Speaker 1 (00:01):
It is the best of two pros and a couple
of Joe with LaVar Areas, Rady Quinn and Jonas Knocks
on radio? How are we feeling here on Monday? How's
everybody feeling fired up? Excited? When when Laars got of
getting you back a little bit right out the gate? Yeah,
I got him right out there's Yeah, that's supposed to

(00:27):
throw him up? Is it me? Or did the Miami
Dolphins make that game a lot harder than it had
to be last night? I just I mean, I mean,
and now a lot of people are pointing to electing
to go for it on fourth down when they're up
six and you can make it a two score game,
and I get all that, but it just felt like
the way they started, the way they were operating early,

(00:50):
and it just slowly got worse and worse from there.
There were a bunch of drop picks from two in
his first game back, and it just felt like they
should have drops from the offense as well, just to
drop picks, but go ahead. Yeah. No, It just felt
like this that game Miami could have been in total
control of, yet for some reason, Kenny Pickett still had
an opportunity to win the game late on the road. Yeah,

(01:15):
throwing the ball away. They were all throwing the ball away.
You think it was the rank you like, was it
the unexpected precipitation? Precipitation? I don't know. It's unexpected down here.
I mean it's always a factor in the forecast to
some degree, But I'm not sure what the shocking up to. Again,
I've i've I struggle with the Steelers offense because there's

(01:35):
just there's not gonna be a change. It's not Trabisky,
it's not pick it. You know, you can you can
pick out different plays where there's a breakdown, whether it's
the offensive line, an issue with the receivers, or it's
on the quarterback. But if you look at this offense
compared to everything else out there in the NFL, and
it's a stark contrast. It really is like the offenses

(01:56):
that are that are humming right now. They also have
good scheme, good design. You know, quarterbacks don't have to
work so hard to get a completion. It feels like
that watching the Steelers. It didn't feel like that watching
the beginning of that game with the Dolphins, like watching
two us spit the ball around, being back in there
behind center. That team just has a different feel to them.

(02:18):
I mean they feel like that three and O team
that we saw, you know, to beginning the season before
two got hurt um and so looked they made it
a lot harder in the end that they needed to
make it. But the bottom line is they kind of
dominated the game in some ways at least early on,
or made you feel like if they really needed to,
they could go down and get points at will. I
text message you guys like, oh, it's great to see

(02:39):
two back. It's so exciting when tools in the game.
Look at the way their offense is opened up right
now against Maya. Well my wounded, my wounded Steelers. But
it was okay. I was happy about doing Then it
was like wait, hold on, wait, wait, where's it going?
Where's it going? Do you have some good news for you? Okay,

(03:00):
tell me tell me. Here was Dolphin's head coach Mike
McDaniel talking guys like it that's about a scop an
impression as we have on the SHA that's right up
there next to Jonas Harry carry h No. I actually
think Lavars is better because it is right on point.
So here was Mike McDaniel after the game. It's not

(03:22):
an easy thing to do, you know, because we were
on a Thursday night game, UM in Cincinnati. When he
last played those games, you don't have full speed practices.
So his last full speed practice was it was before
the Buffalo game. If he wasn't so prepared and put
himself UM in the position of playing quarterback when he

(03:44):
was out, he wouldn't have been able to have any
sort of success like that. So there, I didn't hear
anything he said because I was too busy sitting there
thinking to myself. He sounded like he sounds like a
student council president in school in high school. Why he
sounds like he's explaining the agenda for a student council?

(04:07):
Aren't today this this year? We want to make sure
that there's more than just milks at lunch. We don't
want to have chocolate milk. I don't know why everybody
gives us chocolate milk and carrots. I know it's supposed

(04:31):
to be calcium for your bones, but I just I
just feel like, why can't we have like SODA's. Oh sorry,
I didn't even hear what he said. Yeah, I mean, look,
he's an interesting guy. And when they asked when they

(04:53):
were interviewing him to start the second half, he looks
so awkward. It just seemed like he was a little
bit uncomfortable, Like, yeah, I don't really know what to say. Really,
it's like I shouldn't even be here. I mean, I
like him. I think he's a breath of fresh air. Yeah,
I mean, and they won last night, but yeah, I

(05:13):
just I came away from that game thinking that it
was a lot more difficult than it needed to be.
And then when it comes to Kenny Pickett, I mean, look,
the numbers aren't great, it doesn't look all that hot.
But under no circumstances are we going to see any
sort of change you guys think with the coaching staf
this's just gonna be what it's gonna be, and it's

(05:35):
gonna be a bad season in Pittsburgh. Can I go
back to the other side of the ball really, I
mean to the other side of the field really quickly.
What were you guys thinking every time to a random
ball or took a hit? I mean, were you feeling
good for him? Did you take a deep breath? I
took a deep breath every time I didn't good for him?
I don't know. I have no read I don't even

