can I ask good questions? No? Okay, what do you mean?
It's your show? I asked him, what are you talking about? No? No,
(01:23):
I was going to ask a question. No, come on,
what's up to? Come on? No? I don't want it
to come on? No, go ahead, come on, No, please,
what's I don't want to ask? Go ahead, come on,
come on, let's go. Let's go. Well, here's the topics. Um,
(01:48):
you ask why why would you even ask to ask
a question? Um? I was being courteous, I know, but yeah,
come on, let's go. What's the question? Can I guess
what the question is going to be? No? Sent it up.
It's getting awkward. Now here's here's what my guess is.
You're wondering whether or not live Bad Jesus is going
(02:09):
to make an appearance during the World Cup. You know what?
That's that was pretty good because those games are got
one queue. You gotta guess, Yeah, you gotta guess. I don't.
I'm trying to think. We talked about the highway stuff earlier,
so I wasn't sure if it was a relation to that,
but we also talked about thunder snow, and you were
making some innuendos to that. I'm just trying to piece
(02:33):
together where this could have what this could have trigger
your brain? Yeah, I mean, but you've now known me
long enough as us doing. You know, you know, we
spend probably more time talking to one another than I mean,
you're you guys got to be what, top top three
in terms of long time of talking to somebody course
(02:53):
of a week. Oh yeah. So anyways, the point of
that is is that you know me good enough by
now to know there is no correlation between how I
think like. I'm random as hell, super random, So you
wouldn't have been able to put together what I was
going to ask based off of what we've already discussed
but not even related. Now you are going to ask
(03:15):
it correct? No, go ahead? What a bummer. There's people
out there waiting. They want to know. Now the build
up is here. But there was no tease. I don't
I don't have to pay off a tease. There was
no tease. I was just gonna ask and now I'm
not some stripper. You are unbelievable. Come on, whoa tease away?
(03:35):
Let's go whoa I'm not a stripper. Well, with that
being said, um, you're New York. Would you strip? Would
you strip? What? I? If I needed the money? Why not?
Would you strip? To you? If you need the money,
like you had no other no other recourse, and you
needed money right away? Would you strip? No, I'd I'd
go fund of the job not doing that. Imagine imagine,
(04:00):
and this is always my thought process. Imagine your parents
found walking in or walking yeah, I mean yeah. Would
both be embarrassed though, right because it's like wow, yeah,
but you also there's a portion of you that would
be like you've like let them down. Yeah, I get that.
I wanted to do. Male strippers use polls. Um, it's
(04:24):
probably a little uncomfortable, okay for them to use them,
you know. So they're more just dancers. They're not like
they don't use as private dancer. Dance answer for money? Okay?
How's that song? Okay? I can't. I gave you my
best sounded like her yesterday too. I gotta be honest
(04:46):
with you. I was like, I secretly working impressions, I
secretly do nice. I'd have to go find a job.
Where where would you go? What do you think you
would do? I don't know. Whatever. I mean, whatever I
can apply for I don't know. Because if you feel
like let me give you, let me give you a
Jonas Stocks answer, I don't know. Not start moving boxes
like huge? Jonas would say something random. So physical activity, Yeah,
(05:09):
that'd be random. I started moving to Jonas, which strip
That's what I think, Jonas, what actually did? If I
needed the money, I would do it. Well, don't don't
people call you like these stripper of radio or something
that's because of the teasing. I mean, there's no just
the stripper of sports talk radio. It's you know, it's
(05:30):
just what I do. I tease number of times. But
but the problem to make a movie about you, Jonas.
And then I have a call Douce uh yeah, deuced
Bige that that is correct. Um, But I would say this,
when you spend time as the rabbit chuck e cheese,
you'll pretty much do anything for work. Like so, I've
(05:51):
already been down that road. I've had much worse jobs.
And being a stripper, you know, I gotta be honest
with you. Being a a life's eyes big as rat
and and entertaining kids, that is pretty low Jonas. Yes,
that's a low place. Like you were like when you
went uh like it was that an audition? What was
(06:14):
that an interview? I was just you know, everybody took
turns and all of a sudden they said, well you
got a real knack for this, and they said, we're
gonna have you dress up more and being costume and
then after you do your performance for the birthday party,
you go back, you change out of the costume, and
then you come back and you bust tables. That was
the job. It was miserable. Did you like hit your ear?
