Speaker 1 (00:00):

Sports Radio. Oh yeah, yeah, bad kicking ass, Two Pros

(00:44):
and a Cup of Joe, Fox Sports Radio. Yeah, a
little corn see and learn something new every day. By
the way, you want to know another metal band from
your neck of the woods, Cleveland. It's named Camara. Look
that up like Alvin Camara, but Camarah. Look that that
little little metal band for the for our friends in
the six one four That Cleveland's not the six one four. Yeah,

(01:06):
well I knew that. It was just testing you. So
we're doing here. How about how about good Charlotte three
oh one or seven oh three. Good Charlotte that stinks, No,
they don't. Good Charlotte. Charlotte is good. It's I mean
the four four oh two and six that that's what
I'm familiar with. But yeah, yeah, Cleveland, listen, keep up

(01:27):
that good Charlotte four oh four that's Atlanta, right, yeah,
four four oh. But for you yeah, I mean if
you just swapped him seven zero three oh, if you're Akron,
you know, I hear you, man, So you're back home
right now? Yeah, that wasn't hell Yeah. But Jonas always
claims he's got all the uh you know, intel from

(01:48):
from back in the Midwest. Yeah, of course, Midwest guy
through and through. I don't know any other area co
for western p A p A one four one seven
to four four one too. Yeah, I don't know if
there's any other one. Although at North Hills when you
were playing, they called it nine one one. Hey, no,

(02:11):
it was nine and I would eventually be eleven. So
there you go. Now, what happens that dog is tearing
that Brady? Have you seen that? By the way, the
video that's going around, there was a high speed chase
and guy disappeared into some strip mall and there was
another guy walking by, and the canine dog attacked the

(02:34):
wrong guy through the wrong place at the wrong time.
I just minded his own business walking away. I guess
when it's all sit and done. Though, it was the
right place at the right time. Yeah, like it's looking around,
he's looking at what's going on here? Is that the
cowardly lion? Is that the coward lions? Um? It is

(02:57):
two pros and coward barking? You ain't know that, did you?
On a fox board? That's a cowardly lion? Remember he
came out. You're lying, bro like, barking like a dog.
I'm sorry, all right, So we're broadcasting a live from
the tirac dot com studios. Tirac dot com will help

(03:18):
you get there and unmatched selection, fast free shipping, free
road has a protection and over ten thousand recommended installers.
Tirac dot com the way tire buying should be. I'm
the king. What's wrong with you? Though? That dog was
jacking up chewing them up. Wouldn't be my dog right now?

(03:43):
Thanks for bringing it up, all right? So we do
have a we've got a major. We got a major,
so I don't care. We got a major update in
the NFL. For those of you that were wondering, how's
Zack Wilson doing at practice? Apparently he's doing really well

(04:05):
because he is now second string for the New York's
all right, second back up, and he's suiting up for
this weekend's game against the Lions. Speaking of Lions, he's
suiting up for this weekend's game. Now do you want
to hear uh Robert Sala explain the growth and development
of Zach Wilson to the last couple of weeks at
practice November and into December. Here was the Jets head coach.

(04:29):
He's been deliberate in his approach over the last three weeks. Um,
he's been holding himself accountable with regards to how he
wants to attack practice. Uh, how he's been performing in practice,
going against our defense, which I think is a pretty
good defensive goal against, and uh and working on all
the different things that we've been asking him to accomplish.

(04:50):
I'm getting on the field again, or does my cap
get hurt? Um? Yeah, I'm still I'm still in that
same mindset, guess with with regards to Zach, He's uh,
he's a very talented young man, very talented young man,
and uh, Um, we're in the business of developing guys.
And so obviously I've said it before, this is Mike
White's opportunity, and he's attacking the heck out of the

(05:10):
opportunity and he's doing a great job with it. But
at the same time, we've still got to make sure
that we're doing everything we can to develop Zack and
the way we know to a spot where we know
he's capable of getting to him. All right, So I
gotta ask you as a question what happened in practice
that led to Zack Wilson climbing up the depth chart
in New York and now being the backup to Mike

(05:31):
White after being inactive the last three years. You see
the way Joe Flacco play when he came in, He's
kind of a tough spot that he was put in
Buffalo was teeing off on them and kind of kind
of interesting that he would use attack as as the
word to explain what Mike White was doing with his opportunity,
because that's exactly what happened to him in that game.

