I I really do feel bad, and this isn't a
shot that actually kind of is all right. So I
(01:49):
don't want to make you think that we're going to
open up this show after everything that went down in
the National Football League and talk about the NBA, because
we're absolutely not. Okay, we pay the NBA. It's proper
attention when need be. But I'll just say this right
the National Basketball Association has been holding on to a
(02:10):
couple of things over the NFL. Right, They've been holding
onto a couple of things. One of them was Christmas
Day games, and the other was a busy trade deadline
unlike the NFL. And it's gone. You can go ahead
and put a wrap on that, and that will go
ahead and do it. As as Johnny Ringo once said,
smell that smells like someone died, And that would be
(02:32):
the NBA's advantage over the NFL and those two categories,
Brady Quinn, because we had ourselves a damn trade deadline
day yesterday, how about it? How about historic? Alright, the
most trades ever in a single deadline day for the NFL.
In fact, even even the week leading up to it,
it was the most trades we've ever seen in NFL history.
So here's what I love about this. We had a
(02:54):
I mean, this is all cause and effect of all
the new general managers that have recently taken over a
lot of young guys, you know, some bullish guys, some
guys who are willing to take some risks, some guys
who are willing to just sling for some previous guys
slinging around get some draft picks. Put it all out there,
you know, show you, show you what you're working with. Yeah, yeah,
(03:14):
laying on the table, here's what we got. This is
what I'm working with. Who wants to do business? There
were there were a couple of trains though that were
some head scratch or that kind of left you go what. Yeah,
it's very very odd some of the decisions that were
made by a couple of teams, a couple of historic
franchises who pulled off a deal that does have some ramifications.
(03:36):
I'll say this though. Man, you're in South Florida. Good
for the Dolphins, all right, Bradley Chubb comes over, they
go out, They bring in Jeff Wilson, who's a solid
running back. He had some some time spent with Mike
McDaniel in that offense at San Francisco. He posted good
numbers there. Did you not see that? They actually just
announced that, Um they're there four by meter relay team.
(03:59):
If they're now set between Jeff Wilson, who's run the
fastest time according to Next Gen stats this season, that
will almost twenty one miles per hour on a run
earlier this year where he most who comes from a
track background, probably could have qualified for Olympic standards, as
has Jalen Waddle and Tyreek Hill. This isn't a joke.
This is the fastest team in the NFL. There clearly
(04:21):
was an idea behind how Mike McDaniel and Chris Career,
the general manager, want to construct this roster. And then
there's the go ahead and add edge rusher who's having
his best year in Bradley Chubb, which is a weakness
for this defense. So the Dolphins, you'd have to come
away and say short term, clearly are the winners and
they feel like they've got a shot to go all
in to go into the playoffs. Look, we just need
(04:43):
to get them into the playoffs. I think they're fun
as hell, and we've talked about it before, just to
that offense, McDaniel, just the whole vibe there has completely changed.
When was the last time it was like this in
your time in South Florida? When was the last time
there was this much excitement about it? Even the Adam
Gates playoff team where Matt Moore got to updated, I
don't feel like I don't feel like that was anywhere
(05:04):
close to this. It just feels like like there's something
going on. There are you asking for the last time.
Hopefully league can help me out with this, or Roberto
for that matter, but are you asking for the last time?
They'd say the Fiends to the lid Fiends. They've been
saying that a lot this year, but before this year,
it'd be tough because because, as you said, even with
(05:25):
that playoff run, the hard thing about it was Matt
Moore comes in literally Halloween, you know, comes a little early.
I guess that year since they got into the playoffs
and Matt Moore was walking around without his head on.
And then you had Ryan Tannan who had the lingering
knee issues. So even after all the optimism where everyone
(05:45):
was excited, they're like, how's the playoff team? Imagine? Once
what's what's Ryan Tannehill comes back in the second year
and he had that poor partially torn a c L
that it ended up being just botched the entire next season.