You know how like some um mascots they like rub
(06:37):
their heads and they shake their heads and they clap
their hands and they point out because like you were
a real animated you can't talk, so you have to
use like you're basically a big hairy mime. You know.
It's just and so that's that's the way you communicate,
unless you know, one of these kids hit you in
the balls and then you start cursing because that that happened.
(07:02):
Kid kid ran up, took a running start. I didn't
see him until last second, and he hit me directly
in the balls and I and I was bent over
next to the game room by the little mini claw machine,
and my buddy came over, who was working in the
game room Mary, and he said, hey, man, are you okay?
And I would just started f bombing away. He goes, dude,
keep it down, you're being loud. I was like being loud.
(07:22):
That kid just hit me in the balls and his
parents aren't doing anything about it because mom and pops
are drinking a picture of beer and sucking down a
White's infandale while I'm sitting here worried about whether or
not I'm gonna have a family. Could I just tell
you if I ever saw Vince Vaughn do that in
a movie, I might die laughing. Yeah. Literally, I have
to say that. I mean, of all the professions, how
(07:46):
many do you think play whether or not they'll have kids.
As much as it hurts, you get crohots pretty often.
It hurts so bad becaucause there was no partition, no protection,
and I didn't see it until the last second. And
it's like that delayed reaction to where you get hit
and go, this is gonna be awful. I would tell
you what's funny, though, Q was probably the kid growing
(08:08):
up that would be the one that did that. Come
over baseball and let me tell you what's funny. I
bet your Chopper was at the table like way to
get him suddenly, that's great form. Look at him over there, maker. Okay,
if Chopper saw you do that, what would his reaction
(08:30):
really be? Honestly, he would laugh him My dad would
have beat my ass. If I hadn't did that, mine
wouldn't have been like upset about it by any means.
He probably would have laugh. He would have thought it
was what about your mom? Your mom would have been pissed.
She she would have been mad. She would have reprimanded me,
(08:51):
probably schoolded me, track me out by my ear out
of the entire chuck and cheese to take me home. Yeah,
it's not good. Chopper would have been I ain't never
even met Chopper, but I just get to feel that
Chopper would have been sitting there like, yes, that's my boy.
By the way, you want to know, one of the
first things Chopper said to me. We were in the
(09:13):
golf cart at Brady's golf tournament, and and Chopper, I
think he had pulled up next to us, and I
was with I was with the meat wagon, and we're
sitting in the golf cart and Chopper looks at me.
He goes, I must spend a lot of time on
that beard, you know he was. I was like, yeah,
(09:33):
you're right, I do. I don't want to tell you
he was calling you saw he did, and he was
accurate in that statement, So yeah, you're soft. Chopper was
his fishing. He was fishing there with Jonas. See how
far that Yeah, it's all fair man. That that's got
to be one of the funniest stories. I mean, if anything,
(09:54):
I would love to re enact that story man like
on everything that is. That's painfully funny. Bro. No pun
intended that that jug is funny. Bro Parents parents, and
I didn't understand it until I became a parent. But
they just don't want to have to worry about the mess,
and they want a babysitter who looks like a giant
(10:17):
stuffed animal. That's all it is, be honest with you.
Last night in our flight, my flight end, I felt
so bad for this this couple. Well, there was there
was some screaming, but it wasn't that. Uh, it was
funny that it was a one year old and three
(10:38):
year old and the one year old kept looking back
at me, and so I was waving you know, I've
got kids all that, and kind of said to the mobels,
I've got I've got three little girls, like, get it,
don't worry about me. I won't get upset. If they're
you know that, they cry. So at one point she
like rushes up to the bathroom and then you hear
this announcement the flight attended, if anyone has any extra
(11:02):
diapers on the plane, please let us know. And then
you start to put two and two together. You're like, oh,
they don't have any more diapers. And the mom had
kind of explained to me how they had connected through
Miami and then they were going Miami to Dallas, which
is where they lived. But they had a hillacious day.
(11:22):
So apparently this one year old blowing out diapers left
and right. And the next time I see the kid
come come out of the bathroom. It's just there's just
some napkins stuffed in a para underwear. That's it. That's
what you got to make a three hour flight on
napkin stuff. It was like, all right, this is how
(11:43):
we're so you just throw those clothes away right the
second you get off the plane. Well, she had said,
she goes she looked at me she goes, this is
my third T shirt today. I was like, oh, okay,
sorry about that. If I could help it anyway, please
let me know. I was that's you know, that's what
(12:05):
I've never seen that before my heart. That's a helpless feeling, man.