(05:56):
know why I'm watching. And I'm like, and then the
one guy, did you see the one defender pat him
on the back like he could have demolished him, and
instead of like hitting him, he like stopped, pulled up
and like patted him on his back, like okay, get
back to the huddle. And it was a defender that
did it. I don't I don't know. He's such a

(06:18):
likable guy. I just I just I'm just looking at
his like every time he ran, like the one time
he put his shoulder down and he put his head down,
I was like, I don't know. That's a guy who's
a lot less worried about his own concussions and everybody else,
and and good for him, and I agree, But I
just wonder how many people around the world or was

(06:40):
watching the game. We're like, man, he's running, like, oh
don't like oh, like I just didn't want to see
it happened. Collinsworth even mentioned it. I mean the fact
that I had the game on mute. I say, both
both Chris Collinsworth and Mike Trico kind of gave you
that sense to I didn't feel that way watching it

(07:02):
because I was more curious, just you know, watching some
of their scheme and what was going on. But I
just I I appreciate seeing him back in there. To me,
he's fun to watch within that offense. I don't know
that this year would look like it has with him
playing quarterback and the Dolphins. I think if he stays
healthy and this continues, you know, they're gonna have to

(07:24):
pay him, Like they're gonna have to pick up his option.
They're gonna have to make a decision on him long
term because I think Mike McDaniels and two are a
tremendous fit with one another. I mean, it's it is fun.
It's not just to it, by the way, either. It's
just fun to watch them run the football all the
speed they have. I feel like every single guy on
their team, like you know, back in the day, I
remember when I was a young kid used to go
to the high state football camp and like one of

(07:46):
the prerequisites for being a quarterback at Ohio State was
like being six to like I swear to God that
this list of things you had to be talked up to,
being accurate, talked about armstrongth talked about all like like
football intelligence, and then one of the one of the
things was six to at least six too. I was like, man,
how many dudes in here about ready to look at
that and be like, well, I'm out. I mean, it's

(08:08):
like not even a pre requisite. I feel like the
Miami Dolphins, they look at their wide receivers and running backs.
It was like, well, if you can't run a four four,
all right or a sub four four, you're out. Like
like all they do is they have these dudes come in.
They're like, all right, time them get that clock out there.
Because everyone looks blazing fast on this team, and it's

(08:29):
just it's fun to watch. Like I say, what if
you want about two one and Mike with Daniels and
all that, but everyone's always flying around. I'm like, man,
this looks really fast on TV compared to everyone. They
were destroying the center of the field. They were killing
the same earlier and it was like, man, I meny,
why not? And there was a couple like the ball
was right there, like I thought, you know, you could
say it was a you know, good played by the defense,

(08:51):
but I thought Tyree Kill had a couple of plays too.
He could have made early on in that game down
the middle, but they started looking like ducks, like pickets.
Balls started looking ducky at the end of the game,
like they were like asked the rain, the rain, not
so much the wind. The wind, for sure down in
South Florida place more of a factor than people realized.
Like that was the one thing. Well, even just playing

(09:15):
like preseason games there, you're like, man, if it's if
it's a little bit of wind, it's always more than
what you think. Like buddies who come down in golf
and they're like, we're sort of hood. I'm like, more
than what you think because like you you you get
that ball up there a little bit, it feels like
gale force winds up there. Jonas snows he looked down
in South Carolina. He's been through her. Yeah, yeah, listen,
tropical storm. Try to driving a tropical storm to go

(09:37):
get something to eat and realize, oh my car almost
blew over. I'm gonna go ahead and turn back around
and get back. I swear to God, like almost blew over.
And I just turned back around and drove back because
I just underestimated it. But um oh, I think it
was sonic because they had they had a good dollar
menu and I was broken. I love when stories. Well,

(10:00):
I mean that's I mean, I'm supposed to be the
relatable guy here on this show, like yeah, you know,
I'm just trying the common man, you know, yeah, yeah,
hashtag common man. I mean what I did, I did
forget we did, we did have the story. LaVar has
been through some because you lived on the East Coast,
you're in d C. You've been through a hurricane. Yeah,
a story. They were gone. Yeah, where did they go to?

(10:25):
Coy Heaven? Heaven? And it smelled pretty bad in there. Oh.
I was like I was sitting there talking to him
like no, go oh, believe me. They were. They were
my happy place. You know when they're happy. They'd be
moving around, you know. They were all going belly up, man.

