Speaker 1 (00:01):
It's the best of two pros and a couple of
Joe with Lamar areas, Rady Quinn and Jonas knocks on radio.
So how we feel in post Halloween? Anybody got a
candy bar? Hangover? Anybody you're feeling a little bit down?
What's going on? Good morning? The bars back? Yes, I
(00:27):
don't really eat that stuff. I'm not really Yeah, really,
candy bar guy anymore? Don't the whole fit and all?
Bill Man, we throw everything away to go out, We
have a time, but then we throw it away in
a candy bar. I don't know, you know, I don't
want to be the first one of the one out
(00:48):
of every so many are statistic of this happened to
the candy I just you know, it's just the world
we live in. I just I know nothing about the
people that might kids are getting candy from. So they
get to go out for the experience. You know, we
know because we go in our neighborhood. So we we
(01:09):
might not be able to pick out exactly which person
right away, but eventually you can whiddle down like we
just go on our neighborhood. I don't know my neighbors,
I know my direct neighbors, to my right and directly
across my street. I don't That's that's about it. I don't.
I don't know my I don't know anyone, and I
don't get I don't. I just you stay in your space.
(01:30):
I stay in my space. I'll come out and get
my my newspaper with my coffee, and I'll say, hello, oh,
it looks good what you're doing to the home Dotta,
Dotta is dot and the other. Okay, have a good one,
all right, you two, all right. That's about it for me. Man,
it's growing up a little bit naived all this. I
never thought that when I got that little box of
(01:50):
milk duds that it possibly could be laced with fent
and all. Like, I never never crossed my mind growing up.
It's a it's a if you look it up and
and say and Gabriel Valley is it's a. It's like
a it's like a real thing going on right now.
Like there's there's been a lot of UM emergency vehicles
(02:10):
going back and forth to UM two schools. There's they said,
like the statistic is like like one out of five
kids are are like having overdose episodes at schools right now,
Like like at at like middle schools and in high schools.
So it's like really bad. It's like really bad where
(02:33):
I live, the valley I live in, it's like so
I don't know, it's it's it's just sad. Man morning,
good morning, A happy note, happy everyone, be careful. In
fifteen minutes from now, we're gonna break Jeffrey Dahmer's resume.
Don't don't say, don't say. Two pros and a cup
(02:56):
of Joe did keep it real with you about Halloween.
By the way, our eat ted Bundy poond to break down.
I did wait wait, wait, reperto what did you say
he did? Isn't he Yeah? Yeah, he's dead. I just
I just like he dead. Baby, he's dead. He did well.
(03:20):
I mean, var is back though, the big superstar of
State College, being that the big show man man, that
was the big news. It was awesome to see you
down there getting honored and have you on the show
and all that. Even that's cool. We even got our
pac Man reference and that was great. I got to
meet the fans, saw everyone. It was awesome. Cool. Uh
(03:43):
and how was the plus? You were looking pretty stylish too.
They were even pointing it out. You have to watch
the size of folding chair on your wrist. Should I
give you guys a funny story about that moment. So
I forgot my belt before I went over there. I
put on all my layers because I was cold and
(04:04):
I don't like being cold. Um, but I forgot my
belt and my pants almost fell down. My pants almost
fell down, and I asked my wife after I said hey,
I said I had on some dope champion uh champion
boxer shorts. I said, do you think it would have
(04:26):
been way better? I think I would have went viral
if my pants just fell down like probably had. So
here's what happened. I didn't realize that. I didn't realize
that that not had First of all, I was okay
moving around without a belt at first, and then when
they put on all those packs on my uh on
(04:47):
my pants, they started pulling my pants down. So now
I'm walking through the crowd the audios, right, so somebody
hits me. Somebody hits me and knocks wanted the pas
X off. I catch it with my hand. So now
I'm trying to come up on the stage and I'm like,
all right, dude, I try to put it back on
(05:07):
my pants. I ended up putting it in my pocket.
