Ti irac dot com will help you get there and
unmatched selection, fast free shipping, free road has a protection

(01:29):
the way tire buying should be. You know what I
love is when you get these celebrity couples to get
together and it's like the big talk of the town.
Everybody's like really excited about it, and they're talking about
all the potential at all. They were seen on this
red carpet event and they're all these things are gonna
are going on, and you know, one's an actor, the
(01:49):
others a musician. Uh, they've got all and like all
of these things are factoring in and then it lasts
about like six months and then they break up and
it's like, well, you know their schedule just didn't aligne.
You know, they're just too busy, just not enough time together,
you know, ones traveling the world right now, the other
(02:09):
ones recording an album. It just it didn't really work.
And then you realize you probably could have figured that
out initially, like the thought was cool, but you probably
could have been actually seen into the future and realized, hey,
by the way, I got a tour coming up. This
doesn't make sense. You're recording an album, I've got another movie,
I've got to shoot. None of this makes any sense whatsoever.
(02:29):
So why are we doing it? That's what's kind of
playing out in the NFL right now because you remember
that big story that's been making the rounds for weeks
and weeks and weeks and weeks and months and days
and out Odell Beckham Jr. The tour. Oh, he's meeting
(02:51):
with the Bills, and then he's gonna go meet with
the Giants. And don't look now, but Odell Beckham, after
he wakes up from passing out on a plane, is
gonna go meet up with the Dallas Cowboys. And you
want to know how we know because he was at
a MAV's game sitting sideline. Oh bye, this is and
the Cowboys were feeding it as well too, and they
were talking about all, well, Odell Beckham Jr. We'd love
(03:14):
to have him in. And there was this whole marketing
tour for Odell Beckham Jr. And O b J's gotta
be here and we need more weapons, and we're talking
about you know, uh, you've got Micah Parsons and Dak
Prescott and all these guys in the Cowboys. You've got
Jerry Jones Stoke in the fire and everybody's talking like
Odell Beckham Jr. To the Cowboys, what a perfect fit.
(03:37):
But except for the fact that he's not healthy, you know,
except for all that. But hey, it's fine, We're okay,
everything's fine. So now the latest is that Odell Beckham Jr.
According to some reports from inside the building, that Odell
Beckham Jr. Is not even gonna be ready to go
(03:58):
until the middle of January. Now, I'm not trying to
bring up bad stuff here because I don't want to
piss off the Cowboy fan base because it is very large.
There's a lot of you that listen, and the last
thing I want to do is piss anybody off here
on this show. But I would just like to point
out that if Odell Beckham Jr. Is not gonna be
ready until the middle of January, based on the last
(04:21):
twenty plus years of evidence, that probably means the Cowboys
aren't gonna be played by that time. I'm just saying,
all right, and again not trying to bring up the
bad stuff here. I'm not trying to point out, you know,
all the negative stuff when it comes to the Dallas Cowboys.
But we've seen this recently. There was a lot of
people who thought there was gonna be maybe a Super
Bowl run made last year, and next thing you know,
(04:42):
Jimmy Garoppolo and company goes into town and takes it
from you. And now Mike McCarthy's gotta here for an
entire offseason that everybody on his staff is a better
head coach than him, and they would be a better option.
So I'm just saying Sean Payton's name was, I'm just saying,
so the idea that Odell Beckham Jr. Is now not
gonna be ready until the middle of January, doesn't that
(05:03):
seem like we probably could have figured that out. We
were trying to make that point in this show when
this all popped up like he had the thought is nice,
but the guy blew his knee out. It's the same
knee he had an issue with before it happened in
the Super Bowl. He hasn't played. What are we doing here?
It made all the sense in the world for Odell Beckham,
(05:26):
don't get me wrong. And he's a great player when
he's healthy. Odell Beckham Jr. Was fantastic, but it's been
a while, and he was great in the Super Bowl
until he got hurt. And like, nobody wanted to have
that conversation. It just, oh god, this is a great idea. Yeah,
but what about like the glaring issue between the two.
