So we do have a matchup in the NFL and
the NFC South it up later on tonight. It is
the Falcons at the Panthers little Amazon Prime Thursday Night
football there. So so get ready for some sub five

(02:10):
hundred teams doing battle on a Thursday night as we
get set for Week ten in the National Football League.
And then there's this other battle that's been going on
the entire season, and it's the subtle digs in the
back and forth between Pete Carroll and Russell Wilson. And
so here's the the situation in the setup so Pete
Carroll's getting ready for a game coming up in Germany

(02:32):
against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, first ever game in Germany.
And so, after the Seattle Seahawks won this past weekend,
he was on local radio in Seattle, and he was
just talking about Geno Smith's relationship with the current offensive
coordinator there in season, Stike In so Pete Carroll U.

(02:56):
He made sure to point out the differences between Geno
Smith and maybe somebody who happened to hold the quarterback
position more recently there in Seattle. Take a listen the
long relationship of sitting there and watching this scheme and
the and the concepts and the situations that you know
has in his background, and then then putting it together

(03:17):
with Shane's communication Shane, He's getting everything he can get
out of Shane. Shane helps him all the way through
to the you know, to the fifteen second point. I
mean they're just communicating to get it done, and there's
this conversation that goes on and so they work it out,
and Gino's taking advantage of all of that. If you
notice was going off the off the wristband, that's a
big help. It's it's it's smooth things out, sped things up,

(03:41):
clean things up, and and that's that's part of it too.
And and you know we never did that before. There
was resistance to that, so we didn't do that before.
So so there was some resistance to that before. And
so of course Russell Wilson was asked about it, and
here was Here was Russ's response. I don't know exactly
what he said, but but I think you know, I

(04:01):
won a lot of games there without one on the
rist of I didn't know winning or losing matters if
you were riskin or not. So that's about as harsh
as Rusk its. Why can't Pee Carroll just let it go?
Why is it he's he's constantly taking a shot at
Russell Wilson. It's all year, He's done this all year.
He's taking digs at him. He's because he's not taking

(04:22):
a direct shot. You know. Everything's like um, like a
warning shot or close and in the proximity. It's not
directly at him. And I think he likes playing the game.
He's a guy that loves being motivated like he he
every single day when I was there, every single day
was a competition, like he had the scoreboard working it

(04:42):
was offense for his defense, whatever the case was, in
the quarterback room for throws like all that stuff. Everything
was always a competition. It's always compete, like that's one
of the things he talks about, always compete. And I
think in his mind like this is a competition. He's
looking at where Seattle, he's looking at where Denver is,
and he's keeping tabs. Is our offense better? Is our

(05:04):
quarterback play better? Is our team better? Are we gonna
have a better season? I think he's trying to keep
tabs on all of it. And this is one example
that I don't know why he's using the wristband as
an example of that, but I think it's what it
does is it points out an issue that Denver had
earlier in the season. Remember what they were struggling with
early in the season. Time time, and the wrist band

(05:31):
expedites the play calling process. So so think about this.
For example, if I was gonna say zero slots the
six double Sames snow alert fordy double cats on one,
you have to say that in the headset once to
the quarterback right, because he gets the speaker in his
helmet and then he's repeating it again. As opposed to
saying so on our wristband. All you do is you

(05:55):
have all of your plays on your wrist band in
a right formation. So let's say you go into the game,
but a hundred fifty plays, you have a hundred and
fifty you know, different plays, all in right formation. And
then what they do if they want to put it
in a left formation is let's just say, flip forty
four as you take every even number, make it odd,
every right, make it left. That's all you do with

(06:17):
the play call. Okay, but it expedites the process of
getting the plays in and then getting to the line
of scrimmage. And look, Tom Brady has one one I
think forever and it's a part because New England always
prepared for the fact that when I was if the
if the coach the quarterback goes down and you can't
hear in your headset, which that happens in Kalla stadiums,
you know, you don't allow third down if your headset

(06:38):
goes out. You want to have the ability to communicate
in the play call that the sideline ones and not
disrupt everything. So you wear a wristband. Some people just
like wearing it because it's the more phishing process and
by the way, kind of hard to mess up a
call if you're reading off the wristband. You see every
little thing. Now, the reason why quarterbacks some don't like
doing it a they don't want something on they're off throwing.