So now I can't dap guys up for like a second,
I'm just like hugging guys because I'm trying to figure
out where to put the pack. So anyway, there was that,
but all in all, without my pants falling down, it
was a fun moment. It was a really cool moment. See,
I noticed that your pants are falling off because when
(05:28):
you stood over top the guy and you're basically taunting him.
The guy who was dressed up, like who's he supposed
to was the c J. Stroud. He was dressed up,
and so you're on the you're on the crash pad
or the landing pad, and then you stand over them.
I say, I see you pulling your pants up. Like
he almost went bare ass on this. I mean when
I stood over him, I was like, my pants are
(05:50):
going down, And I was like, if I'm standing over
on my pants go down, like I bet you the
crowd would have went wild and they would they would
have been like, yeah, what about me? Man? Hey, By
the way we were speculating, the gloves that you were
(06:14):
wearing seemed real thick, like they like the type of
that you're like if you're fixing a fence like in
Wyoming and the Dead of Winner, like that would be
the type of gloves. Like they were real thick. Yeah
that's what. Yeah, they didn't look like they were industrial.
They were. They were established. They were like they were
like actually they were like kind of like girly like
(06:35):
they were like unisex gloves, Like they had like little
glittery joints on it, and it looks like they were
like come to an end and they were cutting and
like or like regular just like who came out of
out of the I don't know, they were not. I
thought they were. You are you are a gentleman, though,
you did the wife had on the letterman jacket. Yeah
you saw that. Yeah listen, come on, we were all
(06:57):
over it man, wall to wall coverage. Now, we're not
not going to get into the game. Uh. I mean
that's you know it was. There were there was a
very very defining moment in the game. I mean, we
we had that game. We we were, we were in,
we had taken the momentum. We were we were playing well,
(07:20):
we knew we could play with them. Um but give it,
you know, give it up to Ohio State. Man. They
just you know, I was talking to Troy Vincent last night.
We had a long conversation and he just he put
it in words that kind of like it's just it's
just justified. And I agree with them. You know, it's
a plays for for Ohio State number six. Um, it's
(07:43):
it's just a different animal in Ohio, you know, in
in Columbus as to how they support their program. Man.
But one thing is for certain, which I hope people
taking into consideration and they understand that a gap, the
gap between between o how the State and Penn State
(08:05):
is not it's it's closing. It really is closing. I
can recall maybe three or four years ago, it was
Chase Young's junior year, to be exact. I went onto
the field and I looked at how States team and
I was like, my god, look at these deep like
(08:27):
Chase look at look at these dudes. And then I
looked at US. I was like, Oh, we're gonna get
our asses kicked today. I went on that field this
weekend and I looked at our guys and I looked
at their guys. I was like, I mean I felt
that way when I was in Iowa, but I still
was kind of like Iowa you know. But I was
(08:53):
on the field this weekend and I was like, who,
like Penn State ain't playing around, Like I finally that
a duel for the first time, right, the new the
new sticks like which he is a he is a
gracious dude. Man. I was so happy to meet him. Um,
he's big as hell. He does not look that big
(09:13):
on camera, Like, so there you go. It's like that
deceptiveness again. Micah is the same way like you see
Michael Wish by the way, y'all did see Baby Voice
scored a touchdown on something. Um, but he doesn't look big,
but he's big. Like it's like, what do you mean?
He is deceptively big? And I saw like do I
(09:37):
was like, oh, whoa, he's he's he's he's big, Like
like he's big like me, he's big. And I was
just like, oh yeah. I was like, well, I I
went up and I hugged him and and talked to
him on the sideline, told her and encouraged him to
keep going and you know, keep bawling out this down
to the other and I'll catch up with him. Um.
(10:00):
But just seeing everybody on that sideline as I was
walking around, I was like, man, they are mutants, and
we got an opportunity um to to continue to to
go in the right direction. So I know people are
very critical of coach Franklin for not winning the ranked
games against like the Michigan's and and the Ohio States,
(10:23):
but they really are close, like it's it's it's they
are getting close, and sometimes you gotta see it for
what it's worth versus seeing it for what it is
and in the in the current moment, like losses hurt,
but but we we had a chance, We had a chance.