(05:49):
Nobody wanted to have that conversation. And we were saying
at the time, like, hold on a second. For Odell
Beckham Jr. This makes all the sense in the world.
He's a star. It keeps his name in the spotlight.
And he was telling you this much for months. Remember
when the Bills and Rams kicked off the season and
(06:09):
it was Thursday night and one of the stories that
came out of there, and it was von Miller who
was kind of throwing this stuff out there, was that
Odell Beckham Jr. Is going to sign with whichever team wins. Wait, wait,
what are you kidding me? That's like that's like me
walking by like the fanciest restaurant in the world and saying, well,
(06:31):
I'm willing to go into this place or that place,
whichever one's gonna accept my dress code. And they both say,
you're wearing sweats and you smell not happening and by
the way you do radio, you probably can't afford us anyways,
a nice thought, but now we're gonna reject you, like
Odell Beckham Jr. Is dictating terms, Well, I'll sign with
whoever wins. Wait what that was a real story. And
(06:55):
then he's showing up to this game, and he's showing
up to that game, and he's always out there. There's
the spotlight out there, and he's sending stuff out and
then you know, like we mentioned, he's on a plane
and then he gets kicked. Like all of this stuff.
For Odell Beckham, it made all the sense in the world,
but it hasn't made any sense for a lot of
the teams that have been mentioned. Does Dallas really need
(07:16):
Odell Beckham Jr. Seriously? Do they really need him? Like
when you look at the Dallas Cowboys. When you see
the problem with Dallas, do you go, man, they could
really use another wide receiver, because I don't see that
if he goes to Buffalo. What are we talking about.
Stephen Diggs is one of the best wide receivers in
the NFL. Gabe Davis seems like he scores a touchdown
(07:37):
every single game. Like they don't seem like they're really
desperate for him. Go to the Giants. The Giants ay,
you look at it and go, well, maybe that makes
a little bit of sense, Like the Giants could probably
use but the Giants felt like they were just kind
of thrown in there because of the market size. I
don't know that Odell Beckham really wants to go back
(07:57):
to New York after they traded him and the way
everything worked out. But still you come back to the
root of the issue. He's not healthy. And so now
this report comes out and it's like, who's surprised by this? God,
I can't figure out why they didn't work out. Well,
I mean I could have told you why. Uh, They're
(08:17):
they're never gonna see each other one store. It just
it never made sense from the jump. And now we
get a clear understanding as to why this is all happening,
because both sides wanted to flirt, Both sides wanted to
throw out there because it was great and it was
so on brand for everybody involved. But the fact of
the batter is, there are realities to the situation, and
according to this report that's come out of Dallas, Odell
(08:39):
Beckham Jr. May not be ready for another month, may
not be ready for another month, and by that time,
who the hell knows what involvement he would have in
the offense. What does make a little bit of sense
is to come back and try and do it all
over again in the off season, because then it feels
like there's gonna be a lot more options out there,
a lot more teams are gonna be that that have
(08:59):
money to spend, that are gonna be looking to upgrade
the position, and then we get to see what we
get with Odo Beckham Jr. Jonas Knox, Fox Sports Radio,
two pros and a cup of Joe here on FS are.
By the way, we called this shot yesterday on the show,
Baker Mayfield is now in l a ram So watch
out to the Las Vegas Raiders, who may get a
(09:20):
quarterback who's gonna be coming in on like thirty six
hours notice, uh and actually get some playing time against
the Raiders on Thursday night football and what is basically
gonna be a de facto Raider home game. It's so
Fi Stadium. But nonetheless, Baker Mayfields in l a Ram,
and to me, it does a couple of things. First
of all, it does make the Rams a little bit
more interesting. All Right, they are awful, absolutely awful. They're
(09:46):
the worst post Super Bowl team winning team that I
can ever remember, Like you can go back to the
Broncos in but like Peyton Manning had just retired and
still they were nine and seven. The Rams are atrocious,
Like they're one of the worst teams in the NFL.