That's that's one of the most helpless feelings. When you
know you have something that's coming that's bad with your
kid and you're on an airplane like that's that's a
that is a helpless feeling. We've been there. We've been
(12:26):
there before in certain situations that have taken place. I
can't think of anything in particular and specific right off
the top of my head, but that is a helpless
feeling when your kid is in need of something and
you can't provide it, like parents, sings pretty humbling, Like
I would say, like think, I think about Lavart's like
he's going to the College Football Hall of Fame. He's
had all these amazing experiences. At one point in time,
(12:50):
he was probably on a plane with a baby that
craft it stiper. He's like his his biggest issue was,
all right, it smells and I've gotta I've gotta change,
sir or wife. He's got someone's gonna change this, like
everyone goes through that coronation. It's one of the craziest things,
the most humbling things. I had an old person do
(13:10):
the same exact thing, and it got into the seat
and right behind me, immediately, right immediately behind me. Now
you work that one out. And we didn't take off yet,
so now everybody is like, you got one person that
(13:31):
it took, you know, because for a moment everybody knows it,
but they don't want to acknowledge it. And then the
smell just kept coming up and getting stronger and stronger,
and finally somebody acknowledged it, and then everybody jumped in like,
all right, it's I can't hold it anymore either. So
everybody just started, oh Mike, And we hadn't taken off,
so they were trying to figure out what they were
(13:53):
going to do, and that was somebody's seat. Did anybody
try and help them or they just all make faces
and get gross. So so apparently it was. It took place.
It took place before we board it, So go figure
if you're wondering how well they do of a job
(14:13):
to clean up the airplane before you get on it.
It took place before we got on from a previous flight.
So what we found out, and what we found out
was one of the people one one of the people
who was I guess because it was a turnaround flight.
So the the flight, the flight person I knew, I
(14:34):
don't know what you call is it attendant? Now I
don't know. It's okay, um like spoke on it, like yeah.
They didn't go into detail other than yeah, we had
a little accident. Thatta dit this that and the other.
It's like okay, And then once we smelled it is
like you know, you put two and two together. I
was like, you know what happened? They're like, yeah, it
was an elderly person they had, you know, had an accident.
(14:55):
I was like, all right, so this was the best
y'all could do. You can just remove the seacre they did,
and that's what they did. They were sea cushion, but
it did not remove the smap. So now we're on
the ground, we're trying to figure out if we're gonna
even take off like it like, yeah, flights have been
canceled what due to what they're like a soiled seat,
(15:19):
You ain't making your flight or your connection because we're
we're getting we're deplaning because of a soiled seat. And
I mean, let me tell you, it had it. It
had that, It had it going like it was strong
enough to have them say, yeah, we gotta get like
we're not doing four hours of this new God that's
doing four hours of this And and that was like,
(15:41):
you know, that was I want to say. It was
post COVID, so we didn't have people didn't have mask on.
You could have made it through with a mask on
post COVID. That's brutal. Yeah, let's there you go. So
sometimes you can feel helpless and it might not even
be the baby. Sometimes you need an extra diaper, and
and sometimes it's time to stop treating your groins like junks.
(16:07):

Quinn Jonas knocks you here. So coming up next, there's
a situation in the NFL where somebody is very, very
(16:28):
sensitive over some criticism you will hear from him at
yours right here on fs are be sure to catch
live editions of Two Pros and a Cup of Joe
with Brady Quinn, LaVar Arrington and Jonas Knocks week days
at six am Eastern three am Pacific on Fox Sports
Radio and the I Heart Radio Two Pros and a
Cup of Joe Fox Sports Radio, LaVar Arrington, Brady Quinn,
(16:50):
Jonas Knocks with the Here you Can hang Out with
Us is always on the I Heart Radio app. So
one team in the NFL managed to get better. Already
a really good team, they managed to get better over
the last twenty four hours. We will tell you who
that is coming up here a little over twenty minutes
from now here on Fox Sports Radio. So Um, the
(17:12):
New York Jets and the Patriots have a game this weekend,
one of the bigger Jets Patriots games that we can
recall in recent years, because the Jets actually have a
decent record this year and the New York Jets have
a quarterback in Zach Wilson who has been very criticized
by some people. Uh he said that Zack Wilson said
(17:33):
he doesn't really care what anybody says outside the building.