(10:47):
And I mean I had them since they were babies,
Like I got them as babies, and they were like
as long as like my arm. They were big and
they were going they were going belly. I can't believe
you guys would take me to this sad place. I
feel it wasn't enough that my Steelers lost, Like, yeah,
I want to take me to the same place. I
feel like this is the same place that Jonas kirst
with bass. Yeah, but just imagine like I had named

(11:11):
a lot of them. Did you get what were their names?
I had Larry Mow and Curly, I had uh who else? Did?
I had? Uh? Captain rogers Um and they all had
like their unique little look you know there I could
tell who they were. Really. Yeah, yeah, you wouldn't forget, Like,

(11:31):
I don't know, I feel like I wouldn't forget them.
It's been a long while, but you know I had
him named that. At one point there was like they
started reproducing, like it was like it was a real
thing going on up in there. And then it got
damned hurricane. I'll tell you what, man, I don't even
remember the name of it. Which one was it? Katrina? No?
That was it wasn't Katrina. What year you talk? I

(11:53):
don't remember. Goldie han fan uh now right, I never
let's never knew Brady. I didn't a Brady Brady. What
Kurt Russell movie do you think is on TV one
in the studio right now? It's not overboarded? Yes it is. Yeah,

(12:14):
the underrated movies of all time, very underrated. Yet I
also don't know that Goldie Hahn reveals everything in that
vide she did ye yes, she did did she wasn't revealing,
but she does have a mark key part of the movie,
or or a bite mark. Yeah, well, let's find out.

(12:39):
I wouldn't know. I'm sure it's very old by now.
Whatever it was by the way, Kurt Russell prior a
Thousand Oaks, California, yea thou Yeah, I went to my
elementary school to or actually I went to Yeah, what's
your favorite movie with Kurt Russell? Um? Oh, use cars?
Not even tell him? Bird? Backdraft? That? Yeah, man, he's

(13:03):
got so many good big, big Trouble, A little China,
got so many good little trouble and big. Did you
just miss the chance to reference Backdraft? Shownas used cars?
It's got to be used cars. I was raised on
used cars. It wasn't probably shouldn't have been allowed to
watch it, But my brother showed me used cars when
I was a kid, and it changed my life. One
of the funniest movies of all time. At just some

(13:26):
of the language and some of the dialogue in the
movie I should not have been seeing as a child.
My older cousins showed me colors, and I was that
Russell was in color. No, No, it was pac Man
was pinned, dude, by the way. I was trying to

(13:48):
explain our conversations about twenty three and me on this show,
like some of are different inside jokes. I think, I
hope it was a line up to who, but he
just he did not get any of it. Well, sorry, man,
what's what? Specifically what what sort of comment about twenty
three of me? Um? Just from Berto and LaVar's panting

(14:08):
about their assaults back. But he was asking about the
sign and I was like, well, there's this whole running
joke about this movie called Colors. Have you seen that? No?
I have not. I'm like, all right, well, it's gonna
make it a little more difficult to understand why this
is so funny. And I kept scanning the crowd. Didn't

(14:30):
see any of this week. So unfortunately, there we we
we missed our streak of Midwest cities. But I did
have someone. I did have someone come up Friday night. Um,
God blessed the guy. I was in Virginia Beach, but
he was in town. I forget what he's visiting for.
He was complaining about the fact that I don't know
if if he couldn't listen to us anymore, what was

(14:52):
going on, but he was like, hey, big fan, listen
to the show. Like he interrupted our dinner just to
have this conversation. And so I was like, all right, great,
you know. But that's that's always the interesting one, is
like not thinking that that's what you're gonna get in
my hometown someone who's a listener but not from the
hometown and not anything to do with the TV stuff,
but but our radio stuff. Yeah, I get I get

(15:15):
it all the time. Yeah, man, I get it all
the time. Like Two Pros and a Cup of Joe,
I'm like, yeah, and Berto yeah yeah, he's Mexican does

(15:35):
which we had more suspense with it, you know. Yeah.
And now for the results, I'm telling I tell you
what were your results of twenty three and mat Mexican Die.
Be sure to catch live editions of Two Pros and
a Cup of Joe with Brady Quinn, LaVar Arrington and
Jonas Knocks week days at six am Eastern three am

(15:58):
Pacific on Fox Sports Radio and the I Heart Radio Aphy.
Is that your favorite? I don't know, it's kind of weird. Yeah,
it is you boneless or or or bone bone in bone?
Yeah me too. I don't who steaks chicken whatever. I

(16:19):
just want the bone in it. Yeah, I'll eat I mean,
I'll eat bone in. But you know, if I have
my choice, I would rather a boneless Well that's because
um Jonas doesn't use his hands to eat wings. Us
exactly what it is. Oh wow, yeah you're not You're
not from the east, exactly what it is. You know,

(16:40):
I've been misrepresented a lot on this show. I will
not stand for that. I will not stand for that.
That is completely unfair and reckless. That was actually aggressive.
That would not take that, take that back. That was
just that was like, that was just a slander. Who
the hell? Who they'll eats wings with the bone in
without their hands? No, No said why you like to? Yeah?

