You know, I'm not trying to be the bear of
bad news, but somebody's got to tell the truth about
some things in the NFL. So we'll get into that

(00:43):
here coming up in just a couple of moments from now.
It's Two Pros and a Cup of Joe Fox Sports Radio.
No LaVar Arrington, no Brady Quinn, Jonas Knocks with you here.
We're gonna take you all the way up on a
solo mission through the end of the hour nine am
e Eastern time, six o'clock Pacific. You can hang out
with us as always on the I Heart Radio app.
You can find us on hundreds of affiliates all across

(01:04):
the country and wherever the hell you are making us
a part of your Monday morning. Happy Labor Day to
you and yours. We appreciate you hanging out with us here.
It's gonna be a fun right the rest of the
hour here on fs R. I would like to say
this though, UM shout out two. Uh. There was a
lot of people knocking the number of people that were

(01:24):
at the u c l A game over the weekend
against Bowling Green, because you know, it was pretty sparse,
you know, a lot of Um. I don't know. I
was just curious if maybe they were getting a headstart
on Halloween and everybody was trying out their empty seat costumes.
I thought maybe that could have been a possibility. That's
why there was nobody there. Um, you know, maybe the

(01:45):
fact that it was Bowling Green and it was u
c l A and it was early in the season.
Oh no, it might have been the fact that it
was like a hundred plus degrees and nobody wants to
sweat their balls off at a u c l A game.
No offense to the Rose Bowl. It's to find place
nobody wants to sweat them elves to death watching u
c l A pay play Bowling Green and so they
were talking about the number of people that bought tickets.

(02:07):
Now there was twenty seven thousand, which is a record
low for u c l A, like twenty seven thousand plus,
But if you watch the game or look at any
of the highlights on social media, there was nowhere close
to twenty seven thousand people. I'm shocked they had as
many people as they did at the game. There was
like empty, I can't believe it was empty. Nobody, Like,

(02:31):
who wants to sit in that weather and watch u
c l A bowling Green Well, they're not real fans. No,
they're just not fans that don't want to have body
parts stick to a seat when they try and get
up and use the restroom. That's what they don't want,
right Like, And for anybody that's listening right now, they're
just waking up and listening on the blowtorch a M

(02:54):
five seventy l A Sports. You know what I'm talking about.
Anybody in southern California. You know what this weekend's been?
All right? You know what this this uh, this Labor
Day is going to be. Like everybody listening to this
right now, at one point or another smelled themselves and
said oof, get a couple more strokes of deodorant. Like

(03:15):
finding somebody in southern California this weekend who didn't have
at least one bout of bo during the course of
the weekend at one point in time is like finding
somebody who knows how to fly like it is. It
is a rare person that didn't have to deal with
some of those body issues over the weekends. So the

(03:35):
fact that U c l A drewd people usc S
numbers weren't great. I mean, come on, man, listen. You
know people got stuff to do holiday weekend and then
they don't want to sit and uh completely melt at
a stadium. You know. It's just like there's gonna be

(03:56):
time for those of you listening across the country. You're like, oh,
those are first world problems. You guys are talking about
the heat. Hey, we can play this game when it
gets third team below. I don't want to see any
of you guys leaving the stadium. No, no, no, you
gotta wear it. This is the environment you grew up in,
all right, So you gotta you gotta wear what you
got seven layers frostbite, a bush light sticking to your

(04:20):
lips and trying to dig yourself out of snow to
get home and get back in time so you can
make it to work the next day. Alright, we're gonna
play this game. Let's play this game. But listen, people,
God bless half full with that. I'm not sitting in
that heat to watch U c l A play. I'm sorry,
and I love Chip Kelly. Great for you, c l A.