The Lions are sitting back, going, okay, continue on. Throw
(10:09):
John Wofford out there. Looks like Gary Oldman. Throw him
out there. That's fine. Hey, who do you want starting
at quarterback? How about the pimp from True Romance? Throw
him out there? Why not? Let's like continue on, make
that draft pick go higher and higher. They're terrible, so
at least Baker Mayfield comes in and it's kind of interesting.
(10:33):
Adds a little something. You can also kick the tires
a little bit and see what you got in Baker Mayfield.
That's who the hell knows with Matt Stafford. Who knows
what the future looks like for Matt Stafford. So maybe
you get a little bit of a glimpse in Baker
Mayfield and and you get a little bit of a
trial and you see, okay, is this somebody that maybe
we could see as being the heir apparent to Matt Stafford.
And then all of a sudden it does this, You
(10:55):
block the Niners, And everyone can try and spin this
how they want and say, well, the Niners didn't put
a claim in for him, Well they probably weren't going to, Like,
you need proof that the Rams were trying to do
something other than try and find something interesting and kick
the tires, and they were trying to block San fran
They paid to bring in Baker Mayfield. They picked up
(11:17):
the one point three million dollars that was owed to
him by Carolina. They were the ones that made the move.
Had he gone to waivers and had an opportunity to
sign with somebody, You really think San Francisco wasn't going
to be taking a look at Baker Mayfield. You think
they wouldn't be doing their due diligence. Well, they didn't
put a claim in for him now because they're waiting
(11:37):
for him to come available. They probably thought, like a
lot of people did covering the NFL, that Baker Mayfield
was going to be on the open market and then
we make our move. But no, they weren't gonna put
in a waiver claim for him. They were gonna try
and get him for the Chiefs. They were gonna try
and get a better deal on him. So hey, it
does a little something for the Rams. But we tried
to tell you on this show yesterday. You know you've
(11:59):
probably heard at elsewhere on this network that Baker Mayfield
was probably gonna end up with the l A Rams.
And here we go. We get a little sample size
of the Baker Mayfield show in l A. Which is
appropriate considering Odell Beckham Jr. Just left And I don't
know if you noticed or not, but those two guys
don't apparently see might eye when Odell Beckham Jr's dad
(12:19):
is releasing video showing all the bad throws Baker Mayfield
made in Cleveland. So there's that, and that is that
is the latest on the will they actually work out
or pan out in their New Destination portion of this program.
Here on Fox Sports Radio, it is two pros and
a cup of Joe here on FSR. And by the way, fellas,
it's time to stop treating your groins like junk. Introducing
(12:40):
the Gillette Intimate Pubic Care Tremor. It's a gentle and
easy shade from America's number one trusted men's grooming brand.
Show your pubic regions some respect with Gillette Intimate. The
best demand can get, all right, So we're gonna have
the usual later on, I absolutely do. We're gonna have
the good stuff. Later on, we're gonna have another edition
of incase you missed it. We're gonna hand out our
midweek of awards, the good, the bad, and ugly. We're
(13:01):
also gonna have the old p Petros Papada to stop by.
We're gonna have the scraps. It's all yours. A three
hour extravagans as we take you all the way up
until nine a m. Eastern times six o'clock Pacific. But
there is a situation in the NFL that came as
a shock to a lot of people. But if you
paid close enough attention to what happened last week. You
(13:24):
could see this coming. We'll get into that for you
right here. Next on fs ARE be sure to catch
live editions of Two Pros and a Cup of Joe
with Brady Quinn, LaVar Arrington and Jonas Knocks weekdays at
six am Easter three am Pacific on Fox Sports Radio
and the I Heart Radio. It's the system of a
(13:46):
down love this song, Two Pros and a Cup of Joe.
Fox Sports Radio. It's just showing us Knocks. There's no Lavarn,
no Brady listen, Lavars celebrating call Football Hall of Famer.
He's in Vegas. It's probably still awake, having a good time,
(14:06):
not practicing my slot machine trick. Put a twenty in
a penny slot machine, bet one line one penny each
and just keep doing it until they come over with beers.