(17:06):
Did you understand Ali both? I just feel like boneless
wings are more consistent than bone in wings. But they're dry.
I just get them tossed in the sauce. I don't
do tosson. Some people get lost to the sauce. Some do,
It's true, some get lost in the tossin. Do get

(17:29):
lost in the sauce? Al right? It is And a
cup of joe here on Fox Sports Radio. By the way,

we do have some good news for our friends listening
on the game in Wisconsin. Right They are friends and
we appreciate their friendship. We have some good news, according
to Aaron Rodgers, he was asked about whether or not

(18:14):
he believes the Green Bay Packers following a bad loss
to LaVar Arrington's Washington Commandos and Taylor Heineke, who tried
to give the game away early about it. According to
Aaron Rodgers, the Green Bay Packers still still in contention
for making a playoff run. This was Rogers yesterday writing

(18:35):
the ship and getting the playoffs in that field right now.
Goddamn right it does. I'm not worried about this squad.
In fact, this might be the best thing for us
this week. You know, nobody's gonna give us a chance
going to Buffalo and sun Night football, the chance they
get exposed shop, it might be the best thing for us.

(18:56):
All right, So it's not And I'm gonna just go
ahead and check off the box. It's it's not no,
So go to Hollywood. I mean, but what even he
dropped a g D on us. He dropped a g
D at Aaron Rodgers. So that's why we had to
dump it. Well, yeah, that wasn't me. Yeah, you know,

(19:20):
you gotta be care some people in the Bible Belt. Yeah,
you gotta be careful with the g ds depending on
who's out there. Yeah, you gotta say caught Catholic, but
I'm not you know a U T or you know
c O T COT. Yeah, there's that. Um. Now, for
those of you that are wondering why is Roger so confident,
Well it's because they're only ten and a half point

(19:41):
underdogs for next Sunday Night's game at Buffalo, which, by
the way, the first time in Aaron Rodger's career they've
He's ever been a double digit underdog. But based on
what we saw yesterday, is there reason to believe that
the Green Bay Packers are going to bounce back and
rid themselves of another poor performance? On the road. Who's confident.

(20:04):
I'm not. I mean I think you look at the
way they've played so far this year. There's no rhythm,
no flowing offense. Um, they don't run the football consistently.
The passing game is just I mean, they're searching. I mean, honestly,
I feel like, you know, it's about Halloween, right you
guys ever did bobbing for apples? Yes, you remember that?

(20:24):
Like I said, know how disgusting that is now that
I look back on it really disgusting. More about the bathtub, right,
It's like you're putting your face in after somebody else,
after somebody else, then they might have put their mouth
on the apple that you ended up bobbing and getting.
Like It's like I was watching that on TV the
other day. I was telling my kids I did that.
They were like, Dad, I was like, yeah, you're right.

(20:46):
In the COVID era probably I was thinking more just
about the fact that, like you don't even know if
that bathtub was like washed before, so you might have
been getting like, yeah, hardy apples, booty apples, other other
places apples could have got some apples with some o.

(21:11):
No anyway is ruined the whole point of it is,
you've got you, You're down there, You're just you're just
praying for something. You know, you're hoping to get something
out of that. I feel like that's every offensive series

(21:32):
for the Packers. They're Bobba for apples. It's like, can
we just get someone to be consistent, to be able
to make a play so we get some points, come
away with something. It really does feel like that used.
It's painful to watch. Man. I used to be under
the water. I'd be like, oh, I'm bubbling for apples.
You and Aaron Rodgers brothers so happy. Well, I mean,

(22:00):
at least at the end, I got what I wanted.
I don't know that Aaron Rodgers is gonna get what
he wants out of his cotton. Darn uh you right,
we are like, I don't. I don't think they got
people in the perfect place that he thinks he thinks
people are in. We've talked about this before. The David
baktr situation is odd. We're going on coming up on

(22:23):
two years since he tore his knee up right after
he signed that contract extension, and it's still an issue.
He was scratched late on Saturday night and then Zach
Tom who's his backup, you know, had had a quote
that basically said, you know, just looking at the way
he looks in practice, sometimes you know, you just gotta
be ready. And and to me, that's pretty damning. And

(22:44):
we've we've said it before when he tried to come
back for the playoff game or for the late game
last year Week seventeen, he played a handful of snatch
and then wasn't available for the playoff game and then
miss more time at the start of this year. It
just feels like they're a mess and and they're they're
similar comps to Tampa Bay. Tampa Bay feels the same.
But if but I look at Tampa Bay and I go,