What's spoiled everything? So I would say it's probably sin
that Chad Pennington year after they turned everything around from
from going worse to first, I would say that's the
(06:07):
last time I can recall that sort of fins to
the lid Fiends to the rock. Okay, so let me
ask you this, because you brought up the relay team, well,
because Lead to Lap is uh he's this morning. He's
a fraudulent Jimmy Buffett fan. Alright, he he pretends to
be a Jimmy Buffet fan, but really he just uses
(06:27):
him for his margarita's. So he has no interest in
wanting to cheer on Jimmy Buffett. That's all. That's all
a hoax. It's all a bunch of crap. And so
Lead the Lap would rather just suck down a bunch
of margharita's. He basically siphons margarite is out of a
gas can and then and then pretends like he knows
his whole catalog, when reality is, we've been calling for
fins on the left, fins on the right, and Lead
(06:48):
a Lap is nowhere to be found. Here we go. God,
what a bad song? Oh bad bangs? Alright? You got
a hard rock all right? Watch the Dolphins play. This
gets you going, Oh yeah, you want the Raiders? You
(07:12):
come on? All right? So let's while this song is
firing up on the speakers across America, let me ask
you this. Let's talk about this relay team. Who's got
what positions Tyree Kills the closer? Correct, he's the anchor
of this relay to relay team in Miami, And then
do it anymore like is that always your fastest guy?
Some people will mix it up. They'll have like the
(07:33):
third leg be your fastest, and then the anchors like
the second fastest. And I don't know, I'm not like
I would think we'd want Tyree Kill to close fiends
to the right. What a bad song. So I would
think we'd want to close with Tyree Hill on this
relay team. And then to start, you would need are
(07:56):
we gonna go Jeff Wilson to start? Based on they're
all so fast? I don't know. I would say waddles
the second leg because I think raheem most start as
a better start. Let waddle get the flying twenty going
into Jeff Wilson the third leg, and then Tyreek Kills
our anchor. What a team. Now. I don't want to
ruin or spoil the fun, but I I had in
(08:19):
depth conversation with my my buddy Pete Prisco, and one
of the things we discussed yesterday, I know, Pete, you
want to face time. Pete. While we were eating dinner,
together and Pete had no shirts. Well, yeah he was.
It was late at night and we were trying to
avoid some riff raff um. Yeah, anyway, I digress. One
(08:41):
of the things he mentioned that I'm curious to get
your thoughts on this. This offense looks great in a
dome versus Detroit down in Miami with the weather is great.
What's this office is gonna look like? What's the weather
turns extending to uh to go and to go somewhere
up north where it's snowy and windy and be a
what to do? What he's been doing? That's I think
(09:02):
the biggest question is we I don't know. I haven't
really seen that yet. Yeah, okay, so they're going They're
not going to win the division, right. I don't think
they're winning the division, which they have a win over Buffalo. Yeah,
but I mean if they start to string off a
bunch of wins, I don't know that the I don't know.
I'll put it this way, the way they've looked with
two us starting and finishing games, the way he gets
(09:24):
start and finish, I think they've got a shot to
win it. Okay, So here's where we're looking. The playoffs
standings Right now, the Bills are one if if the
playoffs started today. This is a fun little exercise as
we wax poetically about the great Miami Dolphins with this
atrocious theme song. They play games, but then also have
to just tie it and bearing it all full too. Yeah,
(09:44):
it's a fence to the left, fins to the right.
Jimmy buff Is this what it's called, Jimmy buff Let's
go live to our fins? I know the name of
this bad song inside or lead to laugh of the
latest league? Yes, it is fins. Now this gets you going?
Is this like the one Jimmy Buffett's song that Hey guys,
we're gonna turn it up in here? Is it this song?
Are you kidding me? Man? He just snorted a Cadillac
(10:06):
margharite off justin Cooper's chest right before he left the
steward around. What are you talking about? The whole catalog
moves me. It certainly does, all right? So if the Dolphins,
the Dolphins are gonna have to go on the road
in the postseason if they don't win the division, all right?
