you dogs, No, I just encourage you to do it.
Not allowed to come on snip that. I'm not allowed.
It's just that I respect it. So I'm just like,
you know, it's a very very old tradition connected to
throwing up the hulks. Yeah, Brady's taught me all about it. Yeah,
(01:51):
I mean, I know, took me through the entire Do
they have que dogs at a Notre Dame do like
Black Greeks at a Notre Dame? I'm assuming they would. Yeah,
I mean that that would be that would be my
my guests. I mean, I think actually Brady's researching that
right now, so we can go ahead and make sure
that we have the answer on that. But nonetheless, as
(02:12):
soon as we get the answer on that from Brady Quinn,
it is two pros and a cup of Joe Here
Fox Sports Radio, LaVar Arrington, Brady Quinn Jonas knocks with

the hell you are making us a part of your
Friday morning. We appreciate you doing so, and we will
take you all the way up until nine am Eastern times,
(02:34):
six o'clock Pacific. I do got to ask you that
before we jump into the festivities here. Do you still
have your ring on? Is the College Football Hall of
Fame ring still on? I'll take it off at night.
I'll take it off at now what about showering? Yes,
I take it off. I give it a break. Okay,
I give it a break. I just wanted to make
(02:54):
sure I showed everyone at the holiday party that was
that was the holiday party. Uh deal for me? You know,
I wanted everybody to say that the holiday party. You know.
It's perfect timing. Yeah, you get to you. Yeah. So,
I don't know if if you guys noticed this or not,
But you know, I'm just kind of scanning through some
(03:15):
of my paperwork, like looking through like right, I couldn't
have that ring. I'll tell you that if it for this,
I wouldn't be able to have that ring, I'll tell
you that. So it's like I'm looking through and I'm
looking at, you know, Monday, and I'm looking at Tuesday,
and I'm like, okay, well Wednesday came around, you know,
Thursday has some Thursday football getting into and then I realized, all,
for the love of Christ, it's a football. It's a
(03:35):
football Friday. Yeah, yeah, Friday night and Friday. Yeah, come
on football Friday, College Technical ball Hall, same ring. It
is football Friday Friday. We're gonna do it the game, right, yeah,
(03:58):
come on, Sandall fright say. I thought it was so
heated twice, so I always say it was in for Roberto.
He was probably not field all that great. Although I
do have an update on Berto coming up throughout the
show because I did actually here. Okay, okay, after everything,
he's fine. Yes, there's there's two narratives I think that
(04:21):
are going based on last night. If you follow the broadcast, okay,
and you're in the kirk Curb Street side of things,
you're saying, this is the greatest comeback of all time.
We've never seen a quarterback do this in the history
of the And also Baker Mayfield made a mockery of
training camp. I don't know if you heard that line
that he yes, no, there's no point, there's no point
going to training camp. I'm not sure if you know that. Um,
(04:44):
there's the other side of where you go if you're
a Raiders fan. What the hell was that? It's unbelievable.
They've got three of the worst losses that I can recall,
the Cardinals loss, the Jeff Saturday lost night in Nicole.
I'm gonna say, Jeff Saturday and whatever the hell that
was last night? No wonder burn Oh boozes up and
(05:05):
then walks home from Bars. Now I get it. What
the hell has happened? By the way, I think if
they win that game, but and you're up thirteen points
in the fourth quarter with how many left before they
scored that nine minute drive, it just ate up the
entire fourth quarter to get them within a touchdown. I
(05:25):
was thinking to myself, all right, like that's great progress.
This has been incredible by Baker Mayfield, because you know,
you go in there on Tuesday and you're trying to
run an offense on Thursday. It's ridiculous, it really is. However,
he's also been in the league five years. Like that
was one of the things that I kind of when
(05:45):
Kirk saying that, I'm like this, say, isn't Connor Cook
trying to start a game in the playoffs for what
the Raiders back when Derek Carr got hurt. It's a
little different. Like he's been around enough. He's on his
third team in five years, and he's seen a lot
of systems from his time and leveland Carolina and now
with l A and so he should be able to
go out there and basically throw a few different concepts
(06:08):
even if he hasn't worked with those guys like football's football.
