Com the way tire buying should be. By the way,
I've decided, I'm not going to call it Super wild
Card weekend, not doing it, not going to partake because
we're missing multiple starting quarterbacks this weekend. So I refused
to It's not the same had everybody been playing and
everybody had been in full health, then I want to
call it a Super wild Card weekend. So uh, as
(01:25):
you wish, Brady Quinn, it's just wild card weekend. Now
we're gonna go ahead and leave Super alone. That's all
it is. Like, just because we added one team in
each conference and what was that a couple of years ago? Now,
can we just drop the Super? It's just it's walk
our week go by the way, over under two years,
two and a half years, they add an eighth team
to the playoffs. Um, I'll take the over, but barely
(01:50):
right like we're gonna get there. I think we're gonna
get there. But you have to understand that's something that's
you know, been negotiated collectively bargained. Um, I put leave.
If I'm not mistaken. The time frame of of how
the additional team in each conference came about had a
little bit to do with how the CBA was renegotiated
(02:10):
during COVID because a lot there's a lot of changes
that took place to post career player benefits for players.
And then in that right as as the union was
looking at trying to get you know, clarity on the
working conditions during COVID and then testing and how all
that stuff would work out, you know, there are some
other things that the owners were able to get and
(02:31):
and renegotiate. So you mean the owners got got over
on the players and then negotiate. It might sound shocking
to you, but yeah, the owners got the best of
the players in another negotiation. That is a stunning development. Um.
By the way, you know, you know it's not a
stunning development the fact that it's a football Friday. No, yeah,
it's a damn football Friday. Yeah yeah, cut the music.
(03:03):
Cut the music. That is wow. Okay, I didn't I
didn't think you would to those levels. Oh man, something
new that might have been your funniest bit from our
one that you've done. All right, you said it did,
(03:25):
sounded you did sound good though I sounded like t o.
It was great. You said it great. And by the way,
you know what it sounded so good. I completely lost
my train of thought because I was gonna point something
out about Jonas, but I got so caught up into
your t O impression that that was that was it.
Jonas is started now just a literally morphin Chris Collinsworth
like it. It's basically happening. There's times where you open
(03:48):
the show Jonas and you sound like Chris Collinsworth. I mean,
I gotta tell you, like, and here's the thing, Like
you listen to Brady, listen to LaVar and it's like, like,
who's this joke? I mean, I felt like I'm selling Yeah.
Al Michael said that because he's calling a game friend
BC and now he's uh. I didn't read the context
(04:09):
to his actual quote. Was he was he being overly
insulting to Amazon? Didn't he sign a big long term
deal with Amazon to call these games? Or I mean,
tellt me to explain how bad things went for Amazon
this year? I heard it was a ratings bonanza or
the exact opposite, so much so that, um, there's a
(04:30):
term called make good right, So in the TV and
streaming industry, when you're working with advertisers, right, you're basically
saying like Hey, we feel like we're gonna get this
average amount of viewers and and that's why you're, you know,
paying to come advertise on Amazon on our streaming platform. Well,
(04:50):
Amazon fell well short of that number, um And because
of that, now Amazon has to make good with all
those advertisers and provide them free ad advertising elsewhere on
their platform. So that obviously hurts the hurts the walled
a little bit. For Amazon, and given the fact they're
paying a handsome fee to the NFL for the rights,
(05:12):
hasn't necessarily got off the best start. And it doesn't
help when Al Michael's is comparing that package to selling
use cars. Oh man, the well, listen, what do you
think it was? No, not at all. I mean, what
do you what do you think it was? Was it
(05:33):
the matchups? Or was it the hoops that you had
to go through to try and find Amazon? And if
people just get frustrated with the whole thing, like what
do you what do you think was the problem? The
initial sign up? And initially it was good, right Like,
they had a bunch of people flood to Amazon, and
you know, the viewership I think in a few key
matchups was great. I didn't have an Amazon Prime. Before
(05:54):
this year, I didn't even had no interest in it,
but I knew I needed to get it to watch
the games where you're not really good with delivery services,
as I found out trying to send you a gift. Listen, hey, listen,
that guy left way too early and it's not my problem.
