way tire buying should be track. Okay, come on, get

(01:28):
fired up, man. So it's done. Like, lift one of
those tires, I'll flip the tie. Ti iraq. You guys
are flipped tires as a workout. Yeah, is it work?
My wife did it. I couldn't do it. What do
you make We're a cross fit. She was a cross
fitter and they had to do that big old tire

(01:51):
and I thought I could do it, just step to
it and do it. And there was a whole lot
more of technique and and muscle training that I needed
to take place on my behalf to get it. My
back was like, uh, um, you really think we're gonna
do this? Better remove yourself from under this tire. I'm

(02:13):
not really going to do this, you're you're back out
of conversation with you. It was like no, sir, yea
Very quickly it was like, listen, if you want to
make pain for me, I'm gonna make pain for you.
So that's I would love to hear. Does your body
have a conversation with you every day? Like a different
body part like my elbow and my hip is having
a conversation right with me right now. What's what's your

(02:36):
elbow saying? My elbow is is not not happy with
me right now, and my hip is just kind of
like I don't know why you decided to sleep this way,
but I didn't like it either. My elbow is sitting
here telling me that if if you don't ice me soon,
I'm going to give you more pain. So you better

(02:57):
make a good, good decision on this one. So yeah,
I'm just picturing your elbow with like someone drawing a
face on it then talking to you. I don't like
people do it as a kid like a hand puppet. Yeah, exactly.
Every once in a while I can see the face
on my body parts looking at me like are you

(03:18):
being serious? Let's get real here, Like that was thirty
years ago that you in your mind what you were
thinking you could do, you actually could do it. Like,
just can you guys already think long term what you're
gonna need fixed? Like years from now, I'm gonna need this.
I'm gonna need like whether it's a knee replacement, whether
it's another back surgery, Brady, whether it's think yeah, so

(03:41):
like you've already identified this is this is, I mean
back knee. I've got to have a probably eventually my
my right hip. It hasn't been issue of of late,
but there's got some issues going on now. I literally
cannot tell whether or not this is gonna sounds so bad.
I Gever, I was saying this if I have a
heardi or not, Like I feel like I might have

(04:01):
a hernia that rap, yeah, because like it's it's been
for so long and I think I did it while
lifting and I'm trying. I'm like, I haven't gotten the
doctor anything to figure it out because I keep thinking
like if I don't do certain things, it doesn't hurt.
But it's been pretty constant now for about six months.
Like you see, do you see something that kind of
popping out? I kinda not really, I don't know. That's

(04:25):
why I've kind of like laid off. I'm not doing
anything about it. But it's been I've been in pain.
I haven't been able to do certain like certain lifting
exercise because of it. I had terminal hernia. Didn't know it,
so for all these years I had it, and then
it was growing. I had it from birth. Ok, it
was just it was just accumulating scar tissue. And by

(04:46):
the time I got to my freshman year of college,
my my sophomore year, which is arguably well I'm not
it's really not, but that was when I won defense
player a year but in the tense, but every single
time I touched the ground, it felt like somebody was
blowing a blowtorch across my Pelvit's every single time. You know,

(05:07):
there's a place in d C you can have that
doneee if you want, you gotta pay for you. When
they removed the scar tissue from my my um my
area of place that they that I will leave nameless
for radio just because I don't want it to sound inappropriate.
You can say, yeah, you could say my growing downstairs bathroom.

(05:30):
I mean that's the thing that's where your herney is
usually are right, and well, this was and and um
and the nether region. Yeah, it matches with it matches
with your no no no, in your and your pack.

(05:52):
They greved it from your pack, but it rhymes with
your pack just that. And so they said it was
like as of like a tennis ball. That's how long
it had been building up. It's like setting. You're carrying
that around in there the whole time. By the way,
I'd kill for that comp I tell you so, I

(06:14):
don't know what you're complaining about. Yeah, at least at
least you can claim some sort of size there. Fall.
Please don't take what you can get. Um. Here's I
have a question, though, Brady. If it's not a hernia,
what else could it be. I don't know. It's a
good question. I really haven't. You know, it hasn't been
that big of an issue for him to go get

(06:36):
checked out. But to answer your initial question, yes, there
are some things that if that one might to the
details of this, because I think laure and I talked
about this. There's an episode of Deadliest Catch where a
guy gets an instant hernia trying to pick up one
of the crab crates or whatever they call him. The
baskets felt felt a pain and they showed it on camera.