So Miami at Tennessee, how we feeling? I mean? I
(10:30):
like their chances if they can stop Derrick Henry, Yeah,
which I think I think I can. They could throw
it around on Tennessee. Okay, at Baltimore, they've already beat Baltimore,
but that was was that defense. The defense has improved
at Kansas City. You know, it's get a little little
(10:51):
difficult stuff in here. I don't know, I don't know
if it's I don't know if it's happening. Yeah. Now,
the Jets are currently in the playoffs as it stands
right now, they are the five seeds, So that's win.
I mean, that's basically whoever gets the Jets, that's the
second bye week, which is kind of the NFL to do,
to be able to implement a second bye week. And
then you've got the Chargers who are currently the seven seeds.
So it does feel like the road's gonna get a
(11:12):
little bit choppy for the Miami Dolphins. But you know,
at least we could celebrate they won the trade deadline.
They got something going there. It's a fun operation, it's
fun to watch, and they got the best relay team
in the NFL. And come on that. Any part of
you feel like their activeness with the trade deadline this
year was this much about them investing into TWA and
(11:35):
what they believe and where they believe their team is now,
but maybe also Chris Greer, who remember their general manager,
Chris Greer won the power struggle between him and Brian
Flores with Stephen Ross, who Brian Flores is now up
with the Pittsburgh Steelers, you know, acting as an assistant
of Swords. It's going well up there. Well there's that comment,
(11:56):
and then and then you look at Miami. He's gone,
and it looks like, hey, this is a team that
is quarterback that you don't want to buy into. I
drafted I want you to buy into, you don't want
to do it. And now Chris Career brings in is
able to bring a guy and Mike McDaniel who understands
how to get the most out of him, and that
that's that's more what I think is on display right now.
It's almost like a Chris Greer, Hey, Brian Flores, I
(12:19):
told you so, you should have bought into this guy
instead of jerking him in and out of the lineup
in games. It feels a little bit like it's kind
of like, hey, how do you like them apples? And
it is pretty funny that Brian Flores left Miami, they're
having a great season. He goes to Pittsburgh and they're
having the worst season they've had in like twenty years.
That's like your ex. You probably break up after all
(12:39):
these years. Your ex gets into phenomenal shape, and then
your current person you're dating turns into a drug addict.
It's like, man, anywhere I go, I can't catch your
break here alright. My past is winning, my present is losing.
What a disaster. And I don't want to make it
like they didn't have success under Brian Flores. They won games.
It's just how he handled that position I think ultimately
(13:02):
was one of the straws that broke the camel's back.
Outside of the other allegations that he made. Only he
and Stephen Ross or whoever else was a part of
that knows truly what was said or what transpired. But
the reality is they're doing just five with two as
their starter, and and who knows where they'd be had
he actually left them in some games to finish the
(13:22):
games and to continue to grow and develop. Yeah, it's
it's gonna be fun to see the Miami Dolphins continue
fins up baby and the Dolphins are back, the big
winners of the NFL trade deadline. All right, it is
two pros and a cup of Joe. Here Fox Sports
Radio Brady Quinn Jonas knocks withal the here he can
hang out with us is always on the I Heart
Radio app. By the way, the Breeders Cup, Yeah sounds fun.

(14:06):

some burgoo, which we have been told is a fine
little dish like a steward. Yeah, at the race track there,
you know, get get down on a little bit on
some of the ponies and you know, taking all the
all the events there. Yeah, you know, like you know,
(14:27):
maybe you know some action there, you know, track side
if there's a race going on, you. Yeah, you know,
you know, just gonna be uh what did you think about?
I don't know. And let me tell you something. A
lot of you can get a lot of stuff done Tijuana,
you know what I mean. Like you walk go to
Tijuana like ten dollars in your pocket, You'll walk away
(14:49):
with a house, a car, a family, and like multiple
diseases that you didn't know existed. Like it is all
for ten bucks. But again, we're not here to set
up anybody's travel plans. Uh shout out Barrett Robbins. Not
not interested in any of that stuff here. We're trying
to focus on the positives here on Fox Sports Radio.
