Livenation dot com Almar and Courtney Lopez just a few
songs away from Quardo's Corner, where we'll be talking about what.

Speaker 3 (01:05):
Honey, creative and messy indoor outdoor activity ideas for the
kiddos now that school is wrapping up and summer is
about to kick off. Just another next season of stress.

Speaker 2 (01:16):
Just kick them off the summer school. But we'll see
what you have to say. All right, back with Cordos
Corner and ten amorrow, Courtney Lopez, time to take a
trip to Cordo's Corner to get some fresh live acts
so hopefully make your life a little easier. What are
we talking about today, honey, Well.

Speaker 3 (01:31):
We're talking about now that school is wrapping up or
almost done and we're heading into summer.

Speaker 2 (01:35):
Here's summer. It's summer.

Speaker 3 (01:37):
Here's a few fun, creative, messy indoor outdoor ideas for
the kiddos. Ice painting or frozen art, freeze water with
food coloring in ice cube trays. Kids paint on paper
with the melting cubes or freeze small toys and a
block and a big block of ice, and excavate. I

(01:58):
love that word. Get excavate them with warm water and tools.

Speaker 2 (02:03):
That's kind of fun. You gotta do it outside seems messy.

Speaker 3 (02:05):
Yeah, it's kind of like finding dinosaur fossils. Same thing.
Sensory bin creations. Fill a plastic bin with dry rice
or pasta, water, beads or shredded paper, adds, scoops, funnels, toys,
animals or dinosaurs. Endless imaginative play. I mean do it
outside though, of course, if you want less cleanup.

Speaker 2 (02:25):
I like these hacks because it forces you to be creative.

Speaker 1 (02:28):
Good jobs more Mario Lopez coming.

Speaker 2 (02:31):
Up, Almorrow, Courtney Lopez keeping the music coming your way.
Right after Cordo tells us about a few of the
new things on TV and streaming over.

Speaker 3 (02:39):
On Netflix, we have The Burrows from The Duffer Brothers,
a supernatural sci fi series set in New Mexico retirement
community where a grieving newcomer and a ragtag group of
seniors uncover a monstrous threat.

Speaker 2 (02:52):
So this is basically Stranger Things Golden Girls edition. It
really is sold. I mean it's the same premise that
come across these sort of monsters, but with older people.
Good cast too.

Speaker 3 (03:05):
Skyman season four on Paramount Plus, high stakes medical drama
returns with the Air Ambulance crew facing new pilots, fresh rivalries,
dangerous rescues, and emotional fallout in the Canadian Wilderness. That
Canadian Wilderness is no joke, no joke, and James another
one over on Netflix. It's a sports documentary series where

(03:25):
Colombian soccer legend James Rodriguez opens up about his journey
to the top, his career highs and lows, and life
in the spotlight.

Speaker 2 (03:33):
Just in time for the World Cup, got it, James?
All right, Marion, Courtney Lopez, Here a few more songs,
and I'm going to fire a zoom to chat with
today's guest actor Harold Parano. Season four of The Show
From is streaming right now on MGM plus.

Speaker 3 (03:46):
Yes, right back to get the scoop on that and
more when Harold joins us next, hang on tight for that.
In the meantime, let's play more music.

Speaker 2 (03:55):
Tabon Mario Lopez, join me right now on zoom. You
know I'm from projects like oz La, The Matrix and
so much more. Actor Harold Paranol, how you doing, Harold?
I'm good, brother.

Speaker 1 (04:05):
How are you well?

Speaker 2 (04:06):
Nice to see you, Nice to see you season before man,
congrats your show from right now on MGM plus. Kind
of a sci fi horror series looks really cool and
pretty wild for those who may not be familiar. What
exactly is the premise?

Speaker 4 (04:22):
So from us about a group of people who who
entered into small little town it feels like small town
America anywhere, and once you get into the town, there's
no road out. You're just you're always stuck and then
at night you're being hunted by creatures. So and that's
just the beginning of it. So we're four seasons into

(04:44):
it now and which we're still trying to develop the
series about why we're trapped there, who these monsters are,
what the other monsters that are Yeah, we are, so
we're all still developing theories about that now. But it's
been four seasons of a lot of good fun.