(07:00):
And it's usually not that. It's usually in the fact
that they feel like it looks like it's high school
college football, like you're not smart. But because that is,
that is like a stigma that's attached to it. And
you can ask Jake Dilo, you can ask there's callus
quarterbacks who would rather we wear a wristband. I liked
wearing a wristband because I always felt like it's the

(07:20):
quicker way of doing it. And if you could break
the huddle and get up the line of scrimmage, now
I can. I can take out my toolbox and say,
all right, I can check to this play, I can
change the protection because that five seconds that you're spending
not worrying about a play call, and you can spend
it the line of scrimmage is invaluable to your offensive linement.
You're running back, your quarterback, your wide receivers on seeing

(07:42):
what the defense is doing. So it's it's something that
has actually been like an age old discussion in quarterback rooms,
like to wear a wristband or not, but there is
like a stigma attached to it, like, oh, you don't
need it because you have the coach the quarterback in
your helmet. Like I would argue the opposite. I think
it actually helps him make that process more efficient. And
like in in college, they can steal signals, so when

(08:04):
they still signal into what you know, play call or
whatever you're running, even if you have a wristband, like
they could technically steal it eventually, like once they see
the same signal a few times, they know you're running
that same play. They can't do that in the NFL level,
so it actually protects against some of that too. By
the way, I like to apologize. Shane Waldron is the
o C. The O C and Philly is Shanes apologized.
Apologize By the way, Shane Waldron, who I came up

(08:26):
with it. He came from New England, which Charlie wise
to Notre Dame so sugar. Shane as extremely bright dude
and by by the way, like extremely extremely bright guy. Um,
he obviously sees the benefit of that too. And being
able to expedite the play calling process. Why why wouldn't
you want that? I don't like because of what LaVar said. Yeah,

(08:47):
people don't like the stigma connected to it. It's like, oh,
you need a harist band? Was it like flash cards? People?
People will use that to try to, you know, basically
downgrade what you're intellect level with. I actually think it's
the dumbest thing and important because when you come in

(09:08):
as a rookie and this is like an old West
Coast thing, like John Gruden was the king of this, right,
he gave this long, elaborate play call zero slat SI,
six double teams so alert, forty double canes on one. Hey,
by the way, if they bring it all pressure check
fifty Gotti all right, you got me, Like you would
say all this crap just to see if you knew
what he was saying, to see if you knew the
offense as well as he did, even though he's been

(09:28):
coaching for forty years or whatever it's been. And and
here's the thing that that would actually like would always
bother me about it is you're not allowing your young
player to go out there and play and see what
he's capable of you're just trying to test him mentally,
and that test mentally is not actually what's gonna happen
once you play the game. So if you have a
young like star at quarterback, go put a wristband on him,

(09:49):
make it easier for him to call the play in
the huddle. And it's been proven too. When you see
the actual play call on your wristband, it helps players
visualize the play in their minds, so they actually instead
of just hearing it and visualizing it, if they have
a wristband, they see it visualize it better. And that's
the other kind of science behind all of it. So

(10:11):
there's a lot of stigmas attached to it, and it's
to me, the dumbest argument there's ever done. Defenders where
I'm two, I wore two toward I wore two armed
bands because I was a linebacker and the defensive end.
There's there's literally like eight or nine, ten or more
stunts that are connected to linebackers, defensive ends, defensive tackles,

(10:31):
nose guards, nose guards and tackle tackling ends, ends and backers,
And you know what, I don't I don't want to
be sitting there like okay, I heard I heard rhino.
I heard rhino. Okay boe cover two? All right, cover two,
data dot this combo that like, I'm looking at both wristbands.
Soon as soon as the middle backer calls the call,

(10:53):
I'm looking at both. And then the defensive front they're
they're making calls. So now we're getting lined up defensive
friends like kay, okay t E t E t E.
All right. I don't care if I know that it's
tackle end, I still want to look at and be like,
all right, tackles first and second, boom done? All right?
Am I involved in it? All right? Yep, this is
what I got. I gotta make sure I'm peeling on

(11:15):
the back on this stunt, like just little little details,
because the game is about details. It's about details. If
I missed the fact that on this t E stunt,
I have the pill, which is I have to take
the back if the back releases. But I'm sitting there
and I'm reading a crosser because I mean cover two
and cover two, I'm reading for number two. I'm reading