So tell him to figure it out, and don't get
scared because all of a sudden he's in the hate
O five A right, you deliver packages to my place,
You're gonna have to deal with the repercussions. You step
(06:15):
out of line. That's how that works. And he got scared.
But was it just the matchups or was it the
confusion and not being able to just turn on a
channel and going straight to the game. Because early on
in Thursday Night Football, when Thursday Night Football first came
out for the NFL Network, remember they were having to
do color rush games because people weren't really watching and
(06:38):
people weren't really interested. And then all of a sudden,
the matchups got better. It went to Fox. Buck and
Acram were on the call, and it took on a
completely different tone. This felt like the early days of
Thursday Night Football on NFL Network. Like it felt like
it was a little bit I don't want to say cheaper,
but it just didn't feel as on the same level
(06:59):
as what Fox puts out, what CBS puts out, what ESPN,
NBC put out. And I'm just trying to figure out
if the having to do make goods on revenue and
ads and all that, people just watched it and felt
the same thing, or if they just didn't want to
have to pay the extra money based on everything else
they were paying for when it comes to Sunday ticket.
(07:20):
I'm just I just wonder what the issue was with
Thursday night football. Then Al Michaels would air it out.
But it's a bigger discussion point because I think a
lot of people out there who are like listening to
us have this conversation. You know, if you cut chords, right,
you're trying to replace what you're cutting and cable, and
so if you do that, you know you've got to
(07:41):
have a variety of apps and streaming services that you
pay for in order to accomplish that. So you've got
to have obviously your your live streaming sports apps, you know,
whatever those maybe, and then you've got to be able
to have the ability to watch Thursday night football that's
solely on Amazon, exclusively on Amazon, and then you try
to watch you know, whether it's direct you know, streaming
through Direct TV, Sunday Ticket. What have you got to
(08:03):
pay for that? I mean, at the end of the day,
between the internet service, you're you're paying for all the
streaming services you're trying to get to package it all
together to watch everything, you end up probably paying more
than if you just would have gotten cable. So that's
the hard thing is, you know, I know, we're in
this world where like people are trying to cut costs
and trying to figure out the most efficient way of
(08:24):
doing things, but it's hard because it ends up like
I don't think the streaming streaming quality is getting better,
but it's still not consistently there like cable is. But
you know, cable now is just providing you a lot
of stuff that you don't really watch and some things
you do, and so you feel like you're paying too
much for a bunch of stuff you never really utilize.
(08:44):
So I don't know, it's it's an odd time right
now to be a subscriber to a streaming service or
even like a cable provider out there and it's a
really weird time. I just wonder, I just wonder, what, like,
isn't that the only place he's he's doing games right now? Yeah,
(09:04):
just this far end of the game. Al Michael's gonna
do whatever the hell he wants. You know, al Michaels
doesn't eat vegetables. I'll eat a steak, literally doesn't eat Yeah,
and looks good, sounds great. Still a great broadcaster, and
it's got the balls to call out his own employer
(09:25):
and say you're a used car. All right, that's that's
the kind of al Michaels we need in this world.
And he's going to be calling the game for NBC
this weekend, so that's gonna be fun. I think some
of that has to do with maybe he uh, I
don't know, Maybe he wants to be in the crank
shuttle and he has got an invite from Bezos. Yet
good point. Who wouldn't want to be in the crank shuttle?
And it's a it's a very fair point. By the way,
(09:46):
not to air out lead to lap. All those fields
are great to air out lead to lap. He was
telling me a story that he was at a bar
and unable to get Amazon Prime on the television and
and apparently that bar was at a a Whole Foods
lee Is that correct? The food the thought was, you know,
the Whole Foods is owned by Amazon, they would have
(10:09):
the Amazon Prime package. I had been there before, they
had had it. They Unfortunately, the bartenders who work at
the Amazon bar, or excuse me, the Whole Foods bar,
aren't real bartenders or do they know how to to
work the TVs. So secondly, did you go to Whole
Foods thinking like they were gonna have you run of
the mill bartender that's gonna be able to serve you
(10:30):
and all that. You know, The funny thing is that
I've gone there before because they're not going running the
mill bartender. They actually accidentally poor heavy. You get good
deals there. I don't doubt that, Like there's always gonna
be some heavy poor I mean, look, I think good
bartenders who have regulars they give heavy poor. Yes, yeah,
they understand where the tips coming from. But I'm just saying, like,
(10:51):
you can't go to Whole Foods and expect to have
a great bartending. I didn't necessarily go there for the bartending.