And then Robert sale Has head coach, decided to come
to his defense on Thursday. And here's how that sounded
from a narrative standpoint, To try to attack a young
man for four or five plays one of the four
or five teachable moments. In my mind, Um, I just
think we're missing the big picture on it, that's all.
So I got a question, was Sam Donald or Mark
(17:56):
Sanchez or Geno Smith? Were they being defen ended as
much as Zach Wilson is being defended either by their
coaches or by people in the media in New York.
It's really weird. What what am I missing here? Why
is there the rush to defend him all the time
by people there locally? I mean, I'll say for me
(18:18):
from from my perspective, my angle on it. First of all,
the team is having success, that's first and foremost. Secondly,
Robert salah Is is having an opportunity to build a
rapport with with Zack Wilson in his young tenure as
as a head coach and Zack Wilson's young tenure as
(18:42):
as a quarterback. So it only makes sense to if
you if you see potential and a guy to be,
you know pretty good you're going to defend him. Now,
as far as the fans or the media knows those things, listen,
I don't. I don't. I don't know. That's that's you know,
that's that's for Q. You know, he's the specialist or
(19:03):
the expert on that one. But for me, I would say,
the team is playing well, they're they're in a great
position to contend for for the division that they're in,
can be a playoff team, and this could be the
catalyst of success moving forward into the future. So I
would just say that's probably a strong reason as to
(19:25):
why you would try to protect and support him because
you didn't see that those results take place with Sam Darnald.
You didn't see it take place with Mark Sanchez or
or Geno Smith. You you have not seen it with
any quarterbacks. Um considered to be a franchise quarterback for
this this team. Well, I think the one thing with
(19:47):
Mark Sanchez is um you know they went to it's
what to NFC championship games early in his career, and
and and I do think there was a fair amount
of excitement around early on when he was with the Jets.
Says their quarterback um and then once things kind of
hit like a plateau, there was a general frustration of
they started looking at that team and saying, well, what's
(20:09):
the weak link because it's not the defense, right like
Rex Fryan's defense was was fantastic. That was a really
fun group to watch. You know, you looked at the
running game that weren't saying it was the running games.
So then get falls on the quarterback right. And then
once things started to deteriorate and ended up in the
literally rolling into drafting Gino spit. Now the difference is
the Gino spent draft pick. He wasn't drafted, where Zach
(20:32):
Wilson was. Geno Smith was a second round pick, it
was the second overall pick. Two big differences there, And
you had, you know, and I was there for a
portion of that where you could tell there was a
disconnect with John Ezec and Rex Ryant. You could tell
that John Ezek want to go in a different direction.
He I think he wouldn't to move on obviously from
Mark Sanchez, whereas Rex Ryan had a lot of equity
(20:54):
built in Mark Sanchez and how he had played, and
and so that was obviously awkward for period of time
and and it didn't work really out for anyone. You know,
I didn't work out for Mark, it didn't work out
for Gino when when it was all said and done.
The crazy thing to me about the narrative, at least
in regard to Zack Wilson, is all three of those
(21:16):
guys early on were better. They were statistically better. Like
if you want to throw in quarterback wins as a
statu to me, it's it's the dumbest thing because you're
discounting every other player on the team that that factors
into a win. And two, you can have awful games
where you don't do anything as a quarterback to help
your team win, yet you win despite of you. I've
(21:38):
played games like that, so that that that should be
like you know, a staty throu and say, well, you
know they're there are five and one this year when
he's like, okay, but what did he do in those games?
And and so if you break down his stats early
on compared to Sam Donald, compared to Mark Sanchez, compared
to Gino Smith, it's it's it's not as really, there's
(22:01):
not much of a comparison. He struggled more so than
they have. And outside of Donald who was drafted up
close to where and Mark Sanchez, which is a while ago. Um,
those guys were drafted closer and had the expectation of
where he is. You know, those guys got off the
better starts, I mean statistically speaking, and you can't argue that.
So it's it's a bit. I mean, look, I think
(22:22):
it's a great thing that Robert Salah is giving him
this much confidence and backing him and supporting him. But
there's also gonna be a point in time where you know,
they're like, they're gonna need him to play the way
I think you're looking around the league at Patrick Mahomes,
what he looked like in year one starting you know,
when you had drafted where he gets drafted, that's the expectation.