It wasn't that that was quite impressive. It was more
of the two minute drive down the stretch because that's
something that you know he's out there just kind of
slinging it around. But it does take you to have
some knowledge of that. And so I'm sure. And the
reason why I'm sure it's like my first start in
the NFL my second year was on a short week,
(06:28):
found out late Monday night, had one week of practice
on Thursday. Yeah, And so what part of the way
you prepare for something like that is you're you're handling
the situations first, You're saying, all right, two minute third down,
red zone. These are the things that I really need
to key in on because first at second down, they
probably gonna run in the football decent amount. You know,
(06:50):
first and second down probably gonna be quick game play
action pass things that aren't overly overly complicated. Most play
action passed plays, it's just a progression one too three, checkdown,
one to check down and that's it because you're gonna
get max protection. So there's not quite as much that
you're as concerned about compared to the dropback game, like
when you're in sect or two minute drives, like when
(07:11):
you're in third and long and you saw some of
those completions on third and long. So look, Sean McVeigh
is a hell of a play caller that that helped
there too, But I also think he's got a great
rapport for working and pulling out the best in quarterbacks.
So incredible job by by Baker and McVeigh, but also
incredible left down by the Raiders defense. I mean, I mean,
(07:32):
it still takes having timing, you know, like theft a
lot of those routes though when you look at some
of third down for sure, but when you're just throwing
posts and anything down the field or deeper crossing routes.
It's not about so much timing in that respect. A
lot of that's just like, hey, I've just gotta drop back,
get to a certain point, to that point on the field. Yeah,
(07:53):
I mean, and and it and it. The funny thing
was obviously Baker based on a couple of the rug gaffs,
you're like, well, clearly study throwing the football board. They
did like his fullwork of the handoffs, which is what
you do as a quarterback. You know, sometimes the run
plays you might kind of take for granted which way
you're going and all that gloss over it. But um,
the way they were doing it with the seven man protections,
(08:13):
you know, a tied end running back to kind of
hip and help on the edges. With with Jones and Crosby,
there's there's really only you know, a couple of guys,
three guys out in the route progression, so you know
you're getting protected and then you know, really once you
three where I'm going. And that's that's the nice thing
about all of those deeper drops and those those seven
man protection plays. It's not quite as um relying reliant
(08:35):
on the timing and chemistry with the receivers. So again
smart by Sean McVeigh to have those plays the boots, uh,
the role right they got on the fourth and one
two acres that he completed that extended the first touchdown drive.
All those things are really really smart because their plays
Baker's run and they don't involve timing and chemistry. Out
(08:55):
played Derek Carr. I know that. I mean, that's that's
a fact that that was brutal last night, and like
they were. They made the point and I'll give him credit.
They said, Man, you know, the Rams are banged up
Raheem Morris, and what they're doing on defense is keeping
them in this game. Because the Raiders should have ran
away with that game and you're looking up at the score,
going there's still hope for some reason, like they couldn't,
(09:17):
like they Davantae Adams had that one big catch. He
only finished with three grabs. Yeah, but he made some
really big grams. But they made some big grab you know, Listen,
it wasn't a high scoring affair. Um, so there was defense,
you know, even even in their collapse. I mean, the
(09:38):
Rams didn't give up a whole lot you know, in
the game. It's just said that they're what they gave up.
Happened when it happened. You know, that's what's said for
the Rams, you know, I mean it's just one of
those things I think they can't they well, not the Ram,
excuse me for for the for the Raiders. It's like
(09:59):
you can't get a they can't get a break. You know,
the Rams haven't been able to get a break, and
they finally did get a break. But it was just
it was interesting to see that this has been a
pattern that they've created. You know, get leads have a
league for as long as they have and then some way,
(10:20):
somehow they let it get away. And and and the
biggest question that I had, you know, after after leaving
that game was why are they making the mistakes that
they're making. I mean, like the turnovers that that took place,
to the big time fumble that took place in the
third that you know, it was just ball security, it
(10:40):
was I mean, you you saw Josh Jacob's hand and
he broke his hand on planning on that. I mean,
I was gonna say, like, like how much did the
injury play a factor? Because he literally could only hold
the ball in his left arm because his right hand
was broken and you saw the one player on the
sideline he tried to stiff arm and it was in
a ton of paying And for a guy that makes
(11:01):
that offense go, I feel like you're limited, right, Like,
I don't even know how. I don't think they target him.