(05:52):
He got attacked. Yeah, he looked like a fish shrounded
by sharks. Su I looked at him. I mean when
he was now he was in a fee position like like,
it's very few times a guy gets hard hit hard
enough where they hit the ground and they go straight.
You know, when you're in your most payingful state, you
know what what position you go into? Fetal position? Yeah,

(06:13):
and he was in it. So I hate hearing that clip.
I hate the whole thing. I've told you guys since
week one, or since that week one, whenever this started,
that you needed to play the kid. He's he's not
gonna grow up. He's not gonna mature through practice. There's
nothing he's done during practice that has changed anything. Alright,
Like bottom line, I just this whole thing is so

(06:38):
tough to listen to because you feel like he's just
coddling him. He's just coddling him to try to be
the guy they're hoping he Come on, dude, like your
whole locker room loves your starter, and you gotta keep
answering questions because you moved in the number two spot.
You know, by the way, you could have had him
be at number two the entire time where he was

(07:00):
uote unquote bench. You could have still had him be
number two and still gotten better in practice and all
that stuff. Like that's the thing that doesn't make sense
about it. What was the point just giving him what
a mental break? I mean, I've heard reports of people
behind the scenes said, oh, he's got the mental yips,
Oh the mental yips. What is that he's having a

(07:21):
hard time, you know, diagnosing coverage or defenses? Is that?
Is that what you're trying to say? We struggled as
a rookie, And if you're saying he's struggling now, like, hey,
maybe it's not the yips. Maybe he's just you know,
not gonna be ready for this when you guys need
him to be, or maybe he's not the guy like
they're so afraid to admit that. And I think it's honestly,
it has a lot to do with like Joe Douglas

(07:43):
being so afraid to admit that because he knows as
good as he has built this roster, he's still gonna
be judged based on that selection. Because now the question
will become if you're Woody Johnson, right, if you're the
owner of the Jets, Now conversation becomes, why would we
entrust you with selecting the next quarterback if the last

(08:06):
one you selected didn't work out? Or maybe that process
is gonna look a lot different this time around. That's
how those conversations go, Right, there's not too many general
managers get get multiple bites at the apple for who
their quarterback is going to be. As far as drafting,
that's just the reality of it. So you know, as

(08:28):
good as he's done, and again, he's done a phenomenal job.
I mean there to the point where they're still winning
football team thirteen games in the season. They've had offensive
line issues, they've lost, they've got young guys stepping up.
Sauce Gardner is playing as one of the best quarterbacks
in the league in fact, in terms of performance right now. Um,

(08:48):
you look at d J. Reid, you look at somebody
other player like Carl Lawson. It is the addition that
you didn't really get a year ago because of his injury.
Now now the addition that he's he's been to this team.
They're a good football team. They've got they've got a
four of the first success. So I don't get why
they're just so afraid to say, yeah, we we missed,
we messed up. And you know, I worked with Rick

(09:08):
Spielman now it obviously he was a long time general
manage from Vikings. Great dude, and I you know heard
him talking about, you know, drafting Christian Ponder and the
conversations you have kind of along the way. And and
the interesting thing is, sometimes like and I was talking
with a former head coach last night, sometimes you know
pretty quick you just you've got an idea of like, hey,

(09:29):
there's a decision made. You took this player, but maybe
that guy didn't have all the information, or he wasn't
around him enough, he was too close to it. And
you step back. And once you get through training camp,
once you get through that, you know O T S,
you know, mini camp, training camp, you start to realize like, oh,
we're stuck with this for a couple of years till
we can get through it, unless all of a sudden
something changes dramatically like this is a tough spot. Happens