(15:09):
But we are going to take you all the way
up until nine am Eastern time, six o'clock Pacific right
here on FS. Are gonna have the usuals later on
in case you missed it. We've got our midweek Awards.
We're gonna hand out the good, the bad, and the ugly.
We've got the beak Q News, the old p Petros
Papaga is gonna stop by. It's a three hour extravaganza
here from the tire rack dot Com Studios. Coming up next,
though one team in the NFL has done it again.
(15:33):
They continue to amaze people around the league in their
inability to finally produce something this time of year. We'll
tell you who that is next here on FS are
be sure to catch live editions of Two Pros and
a Cup of Joe with Brady Quinn, LaVar Errington and
Jonas Knocks week days at six am Eastern three am
(15:54):
Pacific on Fox Sports Radio and the I Heart Radio.
Here again Foo, speaking of bad songs, I thought this
(16:16):
would be one of your champs. By the way, how
dare you play this on a day like this? Burdoh,
God Smack. By the way, my wife she'd throw you
holy water on you. I probably have some of my
bags she put in. Be honest with you. But you
know why they call their The band's name is God Smack,
(16:39):
name of an Alison Chain song that was their favorite band. Yeah,
true story, how about it? Brady told me that during
the break, didn't I could have sworn your God. I
could have sworn Uh. It is Two Pros and a
Cup of Joe here Fox Sports Radio. No LaVar Arrington,
but Brady Quinn and I will have you covered for
the next couple of hours here on FS arm Uh
(17:02):
We're going to get to one team in the NFL
who continues to do what they do. But hey, man
on the Yallowhorne of the Twin Cities k Fan, where
our friends are listening for the next few minutes here
on fs are How about the Vikings given Kirk Cousins
another weapon yesterday? Huh? How about the interdivision t J.
Hockenson trade to Minnesota. I mean, they they're kind of
(17:24):
stacked on offense. Two thoughts on this one, the first
being inside your own division. You know, I called that
initial game earlier this year. It was a close game,
and I think you look at the Troit Lions lost
a lot, but they're losing a lot close and t J.
Hockenson was one of the more consistent pieces within that offense.
(17:45):
So it signals to me, is is Jamison Williams coming
back soon? We haven't heard much about that. There's reports
that they did expect to see him this year, their
first round pick, the explosive wide receiver from Bama. But
if if that's not the case, if he's not coming back,
what is that signaling at this point? Is Dan Campbell
(18:06):
safe or not? Because I feel like with the losses mounting,
and as bad as their defense has been, I don't
know that. It's why is the trade away not only
one of your best offensive weapons but within your own division? Yeah,
I mean between Justin Jefferson and Dalvin Cook and Adam
Feeland although theland feels like he's always banged up, like
(18:26):
there's always some sort of a problem going on, getting
to that point, I think in his career. Yeah, Um,
and just you see what they've got operating there. I
mean they're six and one. Uh, they're the quietest six
and one team in the history of the National Football League.
And uh, in fact, I don't even think there's a
number two. And why I don't think there's a number
two is because I haven't thought that far I had
on the take. So I'm just gonna go, I mean,
(18:46):
to your point, Look, they beat the Package. The Packers
don't look very good this year. Who else do you
look at and go, all right, like that was a
great win. I guess you see in Miami, But I
don't think two. It wasn't playing then. So you start
to kind of go back and look through all of it.
You're going, I don't know, and I'm really sure, like
how good this team is yet I think there's still
(19:06):
a lot there's still there's still a lot to find
out about the VIC. I think Minnesota in the NFC, Like,
first of all, I think the two best teams in
the NFC our Philadelphia and Dallas. And then I would
say the crap out of the yeah, and so I
would say outside of Philly, Minnesota can play with anybody
(19:27):
in the NFC. And then look, because it's a you know,
it's a one off situation in the NFL playoffs if
Philly ends up getting beat I mean Minnesota, it's not
that far fetched to think they could be hosting an
NFC title game. We're hosting a couple of playoff games
with a chance to go to a Super Bowl. I mean,
think about that. And by the way, there's been a
lot of people with a lot of takes on Kirk
Cousins and just sort of his trajectory and what he
(19:50):
is as far as a quarterback and all that. Man,
he's he's not that far outside the conversation of being
one of the better quarterbacks in the NFC right now.
