this works. Uh. So we've got Baker Mayfield versus the

(01:34):
Cleveland Browns coming up this weekend. I know everybody's really
really excited about it. Do you see Baker Mayfield's T shirts? Uh,
the officially licensed T shirts to where he uh it
says on the T shirt off the it was off
the hook or off the chain, something like that. But
he's got a dog caller on the shirt because yeah,
well also he's not no longer, remember the Cleveland Browns,

(01:56):
And now he's off the chain. He's off he's got
the dog hear ye. My buddies, Uh they had this,
Uh it was like a jif for mean, whatever the
hell they call it. They it's like X rays of
someone's rip cage with that dog. Oh yeah, yeah, that dog.

(02:16):
You know what? You know what I saw on on Twitter?
I think it was PFF College their their Twitter account,
they did this thing for kJ Jefferson for his stats
and they were like he's got that hug and him
and I was like that doesn't. That doesn't sound good.
That's that's bad. Yeah, it's not what you want. Yeah,

(02:41):
thats uh. That is uh. I was assuming whoever did
that they didn't think about it a little bit longer. Yeah,
we've read it a couple more times. They probably should
ask J J. Jefferson before they posted that with this,
you know, his name, image and likeness. That's by the way,

(03:04):
I think the players collectively should push Twitter in these
other social media platforms to pay them a fee for
using their name, image and likeness. Well, I mean, I'm
just saying, yeah, well it's coming. I hope it's coming.
I hope they make all these social media sites have
to pay, and so these things turn into nothing. You

(03:27):
just want to do what you want, you want all
you want. All social media just completely vaporized by all
the stealing of people's name, image and likeness and rites
and all that. I just hope they all go down
and burning. It's there in the world. Is it's the
biggest scam content. That's how they survive. Like that's the

(03:51):
thing that I never understand from people who are like, oh,
the social media influence. I'm like, oh, that's cool, Like
does does does does it? Gets you like you get paid,
like we you sponsors off of it. I'm like, yeah,
does Twitter pay you? Does Instagram pay you? Because guess
what you TikTok? You are helping their model work, their
algorithm work without you. They're nothing, like they need you

(04:14):
to exist, and yet they're not paying you directly. Oh no,
they're helping you get Okay, Yeah, they're helping. So you're
saying that social media is like the n c A. A, Yeah,
they're they're using student athletes there create content. They're worse.
They're way worse. Their net is way bigger. It's worse,

(04:37):
their nets bigger. And I would say they actually create rules,
Like there's certain rules around social media posts, but not many,
like the n c A has a lot more rules
around student athletes, so it's a little different. I would
say this, at least they're getting an education in exchange
for what they're doing. You're not getting Jack squad from
social media. But what are you talking about? People learn

(04:58):
how to hashtag, they've learned how to you know, talk
and be uh, you know, passive aggressive. They've learned how
to speak in ways they would never say to someone's face. Actually,
like I think people I think there's just not um
you got that hog, hope, not what type of hog? Though,

(05:21):
a razor hog brown those tests. You gotta be careful.
One of the great. When I was on vacation, I
didn't go on Twitter. I didn't go on social media
the entire time. It was a glorious existence, I believe
it or not. You can't survive not needing social media.

(05:43):
Didn't didn't didn't check one single mention, not one hog,
not one hog mention at all on social media. Hogs. Yeah,
with a lot of that too. Yeah, it is true.
I spent most of yesterday not on my phone in general.
Like that's the other thing. Like just try leaving your
phone somewhere and then going through life. And I know

(06:04):
you may give some people anxiety, and that's what Apple
wants or Samsung, whoever the hell you have as a phone.
Just try it. Just just try this for me, if
you're listening out there, try doing it like you will
get through life, like it will. It will still go on.
Like we at one point in our lives we didn't
have cell phones and we still function. Just try it
for a little and we knew each other as people.