(11:36):
for the crosser. But if it says all right, and
they called cover two, but they called an ET stunt,
that et stunt means that that in a regular two,
maybe that end is is peeling off. They're they're taking
the flare from the back. If that back is flaring
and that end is on a on a stunt, that
back might be free. So I have to break off

(11:59):
what I would usually do, and I'm I'm going to
play that back and I'm playing that back in a
man technique while we're playing in his own defense coverage.
So it doesn't make you dumb because you're using a
wrist band card. It's you're allowed to double check what
it is that your responsibilities are. Like, like you said,

(12:21):
it's very quick, it's efficient, and and as I see it,
it's very effective because you don't have to waste the
time trying to figure out I'm trying to decipher what
the play call was, and then I got to see
what applies to me, what doesn't apply to me? You know,
what are the variations of what I have to do
in this play? That's strange. I I just think if

(12:41):
there's limited time and you're trying to get a play in,
you're in the heat of the moment, why would you
not what you're just basically saying, no, I don't want
to make it easier. I want to make sure that
I look cooler and look at the sales, look at
the sales of wrist bands that that whole cards. Well.
The the other thing I say is it's hard to
mess up the call if you're reading it off your wristband,

(13:03):
like you can slip over some things, or like when
you're repeating it and not have to have a repeat.
That's the other thing is. And sometimes you'll you'll like
some of it will get cut off, or maybe there's
someone talking to you and ask you a question for
the last player or this one, like hey, what personnel
is it? Or hey, did you see this on the
last one. They're trying to get the play call, and
you're like, hold on, hold on, You're gonna look back
over and tell hey, was called again? Called it again?

(13:23):
You know that stuff happens. And if you just say, hey,
the wristband forty five, you know we're spand one out two,
whatever the case is you've got in your head, you
don't even have to ask. You you you answer the question,
you handle the huddle, or you talk to the guy,
and then you're going right back into it. And so
even the process of just calling it to make sure
there's no mistakes. Even in that case, it's it's an
easier process and it makes it it probably removes less

(13:47):
of an ability to mess up a play call, especially
if you can see it like that's why. That's what's weird.
It's like you people think they know the lyrics to
a song, and then once you see it and you realize, oh,
that's what they're saying there, it can completely changes and
you learn the song better. Like this just feels like
it's It would make things so much easier. The idea
that no, no, no, I don't want to be seen

(14:08):
looking down on my wristbands. So what do you want
to do? Like you know, write it on on your
palm and pretend like you're clearing grass off your hand
and say, oh my, there's the play called I just
a wristband into my test and into my classes with
me when I took test and stuff like that, I
would have went in would ristband. I'm just saying, should

(14:31):
we do wristbands for the show dah? Why not get it?
Like we do have a show sheet. Tom Brady used
a wristband. He's got a Newman wristband. I see it
every week. The old school Newman Band, Newman wrist brand there,
so why not let's make this happen. You know, we'll
do it that way. But again, Pete Carroll, I mean,
what's it gonna be next week? How's it gonna be
able to find a shot and an opportunity to take

(14:53):
a dig at rust? Next week be getting a house
that only has to to three bit rooms. But it's yeah,
that might be the next Can I can I call
my shot here? I would like to make you didn't
know that I like three bedrooms under sure? Yeah, Russ
has four bedrooms and our four bedrooms twelve bathrooms in

(15:15):
this giant is a party basically, don't come where we live. Yeah,
stay stay where all the party. Ers's basically what that
is is. So I've heard that, I'd like to make
my prediction. Okay, if you guys had to make your prediction. Now,
what do you think the next thing is? Pete Carroll
takes a dig at Russell Wilson on because I'm gonna

(15:35):
make my prediction now, Okay, I don't think it's gonna
be that. I think it's gonna be him, alluding to
the fact that Gino Smith doesn't have his own office
at the facility. That's gonna be where Smith's accuracy. You think,
so he's so much more He's our offenses so much,
has so much more accuracy. Wrist fans, he get help

