yesterday was the National early Signing Day. I mean just
clearly normal behavior right, normal activity is the same old
signing day as always. Just hey, we'd love to have you.
It's for the love of the program and nothing more.
Think we're all we're all good on that, huh, I mean,

(01:25):
it's I mean, the funny thing is is everyone seems
to make now that n I L is around a
big deal about these kids flipping to go to other schools.
The truth of the matter, and lamar, you can speak
to this. They've always done this. There's always been some
form of enticement or inducement that's led kids to flip

(01:49):
the day of when they're making this decision. And now
the difference is people just assume it's it's n i L.
But the reality is based on the n c A rules,
you're not supposed to be able to do that. And
so let's just say there was a you know, potential
five star student athlete who has committed one place and

(02:10):
flips somewhere else, Well, if he's doing so for money,
it's not supposed to be allowed. But the but so
that's that's what the rules are. But the reality is
it's always happened. We now n I L. People think
like they just they pour into that thinking, oh, it's
all about n I L. It's not about and it's
about money, all right, that's what it's about. If it's
about n I L. If you'd look at a decision

(02:30):
for a guy like Dante Moore, who was a highly
touted quarterback, had looked a number of places um and
he ended up choosing a school in u c l
A that doesn't have as big as a as as
funds at least in n I L from what everyone thinks.
But you're in about big market. You're in the number
two market in the country as far as what you
can you know, make from a marketing perspective, and so

(02:53):
maybe that has value to you as you build your
brand and move forward. So that's an impact of n
I L. It's just a different way of looking at it.
It's not an immediate cash payout like has what has
always been the case even before n I L existed.
I mean, LaVar am I wrong? No, you're not wrong.
You're not wrong. Um, I just think the n I
L has signed to light. And now you've seen all

(03:16):
of the rodents and and and roaches, you know, running
running around, running rampant, you know, in and out and
through walls, and you know they were here. Yeah yeah, yeah, yeah,
you can see them. So yeah. I mean I was
at signing to day yesterday actually at my school and
it was it was funny. We had, you know, a

(03:36):
kid and he's one of my favorites. Uh he flipped
and you know, I don't get into asking any questions
because I don't want to know, uh you know. Um so,
but I have started to really really truly educate myself out,
you know. I actually, you know Randy Taylor from National
preps Um, somebody I've been working with, and yeah, man,

(03:57):
and he's he's uh, he's been educating and and you know,
just on how all of this stuff starts to work
and and the whole idea of you know, it's funny
if you start paying attention to the small details of
how things have changed, just to the even to the
point of Twitter was where coaches were going crazy. They

(04:19):
go crazy after going for kids and communicating with kids.
But if you start looking at teams and and their
coaches Twitter handles and stuff. Now you can't message them.
It's the funniest thing they have now been. They've now
started to disable being able to message, so they can
hit you up, but you can't hit them up. And
then I started trying to figure out what's you know,

(04:41):
what's the science behind everything that's going on. You would
have thought that they wanted an open door policy to
be able to look at, you know, recruits and different
things like that, and they're basically saying, listen, there has
now a way of recruiting has now established itself. It's
first Power five, your your first Now let's and on

(05:01):
this this level, in this tier, you're actually recruiting your
own kids. Recruiting now where the evolution of it now,
it does not stop. You have got to retain your talent.
So now you've got to recruit your campus. Then you're
recruiting other other Power five schools. And then now it

(05:22):
goes down to SCS. So now you're recruiting SCS schools
for for talent there because now the idea of you
have more developed talent, proven talent, We're gonna go get
this guy. We're gonna pull him in. And then if
you're if you're a four or five star athlete, you
fall on actually tier two. If you're a real good,

(05:44):
good four or five star, you're on Tier one with
with the Power fives, and then on the next the
next tier, the third tier is juco's and high school kids.
And what's crazy is you're getting all the way down
to tier three and get there's like two, one, three,
like at best, like four scholarships that are left. So

