Speaker 4 (00:27):
All of Mario Courtney Lopez.
Speaker 2 (00:28):
If you're looking for some date night inspiration, there's a
new dating trend going viral called choremancing. That's when you
combine everyday tasks together with date night. You could walk
the dog, do your weekly shopping, cook a meal, even
fold laundry. A new dating report from Plenty of Fish
says forty percent of dates now include a little bit
of everyday life, so apparently a lot of people are
okay with it.
Speaker 4 (00:50):
I love this. I was sort of choremancing back in
the day. I was ahead of the curve. Kid who
gotta be.
Speaker 5 (00:58):
You're taking conducted teting girls on Aaron runs.
Speaker 2 (01:01):
No, well you do like you grab a little coffee
and then you continue it with.
Speaker 5 (01:05):
The chormance, have a meeting, you know what I mean.
Speaker 4 (01:08):
You go out and you take care of stuff around that.
Speaker 5 (01:10):
You could do the closet.
Speaker 4 (01:12):
We could do the closet. That's right. That's right, honey,
We're going on to the closet.
Speaker 3 (01:16):
I'm not one of your exes.
Speaker 5 (01:18):
Don't bring me into it.
Speaker 3 (01:20):
Clause you bring up my old relationship. I never mattered
on the radio.
Speaker 4 (01:28):
This is a general statement.
Speaker 1 (01:32):
More Mario Lopez coming up.

Speaker 2 (02:04):
A little more music than going to get to a
random question Mario and Courtney Lopez. Here in the meantime,
Cordo is going to try to make us think with
a random thought.
Speaker 6 (02:11):
Would you got honey?
Speaker 3 (02:12):
My random thought is a few days back, we did
a random question where it was would you rather cough
bubbles or burb confetti?
Speaker 7 (02:24):
Yes?
Speaker 4 (02:24):
And you chose burb confetti.
Speaker 5 (02:27):
Burb confetti because he said he coughs more than he burps.
Speaker 3 (02:30):
True, but he also burbs a lot. And later that night,
I do not. Later that night, I thought it was
funny because this is just a random thing that happened,
not really a random thought. He gets up in the
middle of the night to go pee, and as he's
shuffling his feet that he doesn't pick up when he
walks to the bathroom, which makes a lot of noise.
Speaker 5 (02:48):
He burbs.
Speaker 3 (02:49):
And why and why? At two am? Did I picture confetti?
I know it was the day we did that question.
Speaker 5 (02:57):
Did you wake up the next day and find confetti
on the floor?
Speaker 1 (02:59):
No?
Speaker 3 (02:59):
But I pictured it because he said he would burb
confetti and that made me think of that at two am.
Speaker 5 (03:04):
More importantly, did you laugh?
Speaker 3 (03:06):
I don't remember if I laughed.
Speaker 5 (03:08):
I bet you laughed in your sleep.
Speaker 3 (03:09):
I probably did.
Speaker 2 (03:11):
You're just like full on fabricating stuff. It's wild almar
Courtney Lopez keeping the music in fun coming your way
as Quardo tries to make us think with a random question,
what you got, honey?
Speaker 8 (03:24):
All right?
Speaker 3 (03:24):
Would you rather be able to read minds but with
a thirty second delay or be able to see ten
minutes into the future but only on a Tuesday.
Speaker 2 (03:34):
Oh, that's a fascinating question. I'm pausing to really think
about this. I think the benefit would be read minds
with a thirty second delay because you can apply it
to so many different things. Gambling, for example.
Speaker 8 (03:51):
Will you do that on Tuesdays? If you could see
ten minutes in the future, you're just limited. Well ten
minutes though, yeah, But thirty seconds. If you're a baseball player,
you know what pitch is coming, that's different. And again
I'm not playing baseball right now. That was not a
solid example.
Speaker 2 (04:07):
I would just think knowing what's coming out of someone's
mouth thirty seconds before would help you in conversations.
Speaker 5 (04:12):
You could beat them to the punch.