I went there there. Yeah, Amazon Prime they have good
TVs good, good deal. So that's where you counssume your
Thursday night football. And it was a one time thing.
I missed a quarter and I had to bail out
(11:12):
on it. By the way, I'd rather drink in a
laundry map than whole food. And we decided to go
there for Thursday. Would you have gone back had the
service been better? If they had the TVs on? Yes? Yes,
I possibly to come gun back? They would that? Would that?
Would that be your your Thursday night spots to watch
Thursday football? It's no. Every once in a while I
wanted a nice quiet time. I didn't feel like going
(11:35):
to the rowdy bar. Why, I mean, why you're ridicule
in him? I mean, I know when I lived on
the East Coast, a lot of people used to go
to Wagman's to to watch TV and hang out eat food.
What the hell's Wagman's. It's like they sell food. It's
a grocery store. Until hang out at a grocery sort
(11:58):
of watch games, yes, stunt drink bear, watch TV. Yes.
I've actually had some good times here. Yeah, they lots
of good Okay. I remember living in the South and
Piggy Wiggily was a supermarket. I can assure you that's
the last place I wanted to go to watch a game,
(12:19):
even if a game was available at Piggy Wiggly. Who
wants to go to a supermarket or or Whole Foods
to watch a football game and sit at the bar?
Come on, don't you want to go to a real
man If they have if they have a ball, if
they have a place where you could drink bear and
spirits in a grocery store, there are a lot of
dudes that would be in their sitting down um part
(12:42):
taking Yeah, I got a better idea. How about you
go to a seven eleven by a forty and sitting
watch on your phone out in the parking lot. That
sounds you're really encouraging people to do the right thing. Joey,
why weren't the TVs on the well? The bartender couldn't
figure out how to get to Amazon Prime. I don't
understand it was the Whole food is part of Amazon.
(13:03):
Why there they should be just streaming like stuff on
Amazon Prime the whole time, right or No? They typically
got you know, your your sports stations on and you
could catch most games. Amazon Prime was a little over
their heads. The only one there. No, there's tons of
people there. Oh, there were tons of people. I mean
(13:24):
obviously shopping for food with tons of I'd say there
was about three people there to watch games, maybe tops.
So when you looked around, were you the weirding yourself?
You're not doing yourself any no justice lead just leave
it alone, don't don't match. Were you the weirdest one?
There is the weirdest one? Not at all, not in
(13:47):
the whole grocery store watching the game. It's no, not
at all. It's it's weird because, yeah, it is weird
to see people they're just like kind of eating their
food at the Whole Foods. I think it's weird, but
I'm telling you you get some good deals. Oh man,
for Whole Foods. Good. Well, you get like a whole
(14:08):
meal and a beer for like twelve bucks about like
the hot food of course you can you can do that.
You can bring your food from the hot bar. No,
I'm they have like a whole kind of restaurant deal
and the chicken be good. Yeah, banging it is, Yeah, dude.
Best wing deal at the Whole Foods. They give you
a pound of wings for like twelve bucks and a
(14:28):
beer their chicken be banging cool. I'd rather eat it
a morgue. I'm not interested in going the whole food
are negative? I could like eating is a natural haters
who wants to eat and whole foods like good, good food? Okay,
I get it, take it home, like take it somewhere.
I'll go to your car. You got to take it home?
What if you want to eat it there? Yeah? Exactly.
(14:53):
They have sushi there, pizzas and stuff. You want to
hear something worse across the street? Ween or Schnitzel. Get
some Winer Brew. They got a big screen TV. Is
this someone in Burbankley? Yes? Oh god, come on Lee,
you see Weiner Schnitzel. Yeah, you know they got Madelo
(15:13):
and Weiner Brew on undraft. What is Winner Brew? It's
like their home their homebrews homebrew. You don't know. How
would I know? That's a hot dog place? Yeah, that's
why I hate hot Yeah who hates hot dogs? Yeah?