(23:07):
they've got pieces, They've got I'm more confident in Tampa
Bay than I am Green Bay turning or turning this around.
Although the NFC is wide open, I just the Packers
feel problems because the NFC Cell Division is awful. Yeah,
so that's why you feel that way. Yeah, it's not
it's not great. And Green Bay's but you've got Minnesota. Yeah,

(23:28):
Minnesota's two games ahead. Yeah, I mean that's you gotta
go for a wild card. I don't think they're going
to catch Minnesota, but I don't know that there. I
don't know that they're gonna be in the number two spots.
I mean Detroit, Detroit is yeah, yeah, they will be
in the number two at the Bears and the Lions
and yeah yeah, yeah, but it still isn't the same

(23:50):
as Tampa Bay. But Tampa Bay, like, that's that's a
that's a disturbing situation, man like because it's turning into
what what you would have it could have turned into
when Tom Brady went there and then he brings in
all these guys like I'm gonna bring in ground that
turns up the dial on on Maye for television. Then

(24:12):
you bring in a b and you're you're bringing in
all these guys. You the thought, man, there is a
soap opera brewing in Tampa Bay. But you know what,
give credit where credit is due. Bruce kept that thing together.
The question is going to be for me, which is
a great segue from my point. What is la floor?

(24:35):
Like We're having this conversation and it's all based upon
what Aaron Rodgers is saying, but really what's gonna have
to happen is is that these coaches, I think, I
don't know what's it you que or somebody said it.
I don't know who said it, but like you know,
they're gonna have to coach. You gotta coach in Green
Bay this year. You gotta you gotta get some stuff

(24:56):
done as a coaching staff if this team is to
in because you don't have some of the luxuries that
you've had in years past, mainly a number one receiver.
And that's what you know, everybody was banking on the
fact that you get a young guy in the draft.
You got some widely veterans, if they can stay healthy

(25:19):
and if the young guy can can kind of progress
quickly enough that Aaron Rodgers is the guy that I
can do it and they can get over that hump
and do what they need to do. Heck, I had
them in the Super Bowl, had them as my pick,
and I look at my two picks, the Green Bay
Packers in the Baltimore Ravens. Baltimore Ravens is like scraping
and scrounging to get victories and and Green Bay can't

(25:42):
even win. I mean, I don't know, man, it's gonna
come down to me. It's gonna come down to the floor,
like if I was the floor, I would I would
kind of sack up and and honestly be like, listen, hey,
look ay right, we're gonna limit your your media availability
right now and focus in on getting ourselves on the

(26:04):
right track. You know, that would be me, would be
I think there's there's two things that play though, because
there's a common de nominator between the Bucks and the Packers,
and that's neither Rogers and Brady are really a part
of the off season. And and I know people, what
does that matter? They've done in the past and all that. Well,
Rogers didn't walk into the season with Davante Adams, who

(26:26):
he could at least rely on any time he wanted to.
I mean, that's a that's a big difference. And for
Tom Brady has obviously been a lot of stuff going
on the off seasons. He's maybe done it to a
degree in the past. But now you've got a season
two where that that head coaches and there Bruce Arians
and I don't know, if you know he's a part
of game planning if he's not, you know, obviously he's
not on the sidelines talking with Byron Leftwich on the

(26:48):
headset talking about different play calling, But I mean it
seems like there's a drastic disconnect with all the quarterbacks
and the rest of their team. And it's it's not
always everyone else, like everyone wants to talk about like, oh,
who do the Bucks and Packers need to do to
come in? Well, the quarterbacks just need to play better,
Like that's a portion of it too. But I also

(27:08):
feel like if you if you look at the Packers
season so far, right, I mean outside of this most
this most recent loss, like outside of looking at you
losing to the Washington Commandos, they've lost all teams that
have good records at this point, the five and two Jets,
the six and one Giants, the five and one Vikings, Right,

(27:29):
I mean, if you're just looking at records, I think
you look at it and you go, but look, they're
they're just a game under five. And with the exception
of this most recent loss on the road, which is
the first of a three game stretch on the road,
you know, they they've really lost the teams that are
are maybe good football teams. But maybe that's part of
it is do you really feel like the Jets are

(27:50):
a good football team? Do you really feel like the Giants?
And this is gonna be sustainable to keep them six
and one. Like the Vikings, I think a divisional game
to open this season, you're kind of not sure what
the thing now? Looking back on you're going, all right,
the Vikings look for real. But but I think that
plays a little bit into probably the perception of this
Packers team is not only like what the you know,