Speaker 2 (04:13):
Yeah, ten minutes is a significant amount of time, but
thirty seconds all the time, that would be I think
more beneficial. Mario Lopez returns after this, keeping the music
and fun coming your way.
Speaker 4 (04:24):
Mario and Courtney Lopez. Here got a song you want
to hear?
Speaker 6 (04:26):
Hit up our mentions.
Speaker 2 (04:27):

from your questions, comments, random thoughts, What have you got.
Speaker 4 (04:44):
A few more songs? And then going to dig into
our mentions to see what's on your mind?
Speaker 2 (04:47):
So I don't know, all right, Cordo has been filtering
through all the notes you dropped into our mentions.
Speaker 4 (04:53):
You're on with Mario and Courtney Lopez. Would you find honey.
Speaker 3 (04:56):
This is from at Stefan siptos And he said, so
this is just life, huh. Watching pants go from baggy
to skinny and back again, over and over every ten
years until they put you in the dirt.
Speaker 2 (05:08):
That's called fashion. Stefan sip toes skinny jeans to baggy jeans.
And you know what's funny is I think the baggine's
are back now. Our son had on some jeans that
were so baggy. I didn't know how he was keeping
them on.
Speaker 3 (05:21):
No, and they were below his butt, and I thought,
I am not seeing this right now, like this is
not my male school has years have come back full circle? Yes,
I can't.
Speaker 5 (05:32):
The key is hang on to all your clothes. It'll
be relevant again.
Speaker 4 (05:35):
They will be relevant again. Although my true religions have
not come back.
Speaker 1 (05:38):
When will?
Speaker 2 (05:38):
They kind of have come back skinny jeans though, I
think you're going to take a minute.
Speaker 1 (05:43):
Mario Lopez will be right back.
Speaker 2 (05:45):
Mario Lopez here with a quick reminder that you can
listen to this show in podcast form.
Speaker 4 (05:49):
We take out the music to give you a quick
daily dose of fun and we're funny.
Speaker 2 (05:54):
You just search on with Mario on your iHeart Radio
app or wherever you get podcasts.
Speaker 4 (05:59):
I am Mario Lopez. Your music rolls on.
Speaker 2 (06:00):
After some quick food buzz, We've got a new frozen pizza.
Chin Simple Recipes put together a panel of food experts
to determine the best frozen pizza in the freezer ile
right now.
Speaker 6 (06:10):
Interesting In the.
Speaker 2 (06:11):
Winner, Screaming Sicilian Yes was crowned as the best brand,
with particularly high scores for the company's Holy Pepperoni. However,
the panel said that the best supermarket pizza is really
whichever one you're in the mood for in the moment.
Oh they were a diplomatic.
Speaker 4 (06:27):
Yeah alamaro, Courtney Lopez. No secret.
Speaker 2 (06:29):
It is not easy to keep up with all the expressions, trends,
and slang used by gen Z and those even younger.
It's constantly evolving. I got kids at home. It's already
keep up. And if you ever found yourself googling a
slang term to find the meaning, you're not alone. Unscrambler
dot com is breaking down the most search slang terms
this year, according to Google Trends.
Speaker 4 (06:49):
All right, what made the list?
Speaker 3 (06:50):
Honey, Mogging means out doing someone by being more skilled
or successful.
Speaker 4 (06:56):
Ooh, so Courtney with the mom Joe, that dude was
mogging you. You just can't. You just can't. Yeah passing?
Was he straight? Magging?
Speaker 3 (07:05):
You can be magging, but you don't want to be chopped.
You don't want to be undesirable or unattractive.
Speaker 4 (07:11):
We've heard our kidsies that, oh, she's chopped.
Speaker 3 (07:13):
Looks maxing with two x's, So it's enhancing your appearance
from skincare all the way to plastic surgery.
Speaker 8 (07:20):
We know a lot of people who looks max there's
a lot of maxing stuff because there's also the smell
maxing where they're mixing different fragrances together.
Speaker 3 (07:28):
Yes, I don't have time for any of this either.
And six seven six seven, that's a tough one because
it really has no meaning.
Speaker 5 (07:38):
It's stupid, but kids love to.