(22:43):
Justin Herbert where he gets drafted at top ten, and
look what he does once he comes in his rookie year.
Joe Burrow to to it now at this point in time,
which you would make the case to his entire careers. Actually,
you know, if it was not for blind, Brian Floors
actually played pretty well. You go through the list of
player as who came in that are are starting quarterbacks
in the NFL and how they looked early on in
(23:04):
their career, like right away though, Russell Wilson, same thing.
We got the Seattle So I mean, that's more of
what the I think expectation is and the standard is.
But until he gets to that point or or if
he ever does, it's just gonna be interesting to see
how the media handles because it does seem like he's
gotten more of a I don't know, a soft landing.
I'm not I'm not sure how you describe it, Like
(23:25):
he's gotten more of the benefit of the doubt with
the New York media in particular that a lot of
the other quarterbacks that have had more success early on.
I mean, do you remember Gino Smith's rookie year he
played well versus the Patriots. I remember being I remember
being at home beating them and the midpoint of his
rookie year. He played great in that game. So this
(23:46):
this is that. That's why I think this is a
huge matchup for the Jets, and I think for him
in particular, come up this week because he played bad
last time and that was that was part of the discuss.
It changes the narrative and I think it also just
allows you to look at like, if the Jets still
win this one, it's hard not to look at them
and say, based on the records, they'll be what six
and four, and well, the path hats be six and
(24:08):
four with the tiebreaker, and so then you start combing
through the rest of what their schedule looks like, you go,
all right, are they going to finish anywhere other than
fourth in the division? If if they can't beat the Patriots,
because the Patriots look like to me the team that
they might be battling with for that last place spot
as opposed to Buffalo and Miami, who are the red
hot teams right now. And I and also if he
(24:29):
gets out right now, listen, you know they they're playing well,
I think it would be nice, and they're gonna play
a home game in Detroit. They have been robbed. The
Bills have been robbed again. And by the way, if
he gets outplayed by Mac Jones, I mean, and and
this is I think, I wonder that's what this turned into. Well, no,
I just I wonder if this is part of this
sensitivity to the Zach Wilson critique, is the fact that
(24:52):
in your own division you took him over another guy
who so far has been better. Mac Jones has been
a better quarterback, and you could argue, but if mac
Jones plays better but the Jets would, yeah, it could happen.
I mean, look, if they run the football and play
the defense the way they have been, it could easily happen. Yeah,
that's what I'm saying. So how do I mean based
(25:12):
off of what you're saying, Jonas, how how do you
react to that? Date? Okay, because they want if they
win in spite of Zach Wilson, they're they're going to
continue to defend him and they're going to continue to
be sensitive about it because the questions are still going
to be fair. Yes he won, Yes he's got a
winning record, but he's also thrown more picks and touchdowns
and he didn't play well in these games. So to me,
(25:36):
if they feel like they're this close and the roster
is close, and they're this close to being good, but
still you're not getting quality quarterback play, I don't know
why it's unfair to question that and why they get
so sensitive about it, Like the New York media has
been dying for this. I mean, the crazy thing to
me is how good the Giants are this year and
they don't like. I don't feel like they're getting even
(25:56):
close to the amount of love that the Jets are.
It's bizarre, I mean, and you get prominent figures who
will outwardly pump them and and and look, and here's
the truth that matter is there's some people who are
in the media that are close to the front office,
right Like, there's people who are close to Joe Douglas,
and they want this to work for Joe Douglas because
they like Joe Douglas. They think he's a good general manager,
(26:19):
and they know that he's ultimately going to be great.
In on whether or not Zach Wilson works, it's not
the fact that they've hit on Quinn, Quinn Williams. It's
not the fact they hit on Sauce Gardner, Garret Wilson
or whoever else do you want to you want to
touch on, Like, they've hit on a lot of picks.
They've done a tremendous job building this roster. But the
truth of the matter is they have to make Zach
Wilson work in order for it not to look like
(26:41):
a miss for Joe Douglas. And there are so many
people in the media who are really backing that right
now and pushing that narrative to try to make it work.
When look at justin fields he's continually built. I mean
that that would have been a player you thought they
could have taken where they where they said they took
Zach Wilson, right, I mean you could start combing through.