(06:59):
It literally was a golf ball protruding out of his
skin and it was all black and blue instantly, just
like it was disgusting. But it's your muscle. It comes through, yeah,
come through like it just like through your your wall
or whatever. I wonder if they still do the same
procedure for direct because then they got like they have

(07:21):
to insert like a mesh so that that you know,
whatever was that was protruding doesn't protrude through anyway. At
It's like scooping out goldfish. Yeah, I'm just saying that
I not salmon. That is That's true. You know. Sorry,

(07:42):
I was projecting there. That's most my fault. But you
are right on the on the last one there, all right.
It is two pros and the Cup of Joe. Uh.
Speaking of injuries here, you guys, you guys want to
hear uh the status of one to a tug of Iloa.
He is still in the concu SHO protocol. The Dolphins
are looking around who's gonna start for corps at quarterback

(08:05):
for them this week until Mike McDaniel, the head coach,
updated the media on the status of tah and where
they're going in what direction at quarterback. When talking about
this week and playing, I don't see him being active
and I'm not gonna I do not plan to have
him play. This whole um process is a little tricky,
and today he's just getting back to playing football for

(08:27):
the first time in two weeks. You know, again, I'm
not trying to get ahead of myself and um, think
about the Z component. I'm worried about A, and A
is getting him on the field and having throw a
football and being around his teammates. That's what today's step is. Man.
The outlook on this team is a lot different than
the West three weeks ago, huh, Like they were the

(08:49):
talk of the NFL and now they're scrambling with Skyler
Thompson as their quarterback going into this week's game. So
I was gonna say, like, this is one of those
teams that with the way they started and the way
they were going, I mean, you you could have maybe
said they were gonna be able to compete with Buffalo.
And now I'm like, I don't know what the rest

(09:10):
of the season is gonna look like. I mean, but
but by the time two it gets back, which obviously
isn't this week, and you know, you you have to
make the case. They have the Viking's coming at home.
It's probably an l. The Vikes are playing really good football,
and now that's that's three in a row. So I
just it's crazy to think that this is a team that,
after they beat Buffalo, I'm looking at going that team

(09:34):
is maybe as as good as there is right now
in the a f C. And then now the past
three weeks, you see their defense has gotten exposed. They
have not been as good as I thought they were
gonna be. I think they're having a hard time matching
up with Justin Jefferson and Adam Feeland this week. They
haven't been able to stop the run overly well, which
kind of was an issue. Their offensive line had some problems,
which you know, only got more exposed once two was out.

(09:58):
And outside of some the big passing plays to Tyreek
Kill and Hieland Waddle, like that's not there anymore if
you don't have a quarterback that can get them to football.
So it's it's all all of a sudden become a
this is a three note team that could be competing
for the conference two now three weeks later, going, I
don't know what to expect I mean, they do have
an easy slate of the schedule coming in starting week seven,

(10:21):
So you'd assume, like Pittsburgh, right, if that's at home,
we'll see if t J. Watts back, you know how
Kenny Pickett's playing. Then you go at Detroit, at Chicago,
then to Cleveland before the bye. You do have a
series of games that they should win and they should
get back on top here. But this is one where
I look at it and go, hey, man, Minnesota minus
three last time I checked minus three and a half.