Speaker 2 (05:01):
So that's awesome. Man, that's such a fun premise. All right,
lots more to talk about, but we got to take
quick break, hang tight more with Harold coming up.

Speaker 1 (05:08):
More fun on the way on with Mario Lopez.

Speaker 2 (05:11):
Getting back to Harold Parano, who's hanging out with us.
Mario Lopez, you've been talking about his MGM plus show
from season four streaming now and you play a great
name boyd Stevens and the great Name. Fifth and final
season has also been announced. Congratulations on that. I know
you're going to start filming soon. Can you say, what's

(05:31):
going on with your character?

Speaker 4 (05:33):
Well, you know, my character is, like you just said,
Boyd Stevens, really cool, tough name.

Speaker 5 (05:38):
It's the toughest I've been in my whole career.

Speaker 4 (05:41):
And he's a self appointed sheriff of the town and
he's tasked himself with getting everybody out of this town.
And the problem is you just can't figure it out.
And he has an impending Parkinson's disaster, you know whoile
i'ming down the pipe like he's got He's got the

(06:01):
shakes and tremors.

Speaker 5 (06:02):
That come every once in a while. And so Boyd
Stevens in this fourth season is sort of at a
real breaking point.

Speaker 4 (06:12):
He had declared in season three that they wouldn't break him, but.

Speaker 5 (06:16):
It feels like we're really close to breaking him right now.
It feels like pretty close to dun So you'll have
to watch the fourth season and see it. But he
makes it through there.

Speaker 2 (06:24):
But I think, okay, okay, okay, man, that's a lot
going on, a lot of layers there for your character.
Cool man, lots more to talk about. We got to
get back to the music right now, So hang tight
more with it all coming up the first one music. Oh,
Mario Lopez catching up with actor Harold Parano this hour,
season four of his MGM plus show from streaming right now.

(06:45):
But you're also part of this upcoming indie film called
and out Comes the Wolf, which is inspired by the
punk rock album or the band I should say, Rancid,
I remember Rancid. What can you tell us about your
role in that one?

Speaker 4 (06:57):
Well, I just a tiny role in that one, out
the Wolves, And it's really about these young kids in
a small town just trying to find their way out
and unfortunately they take the wrong path and uh, you know,
the path of like selling drugs and stuff like many
kids uh in urban areas do, and you know, and
the outcomes there. I play a Jamaican dad who's trying

(07:20):
to keep his son on the street and narrow. So
that one's not so much about me as much as
it is about the younger generation of actors coming up,
and which I'm always really happy to be supportive of.

Speaker 5 (07:29):
Man, you know, there's a bunch.

Speaker 4 (07:31):
Of new talented kids that are that are showing up
every day and like and if I get to do
movies with them, that's what I.

Speaker 1 (07:36):
Try to do. That.

Speaker 2 (07:37):
That's very cool. These small towns are working for your project. Wise,
I hadn't thought about that, right, Okay, lots more to
talk about hain Tyke though, a few more songs, and
we have more with Harold Parano. Marlopez here catching up
with actor Harold Parano Season four of from streaming right
now in MGM plus. So where do you shoot from?

Speaker 4 (07:55):
So we should come up in Nova Scotia and Halifax.

Speaker 2 (07:58):
Oh okay, so.

Speaker 4 (07:59):
Really really far away. And that's that's the most unfortunate
thing about it. My kids are here, and so getting
to see them while you know, like leading the show
is is quite tricky. You know, they're in school and
stuff like that. My middle one is going to Stanford.

Speaker 2 (08:14):
I'm so excited for congratulations. Thanks number one university man
nice number one.

Speaker 4 (08:19):
Yeah.

Speaker 5 (08:20):
Yeah, she worked her butt off to get there, and so.

Speaker 4 (08:23):
You know, so them working really hard, me being all
the way over there.

Speaker 5 (08:27):
It's really tricky.

Speaker 4 (08:27):
But that being said, Nova Scotia and Halifax in particular
are beautiful.

Speaker 2 (08:33):
Yes, cheeful, and very very cold in the winter.

Speaker 5 (08:37):
Well in the winter.

Speaker 4 (08:38):
Yeah, we shot one season in the winter. Bro Like,
we all left there going like, no, thanks, but we're good.