(06:07):
all these high school kids are fighting for like literally
like two or three scholarships to these schools if they're
successful in tier one or tier two. And that's and
so now you have this crazy ass surplus. There were
a ton of kids at that early signing yesterday that

(06:27):
should be kids that are signing to colleges at least
FCS schools. Um doesn't necessarily mean Power five, but they're
not getting they're not getting the ability to and and
and what's crazy is SCS has started to do the
same exact things. So now their tear is is JUCO
and and now they're able to get four star and

(06:49):
three star athletes. There are better football players going to
FCS schools than to Power five schools. Just based off
of the tears and approach to rooting right now. So
it's it's pretty crazy the way this is all unfolded.
I won't go that far and saying that. I'll say this,
like what what's happened? And it's not a byproduct of

(07:12):
n I L. Like I think everyone thinks that n
i L has changed the game of college football, it
has not. It's the portals like that, the unlimited ability
to transfer in the portal, combined with n i L
being able to profit off your name, image and likeness
has now opened the door for what you're talking about,

(07:32):
where you have coaches who are tampering and at this
current juncture, right we don't have we don't have a
federal law. So n i L law is different state
by state. So again, if you're a kid in California,
not only could you get paid when you're in high
school for your name, image and likeness, you can get
paid also by those universities and actually the universities can

(07:54):
be involved with the collectives and so forth. And it
all depends on the interpretation of that state law. There's
some states that don't have it I a law, not
even for colleges. Let alone high school. So it's it's
a completely different system in one state to the other,
for one recruit to the other, for one school to
the other, and so it creates this unlevel playing field.
So if you create federal law that levels the playing

(08:15):
field to a degree, at least allows everyone to kind
of operate under the same you know, group of laws,
if you will. But then the problem comes in is
who's actually gonna enforce that right, Like we have speeding laws.
Are we always enforcing when someone goes over the speed limit?
Of course not. It's actually probably pretty rare that someone
gets caught for going five ten speed limit. So just

(08:39):
because we have a federal law, it may mean that, hey,
look we've got this law. Everyone's gonna by by now. Otherwise,
if you break in and get caught, you're gonna suffer
the penalties of it, like you'll be breaking a law.
Who knows what will exactly come with that, But at
least you've got some sort of recourse in the event that,
you know, you do end up messing up or getting

(09:01):
caught or breaking a rule. So that's a step in
the right direction. The problem is, even if they create
federal law around this, then you take the next step too, Well,
there's gonna be lawsuits because there's gonna be people who
challenge whatever that law is, and they're gonna help shape
that law. Even after Congress is able to shape that
law through a bipartisan bill, right both you know, the Senate,

(09:24):
the House. We've got both parties to coming to an agreement,
everyone trying to figure out how they want to make
this this law. It will then be further shaped by
all the lawsuits that challenge that law once it goes
into place. So we are such a long ways away
from being able to look at the federal government say,
come save how everything is operating in college football like

(09:45):
were We're not anywhere close to that. And the other
issue is the n c A doesn't really want to
touch it. They just had to do President, but they
don't really want to touch this issue because he doesn't
make them a ton of money. It's more college basketball
and be they don't want to get stude. They've already
lost in court the All Stint case. They lost the
Supreme Court nine. Oh, they ruled in favor uh no,

(10:08):
not in favor of the n c A. So they
don't want to have to touch anything again. Because they
don't really have much of a president or grounds to
stand on, and so you kind of look at, well,
what's gonna help shape this moving forward? Right now? No
one like we're we're walking into a world in college
football with the way it's being operated, it's a quasi
professional league in some ways, but we don't want to

(10:29):
call the student athletes that. And then we've got the
universities and these conferences trying to figure out how they
want to formulate to create essentially what's best for them
moving forward. But no one's ultimately trying to help out
a student athletes. So it's it's my hope that's somehow,
some way, either from the private sector or even from
the national labor you know, union board, like maybe they

(10:51):
come in and help these players unionized to some degree
so they do have more bargaining power and that can
help kind of shape what this looks like moving forward.
Because now to go on this long winded tangent of
like how does this apply to what happened yesterday? There
are so many things that are happening that it's all
up in the air that you know a lot of
people aren't unaware of, but they're going on because of