(09:50):
all the time. Like that's that's where I feel like
they're at right now, and they don't want to admit it. Uh,
I'll get I'll get Washington credit for this. They will
put a quarter back in and take a quarterback out.
I just look at it like this, I get it.
When you hire an employee that is a top rated employee,
you want to get r O I on bringing that

(10:12):
that top rated employee into your into your fold. But
if if you're if you're putting them out there to
perform and their performance isn't up to par and and
it's so far off that you felt like you needed
to not only take them off the field, but de
activate that employee. Okay, maybe there are some instances where

(10:37):
you could say that would have a profound impact on
on that that employee and what their capabilities are. Maybe
they're able to take a look in the mirror and
take a step back and say, I do need to
approach this differently, Like I can. I can understand where
Slot was coming from and and in regards to that,

(10:57):
but let's just be real here. This is football all
and you're in the met of your season and the
season is on the line for you for all intensive purposes,
and you went away from him and one of the
most turbulent moments of the season instead of leaning into
him and saying, you know what, you handled this incorrectly,
but like, let's do better. Let's keep moving moving forward.

(11:20):
But let's let's do better moving forward. You know Brian
Flores yanking him out of the lineup in road games,
he was trailing the same I'm just saying, and for
what it's worth, that can have an impact on that
player where the loss of belief could be profound in

(11:41):
terms of what the results are that you get from
that person. You want to talk about, yips, have a
coach that you you believe doesn't doesn't believe in you.
That that is directly connected to what your situation is
on that team. That's that's that's bad. That's bad. And
he showed the whole entire football world or whoever is

(12:03):
paying attention, I don't trust you. That's all that comes
down to. We all know the one thing about football
that that I can tell you for certain, the relationship
between a player and a coach. Q will you ever
touch the field if that one element is missing as
a player, between a player and a coach, if that

(12:25):
coach doesn't trust you, where are you gonna be? You
gonna be on that bench? Bottom line? And he just
told everybody, and in the in the heat of the
moment and in the heart of the season, I don't
trust you. So it's kind of hard to come back
from that outside of having to deal with the growing
pains of him growing as a head coach and him

(12:47):
growing as as a quarterback in the league as a
high draft pick and what are the results going to be,
because ultimately, that's really all you have right now is
to be able to prove it through showing it. And
that might be next season, that might not even be
this season, that might be next season. But until then,
you gotta know that you're gonna you're gonna endure intense
scrutiny over what the scenario and what the situation is.

(13:09):
By the way, do we have confirmation whether or not
Mike White's ribs were broken during that game? I know
there's some speculation during the game. I don't know speculation.
I mean I I heard directly from one of the
analysts that it was they were broken. That's what I
was going with. Well, with that what yesterday the day before,
crazy recovery for him. I mean, did come back and
and still you know, be in line to start this game,

(13:30):
I mean with broken ribs, I mean, geez, shoot him up, baby,
the juice from the gods. Yeah. But like when I
when I did mind, like I just they usually did
a local anesthetics, so it was just novacain like just
like you would in your teeth or that area. They're
just they shoot you up in a couple of spots
and you feel good, and then they go on toward
all you Well, the problem was after that then it

(13:53):
was like, well, here's the dangerous part is if you
break them worse, you probably or cracked them, were tear
something tarlige all worse. Still going well, you're probably not
really gonna feel it, that's much. That's the issue. I
don't know. I just know I've had I've had to
get my toe localized. And then they gave me to

(14:15):
tord all and then I looked at everybody like rock
you ready, let's do Are you ready? I'm ready? Four
hours later like hell, don't touch me, don't like and
I'm talking pain to the like like a sheet like