And I people don't want to hear that. I know
people don't like it. But when you look at NFC
quarterback play. As far as consistency goes, this year it's
Jalen Hurts And then how far down do you go
before you get to Kirk Cousins. Well, I think the
(20:12):
question it really comes down to how many more primetime
games are gonna have? That's that's insulting. Again, it's true.
I mean they do play a Thursday night game coming
up later on this month. I mean, we'll see how
it looks. Then. Do you think the Vikings put a
request into the NFL and say, hey, we're going to
get any playoff games, they've got to be Sunday at
noon and Central time, just because we want to make
sure we keep this train rolling. Do you think the
(20:33):
Vikings part of this conversation. Yeah, you know, I'm sure
that's part of the conversation, which, by the way, not
not to get off on a on a somber vote
note um the thoughts and prayers to the zimmer Field.
I knew Adam. I was there with him for a
year in Kansas City. UH really really bright young man.
UH coach loved his players. Went through a tragedy there
with Chavan Belcher, who was one of the guys in
(20:54):
the linebacker room there, but just a sad, sad deal
and gone far too soon. It's awful. Thirty eight years old, right, jeez.
And and just came out of nowhere. I think was
it was his sister who posted a message on social media,
just a really heartfelt message and everyone was just stunned
by it. So that's a bummer. That's a bummer. And
(21:16):
again condolences to the family there. Um, it's that's a
rough way, rough way to go and they're dealing with
a lot, and especially with the holidays coming up. That's uh,
that's awful. So it is two pros and a cup
of joe here on fs R and fellas, it's time
to stop treating your groins like junk. Introducing the Gillette
Intimate Pubic Care Trimmer, a gentle and easy shade from
(21:37):
America's number one trusted men's grooming brand. Show your pubic
regions some respect with Gillette Intimate, the best a man
can get. Sure do we sure? Do? Um? You want
to go back in time? Because I do think this
is pretty funny. This was Mike McCarthy years ago when
he was head coach with the Green Bay Packers, and
(21:58):
Mike McCarthy was asked about the trade deadline that year
for the Packers. Here was the back and forth, what's
the trade deadline? Like? They're on there a lot of
conversation or just standard. I thought it was next week.
Oh no, that's what's like. So apparently we have not
(22:22):
progressed much because the Green Bay Packers very quiet. The
Packers are, uh, there's a lot of conversation about potentially
some wide receiver help, but a lot of discussions about
are they going to finally make a move and get
Aaron Rodgers some help. Rogers was on with your brother
in law, a jay Hawk and Pat McAfee yesterday and
then said he was hoping to get some news while
he was doing the interview. No news came, and the
(22:44):
Packers stay quiet again, and they're just gonna have to
roll with what they got through the remainder of the season.
It seems like, and hope these young wide receivers developed
with Rogers. So what sounded like what they wanted was
Chase Claypool. Yeah, obviously ended up getting dealt from pitts Burg,
but to your Chicago Bears, not to the Green Bay Packers.
So a division foe although that it's a little more
(23:06):
of a head scratcher for me with the Bears. Move
and and and hang with me for a second. I
know they need more draft picks for the future. We
talked about Ryan Poles, their young general manager in his
first year, having a lot of guys who have been contributors, right,
you know, Brisker Gordon their secondary, that their left tackle
as well, Baillis Jones has played as well as some others.
(23:27):
But you gave away a veteran Robert Quinn, who I mean, look,
he hasn't had the best year this year. He was
great last year, but your defense has struggled mightily. So
I'm not sure you can just walk away from one
of your more stable veteran pieces and and exchange for what.
And then you look at Rokwan Sith Maybe they, you know,
feel like he's a bit overrated or for the compensation
(23:49):
they got an exchange. They want to move forward, but
they haven't really been able to stop the run. And
so what does that mean now? I mean all seriousness, like,
you just trade away two of your are veteran players.