(04:42):
They'll be in the Big ten soon, awesome, good for them.
Go do what you gotta do. But come on, yeah,
not not interested if we're gonna go ahead and pass
on all that. Jonas knocks here Fox Sports Radio. It
is two pros and a cup of Joe here on
fs ARE and you can hang out with us. Is
always on the I Heart Radio app and get me
on Twitter at the Jonas Knocks. All right. I don't
want to be negative. That's a lie I do. I

(05:05):
just simply think that it's important to point this out.
It's game week in the NFL. We got the season
opener coming up, We've got bills, we got rams at
so far, alright, like you know, people are are gearing
up for it, ready to you know, they've got they've
started to set aside their fantasy teams. People already have
their lineups in. You know, people are are are figuring

(05:28):
out where they're gonna watch the game. Plus, you got
you know, Sunday's games are gonna roll around, and guys
have already been farewell to their families because they're not
going to see him for the next three four months.
You got you know, churches. If you go to church
on a Sunday, if you are looking to sit in
that one spot that's always taken up, don't worry about it.
It'll be wide open next Sunday because every guy has

(05:51):
one one or two options either a not going to
church or be gonna go to the early Mass because
I'm not missing kickoff a right, that's the move. So
it's here. Football is here, It's game week. Everybody is
excited and fired up for it, and then the reality

(06:12):
is going to sit in, Oh, my favorite team is awful?
Like it really, it's like the countdown to your final
moments of hope, to where everybody right now thinks they've
got an opportunity to really be a good football team. Hey,
you know what this could be? Are you? I know
a lot of people are down on us, and we've

(06:32):
got a lot of changes. They've got some injury issues.
But I'm telling you, this really could be our year.
And we're like three days, four days, five days away
from them getting closer and closer to kick off, and
then all of a sudden, part way through the first
quarter of the game, they go, oh, we're bad. This

(06:54):
is not gonna be fun. It's why if you've ever
been to or have you ever worked at a sports bar,
or you ever been to a when do a place
that shows games, you don'tice how the numbers start to
dwindle down later in the year, right, you know, all
of a sudden, like, man, everybody's there. You got fans
from different teams. You got one guy in a Bills jersey,
another guy in a Bucks jersey. You got a Jaguars

(07:17):
fan there. You got a Browns fan sitting around. He's
got a he's got a a a an old uh
you know, uh number four on getting really really excited.
Everyone's like, oh, man, that's a great Deshaun Watson Jersey goes, no,
it's Phil Dawston. Just look at the back. I'll put
some duct tape on it, make it work later. I
don't pay the other eighty dollars to buy Deshaun Watson

(07:37):
jersey because who the hell knows what's gonna happen in
his career, Like fan bases from all around, sitting at
a sports bar, especially week one and week two of
the NFL season, it is the best, and then all
of a sudden, weeks seven or eight rolls around not
as many people. So what do you think it is?
Is it the food? Now that food has been the

(07:58):
same at that place every every week. What are you
talking about? I've been going there for years. Is it
the drink specials? No, those drink specials still apply. It's
not like those are just September specials, Like, hey, come
watch the game in the month of September and it's
two dollar pints until the final game on Sunday Night.
No, no no, those specials run all through the season. The

(08:20):
t vs, right, did the TVs change? No? No, no, no,
everybody gets dialed in. Everybody listen Labor Day right before
the start of football season. That's when TVs are flying
off the shelf. Ask lead to lap he just paid
seven thousand dollars for a TV. Al Right, Like this
is the time when you're purchasing this stuff and you've
got games coming up. You gotta like, so, what is it.

(08:44):
It's not the food, it's not the beer. It's not
the availability, it's not the TVs. It's not the venue.
It's still a Sunday. Why are these numbers diminishing as
the season goes along. Oh, it's because those are the
team fans of teams who all of a sudden realize, oh,
we're the armpit part of our league, in our division,

(09:05):
we're terrible. Thank God for fantasy football and gambling. That's
gonna save a lot of people some heartache, because if
you play fantasy football, you come to terms with the
fact at some point during the year, oh, my team standing, well,
at least they have fantasy football, and god forbid, that
stinks too. If your fantasy football team is brutal and

(09:25):
your favorite NFL team is brutal, I mean, that's like, uh,
that's the coup de gra I mean you could just
I mean, you could say bye bye to any sort
of happiness you're gonna experience over the next till the
end of the year. It's over. It is over. That
That is that is a rough way to go. That's like,
you know, crap in your pants. And then finding out

(09:50):
when you run inside to go change drawers that your
dog died. It's like, oh my god, what am I
supposed to do? Like, so listen, there's gonna be some
people out there. And I'm not trying to be super negative.
You're on a labor day, all right, That's not what
I'm trying to do. I'm simply trying to set the
expectations that majority of you. Like, there's there's percentages here.