And then in the throwing game after that, because he
was playing with one hand out there. Yeah, but if
you're gonna be out there, you gotta hold it. If
you're gonna be out there and you have the ball,
you gotta hold I just you know, and I get that,
and I understand that, but it's just little things that
(11:23):
take away the momentum, little things that give a team
that you know, these are both two teams that are
struggling this year, so you can't you gotta you know,
you just gotta limit limit any type of giving them hope,
because I mean, at times there were there was it
was ugly, you know, some of the some of the games,
some of the parts you know, it was it was
(11:43):
kind of ugly, or there was there was defense, you know,
And I don't know, I just think the way these
guys loses is I think that's way harder the way
that to accept the fact, like saying, Okay, they're they're
not a good team, but yeah, they like they could
easily have three more wins than what they have right now. Well,
(12:06):
then let me post this to you because because before
before the game, I was like, all right, they're gonna
win this game. They're gonna get six and seven and
maybe outside shot like that's four in a row. Maybe
they're a playoff team if they keep this rolling, because
their schedule is not that difficult, especially with San Francisco
now with Brock pretty at quarterback not Jimmy g you
(12:27):
start kind of rolling through it a little bit. We
k team they had the Chiefs. Maybe the Chiefs aren't
starting the starters because they've got locked up that number
one spot and already the division. So you start kind
of playing through their scenarios. And now after that loss,
that that sort of collapse up thirteen and the fourth
like that, you start going to win a second It
is is Josh fertinga safe I mean, we we've talked
(12:50):
about how you know, Mark Davis's cast strap, that would
be hard to be able to pay off McDaniel's payoff,
Dave's Eagleer, the general manager who they brought in together
as a team. I mean, we're seeing John Carroll University
of pictures of those two together. But it'd be really
tough to have to pay off everyone to go find
another head coach. Meanwhile, you already had to pay off
John Gruten from what was it? And we can surely
(13:12):
get into the list of people that are now part
of that lawsuit. Welcome to the Washington Commanders. Yeah, it's
uh when they lose like these are like bad losses,
like these are egregious double digit leads and you're looking
around going what the hell? Man like undisciplined, like the
penalties that kept that final drive going. I mean, Baker
(13:35):
Mayfield has been there an hour and a half and
went yards on their defense, So what the hell was that?
And you can say, Ben scronic, dude, I mean it's
stay well. I just I don't know that anyone expected that.
I mean, the third down conversions, the bigger place down
the stretch, and it was he became kind of like
a go to guy for a little bit. So it's
always nice to have a big target. The throats you like,
(13:56):
you want to hear speaking. I was going to say,
speaking of just Saturday, if this was Jeff Saturday's coach
teams losing the way that they just lost last night,
you know what, we would be saying, he's in over
his head, he doesn't know what he's doing. How do
you blow a league like lead like this? And and
(14:16):
here we are looking at a guy that's a proven
vet in his game as a coach, and they're they're
having epic breakdowns, you know, during and the listen. They
did have a nice little run going. But you can't
lose games this way. Like, you just can't lose games
this way. It's tough. I mean book book teams had injuries.
(14:38):
You know, the Raiders offensive line was playing with two
guys down just from the with the right tackle there.
Mumford had to come in and he was playing. He's
a rookie out of Ohio State. They had uh Simpson
come in the draft pick that a few years ago.
I believe he came in the right guard spot. I
mean that the entire right side of the offensive line,
you know, all of a sudden, looked like a completely
different group in the second half due to some of
(14:59):
the injury too. I'm not trying to make excuses for him.