(11:12):
the lack of any sort of governance right now. Let me,
I don't have it. We don't have anyone overseeing this
right now. Let me ask you guys this alright as
somebody of Now, I've never been recruited for anything in
my life nothing, And I know what you're saying. Well,
you were clearly recruited to be the rabbit check e chiefs. No, no, no.
I walked in and I was I was a walk
onto the job. But you guys going through this process
years ago, being top tier recruits, going to power the

(11:36):
house programs and and man being successful college football players, coaching,
analyst work, still involved in the game and all of this,
Where does this land with you? Just the way things
are changed right now? Well, I'd say this, though, I
think anyone who's gonna judge a kid for flipping for

(11:57):
a bag, like, come on, man, like you're not in
his shoes. You don't know what that kid's dealing with,
that the parents are dealing with, you know. And by
the way, it might not pan out like that that
that player and we've seen it constantly, plenty plenty of
five star guys don't pan out. I can't tell you
how many quarterbacks were ahead of me in the high
school rankings that really need up never ended up having

(12:18):
much of a college career, and they didn't end up
really going to the NFL. So, like we forget that's
such a small percentage chance, why you judge them? You
do the same thing. If you have the opportunity to
profit off your name, hims and likeness and find some
school it's going to pay you and it doesn't work out,
that might be the most money you ever make in
a single year or over a four year period. So
so I think I feel like that's the one thing

(12:40):
that gets a little nasty with some of this is,
you know, you can't judge someone for making that decision
when if you were in their shoes, you might do
the same exact thing. So, you know, as unfortunate as
it is, I think for you know, having a seventeen
eighteen year old along with their parents who are forced
to make this sort of decision, you know, LaVar, you
call scary. I just I think it's a difficult path.

(13:03):
I mean, it's not like these recruits, these parents have
really dealt with this for that long. You know, a
lot of what's happening right now maybe it's happened under
the table to some degree always in the past, but
not as rampant as it is now. And I think
that makes the decision that much more difficult for the
parties involved, especially depending on what the background is of
some of these people. You know, if they're if they're

(13:25):
well off or they've got some money and they're not
as concerned about it, the priority priorities are probably different.
But if they're looking at and saying, hey, i've got
a five dollar paid day, I've got a million dollar payday,
look at me, you know, dead in the eyes, I'm
gonna take the opportunity to do that. Like I think
we all can understand that, right, I say scary from
from the standpoint in the perspective of we see guys

(13:47):
go off the cliff in terms of their careers coming
out of college. There's always been a natural kind of
flow to a career. You can play youth, you can
play high cool. But some people from youth get weeded
out of high school you know ball, they don't play
high school ball. Then you get high school guys, they
get weeded out going to college to play college ball.

(14:10):
And then the vast majority of people who you know,
go into college, they they weed out, you know of football,
going into the pros, and they have to figure something
else out to do. Whereas now that's going to continue on.
But people are going to stay in school longer because

(14:31):
of the opportunities that exist there. And it doesn't have
to be I think people are so focused in on
the high dollar amounts that people are are getting, but
you're you're not You're not seeing the small amounts that
are actually enough of a significant factor. And if a
guy is going to stay or or leave, and so

(14:54):
now that natural, that natural moving on. This group of
of seniors, they're moving on. You have X amount of
scholarships that come back into the school, this amount of juniors,
some of them are moving on, some of them are
transferring data dot. So the natural effect. It's almost like
if you're comparing it to like wild boars or to

(15:15):
to dare right, you gotta have deer season because you
gotta you gotta keep the population down and and so
you're allowed to go out in the hunt. Right, it's
kind of the same thing. You're gonna get over college
football is getting overpopulated. Is that's what's taking place right
now now COVID had something to do with that as well.
But this transfer portal and and what the opportunities that

(15:39):
are coming out of this transfer portal, and mix that
in with what's going on with the ability to be
able to pay athletes now, it is creating a a
long jam of sorts at the college level. And it's
it's it's pretty scary. It's scary because you don't have
the natural flow from college to pro from high schoo