(06:26):
We did. You got to know your neighbors and stuff
like that. You know, you stopped looking down and you
looked up and said, oh, hey, how you do. How
are you today? Yeah? Who are you? I'm your neighbor.
How long have you been that for? You know? Ten years? Oh?
Really speaking next door the whole time, speaking of we
had a bonding experience with our neighbors last night, because

(06:51):
what does that entail? We had a big no, no,
not like them hogs, not not that that. Yeah, there
was a big s tarantula on it, like on our
front door. It was legit, like one of those bird
eating spiders. It was legit. It was Listen, I'm telling

(07:14):
you it was legit. Did you get a picture of it?
My son did. Man, it doesn't know justice. The video
of it didn't no justice. You ever held one? It was?
It was like that legit. It was like a buy
it in the pet store tarantula legit, and my neighbor
came and got it. Soft bodies you know, if like

(07:36):
you just drop them out of your hand, they'll explode. Yeah,
they just completely like explode. Really, your bodies are really soft. Yes,
you gonna be very delicate with them. So yeah, yeah, yeah,
we've had them yeah, they're uh, they're wild, man, I
was freaked out. Well, they just trying to crawl your
beer bottle. When they shed their skin, they us like

(08:00):
when they're when they're molting. It's it's crazy to watch
just the how they go through it, and just to
see them. It's the entire shell of them that goes away,
and they just they leave that shell and they just
continue on with I'm regretting that I even brought it up,
and I'm just saying it's it's an interesting bird. Listen.
If it was one of those uh those Venezuelan bird

(08:23):
eating spiders, those things, what's the man eating spider? It
was legit, What the hell are you Venezuelan bird eating spider?
Looking up? I need to look up. Looking up, Look
up a Venezuelan bird eating spider. They're crazy, Look up,
look look up Lavars tarantula Southern California. Then eating tarantula.

(08:46):
That's the one we saw Lavard. That thing looks like
I mean, yes, yes, holy cow, it's like a tarantula,
but it's like the size of my four Listen, I
ain't gonna go as far as forearm last last night,
but I'm just yeah, that's a big spider. You know

(09:08):
what it looks like, you know, because Halloween's coming up.
You ever seen those big fake ones people. It looks
like it's one of those big fake ones, but it's
actually real. Yeah, they're huge. Yeah, they they they are.
They're like it's like they have all the organs that
a person half like, that's how big their their back
end is, right, ractophobia all over again. The movie? Are they?

(09:29):
What are they? What are they? Yeah? Like what you
just said, Yeah that all of those Yeah, Racknophobia was
a good movie. By the way, was it a good movie?
Snakes on the Plane John Goodman, wasn't it? Yeah? John Goodman?
And yeah, only when you fly LaVar and that was fuel.

(09:50):
People say, I look like it's uh yeah, dragons on
a plane. It happens, they say, worm on the plane
when you go on, Okay, what did you worm? Kind
of pillar, old old three. You know, they mold their
skin and you know they go into cocoons and metamorphosized

(10:11):
and turned into moths. Sometimes, what did you do it?
What did you do with the spider? Huh? What did it?
They took it, neighbor. That was our bonding experience. Yeah,
they extracted it. They didn't extract so you called what
they do? No, I didn't call them. They saw Like,
First off, I was in bid sleep and I hear

(10:32):
all this screaming going on. My daughters are screaming bloody Mary.
So I jump up thinking that I have to go
save my household. Bloody murder or bloody murder, and I
had it right, Yeah, yeah, I don't. You know, we
don't throw bloody Mary's around and let I mean my
wife does, but not any anyway. Um, So I go

(10:56):
running outside and they're like, it was trying to kill us.
I was like, what what was trying to it? Was?
Was it? And then I went and looked at it,
and well it was a big one. Yeah. It was
the biggest spider I've ever seen that wasn't domestic. You
gotta get a picture of that and send it over
it it just the video of it doesn't do it

(11:18):
any justice, but I'll send it to you, like it's record,
the record the heat wave out here. He's looking for
some water once it is maybe like she's trying to
get trying to cool off a little bit. It's been
hot as hell. Yeah, it's really hot. I don't generally
complain about the heat. But we practiced yesterday and and
we we were we were at the we were at
the cusp of it turning all the way hot, but

(11:41):
it was still early hot. And and and it brings
back memories sometimes, man, Like I can remember that feeling
of like heat when you were about to warm up
and do your conditioning in the summer, and like that smell. Yeah, man,
let me tell you something that it brought back some
I was I wasn't that smell? Did you? Did you?

