do it all. Yes, damn right, it sticks o'clock. It's
always six o'clock, especially in Western p A. By the way,
(01:03):
for anybody saying that I was hating on Western p A.
Kiss my ass, all right. I gave him the proper
credit they deserved. Carson Street, Pennsylvania. Just you just were
ignorant to I'm dropping on understanding of just geographically, Like
when you say West p A, there's still like West
p A, Like there's there's different parts of West p A.
(01:26):
You say Eastern p A. It's a whole another place.
I'm a Penguins fan. I've drinking and I drinking icy
light at the Igloo back in the day. I understand.
I'm part of the team. Understand Yeah, throw him up,
understand that. I'm just saying. I was just trying to
give you a little education on it. Ari is not
Ari is West p A. But area is not Pittsburgh.
(01:49):
You know what's crazy is we claim like Ferrell and
and and you know all Equippa. Those those are some
of the most legendary places of where some of the
greatest players of all time, even you know, places like
Beaver Falls where Joe Namath is from, um but we
don't consider them Pittsburgh. They're just there. It's West PA.
(02:10):
Just so you're clear, I claim Pennsylvania and Ohio. That's
the way I work. Yeah, but seeing even when you
say that, and I'm sure Q would even you know,
I'm not sure the politics of Ohio in terms of
geographically speaking. But like to say I'm Pennsylvania, that's that's
like you gotta define yourself, like are you a Western
(02:31):
Pennsylvania or you a Eastern Pennsylvania. Are you Philadelphia or
are you Pittsburgh. Pittsburgh and Philly don't like it's two
different places. We don't. We don't. It's not you claim
Pennsylvania only every so often. The Super Bowl, sure, Big
thirty three. There are a few things where the entire
(02:51):
state comes together and say, you know what, We're proud
of our players. But rocket Ishmael and the Missile are
are deaf that lead different than Curtis Martin and Sean Gilbert,
you know stuff like that. Like pitt is different from
you know, anyone who's you know, played at Temple or
whatever it may be. It's just different, man. So it's
(03:15):
just different Villanova, you know, the Westbrook Brothers. You know,
it's different. Let me tell you something. Whether you're Eastern Pennsylvania,
Western Pennsylvania, if you're in Dublin, Ohio, or Chillicott, this
no matter, no matter where you're at, we are broadcasting
live from the ti irac dot com studios. Ti irac
dot com will help you get there an unmatched selection, fast,
(03:35):
free shipping, free road hazard protection, and over ten thousand
recommended installers. Tirac dot com the way tire buying should be.
And it's a football Friday. Football Friday. Yeah, Pennsylvania Friday.
What your pa better than? Yeah? Care we goigball football
(03:58):
front right. Yeah, so it is football Friday and we
must take a look back. For those of you just
tuning in, Um, don't worry, You're not alone. There were
many people who probably couldn't watch the Thursday night football
game on Amazon Platinum or whatever it's called because the
l A Chargers and the Kansas City Chiefs did battle
(04:19):
from Arrowhead last night. It was the Kansas City Chiefs
picking up the wind, although if you're a degenerate gambler,
you picked up the wind because the Chargers, which may
have been a surprise to some people at that point
in the game, went forward on fourth down. They could
have kicked the field goal, would have been a short
kick they would have had on site it anyways, but
you know, the Chargers maybe letting people know, hey, why
(04:41):
not let's wear this close, let's go for the touchdown.
And and if you're a degenera gambler, you picked up
a pretty solid wind last night getting him. Plus for
you know about that is they ran a very similar concept.
I want to say, the play before and they they
pretty much came back to it and the defender I
can't think of who was, but they got fooled again.
(05:02):
I just was. It was. It was heartbreaking because I
was with the community and those who had Casey, oh
you did you had Kansas City, man, Yeah, that was
the backbreaker. It really was because I was thinking exactly
what you said. I thought, Okay, they're gonna kick the
field go here, and they have the on side. It
was over. I thought that's a win for Kansas. But
(05:23):
I did say one of my favorite bet though, was
the under which that did cash in that did hit.