(10:10):
It's a numbers game, all right. The NFL seasons coming up.
You got one person and one fan base who's going
to be really happy. Now you're gonna have several other
teams that are gonna be pleased. All right, You're gonna
have one that's disappointed, but they're gonna look back on
it and be really happy about it. And that's the
team that loses the Super Bowl. You're gonna have other

(10:31):
teams and fan bases are gonna be pleased. Those are
your playoff teams. Then then you're gonna have some fans
who are like, hey, not our year, but love the growth,
love the direction of the team. We're really happy about
what's going forward. And then you're gonna have that other
group that goes We're terrible. That's that's that's where we are.
We follow that group. We are a bad football team.

(10:54):
That's just what it is. And the best part is
you you don't think like that right now. So that's
what I'm trying to do. I'm trying to tell you
exactly how this is going to play out, all right.
I don't think I'm giving away any secrets, all right.
I'm not trying to diagnosee I'm just letting you know,
setting you up for the right expectations that chances are

(11:14):
your team is going to be awful, right, That is
all And again, not trying to be negative, not trying
to to cause you to not watch the NFL. You
need a place to vent. I would encourage you to
listen to Fox Sports Radio because we could have some
fun with it. I mean, look, the Jaguars were terrible
last year. We had a great time if we weren't
talking about the swimming pool in the top deck, somebody

(11:36):
bringing a snorkel to a game because they don't actually
watch the games. Remember the clown out they had. They
had people dressed up as clowns in the final week
of the season, and it worked because Carson Wentz fell apart,
and the Colt Smiths the playoffs, this is the place
to be. So if you are a fan of a
bad football team, and chances are you are, this is

(11:57):
the place to event. So we're happy to have you
along for the ride. And again, no negativity here, just
right expectations. That's all we're trying to do here as
we take you up through the NFL season. So happy
to have you along with us here. And your bad
football team kicks off this weekend, so it's it's a
pleasure to have you on with us. Jonas Knocks Fox
Sports Radio, Two Pros and a Cup of Joe. Get

(12:19):
me on Twitter at the Jonas Knocks at the Jonas
Knocks on Twitter and you can hang out with us.
Is always on the I Heart Radio app. Coming up
next though, we have got some optimism. There's an NFL
team who is trying to sell you on some optimism.
But we're gonna find out whether or not somebody has
been lying this entire time. We'll get into it right
here on Fox Sports Radio. Be sure to catch live

(12:40):
editions of Two Pros and a Cup of Joe with
Brady Quinn, LaVar Arrington and Jonas knocks week days at
six am Eastern three am Pacific on Fox Sports Radio
and the I Heart Radio app. Two Pros and a
Cup of Joe. Fox Sports Radio. Jonas Knocks with you
here on fs ARE Solo Edition, Lavari Tin Brady Quinn out.

(13:01):
They'll be back on the air with us tomorrow. We'll
get back to the usuals, unnecessary finds, ball busting, gonna
get Brady's thoughts on Notre Dame Ohio State. That'll be interesting.
I actually Notre Dame played well. That was one of
those games to where you come away from that game
going all right, I don't I don't knock either team

(13:21):
for for however they look. You know, I was stick,
got the win, good for them, But I don't look
at at Notre Dame and go, you know, I'm down
on Notre Dame based on that, on that performance they
were in that game. They led that game at times.
They were what a seventeen seventeen and a half point
underdog on the road, A true road game that works.