Throw him a five spot after the first beer, and
then just make sure you're within sight. And next thing
you know, you get a pile of booze just lined
(14:28):
up in front of you. You walk out of there,
cash out with your voucher, walk out with like fourteen
dollars left on the voucher. It's great cause you six
bucks to sit and gamble and drink but LaVar is
probably not doing that because he does the finer things
in life and that would not be involved hanging out
at a penny slot machine in Las Vegas after getting
inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame. But I
(14:48):
hope be back on the show with us here coming
up tomorrow. We will take you all the way up
until nine am Eastern times, six o'clock Pacific. By the way,
I do want to point out in about ten minutes
from now, something needs to be done on something needs
to be done in the world of sports. You know
what the hell this is. It involves you. Somebody's got
to make a call. They gotta step up to the plate,
and we'll have that for you here again coming up
(15:10):
ten minutes from now on Fox Sports Radio. Any first responder,
we'll tell you, never try to beat a train after
breaking It could take a mile for a train to
completely stop. So when it comes to a rail crossing,
stop because trains can. So. There was a move yesterday
that came as a real surprise to a lot of
people in the NFL. So when you think about a
(15:30):
big time move made in the National Football League, a
front office move, a coach being fired, you know things
like that, it's probably a team who's bad, Like Carolina
made the move to fire Matt Rule because you know,
I mean, Carolina wasn't good. It felt like they were
going in the wrong direction. Matt Rule, I think probably
realized what was happening where he was at, you know,
(15:53):
in the organization's viewpoint, with all the conversations that were made,
So it wasn't really that much of a surprise. We
were waiting for a move to be done. You'll see
that like coaches will get clipped all the time during
the during the season, and you look at it and go, well,
they're a bad football team and makes sense. And then
you've got the Tennessee Titans who are running away with
the a f C South, and look there's you know,
(16:17):
people can mock the a f C South all they
want and say, well, you know, I mean, why is
the a f C South even part of the conversation.
Nobody takes that division seriously. Well, it could be worse.
I mean, you could be the NFC South, who's got
bad football team after bad football team after bad football team.
But we look at it and go, well, Tom Brady's
in that divisions, everything's gonna be fine. Well, if you
(16:39):
look at the records, actually, you know it's it's not
all that hot. Things don't look all that great in
the NFC South. So you've got the a f C South,
and our friends listening right now on the zone in
Nashville know exactly what I'm talking about. The problem is
the timing of this. You look at and you you go, well,
they're their first place. Why would you make a move?
Why would you fire the general manager? So John Robinson's
(17:02):
out done, that's it. And then you think, gosh, who
did they just play? They just they just played somebody
who wasn't and they didn't look all that great. So
who didn't they look all that great against all that's right?
It was the Philadelphia Eagles. Yeah, but that's not an
a f C versus a f C matchup. It's not
a divisional game. They played the best team in the
(17:24):
NFL record wise, and they got smoked a little bit.
So why would that mean that there needed to be
a move made? With the GM getting clipped a few
days later first place in your division, a team that
you know made it to an a f C championship
game a couple a couple of years ago. They ended
(17:46):
Tom Brady's reign in New England, Like why would this
move be made? And then you think, oh, it's because
A J. Brown just lit them up for eight catches
over a hundred yards and two scores. And A J.
Brown really wanted to be a Tennessee Titan, but they
couldn't get a deal done. He got traded on Draft Day.
(18:09):
Now he's a Philadelphia Eagle, and he came back and
he haunted his ex and only a few days later,
the GM who was responsible for trading for him is
out of a job. Yeah, kind of makes a little
bit of sense. Now you can look further into this
and say, well, you know they fired a head coach
not that long ago after you want a playoff game
(18:30):
in Mike Malarkey. You know they've made moves like this
if they'll get a little impatient with something to make
a move. Let's call this what it is. And I'm
not saying it was just the A J. Brown trade.
Ryan Tannehill showed a clear, clear ceiling. The Titans have
shown a clear ceiling if Derrick Henry is not performing
at a high level and or throwing the football. Tennessee struggles.