(27:01):
Mac Jones is another one you said in that draft
year that they you know, obviously didn't take and decided
tak instead of all that's hindsight. But but the truth
is they need to make this work for Joe Douglas
and I think you know his reputation as far as
building this froster, even though he's done a tremendous job
even around that position. That it's it's one of the
reasons why Zack Wilson has been able to have the
(27:22):
quarterback quote unquote win loss record he's got. It's because
they've done such a good job making it hard not
to be able to have this team compete. Right now,
it was the first time this team has having success
in how many years? It's been a while, it's right,
So I'm certain people are really really event what's the
last time I went to the playoffs? Did they give
it the good I want to say, God, when what
(27:44):
was it? Was it Bart with Bart Scott? Now I
think I think, I can't I can't wait, can't wait.
They can't wait game because because they didn't under Todd Bulls,
they didn't go to the playoffs. Right, No, yeah, so
they didn't go to the playoff U under Bowls, but
they were they were a playoff team obviously under Rex Ryan.
And also, by the way, in the Giants comparison, Daniel
(28:08):
Jones has been miles better than Zack Wilson and doesn't
get discussed seemingly at all. Nope, Like, and this is
a guy who's has no contract next year and they've
basically said we're not interested in your services beyond this point.
And he's had the best season of his career, and
it's like there's more time spent on defending Zack Wilson
(28:29):
by people in and around the media than there is. Hey,
this guy Daniel Jones actually playing really good football and
they're eight and two. Dando Jones is coming to the NFL.
He's played better the entire time. Yeah, I mean, that's
the reality of it. His rookie year through twenty four
touchdowns and twelve interceptions. He completed over sixty two or
six passes for three thousand yards. Like that was his
(28:50):
rookie year. Now you can you can make the case.
So he's kind of struggled and had his low points. Okay,
so so is that team and by the way, that
roster has been nowhere close to what the Jets have
m Baker Mayfield gets an opportunity to continue, uh, you know,
trying to revive his situation. Great spot too on the
(29:10):
road against Baltimore. Just serious when you say that you
have a Jobo back to it's just like if your
breaker maybe like can I please get my spot? Yeah,
you're gonna see the Ravens again, who you struggled against
in the division, and you're two touchdown underdogs on the road.
Have fun. It's awful. I mean, it's not the Ravens
(29:31):
defensive old it's starting around into form though. Man is
coming around. Yeah, well they brought in they get there,
getting a job of their second round. I mean, David A.
Jobo should have been a first round pick. Is he
coming back soon? I think he might be active for
this week and I know he's getting close. I'm not
sure this week and the following I mean, if he had,
(29:53):
he had he not gotten hurt, where does he get
drafted last year? I mean sure he was a stud man.
I mean it was just as good. It was just
as good. I mean, I'll put it this way. There
are some people I spoke to and this is come on.
I don't have a scouting background, but when you talk
to you guys enough, you watch enough film, you have
a general sense of what they're looking at. When they
(30:15):
would talk about his explosion and his bend, like the
way he can get low and kind of dip around
the edge, they kind of looked at him like he's
got maybe better upside than Hudginson, because you know, Hudgeson
has played for a long time and then finally burst
on the scene. Ojabo is like much more, much greener
at the position. So some people felt like a Jaba
(30:36):
might have more upside obviously before the injury and before
before all that, maybe than even Hudson does. By the way,
I didn't realize Hutchinson a six seven. He's huge. That's
a big dude, good christ man. I didn't A six seven.
How many how many edge rushers are six seven in
the NFL? Not a lot? Yeah, I don't think there's
(30:59):
a I don't think there's any at six seven, I'm
telling you, man, he reminds me of Jared Allen. That's
who he That's who he always reminds me of. Just
watched him on tape and then playing against Jared Allen.
He's that guy much better than Jared Allen. I mean,
Jay Is you know he's a beast. But that guy,
Damn Hutchinson, he's he's he's pretty built, dude. Pro. Allen's
(31:21):
a four time All Pro he was six six to seventy. Yeah,
I get it, everything frame and all that. Like it's
they're almost identical. Hutchinson is a act he's pre bro.
You don't think Hutchinson would be lucky to have the
career Jared Allen career? Yeah? Yeah, absolutely? How does thirties
(31:42):
some sacks? No, I was thinking of the physical, like
looking at him, like the look of him seventy. I know,
I know Jared, I've been around him quite a bit.
