Eastern time, six o'clock Pacific. How we feeling here on
(01:01):
a Wednesday? Huh yeah, hump day, hump day, Come on,
bar humpy, good day. It's a good day. It's a
great yeah. Huge alright, So let's get into somebody who
was talking about a situation in the NFL. So you
know these uh, these Tom Brady rumors and rumblings that
(01:24):
Dana White started at the UFC two seventy eight over
the weekend talking about how the Raiders or you know,
just trying he was trying to facilitate the Tom Brady
to Las Vegas move and also bring Gronk and he
didn't really want to talk about it, and he didn't
know why Gronk even brought it up on for a second,
acknowledge this about Dana White. Yes, is that not a
(01:46):
smart savvy business move? I mean it's Tom Brady is
in Las Vegas. Isn't that gonna then help what you're
doing with UFC and everything else that's involved around that? Like,
oh yeah, that's where I feel like remember when the
Tambay bucks an issue recording Tom Brady, they involved Derek
Jeter as part of that. Like when you have cities
(02:10):
where you get those celebrities, those ultra wealthy individuals that helped,
you know, get athletes understand why there's value there, that's
what makes it work. That's what makes people like see
the bigger picture to all of it because at the
end of the day, I know people are gonna hate
hearing this. It's just about making money. That's that's what
it's ultimately about. And then all these rich guys are
(02:31):
just trying to figure out how to do it together
if they can. So that's one of the more like underestimated,
like low key, really savvy things that Dana White attempted
because Mark Davis can't. I mean, in that instance, you know,
some of those conversations, depending on the timing of them,
could have been considered tampering. And so if you've got
(02:51):
an advocate like Dana White who's under you know, no
obligation to abide by the c b A, he could
have those conversations very really with Gronk and Tom Brady
and broker if you will a deal. So it's just
it was kind of cool though, to hear like the
backstory to all of that and then the business acumen
of a guy like Dana White. I'm I'm wondering why
(03:12):
he was so against, you know, it being talked about
at that moment, Like help me understand that. Why why
would know what it wasn't he brought it up, But
it seemed like Dana White was like, he put it
on Gronk in terms of bringing it up, and that
was why he felt he needed to answer it. And
you know, because Gronk put him on the spot. He's
(03:34):
he brought it up, and Dana White's like, you really
want me to talk about this? Yeah, but I'm saying,
but why why why would he say? You know, why
would he kind of approach it that way? I mean,
why not? It's it's a no brainer, right, like you said.
I mean, it's a no brainer to try to bring
them or want them to come to the market that
you're in. I mean, but that But that's what I'm
saying is I don't think Dana White was hesitant. I
(03:56):
think he was more like, hey, Gronk, are you sure
you want me to bring this up, because I'll talk
about it, which he did. It was more like this
could maybe get like you in trouble or more flak
on you and your boy Tom Brady, who obviously we're
aware of these conversations because you guys who I was
talking to. I think it was more like he was
trying to Dronk from Gronk not realizing what he was doing. Yeah,
(04:20):
And that's what I was trying to kind of understand
is why why and and why would Gronk bring it
up if that's the case. I mean now that now
that it's all come out, everybody's linking you know, obviously
car to to Tom Brady's comments that he made in
the shop, and I don't you know, I don't know
that that creates any real be for anything like that,
(04:41):
but it's certainly out there for consumption. I mean, well,
I will go this far as saying, did Darren Waller
get a new contract yet in Las Vegas? Oh? And
it's weird because Josh McDaniels and Siegler, those guys, they
know Rob Gronkowski nothing, okay, all right, I'm just saying, like,
I guess, if you're Rob Gronkowski and you're looking at
(05:03):
coming back, and maybe you're looking at down the road
a good place to kind of put up some roots,
whether it's with making some money in the gambling industry
and every with everything else, Like, I don't know, it
wouldn't be the worst place to go play. He could
have Gronk could have a residency in Vegas. I'm not
even kidding with this. He could have a residency there,
and he could do whatever show he wanted to do
(05:24):
weekly or or a three nights a week, and he
could make millions upon millions of dollars. Vegas makes a
ton of sense for him and for Tom Brady and
both business. I think it would make a ton of sense.