(18:52):
But let's just call what it is. John Robinson and
the Tennessee Titans looked around the NFL and said, oh,
we could pull that off. Yeah, we could do that
exact same thing. You remember back in the day when
jackass was really popular. So you get these guys they
jump in these shopping carts and you throw them off
the side of a of a building or throw them
(19:13):
into some drive through sign, and they're wearing like trucker hats,
and and everybody was walking around with these arm bands,
like these wrist bands they would pull up to their forearms.
It was this weird look, like this weird jackass look.
And it was like, dude, you're not Johnny Knoxville. What
are you doing, Like, like, what what are you doing.
You're in your mid thirties, you're coming up on forty
(19:33):
years old, and you've got a wristband pulled up to
your forearm. You don't have carpal tunnel, and you got
a trucker hat on, like a Von Dutch trucker hat.
Like that look was out there. It's like the same
guys who were wearing Affliction T shirts. Like every guy
thought if you put on an Affliction T shirt, he
was some sort of an m m, A fighter, you're
not right. At least get some fake cauliflower here. Make
(19:53):
it look legit like you see this all the time.
You know how many guys, how many white guys are
walking around with bleached tear After Eminem came out, was like, yeah,
that's that's the look I want. Okay, Unfortunately you look
like a Q tip. All right, it's not a great
look for you. I don't know why you're trying. It's
almost like John Robinson and the Titans looked around and said, oh,
we could do that exact same thing. We could pull
(20:16):
that look off. You know what look that was? That
was the Bills Vikings look. More specifically, that was the
Stefon Diggs Justin Jefferson look. Remember when the Bills decide
and and the and the Minnesota Vikings decided to pull
off the trade. Stefon Diggs wanted to contract. Minnesota didn't
feel like they could, you know, pay him that sort
(20:37):
of money. They wanted to go in a cheaper direction,
and so they traded him to the Bills. The Bills
give up a first round pick for him, and then
with that pick, the Minnesota Vikings went out and drafted
Justin Jefferson. I can't think of another trade in recent
memory in which it's worked out well for both sides,
(20:58):
because you can argue Stefen Diggs and Justin Jefferson are
two of the top three wide receivers in the NFL,
and Stefen Diggs and Justin Jefferson are where they are
right now because of a trade involving those two teams.
So from Minnesota, they said, all right, we traded away
Stefon Diggs. He wanted a contract, it wasn't gonna get
(21:19):
done here. He did great things as a great wide receiver,
so let's go back into the draft and try and
find a replacement. And they did. And the Bills are
happy because Stefon Diggs, like you got him getting emotional
and Thanksgiving when he hugs Josh Allen. Those guys are
as thick as thieves. They're great. It worked out for
both sides. I wonder if John Robinson and the Titans
looked at it and said, all right, that's fine, we
(21:40):
can pull that off. We can make that look work.
So why don't we go ahead, We'll trade a J
Brown and then, like you know, four and a half
minutes later, we'll go ahead and we'll draft trailing Burke's
out of Arkansas. This will work. Everything's gonna be fine.
The problem is Burkes hasn't been able to stay healthy.
(22:01):
The quarterback situation in Tennessee is not ideal for the
most part. And then you've got a J. Brown going
to Philadelphia and lighting them up and having a great season.
Fits right in. They tried to do what Minnesota and
Buffalo did. They couldn't like that's a one off. They
(22:23):
tried it. It's a copycat league. They tried to pull
it off. You can't. That was a one off scenario,
and you'd be hard to find another example in NFL
history of a trade like that working out for both sides.
Like you'll find moves that have been made. A team
decides to go in a different direction at quarterback, they
(22:43):
find their replacement, the guy goes somewhere else and he excels.
You could go to the Chargers. You could look at
Philip Rivers, Drew Brees. They were both in San Diego.
The Chargers that concerns about Drew Brees, and they also
drafted Philip Rivers. Sending pack can decided, Hey, go find
work elsewhere. Drew Brees ended up in New Orleans. The
(23:05):
rest is history, and Philip Rivers had a borderline Hall
of Fame career with the Chargers, like but those are rare.