It's true Aylor time, all right. I think that's I
(10:44):
think that's what we learned. Drew Ayler needs to be
the starting quarterback moving forward. Let's go ahead, let's make
this happen. Uh he was was he He's a five star, right,
Brady drew al and out of out of Ohio, the
Pride of Ohio as a mentor, I think, yeah, and
so yeah, it just it feels like they really try
to rally around Sean Clifford and they wanted for these
(11:06):
big games. It's kind of you know, thank you for
your twenty two years of service here at the Universal
then uh you know, I mean, you know, he just
celebrated his forty birthday. So just you know, it does
feel like Drew Tailer is gonna be uh so, so
at least there's gonna be an upgrade at the quarterback
(11:28):
position you would think for Penn State. And maybe they
do end up keeping closing that gap there. But that
was fun, man, that was fun to watch and how
it played out. And you know, we've got a pac
Man drop. We got you celebrated by the way. Were
you crying on the field when you raised that blaque
out of body experience? Though, Bro, I'll tell you that. Yeah,
it's it's that is that is man just something else,
(11:54):
something else, just the type of love and support connected
to the program and how our fans are and you know,
it's just it's man, just humbling, man, just just with
humbling that you know, so responsive and and and so into.
It's pretty cool. Be sure to catch live editions of

LaVar Errington and Jonas Knocks week days at six am
Eastern three am Pacific on Fox Sports Radio and the
I Heart Radio. All Right, so the big story, one
of the big stories not named Penn State, Ohio State
over the weekend in the world of college football was
Michigan Michigan State. Michigan ran away with that game and
(12:37):
then afterwards the tunnel, there was some chain snatching, there
was some throwdowns. I think one video showed a Michigan
State player take his helmet off and try and beat
that Michigan player in the tunnel and all of that.
So obviously melt Tucker, the Michigan State head coach, apologized. Afterwards,
they announced a suspension of the four players that were
(12:59):
involved for Michigan State. There that we're shown on video
and that there's going to be an ongoing investigation into
the whole situation. Uh. Jim Harbaugh, even though hearing that
apology and hearing some of the words from melt Tucker,
decided he was going to speak his mind on the situation.
Here was the Michigan head coach. To watch the videos
(13:19):
on social media right now. Also the ABC tunnel can
it's in a higher elevation that shows shows much more
of of what took place. Those are sickening to watch.
There needs to be accountability. There needs to be a full, thorough,
timely investigation. I can't imagine that this will not result
(13:40):
in criminal charges. I'm coming from this from a perspective
of being a parent, and these young men are entrusted
to me by their families and to our program, and
we have the responsibility to each player UH to treat
them like our own and I take that responsibility very seriously,
and apology will not get the job done in this instance.
(14:03):
There should be serious consequences for the many individuals that
are culpable and on behalf of the Michigan football team.
Our players are coaches, our staff, our university. UM. This
has been a very traumatic experience. I mean, uhh, I
let it fly there, Jim Harbaugh. Uh, Ultimately, what's going
(14:24):
to happen? Like there, these guys say, there's what criminal charges?
Maybe they get thrown off the team and then what
I mean, it happened. I don't I don't know what
more Jim Harbaugh wants from this, Like it feels like
it was a bad situation. But we were talking about
it yesterday, Brady and I at La Bar. We were saying,
we find it hard to believe that four guys just
(14:45):
jumped that one dude and there was nothing said, like
like nobody said anything, like there was nothing said that
just prompted this in Michigan State just lost their minds
after getting beat in their big rivalry game. It just
it it felt like, I don't know, like there's there's
gotta be a little bit more to a story. Uh.
There there probably is. There always is more to the story.
(15:07):
But I think the bigger story here is he was
just interviewing about how coach Franklin was not a big
enough fish to fry. Is this a big enough fish?
You know? To me, there should be a regulating after
what took place with Penn State instead of sitting there
(15:29):
continuing to kind of downplay what what the tunnel has
become and what it's representing and living in the past
of saying, well, we don't need to change anything. It's
always been this way. Uh, there's a lot of things
that have always been a certain way, and we're starting
to see in society that it wasn't always the best thing.