(12:06):
Did you have any teammates who had their foreheads would
always break out because of the helmets they would use.
All right, So I just thought because I had team,
I had teammates I had breakouts everywhere because of the sweat,
like on their necks, on their their traps, their shoulders,
their arms, you name it. Anywhere you get sweat, they

(12:26):
would have, you know, arms. Yeah. I remember Lenny Friedman
shouts out to my teammates, and I played with Lenny.
I remember letty Lenny's hairy arm ask used to get acne,
I believe I recalled correctly. Yeah, because I didn't there

(12:46):
were certain dudes I didn't want to grab on, you know,
in practice because they were sweaty and they had the
stuff on their arms. And yeah, anyways, Lenny is a
good Let me look about these arms, aren't that, Harry
come on the top part, you know? Yeah? Oh, like
the tricep parent, like the shoulder, like the shoulder and back. Yeah.

(13:12):
Well but yeah, they they used to get us some links,
some some some bagels when we used to play in
New York. You know, Lenny was Jewish. It is Jewish,
Lenny Freedman Jewish. No way, it's uh crazy Lenny Freedman.
There he is. Yeah, how about it. Congrat By the way,

(13:33):
congratulations Lenny Freedman, just minding his own business on a Tuesday,
ends up in the same segment with a Venezuelan bird
eating spider. How about what we're talking about here? How
about we're getting awards for the show I'm telling how
about that? I heard there's a lot of those bird
eating spiders in Oxford, Ohio? Are there? That's what I heard.
We should go investigame, I know that should be uh

(13:55):
book report should definitely get all that. All right? It
is too rose a cup of Joe here. Fox Sports Radio,
LaVar Arrington, Brady Quinn Jonas knocks for the year on
fs are you can listen to. This show is always
on the heart radio app outrageous. But this stuff that
you guys be insinuating and like playing around with, I

(14:16):
don't know. So it's so crazy. We want them home.
I can't even believe Berto did not get more active
in this conversation because this was right down his lane.
He seems tired this morning. He's just real quiets. Was
Michael Douglas on again? There was? But now he's checking
out vang Lavan, Glode Van Down, Claude Van Down and

(14:40):
some blood Sport. You know what I mean. That's what
a great movie. Hey man, you're boy for his Whittaker
he has he has like quietly been around in movies
for a really really really long time. Bro a really
long time. Good actor. He is a good actor. He's
very unique. He's better than good. I think he's great. Yeah,

(15:01):
I think he's pretty dope. Um he remember he was
the hustler in that pool shooting movie with god what's
his name? Um? Paul Newman was it with with Tom
Cruise where they played pool and force. Whittaker was the
he was the hustler. He's been in a lot of movies.
But yeah, he's been in a ton it's been a

(15:21):
lot of movie. Yeah, good for him. Hey, Lenny Friedman
for bird eating spiders, shots out shots out to the
bird eating. I mean, this is like we've run the
gamut on this segment. By the way, it's the Color

(15:42):
of Money. Was the name of the movie league? All right?
I mean, are we gonna burd That's okay. We're just
gonna call it the Color of Money, and we're just
gonna let that sit messed up. All right. It is
Two Pros and a Cup of Joe, I swear to God.
Coming up next, we're going to get into some NFL alright,
this segment, this is this is an important stuff here
in the NFL. We have got We've got a coach

(16:04):
who is trying to tell everybody not to worry. Don't
don't worry whatsoever, do not struggle whatsoever with what is
coming up right around the corner. We've got some revenge
and this coach is trying to dispel all of it.
We'll get into that for you right here on Two
Pros and a Cup of Joe on Fox Sports Radio.
Be sure to catch live editions of two Pros and
a Cup of Joe with Brady Quinn, LaVar Arrington and

(16:25):
Jonas Knocks week days at six am Eastern, three am
Pacific on Fox Sports Radio and the I Heart Radio.
I don't think so be a professional. It's two pros
and a cup of Joe here Fox Sports Radio, LaVar Arrington,
Brady Quinn, Jonas knocks with the here on fs are

(16:46):
uh We're going to get to later on this hour
and f s R. I are lots of stuff to
get to, lots of stuff to get to from the
tire rack dot Com studios here as we broadcast live
for you here on a Tuesday morning, and it spending
long Hauliday weekend. We've got people that have been traveling.
We've got all sorts of fun stuff. So that will
be happening about twenty minutes from now. Kevin Stefanski is

(17:07):
the head coach of the Cleveland Browns. He's going to
be seeing his ex coming up this weekend. The ex
is Baker Mayfield. Baker's got some T shirts made. He's
trying to tell everybody that he didn't say that he
was going to f them up, even though somebody heard
him say that. And he's got that dog. He's got
that dog in him and uh that too and uh.

