):
You know. I actually saw. I only watched the little
preview things so far, and it's like it's the same
style and stuff they've done a lot of, like Rag
there's a butt coming, Yeah, Like Parks and Rec was
like this, which was good and all that. I feel
like it's just been done too many times. Now You're, oh,
it's overtime, So I don't know that I'm gonna I
would actually rather just watch The Office again.
Speaker 5 (02:33):
Wow, way to go in there with negativity.
Speaker 3 (02:36):
It's great.
Speaker 5 (02:38):
And paramount plus as a series premiere of NCIS Tony
and ZeVA, the NCIS spinoff follows Tony Donazzo and ZeVA
David as they raise their daughter Tally in Paris after
Ziva's supposed death and eventual return.
Speaker 2 (02:56):
It's time for something fresh in Courtney's corner. You're on
Maroo Courtney Lopez.
Speaker 6 (02:59):
Right, what are we talking about today?
Speaker 5 (03:01):
Productivity? Okay, something we need to do in our lives,
specifically the Three Three Three method. I know you love lists,
so you should love this.
Speaker 6 (03:12):
Okay.
Speaker 5 (03:13):
If you're not getting things done, it could be because
you're focusing on the wrong things right, not managing your
time well, or procrastinating important tasks, or possibly even all three.
Speaker 2 (03:23):
So this may help.
Speaker 5 (03:24):
The three three three method you may have seen us
all over TikTok and Instagram. So here's what you do.
Start your day with three hours devoted to one big thing.
Then take a break, then do three time sensitive tasks
you've been putting off, something like a phone call or
an email that you've been avoiding to you know to
(03:45):
reply to. And then end your day with three routine
tasks like laundry dishes, a quick air, and or you
can even count making your three three three list for
the next day.
Speaker 4 (03:58):
I did this this last week in Are you Proud
of Me? The way I attacked my closet for like
six hours?
Speaker 3 (04:03):
Wait, is the closet done?
Speaker 2 (04:05):
No, nobody's a major.
Speaker 3 (04:07):
It's going on for six eight years.
Speaker 5 (04:11):
Can I just say he's taking the number three to
literally because we've been living in our house three years
now and he's just starting the three three three.
Speaker 3 (04:19):
This closet is a credit credit. This is a new
situation because the old closet was a whole thing.
Speaker 5 (04:23):
I'm very proud of what you did the other day.
I just don't know if it's going to take another
three years to what is accomplish. But I like doing
stuff like this because sometimes there's just emails you don't
want to respond to, and then there's days where you're like,
I have to do it, Just do it and get
it over with more.
Speaker 4 (04:42):
Mario Lopez on the way, maryle Courtney Lopez here keeps
the music in fun coming your way as Cordo makes

is so delicious, is the tasty ist nut. It's a
pricey nut, okay, And whenever someone goes to Hawaii, I

No, well close.
Speaker 5 (12:58):

Speaker 3 (13:20):
We're going straight to Vegas.
Speaker 4 (13:22):
More Mario Lopez coming up all Mario Courtney Lopez and
some breaking news. There is a new edition to Costa Lopez.
We now have two teenage girls living with us, our
niece Kalia, and she's a great girl. Let me preface
her by saying she's a great girl.
Speaker 2 (13:38):
Sweetheart.
Speaker 4 (13:40):
She's here on a big dance program. We're really proud
of her and we love having her. However, two teenage
girls is a lot. The music being as loud, they
don't want to go to bed, the discussions I hear
are just wild. And now what they're asking me? So
she has say bruh no, no, no, no, she's very
(14:03):
that she's a little too old for that. Oh okay, okay, yeah,
but it's just it's a lot. I was like, oh
my gosh. You know, so we basically have four kids
now in our hands full.
Speaker 5 (14:12):
Honey, So it's stress of having another child, but it's
also stress of having another child that's not your child,
which is another level of stress.
Speaker 3 (14:19):
I feel like you'd be extra protective, like your kid's like,
oh yeah, hit your head, it's fine, but her like, no,
no aware helmet.
Speaker 5 (14:25):
So last night I wake up it was like one
oh six am, and I hear the alarm chime. But
I had set the alarm, Okay, so of course I
wake up. Mister Light's sleeper didn't wake up.
Speaker 3 (14:38):
He was swaddled.
Speaker 5 (14:39):
So I get up to see who's breaking into our
house and confront the burglar?
Speaker 3 (14:45):
Hi, who he.
Speaker 5 (14:46):
Sleeps, and I see Gia and my niece standing at
the front door at the alarm pad, and Gia knows
how to alarm it and disarm it.
Speaker 2 (14:57):
Yeah, and my niece hasn't learned.
Speaker 5 (14:59):
All that stuff yet. She's, you know, still learning all
the things in the house. They decided to postmate candy
from CBS, and they were opening the door. Luckily, they
looked at the door and Gia noticed that the alarm
was on, So the alarm itself didn't go off, but
I heard the chime of shutting it off. So that's
(15:20):
what woke me up.
Speaker 3 (15:21):
The panic of oh, we're going to get caught.
Speaker 6 (15:23):
Getting candy at one or six antsy.
Speaker 5 (15:25):
And then I think I was so tired and so
angry that I couldn't even yell. But I think my
niece said to me, Oh, mine at home doesn't make
that noise.
Speaker 3 (15:36):
That makes it fine. That makes it fine.
Speaker 5 (15:38):
And I just looked at them, irritated with Gia because
she had to get up for school. Cleia didn't have
anything to do today. And I just looked at them
both and said, go to bed. And I turned around
and I fucked back to bed, just.
Speaker 2 (15:54):
Like goes right to bed.
Speaker 3 (15:55):
By the way, no no, and they.
Speaker 5 (15:57):
Just didn't buy like single portions. They bought Halloween size bags.
Speaker 3 (16:02):
Well, if you're gonna row a candy at one am,
you might as well go all out.
Speaker 5 (16:05):
Make it worth it.
Speaker 1 (16:06):
Thanks or Mario Lopez. Coming up.