(13:41):
Come on, I mean it could be worse, could be Oregon.
I mean, uh, you've imagined that that that's that's a
t right there, that that you realize quickly, oh, we
can't compete. That's uh, that's a rough and so um,
you know, I know Jeff Schwartz, the oregan alum Fox

(14:03):
Sports Radio. Um, you know a host here, the great
Jeff Schwartz, that that was a tough one. But George's look, man,
like you see some of these teams and you go,
there's just another level, Like, there's just another level between
one team playing another. And I made this point and
that's why I don't I don't knock Alabama. I don't

(14:26):
knock anybody in college football that schedules a cupcake, so
to speak, or an easy opponent week one. I don't
fault them at all, because let me tell you something,
I do the exact same thing, and you can call
me a candy ass, and you can tell me I'm
soft and I'm afraid of competition. If I were running
a college football programmer I were a coach, I'd absolutely

(14:48):
do what Alabama does, and I'd schedule a Utah State
no offense to Utah State. Think about it. These are
eighteen to twenty one year old kids, j stead of
high school, some of them with no preseason game, and
you expect them to go all of a sudden, play

(15:08):
in front of seventy eighty ninety hundred thousand people, week
one of a college football season with no preseason reps,
and just say, go out there and cover the point
spread and don't lose, because our season is gonna be
over if you do. Like that's like when when you
see somebody who's got the balls, like a Notre Dame

(15:30):
to go on the road and play Ohio State. Good
for them, that's awesome. I'm not doing it, absolutely not.
I would take exactly the approach that Nick Saban took
and if I if I was going to go on
the road, if I'm going on the road, it's gonna
be a team that I don't feel pretty confident in
because like some of these spots, like you're you're going

(15:53):
first of all this say, you know college football. It's
week one of college football, right, there's some some telltale signs,
all right, sloppy play, okay, some bad offense, cramping and
weather delays. Right, this is how you know it's September

(16:15):
in the college football season. When a report comes out that, um,
we will let you know as soon as we get
clearance from the local weather service whether or not we
can continue on with the game because like at Texas
A and m uh, there was like lightning in the area,
like and so nobody's gonna send a reporter out there

(16:35):
to cover the game or leave fans in the stadium
with lightning in the area because nobody wants to light up.
Like it's can you imagine, Well, look, I mean it's
just rain. I mean they play in the snow. Get
lightning is a different story. You imagine you're watching a game,
it's a college football game. You're sitting in the stands,
all right, You've had a couple of beers, you tailgated
before you know, you're get you're getting ready to make

(16:58):
your trek up the steps. You're gonna you're gonna get
a soft pretzel that that's you know, you could probably
cut vegetables with because it's so hard. And then you
go back down, you sit down in your seat. You're
checking out the action. There's a little bit of wein rain,
some lightning in the area, and the guy next to
you gets hit by lightning and turns into a human

(17:20):
tiki torch. That's fun. It's a good time for everybody.
Like that's college football. It's early part of the season.
Asked Brady quit about when he was calling games for Fox,
when he was calling actual college football games. You know
how many times he had to miss a flight because
the game was delayed to three hours because of lightning
in the area. It's college football, like it's crazy Week one.

(17:41):
That's why when I see these teams schedule these these
crummy opponents to open up the year, I absolutely do
the same thing. Oregon. Hey, full credit. You want to
test yourself week one? All right, and you want to
go and you want to play the defending national champions.
You're doing it on a quote un neutral site. It's Atlanta.

(18:02):
Come on, ask anybody in Atlanta who's the most popular team.
It's Georgia. It's a george Bulldogs. Like you go there
and they just got destroyed, absolutely destroyed. So I come
away from the Notre Dame Ohio State game going, Yeah,
Notre Dame's ow on one. I'm not gonna drop him
that far in the polls. I'm not gonna say that
Notre Dame can't compete like they were in that game.

