I ain't should be now. If you want to hil
at us, you got something to say, good or bad,
tweet us at Labar Arrington, at Plexical Birds, at Fox
Sports Radio, at Who's Shady for a plex was going
on with your Merry Christmas brother Man, Merry Christmas eve Man.

(02:15):
You know just you know, it's a little brick outside
of up on Northeast Man. This morning I saw ice
on the inside of the front door. Oh wow, I mean,
I don't think on the inside of the on the
inside of the front door, so you are what it
was outside. I was like, I ain't never seen this before.
I was standing outside looking at palm trees with with

(02:39):
Christmas lights on them. I mean, it hasn't been the
warmest hair though. Plex has gotten into like the forties
and like even high thirties. But you know, no, snow
is a factor. It is being pretty chilly. It has
its Man, y'all don't know what chili. You're right, chilly willy.

(03:00):
Lavartin knows what it is. He just hadn't had to
deal with it in a long time. That would be
you as well. So so I'm just saying, I don't
know what cold is anymore, and I don't want it.
I don't want it at all. And before we get going,
by the way, I gotta send out a shot to
the Harris family and to to hell up the goats

(03:20):
of goats, Our our biggest living legend is now gone.
UM shots out to Franco Harris man and in the
Harris family. UM tremendous loss for for the Pittsburgh community.
But if you know who Franco Harris is, of course
you know that he's a tremendous loss to our Penn
State football community as well. UM is that that's a heartbreaker,

(03:43):
Super super heartbreaker, dope, one of the dopest dudes you'll
ever meet, one of the most kindest, you know, giving
people you ever have met. So shots, So I don't
know if you have you want to say something on
him Tuesday, I know, did you did you know? Did
you know Franco like personally? Oh yeah, I mean I
know he went to Penn State things. No, No, that's
that's that, And that's who Franco is. You you were

(04:04):
if you were connected to Pittsburgh or you were connected
to Penn State, you were gonna know who Franco was.
And if you're in a lum you were gonna definitely
know who he was. I know you you got something
on him, probably teach plaque. Oh man, man, every time
I just ran this Franco saw him a few months ago. Man,
and you you would sit there and find yourself just
you know, saying, you know, saying hello. Sam was up

(04:26):
to him, and you look up and you're having a
conversation one for twenty or thirty minutes, and you know
that was a kind of person that he was, man
and like his his demeanor as a person didn't match
his style of play at all. And you said he
would say to yourself, man, how can one of the
nicest people in the world be that dominant on the

(04:49):
football field. And you know when he when he walked around, man,
he walked into the locker room, you know, over those
seven years that I was in Pittsburgh, Man, he just
had an oar and a presence around him, and you
would just stand next to him like, Yo, man, this
dude was a running back. He's big. It's a big
standard about six four and six five and a half

(05:10):
and you're like, yo, this dude's are running back. But man,
you know, he just you know, he passed away, you know, uh,
you know, suddenly the other day and it was the
first thing I saw when I woke up wins and
I was like, fifty years ago today, the immaculate reception,
and he was getting his number retired today. And if
you know anything about Pittsburgh history and tradition, there aren't

(05:33):
too many football numbers retired. And for him, man, fifty
years ago to day, while still one of the greatest
players of all time. Yeah, So so for me, it's
a little different. I'm met Franco one time and it
was just like, hey, how you doing. Nice to meet you.
He was like, man, I like the way you play,
even though you always played well against my staters, and

(05:57):
that that was it. But it's I didn't really get
to know him or have a conversation with him, like
plaques expressed. Because a lot of times you know a
guy that's big and runs the ball and is extremely
aggressive on the football field, I don't know why we
would assume and think how he's gonna be like that

(06:18):
off the field. And so that happens a lot because
a lot of a lot of guys that are extremely
aggressive as athletes, they are by far and away the
nicest people that you'll meet outside of that sport um.
Condolences to his family. We hope they're getting through this

(06:40):
um the best they can. It sucks because the Steelers
were honoring him this weekend fifty year anniversary of the
Immaculate Reception Um. And that's why when you have friends
and family here that you care about, you gotta let
them know because tomorrow isn't promised, is not promising as

(07:02):
we age. We you know, we're twenties when we first
got a locker room, were twenty three, twenty two, whatever
it may be. Man, all these old dudes in here, man,
and you're talking about and then you become the old
guy and now we are the older guys that and
it's time just goes on, man, And so we must
let each other know how much we appreciate each other,