It was just an odd, odd game and the way
the whole game flow went down. And you know how
you really give give Jon Ramsey credit. You know, everyone
wants to talk about that ridiculous cast by Davonte Adams.
You saw Ramsey matched up and Adams pretty much the
rest of the game wasn't much going on, like he
like he he kept him to three catches and and
(15:20):
I don't know, I just look at it at Baker
Mayfield by the way afterwards, and I wanted to get
you guys thoughts on this. He was talking with the
Amazon Prime crew and him and Ryan Fitzpatrick were both like, yeah,
we were shocked that they were in press coverage that
final touchdown to Van Jefferson, like they couldn't. He was like,
I thought for sure they were going to drop back
knowing the situation. He goes, once I saw that they
(15:41):
were just there, I just threw it up to him
like they were shocked. So that's just, uh, That's what
I'm saying. Like Patrick Graham, who's the defensive coordinator for
the Raiders, is supposed to have it a solid reputation
as like a defensive vine. I'm like, dude, no one's
running the football right now, what are you doing? You
gotta running back. I mean, like, you gotta can't make
us who had a fumble early in the game, and
(16:02):
it felt like they kind of lost some confidence in
him after that, like a lot of just kind of
play action and from time to time they'd give it
to him, but they really kind of just shifted to say, hey,
we're down two scores, we need to throw to get back.
And I'm like, the easiest thing you could do for
a quarterback is played press man to man or even
press postie zone. Now, I just I'm working to a matchup.
(16:22):
I don't have to read anything, especially with the go route.
So I just I was I was a bit surprised.
That's why I kind of come into it as a
quarterback saying, look, it was incredible how Baker was able
to go in there next cute and play. He is
a five year veteran who started a lot of football
games in this league and played a bunch of different systems.
So I didn't walk into it like and write it
(16:43):
off like I think Ryan Fitzpatrick or some of the
others on the set where at halftime saying like, oh,
this isn't gonna work, Like, no, dude, he's played football.
He knows football. He played a lot in college. Like
he's an experienced guy, he's a smart guy. But you
can't give him like easy easy reads and things otherwise,
like you give him every opportunit to go in there
and do what he did last night. He also pointed out,
he said, look, I don't I don't like the fact
(17:04):
that I've had so many different head coaches throughout the
course of my career. He goes, but all that stuff
came in handy. He's like, all those concepts, all those
offenses came in handy in those moments because I realized, Man,
I've played through a lot of this stuff, so you know,
it wasn't it was there in football's football you call
it different stuff. But you've had a bunch of different
people kind of coach you up, and here's what you
(17:25):
come to realize. And trust me, I've played on enough
teams to know and you know kind of went on
the back like that to know. You know what every
coach we'll start to realize and agree with is when
you when when you do something that works, Like they
can have a system, they can have work, they can
have a read, they can have a progression. But if
If you do enough things that work, they'll look at
(17:47):
you and be like, well, wait, so why do you
do it this way? And they'll start asking you questions.
And the older you get, the more you play, or
the more you've been around certain coaches, they'll say, hey,
I've seen it done a lot of ways. You do
it how you feel comfortable. You do it how you
feel most confident, because that's what you're gonna lead to
the most success. It's not the coach out there doing
anything that you don't make. Those plays you might put
(18:08):
you in that position, but once you're in that position
as a player, you have to execute. You know, your fork,
your eyes, everything else that you're doing as a quarterback
has to be You have to be comfortable and confident
in or deliver those throws. And so that's part of it. Man,
is like he had nothing to lose going out there,
did he? And that's that And that's that's where you
can be dangerous. Yeah, yeah, you can wait talking about

that fun stuff here on a football Friday. Yeah, that's
kind of interesting. Hey, LaVar, I gotta ask you, but
I've got to talk to Bib. How are we doing
the big eduction Vegas everything else? I tried to get
ahold of all my buddies who was out there for
(20:59):
I said, please go up to the gradually introduce yourself
to Lavard. He definitely did. Yeah, it was great. It
was great. Man. Uhum, yeah, I feel great. I just
I don't know, I just feel different, man. You just
you just feel different out there. Something like that. Something
like that changes you. It really does change inside inside. Yeah, man,
(21:23):
is it's just you know, you know, I don't think
people realize like one thing I can say. You know,
it's funny because so many people talk about how they
love to focus in on you when you and I
have our our moments of it's like you know, like okay,
Q or okay LaVar, you know, and they're like you know,
you guys got And I was like, you know, you
(21:45):
start to think about people don't realize how much time
and energy we put into knowing what we know or
doing what we're doing and executing what we're executing. Some
people take it a little lighter than there's but you know,
it's like when you spend your time and you spend
(22:05):
your life trying to accomplish and accomplish at a high level.