(10:43):
I'll lay those points like that's that's money in the
bag right there. To me, I just wonder if I'm
sure I'm asking the same question that I guess most
Layman's are are probably wondering and asking are they doing this?
Because they they dropped the ball into it the first time, Like,

(11:06):
there's probably the possibility or the chance that if what
happens what happened didn't happen within the Bengals game, you know,
or excuse me, the game before well, I don't know, Yeah,
put tea like this, if they had handled the first
one properly, I just wonder that would be in this

(11:29):
position because now you you I'm just wonder how long
are they going to take before because you gotta be
looking at to it like, yeah, he looks good, he's
moving well, he sounds good, everything is good. But the
moment he gets touched, we're gonna be in the same
situation that we were in before. And the one thing

(11:51):
you probably just don't want to have to deal with,
which now becomes the big I mean, how big of
a headache is it if to suffers another concussion? And yeah,
for certain, I just I just would would be curious

(12:12):
to know how paranoid the medical staff is and how
I mean, maybe maybe the coach isn't so much because
it doesn't fall on him. But as you guys have mentioned,
his season that started so well that had him being lauded.
He could have possibly been up for Coach of the
Year with the way the team was playing, and if

(12:35):
they continued on that trajectory. He even said, Mike mc
daniel said yesterday that there's a there's a real possibility
to it could be cleared of his concussion protocol could
clear everything this week, but he still would not put
him in that spot to play this week. So even
though he would clear it, he doesn't feel like it
would him, which is that is based off of the

(12:57):
reaction of what happened in the second one, because let's
be clear, he didn't he His way of talking about
it and handling it with the media is totally different
now after the second one, like the first one, is like, look,
I trust my staff data, I'm not a doctor. They
cleared him, so I played him. How would you guys
feel as players if you were cleared of the concussion

(13:19):
protocol but your coach said, I'm still not sending you
in even though you cleared everything. I'm not comfortable with it,
not said, you'd have a one on one conversation with
your coach and you'd have to understand where he's coming
from and why he'd say that. I think for me,
I just look at him and say, look, it's you know,
it's it's my body. I ultimately understand what I can
and cannot endure and what I want to put myself through,

(13:40):
and I want to go play, and if something happens again,
we can have that conversation. But you know, let's I'm
gonna be more mindful of getting rid of the football,
you know, when when something's not there, and living to
play another down. Like that. That is something that I
can't remember which quarterback coach said it at one point,
but it's real, man, the guys are quarterback, it's real.

(14:02):
You You're I don't want to say you're always defenseless
out there, but you are not a player who's out
there head hunting. You know, you are the hunted always,
and so there is a certain idea of live to
play another down, you know, like is this team? Are
the Dolphins better off with you knocked out for a
couple of weeks because you scrambled around and made a
big play one of these times, but the next week

(14:24):
you try doing it, you get knocked out with a
concussion and get hurt, or they better off with you
hey throwing it incompletely moving on the next play. Maybe
you pump in the next series you're back and you
do throw a bomb for a touchdown, like you you
kind of you get to an older part of your
your career, and I think you see older guys do
that when they learn how to play from the pocket.
And yeah, you know they might have some three and

(14:45):
ounce and they might throw some footballs away, but if
you look at the durability and how long they're playing
it how long they last, Like that's the key to it,
Like that's how that game has won and lost that
I mean, look at how much protection these quarterbacks are
getting right now with the rough in the pass a
rule and to play on dera car Like why would
you ever want to leave the pocket? And in both
those instances for Toa, he was outside the pocket and

(15:08):
some of it was by designed by the play. But
you know, you can make the case he's holding onto
the football little too long, you got I think that's
part of it. You gotta show him if he gets
another concussion, like within the time frame of him coming back,
that's it. Like he's not coming backwards. They're not going
to put him back out there for the rest of
the season. Tell you this much though, Like after this
week they have a four game stretch. They could win

(15:30):
all four of those, so they could be like seven
and three going into the by. If they get on
a roll and maybe you know they'll have Houston coming
out of the bye that that gets into eight and three,
then they've got a ridiculous finish. It's that I think
four of the last six on the road at San France,
at l A, at Buffalo, they don't. They basically leave

(15:50):
for Thanksgiving and then then Daddy doesn't come back until
the Christmas until they play Green bat like seriously, like
that that's there, that's their schedule. And then they come
back to host Green Bay that you're at New England,
that you finished with the New York Jets, and those
are some long trips to there at at San France,
and so they would probably probably yeah, yeah, that's all right.