And look, you know, Tom Brady is a free agent
after the end of this year. And um, even though
Derek Carr got a contract extension from the Raiders, UM,
(05:46):
Josh McDaniels, if if things don't go as smoothly as
what a lot of people expect them to go, all
of a sudden, you're looking around. I don't I don't
think it's that crazy in on Gronk, Like, let's bring
Gronk in. I it's not that crazy. Here's the thing.
Gronk isn't that old. No, he's really he's three. He's
(06:08):
got more of an injury history that makes you go okay,
like I could see you where the wear and tear.
But the truth of the matter is he hasn't been
playing that much lately. And I feel like, you know,
he could probably thirty three years old. I mean that's
not agent by anything. It's just all the stuff he's
been through physically and then and they really want to
to go do it. I mean, like, it's not I
(06:30):
just I don't think and I can understand why. Wild speculation, Yeah,
but it's fun. Why not it? I can I can
understand why Derek because he, you know, was saying, well,
I'm immune to the Tom Brady stuff because They've been
out there a little bit before, and and he was
also dealing with some other stuff there with the Raiders.
Here was Derek carry yesterday. It is what it is, uh,
(06:52):
you know, for me, like I didn't even hear about it.
We actually had within the building someone lost a family member,
so like I was so immersed in at and just
talking to that person and that kind of stuff that
it was a moment to really put things in perspective,
like it really doesn't matter, you know what I mean. Um,
at the end of the day, anything I say will
just be blasted out there. So I'm just gonna completely
(07:14):
remove myself and just keep trying to play football. It's
been nice just answering football questions, uh, you know, and
hopefully hopefully no more drama in the city. That's what
that's what I hope to see there. It is that
that said, that's the diplom you know, and honestly, it
whether it was Gruden was there or the fan base.
I mean, he's a guy who's put up stats like
(07:35):
there's something like this, there's like of the past however
many years, like three or four years, only so many
quarterbacks have thrown for over four thousand yards and this
many touchdown passes and all that. He's one. He's put
himself in the company with like a Patrick Mahomes and
a few other guys, and he never gets credit for it.
And honestly, I would say he's had probably the least
supporting cast of anyone outside of Waller. I mean, we
(07:57):
can talk about Hunter Renfro, we can talk about some
of the number ones they've tried to put there, like
this year will be different, But I think if you're
looking at a supporting cast, Derek Carr has done the
most with less. He had z A Jones last year.
Nelson Aguilar popped in. Um. Yeah, he hasn't had a
whole lot, just just he had literally he was there
for like one good season now with the Patriots, like
(08:18):
it's it's the whole the whole things bit bizarre. But
and he also had bad luck because the year that
he was playing really well, that there was an argument
that that he was. In the m v P conversation
back I think it was sixteen, he ended up breaking
his leg, like what week sixteen, end up missing the
playoff game. And then it was that Connor Cook, Yes,
(08:39):
Connor Cook, who Ohio State love so much. They loved
the way he handled things with with Archie Griffin on
on stage. That was not not the smoothest look. But
Derek carr Um he did not have a lot of
luck there. He's been put in bad situations and the
Gruden drama from the get go. He had to feel
(09:00):
like he was on thin ice because Gruden never really
publicly backed him. It was always kind of, yeah, you know,
we're just looking for a little bit more, a little
bit more consistency, a little bit more of this, and
car just kept his mouth shut and kept playing with
it with a you know, a revolving door of players
around him to try and throw it too. So it sucks, man.
It's like that guy who finally hits it big on
(09:21):
the big screen. You know, he's been with this high
school sweetheart forever and then all of a sudden he
starts becoming famous. That everyone starts flocking to him, and
he's like, oh, well, this looks like a better option
over here. That's that's kind of like always Jon Gruden
regirless of what quarterback he has. Is that the move.