(28:10):
how they look on the field, but like who they've
won and lost to, and what our perception of as
of those teams as well. Yeah, because Carolina Panthers ain't
been winning at all, you know, and that team is
just bad, bad, So that makes you look at them
and go all right, like where where is where all
the bucks? Right now? Is that just like a jump

(28:32):
because they got maybe a couple of bad eggs out
of there. I mean, it's just it was Christopher Caffree
holding this team back. I don't think anyone's actually serious
when they say that or asked that. Yeah, I mean,
I thought you were gonna keep going with a different
point there. But I think I think we all started
thinking about the same exact thing at the moment that

(28:55):
it was good, It was good to take just a good,
healthy pause to kind of reminisce about out. Maybe there's
like a some minutes personal life, and you don't think
the care a lot of fan base that's more upset
about losing Olivia Colpo than Christian McCaffrey. You are a
dead rock and most likely a teammates at at the
post game barbecues, you know, the catered events that that
the players win't got food as with the families, you

(29:18):
know they're gonna like pour one out, yeah, every every gay.
You guys, remember the time when Christian used to come
in here with this Carol, We're gonna just put put
this plate down right here, would have played a food
on it in memory of you know, I used to
sit one one table away. We're going to put a
plate right there where the seat was. You guys remember

(29:38):
when we used to have those you know, dinners together
and no one could stand up once Christian Olivia got here. Yeah, yeah,
you wanted to greet him, but you know what if
you just had to just say hi, Hi, Hi, that's
one one way good to see you guys. One way
to sit at the beach just doing some research here,
be sure to catch live editions of two pros and

the Dallas Cowboys get their starting quarterback back and Dallas

(30:45):
and just a flawless performance, never never in any trouble
gets Detroit Lions. Uh yeah, I was listen, you know
a little bit off, a little rust the right, a
little yeah, a little bit of Russaurant Russ Dak Prescott us.
Wasn't that a uh so? Uh the quarterback for Dallas,

(31:10):
Dad Scott he is that is uh what an awkward lift.
But the quarterback for the Dallas Cowboys. Dak Prescott, not
Cooper Rush. He was back under center for Dallas. He
talked after the game about replacing Cooper Rush, coming back

(31:31):
in after this time off and just sort of where
the team stands. I don't know if I would have
felt it not being able to watch these guys for
the last five weeks, honestly, and everything happens for a reason,
and so, um, yeah, I mean it's time that I
had off was a blessing. Did an amazing job obviously
of keeping us in this position. I know how talented
this team is. I know what we can be. It's
not about me, um, it's about all of us. And UM,

(31:52):
just trying to make sure that I played my part
and make sure I put this team in the in
the right situation each and every play, and uh, just
make the most out of whatever situal I'm given. Uh.
Their defense is awesome. Are they a legitimate contender in
the NFC? The Dallas Cowboys with that defense and with
Dak Prescott is their quarterback? Is that a team you
could see? Why would they not be? That's because I

(32:14):
think a lot of people look at it and go, well,
I don't know, Dad can't win any big games. You know,
there's just sort of a narrative that's written around him.
I look at him and say that defense. I know
Philadelphia has got a two game leading the division, and
good for them. I still think Dallas is is a
live dog in the NFC. To make some noise, I'm
maybe I'm a lot higher on them than some people are,

(32:35):
but I think Dallas absolutely as a chance in the
NFC with da Here's the thing about the NFL schedule,
whether it's the Giants or the Jet Shawks, teams that
have have probably exceeded our expectations coming to the season, Um,
they haven't played that many divisional games. All these schedules
are backloaded where the second half is where they get
into the meat of these divisional games. And so for me,

(32:57):
like looking at that, I just kind of say, we'll see.
I mean, if I'm not mistaken, I think the Johants
only played one divisional game. I think they might be
and one within the division. So you look at how
this all stacks up, and and then ne wins are great,
but you also have Dallas when you also have Philly winning,
which means it's larger gonna come down to those divisional

(33:17):
games that are gonna ultimately decide a who wins your division,
which is always the better, easier path through the playoffs,
you know, but be like, as far as what that
wouldn't lost record is gonna look like what it's all
said done for a wild card spot, that's gonna play
a factor. So, uh, Dallas is alive dog, There's no
doubt about it. Their defense has been a big piece
of that. But I think the thing I took away was,

(33:39):
you know, look, DA's adjusting to his grip with his thumb,
you know, surgery and the injury coming off of that.
It's gonna take some time. Like it's is similar to
Russell last year with the finger injury. No different than
when Wentz comes back, you know, even though it's not
as significant because I believe it's his ring finger on
his throwing hand. This stuff takes time and it's and
it's not gonna look you know, pretty always. But what