(15:33):
What are you telling America? And I just said Petros
come over and basically bash the hot dogs. It's so fine.
No one no one said anything about that. Yeah, scroll dogs?
Petros called him. He called him scrolling dogs. I didn't
call him that. Those Petro's blame him, be honest with you.
The place where we watched the game and shown us
was with me. I actually looked at them. They did
(15:54):
look awful. They liked to very unappetizing. Yeah I didn't.
Oh yeah you you opened the lid and I like
that closer that it looks I couldn't find a burger
or a hot dog when I was asked, so Fie
like you have to go to like different stands and
different deals, and oh, we don't sell that here. You
gotta go over there, and then you gotta walk over here.
(16:16):
I'm like, why can't you just sell the same s
at every single you know, food station like that? That
was kind of weird. Go to Whole Foods and like
thirty bucks, you watch getting tacos and the taco salad
and it was good, you know, I mean, not taco salad, tacos,
hard tacos and yeah, yeah, yeah, Now you're a hard
(16:38):
taco guy. Yeah, I take hard tacos over so tacos
outside on the street. We're let me tell let me that.
I think that says a lot about you if you're
a hard talkover a soft sell guy. Yeah, I like
hard shell. See, don't we know your it cuts like
the top of your mouth sometimes. Well it's also I vneers,
(16:59):
so it's not a good idea. Yeah, you know to
have hard time. Oh my god. Yeah, it's like you
can't eat an apple, you know, you can shooting out glass. Yeah,
I mean it does taste good. You like the crunch,
but I'm just saying you really absolutely love Derrito hard
tacos from Taco Bell. Hold on, hold on, what's the
(17:21):
last time you had one? Um football season? They're gotta
do the salta flavor during during high school football season,
like because sometimes that would be the only place that
still delivered after football games. And so we will order
like those big value packs for the fifth quarter and
the Dorrito hard tacos. Hard shell tacos are bangers. So
(17:45):
that's a real thing that the shell is a dorito banger. Wow.
As if Taco Bell wasn't unhealthy enough, why don't we
go ahead and turn it into bang? Get all that
trans trans back. What's the what's the dipping sauce? Chrisco?
They come with the side of Chrisco. When you buy
one of those Dorrito tacos, that sounds bolting. Yeah, that
(18:08):
was chrisco. By the way, are way better Lord or
way better than what they ended up. I didn't need

One of the hot topics of conversation in the NFL
(19:14):
this offseason. We've got a little bit more clarity on it.
We'll get into that for you here coming up just
a couple of moments from now. Well, I've got clearly
on something. That's Stamps dot Com, the deal that they've

So here's the didn't realize my Michael's off? All right,
so I just blew my voice out for no reason.
We are going to have our picks against the spread
coming up here Stamps and nobody heard you. Basically, Michael's off.
So if a tree fell in the forest and no
(19:56):
one was there to hear it, Paul didn't make a no, no, Yeah,
that's basically just happens. So I just blew out my
voice trying to be funny, and all right, go do
it again? Do it? Now? What did that? Do? Something exactly? Now?
There you go, alright, one more time, one more time.
Definitely gonna make you feel real good. It's gonna make
(20:16):
you feels. Come on, come on, it's not it's not
gonna make you got it? Come on, you got this? Yeah, yeah,
that way felt that one. Have you seen him in studio?
Do it? Yes? I have. It's hilarious. Yeah, it is
funny because he goes and puts his face in the
corner of the wall, and that is true. But we're
(20:39):
spoiling that corner is so disgusting. Yeah, LaVar's big shot corner.
So now so now the truth comes out, that's what
you think it is. I mean I've heard that's why
it's a back So hold on, that's not the wall
(20:59):
you He uses another wall. It's a different part of
the wall. Well, let's we're getting we're getting new digs
here and soon you know, we're gonna let me tell
you something, If anything, my bank shot makes that wall
better because it was already kind of I don't doubt that.