Speaker 5 (08:44):
They don't want to do that again.

Speaker 2 (08:45):
Yeah, yeah, yeah, but summers are very great.

Speaker 4 (08:48):
They've got beautiful lakes and all the little towns that
you know, Wolfville and Pei. It's it's really really beautiful
up there, man, and our crew is also spectacular.

Speaker 2 (08:59):
Nice man. All right, one more thing I want to
ask quick break and we're gonna come back and wrap
it up.

Speaker 1 (09:03):
You're the full interview now on with Mario dot Com.
More Mario Lopez on the.

Speaker 2 (09:07):
Way wrapping up with Adrea Harold Parano. You're on Mario Lopez.
And before you go, man, I've tried your bourbon. I
know you have a bourbon that you're partnering with. Tay Diggs,
Morris Chestnut, Malcolm d Lee called sable that lackly about
trade is good man. How'd you get into the Spirits game?

Speaker 1 (09:23):
Oh?

Speaker 5 (09:23):
Thanks man.

Speaker 4 (09:24):
Look number one, thank you for saying that, because we
are really really proud of it, Like we really wanted
to make something that that people enjoyed, that was really drinkable,
that you'd come back to and that you'd share with friends.

Speaker 5 (09:36):
And that's how we got into it in the Best
Man movies.

Speaker 4 (09:40):
Each time the characters Merge and and Uh and Lance
and all those characters, whenever they got together to commiserate,
they commiserated over a brown spirit. And when we did
the final chapters, Malcolm Lee declared, I'm not doing this again.

Speaker 5 (09:55):
So I wanted to find something for us to do together.

Speaker 4 (10:01):
And I met this really great little company called Bespoken
Spirits and they make really interesting spirits through really interesting technology,
and so I asked the Fellows if they were interested
in doing that, and we went and tested everything. We
tested rise and Japanese style bourbons and whiskeys, and we

(10:21):
came up with We landed on this Sable bourbon that
we are really really happy about.

Speaker 5 (10:26):
I'm really proud of.

Speaker 4 (10:27):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (10:27):
Yeah, congratulations on that. Good Thank you man. Well glad
everything is working out. Thanks for you, Harold. You're killing it.
And listen new episodes of from Premiere Sunday nights on
MGM Plus and you can catch all the previous seasons
right there as well. Thanks for checking in, Harold.

Speaker 4 (10:44):
Yeah, man, some day you got to come with me, Morrison,
Tay and Malcolm just you know, have some.

Speaker 5 (10:48):
Sable have a lot of things.

Speaker 2 (10:49):
Let me know you not a lot like you.

Speaker 5 (10:50):
Were just saying at our age. We gotta be easy.

Speaker 2 (10:53):
I'm good. I just can't go back to back. I'll
take that, I'll take it over. Let me know, yeah,
we will take care, ye maw Courtney Lopez. Let you

(11:14):

Speaker 2 (11:58):
Al Mario Courtney Lopez was wasting no time getting right
to a random question, she got, honey, all.

Speaker 3 (12:04):
Right, would you rather only ever eat dry overcooked barbecue
or only eat barbecue drowning and way too much sauce?

Speaker 2 (12:13):
Drowning and way too much sauce. You can always kind
of dab it. You can dab it, you can kind
of like shake it off a little bit, but you
can't eat anything dry. Like your mom. Recently, after a
thousand times telling her, has started cooking just dark meat
for me with a chicken.

Speaker 1 (12:29):
Oh.

Speaker 2 (12:29):
She likes white meat, and it just makes everything so
much better. When Loretta was here, yeah, your aunt, and
she was cooking her. It was like a masterpiece which
you made. But it was white chicken. I kept thinking
to myself, so much better if it was dark. And
she did it last night, and I'm very excited. But
does she agree that it's a good move.

Speaker 3 (12:46):
No, she hates dark.

Speaker 2 (12:46):
No, she hates dark meat. But she agrees that she's
gonna do it anyway. She'd do it anyway, but she
agrees that I and most people feel that I'm right right.

Speaker 3 (12:55):
We tell her you're not eating it, so it doesn't matter.

Speaker 2 (12:58):
You're just preparing it.