(07:24):
how much we care for each other, because there's gonna
be a day where we can't do that. Yeah. So
the Ronnie Hillman and the Hillman family as well, that
was speaking of timely losses. That that was a that
was a hurt piece too, man. You know, you know
as uh, you know, the holiday seasons bring up the
memories of the ones that you lost, you know, man,

(07:47):
you add new ones to it as you're going. But
you know, that's that's super sad news to hear about. Uh.
Former Broncos running back Ronnie Hillman as well. In his passing,
Um got eyes, I mean, she's it is. It is
the holidays, I mean around him and things is extremely
sad because he was thirty one years old, man, I

(08:09):
mean he's from the area where I'm at, where we're at.
Basically he went to the Hopper High School of Art
and the San Diego to be thirty one years old,
thirty one, it was a rare form it must it
attacked him from what I hear, very aggressively. And again
it's unfortunate. But I know quite a few people that

(08:31):
I knew him, and he must have been a great dude.
I never met him, but never met him. They were
all putting up all kinds of things on social media,
and every time he's just laughing and having fun. And
so again, man, we we gotta keep things in perspective
and put things in perspective. Um, I love y'all, man,

(08:51):
love you, love you, t J, love you, Sammy love you,
I love you, I love love you. Guys. Man, you
know you gotta make sure you're said. You know, you
never know, never no doubt was I we we got
a lot of early games and the best games on
the slate, Gihons, Vikings, Seahawks, that Chiefs and being was

(09:12):
that Patriots really? I mean the Bengers at Patriots. I
don't know if it's as good as the Giants of
the Giants can't afford to lose, the Seahawks can't afford
to lose. The Patriots are out of it because I
don't see the Patriots winning another game, and if they do,
it maybe just wants to so they're out of it.
But out of those matchups, which one are you looking

(09:32):
forward to? And what do we believe is going to
be the best game, And you don't play factors like
it's brick for people that are listening to its brick.
He means it's really cold. So that Seahawks and Chiefs
game I read where it's like thirteen degrees below. Man, listen,

(09:53):
there's two games on the slate today that I wouldn't
want to be playing in. That is the New Orleans
Staatets at the Cleveland Browns and the Buffalo Business Chicago.
It is minus twenty in Chicago today, and when you
have a record of four and nine and there's no
outlook for you for the team and going to the playoffs,

(10:15):
it's just a little bit colder because this is one
of those games you're like, man, we really gotta go
out here and earn this check today because it is
minus twenty to grieve and the John's the Giants looked
up to day because it's well, it's about nine greets
in New Jersey, but they got the fortunate to be

(10:36):
able to play in Minnesota. They so they're playing inside
the dome. But I think the game today is I
think I think this is a trap game for Buffalo.
I really do. Going to Chicago and this weather and
knowing that it's a game that they need to win.
Chicago is a tough team when they're playing at home,

(10:57):
and that this is just one of those games, is
that they just can't really relax only say listen, we're
gonna win this game. They gotta go out and earn
this one. And I think the Chicago Bells are gonna
come out and play it hard. Minus the weather's gonna
be in with the Bells. In the Bears game, it's
minus twenty degrees, minus twenty seven. Go ahead and add

(11:19):
that seven. Man, It's just like, hey, coach man, I
think I took my hamstringing warm up minus twenty seven.
I played in again. I played when we played in
Green Bay, it was minus sixteen degrees, but the windship
was minus twenty three. I think it was like one
of the top it's five or ten colders games and

(11:42):
ever ever being played. But the day minus twenty seven,
it's right up there. What I think it's going to
be the coldest game ever played. You know, the game
I'm looking forward to is Dallas and Philly. You know,
I really, I really want to hear that because you know,
I'm I'm thinking about it from the standpoint of I
don't know if Jalen hurts. Have they ruled him out

(12:02):
to rule them in yet should not playing? Yea, yeah,
they should. They should rule him out. Um. And so
you don't have Jalen hurt, you're gonna have Gardner Minshew,
that's gonna be in there. Um. I think that the
game itself, there are a lot of people that have
issues with the way, uh, your boy Dak Prescott is playing,