(16:12):
So this is we get to watch this whole thing
play out. And then Skyler Thompson, who was the talk
of the preseason. He was the the preseason m v
P if you're anybody to watch preseason football. Uh, he's
for the Dolphins. Yeah, yeah, he was. Everybody was raving
about him. And to your point you mentioned this earlier. Uh,
the line for this game, according to Draft Kings, Minnesota

(16:32):
still in a three and a half point favorite at
Miami this Sunday. So our friends listening, you know what
I'm gonna do right now, I'm gonna go drop the Yeah,
the North Hills, Yeah, drop three and a half to
watch the Vike. He's coming here and raw, man, I'm
telling you, wait, should that number be a little higher.

(16:54):
It's Yeah, it's a little a little disturbing. It feels
like they know something like although the other side, Look,
I'm not trying to I think it's good news for
our friends. Listening on the Yellow Horne of the Twin
Cities on k Fan, I think, yeah, it's it's a
yellow bluetch. Yeah, it's a it's a yellowhorn. You know.
They they at skull, you know, hashtag skull and uh

(17:18):
and I feel like, you know, this could be a
little bit of a trap situation, you know, maybe, I mean,
because well, I'm just surprised that this line is not
more you know, like I I and they're out there
down there to their third string quarterback, like what the
seventh round traffick? You know what they have after this
week for Minnesota? Right? What's that? They have a bye?

(17:39):
We trapped for what? Like what else they're looking forward to? Okay, well, listen,
you know, Kirk Cousins in South Beach is a is
a problem for Cousins at one pm, is a problem
for for defenses. I mean, I'm just saying the South
Beach one pm is a little different. All right, We're
op let's keep traffic. I say, he's got Miami alright

(17:59):
plus three a half. I'll take Minnesota three a half.
Can I buy points? All? You can't tease anything. You
are exactly where you stand right now making this bet,
all right, three and a half. It's a It's a

Big green egg dot com. It's a grill season, baby,
not summer. Is you need smoking man, big time season
for smoking? Yeah? Sure is? I hear. Um. I'm gonna

(20:31):
start calling the far far. I don't know why. There's
gonna be people who call you just far high. Bar
gets to that point of where people are like, oh, bar,
It's just like, what's the point of the law. I
just want to say far. Yeah, layer of bar is
usually what I get. But what isn't bar the name
of the video review for soccer games, and I think

(20:53):
it is they called bar, So I'm just gonna call
you love bar. I feel it's disrespectful the place where
they play, um, the tennis, you know the tennis do
it's LaVar Stadium, isn't it labor Yeah, it's spelled that,
but you know it's kind of like LaVar's the e
r it's it's it's is it the r e er form?

(21:16):
It's to wash. By the way, last time I saw
soccer match, I think I was watching the women's team
who was playing London, and I remember the ref walked
over the side and all the showed the screen was
var I'm just like, alright, so we're winning on this thing.
To show the replay you just the ref just stood there.
It was probably like for ten fifteen seconds and became

(21:39):
uncomfortable for like the broadcast because I'm sure the director
and the producer behind the scenes are like, what the hell,
why is this you know, showing because the TV Because
the TV broadcast does help with like the officials, Like
even on UM an NFL game when it goes to replay,
like the TV truck is feeding the replays to those
guys in the boot to review it or to the

(21:59):
official on the field who's reviewing it. Like all that
is a part of the TV crew. So it's it's
pretty funny behind the scenes when you hear some of
the chaos that ensues. UM. Now, speaking of review, somebody
who's been all for reviewing everything in the NFL is
Bill Belichick. So now we must review some of these
comments that he made, because we could have ourselves a