It doesn't happen by accident. It never happens by accident.
And it's like when you get a moment in time
like that where you're honored for all those moments that
you put in. It's like, I'm not gonna say what
(22:25):
people didn't do. I'm gonna say all the things that
I did do, you know, And so it's like when
one of those types of moments happened where you get
recognized for it. I kept forgetting that I was part
of the reason why all those people were there and
and all of the you know, the celebrating and all that.
I kept forgetting. It's so weird. It felt so weird.
(22:50):
And then at one moment, at one moment, I kind
of like I let go and accepted it, you know,
because it's like you're so I just I can tell
by the way you you do things, and and and
the way you handle things. It's like you're always trying
to be successful again or more, you know what I mean.
(23:11):
So sometimes it's hard to stop and be like like dang,
like like this is what I did? You know, this
is this is this is what all that hard work
and all that preparation and you know, all those moments
in time where you could have not did it, but
you did do it. It's like it was pretty cool, man,
It's pretty cool. I'm not gonna lie like I'm still
(23:34):
I'm still right in the high of it, because it's
just it's it's a forever thing. Like you That's what
what started to really kind of sink in is is
that you did something that now it'll be recognized and
it will be you know, observed, observed forever. Yeah, it's
pretty cool man, It's amazing. I mean. The only thing
(23:55):
that stands in your way of of not being recognized
forever is if we all often move the Mars and
the plan gets hit by like a comet or something.
Outside of that, though, I hope, I hope they take
our culture and I hope they take it the Mars.
I don't know how they would play football there, but
at least they'd be like in an ancient ancient time
back in in uh, you know the world and on Earth,
(24:18):
there was this sport called football, and and these were
our greatest, you know, our greatest college football players that
did it. You know. But but do they throw up
the hooks and mars like does that happen up there
or No? I don't think we speak by that point.
I think we all like have those like chips that
Elon Musk is creating, but they just put in our
(24:40):
brains and like to to Thevar's point, actually, I think
it carries with you because that'll be part of our
history of humanity. So everyone in the chip in their
head will just have this like this all this football
knowledge right of what's happened happened previously. But I also
think like, well, like telepathically and talk to each other.
I think that's what we'll be at, Dan, We're just
(25:02):
going to live in in a in a Yeah, what
what's the what's that new? The new space that everybody's
buying real estate and stuff like that. The metaverse, the
metaverse that's already being jumped over though there's like AI
that's already leap frog and ahead of that, did you
have you guys tried to try that chat GPT. It's
(25:24):
literally it's artificial intelligence that you can go go look
us up. You can go have a conversation with it.
Like there, there's now artificial intelligence that you can give
them a few things and they can write you an email.
They could do all they can hurt. They're making they're
making robots that are like that, like four guys, what
(25:45):
do you mean for the Jonas Knox in the world.
What kind of robots for guys? For what? Yeah? Performance, yes,
and they can talk to you like a person. I
mean you can go buy one for like sixty bucks.