(34:02):
I like to see about it was they kind of
stuck to that game plan that they are using with
Cooper Rush, you know, running the football, playing good defense.
I think that's their formula until things get kind of
smoothed out with Doc and you really need him to
go win you a football game. So they obviously didn't
need to yesterday versus Detroit, but at some point they will,

(34:22):
and and I think he'll be ready when that moment happens.
I really do well. They most likely won't have to
do it against the Bears either. They can work. I mean,
if you're talking about the perfect time to work somebody
back in and work through the rust of of sitting out,
you would think it'd be right now. He's got they
got two bye weeks coming out. I mean, you would

(34:43):
have never thought that Green Bay would be a game
where you'd say, oh, they they might be are you know,
they'll be okay in that game as well. But I mean, now,
when you think about it, Minnesota is probably the hardest
game that they have in the next three weeks. You've
got Chicago coming up, and then you have green Bay.
Now you do have to travel to to Green Bay,

(35:04):
and you have the Beers at home. So I mean
that stacks up. That align is really great for you.
But then now you gotta deal with the Vikings in Minnesota.
You get the Giants back at home, you get the
Colts at home. The Colts are are a conundrum. I
really don't know what you're gonna get with them from
week to week. Anybody who tries to prognosticate for them,

(35:25):
good luck if you report on that team. You know,
God bless you, um, because I don't. You just don't
know what you're getting out of the Colts. But that
could be an interesting matchup. And then you got the Texans,
you got the Jaguars, and then then as as Brady mentioned,
I mean, like you gotta you gotta win that next
one against the Eagles. You gotta get that one against
the Eagles. Who knows what happens with Tennessee and you

(35:49):
you end off the regular season with with the Washington team. Um,
I think this this schedule in a lot of ways
seemingly is very very positive and and very um you know,
I guess good for for this team. So I mean,
they don't have If it doesn't pan out where they

(36:12):
show that they're a contender, bye bye, season's end, then
that's kind of one of those things where nobody you
can't point the finger anywhere else. You've got to be
looking in the mirror. If they can't really put together
a nice season the rest of the way. Yeah, I
mean even if they're a wild card. I still look

(36:33):
at them and say, there's just there's nobody in the
NFC like Philadelphia. We can say what we want about Philadelphia,
but I don't think anybody would be scared to have
to go to Philly to want a playoff game. I
just don't see it. And that's why when we talk
about why not, I just I don't. That's a hard
ass place to play. Bro. Philly is hard to play.

(36:56):
Even if they're not the greatest of teams at times,
that is still a hard place to go play and win.
I'm telling Philly's hard. Yeah, But I just look at
Philadelphia and I go not everyone seat is created equal,
and I don't think they're close to up off. That's
just a difficult environment to play in though, Like that's
that they're They're one of those teams that home field

(37:19):
is an advantage, Like that's an advantage for them because
they throw snowballs in Santa Bro, that's that's a that's
that's a that's a hard place to play. Just there's
just some places that are hard to play. Philly is
a hard place to play. So Dallas, you are you
buying into the return of Dak Prescott and your Dallas

(37:39):
Cowboys because you said they weren't going to make the playoffs,
all right, So how you'm still going I'm honestly, I'm
I think that at best they'll be a wild card team,
and they and and the way things are going right now,
seemingly they might have to be a second wild card
team out of the NFC East. The way it's going

(38:01):
right now, I would I wouldn't bet on on New
York Giants being the first wild guard if if if
it doesn't if it could flip flop in my opinion,
could it could flip flop? But joeyen Philly in New York,
here's what the Dallas. But here's my concern with it
with the Giants. Kwan's touching the ball fifty six percent

(38:25):
of their offensive snaps like he's either running it or
catching it. And that's obviously excluding the quarterbacks rushing intemps.
So think about that for a second. Like this offense
hinges on him, and he's been he's been dynamic, he's
been special, whatever adjective you want to throw on there.
He's been incredible this year. If he gets injured, if

(38:48):
he misses some time, so really, I mean, it changes
the entire dynamics of this team, even as good as
their defense has been. And so that's my it's my
biggest concern. It's like it all looks good now, but
they've only played one divisional game, their owning one in
the division. So they've got a lot of important games
coming up and all this has to stay the course
because like Daniel Jones has been improved taking care of

(39:09):
the football, But I keep sitting back going he really
hasn't had to put a game on his shoulders and
spread things out and go win that thing, just chucking
it and ducking it, you know what I'm saying. Like,
I think when that situation presents itself, then we really
see how much of those issues he had in the past,
all those fumbles in the pocket and those interceptions, then

(39:32):
we really see if those things have displayed themselves. One
Dale Robinson left that game, you know, uh banged up yesterday.
He's been He's been a nice piece to to help
them out because they don't have many options at wide
receiver the way this whole season has worked out with
Kenny Golladay, Darius Tony Sterling Shepard getting hurt like it's
it's starting to get thin, man. And so if se