(18:23):
They led that game, they put on a good show.
Congratulations to Notre Dame. But we'll get to hear from
a Brady Quinn and get his thoughts on how that
that game played out there. We'll also find out because
he was part of his Twitter activity was part of
an over under we had on Friday, so we'll get
into that as well. To get me on Twitter at
the Jonas Knocks, The Jonas Knocks on Twitter. Uh, Sean

(18:43):
McVeigh and Matt Stafford, they're now, you know, talking about
his his elbow. It's weird though, because it wasn't that
long ago that Sean McVeigh couldn't really figure out what
was going on. Kind of a weird injury, kind of
an odd injury with Matt Stafford's elbow. So it's very
strange like that they couldn't for some reason, they couldn't

(19:05):
figure out what was going on, and all of a sudden,
the media started to get ahold of it, and then
the tunes started to change, and now what do you know,
games right around the corner, Week one of the season,
taking on the Bills coming up on Thursday, and now
there's no limitations. Matt Stafford's ready to go. Nothing to
worry about here. Uh, we we are all locked in.

(19:27):
Everybody's good, no issues whatsoever. We are. We are all
good here when it comes to Matt Stafford, and we
are all good when it comes to Sean McVeigh and
no issues whatsoever. So here's what, here's what we're gonna
have three days away. Right, we are three days away
from a very very important moment for all of us. Right,
this is going to be the crescendo of this story.

(19:50):
All right, So we're gonna find out three days from
now how gollible we all are. And this is important
because if you're goalible, you want to, you want to,
you'd early on in your life like that. That's one
of those things that you want to know early on
in your life. Hey, am I gonna fall for everything?
Like if so, I'd like to at least know so
I can prepare people. Hey, don't worry. Um, I'm in

(20:15):
my mid thirties and I'm still afraid of the dark
because I absolutely believe that the hat rack in the
corner of the room, uh is the night stocker Richard Ramirez.
That's how gollible I am, because I believe that when
I was a child, So I still believe it now.
So we're going to find out whether or not we're
also goalable, and we're going to find that out in
about three days from now, because if Matt Stafford goes
out there and just starts dealing and cutting up the

(20:36):
Bills defense, we fell for an NFL offseason story, and
we are idiots. Myself included on that, pointing fingers. I
will gladly point a thumb too. Myself included. I felt
for this story. If Matt Stafford goes out and performs
at a high level and there are no issues whatsoever,
all good. We fell for it. We took the bait,

(20:57):
hook line and sinker. They played us. That's it. This
one feels a little odd though, because there was concern,
legitimate concern. They kind of pulled back the reins a
little bit on on Matt Stafford, and then Sean McVeigh
was very honest about it, but then he was quick
to also backtrack on it and say, no, no, no,

(21:19):
there's you know where everything's good here, like we uh
you know, I mean, it's just part of the process
and we're gonna get this whole thing figured out. It
just but it's tough to repeat as a Super Bowl champion.
It's why so few teams do it. That's why you
don't see it a lot, and I just wonder if
this was the early part of what could be a
little bit more of a rocky year than what they

(21:40):
dealt with last year. And that's why we're gonna know
pretty quickly if he can, if he can manage it.
And listen, we've talked about tendonitis, and you know, there's
been some Tommy John stuff thrown in there, and you
know there's been some other things initially, and now all
of a sudden, now that the season's right around the
corner and we're a couple of days away, everything's all good.

(22:00):
Like magically, everything is good, nothing to worry about, no
issues when it comes to Matt Stafford. But at least
we're gonna find out the truth whether or not we
took the bait and bit into another overblown NFL offseason
story like we generally do, and we're just three days
away from getting to do that. Jonahs knocks here Fox
Sports Radio. You can hang out with us as always
on the I Heart Radio app here on two Pros
and a Cup of Joke coming up in about fifteen

(22:21):
minutes or now. We are gonna have the scraps in
place of the beak Q News. We're gonna get to
some things in the world of sports and beyond we
have not had a chance to get to. So we'll
we'll get into all that for you and have a
good time with that. By the way, can I just
defend a couple of people real quick, Tim Brando and
Spencer Tillman. So they were doing a jump around um
for the Wisconsin game, which is the tradition. I think