(22:20):
quarterback controversy going on in New England. I mean, things
could be heating up there after the Patriots got zapped
this weekend. Bailey's appy starting. Yeah, but I think we
all got zapped if you bet on the Patriots. Now,
when I say we, I don't include me because I
thought the lines would at least, you know, step up
against against the Yeah. Yeah. And it seemed odd much

(22:48):
like the Vikings Dolphins line. And I thought I could
outsmart the book. Yeah, completely hooked. And so so Bailey's
appy went on, they want to get him last week,
and so the conversation is Mac Jones tries to come
back from his ankle injury. Is uh, you know, where
where do we stand on the starting quarterback situation in

(23:09):
New England? Here was the Patriots head coach Shockom with
the media. You expect to have Mac Jones back this weekend? Um,
we'll see see what it's like today. Go from there
is Mac the starter when he's ready to go? We'll
see where is that? I don't know? Okay, we go
pack because there is something that I noticed from Bill
Belichick that is very similar to something in our show

(23:32):
What Does He Do? What we played? Again? Do you
expect to have Mac Jones back this weekend? Um, We'll
see see what it's like today. From did you hear that?
Ready to go? Did you hear that? No? I didn't
hear it he has, he's a Jonas Knox sniff. Oh well, listen,
I mean that's I mean, that's sweeping the nation. I
don't know what to tell you. I mean a lot

(23:53):
of people, like if you are one of those snows listen,
A lot of people want to give credit to like,
you know, you snowblowers that are still up for your
third day in a row because you can't you can't
put down the the rolled up single dollar bill and
uh and I get it, but the sniff has been
hijacked by this show, all right, So if you want

(24:13):
to make a point, just sniff. You know what I mean?
I think Bill Belichick. And because of that, now we've
got a quarterback contracty come on, let's be real. I
know they haven't paid Mac Jones money. This isn't like
a Dak Prescott Cooper Rush comparison. Well, but they did
invest the first round draft pick and they are, in
lieu of that paying him more money than they are

(24:35):
Bailey Zappy And just let's let's be real. If you
go back and look at last week's domination of the Lions,
Bailey's appy was fine. They were running the hell out
of the football. Romandre Stevenson was like the lions worst nightmare.
I think one of the runs they had like six
missed tackles. Their defense was dominant um that got exposed.

(24:56):
I mean, Jared Goff. Those guys could do anything on off.
So I'm not so sure I had anything with Bailey Zappy.
And we're not even talking about like a three or
four game sample size like we see with Cooper Rush.
We're talking about basically one game, like one game we're
basically talking about besides the other one where he really
didn't do much. So I think this is being is
gonna be overblown in the media, But here we are

(25:19):
and like and yet the NFL just wants to protect
our starting quarterbacks because no one feels like we have
backups who can play. By the way, the media loves
quarterback controversies, It's phenomenal. There's so much meat on the
boat every time there's a quarterback controversy either, it's tremendous.
I mean, LaVar, what are we getting zapped? In New England?

(25:39):
Mac Jones gonna lose his starting job. I don't feel
the same way about that scenario. I don't for some
strange reason. I'm just I look at where they're at
right now, and they are waiting for mac Jones to
get back. But you know, the one thing I think
about with this whole scenario with mac Jones is and

(26:00):
it's not a concussion, so it's it's very, very different.
But I mean, the less you say is is better
because the more you say it's going, they are going
to find a way to utilize that that quote that
that whatever it is you said, that sounds if things
don't go the way they're supposed to go, and and

(26:23):
and you know, some people just get tired of that mess,
you know. And I could imagine Bill Belichick probably adopted
or adapted to how he has seen things go down
when he has said things in the media or someone
he cares about. I mean, he's from the belt, uh,
the Bill parcels coaching trees. So if you if you

(26:44):
have any type of understanding of how, you know, how
he handled things, the big tune to handle things, and
how he felt about things and how irritated he would
be by things, then you understand why Belichick handles things
the way that he handles it. But the first thing
I think about it is not if there's a quarterback
controversy and that's not what came to mind for me. Um.