So yeah, it's uh so, you know, congratulations for those
who had the Chargers plus the four you get a win.
But the story coming out of that game is the
health of Justin Herbert obviously took a couple of big
hits in the fourth quarter. At one point, Um probably
looked like he could have picked up a first down
(05:45):
if he had run for it, but just ended up
throwing the ball to the ground because his left side
was really banged up. And then right afterwards through that
laser that Dan Marino asked laser uh to pick up
a big first down on a fourth down on their
final drive of the game. But his head coach Brandon
Staley talked about his quarterback and his performance following last
(06:05):
night's loss. It was a tough game, and you're not
going to see a quarterback and any level of football
play tougher and do more for their team and will
their team, um to give him a chance than him.
There's nobody that can do what he can do. Nobody. Um.
He showed a lot of guts. He showed us what
he shows every day, UM that we're never out of
(06:26):
the fight, and he brought us back and gave us
a chance. It was just a tough NFL game and
he took some big hits and none of those big
hits had any impact on him bringing his team back
like he always does. So that was Brandon stalely talking
about Justin Herbert. He's gonna have a week and a
half before Obviously the or a little under a week
and a half before the Chargers play again, so they're
(06:47):
hoping that he'll be ready to go. We have no
official word on the injury, but how difficult is it
to throw a football if your ribs are that compromised
like his were last night. It's awful, man, I mean
it's it's awful. Like I told you, I did get
I did get shot up with no vacaine when I
heard mine. Um, just so you couldn't feel it for
that you know, four hour time span, um. Because it
(07:09):
affects your your twisting, your torque, your power, all that stuff.
And by the way, you're still gonna get hit and
you're gonna land on it from time to time. So
it's just it's it's one of the it's one of
those injuries that you can't see it. It's you know,
but it's something that impacts your job in a big,
big way. So it's stinks, man. I mean I remember,
like it was just hard to sleep because if you're
(07:30):
sleep like I, I can never sleep on my back.
You obviously can't sleep on your stomach. You try to
sleep on the side of the ribs are hurting like that.
Ain't gonna work and you guys try to sleep on
the other side. It's just it's it's a very very
um nagging injury that stinks. It really does. I feel
for him, you know. That makes me think of kind
of on topic but off topic, like how horrible is
(07:54):
it to have someone else in your bid when you're
an active football player. I mean, the the amount of
touch points of pain when you're an active player, bro,
like every other minute, like like two am, three am,
(08:17):
four am, please please, you know, like listen there, the
amount of like it's almost like if someone loves you
or somebody's like keeping your company, it's almost like they
can find the very pinpointed areas of horrible pain and
(08:38):
cause you the most discomfort. And not to mention yourself
as as you just mentioned, you you roll over the
wrong way, you know, like like you you you touch
your arm or you know, you you move your toe
where the blanket, Like something as simple as just adjusting
yourself in your blanket can send from amendous pain waves
(09:02):
through your body. Man. Uh, just sitting there thinking about
that about trying to sleep with bad ribs, like try
to sleep being a football player. It is painful at
times What was the worst injury to sleep through for me?
It was my achilles tenant when I like that brought
me to tears, like it hurts so bad, that tears
(09:23):
Like I wasn't crying as it like like it was
like it was so much pain. It had tears coming
out of my eyes. That was pain. That that was
some sickerious, scruciating pain, you know, after the days and
weeks after after that surgery. Yeah, I mean the ribs
(09:45):
were the ones that just stunk because like you're still
like functioning and playing, but you're like you're getting shot up.
You're taking like a drug cocktail just to feel better
to get through because I had um, I had a
shoulder issue that was dealing with that, Like I was
just I needed something to give it leaf too. That
was nagging. I mean like ever since I've had back surgery,
like I've had to sleep a certain way, Like that
(10:07):
just changed the way I sleep for the rest of
my life. So, um, that one probably stunk the worst.