(16:00):
coool to college. It's not a natural flow anymore. It's
very very it's it's very very very different in I
mean even big schools, even big schools are not getting
in You might have got your kids into Major Division
one or you know FCS schools, Power five schools, uh

(16:20):
St John Bosco a modern day, they are not. You're
not getting kids into schools on scholarships now. And and
that's I think that's scary because you could do everything
the right way as a prep and it's still not
pay out the way that you would have hoped for
it to pan out. And I saw like ten kids
yesterday that had that same that same story playing out

(16:42):
for them. They would have easily been scholarship offered. Kids
going to a maybe a smaller school, but but they
would have been a scholarship offered school kid nonetheless, and
they're not getting those opportunities anymore. So now you have
kids just sitting around and and here's why, I'll tell
you why. That's part partially an issue. Right now, the
the n c A has the window wrong for the

(17:02):
transfer portal, and unfortunately, because of the schedule of season,
there's not much they can do about it. Right, So,
you've got this early signing period now, which has become
basically the norm for for signing periods in high school
football players looking to go to college. A lot of
the best players a lot of the guys they prepared
themselves now to enroll earlier, to make that decision and
sign their national letter of tent early, in part because

(17:24):
of the competitiveness for scholarships like LaVar is talking about.
But here's the issue. What comes after this, You have
a transfer portal window that opens, and so now teams
and players are able to go find new destinations in spots.
So if you're a team, you know, if you're a
college program, you've got to keep some of those spots available,
those scholarships available for those transfer portal players and if

(17:45):
you're a if you're a player obviously, I mean if
you're you know, waiting for a scholarship or something like that,
you know there there might be some guys who are
fringe guys and they don't get that offer opportunity because
you know, a team wants to look at either the
early signing period see if they get an I, or
they want to look at the transfer portal, and then
your third on their list of priorities. If you look
at how the NFL has a set up, it's a

(18:06):
much better structure. After the season, you have the Super Bowl,
that's great. Then what do you have coming in March
the beginning of the new league year and that starts
free agency, which was essentially what the transfer portal is,
and then comes to the NFL Draft. So whatever you
don't address as your most immediate needs, which is that's
what you're looking for in the transfer portal. You're looking
for kids who've played in college football, who already have experience,

(18:28):
they've already demonstrated that they can play at that level
to come in and fix where you either didn't recruit,
didn't develop, or just fly out on how to kid
leave or whatever the case may be, you're looking to
find that piece there in the transfer portal. The problems is,
you know, the the order is messed up. It really
should be the national signing period, early signing period after
that portal window. But the problem is you have this

(18:50):
portal window that has to be somewhere around after the season,
after the bulls, Otherwise you have this mass excess of
rosters that only have thirty five four fifties scholarship players.
So it's it's it's the timing of all and how
they implemented it. And again I keep going back to
the fact that they just don't have a strong they
don't have strong leadership and a strong overseeing body to

(19:12):
help FOI relate some of this stuff and how it
should really operate work. Yeah, And I mean timing is everything.

on the show, we're going to have a discussion about
a first in the NFL. A first in the NFL
in the league, you've seen plenty of all sorts of
scenarios and situations, You've never seen this one before, and
it's taking place this weekend. We'll tell you what that
is right here on Fox Sports Radio. Be sure to

(19:54):
catch live editions of Two Pros and a Cup of
Joe with Brady Quinn, LaVar Arrington and on Us Knocks
week days at six am easting, three am Pacific on
Fox Sports Radio and the I Heart Radio. Uh huh,
let it rain, Let it rain, Let it rain. It's

(20:15):
gonna snow this weekend. Lots of places the weather is
miserable in the NFL this weekend, like all the below
temperatures below freezing temps. What's it called a bomb cyclone?
I don't like something vortex, like a like a yeah,
something like that. I think I've heard the phrase though,