(15:51):
It wasn't always the best decision, and you have to
start to adapt into adjust. If you're going to keep
one tunnel and one entry point into the arena, no problem,
but manage it much differently than what you're doing. To me,
that seems to be the simple fix for this. This
(16:11):
team goes in right now, they're escorted in. This team
comes next, they go in, and you make sure that
teams aren't intermingling within the tunnel. Simple, simple fix takes
away all of this to put kids in a position,
young men in a position where where now you're talking
(16:35):
about you want to have legal charges brought against them,
You want them to be charged investigation this, and that
they're at a game, they're at a sporting event that
both schools are a part of the responsibility lies on
the figures of of authority to make sure that they
(16:56):
are taking the proper precautionary steps for the those young
men to get and not to mention the women that
are on staff of of some of these schools to
safely get in and out of their of their locker
rooms to sit there and say I I heard you know,
Dan Patrick talked about it. I've heard so many people
(17:17):
talk about It's like, Oh, you think you're tough, you
want to be tough guys, dadad this that another you
should have been tough on the field at that point.
It's not about talking about competition on the field. It's
about the liability that exists by allowing two teams, especially
heat it rivals, if not even heated rival's just an
(17:39):
opponent being in the same space at the same time,
being able to talk to one another, communicate with one another,
and everybody isn't gonna be sitting there like, oh, you're
playing well out there. You know, we're having a good
game together, like keep it up in the next half,
or well, we'll see you next year. Like that's not
(18:00):
realistic to think that, with all of the emotion that
goes into playing these types of games, that going into
the same exact space at the same exact time could
ultimately be a peaceful, peaceful transition from the field to
the locker room or from the locker room to the field.
(18:22):
I think there are more people to be held accountable
on a higher level than the players that were involved
in in the altercation itself. Yeah, I mean look that
to a degree in that I would just say this,
as far as the charges being brought, that's it's justified
one for the actions of the players. We know we
don't know the full details, but you can't be taking
(18:45):
off your helmet and swinging it at some person and
kid who's defenseless out there. After you got drug into
your tunnel and not think you're not going to face
the consequences for doing so. And then Jim harrib on
Michigan has to do that, not only because as they
want to, but also he touched on it like he
is the caretaker of these players when they're under his watch,
(19:07):
and you think the parents would do anything different if
they saw their kid get drug into a tunnel like that.
Regardless of what was said, I don't think it warranted,
you know, getting beat down by four Michigan State players
or however many others that were involved in it. But
I would just say this about the one tunnel, we
have it another This isn't the only place with one tunnel.
(19:28):
I mean in the pros, you've got it in Buffalo,
in Green Bay. You can see Stefon Diggs and Share Alexander,
you know, mouthing off before the game. It happens everywhere, Like, well,
let's stop blaming the tunnel, Like can we just actually
look at ourselves in the mirror and all be more accountable?
Like can we? If you're melt Tucker, can you look
yourself in the mirror and say, is this really what
(19:50):
I'm being compensated for? Is this the type of culture
and environment that I've created that I've sold to parents
to send their young men here to be developed and built.
Are these the type of guys I should be recruiting
if they're gonna act like that and they're gonna do
something like that. I mean, it's all parties involved. Like
I hate how we sit there and we see it
in other places, but we pick and choose when we
(20:12):
want to actually like chime in and go, yeah, you know,
it's it's this, you know, this this this tunnel. Look,
we went there. I went there twice in my career.
Was there drawing back and forth? Of course, like did
it ever come into fisticuffs? Now, But that's part of
the history, it's part of the pastetry of what it is.
There's one way in, one way out, and it's not
the only place like that. So look, we can blame
(20:33):
on the tunnel all we want go go, you know,
dig a different hole into the stadium and find a
different way for the weight team to come out. That's
not gonna stop a skirmish on the field. That's not
gonna stop you know, a fight from breaking out when
they all funnel eventually to go to the buses or
see their families afterwards if they want or whatever. I mean,
just be accountable for for your own actions and what
you're in charge of. Like I feel like this country
(20:56):
always loses sight anytime there's an issue of going, wait
a second before I point the finger at anyone else
or anything else, What could have I done different in
that instance? Right? If you're a melt Tucker, where were you?