(12:26):
and I just happened to be one of them. Now.
Granted their defense, how has he played. He hasn't played bad.
He hasn't played well either, though, what do you mean? Like?
It really annoys me when I watched television and people say, oh,
Dad has to cut down on the interceptions, Let's keep
it a buck. The first interception when when we're talking

(12:48):
last week against the jack's up twenty seven to ten,
When you're up twenty seven to ten, the last I
check's enough. Yeah, that's on the defense to bring that, okay,
and interception did not go through the receiver's hands hands.
I was I was getting to the point that the
defense that that was my setup. I have not trusted

(13:09):
this Dallas offense. I have been a critic of Dak Prescott,
but he was not the issue in terms of how
they lost this game to Jacksonville last week. It was
the defense that let them down, which now leads me
to my my point of how do you how do
you approach this game if your Dallas when you know

(13:31):
that your defense didn't live up to what they were
supposed to live up to and you're going up against
an offense that isn't even gonna have their starting quarterback.
I think this is going to be a a harder
game for Dallas than what people may think, even though
Jalen Hurts isn't in the game. And I'm intrigued by
what it's going to represent because you know Dallas needs

(13:52):
this this victory. You know they're fighting their fighting, I mean,
they've clinched their their their playoff spot, but you're still
fighting for cit absolutely, So that's gonna be That's that's
the one I'm watching. I'm and your boy. Michael Parson's man.
You know he's from Harrisburg and he rubbed some people
in Pennsylvania the wrong way the came out and said

(14:14):
that Jalen Hurts wasn't the reason why the Philadelphi Eagles
are winnning football games. It was a defense, and he said,
being from being from Pennsylvania and being from Harrisburg, I'm
pretty sure that he has some some family and some
friends out of the Eagles fair So he better go
out there and put on the show because they're gonna
let They're gonna let him have it out there and

(14:34):
feel it. Hey, you know, number one Phillies offensive line
is really really good. I mean, you're not many chip
blocks they're gonna get with Mike and the reps. He's
gonna pay for that. He's gonna he's gonna pay for that.
But we've all played in cold weather. I played in

(14:54):
one game. We played the Cleveland Browns. I'll never forget this, man,
it was we it was the fourteenth game of the season,
so it's week fifteen and it was negative eleven degrees.
I'll never forget it. I walked out, so I looked
at him like day cold today it was clear, sky's
sun was out. Bro We went on the field for

(15:16):
pre game. The field felt like concrete cleats wouldn't even
get into the grass. You know Cleveland has a grass field.
Cleats wouldn't get into the grass. Hey, Flexico, Chad didn't
play that game. We Chad didn't play the game. We
threw the ball eleven times. I had zero targets. Oh

(15:38):
we would We ran the ball like four. I was man,
I was mad. I was. I'm like, I can't get
one of eleven, Like I can't get out one of
the eleven. Rudy we had? We had Rudy J. Rudy J.
It didn't matter. But I say that the same like

(15:58):
when you're in the heat of the moment, you want
the ball, but it was extremely cold. That ball is hard.
The quarterbacks really don't want to throw it because it's
hard to grip because it's so hard, it's heavy. So
these for me, these games are gonna be who can
control the line of scrimmage. Guys are gonna be cold,

(16:19):
but you're gonna get through that. But this is gonna
be let's shoot the clock, especially a team like Chicago
with justin fields and run the ball. This limit jobs
shotting's possessions. And if it turns that way in the
Seahawks in Chiefs game, that that would be interesting which
team can hold up. The Chiefs are better on defense,
but the Seahawks have shown man, they can't stop the round.

(16:41):
But can Kansas City commit to that if that's their
way to win the game. Well, I don't know, We'll see.
I guess well that that first segment. It always seems
to fly by. But again, condolencens to Franko Harris and
his family, Ronnie him and Condolesnce to your family as well. Man,

(17:04):
Black and Yellow. He's gonna send us out with that.
Let's see what. You know what? I kind of want
Mike Tomlin to keep his streak of non losing seasons. Huh.
I want to see the Steelers. I want to see
the Steelers finish this season strong. Um up on game.
We appreciate you guys joining us this Christmas Eve. Fox

on trending before we get into these rumors of Sean

(19:17):
Payton hal what's trending, fellas, It's already been a crazy
day in sports. The NFL has officially delayed the kickoff
of today's Tennessee Titans Houston Texans game in Nashville by
one hour to two o two pm Eastern Time, which
is one oh two Nashville time, in order to minimize