Speaker 3 (07:39):
Throw it around and usually get a good laugh around
its big seven. In fact, I was sitting in Dominic's
math tutor and the teacher said to him, what's six
times seven? And he just started laughing.
Speaker 1 (07:54):
More.
Speaker 2 (07:54):
Mario Lopez on the way Olmarro Courtney Lopez keeping the
music coming at you as Kardo tries to make us
laugh with a fresh mom joke. All right, here we go,
way out loud, coming at you. What do you got?
Speaker 3 (08:07):
Did you know that after watching the Earth turn for
twenty four hours, scientists got so bored they just called
it a day.
Speaker 4 (08:15):
That's good, honey, good job, call it to day. I'm done.
Speaker 6 (08:19):
Good.
Speaker 4 (08:20):
Hey, the deliveries on point right.
Speaker 3 (08:22):
I'm like paranoid and nervous, shaking sweating over here.
Speaker 2 (08:25):
You delivered nice a Mario Courtney Lopez. Few more songs
and they get a fire up the zoom so we
can chat with the iconic Brian Adams.
Speaker 4 (08:46):
New album is Roll with the Punches, and.
Speaker 3 (08:49):
Of course just played the iHeartRadio Music Festival, so don't move.
Lots to talk about with Brian Adams when he joins
us next.
Speaker 2 (08:57):
Mario Lopez joining me right now, one of the best
selling musicians of all time Grammy winning artists.
Speaker 4 (09:02):
Mister Brian Adams, How you doing, Brian?
Speaker 2 (09:05):
I'm good, Thank you, Thank you for taking the time.
Been a fan for a while, so it's nice to
speak with you. I saw your set from the iHeartRadio
Music Festival, rocked it out. What's it like playing the
festival like that with the wide variety of artists from
different genres.
Speaker 6 (09:20):
Oh no, it's fine, great, I'll play with anybody.
Speaker 4 (09:24):
I like that attitude. I like that very cool.
Speaker 2 (09:27):
Your new album, Roll with the Punches, is very much
like that attitude. That's been out for about a month
and now people are digging it and you've accomplished so
much in your career. What keeps you motivated as far
as writing new music?
Speaker 1 (09:39):
Ah?
Speaker 7 (09:39):
Well, this most recent album is on my first floury
as an independent artist, and it's a good about white earrings,
but I don't need ebuds, yes, and.
Speaker 6 (09:52):
So got quite excited about that.
Speaker 7 (09:53):
And at the time when it actually happened and I
was no longer signed, I remember walking upstairs and just thinking, well,
I guess I got to Roll with the Punches and thought,
that's actually quite a good title for a song. And
so thus was the beginning of the album.
Speaker 2 (10:12):
Very cool title and a couple of great singles on it,
which I want to ask about more with Brian Adams
coming up after a quick break.
Speaker 1 (10:18):
More Fun on the Way On with Mario Lopez.
Speaker 4 (10:21):
Getting back to Brian Adams, who's on Zoom with us.
Speaker 2 (10:23):
Mario Lopez, your new album is Roll with the Punches
and two new singles, Roll with the Punches you mentioned
also make Up your Mind. Any particular inspiration behind those, Well,
like I said, Roll with the Punches speaks for itself.
You know, it's about getting up and facing adversity and
standing on your own and make up your mind. Kind
(10:43):
of a special song. I use it as in my show.
Speaker 7 (10:46):
I use it to showcase my drummer Pat Stewart, because
he's if if you listen to the song You'll see why.
Speaker 4 (10:55):
Al Mario Lopez got Brian Adams on zoom with us
this hour.
Speaker 2 (10:58):
New album is Roll with the Punches, And I know
you're going to be on tour and I hear your
set is over a couple hours long, which is cool,
it always has been.
Speaker 4 (11:06):
That's awesome. You clearly keep in shape, right there.
Speaker 2 (11:08):
Any particular routine you like to get into to keep
the stamina night after night.
Speaker 7 (11:16):
Well, I mean, I think the thing that's best about
being one of the things you have to do as
a singer is you sort of have to always keep
working because it's like when an athlete trains to run
a marathon or something. You have to sort of build
up to it. And I think the same with voices.