(21:20):
I mean, you're you're adding character to that wall. Yeah something.
By the way, we're gonna have you guys ready to
spread him coming up in about fifteen minutes or now,
some picks against the spread for the wild card weekend
in the NFL. Ready for that. I don't know, man,
I don't like that. I don't like those games you're
talking about. You've been good. I don't like it. Alright.
I heard a stat the other day. I don't know
(21:41):
if you could probably research this for us, but um,
it was you know the spread. I think San Francisco
Seattle is like a nine and a half, and then
obviously Buffalo Miami's like thirteen or some ridiculous now, but wow,
I saw somewhere like over the past twenty years for
spreads that are nine and a half over nine, the
(22:01):
favorites have covered in like all of them. M hm,
well that's just really don't shoot the messenger. Someone had
said that stat to me because I had picked Seattle
taking the night and a half, and I was like, yeah,
that didn't feel good at the time. I just felt
like it was a lot for a playoff game. Can
we buy half points lee in in our picks against
the spread? Now that we're in the playoffs? Can I
like buy a half point if I wanted to? What
(22:24):
are you talking about? I always pay up an honest guy.
Can I buy a half point of somebody spreadsley or what? No,
you cannot thank you appreciate it. Thank you for holding
them accountable. Way, by the way, can I read something
embarrassing here in the air? Alright? I came across this
was a note that I had written to my girlfriend
years ago. I mean you, well before married and all
(22:46):
this way before you get started. Okay, why did you
find this? Why do you have it? Just I found
it in like an old email, and so I just
want to I want to read this to you guys,
because I sent this and I don't know what I
was thinking. All right, So here here's how it goes.
All right, it breaks my heart. I didn't get an
opportunity to say goodbye in person. We certainly have been
(23:06):
on a roller coaster in our nine years together. From
the bottom of my heart, I'm so grateful and appreciative
of the years of support you gave my family and me.
We had our share of both heartbreaking moments and thrilling
game winning dress. Oh never mind, that was Derek Carr's
letter to the Raiter Nation. Sorry about that. That was
Derek Carr's letter to Rater fans. And I apologize. Hey,
I apologize here the corn What are you talking about?
(23:31):
I have ever heard in my entire exist I'm sorry.
I thought that was my writing. That was Derek Carr's
message to Raider Nation. I'm sorry, I got confused. What
do you mean? I got cold? Bert? How are you?
How do you feel? Berto? Give me your feelings on this.
Hit the button? Hit the button? The worst man, Bert?
(23:56):
You know it is a passer. He has every record,
your record book, Come on, Berto records? All right? Can
we After that game against Pittsburgh, I was out there.
Yeah they were too. Hey, here's my only thing I'll
(24:19):
say to you, Berto, because you are our beloved Raider's fan,
you have to admit last year when it was an
absolute crap show, he stood up. He was the one
to speak for the team and helped lead in the playoffs. Like,
at some point, I just I thought the way they
kind of handled all this and this is really more
on Mark Davis than anyone else, Like it didn't have
(24:40):
to be like how it was, you know, I just
I don't know, for a guy who like took a
lot of bullets when they're organizations in disarray, it just
it seemed like they were it was gonna be a
little softer landing instead of just not putting down the
landing gear and just flying that thing into the ground. Yeah,
and he's a good state for the last two games
and said bites to all the ter nations in person. Yeah,
how does that land with you guys? Yeah? But but
(25:01):
here's the thing is, do we know I mean, based
on how it all worked out, maybe they're just like, hey, pal, well,
I just not injure yourself, you know, get out of here,
go clear your mind or something. I don't know. The
way it was made to seem as that. Derek Carr
said it was in the best interest. I think Josh
McDaniel said that in an interview with one of the
broadcasting teams calling a game, that I've been flipped out
(25:23):
like that. That's that would be my bet. If I
was in his shoes and they wanted to go that
direction the last two games, I'd be pissed. I would
be like it might be one of those things where
like when you're saying he doesn't need distraction, he doesn't
want to be you know, just get in fights or
whatever else, and and verbal altercations like no one wants that,
no one needs that. I feel like Josh McDaniels should
(25:45):