And it felt to me like the Titans looked at
this and said, look, we we don't want to put
our money towards A J. Brown. We'd like to go
in a different direction. And by the way, as we
mentioned and people listening on the zone in Nashville, you
(23:25):
probably know this by now, and it's probably why you
were six seeing what he was doing to your former team.
A J. Brown didn't want to leave, Like he's disputed
the numbers that have been thrown out there. There was
some figure that was thrown out that they were talking
million annually and A J. Brown was saying, no, I
mean I would have taken twenty two. It's why he
was so piste off about it afterwards, Like he brought
(23:47):
it up multiple times. He didn't want to go, but
they thought they could do what Minnesota and Buffalo did.
They thought they could pull off that look and they couldn't.
And then coincidentally, what a couple of days later, now
the GM who made the moves out of a job.
I just I find it hard to believe. Now there
were other issues there. They've clearly hit a ceiling. But
(24:08):
I think this is a big part of the reason
why John Robinson was fired by the Titans. Two Pros
and a Cup of Joe here on Fox Sports Radio
and fellas, it's time to stop treating your groins like junk.
Introducing the Gillette Intimate Pubic hair Trimmer. It's a gentle
and easy shape from America's number one trusted men's grooming brand.
Show your pubic regions and respect with Gillette Intimate, the
best a man can get. By the way, coming up
in about twelve minutes from now, we have a major
(24:30):
steroid allegation in the world of sports. Who doesn't love
a little steroid allegation talking about guys that may or
may not be on the gas. So we'll get into
that here coming up twelve minutes from now, and another
edition of In case you missed it all Right, So
I remember in the middle of the pandemic when there
was nothing going on, like people were like desperate to
(24:51):
watch anything, and so you know, people were watching Tiger
King for a second and third time, like how many?
How many times you gotta watch? Drug addicts abuse animals
and get their arms ripped off? Like how many? How
many different times? You gotta watch that before you go?
You know, there's nothing. Really This doesn't make me feel
any better about the fact that I can't go to
a grocery store without a mask on, and I can
(25:13):
only buy one ply toilet paper and only one at
a time, and I've got to wipe it down with
sanitizer when I get home because I've been told that
it's really dangerous, Like how many Like nothing about that
show made anybody feel better, But you were desperate, So
you're watching that. You're watching the Michael Jordan's Last Dance
fake documentary, You're watching like whatever you can. You are
(25:34):
just going through Netflix or whatever it is, just trying
to find anything. You'll watch anything. And I remember thinking
at the time, I'll never complain about there being too
much sports going on. I'll never do it again because
you're really missed it. You know, you're sitting around, you
know you you you gotta stay six ft apart from everybody,
(25:55):
and you're like, man, you know what what i'd kill
for right now? A timberwool of hornets game. That'd be awesome,
Just just just something live like I'll speak from personal experience.
Probably one of the one of the times that I
thought for sure my fiance was gonna leave me my
now wife, was when I was betting on a horse
(26:18):
race in Japan on a Saturday night. All Right, the
movie theaters were closed. There were plenty of movies on television,
but I had to scratch the itch. And I remember
betting on a horse race in Japan. The jockeys were
wearing masks. Okay, the ent surprised. The horses weren't wearing masks.
The whole thing was odd, but we did it. I
remember thinking, I'll never complain when sports comes back, I'll
(26:42):
never complain. There's too much sports? Was it to two
and a half years later, There's too much going on?
All right, there's too much at some point, like I
I mean, last night, I found myself I'm watching Duke Iowa.
Then I venture over to to the Dallas Denver game
(27:05):
and I'm I'm like scrolling around. There's you got college
basketball all over the place. You've got the World Cup
going on, you got NFL games left and right, You've
got college football bull season coming up, and like now
we're like we're at that point of the year at
college basketball, the NHL is out. At some point, somebody's
(27:26):
got to step up and stop being a selfish bastard
and move in a different direction and say, you know
what will adjust on the fly, will be the ones
will do this for the betterment of everybody involved, all right?