com for all that morning.
Speaker 2 (17:18):
On Mario Courtney Lopez.
Speaker 4 (17:20):
And now that Labor Day is coming gone, the age
old debate continues. Is it okay to wear white after
Labor Day?
Speaker 5 (17:28):
Well, no one seems to be sure when or why
this fashion role came into effect. The best guess is
that it had to do something with the upper classes
back in the eighteen hundreds. But fashion experts, including Coco Chanel,
say it doesn't apply today, and I agree with Chanelle.
We transfer now from summer white into what we call
(17:50):
winter white.
Speaker 3 (17:51):
Is it the same shade of white?
Speaker 5 (17:53):
It's the same shade of white, we just have a
different season four.
Speaker 3 (17:57):
It's a different feel, yeah, vibe.
Speaker 4 (17:59):
I feel like this rule applies obviously generally, but more
so on the East Coast because of the warm weather
out here in the West coast, we can get away
with the white a little bit more.
Speaker 3 (18:09):
And we're not using coal in our furnaces like they
are on the East Coast. But you know, it's still
one hundred degrees.
Speaker 2 (18:14):
Out here and it's officially almost full.
Speaker 5 (18:16):
But I just think, you know, some of these old
fashioned rules need to just, you know, be flushed down
the toilet if you will, as.
Speaker 4 (18:26):
I say, like you always say no backwards hats that
you're wearing right now.
Speaker 1 (18:32):

That will be a sign that I won and you
will never see me again.
Speaker 3 (20:44):
To be fair, you weren't coming tomorrow anyway.
Speaker 2 (20:46):
Oh my gosh, y'all, marrim Courtney Lopez. It's every one
last thing.
Speaker 4 (20:52):
Apparently eighty six percent of gen Z employees have some
form of workplace bathroom anxiety. Some of them have, but
it's so bad they've considered quitting their job. Not you,
I do not qualify because I am gen X now
gen Z.
Speaker 3 (21:06):
Yeah, you're like the Fonds. That's your second audience.
Speaker 6 (21:09):
I'm a man.
Speaker 4 (21:10):
Employees are worried about being smelled, judged, heard, or remembered
for something they'd rather forget.
Speaker 2 (21:17):
This is hilarious, by the way. Eighty six percent is
pretty much everyone.
Speaker 5 (21:22):
Okay, so let me. Let me rephrase this. You're the
reason they want to quit.
Speaker 2 (21:27):
What do you mean, because you're.
Speaker 3 (21:28):
A flip side. It's the flip side.
Speaker 2 (21:31):
See, so you're just walking around miserable.
Speaker 3 (21:34):
There's something with gen Z though, because I saw another
story today that I think the story came out a
couple weeks ago, but I saw it today. Like literally,
there's a high percentage of gen Z employees who have
had their parents come talk to their manager about something
going on in their life. It's like, what, what is
a song?
Speaker 5 (21:53):
Karen?
Speaker 3 (21:54):
Yes, they're even bringing them to job interviews with them.
Speaker 5 (21:57):
I don't even want to talk to their people now, right.
Speaker 1 (22:00):
More Mario Lopez coming up.
Speaker 4 (22:03):
That's a big thanks again to Leona Lewis for zooming
in on Maria dot com for more of my chat
with her.
Speaker 2 (22:09):
We are back tomorrow to do it all over again
for you.
Speaker 5 (22:12):
Lots of more stuff planned, lots more lots of Mona kish,
lots of fun things planned. Actress Aliah Thompson will be here,
Must see movies, a fake debate and more. Until then,
this is Mario and Cordo Lopez saying I've accepted it.
Speaker 3 (22:29):
Prepare the bath, Prepare the ball.
Speaker 2 (22:32):
I'm calling the front desk.
Speaker 5 (22:34):
Good Night
Speaker 1 (22:36):
With Mario Lopez