(19:39):
the impact on the power grid in Nashville, which has
been strained due to the extremely cold temperatures affecting the region.
The other games that have been scheduled to kick off
at the top of the hour are still going to
kick off as scheduled. Meanwhile, huge breaking news from Major
League Baseball. The Athletic reported a short time ago that,

(20:00):
like the San Francisco Giants earlier this week, the New
York Mets have now raised concerns about Carlos Correa's surgically
repaired lower right leg, potentially jeopardizing the twelve year, three
hundred fifteen million dollar deal that they agreed to. Yeah,
the Athletic ads quote. The parties could agree to a

(20:21):
restructured contract if the Mets continue to express reservations about
the long term stability of Correa's leg, but it might
be difficult for the Mets to back out of the
agreement entirely after their owner Steve Cohen went on record
this week talking about the deal. Unquote, crazy day already
fellows back to you. I'm backing out. I'm backing out

(20:43):
that deal. If you're gonna you're gonna give somebody over
three million. I mean, you need to have a clean
bill of health. I'm sorry you. It's mandatory. It's a must.
It's a lot of money, A long time. Guys. You're right,
but found to be healthy before you sign that deal.
I mean, that's that's what I thought. Yeah, they didn't
suck out. You want No, I don't have to go

(21:07):
through a film. Don't believe they signed it. I believe
they verbally. But verbal agreement is binding by law. No
it's not. Oh yes it is. You better look at
Contractually is not. It's verbal verbally binding. I'm suing, I'm
suing settle out of court for a jawbreaker and uh

(21:29):
now later. But I'm sure can you imagine a range
of emotions that Carlos Krab had you. You get this
huge contract with the Giants going away, they bring up
the physical. Okay, Scott Boars does his job. Okay, I'm
gonna get you with the Mets. Okay, you you didn't
lose much money. And now the same thing, he's like,

(21:50):
they don't want they don't want nah, twelve years, three hundred,
three hundreds, some change, they don't want them. Now, don't
want to You don't You don't want a forty year
old short stuff, not in today's game. It's not with
a short leg. I believe I believe he had he
like broke his all the bar years ago. Man concerns

(22:13):
that changed, that is that had changed the length of
your leg. I know, you know, I started getting that
cartilage cleaned out of my knee. Next thing, you know,
my hip was hurt. Next day, you know, my back
was hurt. Next week was walking with a small Hey,
you've seen how I was moving that last year. Plex
I had to keep that knee clean. Next day. You
know my achilles tend to them. Pop. I ain't even

(22:34):
done nothing. Remember, I don't know if you were involved
in this conversation. I just remember I believe it was
at a point last year, Lavarre had a nerder tell
me thirty days, I'm gonna going to cleanse, I'm gonna
be ripped up, like I'm no. That was during the
super Bowl in Miami. That was right before two years ago,
three years ago. Like he told me thirty days, he

(22:56):
would get ripped up like I did. Shoot, I did show, y'all.
I did go in the gym for about thirty days
when my son was in town. I did get yoked up.
I didn't look the same as it was a little
quick pump. I mean, I wouldn't go as far as
you being yoked up. But you know, I really do
appreciate the effort that she was trying to put into
it once I was trying to accomplish. But thank you.

(23:18):
It's just sadly enough, man, we know we were not
the young Spring chickens we used to be, and we
think we got it though, right mind, I can't go
back in though I'm a pas my life if I
didn't do it for the College Football Hall of Fame.
To fit good my suit, I probably ain't go up
I wrap it up, might I might? Hey, bro, why

(23:40):
was everybody else looking in shape? Courtney came up in
there looking in shape, be short, looked look like he
ad dB Now he didn't lost weight. You know, dudes
just looking all trim and slim. Man, I'm up in there.
I got my my sup coat unbuttoned because I can't.
I got at like that one button. It's fighting for
his life. Yeah. Man, it wasn't a good look. And

(24:02):
I knew I needed to get in shape. I knew
I needed to look my best. I looked chubby at
my face than anything ELV. But you mean I'm motivated
to do other things, you know what I mean? On
my belly, man plex plex Like he ain't gained the pan. Man, Man,