(14:37):
bit sheet touches your that that pain spot. You'd be like, man,
just take my just just ended here like this, we're good.
Here the big toe, it was my big toe on
the left side, the pinky one. I feel like they
could have took it the way it felt. After that
toward all wore off and that local you know, I
pushed my my toe now all the way up into

(14:58):
my nail bit and I played with that and then
they had to remove my entire toenail. And that is
a traumatic experience this. Good morning everybody. There you go.
They had to localize the big toe, right. They took
some pliers, literally took some pliers, put it under my
toe nail, broke the toe nail, and then like took
the broken pieces and pulled it out. I was told

(15:21):
nail lists. Yeah, and when that local wore off, that
too was a very painful moment in my life as well. Yeah,
there you go. So it isn't all glitz and glamour
being a football player. I'll tell you that being an
athlete isn't always always pretty. You know. There are the
moments like an ingrown toe. Now I've never had one,

(15:42):
but I've seen one, and that s is crazy and
toail it out, no, not out. I've seen and grown
toe nails where it was like impaling their toes. Well listen,
then you need to learn how to cut your toe nails. Better,
cut them straight across, don't don't dig too who's far
into the side, and then go from there. That's wow, bro. Yeah,

(16:04):
But pushing your toenail into your toe bit it's pretty
wild too, because it was like like the nail bit
was like all this it was just building up, like
it's just all this build up and you're seeing it
like swell up in your toe bit. And when they
did that, all this stuff came out of it and
it was crazy, man to see it. It's crazy. I

(16:25):
don't know what was crazier, the pliers or the amount
of stuff that was coming out when they removed the
toenail from the toebit. He showed us a video of
that from the bus stop, like of the injury. So
I remember that all that fluid coming up out of
the area. Yeah, very good, Huh, I was missing the hand.

We now turn it over to the Great Albert Breer,
senior NFL reporter at the MMQBAT and get him on
Twitter at Albert Brier, Friend of the program. Every Thursday

(17:52):
is an Albert Brier Day. Al what's happening? How we feeling?
I'm good. I'm good about two third you. Last night,
my plane was delayed because they didn't have life fests
on board, so they had to take care of that
even though we were flying. We were flying from Dallas
to Boston, so I don't know where we would have
needed them. Well, there's some place somewhere among the way.

(18:13):
Can I ask you this, where did they go at
what point? Like? What plane? I don't lift it still works,
no idea. All I know is they made the announcement
and then they came in with like a stack of them,
like an hour and a half later. We were sitting
on the plane the whole time, and then we wait
another forty five minutes for paperwork, which apparently they couldn't

(18:35):
do while they were getting the life fest so one
big at a time, I guess. Let me let me
take a stab at this. The airline was American. That's right,
that's right, hold on, hold on before you bad mouth American,
all right on National Radio. United is still worse than America.

(18:57):
You know what I would concur Okay, I mean Americans
not as bad as you. But remember some of those
American planes are just US airplanes with a paint job. Now,
and those who those people who are old enough to
have been around when US air was there. That was
like that, That was like the sixties. Six Green Bay

(19:21):
packers of that area would have broken toe delta delta Albert,
Can I got to ask you this, Odell Beckham Junior stuff.
When is this going to be over? Didn't that Jerry
Jones just stirring it up again? When is this going
to be over? Man? What's the plan here? I mean,

(19:41):
I hope soon. It's really kind of up to him,
um and what he wants to do. And you know,
I know there were some people turned off by, um.
You know, his whole stance. The regular season doesn't matter
because you know, these teams have locker rooms full of
guys who are fighting through all kinds of different things
right now just to get their teams in the playoffs,
you know. So um, yeah, you know, I like his

(20:05):
knee has been an issue. There's no question. The first
surgery wasn't successful. Um. And you know, I think I've
said this to you guys over the last few weeks.
Nor End signed him. They thought it was a ticking
time on. They hope that you give him the finish line.
They almost made it the knee blew up in the
super Bowl. So, um, you know, I think everybody can
understand if he wants to be cautious with it, but