I know. I don't think they're built the same. But
if he could have a career, are like uh like
like Alan, Yeah, I'm with you. I just think I man,
(32:04):
I'm I'm impressed with with with Hutchinson's the way he looks,
you know, no, I mean not to make it weird
or not to veg of weird, you know, I mean,
but I am in like like, I'm like, I love
the way Courtney Round looked, Like I've never seen anybody
look like that. Like it just you know, there's certain
(32:25):
dudes you just you just they just look different. And
everybody else like Prince, that's different. That's a different. Now
that that one's different. That one was weird, that one
was weird. It's uh, two pros here, Sorry, we'll clean up.

out with us is always on the I Heart Radio
app coming up a little over ten minutes from now
from the tire rack dot Com studios. We do have
a little bit of controversy in our recap on over
unders from last night's game. Maybe some issues issues here well,
like one of the bets that was in play may
have been impacted by a technical air let's put it
(34:33):
that way. So somebody had a real issue. So we
will get to that a little over ten minutes from now.
By the way, we are brought to you by Discover.

So the Philadelphia Eagles decided, you know what, we got
(34:56):
an issue stopping the run. So we're just gonna go
out and in twenty four hours we're gonna sign Lindvall,
Joseph and and Dominican too, and there we go. So
they just continue to load up there in Philly, and
Dominican two is back. The Mercenary is back playing for
the Philadelphia Eagles as they make a playoff run here
with a few games left in the regular season. I
(35:16):
kind of love the role that he's like in at
this point in time. I mean it is kind of awesome.
Like he's just like, look, you know what the deal is.
He's there to win a super Bowl. He's you know,
he's gonna get paid or compensated what he believes is
worth it for him to go make that quest. But
that's what he's there for. Like he's a pro. You
(35:37):
know what you're gonna get from him. Um, Lindball, Joseph,
I mean this is to me, this is awesome to see.
And I think if you're a Philadelphia Eagles fan, you
have to be excited about having Howie Roseman as your
general manager. Like I know he's had some contentious relationships
with previous head coaches and maybe he is partially to
blame for some stuff, but he puts his team in
(35:59):
a position to be to have a shot of winning.
Every single time they got an issue they can't stop
the run. Guess what, we're gonna find two guys who
are run stuffers. They drafted Jordan Davis, who you know,
when he's on the field, they are a much better
run defense. They're allowing less than three point nine yards
for attempts when he's out there, when he's not above
five yards per attempt. So even when Jordan Davis gets
(36:22):
healthy and comes back, he'll he'll make a big difference.
So I just I love the aggressiveness. Like there's there's
not many other general managers that are willing to do
what Howie Roseman is going to do. Yeah, I don't
know how much these guys will impact them. I mean
you would assume that that a Dominican sue will impact them.
(36:42):
You you would assume that Limvo, Joseph k Kin kind
of they can be space eaters, um. But you sometimes
you just you never know, Like I could recall when
now you know, one year, we brought in like three
or four guys that we felt would would shore up
our defensive front and help us in the trenches, and
(37:06):
it kind of it just didn't. It didn't pan out
that way. And and so to be interesting to see
because there's always the idea of of having the chemistry
as well. You know, sometimes you get a good unit
and that unit they mentioned they jail together and and
that's how you know, that's how it kind of improves.
(37:26):
I wonder because they do have youth um as some
positions and and one being you know at the linebackers position.
I just wonder where you know if this is going
to improve and and and by all intensive purposes, by
name and by production body work, they have improved or
(37:46):
even stat um size wise, they have improved their defensive front.
But who's like, who is emerging as the leader you
know of of this Eagles defense? Because that's to me,
if they're going to make a run at um at
a Super Bowl this year, it's going to come down
(38:08):
to to who the leader of and leaders of of
that defense. You know, who emerges as those guys. So
you know, I'm interested to see that. You know, Fletcher
is obviously to me the undisputed guy. But you know,
are you getting that from Edwards? You know, are you
getting you know who who else? I know Darius Slay
(38:30):
in the secondary, But you know, do you have an
undisputed leader? You guys want to play a fun little
game before we got a break. Yeah, career earnings friend
Dominican sue over a hundred done. Yeah, I'm gonna give
him like a little over and this before we don't
(38:52):
know the contract details of this one. He just signed
with Philly. He's a little over a hundred and sixty
six million dollars for his career for for hats. That's
a mercenarheaded Dominican. That's a paid mercenary. Fox Sports Radio