What does this mean for the rest of the season,
and you bring in Chase Claypool, But eventually you're gonna
have to pay him here shortly. And I'm not gonna
say he's unproven. He said flashes of what he's capable
(24:12):
of being a good player, and he gives you a
different body type compared to Darnell Mooney to evaluate justin fields,
but defensively, it looked like you're rebuilding offensively, you're bringing
the guy to help out your quarterback. It just feels
like you're hedging your somewhere down the middle. So I
think the Bears were the team that kind of was
more along the lines of like WTF, man, Like what's
(24:33):
happening here? I I didn't get it. And then the compensation.
It was the second round pick, and some people thought, well,
maybe it'll be the second round pick that the Raven center,
but no, no, it's gonna be the Bears second round pick.
And the Packers reportedly, this was something that was put
out yesterday, was that, yeah, the Packers were trying to
get Chase Claypool. The reason the Steelers did the deal
(24:54):
with the Bears is because they felt like the Bears
second round pick would be a lot higher than the
Packers second round pick. We've seen this before. That's why
the Khalil macdeal got done between the Raiders and the
Bears and not the Packers because the Raiders felt like
the Bears were going to have a much higher pick.
And that was the year that McCarthy ended up getting fired.
(25:16):
That was the year green Bay completely fell apart and
the Bears were a lot better. And then it ended
up kind of blowing up in in the Raiders face
a little bit there because they didn't get the draft picks.
They thought, I just I didn't get it. Um uh.
And at this point, this is just how the Packers
are gonna operate, right, I mean, this is just gonna
be what it's gonna be. They're not going to be
active like this. They're not going to So it wasn't
(25:39):
that surprising. It just it's funny how there's always conversation
about green Bay making a move, and then a move
never seems to come. Well, Brian kutten Couns, I think
has been more active than than other general manager, let's
say Ted Thompson, at least during the course of free agency.
You know that that's been one of the gripes too.
So baby steps when it comes to green Bay Packers fans.
(26:00):
It also doesn't mean that they didn't make calls to
Carolina about DJ Mortar, to the Denver Broncos about Jerry Judy.
And we'll get to the Broncos by the way, because
we talked about the Bradley Chubb trade to Miami from
Miami's perspective, but I'm not buying what's coming out of
Denver with that. Uh. And maybe we can get to
in another segment. But in this in this spot, like
(26:21):
I look at it and say, Okay, they didn't want
to make a move where they value those draft picks,
probably more so than other organizations because of how they
build their rosters. But there's also an element of it
sounds all good and great that you're trading for these players,
eventually you have to re up them. What does your
cap situation look like? You know, right now, the Packers
are gonna be paying a lot of money to Aaron
(26:42):
Rodgers over the course in the next two years, and
you can't really you can't really refinance if you will,
with Rogers because then you'd have to extend him out
in years where he's probably not playing for your team,
so at hamstrings your future cap. So that's part of
the issue with the current situation with the Packers cap
situation and making a move for any of these guys
(27:05):
is you could eventually pay them in a year and
a half. I mean, that's why they're tradable assets. They're
valued commodities. So they might have made offers or tried
to to get some of these guys but just didn't
feel like it was going to work. And I'll also
say this, just because you bring a guy on doesn't
mean it's going to work, and it doesn't mean he's
gonna fit, you know, especially during the season. Takes a
while to get those guys at the speed. So, uh,
(27:26):
maybe they just feel like this is a better path
for them moving forward. Is Green Bay gonna make the playoffs?
It's it's hard to think that they won't be able
to win enough games to be a wild card team
at this point. But look, Minnesota already beat them. What
week was a week one? Uh? Yeah, it was week
one to open They already beat them. They look like
right now they're just playing more consistent, better football. But
(27:50):
if you think Green Base still in the hunt at
this point, like go sprinkle some money on them to
win the division or go sprinkle some money on them
to win at least make the playoffs. I mean, I
don't know that that's that's you might not get a
ton of value for the playoffs, but maybe for the division.