(24:22):
I don't put on a few of them shows. She
looked like curse now man, his hand in the dirt
coming off the edge. I mean, but I'm a naturally
skinny guy. Man, you know what I mean. I'm not
gonna blow up. You know what I mean, I'm just
a you know, my ankles and knees and all that,

(24:43):
they ain't change no time soon. So my my frame
is not built to hold a lot of week. So
that's just what it is. That's mine as well. That
that's the good part about it. Yeah, that's too part
about it. I tend to put the weight on better
than y'all, you know I have. I have the you
like to cook and eat, man like you really like

(25:06):
the cooking beat. I made some do it to you.
It was fire. Yeah it was good. I didn't eat.
I'm taking my skills to the next level. Well, speaking
of looking good and feeling good, Sean Payton, from what

(25:28):
we're hearing from rumors and from others that are supposedly
have all this information, he's looking to get back in coaching,
which we all knew. But he's trying to farm a
all star coaching staff if you believe he can do that.
But big fans, y'all always thought defensively, like man is

(25:53):
dude is so good. He was hardballs decordinator with the
Niners when the Niners were playing well. When he was
the head coach of the Vikes. I mean that the
vikings of the Broncos, they were extremely stout on defense.
When he's a defensive coordinator in Chicago. They were really good.
Now the question is where does Sean Payton go. He's

(26:14):
not going anywhere that does not have a quarterback in place?
Where can him? How many organizations do I mean, we
only have we get into this conversation all the time. Man,
We really only have five or six elite all star
quarterbacks in his world, in his league. And after you

(26:35):
get past number five, you can pretty much round out
the top ten or whoever you think, shoot me on
your list, and they're all going to be a few vacancies.
Is y'all think of Carolina Panthers, um, but they don't
have an answer for a quarterback situation down there, probably
for the next five and many years. I think the

(26:56):
Houston Texas, I think they're gonna fire Lovey Smith, and
maybe the Chicago Bears, and you look at those three
organizations of whatever is mentioned. I mean, I think I
do believe that Sean Payton will coach again next season,
but I just don't see anywhere for him to go
with the coaching style that that he's going to bring

(27:19):
to an organization, especially with the quarterback talent that he's
been accustomed to, and it's gonna be a tremendous drop
off in in production as far as from a quarterback
position anywhere that he goes. So he's gonna have to
figure something out, get a draft pick, make a trade

(27:39):
if he wants to come back and coach, because the
quarterback list is very limited. When you talk about being
able to compete to get to the playoffs and win
the World Championship rather than uh uh if he doesn't
join U an organization, which which which is going to
be a surprise firing from him to take over. But
I don't see that happen to need. Well, I do

(28:03):
think that God, God, God, no, no, you got a
lavarco ahead, you got it. Well, I'm thinking we're obviously
talking about it right now. So the fact that we're
talking about it, he's putting out, he's putting the warning shots,
he's putting the flag up, he's got the bat you know,
the bat light in the in the sky, you know,

(28:25):
summoning him to to come coach. There will be a
surprise firing, because that's gonna be you know, they may
not be able to beat beat some of these other
teams to interviewing him and wanting to bring him on.
But you gotta assume the team that he wants, they
probably already knew he wanted that. The team that is
going to be, they probably already know what they want
to do. And I would not be surprised if Brandon

(28:48):
Stateley takes his last you know call as as a
as a coach this year for for the Chargers. I
would not be surprised if it ends up being uh,
Sean Payton that comes in and to weeks over and
and has uh obviously Herbert as as his I mean,
why and why wouldn't you do it if I'm if
I'm the Chargers. Why wouldn't you do it if I'm

(29:10):
if I'm Sean Payton. This is the perfect place right
he wants to be in broadcasting, he still wants to coach.
You coach, You're here in l A. You're you're around
all of these exacts Boom, you stay relevant for TV
while you're you're still coaching, and you're coaching a a
really really fine elite quarterback with by the way, elite
talent on the team. So this team has underperformed with

(29:34):
the amount of talent that they've had for for a
while now. I would say that would be the most
logical um move for uh an all star studded cast
of of coaches. This is a quarterback. To surprise Firings,
I'm gonna throw it out there to surprise Firings. I
would say Cliff Kingsbury or Josh mcdames. I don't believe