(15:59):
him stuff. This is great efficient. I had no idea.
There's so much more efficient. But I guess that's the
wristband talk. I had no idea. Thanks for this. Lap
is the best though, Mr, Mr, Mr Unlimited. Yeah, you
gotta be unlimited. Maybe we did a lot of winning

(16:22):
wristbands are not or or Pete Carroll's gonna say, I
prefer I prefer Jersey, Mike's over a subway, or he's
going to find something to take it. Prefer my food
not to be dangerous. Yeah, that's gonna be. It's gonna
like to say foods. Uh. It is two pros, Thank you, Ross.

thought they were going to be, but cause for concern
at the quarterback position. We'll tell you what that is next.

like threatening him. He goes, do you want to jump?
You smoke crack? Don't you I don't remember any of
the great It's kind of like black cinema. It was like,

(19:32):
you know, kind of like you know, yeah, it's block
Sonema listen probably in Aaron Dublin. You know ea sa
uh e s That was a bad No. They killed that.
Yeah they crushed that song. Yeah that was a real
singing group. Yeah. I haven't seen that movie. You never

(19:53):
said movie. I just told you see that movie. Come
on it is you know. He figured he'd get into
the twenty three me conversation of movies. Right, that's what
Burto just did. That's the button, Bert obviously standing deliver. Nope,
Oh with is it Edward James Almost We've watched negative
negative Equals and that's exactly how it is. That with

(20:20):
lou Diamond Phillips. Yeah, Loud Phillips is literally dre he's
got he's got the hairnet. Yeah, that's that's burn. That's
not that's not your movie. That's watching Zonas. That's not
your movie. I can relate. I'm just saying you're the
one that just said you didn't watch brown movies, you know,

(20:42):
black black movie. Jesus, Hey, Bert, are we gonna let
this fly? Berto? Oh wow, just set me up like that?
Huh alright, so not discussed. We are going to have
some over unders as we get you set for this
major battle on Thursday Night football coming up in a
little over fifty minutes from now here, odd fs are
before we get to this story that could be problematic

(21:04):
for one team in the NFL at the quarterback position
fellas she looked down, It's about that time. It's time
to stop treating your groins like junk. Introducing the Gillette
Intimate pubic hair trimmer. It's a gentle and easy shave
from America's number one trusted men's grooming brand. Show your

(21:25):
pubic regions restruct with Chillette Intimate. Yea, the best man
can get. We had to make sure, by the way,
the best a man can get. By the way, Lee,
how's that coming along? We got any progress on us
receiving um some of these uh you know Gillette Intimate
pubic hair trimmers, they are in rout Yeah sure, yeah, yeah,

(21:51):
very good. It's great. Are you surprised? That was Lee's response. Uh.
And now how long do you think it will take
before we get an answer from us to whether or
not those are going to be sent to us after Christmas? O?
What I'm backing at this point the same amount of
time after Christmas, I should say, just Christmas, after all

(22:12):
the holidays. I'm coming out, By the way, Lee, Lee's
public enemy number one here number just just wait until
everybody left. I mean, why didn't you just leave out
of the room? Yeah, yeah, why why didn't you leave?
And then and then he opened he thinks he's going
to air out the studio, so he opens up the

(22:33):
door to our studio. So now it's creates a wind tunnel,
and now you're literally feeding the studio your flashlights. Props
open our door and says, oh, you don't want to
come in? Why are you propping our door open? Cutting
a fart on a plane? Where do you think that's
gonna go to the plane? If you really want to
be a friend, you go out to the outside door.

(22:55):
You propped that open. Then you prop open both doors
to the studio and the actor into your guy's portion
of that. So you get just a continuous flow of
Eric carrying out the smell all the way outside. Just
the problems are going to start complaining, Oh yeah, that
is that is true, and they're everywhere, just in case

(23:17):
anybody was wondering, But it's if you're around on the
block around here. The worst part is he opens up
that door and then tells me as I'm walking into
the studio, because I thought it was a nice gesture,
like what is he opening the door for me? Like
my god, this is like now I know how Brady's treated.
Like he's opening the door for me and I walk in,
and it was only because he was airing out the

(23:38):
studio because you know, he ripped one and then decided.
You know, let me just go ahead and you know,
have everybody with the excuse the line of excuse making right, like, oh,
it was the food that I ate left? What was it?
Stuffed mushrooms? Holding against me, don't hold me accountable. It
was stuffed mushrooms. And what was what did you have? Lee? Yeah,