I'm just telling you that was how it seemed. It
was like he walks down the red carpet once thinks
(09:42):
he got better looking overnight, everyone's flocking to him. He's like, oh, okay, man,
this looks like But I also say this the Raiders,
I can totally understand why they would be looking at
the Tom Brady situation and going this would be something
we definitely want to kick tires on back when they
were trying to do it himself. But he did say
(10:06):
yesterday he doesn't want top Yeah that Do you think
they would entertain the idea of Brady next season if
you wanted to play if this didn't go that well,
and say the Raiders finished in last and they missed
the postseason and it just felt like it was a
(10:26):
little bit more rocky than a lot of people they did.
But you could you could make a move if you
needed to make a move um to try and you know,
offload that car. Do you think that this would be
something that they would consider. If Tom Brady said, Hey,
I want to come back for another year, I want
to play with Josh McDaniels, I want to do this
and I want to set things up with Gronk in
Vegas moving forward. Do you think that they would consider it?
(10:49):
I mean, that really would come down to you know, well,
obviously Mark Davis has to sign off on it. That's
the first thing. You'd think that Josh McDaniels maybe, but
I don't know, Uh, you know, maybe Josh mc daniels
looks at where Tom Brady is at and says, I
don't want to start, you know, not start over, but
he's gonna eventually have to start over, right Like Tom's
gonna go there for what a year? And then what
(11:11):
So I don't I don't know if I see that
working out, And what does Jel thing? Yeah, I mean
that's the other thing is I think she might make
the biggest or have the biggest say and whatever happens
after this season as anyone that's involved with Tom Brady, Hey, LaVar,
what would Mark Davis say if the conversation was started
about potentially bringing Tom Brady in like I would have
(11:32):
sounded period exclamation points. I can't get it. I can't
get Bucky Larson out of my out of my bed.
I had no idea who it was, and then he
pulled it up on the computer on that's not even
(11:55):
a movie where you're like lead over, Hey, babe, you
want to watch Bucky Larsen watching? What? Like? How do
you even consume that movie unless you're a single male.
I can't imagine there's like any women out there who
want to go watch Bucky Larson. It's a funny movie.
It is funny, but it's like more like to die humor.
I don't I don't know that. All right, Well, it

(13:23):
Midweek award time, we're gonna hand out are Good, Are Bad?
And are Ugly? Here, always a tradition every Wednesday here
on Fox Sports Radio. So we thought, listen, Week zero
is coming up in college football. That's really a disrespectful
term if you ask me, these games count. These aren't
preseason games, but it's been called Week zero. So we're
just gonna stay with the theme so you know what
(13:44):
the hell they're talking about. And there's some games out
there that you can watch, which is important, but maybe
even more important you can bet on. So we have
got college football games, and we have got teams which
all just speak for myself, um, and I'm not trying
to air anybody else out here, but there's like majority
(14:06):
of these teams I know nothing about, absolutely nothing about.
You're all of them, Yester. All right, you've got a problem, alright.
So here's the It is a I'm gonna go on
this blind and I'm just gonna swing swing the axe
and just hope I hit on something, and we're gonna
see how we do. These are a list of Week
zero games that we have got coming up, courtesy of
(14:28):
our friends at DraftKings the betting lines. So lead to lap.
We've got a live studio band here. It's Brady's Entrance
music every Saturday in the fall. Here that Brady. How
about it? Huh? A little more little move volume? Yeah?
Come on? Can we get a little more volume on this? Please?
A little more? Come on? There? It is there, it is. Yeah,
(14:49):
it sounds official. Now, it sounds official. Now the trumpet storm,
yeah sticks, this was playing when you gave that woman
the stiff arm. Right now, iwa sitting in my face
to face to the face by the way Americans the face.
(15:17):
All right, So so leave the lab. Where are we going? First?
We gotta start with the game on Fox. That's Nebraska
at Northwestern and Nebraska is thirteen point favorites in that one. Alright,
we want to break this down. I'm gonna break this down.