(17:30):
Kevin Stefanski though, says, look, there's that's kind of overblown
when it comes to his knowledge of the Cleveland Browns
and what to expect as they get ready for this
game coming up on Sunday. Here was the Brown's head coach.
Baker's obviously a player that that we know well. He
knows us really well too in terms of scheme and
those type of things. So I think our players are

(17:51):
coaches have a really good understanding of his strengths. If
you were to kicking advantage, is it the quarterback that
you're familiar with or the defense that's amiliar with the quarterback. Yeah,
A lot of times I think it's overrated, uh, in
terms of they know that, we know that, they know
those type of things. But yeah, I mean he's a
really good football player and we gotta get to work

(18:11):
and preparing to plan. Yeah, so there's there's that between
Kevin Stefanski and Baker Mayfield. Do you think they like
each other? I think Baker likes him. I think he
hates everybody within that organization. Kevin Stefanski seems like a
really likable guy. I don't know why Baker wouldn't. I mean,
they shared some good moments together. Um, but you know, maybe, yeah,

(18:31):
maybe Kevin Stefanski's like, uh, you know, it's hard to
dealing with that guy. I don't know. Here's all I'd
wanted more like to talk about the scheme discussion because
one of the players in the Browns Deefen think it
was Miles Garrett or someone was had mentioned you know, hey,
he might know all of our stuff. But we got
eleven and gain eleven guys who who know Baker right

(18:52):
and know his stuff. So who has the advantage we do?
And I'm like, not really, dude, because because the quarterbacks
the one that has the football and gets to kind
make those decisions and as a greater impact on the game.
And I look at it and think, you know, you
might know Baker mayfield tendencies as a cornerback. If he's
not throwing your way, it's not gonna impact that play.

(19:13):
But he's always gonna know the tendencies and the scheme
of the defense and what everyone else is doing out
there and can adjust based on that. I mean, even
their calls like he's they're not gonna know the calls
of the Carolina Panthers. They're just they might just know
different blitzer, a different coverages that Baker doesn't like, but
they don't necessarily know the tendencies of what Baker is
gonna do within this offense with this team. You know,

(19:34):
the Browns are the ones that are gonna have to adapt.
And and if they say, I mean, I remember in
camp all the time you'd hear a few things for
the defense, will make calls, knew exactly what defense they're in,
knew exactly what called, you know, coverage, their in blitz,
They're in everything, and you can adapt from that. It
was almost not helpful because in a real game time
scenario that's never gonna be the case. And so that's

(19:55):
why you get so tired of camp because you're like,
come on, we want a different defense, different challenge, you know,
as far as how we want to play them, Um,
I think it's I think the advantage for sure place
there mayfield as far as the familiarity with the Cleveland
Browns defense in their scheme. It just comes down to
whether or not he's gonna be able to execute what
the Panthers are asking for with this group in a

(20:16):
short amount of time of being with the Panthers, Like,
I don't think that can be overstated. It's really really
hard to play quarterback in the NFL, especially when you
just got on a team and you're trying to learn
their terminology and how these guys play and you're gonna
make you know, decisions and split seconds and it's tough
to do so a fascinating to see how the game goes. Um,

(20:39):
you know, I'm not really sure about the T shirts
and all that. I definitely think that when you leave
the way that Baker Mayfield left, and under the circumstances
that we're surrounding him leading up to before he left,
there's definitely hard feelings. Like I would assume that there
would have to be hard feelings and and I would
think that and Stefanski would be on that list. You

(21:02):
can't put everything on gms and owners, you know, and
and and for what it's worth when you execute something
like that, generally speaking, most everybody needs to be on
the same page, from the head coach, the o C
to the general manager and even the owner that's a
former number one overall draft picks. So I would certainly

(21:22):
think that there would be probably hard feelings from Baker
Mayfield because for the simple fact that you just you know,
they treated you in a way where you didn't feel
like you were probably good enough, or you were wanted,
or you were appreciated, whatever it may be, that you
fall along the lines of of what makes you feel
like this is a revenge game. I mean the T

(21:43):
shirts only kind of you know, solidify that he does
have some hard feelings towards it. And if I'm being
honest as a defender, you know, I think about who
had who. If we're asking who would have the advantage
from my perspective, I would I would say the coach
is would have the advantage over the player, not the
player over the coaches. And and for the simple fact,