(24:00):
stuffed mushrooms. Have some garlic, bread, grilled art to choked.
And then and then he's got the balls to say
right after that, and then when I get home and
I have steaking eggs. Oh cool, So your neighbors are
gonna have to call the fire department. Give yourself a break. Okay,
maybe not pipe in all of that and let let

(24:23):
somebody else kind of enjoy breathing clearly for just like
forty five minutes anybody near you? Berto started it. I
think I'm gonna go get some steak and eggs today. Yeah.
It was chicken to Molly's yesterday. Get some steaking eggs today. Yeah, yeah,
not me. I feel about it. To get some water,

(24:43):
you know, might get his country fried steak, Country fried steak. Yeah,
that'll shut you down, though. Well that's that's like pits.
It's heavy with some home fries yeah, that sounds good
with onions and peppers and home frost smothered covered and peppered,
smothered and cover. So at the Wopplehouse. Brady and I
go to regulars at the Wapplehouse. You know they can

(25:06):
eat man that that that that booger can eat. Man. God, yeah,
but man, I'll pay the price for it. You'd away,
Oh man, I didn't. So Brady Witten had a little

(25:27):
bit more food at a certain time after the show
on Friday, eating than he expected to have. And uh,
he was not feeling it for a couple of hours afterwards.
Just just an uncomfortable feeling, just an uncomfortable love. On Friday,
you went and had a heavier breakfast that I think
you were expecting to have. It's about the race track,

(25:50):
you know, before the racetrack, when you when you went,
I didn't eat when you went before the race, where
you went to the show before the race. After the show.
Might have some monkey bread, Yeah, that's true. I did.
I did have a little did have a little breakfast
with the family. It was good seeing the family, It
was good seeing everyone. Yeah, monkey bread hard in the morning,

(26:14):
some monkey bread, had some fruit I had never had
Kesh before until the airport last Thursday. Man, it's pretty
damn good. Yeah, I had no idea what it was,
and uh and I got it and it was like,
what it's like pie? Is it like breakfast pie? It's
like a breakfast good Man. I was surprised. Pretty good.

(26:36):
All right, It is Joe here on Fox Sports Radio.
By the way, you want to get you want to
hear Sean mcvape, the head coach of the l A Rams,
talking about apparently matt Stafford's and concussion protocol. All of
a sudden, he finished the game on Sunday and he
went into concussion protocol on Tuesday. Here was Sean mcveape
explaining the situation. We'll keep Matthew Stafford out, we'll put

(26:58):
him in the concussion protocol. What ended up happening was,
you know, Reggie and his group doing they're kind of
clean up after the game. He asked the questions and
you do the right follow ups and determined that they
felt like that was the best thing for him. Nobody's
more of a competitor and wanted to be out there
with his teammates. Then Matthew, he's in the protocol, so
we'll take it a day at a time with him.

(27:20):
So John Wolford as the backup quarterback, the guy who
looks like Gary Oldman, and so we might be getting, uh,
might begetting a little John Wolford this coming weekend. Calibury
Calibury Bess Todd with what a hairstring? Yeah, but that's
all right. He doesn't need his legs, you know, he's
he's more of a pocket passer anyway, so he should
be fine. Um, you talk about what what an awful

(27:42):
season for the l A Rams, Like you could go
back to that first game against the Bills. We probably
should have seen what was going to unravel for this
team this season, like just based on that game and
the stage is when you knew what was going on,
what was coming. Unfortunately was in a foreshadow and when
she went off and he backed away, he could have

(28:03):
been a hero, been caring. You know, it was like
kind of like man he was giving you for shadowing
that he was just going to back away, Yeah, until
the drama was going to hit, and instead of coming
after it, he just backed The way they're going to
finish last in the West. I'll call my shot right now.
The L A Rams are gonna finish. It's gonna get
worse before it gets better, and they're gonna finish dead
last in the lasts. The last time I seem on

(28:25):
the Super Bowl and finish dead last. I was thinking
about that, like, because you normally theyn't they won't win
the super Bowl, but they'll at least be somewhat competitive.
It's normally the team who loses the Super Bowl as
a big step back. Cincinnati feels like a team that's
going to be a wild card team at least, and
the Rams feel nowhere close to what they were a
year ago. Man, they're they're in bad shape again. You