have been having the same letter written as well. But
that's just me. That's just me though, like I'm sorry
for this with that also, I mean, both of those
things can be right. Derek car sucked and so didn't Daniel,
and I just want or the other. You don't think
(26:06):
Josh should be coming back? I think he is. I
don't think. I don't think he should. I mean, on
the bags of what he's done, I don't think he
should be coming back. Agree with that they sucked? And
I mean and I don't know, I mean, you can
you can blame you can blame Derek Carr for being
a bad quarterback, right, but that's one position. How are
(26:29):
you gonna talk about the rest of the team, right,
you know what I mean, like the rest of the
team sucked too? How bad has he actually been? I mean,
I'm not saying that day. I don't think anybody. I
don't think anybody's ever said that Derek Carr was a
top eight to ten quarterback, but twelve like top half
of the league for sure. But even if you felt
(26:53):
like he was a problem, it's one position. That team
this year organizationally, they've been a disaster. Okay, so there
you go. But you know I've got a cool logo though,
right Bert, They have a cool logo. That got a
cool arena, too, cool arena for colors like I like
(27:14):
that our uniforms the Death Stars dope, so let me
ice cube. Yeah, they've got ice cube cubes and there
their soft clients. Back when it was at the O
dot co he that place it's called big Time. Oh rats, Yeah,
I told you I saw I saw one in the
alley way the other night. Sewer rat. It was an
(27:38):
alley rat. So I don't know if it was a
seward dude, it was. He was in the alley. He
was he was moving across the alleys. He could protect himself.
He wasn't like the New York rats. Those things are gigantic.
He wasn't they're throwing out. He wasn't like a possum size,
but he was. He could defend himself. I'll tell you that,
(28:01):
or hurt whatever would be in the alleyway. You know,
dog cat, you know other rats. I mean, you know
he could that one could have defended itself. Yeah, yeah,
well so can I can I ask you guys this,
what were you doing at my bad at my bed,
at my bed and I was walking past it? But
(28:23):
but why are you not not an alley like, wasn't I
was walking past. Everything I've done since I've been here
has been generally walking distay. It was just over by
Russian Division Street. I don't know just why because because
of that specific Yeah, he wants to talk about the
Viagra Triangles. That's not I don't think that's where you're
(28:45):
trying to go. I mean, I don't think that that's
I mean, how many other cities have an area called
the Viager Triangle. Well, anybody that's ever partaken in some
of the festivities over there, you can kind of see why.
You know, you walk out of Gibson's. The next thing
you know, you're like, hey, look at all that over there,
and all of a sudden that you know, a lot
going on over there. I'm still sad about Tavern Rush.
(29:07):
I know what a bummer that breaks my heart. Man,
remember Hunt Club back in the day. I had some
great memories there. I would tell you so I almost
fell down the stairs, and I almost fell down the
stairs Tavern Rush. No, it's right across from Gibson's. That's
right all there about Gibson's. I asked my my father
(29:28):
and mother in law for their blessing to to ask
for their daughter's hand in marriage at tavern rush And
I don't think I've ever told you the story on air,
but so my back is to wear like upstairs, were
right on like the like outside like balc in the area,
and my back is to the street. And so my
my current father and mother in law across from me,
(29:48):
you know, we I asked for the current and the
current like my father and mother law. I probably need
to say I should have said father mother law, you're right, yeah, sorry,
but current is funny, but go ahead, yeah, yeah, almost
like I think the future and then that and then that.
So I asked for the blessing, you know, they obviously
say yes, and then we kind of popped, you know,
(30:09):
a champagne bottle, and all that waiter comes over and
next thing, you know, I hear all this hooting and
hollering and like bike bells like ringing, And so I
turned around and my father and father and mother in
law stand up. Look it is like two thousand nude
cyclists of a cycling through that area in Chicago. And
(30:30):
because they want to protest for more bike lanes. And
so there's all I mean when I say nude to
they weren't covering up anything all right, I mean it
was all out there to be seen, and I was like,
I just put my head down and I was like,
damn it. Of course, like this moment ends up being
ruined by a bunch of nude cyclists protesting for bike lanes.