At this point, plus seven hundred to win the division
on DraftKings, so seven to one. So for you those
are you rookies out there, you novices, Uh, seven to
(28:12):
one means you bet a hundred dollars you win seven
hundred dollars back. If the Packers win the division. The
the Minnesota Vikings are nine to one favorite, So that's
a minus nine hundred. You gotta late nine hundred even
one a hundred from Minnesota to win. Here's the crazy
part about it is we've been saying this like week
after week, and we're getting to that point of the
season where you're like, oh, maybe this just isn't who
(28:32):
they are, but Tampa Bay in Green Bay. Every time
I'm going like a game Premium going yeah, this is
the week they're gonna turn around, Like this is the
week it's gonna be different, Like this week Bucks hosting
the Los Angeles Frands, this is the week it's gonna
be different, is it? I don't know. I mean, that's
the hard thing about these teams right now with the
way you know, Rogers and the Packers offense and Brady
and the and the Tampa Bay Bucks have played. You
(28:55):
keep hoping and you keep saying, no, no, it's Tom Brady,
it's Aaron Rodgers. They'll turn this thing around. Maybe not
like maybe this is just one of those off seasons
for each one of them. Yeah, it's it's gonna be
fun to see how that all plays out. And who knows,
maybe some of these some of these young receivers start
to figure it out with Aaron Rodgers. You know, remember
the relax Here they were struggling, he said, relax. Next thing,
you know, they're making a Super Bowl run. So he
(29:16):
needs another catchphrase. That's what he needs, I think. So
what should it be, Um, relax that or I need
to be like gid up at this point. Yeah, that's
a great point. That is a great point. Maybe, um,
you know, don't do drugs or or like don't lick it,
don't lick a toad in the off season, you know
something like that. You know, well, because apparently that's one
(29:39):
of the things to where it's like a psychedelic drug
is like you lick a toad, like that's what I've heard,
Like there's like like something on a toad's back that
turns into a psychedelic drug. I swear to god. So
is he actually licking the toad's back or is it
like the stuff that comes off the toad's back. I
think so you're ingesting. Well, I don't know if it's like, uh,
you know, like a rail shot at a bar where
(30:00):
you clean up the bar and then you ring it
out into a shot glass and somebody does it. I
don't think they wipe toad's back and then ring it
out into a shot glass and you do it. I
think you actually pick up a toad and you lick it.
Is there anything worse than a real shot? No, it's
disgusting like it because it's it's every single germ that
ever existed in that bar, that entire day at the restaurant,
(30:22):
and it's all going into one shot glass and you
gotta drink it. And I've seen people do it and
it's absolutely revolted. Gross. Yeah, I only and like most
guys are picturing, will probably not you know, I might
have some coyote ugly situations there, and there's a problem
with that. All these women now are eating these evils. Okay,
I don't know if you've seen what that stuff looks
like coming out, but it is not. Yeah. So they're
(30:45):
all looking slim and nice and el yeah, and then
they all of a sudden sit on the bar and
there's a little extras for you in that shot, Buddy,
I just need Yeah, that is uh, that's uh, that's
the most right there. You want what's the most disgusting
name Brady has ever said on the air. That We'll
(31:07):
go with that, but it's a yeah, it's better than
some of the things I've said. I'll say that. By
the way, any first responder will tell you never try
to beat a train after breaking and take a mile
for a train and completely stops when you come to
a rail crossing stop, because trains can. All right, it's
coming up next. This is maybe the least surprising news
in the world of sports. Somebody really really relieved right now,

ten minutes from now. But fellas, especially you, Brady, it's

(33:17):
can't get to everything in the world of sports or entertainment.
Good thing, the guys are here to bring you in
case you missed it, and for that we turned it
over to our executive producer Lee Digital Lap Guys, in
case you missed it. After a two and six start
to the season, the Nets and Steve Nash have agreed
to part ways, and in the meantime, the Nets have
(33:39):
agreed to bring back Email Doca as their next coach.