Your entire team was up there at that point? Should
you be having someone at making sure that everyone gets
up into the tunnel you got you just got your
(21:17):
butts kicked by your rival. And if you're Jim Horrible,
I don't know the whole story of of why that
player having to be up there at that point in time,
you should probably having your whole team go upen there together,
regardless of that the guy was dressed, wasn't dressed, whatever
the case is. I mean, there just needs to be
more accountability on both parts, both sides, all parties involved.
And it would probably help if the ushers, god bless
(21:37):
their souls, weren't sixty plus with an art card. Okay,
Like that's the other end of this is it's not
like you've gotten beefed up security there. The ushers a
lot of these stadiums, they're there because they love the team,
they love the school. They want to help people get
to their seats. They are not meant to prevent people
from rushing a field, from running onto the field, and
(22:00):
surely from a you know, fight from breaking out between
two teams like Michigan and Michigan State. I mean so,
I just think a level of prevention is you know,
it goes a long way. I totally agree with self accountability.
I think we realize in society a lot of people
(22:21):
aren't self accountable. In fact, a lot of people aren't
even realistic with themselves to be accountable for something that
they're not even aware of. Like it's the It's so
amazing how many people are are just not aware of
what self accountability represents to their self and and for
(22:43):
what that's worth. When you have I don't know how
many people travel these days, I don't know how many
guys travel to away games. But when you have a
large amount of of young young men that are are competing,
I just think that an ounce of prevention goes a
(23:04):
long way. And you know what you just saw. Franklin
from Penn States say that's something whatever it is about
the tunnel. If I'm Mel Tucker, then wait until Michigan
goes in. If I'm if I'm Jim Harball, then wait
(23:24):
until we get in or have have the police officers
that escort you and make sure you're safe when you're
leaving the field. Make sure that there's a level of
security that prevents this type of interaction taking place. I
don't see there being anything wrong with that. You want
(23:44):
to keep the tunnel, keep the tunnel. We well, I
played there as well. We never got into any skirmishes,
and we got our asses kicked in the big house
by that that team that year that I went there.
We didn't go up in there fighting and and and
in craziness because we got we got our our ass
is throttled. You know, we walked into our locker room
(24:06):
and we got our stuff together and we left. Some
people some programs. Some guys do that. Some of these
guys aren't built that way. So you gotta know your audience,
you gotta know your group, You gotta know what the
situation is, and if in doubt, you need to take
the proper, proper steps and making sure those things do
(24:28):
not become an issue or do not become a thing.
I don't understand why guys continue after one week it's like,
all right, here's a here's a warning shot. Bang, Like, Okay,
we saw that happen with Penn State in Michigan. We're
gonna be a little bit more even if I'm Michigan,
We're gonna be a little bit more aware or a
little bit more sensitive to this. We're not just gonna
(24:50):
put this on. Oh, this is what it's always been.
Sometimes you gotta make decisions based off of what the
current situation is giving you. I mean, how much of
a problem though hasn't really been I mean, the Big
House has been around since the nineteen twenties. But that's
that's the reason that you can't you can't justify. You
(25:11):
can't justify that based off of this is how it's
always been. But it's not justifiable. There's been thousands upon
thousands of players and coaches who have walked through there.
You guys being a couple of them, and and I've
never seen you guys on video try and snatch some
dudes Chain on the other team as he came through
(25:33):
is insane to me. That's why I just how are
you able to grab the dudes chain? I mean, he's
he's going through the tunnel. Okay, how are you able
to grab his chain? You shouldn't be close enough to
the other team in that moment, That's what I'm saying. Like,
if if there isn't a level of mutual respect and understanding,
(25:57):
if there should be an ounce of pro mention, uh
thought of prevention, we just lost maybe Michigan. Michigan State
is known for being for what it's worth. I don't
want to sound like that guy, but Michigan State is
known for having dudes that will thump on their team.