But to LaVar's point, like lower extremity injuries stink, like
I remember when they were putting like the screws and
like little plate things in my foot and my left foot,
like after that surgery, I was like, oh God, this
thing throbs, and it's because your body has got a
(10:28):
foreign object inside of it and it's trying to figure
out what it wants to do. So I don't know.
It's tough, Like I would say. The back one, though,
has changed how I will sleep like I am now
a side sleeper. I can't sleep my back stomach nothing
the rest of my life is that ever going to
I did a fusion. I mean that I had a
(10:49):
smaller procedure just so I could try to come back
and play sooner because it was less invasive and you know,
less turn around time on rehab. But eventually need a fusion.
The fusion and limit your mobility. Correct, they just locking up?
It does? It shrinks to decompresses your spine, so listen,
(11:10):
it compresses your spot. Excuse me? Yeah, but thank god
you're jacked though. I mean that's the hard part. It's like,
that's that's even gonna change the way you go about
working out too now. Not what I heard yesterday. He
Brady was getting it in yesterday. I mean just like
I could hear the clanging and banging in the background. Easy.
(11:30):
Oh yeah. Jonas is a big clanging and banging guys
trying to get it in. Look, he's like Brady is
like one of those guys to where you know, like
people will put the chain around their waist when they
want to do pull ups, like Brady will put the
chain around his waist, and instead of going like one plate,
he goes three forty five plates, and just to be
a smartass, puts a two and a half on there
as well to just let everybody know, listen, anyway you
(11:52):
want this, I can make it happen, and then just
rips out like twelve three sets of twelve, drops down.
How's that sound like a good, nice little warm up,
and then gets out to the big neon. Uh, what
was how how are you aware of this? Did I
leave your voice that or something? Yeah? Yeah, it might
have left me a little voice note. Just just let
(12:14):
me let me know that what he was doing while
I was not doing it, which is always nice because
he knows that. That's that's I've even strugg got the
time zones right, but it's got the Pacific one right. Well,
you know, based on how that show was put together,
you probably did, uh you know, but you know that's
the magic of radio By the way. We do have
(12:34):
some results from last night's game. Some of the over
unders lead to laugh, has got has got some results
from last night? You want to play some some imaging
here we get a real fancy here on a Friday,
a little fancy friday. Here for some over unders on
a football friday. As we take a look back at
how we wanted time to put your money where your
mouth is. You know you life, it's over under all
(12:59):
right least, so into's fresh and everybody's mind. How do
we perform last night? You want to go one by
one here? What are we looking at? Yeah, we'll go
down the We'll go down to each one here. We
started with total points of fifty four where LaVar was
the only one to hit the under on that one.
Um we had hold on. LaVar gets credit and and
he's celebrated because he was negative. Brady and I were
rooting for offense. LaVar takes a negative approach, and now
(13:20):
we're gonna celebrate the sensible approach. You know, you guys
wanted offense, your offensive guys like I did defense. You know,
we tended to the air on the side of just
you know, sensibility. We were going to play defense. You're
gonna get defense on both sides too good defensive defense. Defense.
We have defense. We need defense, We've got Okay, go ahead.
(13:43):
Sorry that carried away well, Jonas, you and LaVar both
got uh it correct that the longest touchdown was over
thirty eight and a half from both Watson there from
Watson Jalen Watson, as well as a forty one yarder
from from Justin Watson. By the way, I think I
saw it was made the rounds on social media that
(14:05):
Jalen Watson worked at a Wendy's a few years ago.
I was pursuing his football dream. He worked at a Wendy's.
So how about it, Brady starved Wendy's commercials, there was
Jalen Watson on Thursday Night Football. I actually think you
actually saved his career based on how successful Wendy's is
uh and and his performance at Wendy's leading him to
Thursday Night Football. I have zero to do with any
(14:26):
of that, um, but still a cool story. And what
a night. What a night if your last name is Watson,
huh what m VP probably was somewhere laying down watching
the game on Amazon and a great night. By the way,
do you think the shawn a at a TV installed
(14:46):
on the floor when he's laying on the massage table
that flori and ceiling, that that is that is true.