Go ahead, Okay, go ahead. So Nebraska is going into
(15:38):
a year where everything is on the line for their
head coach Scott Frost. A lot of staff changes, but
that doesn't necessarily mean a bad thing. Mark Whipple comes
in to call plays for the corn Huskers. He came
from pit last year. If you were a call, that
was Kenny Pickett's play caller. Had a very prolific year.
So they're hoping to bring some of that to Nebraska.
(15:58):
But they had to hit the transfer a portal hard
and they did. Trey Palmer's a wide receiver from l
s U. They brought in Oa. Sean Mathis is an
edge rusher they brought in that they've got high hopes for.
And then Casey Thompson formally at the University of Texas
has been recently announced as a starting quarterback. So it's
all got to come together. And we've seen teams do
(16:19):
this before. I mean Michigan State last year between the
signees and the transfer portal thirty new players, and so
we've seen this before. We've seen them have success. I'm
not buying this one though. They might win this game,
but it's gonna be a tight, low scoring affair between
two what we're three win teams just a year ago.
All right, Path fitz Gerald is the best at controlling games,
(16:43):
playing ben but don't break defense, and so they're not
gonna allow the big players. They're gonna play good red
zone defense. They're gonna try to sit back and see
if Nebraska can give them a gimme or two and
say a couple of turnovers on the flip side. Ryan Lensky,
he'll take over at quarterback. He's got a player in
the league Watch didn't who we can rely on the outside.
But it's really about the rushing attack. You know, last
(17:03):
year Northwestern lost camp Porter. They get him back along
with Evan Hall, and probably the biggest key is the
four or five starters on the offensive line coming back,
in particular, their left tackle, Peter Scronsky quite possibly could
be the first offensive woman taking next year's draft. He's
looked that as the best offensive woman potentially in the country.
(17:24):
So they're gonna hang their hat on that. You hammer
the under of this game, and on top of that,
you take the thirteen points in Northwestern and forget about it.
Yeah whatever Q that said. I agree. I support queues message.
Yeah me too. And let me tell you something. This
(17:46):
games and this game's in iron job man, that's what
I do. This game's in Ireland. The idea that that
Nebraska is more acclimated to Irish culture and things like that,
I'm not buying it for a second. If you go
to Chicago or Northwestern is located, you've got Irish bar
after Irish bar after Irish Bar, you go to Division Street,
(18:07):
you go anywhere on downtown you can get after it. St.
Patty's Day. They turn the river green there. I think
it's gonna play out that way. I think I think
Northwestern's going to Ireland. I like them getting the points,
especially if you're getting thirteen and a week zero matchup.
Come on, Yeah, that's a lot of points. Double digit
points in a week zero matchup first game of the season.
It's just a lot of points. What else we got, Lee,
(18:29):
Let's jump to a late game. Let's go to Nevada
at New Mexico State. Nevada is nine nine point favorites
in that one. I want to hear the analysis of
this one. Here you go New Mexico State. They've got
a new head coach and Jerry Kill. Anyone who knows
Jerry Kill, good coach very minute formally in Minnesota, had
some health conditions, finds his way to New Mexico State.
(18:50):
Here's the thing, very conservative typically, uh, he's gonna run
the football, trying to play good defense. The problem is
their defense was atrocious last year, giving up or almost
five hundred yards per game. So there's a lot of
work to be done and they're not gonna be able
to get ready for this one. Nevada has more of
an aerial passing attack. Nate Cox he'll be in there
(19:11):
as part of that. But also Shane Illingsworth, who was
originally at Oklahoma State, has now transferred to Nevada. UH
talked about Jerry Kill taking over the job. Well, Ken
Wilson's he's also new to Nevada. UH so he's taken over,
placing Jane Orvell who left to go to the Colorado State.
The reality is Nevada is a much better team. Um.
They've got eight returning starters on defense, the quarterback play,
(19:33):
some of the big big play needs. They hit the
transfer portal pretty hard for some of their skill players.
And that's one of the things, by the way, not
to get off on a tangent, when you look at
these week zero games, all these teams want to talk
about there's been a ton of movement the transfer portal,
like either movement away from their roster or to their roster,
or maybe both, I guess. But when you talk about
(19:55):
transfer porter we act like it hits the top teams.