(20:26):
then to go through with the tour and say some
of the things he's saying, I know that's turned some
people off. So um, you know, I, I just I
think the interesting part is gonna be whether or not
Dallas or somebody else brings him in on his terms
and um does what he wants, which it sounds like
he wants another year at tacked onto the deal. Um,

(20:49):
some guaranteed money in there, and only playing the playoffs.
We'll see the backs off of that, because that seems like,
you know, a pretty heavy demand for a guy who
you know, hasn't played much football over a couple of
years well and has all the medical issues he's got.
I mean, t Y Hilton gets signed, Cole Beasley gets signed,
and that says everything, Brady, that says everything, doesn't it.

(21:11):
I mean even as Chiefs, the Chiefs one got Darius
Tony while they were still in this you know. I
I think what it tells you is these teams look
at O'Dell and it's like, oh, we love him as
a player when he's healthy, but we have no idea
if he's gonna be able to get back there by
the end of the year. So if we're even gonna
if we want to bring in a receiver as an
insurance policy, and this isn't the guy to do it with,

(21:33):
because what you get from him may just be a
bonus to whatever you're getting from everybody else. I want
to switch gears, thankfully and get off this subject to
go to the Cardinals only because with the injury now
to Kyler Murray, Uh, their season which probably had any
you know, small shot of them making the playoffs before
the injury, now is no shot. And their general manager

(21:54):
Steve Kim has checked himself in to get some additional
help for some things that he's been battling for a
wild Now where's this team at? I mean, are you
expecting some big changes this offseasons? Michael Bidwell gonna be
patient with this whole process. Everything I've heard of Brady
is that the organization's mess right now. And UM, you
know I I I have a hard time seeing what

(22:16):
there were They're gonna find real direction here without making
major changes. And Cliffs got five years loft time his contract.
Does he even want to be there anymore? After you
know the things that he's had to deal with obviously,
I mean you allude to it. The Steve Kime thing
isn't new for the people and people inside the organization,
so that's there, And um, you know, I I sort

(22:39):
of wonder if you look at the history of the
owner right like, and you look back and say, okay,
what has he done in the past and situations where
things have gone the wrong way? He's almost never cleaned house,
Like when they fired Rod Grays and Ken wasn't hunt.
They elevated Steve Kim and then they hired Bruce Arians.
Then they've had time in place for the last couple

(22:59):
of coaches, so they've never really blown the whole thing up. So,
you know, I wonder if maybe the move here for
them is to put like an Adrian Wilson in charge.
To Adrian Wilson, you know, obviously it was a great
player for the organization as well, thought of as a
leader works in the personnel department and those where all
the bodies are buried, you know, like knows everything about
the organization, and so like to me, I, you know,

(23:23):
I think there's no way. I think they're past the
point of making cosmetic changes and thinking that there's going
to be some sort of magical lecture that they're gonna
find it's gonna fix everything that's gone wrong in the building.
Um So I've said this, you guys over the last
I think month or so that like Michael Bidwell's history

(23:46):
isn't to eat people's contracts and right checks and you know,
like just keep turning the organization over completely. But I
think what's going on there right now, um, you know,
certainly Monday night, the kid thing, the Kyler thing, even
Kyler before the injury, I think it certainly begs for major,

(24:07):
major change change. Let's let's switch to to Baltimore. Um,
what's what's the latest with what's going on with Lamar? Like,
what are what are the feelings in in Baltimore right now?
You be well, I think Tyler how it's gonna start
on Saturday night, and I think they're, um, Saturday afternoon,

(24:30):
I think they're they're feeling right now is let's just
get into the tournament. And if we can get into
the tournament and we can get we can get Lamar healthy,
We've got a shot. Um. Now beyond that, like you know,
I obviously there's the bigger box question of what do
you do about Lamar and its contract? Certainly I think