(22:05):
and now I will say this, they didn't have Baker long.
Baker had so many different coaches, so it's not like
they got the opportunity to get to know entricate details
of who Baker Mayfield may or may not be. How
many is he on? Now? Is you like the six coach?
It's like four or five? This would be my rule

(22:27):
would probably be five. Right, it was Q Freddie Stefanski
and then now but you had um Greg Williams there
for a short time, right, I mean I count I
count in the rooms. I count them. I had Robiski
my rookie year for half season. Yeah yeah, I mean

(22:47):
I listen. All I know is I I think it's
going to be a super super competitive game because I
think if Baker Mayfield is the person I think he
is from the the short amount of time that that
I was around him speaking with him, those guys are
going to rally around him. And if if I'm Cleveland,

(23:09):
I'm going to rally around the fact that I don't
want the rallying around uh Baker Mayfield to supersede or
overwhelm you know what it is that we're trying to do.
This is a good opportunity to get off to a
good start to your season playing against perceivably a very
winnable team. So I think it's gonna be super competitive

(23:32):
because obviously Cleveland's gonna be charged up to not let
Baker do what he wants to do in terms of
put the flag in the middle of the field at
the end of the game. And and Carolina is going
to support the fact that they got Baker the way
that they did. Uh, it was Mary Kay Cabot who
had to report out a few months back in which

(23:52):
she said one of the issues in Cleveland with Baker
Mayfield was he was unhappy with Kevin Stefanski's play calling,
felt like it didn't put him in a position to succeed, etcetera, etcetera.
That's in Baker Mayfield publicly disputed that and called her
out on social media, but she was adamant, no, there
were real issues between those guys. So do you think
Kevin Stefanski looks at this and says, I know what

(24:14):
his strengths are, I know how this guy plays. This
is where they're going to try and use him, and
that would be the advantage of the defense, you would think,
and enter the coaches as well too for Cleveland. Everybody
has their tendencies, you know, everybody. Everybody has their tendencies,
and some people's tendencies and their storytelling of what they
do physically, what they do mentally, um some some are

(24:37):
more pronounced than others. Some people are able to to
kind of mask it or or to hide it be
deceptive about it. But for the most part, you are
who you are. You know, the DNA of who you
are as a player, as the DNA of who who
you are as a player, Well, why don't why don't
we go through a list of players like Tom Brady
when we played in New England beat him. Um, we've

(25:00):
been going down the line if you want. I mean,
the hard ones are like a Jered Groff Matt Stafford
because obviously they're both playing for you know, different teams.
But if they played against each other, which did they
play against each other last year? I don't think. I
don't think they don't think. I don't think they did. Yea, Um,
but I just trying to think. I mean that did
Peyton with the Broncos play against the Colts? He did?

(25:23):
And I think that Indianapolis won that game. It was
a Sunday night game, Um, and I want to they
didn't lose many games when Peyton was Yeah, I'm almost
positive Indianapolis won that game. Likely if you could look
that up, I think it was not going to easily.
By tomorrow show he'll have that. I mean, I I

(25:43):
don't think that's too much. There's no way. Yeah, there's Oh,
he's a justin this chair. He's not even there the keyboard.
By the way, they did. The Lions did play the Rams.
They were in Los Angeles last year they lost. Yeah, well, yeah,
of course, so that doesn't really help our discussing both
quarterbacks are with other teams. I mean that in that case,

(26:05):
it was probably just the fact that the Rams are
such a better team. I mean Jared Goff twenty two
of thirty six to sixty eight, one touchdown, two interceptions.
I mean, New England almost beat Tom in Tampa Bay.
It was a close game, right if I recall correctly. Yeah, no,
if we're playing horse shoes and hand grenades. Probably Nick Folk,
Nick Folk, you know that that's who that was. Nick.