That somebody should be the NBA. It's probably not gonna happen.
The NBA should move their season back. It's probably not
gonna happen. But there's too much going on. Like when
(27:47):
I have friends who don't work in sports and they
tell me, hey, do you see that new show that
came out? No, I didn't like. I really didn't like.
I don't have time. What about that new Christmas movie
that came out? Do you see that? Like the new
When the New Game of Thrones came out, everyone said, hey,
what do you think of that new Game of Thrones?
Something do came? What didn't she get killed by that guy? Didn't?
(28:10):
Didn't John Raine or whatever his name is called, didn't
he didn't he put a ship in her like it
was some prison scene. Most positive that the really attractive
blonde girl who wrote around on dragons and had some
dragon fetish got shived by her boyfriend at the end
of Game of Thrones almost positive, and so people are like, well,
(28:31):
you've seen the new one that came out. What new one?
What are we talking about here? There's too much going on.
There's too much sports, alright, So I'm not saying get
rid of everything? Can we just move some stuff around?
Right Like? It's almost like sports has become a hoarder. Look,
look like, move the two go boxes from the eighties
over there, and let the newspapers from the seventies or
(28:53):
the sixties go over to that corner so I can
at least walk over and get like a glass of it.
We're hoarding at this point. You got to move some
stuff around. There's way too much going on. I promised
myself I wasn't gonna bitch in the moment. You've noticed it,
We've all noticed it. Somebody had to speak on it.

(31:03):
The guys are here to bring you you missed it.
After that, we turn it over to our executive producer
lead Do Do Do Do Do Do Do Do Doital
Lap jonas case you missed it. Connor McGregor and Joe
Rogan aren't on a great speaking terms. Recently. Rogan has
been accusing McGregor of using PD since he's broken his
(31:25):
leg back in. McGregor has since uh since gone to
Twitter to refute that and uh called Joe Rogan kind
kind of the same thing. Yeah, Okay, well here's here's
what the point that was being made. So Rogan did
a podcast with this guy Derek from a site called
(31:46):
more Plates, More Dates, and it's a guy who the
name sounds a little bit kind of you know, goofy,
but he's he legitimately knows this stuff when it comes
to taking substances, and he'll call out professional athletes, celebrities
and say, look if they were if they were taking
an illegal substance, this is probably what it is. And
the dude is legit. He knows his stuff. And so
(32:07):
they did a podcast together and they pointed out that
UFC fighters have to enter into this Usada pool to
where you're randomly tested whenever they want. They'll show up
to your to your house, they'll show up in them
in the middle of the night. They've shown up to
to uh at the hotels in the middle of guys
cutting weight at like four in the morning. And the
(32:29):
UFC has gotten piste about it and said, dude, these
guys are cutting weight to try and make a fight,
and you're showing up so you can randomly give him
a piss test to see whether or not they're gonna
piss hot. And so What ends up happening is that
when you leave the UFC, if you're out of the
Usada pool, it takes a little bit of time before
you're cleared to come back because you have to be
(32:51):
in the pool for like six months or something like that. Well,
Connomer Greg hasn't fought in a while, and he's not
in the Usada pool, and so people kind of looked
and said, well, that's a little weird. If he's begging
for a fight and he wants to fight again, why
do you why do you get out of the Usada pool?
Looked a little bit fishy, and so the theory they
were thrown around was he's coming off this broken leg.
(33:13):
His leg shattered and snapped during a fight against Dustin Pourier.
He hasn't fought since, so maybe he got out of
the Usada pool so he could take some substances to
try and help his bone heal and help him heal
a little bit. There are certain things you can take
that even if he gets back into the pool and
they start testing him, he's gonna piss hot again. So
(33:33):
there are options for him to take something that would
help him heal up better. And it's fair like We've
seen guys do that before, like Julian Edelman when he
tores a c L Remember he got a four game
suspension when he came back, and it was like, well, yeah,
but I mean he's not really trying to like take
it to cheat so much as he was trying to heal.