He probably spent more time on us back a you
only need a tablet and it's a good point. Brady,
(15:07):
you were right then Patrick Mahomes would hit the under
un passing and rushing yards. We had at three sixteen
and a half negative the negative rushing yard actually, so
yeah to thirty four um on that one. And then
Brady and Lavarre, you guys both were right that Austin
Ekeler would hit the under at nine and a half
rushing and receiving yards. He only got ninety four. Are
you serious at rushing receiving? Okay, pretty good? Can we Uh?
(15:35):
There could be a stack correction on this. I'm not
willing to say that I'll accept the loss on that one.
There could be a you can't find two extra yards
the opposite direction, though, sons, God, they were that. That's
how good these guys are to set these lions, and
that's how good we are at calling them. But last
night it was a three point spread. It open at three,
(15:55):
end up going to four and then the over under
end up getting that down to what it closed two
and a half something like that. Yeah, I don't think
it stayed at theft four. I think I did that
down books. Um god, they got it right there. Um
what else? Lastly, you guys all thought it would hit
the over on Joey Bosa and Clue Mac with over
(16:17):
one of those not even close. Kali Mac got a
half a sec. So for the end of the week,
you guys, LaVar takes the lead, three to Brady. You
got to Jonas. You got one. Good job, Jonas, kiss
my Aslee about that. Good job Jonas on the year
so far. Yeah, well, this is the exhibition, so you know,
once we get to the regular season coming up here
(16:39):
next week, I think we're really gonna I'm gonna start
hit my stride. All right, so we got a couple
of exhibition games out of the way, really gonna hit
my stride coming up. And they don't blame me. Blame
that is the streaming in Amazon. Alright. I was just
gonna ask lead, did you a Roberto you guys watch
have any issues with a streaming? I actually know Okay, yeah,
I didn't notice any high speed internet, so yeah, I
(17:01):
just want to know why was it on locally in
something because because of their local team. Yeah, I think
it was on locally in Kansas City as well. That's
how they're doing it. Yeah, I think that's how the
local affiliates work for broadcasts at least. I. UM. Here's
the thing. There was enough people who commented about this
(17:21):
that I I was curious to hear your guys thoughts
because I wasn't watching with a sound the entire time.
It did seem like, for some reason, like the sound
was a bit off, like it didn't sound like a
normal broadcast in that regard that that's true. Actually, yeah,
we were talking about that too. The mix was weird, yeah,
which I think is a fixable thing. I don't think
that's that difficult to do. But I also know nothing
(17:42):
about it. I just like I'm on TV and I
hear them talking about it sometimes, so I feel like
that is a fixable thing. We turned off the surround
while we were watching Charissa Thompson. Seemed like there was
some confusion during the halftime show to where they didn't
really know when they were supposed to go and when
they were supposed to transition to a certain time. Think
and she seemed like she was a little bit frustrating.
(18:02):
She's one of the best there is as far as
directing a studio show and kind of piecing it all together,
and you could tell that there was some confusion with that.
So I don't know if there were sound issues um
for for everybody on the broadcast, but I thought Kirk
curb Street got better as the game went on. Al
Michael's is always solid. I'm happy for herb Street that
he's getting this opportunity, man, because I think he's been
underrated for a long time. I am too, man. I mean, look,
(18:25):
he's he's one of the best in the business, and
I think it's it just goes to show you, like
you work, your hard work pays off. I mean he has.
He has worked his tail off, like I always trying
to explain to people when I was in high school,
I mean I was meeting with him for like a
weekly award for his his radio show on ESPN Radio
back then at a flanagans Off Sawmill Room. Like That's
(18:47):
how I got to know Kurk curb Street and seeing
his you know, rapid ascent, which you kind of felt
like it was rapid back then, but you know, because
it was in the last you know what twenty years.
It's just it's cool. It's cool to see what he's
been able to make of his career as a broadcaster
and everything else. So pretty neat MoMA and then the
personal stuff he's gone through this offseason when was terrible.