It's got an air valve and you can put it
away and it's easy to pack. Like why do you
need a robot to do all that? Come on a
little the show is over, goodbye. I mean people use,
(26:07):
people use, people use floatation devices and pools. If if
you got to get after it a little bit and
you're a little lonely, why could you imagine if somebody
use that as a floatation device in a public like
like I don't want my crotch grab by robotcop not
if you were laying face down and it was face
up and you were you were floating on that in
a pool as a floating Could you imagine that? Could
you imagine? You could imagine? I feel like I've seen
(26:29):
that before. Try going to put you here in the summertime.
Up here, you see a lot of things you can't forge.
By the way, all my Cleveland folks know exactly what
I'm talking. If you're listening to this right now, you've
been to Putting Day. You've seen how wild those Bachelor
Bachelor that parties get that you do get a little
those pools they are not filled with water. All right,
Oh wow, what's going on there? If you ask me?
(26:56):
Thank God for the chlorine. I had a buddy when
we went up there one time. He was it was hammered.
We read a jet skis and he had to go
the bathroom so bad he just he went right there
and Lake Gary. Yeah, yeah that story. Well, at least
he's healthy, you know, yeah, he's health. If it floats,
(27:18):
you're you're good. If it if it's you're bad. You know.
We were trying to like figure out where it was
because I want to drive through that a jet ski
you remever think about like I started thinking to myself,
I'm glad you said that, right. Do you ever think
about how many fish like do what they do their business?
You know, you ever think about how many wild animals
(27:40):
do their business? They don't need trash compactors and and
dump land and stuff like that. You know, like it's
like you drop it, you leave it, you keep it going.
You hit a tree, you you you spread it, you
keep it move? Why do we have Why can't we
just go back to like prehistory or times? Man, you know,
(28:01):
just figure it out? Can I can I throw out
an idea why we wouldn't want to do that? Have
you seen monkeys rapes crap at the zoo? Like they yeah,
they're they're basically playing patent go with their turn? Have
you have you seen some of these jail these jail shows.
You know, people throw it too, you know what I mean,
like just say it. I mean, as much as that
(28:23):
would be pretty that's that's the truth. People throw as
much as that would be pretty disrespectful. I also think
you're not thinking about like the two minutes after you
sling the poop at someone, Like now you got poop
on your own hand, You can't touch your eyes, you
get pink eye next, you gotta figure out a lot
of things in life before you can eat, before you
can do a lot of things. I just think people
(28:46):
who are capable of doing that don't care the hand
on their hand. Yeah, well basically there don't care or
they don't have the intelligence to realize I'm making a
decision and this decision is gonna drastic impact the next
probably ten hours of my dad took a shower. There's
not a lot of showers in the J. Jill cells. Yeah,
(29:07):
but then then you take it to the kid level,
to a kid, I hit you a kid to hit
you up too. You know, they'll take that diaper what
you didn't you never experienced that, and you're kind of
at that age. You're at that age. Yeah, you're at
that age now where you know, I've seen babies take
that that diaper off and and play dodgeball with it,
like you know, they played that duty caught the dodgeball
(29:30):
for keeps, you know what I mean. I've seen people
get hit unsuspecting, like I didn't know they were about
to get hit and they just got smeared on their
back or something like that. Like I've seen some extreme
cases of baby, uh, you know, poop throwing successfully done executed.
You know where there's a lot of poop throwing last
(29:52):
night that that Raiter's defense was a great point. They
were throwing it around. Man, they were throwing it around.
Would be some some major changes they are happening, that's
for sure. By the way, it is two pros and
a cup of Joe. Here on Fox Sports Radio, LaVar Arrington,
Brady Quinn, Jonas knocks with the air and fellas, it's

latest from around the world of sports. A man who's
never told a lie in his life. He's the one
(30:35):
and only Edmund Garcia. Well, at least that I'm not
a radio lie. Uh, I leave that to Ben Maller.
I agree that lies. Yeah, I mean, I'm an honest guy.
Brady knows about my honesty on the air, so I'm
the same way you saw Ben cheating one of his
little game shows. Yeah. Have you heard anyone lie as
(30:59):
much as Jonas on live radio? Yeah? Ben Maller Ben
Ben Ben lies at least once per segment. He told.