(24:51):
that they're going to franchise him, and you know, I
the Ravens have been fairly steadfast and in saying we're
not giving him a full, a guaranteed contract. And if
you guys remember a few months ago, it's really boiled
down to a staring contest between player and team. The
team was willing to pay him, but they wanted to
give him a conventional quarterback contract, and he wanted a

(25:13):
sort of groundbreaking deal that Deshaun Watson got in Cleveland,
and so um. Will the injury changed Lamar's outlook on
all of this, I don't know. Will the with the
Ravens consider trading him if someone comes along with a
godfather offer and is willing to do what Cleveland did
and attaching to that godfather offer a fully guaranteed contract.

(25:36):
I mean, if Lamar gets wind of something like that,
he doesn't have the exclusive tag on him. Uh, you know,
I guess anything is possible, But I still think the
goal for everybody but now there is to have a
healthy Lamar Jackson in the playoffs and then work out
a long term extension after the year. Uh. You know,
I think we've seen over the last six or seven
months how complicated that can get. Albert Brier joining a

(26:00):
here on Fox Sports Rade. You can get him on
Twitter at Albert Brier senior NFL reporter at the mm
QB Albert. Uh. Come this time next year, where Sean Payton? Um?
I mean, I think you'd like to be on the
West coast. I know a lot of people speculated on
the Chargers. Um. Yeah. I think Brandon Stokely has got

(26:20):
a lot on the line over the last four weeks
of the year. UM. And I think a big piece
of that is trying to maximize what they have in
Justin Herbert. Um. They have them under a rookie contracts still,
but either this offseason or next offseason, they're gonna have
to pay him. And once you pay a guy, the
dynamic changes a little bit. Um. And so you know,

(26:41):
I I think part of the deal with Sean Payton
shorts highs to what's gonna happen with the Chargers in
Los Angeles and whether or not Brandon Stokely can do
enough to convince the Spanos is not to engage with Peyton.
You know, outside of the Chargers, if the Broncos were
to make a change, I think they probably make a
run at him. I don't know if you want to
work with Russell Wilson, obviously the same thing has been

(27:04):
putting out there for a couple of weeks. What do
you consider that? UM? I really think with Sean the
two things are gonna be geography and quarterback. And I
know he likes living in Los Angeles. He's living there now, UM,
and the idea of being the West Coast appeal to him.
And you know, obviously that makes the Charger is the
easiest destination when you're when you're looking at potential suitors.

(27:28):
I would not rule out the idea that he considered
another year because I do think he's enjoying what he's
doing right now, and unless the situation is perfect for him,
I could see now I think he's gonna coach again.
I don't think he's done for good, but you know,
unless there's a perfect situation out there, I could see
him continuing to live a pretty comfortable life for another year. Albert,

(27:51):
I want to ask about the cold situation there and
just Jeff Saturday. I mean, obviously after that first win
and nothing's really been uphill since, do you get the
the idea that maybe there's a chance that Jim rcay
is going to open this thing up to a wider
coaching search. I mean, that's at least how I felt
when I heard the news of them poking around Jim
Harbaugh when he was in town for the Big Ten
Championship game. Or do you feel like it's Jeff Saturday's

(28:13):
job if he wants it? Yeah, you know, Brady, I
think this is going to become about whether or not
he canna sell it to his fan base. Um, you know,
I think he wants to do it, you know, I
think I think he wants to do it, and he
wants to build a strong staff around Jeff Saturday, and
he wants to get the quarterback position finally settled one
way or the other, which was I think kind of

(28:35):
hanging over everything with Frank reich Um at the end,
and it's been hanging over some of the decision making
they've made over the last few months. Um, you know,
I think if they collapse down the stretch, it becomes harder.
And remember they do have to open this up, you know,
because of the Runey rule. They have to run like
a full and thorough process, or at least give the
appearance of it. So, you know, I think if it's