(29:56):
Josh is going anywhere. Cliff I could see that happening
for sure. Mark Davis, he's not gonna eat that money.
It's a long contract. They still paying John Gruden's his
first year. They're not going to the playoffs, but they
somewhat still in the hunt. But you know what LaVar
is before you said what you said. Unless the Chargers

(30:18):
win a Super Bowl, Sempagne is gonna be the head
coach of the Charges next year. The Charges need to
win a Super Bowl. If they don't win the Super Bowl,
he's gonna be the head coach of the Chargers. You
have a young quarterback in Herbert that he can in
essence retire. With Herbert as his quarterback, he'll coach ten
twelve years and go off into the sunset. Regardless of

(30:40):
where Sean Payton coaches, he's going to be in the
spotlight if he would like to get in TV when
he's done coaching. That's going to be available, That's going
to be an option regardless of where he coaches. But
he wants to go where he has a chance to win.
The Chargers give him a chance to win. What Herbert
is their quarterback. You know what, all the young quarterbacks

(31:02):
in the league, those coaches are solidified like they're not
going anywhere. Andy Reid isn't leaving Kansas City at least,
I don't believe. Um. What about Broncos, Zach, He's not
going to Denver? He don't. Russell Wilson is on the
back end of his career in the way Russell looks now,

(31:23):
Sean Pagne ain't going for that. Pays the quarterback guru now.
But listen, Sean Payton is not putting his career in
the hands of Russell Wilson the way he has looked.
He's not. He's not doing that man the other way.
That's a pretty intense dude too, man, like you ain't

(31:44):
you know, if he can't go up in there and
get that Russell Wilson the way he wants to get
out of him, he ain't going He's not gonna coach
that dude. Zach Taylor, the biggest issue. Zach Taylor and Cincinnati.
He's not going anywhere. Sean McDermott in Buffalo, He's not
going anywhere. Um who else am I missing? Just think
about these young quarterbacks that can really play. The coaches

(32:06):
aren't going anywhere. The Chargers Peterson Jacksonville, I'm not going anywhere.
The Chargers have underachieved when you look at before the
season started, I said, on paper, the Church might have.
What about Cleveland, I don't know, if I don't. I

(32:27):
don't believe Sean Payton would go coach in Cleveland. I
don't believe. So why not? I just it's a very
very attractive roster. I mean, I don't know how he
feels about, you know, the quarterback, but that is an
elite quarterback outside of everything else, all things given, that
is an elite of elite quarterbacks. And that is an opening,

(32:50):
that is impossible opening. The Browns have a They have
a really good roster offensively and defensively, they really do.
And is getting better week after week. He's getting better.
He's playing better. But you know, they've grossly underachieved during
his tenure there. They haven't underachieved. He took him to

(33:11):
the playoffs. They've they've been to the playoffs. Now I
get ahead of like Super Bowler Bowl. I give him
a past. This year they had him in a Super
Bowl with Baker Mayfield as a quarterback. In Baker Mayfield
is now going to be a career backup. So how
can you like, so did he did he underachieve or
did he overachieve? Yeah? You so? For me, I believe

(33:37):
the Charges don't win a Super Bowl. Sean Payton will
be the coach at the Los Angeles Chargers because he's
that good of a coach. You make it. They're going
to the playoffs now, they've rebounded from their early season troubles.
But I believe with Justin Herbert, you have an opportunity
to compete each and every year with the Mahomes, the

(33:57):
Josh Allens and the Joe Burrows. Just in the a
f C. And I didn't even bring up Lamar Jackson
because he's hurt right now. But you get Sean Payton
with Justin Herbert out here in l A. Man, it's
gonna it's gonna be. And that defense, that deep, you
got Khalil Mack, you got boats on the end. You've
got good linebackers on the back end of time. Yeah,

(34:21):
if they can stay healthy. Kalil Mack has played well
this year. Boats has been uh in and out, a
little under, a little under the weather, all right, but yeah,
for me, you get there. And I'm sure like Khalil
Mack he played under Fangio in Chicago as his defensive coordinator.
I'm sure he would welcome that. I'm sure he would

(34:41):
be all for that. It's gonna be really interesting because
very rarely in the National Football League do we see
coaches that have a successful season going to the I
know we got we're up against it on the break,
But what about Arizona? I said, Yeah, but about Arizona,
I mean, I don't think it's this job is secure especially,