He told the radio world that I had retired from
radio when I was not sick. And everyone loves a
(31:21):
comeback Eddie. Yeah, yeah, Well, it's good to be back.
It's good. Yeah, we're happy to have you back. You

sick and had a vacation and but I'm gonna come
here now, and I'm excited to tell you about a
come back for the Rams last night well against the
Raiders in Los Angeles. Uh. It was sixteen to three
(31:43):
Las Vegas with just over three minutes to go, but
the Ram scored a touchdown, got the ball back minute
forty five to play on their own two yard line,
all the way down the field ninety r drive and
it was capped by Baker Mayfield. R T passed wide
receiver VENG Jefferson with ten seconds played. The extra point
gives him the seventeen sixteen victory. As for Baker, Mayfield,
of course, claimed off waivers on Tuesday from Carolina. He
(32:05):
didn't start the game, came in the first quarter, finished
twenty two of thirty five passing two hundred thirty yards.
With that game when he touchdown no interceptions. Ram snapped
their six game losing skid, improving to four and nine
on the season. Vegas Is three game win Street comes
to an end there now. At five and eight, news
from the NFL a House Oversight Committee released a report
on the Washington Commanders and owner Dan Snyder, describing Snyder
(32:27):
as permitting and participating in a toxic work environment that
included allegations of mistreating female employees. Report also holds the
NFL responsible for covering up a written report made last
year in response to the allegations. Just three games in
the NBA, the Nuggets get a Jamal Murray three pointer
at the buzzer, beat the Trailblazers one twenty heat over
the Clippers one fifteen to one ten, and the Spurs
snap at eleven games skid, beating the Rockets one eighteen
(32:49):
to one O nine. Tom College Basketball to the delight
of Iowa. Sam Iowa beats Iowa State ranked fifty six.
We had number twenty five Ohio State winning at the
buzzer against Rutgers sixty seven to sixty six. In baseball,
the New York Mets signed outfielder Brandon Nimo eight years,
hundred and sixty two million dollars. Also acquire reliever David
(33:10):
Robertson one year, ten million dollars. In the NHL, the
Maple Leaves shut out the King's five nothing. Toronto's Mitch
Marner extends his point street to twenty one games in
a row. Speaking of the NHL, Tonight, the New Jersey

got going on. Burno is also out, so we have
(35:21):
We've got Iowa Sam, We've got Brandon Troopher with us,
and Iowa Sam is going to step up to the
plate and handle this today's edition of In case you
missed it, So looking forward to this alright, go ahead, well,
in case you miss it here that liver king Fellow.
He was in the news. He was discussing his out
of control steroid use and he now vows to actually
(35:42):
go natural for real. What do you think about Yeah,
I wouldn't do. He's got up his liver intake. Did
you hear the stack that that dude's on. It's unbelievable.
It was like Decca Windstroll. There's like two others the
top of the top, gas like whatever you want, Like
he went full diesel. He wasn't going at eighty seven.
(36:03):
It's some you know, half liquor store, half gas station
in the the middle of nowhere. He went straight diesel and
then tried to light everybody and say, well, no, it's
because I was eating liver the entire time. Come on, dude,
But you know what, is he a professional athlete? Like
why lie? You know what I mean? Like, why lie? Yeah?
This is you know, I think it's more because he
(36:23):
was false you know, falsely advertising he was all natural. Yeah,
but why even falsely advertise the bear stuff? Like yes,
Like did you look at him LaVar and go, yeah,
that guy's all naturally didn't liver? Um, no, he did,
but he did have the prehistoric cave man look to
it go for certain So you guys ever, eating liver
(36:45):
is a good never had a chi It's actually pretty good.
I heard it's like really high in nutrients, Like it's
actually pretty good for you. But I've never thought, you know,
I wanted a liver if I recall correctly, A kind
of taste like those like brown things you put into
your soup and stuff like that, like oyster crackers. Chicken
(37:07):
is that what they call? You know? They're liking like
they come in you can shake them out and they're
like little brown cubes and stuff like that. What are
you throwing dice? You are you talking about? Never? I
think he's talking about chicken boullion? What is probably right?