Speaker 1 (13:00):
Mario Lopez coming up, Mario Courtney Lopez.

Speaker 2 (13:04):
Here are a lot of popular pizza chains in the US,
but only one can be the best. Well, the people
have spoken in a new nationwide survey is answering who
makes the best pizza?

Speaker 3 (13:14):
Oh God, I am the people because I have spoken.
According to UGA of which surveyed more than forty four
thousand pizza loving Americans, Lot Pizza Hut comes out on top. Wow,
that's what up?

Speaker 2 (13:29):
What about Steve Kim will not like that?

Speaker 3 (13:31):
He would not like it, but you know what he's
wrong with about nineteen percent of Americans calling it the
best tasting chain. Dominoes is a close second at just
over seventy percent, rounding out the top five, or Papa John's,
Little Caesar's and Marco's Pizza Pizza. You cannot out Pizza
the Hut.

Speaker 2 (13:50):
You can't. You know what, I really do think it's
the best, though it is. I think it is right.
What's Steve Kim's problem? Well, there's a lot there, guys.

Speaker 3 (13:58):
That's a lot of times.

Speaker 1 (14:00):
We don't have.

Speaker 2 (14:01):
We only have a little time. All Mario Courtney Lopez
got some birthdays to shout out shortly in the meantime,
Why don't we squeeze in today's obscure holiday. What do
you got?

Speaker 3 (14:10):
It is National memo Day? Leave me a memo?

Speaker 2 (14:13):
Is it like a note?

Speaker 1 (14:14):
Right?

Speaker 2 (14:14):
Like you leave an old guy?

Speaker 6 (14:15):
Just write a memo and tell people something?

Speaker 1 (14:17):
So not?

Speaker 2 (14:17):
Is there a difference between a note and a memo?
Not really?

Speaker 5 (14:20):
Right?

Speaker 3 (14:20):
Memo is official office of Jargon.

Speaker 2 (14:24):
I'm a big note guy. You know that. I love
a post it. I love a note. I do it
to not forget anything. Once I write it down, It's
like permanently. You know in there?

Speaker 3 (14:32):
You know who also writes notes? Who that bond guy
right there?

Speaker 2 (14:35):
He writes notes. He's a noter.

Speaker 3 (14:37):
He locked me one this morning. Can you stop leaving
me notes?

Speaker 2 (14:41):
I'm just kidding, Old Morial Courtney Lopez quickly squeezing in
today's select birthdays. As always, Fraser's gonna shout them out
in our direction. We're gonna try to guess the age.
Just what do we got, Hannah, i'mbinder from Hacks.

Speaker 3 (14:54):
We like that show, Honey, we do like that show.

Speaker 2 (14:57):
And I believe you're gonna start to dance right, go ahead,
go ahead, you.

Speaker 3 (15:03):
Go first, No, because I don't want to put you
in a highbinder.

Speaker 2 (15:06):
Oh uh, I think she's pretty. Almost says she's thirty three,
thirty five, thirty one, Oh, okay, thirty one. Gotier somebody
that I used to know, somebody used to.

Speaker 3 (15:20):
Know, honey. He is someone who used to be forty nine,
so he's fifty.

Speaker 2 (15:28):
I don't believe Gotier is that mature. I believe he
used to be forty three and he's now forty four,
forty six, forty six.

Speaker 6 (15:38):
Judge Reinhold, Parley Hills, Cop and Fast as Original Times,
Origemond High, so many amazing things.

Speaker 2 (15:43):
Actually, Reinhold's got to be sixty five.

Speaker 3 (15:48):
Order in the Rhinehold it is seventy.

Speaker 6 (15:51):
That's ridiculous, sixty nine actually, wow. He pities the full
and he's someone that's Mario quotes a lot from Rocky
or one of the Rocky movies.

Speaker 3 (16:02):
Mister T the.

Speaker 2 (16:02):
Best, best best villain ever of the Rocky franchise, Cluver.

Speaker 3 (16:05):
Lang, Mister T is turning eighty.

Speaker 2 (16:11):
Mister T, who was also BA braccas in Your Team.
BA stood for bad attitude. He is seventy six. It's
a very strange name.