(27:05):
But if they were to go on a run, if
they were to go on a a a run that
had legitimate winds connected to it, it's not a it's
not a Dak Prescott thing. It's a winning thing. And
that's what football is. Football is about winning. And and
so I would I would have the same thought process

(27:26):
if they had them, you know, if they beat the Bills,
you know, and and it wasn't with Mac and it
was a part of a streak, then I would have
the same questions. Tell you what, man, that heart of yours,
it's just it sways one way and then to the
other and then to the other. I mean, I'm just
I don't know. I need more commitment out of you. Far.

(27:46):
I need more commitment. That's all I'm saying. My brain
is the thing that sways. My heart is always true, man,
My my brain, though, my brain will give me different
different scenarios, and I'm okay with it. I'm okay with it.
It's like, like you've said this once before. It's media.
So I couldn't have convictions towards certain things. There's most
things that I don't have convictions towards him. Just be honest,

(28:09):
you don't care about No. No, I did not say that.
I did not say I don't care. I said I
don't have a conviction towards it, meaning that it could
go either way. Like I would not be mad at
myself if I changed up today and said, you know what,
there's no quarterback controversy brewing in in Dallas when when
Dak Prescott is ready to play, he'll come back and

(28:30):
he'll he'll play and it was good what Cooper Rush
and the Dallas Cowboys were able to do while he
was out. If I if I found myself saying that
during this show or tomorrow, I would not think two
seconds of it. Like, man, I really should have just
stayed convicted to the fact that I said that this
is a quarterback controversy. I'm just not wired that way

(28:52):
about like topics like that. Now, if you ask me
about Brady Quinn or Jonas Knox and how I feel
about them, then I'll be you know, I'll have some
conviction to that, you know, and I'll stand on that.
I say, I like you guys, I love you guys,
You're my bros. Like I'm gonna stand on that I'm
not gonna switch up and then be like man like
I don't care that I switched up and said I

(29:13):
don't fool with him like that. I wouldn't be that guy.
But topics, you know, I can change up, and that's
that's a that's a healthy approach. And listen, I'm not
about change up super quick. Yeah, I'm not above lying
and saying I never said it. Yeah, that's not I would. Ye,
I won't. I won't do that. You know many times
I've you know, given an opinion on this show and

(29:35):
then a couple of days later on the Jake over
a thousand of thousand. I mean, I'll put it this way. Var,
I'm just gonna see calling you Var. It's just I
feel it's easier than la Um. And also, by the way,
it eliminates any potential chance that I would say Lamar
instead of LaVar, because ever since you said that, I
know how you think. Yeah, but now I have to

(29:57):
say your name slower because in the back of my mind,
I'm like, don't say Lamar because he's already said it
and it's a thing. So now I'm thinking VARs just
a lot easier. Anyway, Jonas would miss so many live
bets with live bet Jesus and whatever. That whole thing
is that it's it's got to the point now where
you just have to do you have to think the
opposite of however, Jonas thinks, well, and and here's the

(30:19):
other part. When I get called out for a bad
take or something I got wrong on Twitter, I tell
people I never said that, because the goal is to
get them and keep denying it so that they'll go
back download the podcast, give it a five star, and
we win and then say no, no, you said it
right here. And as long as I can get somebody
else to listen one more time and we get another

(30:39):
click on the podcast, I think everybody wins. So I
of the show. I was just gonna say jokes on
you guys out there, Like the Jets fans are good
after the like, oh, they're like saying all this stuff
on social media, and like, hey, I'm getting a lot
of engagement. Guess what that's good for my business? Pal,
Trust me go ahead and keep throwing that. Hey, we
just we just donated a thousand bucks to uh what

(31:00):
City Dogs and City Kitties Rescue their d C helping
to save you know, shelter pets who are are potentially
gonna be euthanized. I said to donate a thousand bucks
to that for the Jets with this past. By the way,
why why are lavarn I catching strays because of the Jets?
Fans hate against you. You see something, The problem is
you're more catching strays because you actually did double death.