(22:43):
it's the start of the fourth quarter and Camp Randle
they do jump around and um they play a House
of Pain, and all of a sudden, the entire place
goes up and it was one of the great moments
of college football last year where I think it was
Penn State and Wisconsin where it was the first time
that they had been back, and there had been fans

(23:04):
and attendance, and there had been like a packed house,
and they showed every you know, everybody doing jump around,
and they showed Jenny Taft and everybody was just so
happy to be back because of COVID and there finally
it felt like we were back to normal and it
was awesome. It was it was just one of the
great scenes of college football last year. And so they
had to jump around again, and they panned to the

(23:26):
to the press Fox and uh, Tim Brando and Spencer Tillman,
we're jumping around their time. It was a little off though,
so very uh created some you know, some a couple
of awkward scenes. But I would just like to say,
like Tim Brando is having a good time, al right.

(23:46):
It's like when I when I think about Tim Brandow,
I think that guy's having a good time. I remember
doing going to a radio station alright back in the
day because I was like trying to learn to get
into the business. This was years and years and years ago,
and I was at this radio station and they would
tell me, like the host that I was with sitting
in with at that time. It was a Saturday night,

(24:07):
They're like, yeah, Tim Brando usually calls about this time.
And this is when Tim Brando was doing the CBS coverage,
the CBS pregame show on the studio show. I was like, oh, really,
like yeah, he goes out after they get done. He's
in New York. They go to dinner, he has a
couple of drinks, and he just calls us up to
talk college football. He just loves it, just loves it.

(24:28):
So he's having a good time. So you got people
that are kind of busting his balls, like what are
you doing? You guys looked awkward, It looked a little
weird in the booth. Dude's having a good time now again,
timing was a little off, and you know, one person
jumped when the other one was and uh kinda had
to grab his shoulders to hold on. But to get
look taken out of context. I can understand why they

(24:50):
would be a little bit of an issue. I get it.
But they're trying to enjoy themselves. They love them some
college football and h Tim Brando and Spencer time and
are a great duo. So so good for those guys.
Haven't added there in the booth, Jonas knocks two pros
and a cup of Joe Fox Sports Radio. All right,
I'm gonna make a prediction, right, I would like to

(25:10):
make a prediction verto to stop, like listen, just the
timing was off, right, they just you know, there's nothing
wrong with that, Just a couple of guys having a
good time. Um, I would like to make a prediction here.
Coming up later on, We've got Clemson at Georgia Tech.
That's the Monday night matchup. That is the the finale,

(25:31):
that is the cherry on top of the Labor Day Sunday,
that is a five day extravagance of college football. It's
gonna be Clemson in Georgia Tech. Now, if you've noticed
something over the weekend in college football, a lot of
the alma mater shows up to these games. So if
you're an NFL player and your team is playing, because

(25:55):
your NFL team doesn't kick off until next week, you
actually have the ability to go see your alma mater play.
So Ohio State had a ton of people in attendance.
You had Maurice Clarette, Uh, you had Justin Fields who
was there. You had a bunch of other colleges around
the country. Players in the NFL, they have the ability

(26:17):
to go and see their team. And so you've you've
probably noticed on the sideline, like some NFL players from
other places going to check out their guys, going to
visit with some old friends and see their old coach
and all that. And so it got me to thinking,
you know, I wonder who could possibly show up when
it's Clemson and Georgia Tech later on, And um, I

(26:40):
would like to call my shot. I'm gonna go ahead
and say unequivocally, Deshaun Watson's probably not making that trip
just best guess, probably not gonna be on the sidelines
watching Clemson Georgia Tech. And if he is, uh, he
clearly doesn't know to read the room all right. Now,

(27:02):
Never mind the fact that Deshaun Watson has you know,
some issues which led to his eleven games suspension, you know, weird.
I don't know why eleven and not twelve. Oh, because
the twelve would have been he would have missed the
game against the Texans. But again, listen, just probably coincidental, Um,
Deshaun Watson not only just for that reason maybe would