(28:57):
not Saturday, then I think for her say, it's about
not being able to sell Jeff Saturday to that fan base.
And that's where I think the idea of Jim Harbaugh
comes in, because he's somebody you can sell the fan base,
because his name's up in the Ring of Honor, and
because you know, he obviously has a lot of cache
in that organization. And you know, weird as the end

(29:21):
was for Jim Harbon and San Francisco get a hell
of a record there. He's forty four and nineteen. There
are very few coaches who have the winning percentage that
he had as an NFL head coach. So I think
this is one of those where like Mercy really likes
the idea of being the guy who found Jeff Saturday
and the guy who did something a little bit different,
the guy who innovated UM. But you know, this is

(29:44):
gonna be about whether or not he can continue to
sell Jeff Saturday UM to his fan base, to his
locker room, to the people in his organization, and I
think the next four weeks and then to determine whether
or not he can go forward with that ab My
last question for you, and and you're speaking on er
say it came out, the report came out that he's
not ready to say ousting Dan Snyder as the owner

(30:09):
of the team. What what are the latest developments with
with all of that, because it seems like it gets quiet,
then it flares back up, and then it gets quiet
again and then it flares back up. Sounds like a
pattern forming here? What what what's the latest on it? Yeah?
I mean they're all sort of undertag order, is what
it is. You know, the commissioner told them, after her

(30:31):
say um, after her say um. Sebody said in October
at that meeting in New York, um, you know Goodell
basically like said to the owners, trust us. We're gonna
make sure we get to the right result here. Trust
Mary Joe White's investigation, and trust that like one way
or the other, we're going to find the right way

(30:55):
to get closure on this entire thing. And I think
the other owners trust out. I still don't trust Snyder,
and so Bank of America has started the process of um,
you know, sending uh, sending stuff out to potential bidders,
confidential information on the organization. And the one thing that

(31:17):
I sort of came across LaVar um when I was
in Dallas with the owners meeting this week. There are
some people who still think that um that that Snyder
is gonna play lucy and pull the football away from
from everybody at the very end and keep the team
and and and stet a instead of price that's like

(31:38):
way too high, that nobody's gonna match and that magic number.
You hear the number a lot of seven billion, which
sounds like an interesting number, and maybe they could get there.
Here's the problem if you're a bidder, right, that's one
of the lowest revenue organizations in the league. So if
you buy the team, you've got to fix that, right,

(32:00):
And then you've probably got to invest another couple of
billion in building a stadium. So while the franchise might
eventually be worth that, and that might eventually look like
a good price, it's gonna take billions and billions of
dollars of investments on top of the price you pay
for the team to get the organization right. And so
Snyder says seven billion or bust. And you know that

(32:24):
Ishpia is the Josh Harris is, maybe the Jeff Bezos is,
although I think some people think that Bezos is sort
of just a stocking horse here. Um might look at
that and say, yeah, the organization may be worth that.
In the end, but I can't pay that if I'm
gonna have to invest way more into it to fix

(32:44):
that the mess you created. So I'm out. Um, It's
gonna be really interesting to see what happens, because I
think after we get past the first of the year,
the thing starts to heat up, and then you know,
we figure out what the asking price is, and you know,
maybe then we see how motivated to sell her Snyder
really is. Oh my god, I get him on Twitter
at our career Senior NFL Report at the m m QB. Obviously,

(33:06):
we've got a couple of weeks left to the big game, Albert,
So I'm not even gonna try and you know, throw
a random number at you, like whether or not Ohio
State and Georgia are going to score more than sixty
two and a half points. I'm not gonna do that
to you here. I would never do that. It doesn't
make any sense whatsoever. We'll just try to keep it
competitive about that. Yeah, listen, just do what you can
do you have any faith? Come on, Albert, Come on, Albert.