(31:22):
I actually think you you might have said there might
go oh and nine. I just said they wouldn't be
favorite their first nine. They'll probably win two or three
at five on the season. But what I what I
meant was they deserve to go oh and nine because
of that fan base is so lame that they deserve
to go oh and nine. That that's really what I meant.
I might have misspoke. We can go ahead and fix

(31:42):
that on the podcast. And I think it's more of
like an inferiority contest because like the Giants right now,
of a better record, they've always they've been the more
successful organization. It's almost like their standing. They're standing next
to them at the trough, you know, and yeah, you know,
there's a don't messure up right. You look over and
there's a new Bowl and you're like, well, I'm a

(32:05):
new bowl isn't here anymore? Well, I know, but if
he was, you're not going to look over and see him.
If he was maybe his ghost. Yeah, I'm just saying,
if he's a ghost, that's a great point. By the way, too,
someone needs to point out the jonas. You can't keep
you can't keep using people who are no longer here. Yeah,
I mean, look, it's just not respect all right. Even Momo,

(32:26):
who you use from time to time, you send him
your text messages, he's not alive either. Who's Momo? Oh?
You know whom everyone knows who Momo is? Who's Momo? Mom?
Was the guy that everyone keeps sitting around a text message?
Oh you guys sitting on the edge of the bed.
That's cold blooded. He's not here. He's not here, not Hey,
what a run though? I want to run on that guy? Well,

(32:50):
he never knew he was on a run. I mean, well,
I would have gotten there quick with three legs. Tell
you that? So good for him. I know i'd be
able to hear past I did. No. I you learned
something new every day, all right? So interesting? All right?
It is two pros and a cup of Joe here
on Fox Sports Radio, by the way, we are brought
to you by NITZA. Any first responder will tell you

(33:10):
never try to beat a train after breaking It could
take a mile for a train to completely stop. So
when you come to a rail crossing, stop because trains can't.
All right, so we got in case you missed it
coming up. But for all the latest from around the
world of sports, ladies and gentlemen. Makes a noise for
Edmund Effing Garcia. All right, thank you, Jonas we start
with postseason baseball. We had a pair of game twos
in the National Division Series. The podres De beat the

(33:31):
Dodgers in l a five to three jerks and pro
far game winning RBI single in the sixth for sand
were breaking a three three tie. Manny Machado and Jake
cronin Worth each had a solo homer and drove in
two runs and the win. U Darbish gets the victory
for San Diego. Their starting pitcher, Bruce darr grad Heal.
The relief picture came on for the starter Clayton Kershaw.
He took the loss. That best of five series now

(33:52):
even at one one, heading to San Diego for the
next two games, and the Brave shut out the Phillies
three nothing. Atlanta starter Kyle Wright gets to win with
six shut on Anything is the Bull and also added
three shout out attings. Philadelphia only had three total hits
in the game. Atlanta's three runs came on three RBI
singles Zach Wheeler for Philadelphia, their starter took the loss,
allowing all three runs. That best of five series also
even at one one. Now heading to Philadelphia for the

(34:14):
next two. News from the NFL where Raiders watch Retipa
Davante Adams was excited for misdemeanor assault after pushing a
photographer to the ground after Monday's loss in Kansas City.
Documents say the twenty year old Ryan Zebli suffered whiplash,
a minor concussion and headache from the incident. Adams as
a court date scheduled four November, and the NHL we
had six season openers. The Bruins beat the Capitols five
to two, was the Hurricanes over the Blue Jackets four

(34:35):
to one, Connor McDavid a hat trick, and the Oilers
five three one over the Canucks. Canadians edge the Maple
Leaves four three, Ducks over the crack In five four,
and overtime and the Avalanche, the defending Stanley keupt champs,
beat the black Hawks five to two. Interesting scene before
this one where Brady Quinn's brother in law, Jack Johnson,
now wearing a black Hawks uniform, joined in on the

(34:56):
pregame celebration with his old teammates and they raised the
stan the Cup banner. And I don't know, I don't
know if I've ever seen someone in another uniform celebrating
with with the team they won the championship with the
year before. But is it, well, Eddie, Well, I don't know,
it's that. I mean, how many times is there a
player who goes to another team after that year? Yeah,