(20:37):
bomb cyclone. Yeah, that's pretty cool. Yeah, I mean listen,
you know, guys are gonna be Do you think there's
gonna be some guys playing in the NFL this weekend.
At some point during the game, we were like, I
don't care if we win or lose. I just want
to go inside. That's gonna happen hours. I mean, that's
not surprised to hear, is it? Um kind of you

(21:00):
would take out you know, it's all for the game,
like we want to win the game. Nobody want especially
if there's no postseason aspirations yet? Can you ever get
warm in that weather? Like? No, how to heat it bench?
If you never get up, you never get up. The
problem is if you're a backup and you're not dressed,
your ass should never be sitting on that bench. So

(21:21):
that's the problem. Yeah, you don't have access to that.
Oh man, I've I've been in so many games where
we weren't in postseason content contention, and it's just everything
is worse. It's colder, the hits hurt more, hitting the
ground hurts more, practices hurt more. That they seem longer,

(21:44):
like it's just does the body egg more? Uh? Yeah,
I don't know, because honestly, like I always felt like
the hits to kind of they just hit different. But
you also are so numb. It's just something, don't you
know feel it to the next day You're like, dang,
I don't remember you're getting hit like that? Yeah, like
do your do your toes? Gotta go now at some point, right,

(22:08):
you can't how many socks can you have on to
stay warm moving around when you're playing, you're moving around?
What if you're standing on the sideline. Yeah, that's that's
that's unfortunately the worst. It's just when you get wet
and you can't not be wet, like you can deal
with cold thirty seven rains. The worst that Big said.

(22:33):
If it's like it's supposed to be in the single
digits in some places and with a wind chill in
the negative like and when that wind whips up like that,
that is miserable. That's about as bad as it gets.
We honestly lost to Chicago one year because we were
out of playoff contention and it was too cold. Like

(22:53):
I'll admit that, dudes, was just it was hurting. As
soon as you come off of that bench and take
your coat off. You know how, they call it the hawk,
And in Chicago that hawk was swooping and I mean
just going straight through your body every time you fit.
You here to win and feel the win. It went
straight through your body. What year was that, I don't know.

(23:16):
I don't know. Maybe oh one O one went to
the problem here was that? Was that the game where
her lacquer on the fake punt? Yeah, Washington, how about that?
That's called recall? That was on me? Yeah wasn't really, Yeah,
it was on me. I was supposed to have I

(23:40):
remember that game. The Bears thought they were gonna there's
enough time to down to down the ball and just
like take a take a couple of knees, and they
didn't realize Washington still had time out and the Bears
still had to like punt the ball away because they
had no ability to get a first down. Their offense
had nothing like they could they nothing. Remember, I don't

(24:02):
really remember. I just remember that he leaked out on
on a trick play and apparently I was supposed to
have him to the flat and I didn't, and he
caught the ball and ran for a time. That was
a different time though. This was another game that was
in in Chicago, and it was cold. It was and
here's what was bad. The worst part about it is

(24:23):
your salvation is the shower after the game, and they
did not they had lukewarm water. Oh yeah, they had
lukewarm water. So so there's that. It was like, do
you go home dirty on the flight and stink? Do
you go into the lukewarm water and freeze even more
and try to get out of the shower, Like these

(24:46):
are the dilemmas that your face. Not not win or
lose against Chicago, not not win the game. You know
what's gonna happen with the game. The dilemma is the game,
not the game game? No, no, the post shower, the
post game. Do I shower to shower not to shower?
That that was the question. I would still I always showered,
Like I think I found the game two thousand three,

(25:07):
Steve Spurrier was your head coach. I'm sure Coach Spurrier
was on the sideline like, man it sure it's cold, Um,
we need to get we need to wrap this game
on out something you're not gonna be happy about. The
the A train Anthony Thomas in that game, you're Nemesis
from College thirty two carries a D one yards on
the ground. Sure, yeah, he was probably out there. I'm
surprised he didn't get more than that it was cold man,

(25:32):
and we weren't what what game was that? What number was?
Like a second to last game of the season. Bro,
we was eliminated. What are we playing for? Somebody? Somebody
look at you like, don't we got any pride? People
looking over at him like, if you don't go sit
down and somewhere shut up. Pride. Uh, it's pride is