It really doesn't. There's like a case here there when
you're talking about like the group of five teams within
college football, those are the ones that get hit most
by the transfer portal, UM and these two teams in particular.
But Nevada has used it to their advantage. You lay
the nine points and you play the over here. Nevada
(20:15):
is gonna put up a fair amount of points. Uh,
Kill's gonna get the Russian attack going on the ground
for them. But that defense is a long ways to
go in New Mexico State. Yeah, so what are we doing?
You're laying the nine points? In the nine points? Alright? Alright, Lee,
I'm gonna take New Mexico State here, all right. I
believe that there's gonna be a turnover effect. And they're
(20:35):
still trying to find their legs. In Nevada, Carson Strong
is out. That was the quarterback that Petros Papa Veegis
covered every snap of for his entire career. Seemingly in Nevada,
you've got the coaching changes Brady mentioned, and plus the
show Better Call Saul, which is a spinoff of Breaking Bad,
which was filmed in New Mexicans. Film it was still
in in New Mexico. See, so I think that's gonna
(20:55):
play a big factor here in this game. I like
New Mexico State getting the nine points. Oh, Bob, what's
his name? Something? O Kirk? O Kirk? I think it's ok,
Bob that his first time? Wrong, Bob, Bob Odenkirk. Did
you know that it was Bob oden Kurt. What's his name?
Bob Bob oden Kurt. All right, where we gonna leave.
(21:20):
Next up, we got Wyoming at Illinois minus eleven. Okay,
here we go again. Another team that's been heavily impacted
by the transfer portal. Uh Isaiah nay Or end up
going to Texas. Wide receiver Xavian valid Day went to
a s U as well as you know, some some
QB options and dps and all that, so Wyoming hit
(21:41):
really hard. Craig Bowl is a good coach, though, uh
this number is sitting at ten and the spread, to me,
that's a that's a big number for an Illinois team
that was atrocious last year offensively. Now Brett Bielema is
trying to address that. He brought in Barry Looty Jr.
Who last year is that U t s A that
was like a top fifteen scoring offense and country. So
they try to bring part of that, but Brandon Peters
(22:03):
moves on, so you have to rely heavily on Chase
Brown and Josh McCrae in the rushing attack and experienced
offensive wine at least on the right side. Uh So, look,
I think Illinois wins this game. This is one though
that I would go ahead and take the ten points.
I don't like the spread quite as much as I
do the over of forty four. Uh, that's one of
the lowest numbers. That might be the lowest number of
(22:25):
all these week zero games. So I think we hit
the over there. Illinois wins but doesn't cover the ten
point spread. You know, I was thinking the same exact thing.
I mean, oh, my gosh, cue like, did you did
you see my notes like for this get copied right off?
Did you my gosh? Bro? All right, because I was
(22:48):
like laying the points and you know, taking the over
on the totals and all that good stuff. You just said,
Man on goodness, that that that in my email? You know,
all right, I'm with you on this one. Leon taking
Illinois minus the eleven. And here's why I know a
couple even now it's a it's at eleven on DraftKings.
(23:09):
So I like Illinois minus the eleven because here's what
I know about Wyoming. I know LaVar was recently in Wyoming,
was with Big Crumb to the one for Wyoming. Yeah,
and listen, here's here's what I saw. Here's what I
saw from those pictures. I saw Long Islands. I didn't
see any Champagne, and this game's in Champagne. Because of
(23:31):
that and the fact that Olan Crutz as a son
who is a member of the Illinois fighting a Lion
I the Chicago Bears Lengen legend. I think that Illinois
gets it done. I think this is a statement moment
and a statement game. I like the a lie and
I minus eleven because there is I have no idea,
but I do like Illinois minus the eleven solely. What
(23:53):
do we got next? We got a game on FS
one with the biggest spread and the biggest over under.
That's Yukon at Utah State. Utah State is twenty seven
point favorites in this petris. I just I just told you.