(39:54):
Kwan becomes either ineffective banged up missing some time, you
might have a big question to Mark there that that's
my biggest concern for them, right And I know Dallas,
you know z Got has had a knee injury too,
and yesterday's game, but they have Tony Pollard and some
people think that Tony Pollard might be better. Yea, And
Michael Parsons is a defensive Player of the Year. Correct,

(40:15):
it's over on that over. I don't know, dude. I mean,
here's what I say for Quinn and Williams like that,
he's got to at least be in the conversation that
dude is wrecking games. The problem is he's not going
to have like an interior d lineman stats like Donald does,
even though Donald don't move him around more. It's just
that's the tough pall Cominent than Michael Parsons right now.

(40:37):
That's that's fair. Like he's like everything, He's impacting everywhere,
every play, every play. So let me ask you guys this.
They have Seattle coming up New York, the four three
leading the NFC West. No one saw that. Let me
ask did you lay money? Would you lay money on

(40:59):
Seattle to win that division? Right now? Yes? I think
they got to be the favorite. I will, I actually
don't think they're the favorite. San France this favorite, yeah
fend yeah, yeah, but I'm not I'm not a believer
in sant friend yet. So Seattle's five to one, so
you know, a hundred wins five hundred if you bet
on the Seahawks to win the division the Niners, I mean,

(41:21):
that's that's something good money, like plus one one oh five,
so right about even, and then the Rams are sitting
at at plus two. I don't buy the Rams at all. Yeah,
I just I don't. I don't get it. Um. I
actually I would be more confident in Seattle than I
would be the Rams, because you're not even mentioning Arizona
at this point. It's just plus eight hundred. Yeah, there's value.

(41:47):
I'll take it. Yeah, I mean, of course I will.
I'm a terrible better so of course I would take
that at plus eight hundred. But what would you think
the Giants record would be the rest of the way.
They got the Seahawks, then they got the Texans, the Ions,
then the Cowboys, Commanders, Eagles, Commanders. So it's super heavy
with with divisional games. Then they have the Vikings and

(42:09):
the Colts, and then they finish up with the Eagles.
I mean, what would you what would you think their
record would be the rest of the way. There's six
and one right now, right, I mean they have to
get to I think it with that schedule, they at
least get the nine maybe ten wins. Like I feel
like you can almost say they're a shoeing for winning record,
maybe double digits. Three more wins that's guaranteed, is it not? Yeah? Well,

(42:33):
and I would say based on how the NFC looks
right now, you'd have to say that that is probably
a pretty safe spot for a playoff. Damn. So you're
gonna say they're gonna lose seven games, No no, no, no, no, no, no,
you're not understanding what I'm saying. It's a shoe in.
They win at least three of those and so, well,
what I'm trying to portray you is they are That
means there are probably a playoff team because the NFC

(42:56):
has been so bad. So if you're looking at consernly,
like I don't know what the odds are for them
to be a playoff game. But you should definitely lay
some money on that. I mean, you came to the
right place to ask. I me just vamp a little
bit and I'll make sure I'm just you get what
I'm saying. That schedule of our there's no way to
me they don't win three or four games. So that's
guaranteed money in the bank. You know, go ahead and

(43:18):
bet that whatever I mean minus three hundred to make
the playoffs. Significant neighbor to do so well. But again
it's guaranteed money. I mean, if you want a hundred dollars,
you have to put up three hundred. But you're good
because there's yeah, there's three games on the schedule. You
look at and go, those are wins Texans, Lions, and
Colts later in the year. I don't know that is

(43:40):
the Colts later in the year. I don't know. No
one knows about the Colts. You think, you think Matt
Ryan's going to be upright by week seven? Don't know,
they might be good by week seven? What the hell
happened to Jonathan Taylor? Matt Ryan got there and they're like, hey,
let's just chuck this thing around. Forget about Jonathan Taylor.
This diculous running back. They're bad man bad because they

(44:03):
they're like trying to play the type of ball that
like Matt Ryan was playing in Atlanta. Like from the
football You've got one of the best running backs in
the league and you're kind of shelving him and then
put your offensive line that has not played well this
year in a position where they're trying to protect a
constant drop back game. Like, that's not advantageous for anyone
on that roster. Yeah, it's that was not a good look.

(44:26):
And by the way, Tennessee, where do they want four
in a row? And yeah, I think I think Tennessee's
won four. The they're heating up, they're still a little bit.
That division is heating down. Everyone else around them just
falling apart, starting to come back to what the AC
sub normally. Let's get back to where it should be