(19:09):
So I'm glad he's in better health too. Uh it
is too pros and a cup of Joe here on
Fox Sports Radio Tuple of Our Got anything. I don't
want to interrupt you, okay, but I thought you were
getting ready. I don't know respect you know, well, I
mean I'm a big fan of Kirk churve Street for certain.
I mean, you know, we've had a lot of great
moments of sharing stories and stuff like that when he,
(19:33):
you know, interviewed me in college. So I'm a big
fan of kirkhurb Street though. I think he's just one
of those nice, genuine dudes. And you know, anytime it
can come across like that when when you're doing a broadcast,
I mean that's generally, you know, the greatest thing you
can accomplish, if you asked me, is being being that
type of person that can connect to the audience and
(19:54):
and and you feel as though he's talking directly to you.
I mean, Kirk Curve Street is just one of them. Guy.
I was like, man, you you always pull for him
because you think he's just just you know, he's a
really good dude. Yeah, that's awesome. Good for him. Uh,
it is a Two Pros and a Cup of Joe
here on fs are brought to you by Discovery. We
can talk about how complicated other banks make it to
redeem credit card rewards, or we can talk about how
(20:15):
we discover you can redeem your rewards for cash in
any amount of any time. I mean talk about amazing
learn more Discover I'm slash Redeem rewards terms apply right
coming up next here on Two Pros and a Cup
of Joe live from the tire rack dot Com studios. Uh,
there's a little bit of an issue for one quarterback
in the NFL, and maybe some hypocrisy going along with
it in the same exact quarterback room. We'll get into
(20:38):
that for you right here on fs are. Be sure
to catch live editions of Two Pros and a Cup
of Joe with Brady Quinn, LaVar Arrington and Jonas Knocks
week days at six am Eastern three am Pacific on
Fox Sports Radio and the I Heart Radio. Two pros
and a Cup of Joe here on FS are coming
up in about fifteen minutes from now from the tire
(20:59):
rack dot Com st videos. We're going to spread them,
going against the spread picks in the NFL lead to laugh.
Is gonna surprise us with five? We have no ability
to prep for these games. Lee's just gonna throw him
at us, and we got to make a call in
the air. So well, let's do it. Yeah, let's do it.
That's called balls. You thinking you think Brian Day balls?
(21:19):
Got balls? We got balls, all right, So we're gonna
spread them. Coming up fifteen minutes from now, You're dump
trump balls. Um so, did you guys hear Mike Martz's
criticism of Trey Lands following the game against Chicago. Um,
(21:43):
it was like terrible weather, Like give him the benefit
of a young player. So for anybody that hasn't heard
of these uh, Mike Martz had this to say. This
was courtesy of the thirty third Team. Mike Martz talking
about the performance of Trade Lance. I want their eyeballs. Yeah,
(22:03):
I've never seen anything about this kid. That was encouraging
at all. He really has to plan himself to make
a good throw. Uh. He's not a quick decision guy.
Everyody's shot in the rear about him being a mobile
guy making plays with his feet. He looked like a
fullback stumbling around trying to run the ball. To me,
I mean, he's not Lamark, you know, so I don't
(22:23):
know what he is. He's not a particularly a good
guy running with the football. And based on what I
saw to that, I mean he missed two guys completely
by themselves. I know it was in the rain, but
your quarterbacks do that when you make those throws. Um,
I know this. He can only go up, he can
only get better because you can't get any worse. When
he did today, I've never liked him. I still don't
(22:46):
like him. Um, I don't know. I'd like to know
what he does so well because he's not a great passer,
doesn't have good skills, takes a long time to set
himself and throw the football and miss z throws net
you know, and him on soon. Uh So. But Mike
(23:12):
Mart's uh probably will feel a little bit vindicated by
this because there's a video that is surfaced Trey Lance
following the struggles against the Chicago Bears. Um making it rain.