I typically told like big spreads one week zero games
like Utah in this case, Okay, Utah State, you lay
(24:13):
the twenty seven points. Don't even think about it. Look
you con has been atrocious. Okay, it might be one
of the worst jobs in college football for whatever reason.
Jim Moore Junior takes over is the head coach now
trying to build this thing back up. He did hit
the transfer portal hard, getting a name that the bar
is gonna be very familiar with. Take Kawan Robert scene, Yeah,
(24:36):
shout out Iowa City. Things didn't seem to work. Out
very well there. Everybody stopped. Yeah, and they're gonna try
to be They're gonna try to improve upon being the worst.
That's right, A hundred and thirty out of a hundred
and thirty teams on third down offense last year, you
can was the worst. They couldnt stay on the field.
(24:57):
The conversion rate was like of something. It was atrocia.
And unfortunately they have to go up against Logan bond
Or who he's going into his fifth sixth year. His
sixth year is in Arganstas State for four years, ends
up going to Utah State now for the final two.
COVID gives him the extra year of eligibility in the
red shirt year, but he could absolutely sling it. So
(25:17):
this is one where like I think Jim Moore Jr.
Will help improve Yukon, it just ain't gonna be this
game and not this year. And oh, by the way,
I'm a little concerned about the over under. I like
the twenty seven points better than the over under last
time I checked up at sixty and a half. I
wouldn't play that if I had to play that, Probably
the under. I don't know how much Yukon is gonna
score in this game. Yeah you know this one. I'm
(25:39):
a little conflicted. Um, but whatever Q said, I think
that that's that that solves that really to eat my
my my conflict. Like whatever you just said the bet,
that's what you need to do. People, All right, go ahead.
So Yukon football hasn't won more than three games. It's
(26:00):
two thousand fifteen and they were sub five den and
guess what that means. That means I like Yukon getting
the points plus twenty seven. I smell I smell a
backdoor cover. I smell something like a like forty four
to ten or forty three to ten, and all of
a sudden a late touchdown, And here we are. There.
You got Yukon and Jim Moore Jr. Covering the spread
(26:22):
there and and getting us a backdoor cover we need
at plus twenty seven and Petros pop and Acres is
gonna be on the call. We can ask him all
about it, not asked for ex. So, if say the
line is ten points and you're a team, say you
have a twenty six to ten lead, you're leading by sixteen,
(26:43):
and all of a sudden, somebody scores a touchdown late
in the game by meaningless touchdown and they kick an
extra point. That would be a backdoor cover. Just seems
like a backdoor cover type of game. But let's not
ask specifically about that with Petros because he's calling the
game and that would be illegal. So there it is.
What else we got? And just in f y I
(27:05):
it's not Jim Morrow junior. He's got a different middle name.
Just hearing that up from a junior, that's why. So
hold on. My understanding is you could be a junior.
You can't be the second. Correct, you are not the second.
I guess you could could be a junior. You can't
be a second, third, fourth. I thought it was the opposite.
You can't be a junior unless all the names match,
(27:27):
and you can be a second if the middle name
doesn't match. Grateful, thank you, Jim je Alight playoffs. I
don't know. Yeah, we know it's his dad, Sam. Everybody's
well aware that that's his dad, and I Jim Moore
junior second. Whatever. Alright, what else you get, guys? Next up,
(27:50):
we have Charlotte at Florida Atlantic. Florida Atlantic a touchdown favorite. Alright, Brady,
take this one. Look, this game should be more competitive
than it was last year or F you beat the
breaks off of Charlotte. Charlotte does have eight returning starters
from last year on the offensive side of the ball,
so they should be able to put him some points
and put up a fight. But like I like experience,
all right, and Nicosy Perry, who was formerly at University
(28:11):
of Miami's transferred to f a U a couple of
years back. He's leading them now behind an experienced offensive line,
and I think a Charlotte defense that really didn't the
standard last year's they got a lot to prove. F
a US dipped into the transfer portal really helps supplementing
their secondary and their defense. So I like them leaving
laying the uh seven points here. This is a game
(28:34):
again over under. If I had to bet it, I
bet the under. But I like the spread better than
I do the the over under. Yeah see, I was
conflicted right there on this game, and then I heard
Queues analysis and his breakdown. I'm going with q on
this one. So lay the points or whatever it is,
and the overs and the unders and the back dooring
(28:55):
of the par laying of the hypothesis of the and
at this yeah there we go. Yeah, No, it's it's
a great point. I also would like to point this
out Florida Atlantic. I think they're a little bit distracted.