(25:53):
the reason why I got my uniform on and I'm
out here. We've not dumb that. Well, you did have
a sack in that game, Rex, gross Now I was balling.
How many tackles that have six? I wasn't bald with Yeah,
but that was it? Yeah, that's it. And he passed
the deflections tackles for losses nothing forced fumble, forced fumble
in my game? Yeah? What are we playing? I'm not

(26:15):
a middle backer. I mean six tackles isn't bad for
announce that guy and a sack and a forced fumble?
I mean, yeah, I had a game. I had a game. Um, well,
do you have some good I care? If we want
our loss? Here we go. Hold you ready for some
good news? Well, before we get to the good news,

the good news. We are is in the house this
weekend because trace McSorley is getting the start for the
Arizona Cardinals. How bad? How bad a tracing first ever

(27:03):
career start. It's Christmas night and he's playing Tom Brady
in the Buccaneers, and they're going to be like, dang,
what do we do with Kyler Murray? Oh you think
it's going to go that well? Trace mcsorley's a He's
a dog. He's a dog. He was fun to watch
in college. I don't know if he could do it
in the league, but if he's anything like what he
was when he did play there and competes that way,

(27:25):
it should be fun to watch him. They're gon have
to change the offense dramatically because when he came into
that spot, duty last week and did not look good.
It was it was a bad deal. It was a problem.
We just throwing from the pocket. Well he wasn't known
for his throwing exactly. Yeah, anyway, he uh. I think

(27:47):
if they look if they transformed this thing in a
week's time, which is a tall order, and they just
run the crap out of the football with him running
that can, that can wear. You know, I might catch
Tampa Bay off off balance a little bit. You know,
you think that's gonna like what sort of nerves are
gonna be happening for him, knowing it's my first ever start,
it's Christmas, and Tom Brady's the quarterback on the other side.

(28:09):
I mean, he's not thinking about Christmas, I can tell
you that much. He's He's probably like more just making
sure I feel good about the game plan. Like someone
in his position can't look across at Tom Brady and
be worried about that. I mean, it's cool, it's great
to think about after the game, but not now. He's
just got to worry about trying to be better than

(28:30):
what he was last week and giving a chance, you know,
a team a chance to win. He was fun to
watch in college. He that was the one of the
best celebrations ever to remember. Yeah, the home run hit
like like you'd throw a touchdown and run one in.
He run over the sidelines and he'd like crow hop
into like a baseball swing, and they'd watch it go
over the fence, and it's pretty dope. I still remember
that game at Iowa. I think it was a night

(28:52):
game where they went down and scored and just how
quiet the entire stadium in Iowa got does That's not
supposed to happen? That wasn't that? That was such an
improbable season for for Pitt. Oh my gosh, man. Yeah,
we wanted a Big ten and didn't get invited to
the Dance. But a team that didn't even win the
Big Ten was in the playoff and it was justified

(29:16):
by the way. How did that work out for that team? Um,
they didn't win it. They got smoked. I believe, like
Clems right. Yeah, it's like Brady and I always say,
we are yeah, I hear, yeah, yeah, we are. We
are indie hockey, that's for sure. Oh, don't troll them
with that good's good stuff. Every once in a while

(29:37):
you show how you're against me. What are you talking about?
He's like Lee, like we're Lee acts like he's for
all of us. He really just is in Jonas's corner.
That's not true. I'm not not true at all from
all the times you've picked Lee up from being passed out,
but it was bondfire. That also is not true. I
will I tried to stay far away from Lee as

(29:59):
ponds moments. I'm stapling Tomali's together. Are you really stap?
What do you mean? Well, I'm putting together to go
package for myself of Tomory. Why do you just get
a ziplock bag? There's no ziplock bags in the studio.
What about foil? I have foil as well. You're zip
blocking the Tamali's in between foil. No, See what I'm

(30:21):
doing is I'm putting them in tinfoil, and then I'm
putting plates on either side, and I'm stapling the plates together. Jesus, Lee,
Oh my god, I don't even know how to describe
is one of the most interesting human beings I've ever
met in my life. But if anybody was wondering how
fancy uh behind the scenes in radio, was that that? Right?