He's got strippers, he's got well, I don't want to
call them strippers there. You know, strippers are professionals. He's
at least got dancers. I don't see any polls or
(23:33):
anything like that. But he's making it rain. He's having
a good time. I just think it's a little funny
here because Jimmy Garoppolo goes on one date with a
porn star and he gets buried for it. I'm not
hearing a whole lot of people talk about this. I'm like,
are we doing We're gonna We're gonna play make things
even here. I mean we get is Jimmy g finally
gonna be vindicated that he's not the only quarterback who
(23:55):
likes to partake? And yeah, come on, I mean, what
are we talking about here? Nobody talking about Trey Lance
with strippers. But we made Jimmy Garoppolo going on a
date with a porn star part of the reason why
we should judge him the way we do and have
questions about his leadership. I could care less what guys
do in their free time, as long as you know
they come to work, do their job, that sort of thing.
(24:15):
I think that's the alarming stuff about Trey Lance is
he just he's so inexperience. There's not many guys who
played his few of games as he did in his
college career. And then we're impacted by COVID and just
his transition to the NFL. I mean, all those things
play play a part in it. So I just it's
disappointing to hear that he's not focusing on trying to
(24:36):
to get one in the win column. I mean, this
team is too talented, you know. I know those guys
and Kyle Shanahan and John Lynch their grinders. I mean,
they put too much into this, you know, to not
be focused on trying to get things back on track.
But you know, I don't know, LaVar maybe he needs it,
you know, maybe he needs that sort of uh, that
sort of environment or fun to get things going to
the back in the right direction. Maybe it's a slumpbuster form.
(24:58):
I don't know. I'll say this first of all, Mike
Marts that was funny as hell said s was funny
as hell. I mean Blowtorch. I mean, other than that,
he's hell of a QB gave him CPR and it
took the blowtorch towards him again. But but as it
(25:19):
applies to Tray Lance, I'm I'm confident in saying that
the I just think the belief is in is in
Jimmy Garoppolo man. And and I wonder if if the
(25:40):
forty nine is off Kyle Shanahan, which you gotta believe
he knows. You gotta believe that John Lynch, he knows.
And and let's just say for the sake of saying
that the the Jimmy Garoppolo, the Jimmy Garoppolo era finds
a way to continue on on this season, what does
(26:02):
that mean for the future. And I think that that's
what the biggest maybe debate or preparation has to be
in play. If Trey Lance isn't showing now signs that
he can be the guy at Starter, it's probably safe
to say it's not going to be a fairytale ending
(26:28):
to what his pro career is going to be. I'm
gonna just keep it a hundred percent of buck from
the hip. If he hasn't shown that he has the ability,
like like if people aren't sitting there like okay, you know,
his upside is still crazy. It's crazy what he could
possibly do. He shows glimpses, he shows signs like I
just don't I don't hear that being discussed. I don't
(26:50):
feel like people are tremendously high on him. And and so,
now where does that leave San Francisco, you know, because
they're not going to make Jimmy Garoppolo the long term
solution to this team. It's not like, oh, we made
a mistake, we were gonna try to trade him, he
was out of here, we drafted high data dot this, that,
so on and so forth. That's not where you're at
(27:10):
with things. So what's next. They're probably going to have
to figure out how to unload Jimmy G, how to
unload Trade Lance. At some point, they don't have to
unload Jimmy G. I mean, Jimmy, he's only a one
year deal after the series free anyway, Well, there you go,
there you go hard. The hard thing is what you
gave up to go get Trade Lands. And that's why
I still firmly go back and and and we'll just
(27:33):
say that wasn't their intent when they traded up. I
don't know that their intended. I should say their intent
wasn't to get trade lance. It was to use that
as trade bade for another team, and I think that
team was Green Bay to go get Aaron Rodgers and
try to get into San Francisco. I think when that
whole conversation was happening, that was what that was all about,
because you find yourself in a scenario where it sounds
(27:56):
like the front office is highering trade lance and the
head coaches and based on a one not a good look.