Like all, like a lot of that stuff is legit
(33:55):
like that there there is a lot of healing power
with it, and so of course Connor McGregor got hold
of it, and uh, and Connor McGregor just started firing
off some accusations. What's interesting, though, is that Rogan has
sort of implied and hinted that Connor McGregor might be
a little bit of a snowblower, if you know what
I mean, might be uh, you know, might might might
(34:15):
like that booger sugar a little bit, you know that
that's not sand, you know, might might like that the
funny white stuff there, that powder. And Connor McGregor I
don't recall ever saying anything about this, but this one
got him fired up enough to where he shot back
at him. So, I mean, who, who the hell knows?
But now I don't think Rogan's doing steroids. Rogan has
actually been honest about taking like human growth growth hormone.
(34:38):
But dude, what do you think some of these actors
are doing to get in shape for these movies? These
guys in their forties and fifties, these guys are jacked.
What do you think they're taking. They're probably taking something
to help him out. I don't I mean to me,
I don't care. I don't see what the problem is.
If you're not playing a professional sport and you're not
you know, you know, cheating the system in real time,
I don't know what the issue is. And if Connor
McGregor has taking this to heal up and he's not
(34:59):
taking it the actual fights, to me, it's not that
big of a deal. What else we got, leave Jonas?
The three Christmas Day games are right around the corner,
and one that we might have to sit through, unfortunately,
is the Broncos at Rams at Sofi Stadium. One thing
that might make it a little bit better, actually is
it being uh broadcast on Nickelodeon for christ So people
(35:21):
are gonna get slimed. Oh yeah, more slime, they say,
more slime than ever. Is there any option to watch
it with so? Is Nickelodeon the only one showing it,
or is there like another option to watch the game.
There is another option. I think I will watch it
on Nickelodeon to tell you the truth, you know, to
be honest with you, my kid might actually might actually
(35:42):
entertain the idea of wanting to sit through that. I mean,
because look, I'm the way he's behaved lately, I got
us for you. Santa's fatass ain't rolling down that chimney
anytime soon, buddy with it with the stuff you've done
to the house lately. So maybe you gotta make him
sit through you know, some some Nickelodeon action to try
and to try and get exit at it about football,
But it's Rams Broncos and it's so bad, man, Like
(36:05):
those teams are so bad. Like I actually like there,
although I will say this, if Baker Mayfield plays Baker
Mayfield versus Russell Wilson might make it a little bit
more interesting. But yeah, look, if you've got to do
whatever you need to do. Does Nickelodeon have a sports book?
If they had a sports book to where you kids
could gamble, like but you would set like a certain limit,
(36:25):
like kids could only gamble like you know, like like
they would need to show proof of their allowance, and
then they could only gamble half of it so they
wouldn't be reckless financially. I mean, look, you've got kids
ordering Uber eats, You got them going to Starbucks and
getting like a triple shot VENTI after they leave school.
Why can't kids, you know, put a sports book up
on a Nickelodeon game and start firing out bets. They'll
(36:48):
probably be better than me a gambling. I don't see
what the issue is. All right, what else we got
lee a World Cup better has taken a sports book
for over a million dollars. He put down ninety dollars
on Morocco to beat Spain. And this was before they
even advanced past the group stage. They were at eleven
to one odds prior to that. All right, so this
guy put ninek and Morocco to advance to the quarterfinals. Yeah,
(37:14):
and nobody's looking into that. Nobody's looking into uh, into
the fact that this guy has bet ninety dollars on
Morocco to get like, And I'm not trying to be
I'm not trying to you know, be reckless here. But
if we're gonna rank sports that have had issues with gambling.
Soccer is kind of near the top of the list,
wasn't it u Ventus the Italian team who had issues.
(37:37):
Remember remember Buffon the goaltender like the second league, second down. Yeah,
Like to this day there's people that still think the
goaltender who's like one of the greatest goaltenders of all
time for Italy was involved in a major gambling scandal.
But they're like, yeah, whatever, you know, it happens. You know,
we'll bring him back for another stint. So who knows,
maybe they'll look into that at some point. Jonas knocks here,