(26:28):
It wasn't it Nick Folk who missed the kick for
New England? They didn't the attempt like a fifty three
yard or something like that. And uh in New England? Yeah,
just my yeah, how's Lee coming on the Oh he's
not even trying. He's still going over his fantas. In

(26:48):
Indianapolis they did lose. I remember where I was when
that game happened. By the way, We're working in Las Vegas,
and I was walking through a casino and I was broke.
I couldn't afford to gamble, so I sat at a
slot machine, hoping that the waitress would come around with
three beers, and I kept like money in the machine,

(27:08):
like I was still playing. But my plan was I
was just gonna play the penny slot, and oh yeah,
I got like two beers. Great, and then I just
cashed out and only lost like twenty cents and then
went over and got cash back. I was broke. I mean,
here's the hard thing is they beat them the following
year to start the season. But then the issue is

(27:30):
I think they lost them in the playoffs that year
in uh indian and Denver. Yeah does that sound right?
I don't Did they play in the playoffs? Yeah, it
would be there at twelve dude. That's all saying like
Peyton won a lot of games with Denver. They didn't
have a bad season. There was more. They just can't
get over the hump. And he was only there for

(27:52):
four years, and he had a hell of a run.
Man for four years. Only four years. They relaxed man,
and some of us didn't played that long. Well, now
he went four years. It's just it's it's funny because
Jim mur say in in Indianapolis could not get rid
of him fast enough, like he's got the neck issue,
and uh, you know, they had Andrew Luck coming in. Yeah,

(28:13):
I mean it wasn't like. I mean, Luck was a
generational talent and now he didn't make a generation and
let an organization so well, I mean Andrew Luck have
to hang him up. I mean, how many? How many
years did he played? Not long? Would you Luck? Yea
like six years? Seven years? It was even that. I
don't know, it wasn't long. He didn't play a long time,

(28:34):
but I wasn't long, got paid, made some money. It
was Lee looking up the Yeah, I don't know, and
he looks at us and smiles. And six years played
six years technically was on the team obviously in Seen,
but didn't play that year. By the way, is he
the first human being in the history of the universe

(28:54):
to look like a B. Lincoln but sound like Andre
the Giant? Andrew? You think he sounds like Andre the
his voice? Do we have any do we have any
like cuts of Evan Shrew Luck talking? I mean, Lee,
Lee can put that together. I'm sure like that is
about together. Yeah, that'll get done here. Do we not
have these drops at your disposed? I feel like this
is a bit used to do a wild I don't

(29:15):
that's an easy one. I don't, I don't do bits
Andre the Giant wha, yeah do you think about the game?
And yeah, you think he still got his mouth piece
in a walrus. There you go. That's what it is

(29:37):
right there, That's what it is, all right. It is
Two Pros and a Cup of Joe. Here on Fox

I don't wrote your hooks up, Burt toe throt, your
looks up. I don't get why we're doing this. I

(31:04):
don't get why we're doing That's exactly how you sound.
That's a great impression. Thank you, Thank you. You know,
I just try well listen, you know, I mean on
impressions right now. Yeah, but you couldn't do Charlie Batch.
Charlie Batch, you couldn't do it. You can do Bucky Lars,
you can't do Charlie Batch. Come on, man, I would

(31:29):
need to be able to practice a little bit because
I don't want to like you to get back to okay.
Can we give you like an hour to practice during breaks?
Can you have it ready during the b Q News. Yeah,
this really should go before because it's kind of country.
It's kind of like it's kind of like this, Hey
you do I can't do it. I can't do it.

(31:50):
I can't do it. Just save it up, practice it.
I think we need to play some video clips during
the breaks and then you can you can eat out
the hair his voice in my head now that I
can't get about it. I just can't do it. A little,
Chuck Batch. It's just too deep of It's like a
real deep uh Still Valley, Pennsylvania accident. But I can't

(32:12):
get it. Charlie Batch. How long did he play in
the league? For fifteen years something like that and got
some starting starting Detroit, Detroit? Right? Yeah? I think he
started for a little bit in Pittsburgh, did he? Yeah? Yeah,
good for him? And who knows, maybe an hour from there,
you know, he's from there. He might have he might

(32:34):
be impersonated on the air by the think All right,
it is a two pros and a cup of Joe
here live from the tire rack dot Com studios. Coming
up top of next hour. We do have an update
on one situation in the NFL quarterback so that'll be
happening here a little over ten minutes from now. What's

(32:54):
the next topic? Tonus? Right now though, right now though,
it's time for this after your sports recap happens, so
it's time to get the are report all right, So
I mean told Eddie Garcia, hasn't I as here like

(33:16):
to a fire away? On? Come on, Eddie, what are
we got? Well, I'm not happy about it, but uh,
as as you know, certainly LaVar and Jonas being here
in southern California, we are having excessive heat warnings. Uh
supposedly a hundred three today in Los Angeles. And I
woke up yesterday morning and found out that our air