But look, no, you know, I'm not gonna judge this
book by the first chapter. No, it's a monsoon. It
was a monsoon. Um, there are planning against jonas Is
Chicago Bears, which I mean at this point, mattiebra Flus,
maybe it could be the you know, it's it's the
next Dicka, you know, and all of a sudden you
(28:17):
got the eighty five Bears, a reincarnation of that. So
I'm not I'm not. I'm not gonna make too much
of just one game. It is a little bit alarming.
If this doesn't work out this season, know what happens,
I think you you could have a fracture between Shanahan Lynch.
You've got Jimmy g moving on, and then it's what
do you do with Trey Lance? Do you just buy
into this for another year or two until it doesn't
(28:38):
work out. I was just gonna ask you that if
you think this causes friction between has to the front
office and and Kyle Shanahan, because now Kyle Shanahan looks
at him and says, we had a Super Bowl roster
and we blew it at the one position we can't
blow it at. And if it's true that Rogers was
plan a, mac Jones was planned b you bay eastically
(29:00):
went all in for planned C and uh, he's hanging
out with strippers post monsoon loss and getting buried by
Mike Marts. So but again, maybe a slump buster. That's
a fair point. You know, some people need to do
certain things to cope with losses, and they hand the
spars differently. You know, there's nothing wrong with the slumpbuster.
I hear you're a lot lizards? Yeah, what's that on
(29:24):
the air? By the way, love lizard. A lot lizard
is one of the it's all TI. It's really an underrated,
underrated term. Uh, A lot lizard. Oh man, there is Roberto,
(29:46):
there is that's that's Roberto. Al right. It is two

We'll be back on the air coming up Monday, six
am Eastern Time, three o'clock Pacific. But right now it
(31:12):
is time to get surprised. It is time to pull
our you know, have some guts here on the national stage.
As we look ahead to the NFL this weekend. Lead
to Lap has got some games. We don't know which
games are gonna be. He's gonna give us the point spread.
We gotta make a call on the air, so let's
spread him lead the Lap. Who are going with? All? Right,
(31:33):
you guys, it's the debut of Brownie the Elf as
the Jets traveled to Cleveland, where the Browns are six
and a half point favorites. Brady, what do you got?
Oh gosh, um, I guess I'm gonna lay the points. Although, Fellas,
that will warn you. Joe flaccoed his career is like
seventeen and three versus the Browns, so he knows the
fig or two about how to beat him. I don't
(31:55):
feel great about it. I feel like that's kind of
too much for a Brown's team that, like, let's be honest,
then to have a lass second comeback victory in Carolina
last week, so alway the points. Don't feel good about it.
I'd think Cleveland will beat the six points. Say Cleveland
in this one. I'll take the Jets plus six and
a half. I'm feeling a back door, you know what
(32:17):
I'm feeling. I'm feeling one of these one of these
feel last night. Uh probably asked that question a lot
of mornings. But here's here's what I would I would say.
I look at this and I go say, Cleveland's up
thirty to seventeen. Yeah, late touchdown, Hill, Flacco wheeling and
dealing against you know, a secondary that's kind of laying
(32:39):
off a little bit. I just I feel like there's
an opportunity here. I had way too many points. And also,
by the way, the fake spike by Jacoby Brissette, he
knew what he was doing, correct, Get so all right,
I'm gonna go with the Jets plus six and a half.
Because Robert Salo has got a red ass, and I
don't want to I don't want any more receipts on
behalf of Robert Salo in this show. What's Next? Lead
(33:00):
a bunch of players on the injury report. Here we
got the Bucks traveling to New Orleans. The Bucks are
two and a half point favorites. Brady, what do you uh?
Brady struggled versus the saying, since he's been a Tampa
Bay buccaneer, I feel like this could be it though,
right um, maybe he's he's turning the tide. Their defense
(33:21):
looks so good in week one versus Dallas, I am
going to I'll go ahead and lay the points. I'm
gonna go with Tampa here. Wow, Wow, lav What are
you going with New Orleans? Where to win? Oh? Money line?
You think they're gonna win? Body line plus? All right?