(33:26):
I'm just I mean, Brady, I feel like you gotta
take kind of a little profile, now, you know what
I mean. Wow, Hey, the goal is to get to
the playoff, you know, I mean you're there. Hold on,
you don't want to try to have a rematch versus Michigan.
Oh I do, no, no, no, I do, I do,
I do. I'm just gonna kinda keep a low profile,
you know. I mean, wouldn't you totally redeem yourself if

(33:48):
you did? Yeah? No, no, no no. I mean, like,
you know, some people planning flags and thought they wouldn't
have the answer for it for a year, and maybe
you could plan a flag an artificial turf field. Thought
it's snuck up out of there. That venom snuck up
out of there. I heard it. I heard it. Yeah,
I hope they rematch. That's your dead, Albert. We appreciate it.

(34:11):

(36:00):
we can talk about how would Discover you can redeem
your rewards or cash in any amount at any time.
I mean talk about amazing learn more discover dot com
slash redeem rewards terms apply. So we had a couple
more players who decided they're gonna go ahead and skip
their upcoming bowl game. Jalen Hyatt, who is the Tennessee
Volunteers leading wide receiver, Brady Quinn. I mean, you're part
of the Orange Bowl. Apparently he's not gonna be there.

(36:22):
Now that's a wrap on his season. Well, it's tough. Look,
he's the bullet Nikoff winner. I don't think he feels
like he has anything more to prove um and it's
obviously disappointing for what is a major bowl game. Now,
it's not a part of the playoffs. This year, it
will be a part of the quarterfinals, the semifinals, and
actually hosting the national championship in six But uh, I

(36:44):
guess the greater point is it's kind of more of
the norm. And I've said it and I'll say it again.
You know, these young men now have have aspirations to
play in the NFL. They don't want an injury to
derail that. There's always a chance of that when you
go out in the football field. Um, you know, honestly
similar to anything else. But uh, a lot of these
guys that they are talking to them are convincing them

(37:04):
that they don't need to play in these games. So
it's a tough pill to swallow. But uh, it also
is understandable, I think for people who have been in
those players shoes before, and so I'm not going to
criticize it. I think there's other players who've opted out
of games that it's a it's a little more difficult
to kind of understand. But again that's that's another story.
And then Trevion Henderson's the other one Ohio State running back.

(37:27):
He's been a little banged up, but he's missing like
three of the last four games and he's going to
be out for their semifinal. Kind of different than Jackson
Smith and Jake ba I would say the money propositions
are much different now though, Like I would be curious
as to what what they're being offered and what what's
there for them in opting out and basically saying like

(37:50):
I'm not I'm not risking any type of injuries because
they're already they're already set up, you know. I would
be interested to see what that would be when the
playoffs expe and and now you're playing a couple more
games and all of a sudden, you're the twelfth team
in the country and you've got a shot to win
and go to the College Football Playoff or go to

(38:10):
the Final four rather and actually maybe compete for a
national championship. That's where I want to see where these
conversations which one is more valuable the money, the proposition
of the money, or the legacy. See, for me, it
was always legacy. If if if the money comes, the
money comes, because you've built a strong legacy. Like That's
how I always looked at it. I mean, I was

(38:32):
I was slated to be a top ten pick. I was.
I was a top prospect coming out. I thought nothing
about playing in in the UH like I would have
had it no other way to play in the Alamo Bowl.
It wasn't even a New Year's Day Bowl, it wasn't
even a big Bowl. But I wanted to have another
opportunity to play with my teammates, play another game as
a Penn State, or if I was going to decide
to leave. So I think it's weighing money versus weighing

(38:56):
weighing legacy, I think is what it comes down to. Ian.
It's part of that. I mean again, triguerment. Henderson's injury
has been one that snagged them all year. It's I
believe a foot injury, one that you know, probably needs
a little more time. And outside of something obvious like
an injury, of course. Yeah, and and all these transfer
and taking place, there's no loyalty to the universities anymore anyway, No,
there's not. So that's that's another piece of the equations.

(39:17):
Even when the transfer portal opens and during all these
bull games, it makes it more difficult. It's two pros