Chicken boyon? What is chicken boys? Isn't it like it's
condensed like chicken broth made into cubes? Oh? I remember those? Yeah? Okay,
(37:30):
I remember my mom used to put those in Remember those?
Let's go live to aur I have an update on
those cube chicken things. That going super inside Brandon true
for the latest? Literally just MSG like straight MSG. What
is It's like a bad salt? Right? It's what? It's
(37:52):
what a lot of resting, you guys do not ask California,
is what m s G is gluten it. They will
tell you. They will tell you exactly what's in that.
Okay that yeah, yeah, all right, what else do you
got to say? Al Right, guys, um listen. Kevin Durant
of the Brooklyn Nets he needed to clear the air
(38:13):
after slamming Aaron Judge resigning with the Yankees. In case
you missed this, this is what Durant said before he
had to clear the air. What's your reaction to Aaron
Judges contract and him getting that I'm a national saying
I really don't care about Aaron Judge at all. Okay, Like,
why did he have to clear in the air? He's
(38:34):
busting balls who like anything? He watched the press conference.
He was laughing as he was saying it wasn't even
that big of a deal. But again, you just he
got a got a issue, an apology, you got it.
It's like, you know something, what's what we're all saying that, Well,
it's just you know, I mean, now, there's the other
examples of people who fire off a bunch of stuff
(38:54):
on social media. I don't know if you saw Michael
Parsons got some peoples, Yes he did, well, you know
what's crazy to me though, by the way, about that
specific topic is it's just his opinion. It's how he
feels about something. He decided to state it publicly. Some
people liked it, some people hated it. I was kind
of like, okay, interesting, But my whole thought with it
(39:16):
was then you have all these Twitter experts who come
out and they're like, what do you even know what
we're talking about? Do you even know who the man?
It's still there is? Was do you even know? Like
I'm like, oh my god, Like, this is the problem
with Twitter, and it's always gonna be. The problem with
Twitter is there's people out there who feel like they
are an expert in a bunch of different stuff and
(39:37):
they want to go out and spew whatever and then
judge people for them having an opinion. It's just like,
let it be, man, just let it be. You know what.
The ridiculous part about all this is if Mica Parsons
wins Defensive Player of the Year, and there's some people
that are arguing for Nick bos and it's it's a
fun argument because he's had a great year. But if MIKEA.
Parsons wins defensively somebody's gonna look bad on it and
(40:00):
and take a shot and say, wow, maybe maybe he
can go thank Donald Trumper. Maybe he can go like
you know, people are gonna hold this in their back
pocket and pull it out. I can't what if what
if he doesn't win it? It'd be great. It's the
reason why I didn't win it. That'd be great. By
the way, is he he's a defensive Player of the Year.
Correct over Nick Bosa. I don't know post is catching
(40:23):
up man, especially now without a starting quarterback, although if
he carries that team, I'm biased, so I won't even
comment on it. I mean, listen, Stick City is a place,
a pace. Yeah, places in Dallas Fort Worth. Yeah. Yeah,
it's in State College. It's in your heart, you know,
(40:47):
because it's in the heart. Yeah, it's a great point.
What else we got, Sam? Yeah? That what we got? Well,
I think we all missed this. But in case you
missed it, Um, you know, Kanye West totally rational of
Allen's human being. Uh he was when he was on
with Alex Jones on that television program on the Internet. Uh,
we somehow missed the fact that he Uh Kanye said
(41:10):
that Tom Brady and Kim Kardashian should be together in
the future. He was talking about Kim Kay said, marry
somebody great, Go marry Tom Brady, whatever you want to do,
but get married and use your platform as an influence
to keep families together. Don't let the devil use you.
I mean, I don't think what what do you Why
(41:30):
do you say that? Why wouldn't he? I don't know.
It's a hunch. What do you like? What do you?
But what do you mean by that? Like? What about
Tom Brady? And he's a good looking guys that she'll
chew you up here she comes, He's gonna Mandy Eater.