I'm seeing some reports that you got players on the
line that have got n I L deals with Hooters. Listen.
I don't know. Yeah, I don't know if they're gonna
(29:18):
be totally totally focused on this game. And because of that,
I think Charlotte gets them. We could also see a
backdoor cover. Yeah. I like Charlotte getting the seven point Listen,
I think the Yeah. I think the the distractions there
for Florida Atlantic are a real thing. To give me
Charlotte there. Next up, it's only a one point spread here.
(29:40):
North Texas only a one point favorite at U tep Okay.
This line moved to point in the past twenty four hours.
It was at pick them. I'm betting on a lot
of them. About them that seth Latrelle North Texas built
last season they won five straight to close um and
this might be one of the best linebacking groups Latrelle
has ever had on defense. So I look as far
(30:00):
as offensively in North Texas, you've got a couple of
UH transfer quarterbacks coming in to compete with Austin Annie
who obviously played last year. Regardless though they're they're gonna
rely on Rhad Derek Burns Um he's the guy who's
gonna tote the Rock Forum this year. In regards to
you Tap, I think the biggest mismatches probably the U
(30:21):
Tepo line in the rushing tag with Ronald Watt kind
of leading the way there in that Texas defensive front.
It should be a good battle to see how they
matched up versus that linebacking group of North Texas. Uh
and and and look, they'll take shots down field. Gavin
Hardison's the quarterback there at you tap for Dana Denville.
They'll take some shots down field. But they did lose
Jacob Cowen, who end up going to Arizona. He was
the big play wide receiver. We'll see how they supplement
(30:43):
that you tap hit the transfer portal Hearties in particular
for their secondary. All that being said, again, I'm kind
of leaning on North Texas here. UH don't feel great
about it, but I do like the over of the
fifty and a half best. How the hell do you
know this? Where do you get that stuff from? Get job?
I get that at your job, But where you get
(31:04):
this stuff from like reading, watching, I mean, this is
my job. I mean, God bless you. Q. You you
either are like you're like Rainman bro like but but
not like rain Man like but kind of sort of.
I'm going with you on this one. So if you're
listening to me and you're that based off of information,
(31:26):
um Q gets the information because this is his job.
I'm going with you on this. Listen. I'm feeling a
lot of momentum for the North Texas program. Does this
put pressure on you? Like having the follow up after
Q does his analysis, because I don't even want to
try it like you, you actually go after it Jonas
and try to sound intelligent. It just doesn't come. It
(31:47):
doesn't come out to say, well, appreciate it's always good,
complimented by your friends here on the show, Jonas. There's
a lot of momentum from North Texas here all right,
North North Texas and one of their most famous alumni
Stone called Steve Auston. He's again. He has dropped his
second beer he had the broken. Brady is a big
I p A guy. He knows all about I p
(32:07):
A s. And because of that, I think the momentum
is heading towards North Texas here, especially if it's sitting
at a point. They get it done on the road
in El Paso and they beat U TEB. What's the
final game leave before we gotta go to Eddie Garcia?
Best for last? Vanderbilt at Hawaii. Vanderbilts eight point. Tim
Chang takes Ober at Hawaii. But oh boy, is this
(32:29):
a rebuild? Um? A lot of changes out there in Hawaii.
Chevin Cordero their quarterback. I mean, why would you leave
Hawaii to go to San Jose State? I mean Santose State.