(28:46):
look at how they built it. I mean they had to,
you know, sell their souls of the future to win
in the short term, and they did it. They look
what their strategy works. It's just this is the aftermath
that you're gonna face these sort of issues I think
long term. But they went to suit two super Bowls,
they won one. It works. But eventually not having those
picks will catch up with you. And that's why a

(29:07):
team like Cincinnati probably looks more sustainable at this point
because they have built through the draft with the way
they brought in and acquired a lot of those players,
obviously Joe Burrow most importantly. Yeah, so it is be
interesting to see how much good will do those those
that Super Bowl appearance in the Super Bowl win, how
much good will? How much time does it value? Does
it give you a lot of runway? Yeah, they sit

(29:30):
there and they say, well, we're one season removed from
that Super Bowl. We sucked this year, so how long
do you have This makes come off as controversial. I
think you got a pretty long runway with Los Angeles
and sports. I'm just I'm gonna throw that out there.
I'm just saying, like, I don't know how many Rams
fans are that like passionate to the point where they're

(29:51):
calling for a guy's head. You know, if things fell
apart the rest of the season for Philly, like they
would try to get Nick Santi fired. That that's just
how the Eagles. It's like Philly fans are. Yeah, It's
just it's just there's different fan base like that. People
said to be a little more fickle depending on where
you're from and and all that. I just I feel
like it's a little more laid back, you know, It's
it's insulting, Okay, for Brady Quinn. Let me just represent

(30:12):
everybody listening on the blowtorch AM five seventy l A Sports,
I'll represent Yeah, let me just go ahead and defend
l A. The fact that you would come up here
on national radio and call out a fan base like
Los Angeles after they show up to the Super Bowl
parade and there's there's at least ten to fifteen people there,
and then the politicians, the politicians people. Yeah, and the

(30:34):
politicians that were speaking there, they were wearing St. Louis
Rams jerseys, and you're gonna call them out for not
being real football fans? How dare you dare? And Tori
Holt and Isaac Bruce, the Marshall folk were there, Yeah,
how dare you mean? But it's not like anyone's out
like outraged by the Lakers and how they're looking. Yeah,
that's that's true, all right. You know they got that

(30:56):
different people were there. At least there's at least ten
to fifteen people there, and it was a home game.
It was a good book. It was more than that,
Let's be honest. I granted some of them might have
been paid extras, but it's just works so ridiculous. Al Right,
It's two pros and a cup of Joe. Here Fox
Sports Radio, LaVar Arrington, Brady Quinn Jonas now actually got

(31:16):
some over unders getting you set for Thursday night football
coming up here shortly. But for all the latest from
around the world of sports, ladies and gentlemen. This man
is l a and this man is so cow sports.
He's Edmund Garcia. Well, nothing like a guy who is
a Celtics, Penguins and Bears fan calling out the local
fans here, and you're talking about you're talking about me,
You guys, glue me in this conversation. We're talking about Brady.

(31:40):
I think I'm talking about ship though, you're talking about
Roberts fired burn. How does that count? He's got a
Russell shirt on, he's so yeah, it's never seventeen. Come on, no, no,
it's got this Davante Adams working a Berto. Are we
getting back on Twitter? Come on? Come on? He thought

(32:03):
he was yesterda fake tweet came out? Did they somebody
make a fake Roberto tweet says he's not going back
on until McDaniels gets fired. And he thought he was
thought he was kind of gn me back on, Berto?
Please come on, Nah, come on maniste Off. It's ober.