(30:44):
There is a little glimpse by the way, like if
anyone wondered what happens behind to see it's the radio. Yes,
Lee can both do that and run the show at
the same time. You are one of the most interesting
human beings on the face this planet. I'll take it.
I'll take that. That is I mean, that is accurate.

(31:06):
That's something would be like, oh, my uncle or my
dad actually like was like directed or shot that movie?
That blows my mind. He's friends with Um, Like what
was it? Ryan got like we found out. Yeah, we're
just hanging out and Eva Mendez brings us leftover pizza. Yeah,
he's friends and and the pizza too, like like like

(31:29):
just you like that. Gosh he liked the pizza. Oh
my god, the pizza clean up? Ali Um surprised me.
Was that the best leftover? That? It's a good point,
wasn't the best leftover? That's actually factuable? Bore? Is that

(31:51):
not factually? Very factual? Most not? Well, that's not er.
If Lee's looking for something, he thought, he's not a
it's not LEAs, I'll uh uh he does. Yeah, it's

(32:18):
like you know, I just you never know what you're
gonna get from my fair. We were talking about back
to the future and we go to break and he
comes over and says, yeah, my dad was the drummer
and Michael J. Fox's banded Back to the Future. Like
what he goes, Yeah, he goes he had the Pinheads.
Like why wouldn't you say that on the air? But

(32:39):
I don't know, Okay, all right, Lee, Yeah, that's that's
not relevant to the conversation we're having. We're talking about
Universal Studio. If his dad was Biff, you know, he
was supposed to be McFly, was he? He's like right there, Yeah,
he was cast as McFly for a day after Eric
Stults lost the job that Derek Stults was his roommate

(32:59):
right there, So hold on, has he ever been recognized
as being a part of Back to the Future, weirdly
because it's such a cold classic. Yeah, it is. There's
a lot, there's a big following for that. He still
gets residuals for just being the drummer in the of
the Pinheads in Back to the Futures. A cool job, man.
I always talk to like some of the extras where

(33:21):
they're like professional extras, like they're part of it. I'm like,
this is what you do and they're like yeah, pretty
much just looking at my Brake and you kind of
talked to him for a while and you're like, oh,
kind of an interesting lifestyle. Yeah. That somebody I'm saying
when you grew up in the Midwest, you don't ever
think about that, is like, oh, that's a potential job. Yeah,
like like you don't look at that and go I
could just go be an extra in movies and commercials

(33:44):
and shows all day. It's pretty fantastic, get fed and
being part of the union like that. That that never
occurs to you. You know, it works slow. You just
pick up a waiter shift. Yeah, I'll just pick up
a shift, you know, a couple of shifts a week
until things pick up. Yeah. I've done that a few times.
Have Well, have you been in anything other than adult films? Weird?

(34:06):
Weird stuff? Yeah, weird stuff. I was a voice of
Casper on a theme park ride in Korea, South Korea.
But right here, that's a perfect example. North Korea. Here
a dozen years and you just this is the first
time you ever said this in the air. You're a

(34:26):
voice over actor in Korea as a kid who did
some voice stuff. Yeah, that's like right there. Roporto with
the question of the Year, South Yeah, better said, No,
that would have been better if you sit in north. Yeah,

(34:48):
that's a good point. Oh man, I was young. I
was pretty young, like, well, I don't know, somewhere around
the ten range and ten is that ride still there? No?
I doubt it. I don't know. You don't get a
check in the mail. I didn't get this. I didn't
get anything working. I was free labor. This was this

(35:11):
was that's not the person that it was a ride,
my folkus was your part time job, Nike. Alright, but
hold that part time labor. Leading just paid off all
those kids who flipped. You can thank Phil Knight. Let's

(35:33):
just bring this thing full circle in this hour. Thanks
Phil paid off those kids with all your free labor. Alright.