(27:25):
not be a great idea to show up, but also
the fact that the games in Atlanta, and Um, part
of the story that a lot of people don't really
want to talk about when it comes to Deshaun Watson
and the Cleveland Browns is the fact that he was
ready to go to Atlanta. That was that was the team.
He was ready, and the Browns stepped in and offered
him that money. Now, Deshaun Watson told you that the

(27:46):
money and the contract he got had nothing to do
with his reason to go to Cleveland. Yeah, totally, And um,
My desire to dress up like the rabbit Chuck e
Cheese had nothing to do with the fact that I
was broken. I needed money, nothing at all. Love the costume.
Loved it. It's fun. Like, there's nothing I want more
in life than to dress up like a giant stuffed

(28:07):
animal and get assaulted by four year olds outside the
ball pits. It's great. Who does he want that? Come on? No,
I needed the cash. Deshaun Watson was going to get paid.
That's why he went to the Browns. But he was
planning on going to the Falcons so much so that
in one Instagram video that he posted, he had gotten

(28:31):
his Cleveland Browns jersey. And so he's in like the
game room of his home and he's got his Cleveland
Brown's jersey laid out for him and he's looking at
the Browns jersey but numb nuts. I didn't think that
there was anything in the background except oops, in the

(28:52):
background was the Atlanta Falcons number four jersey that he
already had on him. He was ready to go like
and and let me just go ahead, just just so
we're on the same page here. I'm almost positive that
wasn't a Brett Farve throwback or even a J Feely,
which I believe Jay Feely wore number four for the
Falcons league. Can you fact check that J Feeley? I

(29:14):
believe he wore number four for the Falcons if I'm
not mistaken. If he didn't, will delete this whole thing
from the podcast. But the point is he was planning
on going to Atlanta. All right, they can let's go
live to our Did Jay Feely were number four for
the Falcons Insider lead to laugh the latest he did?
In fact, we're number four, and I do, in fact
have a Brett f throwback Falcons Jersey. See, but you're
not Deshaun Watson, and you want to know why because

(29:36):
you're not suspended for eleven shows because you went to
the grab lab too often? All right, So that's that's
the thing here. So it's all good. So so the
the whole idea of players going back to see their
alma mater, listen, great idea, and it's fun. It's fun
for everybody. I'm just gonna go out on a limb
and say, Deshaun Watson's not making the trip to Atlanta
to watch Clemson play Georgia Tech later on not and

(29:57):
if he is Wow, he has a zero ability to
read the room would not be ideal and some of
the heckling from some of the fans who have been
tailgating all day, uh, probably not the nicest place to be.
So there's that to look forward to. Jonas Knox, Two

But right now it is time to put a bowl

(31:49):
on this bad boy. It's called this How could you
not get to? These stories? Are there? Scraps? And for
that we turn it over to our executive producer, Lee
to Lap, who by the way, very confusing. I didn't
know that there was like a snowboarding outfit or a
jersey that came along with it. Police sent over a

(32:13):
picture to prove that he had a bread Farr Falcons
jersey at number four, and um, that's your snowboarding jersey.
I don't know why. Well, for one, I just thought
the green and gold just doesn't look great on the mountain. So,
I mean, you can find me, But I don't know.
I just thought it looked cool. What Falcons? Yeah, doesn't

(32:35):
look good on the mountain. Yeah, I mean you could.
You can spot, you can spot each other. Aren't trees green?
That's a good point. I don't I don't understand. So
it's just like, is it because you don't care if
it gets ruined? Yeah, that's kind of the I didn't
want to ruin my far. I'm not trying to piss

(32:56):
off Green Bay. God knows the people in Wisconsin to
listen to this show are still upset because how dare
I criticize, uh, you know, them going to lambeau Field
for some soccer game. But like the the old school
Falcons black jersey, it's tough to beat that one. It's
really cool. Like that one in comparison to the box
of Mike and Ikes that the Packers jersey is. Come on, dude,