Is this official? Is the email stuff official? It could
become official as soon as today, that being Wednesday. UM
guess this? I mean, so Steve Nash decided the part
ways that it was it was amicable, right, like they
both agreed to go their separate ways. Did they make
(34:00):
the playoffs last year? They did, but they got swept?
And how much is that on? On? On? Like an
NBA coach? Like that's why I never really understand with
the NBA. Well also, I mean it's like all the
players and stars just blame the coach. And and by
the way he nets read the room, dude like, so
you've got all this controversy with Kyrie Irving, you got
(34:23):
all the all the stuff that's gone on there. So hey,
here's the solution. Let's bring in the let's let's bring
in the guy who's got all the allegations against him
in Boston. He just went to the finals, he was
two wins from an NBA championship, and he's out as
head coach because stuff was so egregious behind the scenes
with him. And I'm telling you right now now that
(34:43):
he's the fact that the Celtics are letting him go
to Brooklyn and they're not asking for anything in return.
It's only a matter of time before somebody finally reveals
all that went on with the Emao Doka. Now that
he's going to be back in the league and now
he's going to be head coach of the Nets. All
the matter of time before that stuff it's leaked out.
I can promise you what a what a terrible move.
(35:04):
I don't necessarily doubt that, but it does feel a
little Dan Snyder esque like, hey, don't look at this,
don't look at this. Look over here. Let's go high
a head coach, take some pressure off one of I
don't know, right star athletes. I don't know. Yeah, by
the way that Kyrie stuff Man did that? Did that
go poorly for him? Yeah? What are you doing? Dude?
(35:25):
Oh my god? At some point, don't you just want
to just play basketball? You know, like just make millions
of millions of dollars and just play basketball and just
you know what's wrong with that? Just playing ball? You know,
no drama, nothing, you know, nothing else. Here's the flip side, though,
is every time an athlete is a bad interview or
(35:46):
it doesn't say anything like I was having this conversation
with one of my buddies last night about Derek Jeter
because Derek Jeter was on the Fox World Series coverage
and he's like, oh, great, we get to hear again
nothing compelling from dear cheater. And I was like what.
I was like, He's one of the greatest of all time.
And he goes, no, He's like, no one's disputing that.
(36:06):
He goes he just doesn't bring anything. He goes that
thirty for thirty on him was more of like a
Yankees pump up than it was anything about Jeter, and
he goes and he was the most compelling piece in
that entire thirty for thirty was the fact that Alex
Rodriguez made the most truthful statement is that because that
team was so talented, Jeter really didn't have to be
(36:27):
the hero. So I don't know, I feel like it's
just it's it's it's a catch twenty two right now.
As an athlete, you can't win. Like either you say
what you're thinking that people are like, well you're an idiot,
or you don't, and then you're boring, you're this, you're that,
and and you know, you don't get any exposure. Guys.
In case you missed Jerry Jones dressing as a blind
(36:48):
official on Halloween, many were quick to point out that
he could be fine due to the uh NFL rules,
saying that you can in any way question the integrity
of the NFL game officials on he just needed the cane.
He's getting that age, Yeah, like, what's you know? And
he wears the sunglasses at night, yeah, I know, like
some of the like is the NFL really hurting for money?
(37:10):
They gotta find everybody, Like is that is that what
we're getting at here? Like they find Jamal Adams for
some penalty after he was ruled out for the year
with the with the injury suffered, like week one, you know,
d J. Moore gets fine gets you know, they get
a penalty because d J. Moore took his helmet off.
I'm sure he's gonna get fine for that as well too,
(37:30):
Like don't you have enough money at this point? Like
do you really need to find Jerry Jones? Are dressing
like a blind raff? What's wrong with that? Again? I
feel like he's getting that age, he's got deniability. Maybe
he just needed a cane and you know those lights
are kind of brighten there for Halloween. Can I can
I tell you a Halloween costume I saw that was
so so offensive Back in the day. I went to
(37:51):
a bar and this was after the whole Michael Vick
stuff was going on, and some guy walked in with
a Michael Vick jersey and a fake dog on a leash,
Like it was the most instilling thing I've ever seen.