(33:37):
conditioner was out. So then I got on the phone
to try and find someone to come out and they
are so I was told the first available appointment is
you gotta go get one of those space coolers. Yes,

(33:58):
so what's the plan? What did you What did you
go get? You? I've been gotten anything. You gotta listen.
You gotta go to home depot and you gotta get
with like one of those like polar dips where you
you put them in there like portable units, polar dips.
He's not in the idea, Rode LaVar, Come on, you
can't like he's gonna cause a polar Polar dips is
like a slang term for like something like it's like

(34:19):
a portable. It's like a portable unit the box fan
or the it's not it's not. No, that's when it's
not that you you fill it with water, yes, yes,
and then it pumps out cold air. Yes, it's kind
of it's kind of like a fan basically, and it works.
It was it definitely like get you through you You

(34:44):
might not be able to use it, like where it
cools your whole house down, but the area that you're
going to be in it all definitely cool that that
room down. I'm guessing those things are flying off the
shelves as well. I'll probably I don't know that. I'd
said they're like the polar dips. Polar dip. All right,
look dip, keep you cold, dip, polar dip. I love

(35:07):
the dip. I don't know. Yeah, let's see it. I
think I may have to go hang out of the
mother in law's place. I'm desperate. That might work. Is
that a good thing or a bad thing? Eddie, Well,
it's cools me off. It's a good thing. Drive around, yeah,
but see in your car, just drive around a little bit.
They got they got some at costcos it's not like

(35:29):
it's not um what are they called though, they're not
industrial strain. It's it's just a portable. I see you now,
you know you could do just get a bunch of ice,
carry them out with you, put in your pockets, hold
all over your body. No, it's far beyond that. Here
right now, it's pretty It's far beyond just putting some

(35:51):
ice to be gone a moment. Yeah, that's what I'm
telling you. I said earlier when when we get it
was like nine a m. And we went out. Yeah,
it was like nine am. And it was like, oh,
like are you kidding me? Yeah? You had a tarantula
walk up to your door and ask for a boot
please let me in? Like what do you like that?

(36:13):
That's how hot it like traditioning. It literally was at
the front door, Like my daughter was like, Dad, it
wanted to be saved. It with somebody's pet. Like, well,
I don't know what the neighbors did with it, but
God bless that tarantula. How was I was traveling back
from Indiana, Brady had any issues on a flight. You

(36:34):
seem to always get into some sort of an altercation
on a flight when you're out when calation, I'm not
an altercation that I witnessed things from time to time.
Uh No, Actually, um, it was really smooth, like both
both ways, heading up to Indianapolis to go to West
Lafayette and going to Columbus from there and back home.

(36:55):
I actually I didn't have any issues whatsoever. It was
one of the first times. What did happened to me
legitimately is I'm like, I'm I'm like kind of lost
my voice because you forget, like those stadiums are allowed.
I mean, it's not even like Purdue holds that many people,
but you're constantly That was like a four hour game.
I mean it took forever, but I was like constantly

(37:18):
trying to talk. It's like being at a club, like
you're like yelling just so people can hear you who
are two feet away from you. And so my voice
is still trying to recover from like baseball, the talking
and yelling that was done on Thursday night. I got
my back mola removed on Friday, and I did not
need to know that I still got stitches in my
mouth and uh, your mouth, you can't taste it. Pretty certain,

(37:41):
pretty certain there's an infection going on. Almost positive that
guy I can just tell something. Yeah, I mean doing
everything that I can, but they probably I was talking
to LaVar about this. They gave me some pain medication
that would have made me drowsy, and I just decided
not to take any I can't tell because, like you know,

(38:03):
I did not show. I mean you know which which
By the way, now am now I'm the lead in.
I'm the lead into you. Huh lead the people. The
people spoke. I don't have to tell you, like, it's
just it's at these two going back. I thought that
was interesting that I became you know, our show, go here,

(38:28):
go there, there's there's my I R right there show
for a Jona's knock show. No, but like you you
can't if you take some of that pain medication and
you're grogging. When I was wake up listen a few
weeks ago, right when my foot was jacked up, I
had to take a pain pill and that you saw
what happened you and Brady was he holding it down

(38:49):
until I came through to me, you're back that show.
I was like, oh, there he is. I woke up,
like what the hell. Fox Sports Radio has the best