(33:18):
like there's there's a difference in fashion when it comes
to those two. I would think you'd want to show
that one up and hide the Packer jersey. No, man,
I well, because I hardly get a chance to rock
a Falcons bar throwback, so that's kind of my my
time to do it. By the way, for those of
you wanting to know how big a fan of the
Green Bay Packers lead to lap is he passed out

(33:40):
by a fire pit in a robe and a plastic
little kids Packers helmet during the playoff game? Am I
telling Allily, Well, yeah they had lost, they got they
got eliminated. So but you did you did pass out
with that helmet on and a robe next to a
fire pit that you know this is true? Hey, look

(34:02):
what a way to go though, if you happen to
roll over too far, I mean, that's a hell of
a way to go. You imagine that rope like Lee
gets up to try and run away, and it's just
like a packer's helmet with flames, just trying to try
to get out of dodge all right, what do we
got today? Lee? Alright? Last week, Mike Lombardi was on
the pet mcafew Show and talked about how Kyle Shanahan

(34:23):
had wanted to uh pursue Tom Brady in his free
agency year, but was dissuaded from everyone withinside the building.
Um that's been talked about before that Mac Jones was
the quarterback that he wanted, and that Tom Brady was
also rumored, and there was some stuff out there. I

(34:44):
just I find it hard to believe that Kyle Shanahan
wouldn't have like a strong enough voice in that organization
that he wouldn't get the quarterback that he wanted. Like,
I just it seems a little odd to me, like that,
Kyle Shanahan. Look, if Kyle Shannon became available, he's getting
hired immediately. I mean Adam Gates got hired right after

(35:08):
he was let go by the by the New York Jets.
He got a job immediately. The idea that you know,
or let go by the Miami Dolphins, But the idea
that Kyle Shanny and would not have a strong enough
voice in the organization when he's the guy who's gonna
be coaching the quarterbacks up that that's the part that
seems a little odd to me, But who knows, Maybe
this is the way it goes. But again, you know

(35:30):
it's it's the Niners. You know, they've been flirting around
and kind of kicking the tires on quarterbacks for several years.
So maybe this is just another layer to that. What
else we got, Lee Jonas the Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship
is this new league had their third event over the
weekend in Thailand and uh, this one fighter had her debut.
Her name is tay Emery. She had a ko uppercut
in the first round very quickly, and her her celebration

(35:53):
included flashing the crowd. Now, she's also a former Australian
model and also played in the lingerie football Leak. Yeah.
Now when you say flashing the crowd, was she like
holding up like a round card, like like like hey,
we're going to the second round, Like what do you
mean for like flash like flash cards flashing or what
are we talking about? To off like climbed the ropes,
took her top off and raised her fist. Well, anybody's

(36:18):
seen the video. Um, definitely been a model, that's that's
uh all the all the key ingredients are there. Um yeah,
and uh look, you know, you get excited and uh
like remember Valerie Larreida. Valerie Larreeda's uh an m M
A fighter. She fought for Bellator and I think she

(36:39):
just signed recently with w W E. But she knocked
some girl out and then started twerking right after, like
really like over the top and uh but you like
look at some of her photos, you go, oh, it's
got a second career to look after her. This is
uh makes all the sense in the world now. But

(37:00):
here's my question though, if a guy jumped to the
top of the cage and flash the crowd, he gets
arrested on the spot, correct, like like like I would
think he gets arrested. Look the U those Blue Jays
fans you know now that you say the name Blue Jays.
This makes sense that the couple that was getting after
it a little bit that got you know, popped. And

(37:22):
even the A's fans who reportedly were you know, have
an open mic night up at the top deck at
the A's game at the Colosseum, they're like, they're looking
for those people to get arrested. She flashed the crowd,
and there's just no, uh, but we're good with that.
It's all good man. I'm not I'll, I'm not filing
a report like whatever anything. So it's so, I guess

(37:43):
apparently that's that's how it works. It's fine. I wouldn't
recommend that, though, next time you're snowboardingly, I wouldn't recommend
lifting up your Brett Farb Jersey to uh to flash
anybody either. All Right, it's been a fun one. Thanks