(35:19):
that happens to be the first game. That's I think
from what I talked to him, I think that was
more of the gist of it. Was like they talked
about but this is like a leading up to it.
They're like, Hey, we want to make sure you come
out and celebrate with us. So it wasn't like a
spur of the moment. Did you see the rings in
the box that came in? You opened up the box

(35:39):
and there was there's a highlight video that plays on
the back of the box. The NHL does it right
as far as the celebration of the Stanley Cup and
how I mean the rings, all that stuff, even like
the thousand game thing that Jack did last year, like
all that was just so classy. So nigh. I wish

(36:01):
the NFL could do anything close to that for any
of their awards. But oh my god, the NHL actually
does something right. That's good news. That's good news. Well, yeah,
I was outside of whatever the hell that puck drop
thing was for opening ice. They still fight, though, just
don't get they don't get sued, by the way, either,
They don't get sued by anyone coming on the ice,

(36:22):
and nobody goes crazy one one of them gets a
concussion either. You ever noticed that. That's true. They've had
some uh, it's been some issues with guys who have
dealt with head trauma. You think that's every sport. You think,
you know, some high profile incidents. But again, you know,
the NHL is back, folks, and so it depends LaVar,

(36:43):
So it depends shouts out to the pens. Pens are back,
open up the igloe baby. Yeah, let's see sudden death
too again with John Claude Van Dand alright, it is
we'll never see the Igloo ever again. Now, it's too bad.
What a great place. Smelled though, smell though inside. I
just remember going to see the ice cream maids in
that place. Let me tell you something, Eddie, It's amazing

(37:05):
the things you discover in Pittsburgh. Huh. I love the Egloo.
That was a great place. Yea amazing, amazing what you
discover inside that. Yeah, that is amazing what you discover.
And guess what what coming up tonight? We've got some
baseball Yankees taken on the Guardians, although I'm told it's
probably gonna rain. But that's our Discover Card key matchup,

The guys are here to bring you in case you
missed it, and for that we turn it over to
our executive producer lead dig Digital lap Up. Hey, guys, well,
in case you miss it, I'm sure you haven't that
there's been a lot of interest in sideline photography the
last few days, which let in the NFL specifically, which

(39:38):
led to this story being revealed that Randy Johnson has
been an NFL sideline photographer for quite a while. Now,
I don't know if you knew that or not. He
actually yeah, yeah, the former All Star World Series champ. Yeah. Absolutely.
He actually has a business called Randy Johnson Photography, the
logo of which is a dead bird. It's appropriate because

(39:59):
that blue that bird up up. Um. Hey, I think
this is really it's awesome. I think it's cool that,
you know, first off, I hope there's not people out
there like making fun of it, because he's found another
passion that it's something that he said at USC I
believe before he went played professional baseball, and he's continually

(40:21):
done it and he's he's gone shot wildlife a kind
of stuff. I actually checked out his website when I
saw this. He's got some good stuff, man, Like he's
got a couple that like I would actually I don't
know the price. I didn't look at it, but like
I would be, like I'd put that up somewhere. Like,
he's got some good stuff. It's cool that he didn't
need to be literally in front of the camera post career.
He just said, no, I want to go take pictures.

(40:42):
I studied this in college and I want to I
want to just travel around and go do wildlife for
games or whatever. I think it I think it's awesome. Man.
Good for him. I wonder if he's making any money
off it. I mean, not that he needs it. Twenty
years in the major leagues. Was he was camera shie, Berto,
He's going to show that photographer when he was walking

(41:03):
to New York member they had bad equipment. I mean, listen,
he's at professional. He knows good equipment. Was that of
the guy just stuck into his face? Which I think
that's the cool thing about this is how long has
he been a sideline reporter and have we never just
never been mentioned incident anything. Because he's respectful for him,
that's all he was looking for. Roberto big Unit. Fox