Like that's they're known for that. They're known for guys
(26:21):
that will thump. If I'm Michigan, if I'm mel Tucker
and I'm Michigan State, I know some of the type
of guys I have on my team. Know your team,
know your personnel. Don't allow them to be in that
tunnel at that moment in time with Michigan players. Done, Like,
I don't know why it has to be a long
(26:42):
drawn out conversation of anything else done. Don't allow your
players to be close to theirs? Done? Why is that hard?
Be sure to catch live editions of Two Pros and
a Cup of Joe with Brady Quinn, lavarre erin In
and Jonas Knocks week days at six am Eastern, three
(27:03):

to Inside the Parker with Rob Parker on the I
Heart Radio app or wherever you get your podcast. So,
I was taking my kid on he's still really yeah,
So he's, you know, a little over eighteen months old.
LaVar loves when I say that, by the way, the months.
He loves that. He's one big fan. Hey. Quick question
(27:47):
on that note, though, when do you stop using months
in your LaVar? That's interesting because I feel like some
people will do the whole other eighteen months the mean,
would you just say a year and a half? Is
that what you'd say? No? So, if but if let's
(28:07):
say they're like one and eleven, months. Are you saying
there too? At that point you're just saying it still one? Yeah,
they're one. Come on, interesting. I just had this conversation
to like people say, oh, she's twenty six months, she's too.
I just had this conversation with my oldest though, because
(28:29):
last night she goes, how old is Cassidy? And I
was like, well, you know old she is. She goes, well,
you said she's two and a half. I go, well, yeah,
she's actually a little older than that, and she's like,
what do you mean. I go well, and I'd like
break down the math of it, which she's curious getting
into that stuff. But I do think it like tells
a little bit about the person, Like so I don't
know what that exactly tells about Jonas, but he is
(28:51):
he's a months guy. Well here's is he? This is
the way I look at it. It's like gambling. All right,
here we go. So if there's a point spread that's
out that's like say three and a half, all right,
I'm not gonna say it's just three, or I'm not
gonna say it's just four, it's three and a half.
That half counts. That's the hook, as they call it.
So when we're referring to kids ages, I do think
(29:15):
up until a certain age that hook counts. And so
right now we're one and a half and uh, and
I'm gonna call it one and a half, but I
know that LaVar hates it, so I like to uh
to use that the the numbers game there because I
know the noise LaVar, We're fine, annoying, but it's fine.
Your kid is one once. Once they turn one, like
(29:39):
before they turn one, you can use months. But it's
like it's like, okay, if you're going to use months,
then why not use days as well? Why not use
weeks and hours? Why not? Why not use all of them?
Why not use second? Okay? So, I mean it's gonna
(30:00):
be tough to keep tracking anticipates, so I'm trying to
keep tracking of months in a week, in the days.
Hold on a second, So if he's if he's one
year at eleven months, what is he listen? Okay, alright,
(30:24):
one year at eleven months and let's say twenty nine days, Yeah,
what is it is? One? Okay? But but he's but
he's he's twenty three months though, Like that's I mean,
we're staring two years and yeah, like don't you round one,
(30:48):
hold on LaVar, But you can never go back once
you're eighteen months, you ain't going back to being one.
Now you only got two staring you dead in the face.
You know, I just turned thirty eight, Like I can't
go back and be well, I'm really going to be
thirty nine. Like every day moving forward, I'm closer to
thirty nine. How old are you today? I am thirty
(31:11):
eight and stop, don't do that. I don't do that.
Don't do it until you're thirty nine. You're thirty eight,
So bird ship the hill up old than one like
you're one. You're almost two. Though at that point where
(31:33):
he's talking about, well, once you get to two year two,
if you died four days before you were too, would
you be too or would you be one when you died?