It's a good program, don't be wrong, but I mean
you plan it a y it seems really nice. Anyway, Uh,
this is one where I'm gonna go ahead and lay
the seven points and Vanny. This line is kind of
fluttered between seven and six and a half. Build better
(32:50):
obviously six and a half with Vandy, But um, the
reality is, Look, they got a sound defense. I think
they match up better even though they're the worst team
in the SEC. I'm betting on Claric Lead and his
crew just having more talent and being more ready for
this one. I also like the under. I think this
is one of those low rescoring games as Hawaii tries
to open some things up, maybe hits some big plays early,
(33:13):
but then struggles to settle in as Vandy controls the game,
running the football and and shutting down U the Hawaii off.
By the way, this line is at eight now and
draft Kings. That is a big move. Yes, I don't
feel as good about it, but it does give you
an idea as far as where this line's moved then,
so I kind of feel better about at least where
where the money is going at this point. All right,
(33:34):
LaVar what you want from me? That's just just to pick.
I mean, you like Vanderbilt minus the eight, or you
like Hawaii because I'm taking I'm bowing up here. I
like there. I like the rainbows. Give me the eight points.
That's a long trip from Nashville. It's gonna be the
most palm trees they've ever seen in their entire lives.
Are gonna be distracted. I think Hawaii gets it done
there in a capacity in front of a capacity crowd
(33:57):
of like six thousand people or something like that. Here's
a shocker. Here's a shocker. I'm going with Jonas this one. Yeah,
I'm gonna support my I'm gonna support my bro Jonas
on this one. I've supported the entire time. Now I'm
gonna go with Jonas. Throw them up, sticks, throw them
up your hooks, all right. It is that Two Pros

There are some good things that happen, and there's some bad,
and then there's some downright ugly things. It's type four good,
(35:44):
bad and ugly. Alright, lead to lap who's got what? Well?
As we do each and every Wednesday. We started with
the good in this week that goes to LaVar. All Right,
you guys may remember Danielle Burgolie. You remember the name
a k A at Barbie catch me out side? How
about that? There you go from dollar till yes it is.
(36:07):
She actually became a millionaire by being a rapper on
check this out, launched on only fans. Well, here's the good,
here's the good of it. She has since taken her
success and has partnered up with Edge of Capital Foundation
to create a bad Scholarship award one point seven million dollars.
(36:29):
Scholarship will help a thousand students and rolling technical and
trade schools nationwide. Shots out to bad Barber, that is
super good, taking all of that catch me outside and
doing good and educating to you at that? How about that?
Now she now she catching millions of dollars in her
bank account. I don't want to like this, but you
(36:52):
can't help it. Like it's great, and this is great.
I would say most of the things she just talked
about her talent bow. You know, listen, there's you know,
there's not everybody's perfect. You know, That's why I just said,
you know, I just focused on the good of it.
You know, Bad Barbie, you know she's gonna be sweet.
And you talk about catch me outside, Brady, how about that?
(37:13):
How about that? Catch me? What else? From bed Barbie
to the bed Jonas? What was bad this week? All right?
So here's the situation in Washington. They got a quarterback
in Carson Wentz, and I have now completely done a
one eighty. I have all in on Carson Wentz. And
here's why. Jimmercy who just talks and talks and talks
(37:35):
and blames everybody for everything. It doesn't make a whole
lot of sense. He is now multiple times this offseason gone.
After Carson Wentz talked about the quarterback situation, talked about
how bad it was, I got news for you. It
wasn't as bad. From Carson wentzre is a lot of
people make it out to be the left hand and interception.
Not a good look. Playing the way they did in
the final game during the clown out in Jacksonville. Not
(37:57):
a good look. But Jimmery say, this is a bad
look on you. You keep attacking a guy who's gone
somewhere else. Move on. You got Matt Ryan, try and
win a game this year. Brady camping up with some
ugly I mean, I still can't get over whatever the
hell was happening at the Yankees game. The dude drinking
(38:17):
a beer through a hot dog like that is the
whole thing was so distasteful. And here's what happens. So
some clown does that, and then you see everyone on
social media imitating it. So it only got worse. As
I would try to go look for other information elsewhere,
I see all these people drinking drinks out of a
hot dog. That's ugly. Great Coome on it could be
(38:41):
a killed joy Zz. Fox Sports Radio has the best