You've got to keep them, keep them in certain.
Speaker 4 (11:38):
You got to keep it in shape to muscle.
Speaker 6 (11:40):
You've been in shape. Yeah, it's a muscle, exactly.
Speaker 2 (11:44):
Catch it up with Brian Adams this hour. What a
Mario Lopez here and Brian. Over the summer, you became
one of the few artists to play the Amphitheater of
Pompeii in Italy. Of course, the place was built around
seventy BC, which is wild. What was that experience like, Yeah.
Speaker 6 (11:59):
It was interesting.
Speaker 7 (12:00):
Played it acoustically just for my guitar, and I love
playing in Italy. It's an amazing place to play. And
to have played that particular Amphitheater, which was originally one
of the first places that I went. The first Western
band played I think it was Pink Floyd back in
the seventies.
Speaker 4 (12:19):
Wow.
Speaker 6 (12:20):
And so just to be part of that legacy's pretty cool.
I loved it. It was amazing and the food was amazing.
Speaker 4 (12:27):
That you mentioned guitars.
Speaker 2 (12:30):
Is it true you actually own and play one of
Johnny Cash's guitars.
Speaker 9 (12:35):
I do.
Speaker 6 (12:36):
I do have one of Johnny's guitars.
Speaker 4 (12:37):
Yes, Oh that's cool.
Speaker 6 (12:39):
Had nineteen fifty six Martin D eighteen.
Speaker 4 (12:44):
That's awesome.
Speaker 6 (12:45):
Was it?
Speaker 4 (12:45):
Is there a story behind that or you just got
out an auction or something.
Speaker 6 (12:48):
A friend of mine.
Speaker 7 (12:49):
Owned it and he came on hard times and I said, well,
if you if you're looking get rid of the guitar,
I'd be happy to take it up your hands. He said,
I would appreciate it, And so this is I think
give me to be a good home. So yeah, I've
been using it for a bun of years.
Speaker 4 (13:05):
Oh, that's awesome, very cool.
Speaker 2 (13:06):
Are one more thing I want to ask? So Hank
tight quick break and we're going to come back and.
Speaker 1 (13:10):
Wrap it up. You're the full interview now at On
with Mario dot com. More Mario Lopez on the.
Speaker 2 (13:15):
Way rapping up with Brian Adams, who's been hanging out
on zoom with us. Mario Lopez here and before you go, man,
you have any newer artists who you like right now
that are out the Tripanna.
Speaker 6 (13:24):
But there's loads of them. Yeah, I love I love how.
I'm really encouraged Bakshi by the songwriters today. There's there's just.
Speaker 9 (13:33):
People that can write stuff that I wouldn't be able
to write and saying yeah, I don't know who am
I thinking of Lowly Young for example, and Billie Eilish.
Speaker 2 (13:44):
And you know, yeah amazing, Yeah, yeah, I'd appreciate talent.
Speaker 4 (13:51):
Well, everyone listen.
Speaker 2 (13:52):

Oh this is great.
Speaker 3 (14:35):
This is a quick way to find a photo you're
looking for on your iPhone.
Speaker 4 (14:39):
Oh my gosh, I need to pay attention.
Speaker 3 (14:40):
Yes you do. You don't pay attention to my other hacks.
Speaker 4 (14:44):
This pertains to me.
Speaker 3 (14:45):
Okay, well, we know we all have thousands and thousands
of photos on our phone and sometimes you want to
find one real quick without having to scroll back for
days and days because you're always asking me, honey, send me.
Speaker 4 (14:56):
This picture exactly.
Speaker 3 (14:58):
So just go to your photos on your phone, okay,
click the maps icon and then you can zoom into
certain areas to find the photo you want. So, if
you know the photo, was taken at a certain place
like Dodger Stadium for example. This will narrow down the
photos for you. Then you can maybe only have to
scroll through one hundred photos instead of five thousand.
Speaker 4 (15:19):
Wow. That is solid. Okay, I am taking this to
the bank.
Speaker 1 (15:24):