How would they report it? Would they say, oh, a
one year old died or would they say a two
year old? You can't say there too because they didn't
(31:53):
make it to two. That's true. I mean it's also
a tragic hypothetical. It is a tragic hypothetical. That's why
I want to make it more so we can stop
talking about Okay, so let's so let's just make this
less confusing, will make it less confusing for everybody involved.
They always say stories, not stats. That's the best radio.
So less confusion. So Brady Quinn who just talked about it,
(32:16):
he's thirty eight years old. So he's four and fifty
six months old. Alright, so we clear here, we clear
so far. You know, I'm just gonna go with that, alright.
So here, here's why I brought this up though. Is
this a common theme amongst tricker treaters? Because we were
kind of cruising around the neighborhood who weren't trigger treating
(32:37):
because he's still really young at that at this age,
and you know, there's another conversation that I want to
get into on the air about why he's not tricker treating.
But point being, um the bird, I'll leave it alone.
Uh do parents just drink while they trick or treat?
Is that it's because you are not judged at all? Okay,
(33:02):
you get to partake in the fun, but you're you're
the difference for you as a candy Maybe it's good.
Like I walked by some and and the person that
was handing out candy handed the pair to drink. Wait,
is this the deal, it's the best. And then by
the way, there's and then for whatever reason, there's excuses
for adults to where whatever they want. And I'm not
(33:24):
gonna say the men necessarily do that, but the women
take full advantage of that. All right, I'll just pa
to leave that there for you, LaVar, because and you
can take that where where you want to go. But
I'm walking around thinking you're walking with your four year
I mean, and you're wearing I've never seen the incredible
(33:45):
this country's built on. Find a way, find a reason.
That's this country's bill con That's true. It does feel
like there's a lot of like justin well, it is Halloween.
Of course you can justify, we'll rationalize whatever we do
in our heads. That's right. Yeah, it's amazing, Yeah, it's amazing.
It's the way it's done. That is the tradition that
(34:08):
you'd continue on forever and ever. I watched a guy
in a golf cart rear end another golf cart because
he was staring at a woman in her costume, and
I thought to myself, thank god, it wasn't a kid
who was like crossing the street, but literally ran into
another golf cart. That's Wow, was he boozing. Yeah, it
(34:32):
wasn't like he hit him like hard, like they were
flying and he just p It was just like kind
of slowly creeping up kind of and and the guy
in front of her friends and they were both made
aware of what they were looking at. Yeah, I I
did not know that was the thing. I walked by
some house and this lady opens the door and the
kids walk or they go trick or treat and they're
really cute their dresses, like a spiderman or something, and
(34:54):
they're handing him some candy and then and then they
just reach up and hand him like a bottle of booze.
I'm like, oh, that's how this is done. I had
no idea. Burtos, so that's the move. You're just drinking
ripping bears. I mean, I wasn't. I was a big
fan of Halloween, but what to have my my daughter?
I'm I love the Halloween even more now I can
walk take a tricken treating and boozing it up and
(35:15):
nobody's got beers in my backpack, my neighborhood beers in
your Yeah, that's that's ridiculous. Has got a jam sport
with a twelve pack of Madela's in it. That's ridiculous.
Good for you that that that's ridiculous, lav You're you're
not drinking having a couple of long islands. No, why not?
(35:39):
Because I'm being responsible over my kids. I'm not letting
them walk into um tunnels with the other team or
anything like that. I'm just making sure I manage my kids.
That's a great point. I'm with you, man, I didn't
if I'm inebriated in any way, if I'm altered in
any way, then it's become more about me then it
(36:00):
has about my kids. No, I'm not drinking while I'm
taking them. Now, if I'm giving out the candy, I'll
set up a nice little uh you know, a nice
little fire where I'm sitting and and turn on some
music and I'll get faded there, Like I'll get faded, faded.
(36:22):
It's called drinking faded like that. I just think it's
fun to say when you drink, like faded is a
word than than you know, drunk. You know. Anyway, I'll
drink while I'm sitting, you know, and doing something like that,
Like while I'm comfortable, I'm safe in the confines of
my own space. And I'll hand out your your candy.