Even need the points? Walk up the stick sports book
(33:42):
and say, hey us Jamison some money. You know, Lee,
I've got a rule in roulette where when I'm walking
through a casino and I see it hit black a
bunch of times in a row, or read a bunch
of times in a row, I know I always there
are some people that are I always go the opposite,
now that the law of averages don't really apply to that,
(34:04):
but I still do it anyways, and I'm gonna do
it here. They've lost sixth straight to the New Orleans Saints.
I think this is where they get back a little
bit of revenge. I'm gonna go Tampa Bay minus the
two and a half. Oh yeah, all right, For the
first time in two years, the Lions are favorites at
home against the Commanders. Brady, what do you think on
this one. I'm gonna go with the Commandos. I'll take
(34:29):
the two and a half points. They might need it.
I think it's gonna be a close game. When I
saw this slide, I was like, uh, pretty even teams
probably should be closer to pick up maybe, But that
being said, I think we've made a lot of the
back door cover again by by Detroit. They they're the
king of the back door cover, by the way, dating
back to last year. I'm gonna go ahead and take
the two and alf points. In Washington, I like what
(34:50):
I saw from Wentz and Dotson that Penn Stater we are.
I enjoyed seeing that in week one Washington is going
to win, so let's go straight up again. Yeah, I'm
taking the Commandos too, all right, it is something feels off.
This could I mean Detroit could go out and completely
wipe the floor with them. I don't see it happened.
And last time they were favored, they got shut out
(35:11):
a couple of years ago. I'm gonna go ahead with
the Commandos here. We're going commando on the Commandos, alright.
The Raiders. The Raiders are hosting the Cardinals. Raiders are
five and a half point favorites. Brady Um another one.
I don't feel good about it. The Cardinals are banged up.
Jonas keeps trying to create a riff between Kyler Murray
(35:32):
and Cliff Kingsbury. Who knows if there's anything to that.
I'll take the five and a half points, though, I
don't think they're as bad as they looked versus the
Can City Chiefs in Week one. I'm gonna keep up
in consistent, taking Arizona four to one on the money line.
There we go, all right, plus one. So you got
a stick sports book, you lay a hundred dollars, you win.
(35:57):
I'm gonna go with the Arizona as well too. Maybe
I'm more high on them than a lot of people are.
But I just think that's a lot of points. The
Raiders didn't look all that hot last week. Derek Carr
three interceptions. Feels like Arizona has got an opportunity to
bounce back here and uh and who know, and if
they don't bounce back, I think that my my feeling
that there's a riff between you know, Kyler Murray and
(36:19):
Cliff Kingsbury is vindicated. So I'll go with the Arizona
in this spot. Last one here fellas Sunday night football,
the Bears had to Lambeau where the Packers are nine
and a half point favorites. Brady, Oh, you wait at
the points? I mean you don't even think about this.
I mean Aaron Rodgers owns the Bears, and in particular
Scames and Lambeau. So I don't think twice about this. Yeah,
(36:42):
I look at you on this one. I agree with that. Yeah,
so you like green Bay? There? This the night and
a half? All right, you know what, take the Packers
minus nine and a half. There's no possible way that
(37:06):
Aaron Rodgers, after what happened last week and all the
stations and say this, look at this batchup we've got
the Packers either of the half pot favorites of the
nine and a half. I put nine and a half,
Jack Daniels, do you know Eric that spelled backwards. We'll
(37:32):
look at that. But I get the ruf um I
am going to take. I will definitely take the Packers
here minus and nine and a half. I don't see
any way possible the Bears go in, uh and and
keep this game close. I think I think this is
going to be a statement for Aaron Rodgers. They're gonna
want to put on a show, and he's gonna want
to remind everybody that he runs that division and has
(37:53):
for several years now. So there's that, uh and the
fact that it's Sunday night football. Who the hell knows
what kind of condition lead to it's gonna be in
when when he gets here Monday morning, I mean hammered.
He will be absolutely hamper. I mean true and falsely. No, man,
I'm going to be taking it easy, right right. Maybe
a little pregame, yeah, a little pre game, little pregame.
(38:17):