(35:05):
I mean they're in just array right now. I Mean
there's rumors that saying Kingsbury may just resign like they're
done so. But with Sean Payton, I want to go
into that situation. Does Sean Payton feel like, you know,
sometimes best situation to go into is you get a
lot of power, because you get a lot of power

(35:26):
Sean Payton and Sean Payton like no pun intended, like
he's him, He's gonna get that power regardless of he's
not going to go back. You got d hop you
got I mean you got players? Bro? Does you got
the kid from Carolina? That's there? Robbie, Uh, what is it?
Robbie Anderson? The receiver polish and the receiver position to say,

(35:51):
does Sean Payton? And again, I don't know Kyler Murray,
but people put these rumors out to kind of assassinate
his character. But problems. All of them aren't true, but
some of them have to hold some weight. Do Sean
Payton want to deal with that? Does he want to
deal with that? But but also does Colin Murray fit
Sean Payton style of Tyler Murray? Because well, he, because

(36:15):
of the respect and what Sean Payton has accomplished, be
a different person playing under him than he is. Very possiblesible.
I don't think Colin Americans can has the you know,
the mental toughness to play under Sean Payton. That could
be true too. That is interesting. But this is why

(36:40):
as time ticks on, we we will have all these answers.
Man the first hour, we almost done with the first hour.
Games are slated to kick off here in the next
fifteen twenty minutes. We got our guy, Mr Plaxico Burris
and the soul Train line Fox Sports Radio. Up on Game.

(37:00):
We'll be right back. Hey, I'm Doug Gottlieb. The podcast
is called All Ball. We usually talk all basketball all
the time, but it's more about the stories about what
made these people love their sport and all the interesting
interactions along the way. We talked to coaches, we talked

(37:22):
to players. We tell you stories. You downloaded, you listen
to it. I think you like it. Listen to All
Ball with Doug Gotlieb on the I Heart Radio app,
Apple Podcast or wherever you get your podcast. Welcome back,
it's up on game. Welcome back in Up on Game.

(37:42):
We're live from a tire wreck dot com studio. I'm
t J. Housmansada. We got Plex scored Burst, we have
Lavari Errington. I was during this break. I was just
looking at social media. Bro. Did y'all see the Seahawks receivers.
It's negative eleven degrees in Kansas City, went on with

(38:05):
those shirt off DK the whole receiving corps, and then
they didn't convince the receiving coach, Sanjay La believe that
was see him. I play with him with his shirt off.
He took his shirt off. Hey, that's a coach that's
putting in long hours. He getting in that gym, Bro
Sanjay getting in that gym. He wasn't he was in shape.
But hey, you do that. Ain't nothing to the mouth though,

(38:31):
And we all noticed when you do that, you cold
as hell. You cold. They out there like it's cold,
but you're trying to act like it. Ain't you trying
to psych yourself out. Yeah, let me let me sink
the gold when it's cold. It's cold for everybody. It
ain't nothing you can do. There's nothing you can do
about it is trying to stay as warm as you
possibly can. That's all you can really do. Time out,

(38:54):
you're running over to the heater, just keeping your hands,
putting your helmet in there and then put it on
your head. Man, that's motivation to get quick touchdowns. Get
off the field, get back to that. There's nothing like
playing that zero and that single digits temperatures, playing in
three real stadium on that turf. And would you would
you guys rather play, would you guys rather play in

(39:15):
the type of weather that we're discussing right now, or
would you rather play in let's say, ninety degrees. Put
me in. Put me in the heat all day long,
to be cold, because all day and I know what
I'm getting, I'm on black. To put me in the heat.
Put me in the y'all running down field, y'all trying
to catch the ball. See me, I don't have to

(39:36):
worry about y'all. I just worry about the bus. I
just I just worry about Corey Della. You know we're gonna,
we're gonna, we're gonna. We're gonna cramp up in that heat.
But I'd rather be hot. But will This is one
thing I will say about playing wide receivers, that everybody
is not a cold weather receiver. Yeah they are not,
but weather one. That the production drops and Phillip Man,

(40:05):
we was robbed of a childhood's I got. I got
better the code that got. The first hour is over.
We're gonna we switched it up. We'll started off with
up on game, down on game because we got early games,
Fox Sports Radio. Up on game. We'll be right back.
Second hour