(32:24):
Dave Roberts is gonna be back. Josh McDaniel is not
going anywhere. Let's do it together. Jeez, all right, Adams
las about. I'm sure Roberto is probably not happy that
there's no Derek Carr injury news in the NFL report here,
but we do have other quarterback injury news. Josh Allen

(32:46):
for the Buffalo Bills still day to day with his
elbow injury, didn't practice on Wednesday, and head coach Sean
McDermott says he's not sure still if Alan will be
able to go Sunday against the Vikings. As you guys
were talking about, Sean McVeigh saying that Matthews effort in
the concussion protocol for the Rams and Cardinals quarterback Kyler
Murray missing practice the hamstring injury, and the Rams take
on the Cardinals this weekend and we'll see if either

(33:08):
of those quarterbacks play or not. Also, Packers quarterback Aaron
Rodgers dealing with the thumb injury. He has expected to
play though whether st Packers host the Cowboys on So
anybody didn't miss practice on Wednesday. In the NBA, we
had the Nets over the Knicks in the Battle of
New York one twelve to eighty five. That's thirteen straight
wins now for Brooklyn over New York. Kevin Durant triple
double twenty nine points, twelve boards, twelve assists. Clippers over

(33:29):
the Lakers in the Battle of l A won four
teen to one oh one. That is ninth straight wins
with the Clippers over the Lakers, and the Lakers saw
Lebron James leave this game in the fourth quarter with
a groin injury. Didn't return. Bucks and double overtime beat
the Thunder one thirty two. Milwaukee and NBA best ten
and one on the season. They win without star Jadis Tentacubo,
who was out with a sore need. The Jazz beat

(33:50):
the Hawks nineteen. Capitaliers lose to the Kings one one twenty.
Donovan Mitchell thirty eight points in a losing effort for
Cleveland and the Nuggets rallied down eighteen points second half
beat the Pacers on the road to one. Four games

over under. Well, by the way, where do we stand
on the season as far as like season records and standings?
It is a close, close race between all three of
you guys. Brady you have the lead with twenty nine,
Jonas twenty. I'm sorry, sen Jonas eighteen, LaVar, so we're

(37:03):
all kind of I don't want to play this game.
What do you mean, I don't want to make it.
You're behind Brady in percentages. I don't want to do it.
Your your percentage and a half behind. Brady, don't care
about this game. Would you rather be tailgated if we
did this game? Imagine we're in a tailgame. By the way,
this is the Fox Sports Radio tailgate, speaking of which

do you mean? All right? All come on, let's go
point total for the game forty two between the Falcons
and the Panthers under I'm gonna take the overly, I'm

(37:49):
gonna take over. We're gonna get surprised. Brady really sold
me to open the show. He thinks it's going to
be a much better game than a lot of people
are given it. Credit for him take the over. I'm
taken over. Guys who will have more passing and rushing
yards combined Between Marcus Mariota and p J. Walker. Marcus Mariota,
Marcus Mariota Walker is not really a running quarterback. It

(38:11):
doesn't really run that much, but he doesn't run as
much as Mariota. Yeah, take some, I'll take Marcus. I'm
gonna go with nice alright, rushing and receiving yards combined
for Cordarrell Patterson six five and a half. Over Come on, now,
I'm gonna take the under. What do you see, I'm

(38:34):
gonna take the UNDERTA two Tyler Algier has been playing
really well for them, tied to this one. Who has
a longer rush Between Marcus Mariota, Cordarol Patterson Corderyl. If
you wanted to take the over under its thirteen and
a half for both of them. I'm taking over, so

(38:57):
I'm saying Cordarrel Patterson and I'm taking over on the
mountain to the longest rushing attempt. You know, give me
a second here. I hate to make this about me
and my research here. I hate this. I'm gonna give
me one second here. Oh, you're gonna get in trouble
for what. Chad incidentally typed in, Oh, I want to

(39:23):
take Marcus Mario down this one. Finally, you guys, number
of snaps for Baker Mayfield under center and a half
or it could be shot gun. Do you think he
plays it? Huh? I mean if they bench P. J.
Walker twice two weeks in a row, what are we

(39:45):
doing here? Maybe you should just started the first place. Then, yeah, like,
what are we doing? Um? It just seems I'm gonna
take the under. I'm kind of plan out logic too.
Already yeah, already said yes, first, you know what, take
the overlad? You went quick? That one was quick, completely

(40:08):
contradicted yourself. Well, I think Baker Mayfield's the best quarterback
on that roster, and I agree, But I mean, why
do I start them? Then? Wait? What happened to Sam
Donald's activities back? They're paying them too, I mean him,
We're all getting paid to chill man. It's gonna be fun. Well,
Faisday Night Football coming up later. I feel confident I'm

(40:30):
gonna climb back into this after this one. Yeah too.
I think you're gonna come back in this yeah whatever. Whatever.