Speaker 6 (16:19):
His parents gave him, uh, seventy four, wow, seventy four
and Finally, he makes you feel like dancing, Leo Sayer.

Speaker 2 (16:27):
He makes me feel like dancing.

Speaker 3 (16:30):
I'm gonna say he's turning thirty five?

Speaker 2 (16:37):
Are you kidding? The whole song in the seventies, Oh,
seventy five, I'm gonna say he's seventy eight. Seventy Eight's correct?

Speaker 3 (16:43):
Wow, you know your elders.

Speaker 1 (16:47):
Mario Lopez will be.

Speaker 2 (16:48):
Right back of our Courtney Lopez music rolls on right
after some quick buzz, ABC giving the green light to
a Gray's Anatomy spin off. The one hour untitled series
is slated to be an edgy drama about a team
at a West Texas rural medical center, so basically Gray's
Anatomy but in Texas. Alan Pompeo, who starts as Meredith Gray,
will serve as an EP on the spinoff. Shonda Riimes,

(17:10):
who created the show, will serve as co creator. Details
on a release date are currently unknown. Wow, talk about
a heck of a run.

Speaker 3 (17:19):
Totally. These medical shows too, are just like the it
thing right now.

Speaker 2 (17:23):
Yeah, they're killing it, no pun intended.

Speaker 3 (17:25):
They're saving it.

Speaker 2 (17:28):
All right at all. Mario Lopez on Instagram, at all,
Mario on Facebook and acts. Just a few of the
many ways to get a note to us. Mario and

random thoughts. Whatever you got was this one from honey?

Speaker 3 (17:57):
This is from at Fashion Pharaoh six one nine hometown.
They said, somehow everything in style right now is crop
tight and baggy at the same time. How is that
even possible?

Speaker 2 (18:07):
Well, that's our kids. He loves baggy jeans. Our middle
son is our little son too, and then our daughter
likes everything cropped and tight.

Speaker 3 (18:15):
So they're true baggy jeans and crop tops.

Speaker 1 (18:18):
Yes, exactly, Marial Lopez.

Speaker 2 (18:21):
So do you talk to your pets, Yes, and not
a high pitch voice, but as if they were a
human or something. Mario and Courtney Lopez here. If so, well,
you're not alone. Experts a people who talk to pets
like humans are off an empathetic, carrying and playful. I
talked to them like their babies. Oh good, your goody butt?

Speaker 3 (18:38):
Where you going right? And they look at you like
I'm not an idiot? Why are you talking? Not like
that they do now. I talked to the dogs in
both voices. I'll have like stern conversations with them like
they're they're being bad well, or just like this is
a life lesson for you, you know you, why did
you do this? Yeah? Or or I talk to them
like yes and Andy talk to me and I talk

(19:01):
in the third person. I do so much, but I
feel like that's why they're obsessed with me.

Speaker 2 (19:05):

You're Mario Courtney Lopez. Almost time to pass the mike,
but not before we squeeze in one last thing. Our
son Dominic has a movie coming out this summer. We

(19:49):
are so excited about this. This is actually going to
be in the theaters, I believe for a week. And
let me tell you something. We saw it, not just
because our son is in it, but it turned out
so cute, so good. It is called Bad Counselors, and
it is a true story about these college kids who

(20:11):
got into some trouble and they had to do some
community service. So they went to this children's camp to
be counselors for these kids and they end up sort
of changing their ways, and our son Dominic plays one
of the kids.

Speaker 3 (20:22):
I obviously was there for the filming, but when when
you're filming, it's different because everything's just so chopped up,
and I laughed the whole time. I can see this
movie being becoming a cult classic, like one of those
older movies that we love so much.

Speaker 2 (20:39):
Going on, it does it does Yeah, that's Chris Klein
from American Pie. It's got Matt Cornett who was a
star of High School Musical and Musical, but he's also
in this new Amazon Prime show, the one of the
gaye shows that really Oh yeah, that kid, and also
Missy Pyle who's very very funny. But it's got a
little sum for everyone, the kids, the adults turned out
really cute. Looking forward to you guys checking it out.

Speaker 3 (21:00):
It's called Bad Counselors and then it'll stream as well.

Speaker 1 (21:03):
Mario Lopez, We'll be right back, all right.