(36:44):
Here's your candy. Little mother sucker, get out of here right,
like take take I mean I give out big candy
bars to like I don't. I don't give out the
like little minis. Like I feel like, if you're gonna
do it, do it. You know church, Church gives out
the big ones, like you get a big Twicks, you
get a big Snickers, you know. Yeah, so like you know,
(37:04):
I don't. But if I'm out and we're walking like
we're on the trail, First of all, I'm old, so
I'll get sore for one, I'll get sore. I'll get
super sore. So if you add liquor into me getting sore,
can't you can't walk when you're when you when you've
been drinking, you've been walking streets and t J rosaried
(37:26):
on when you're drunk of a Grand canyon. But I
feel like it really like I'm on a high wire. Yeah,
well it's because it's a long island. You just gotta
go Servesa, you know, right, you know how many long
islands I had this weekend? You will know. I don't
even I wouldn't be able to tell you it was
(37:51):
so bad. I dropped one in my lap. I dropped
it's a bad stand. I dropped one in my lap
that could look like something else. And I went over
to my I had a tailgate and my my, my
homie shots out to him, my man, DJ Richter. Uh.
I went. I went over to the booth, the DJ booth,
(38:14):
and just started dancing. I said, I'm going to dance
the wetness off. I'm going to dance to dryness. While
I still had the other Long Island in my hand,
while I dance with him being made, I want to
feel that I was dancing. Oh, I saw what you
did there. I danced that wetness right on out of
(38:37):
my pants. I'm going to dance that wetness out of
my pants. Remember that commercial? Yeah, dance with somebody. I
want to uh Michael Jackson right many that was Whitney, Okay,
(39:01):
but I was double fisting like a son of a gun.
Good for you. Yeah. I mean that's when when while
in state college, mattin man, look here man, that them
Long Islands were flowing. Yeah. Man. By the way, since
I I used to be a bar back at Fridays
and Long Island iced teas where the go to for
(39:22):
a lot of people because they were cheap and they
would just get people annihilated. And I know just from
cleaning those glasses, I still have the smell, so I
can just imagine what your trousers smelled. Like. You know
what's crazy is when I go out and I asked
for a long island, I'll ask for it at like
a high end restaurant too, right. I'll be like, yeah,
(39:44):
I take a long island. They're like, oh, great choice,
uh top shelf. Right, I'll be like, no, I want
a rail long alley, Like, hello, do you understand the
point of a long island? Yeah, it's trying to get
(40:04):
it done for less, Like that was the premise of it.
But now I don't try to get it done for less.
When I drink them now, I just really like them.
But I don't want to take away the sanctity of
what a long island represents. Yeah, that's good. That's like
you're trying to get it done for less. So don't
get me no top shelf, Like I don't want top shelf. Yeah,
(40:28):
it's ridiculous. Listen, I do think it's worth top shelf
at my Yeah, I didn't ask for him to be.
I do think this is worth mentioning here on the
heels of Monday night football. Last night, you know, the
Cleveland Browns fans are still feeling great about that performance.
But today we're drinking long They probably were, and if
they're wearing you know, those dog masks, it makes it
(40:49):
that much more difficult. You got to use a long straw.
Whatever it is. They're heading into the buye week feeling
good about themselves. Uh, make no mistake about it. Their
season is over. It is over the Browns. It's over.
And that I mean that went left really quickly. I'm
just saying at Miami, at Buffalo coming out of the
(41:10):
BI and then you got the Bucks, and then you
get Deshaun Watson back. Your your three and five is
a stands right now. You're probably going to be three
and eight by the time Deshaun Watson gets back. It
is over. It ain't happening. So celebrate all you want
about last night. You know, you're your head coach who
was a werewolf stunt, double congratulations, you got it done.
(41:31):
Joe Burrow cannot beat the Browns, but nonetheless, uh, they
are finished. I don't care what happened last night. It
is over for that seems to be a little drastic man. Okay,
well just say man, I didn't get to have a
beer while I trigger treated like you guys did, so
a little piste off about it now now that I
find out it's a thing. Fox Sports Radio has the