(30:52):
But I don't think it was wrong. It just made
it more memorable. Well. Then, and then there was a
batchelorette party that was at another table, and they all
like came over, like do you They were new to know,
but they all want to see the nude people. So
they all came over like basically our table when we're
looking down and looking around and taking pictures because they
wanted to be they wanted to be near you. Though. Yeah,
(31:12):
I mean, let's just be honest. You know, it wasn't
I trust me. They were definitely there to see the
nude you know, stuff going around, a lot of things
flopping around out there. It's it's nice that you that
you don't acknowledge that, you know, people are just like
crushing over you. But that's cool. I mean, you wouldn't
have wanted to see the new people over my table.
(31:33):
They would have went to somebody else's table. They would
have definitely gone to see this spectacle. I mean, when's
the last time you saw two thousand nude people anywhere?
I would have enjoyed it. I would have enjoyed over
my computer screens. I would have been joning and clowning
so hard and complimenting all of the above, all at
(31:55):
the same time. I would have been like, look at that.
I felt pretty awkward about us. I didn't know how
to react. I would have went into instant commentator mode.
I would have commentated all of them, two thousand people
right on by restaurant. It would have been good. I
would have hoped that would have recorded it. Yeah, yeah, yeah.
(32:16):
I would have listened to the playback on that one. Absolutely,
And it is uh, it's so bad seats, it's two
pros and a cup of Joe Fox Sports Radio. So
we got our picks against the spread coming up here.
But for all the latest from around the world of sports,
this man, I mean, bicycle, tricycle, unicycle, it doesn't matter, Garcia.
(32:38):
I can't remember the last time I wrote a bicycle that.
It's been a while. They went about in the news right,
not clothed nothing. I mean, what would you want to
wind him? Like? Dude, that'd be uncomfortable, isn't it. Yeah,
it sounds uncomfortable. Yes to me. I mean Jonas always
rise with this bike seat off. It's more comfort all
(33:00):
from me. Oh, you may be like standing up while
you're peddling. Paul's always climbing a mountain. I like to
be like a huffy You're a huffy bike rad. I
like to be loaded the ground. Oh wow, Okay, then
all right, Lamar Jackson, everybody, I'm not gonna not gonna
play uh in Sunday's playoff game at Cincinnati. He released
(33:23):
that news on social media, saying that his left knee
quote remains unstable end quote, and that the injury is
more serious than originally believe. Jackson has been out since
week thirteen with a spring knee. Tyler Huntley expected to
start for Baltimore. He is dealing with tendonitis in his
throwing shoulder, but he did practice on Thursday. Light Charges
wide receiver Mike Williams, listened as questionable for Saturday's playoff
(33:43):
game in Jacksonville, didn't practice this week due to a
back injury, but it has been confirmed that he will
be traveling with the team for the game. In the
NBA Celtics beat the Nets in Brooklyn one o nine
to ninety eight. That was Brooklyn's first game since the
Kevin Durant injury, Boston improving to a league best thirty
one and twelve on the season. It was the Heat
over the Box one to one oh two, the Trailblazers
losing home to the Cavaliers one despite Demon Lollard's fifty points.
(34:07):
Mavericks over the Lakers in l A one nineteen one
fifteen and double overtime Luca Dodgers triple double for Dallas points,
fourteen rebounds, thirteen assists. Now back to Brady quinnaar Arrington

audio band. There they are. They're all masked up and
they're excited. So lead the lad before we get into
the picks for wild Card weekend? How do we do
last week? Go ahead and give me the bad news. Well,
it was all very close. So let's look at week eighteen.
We'll go game by game. Titans at Jaguars, Jonas and
(36:19):
LaVar correctly took the points with Tennessee onto Patriots at
Bill's Brady and Jonas, you guys laid the points with Buffalo.
You got that. Everybody correctly picked the Bengals to take
care of the Ravens. Rams at Seahawks Seahawks for minus six. Jonas,
you correctly took the points with Rams. They covered. Uh.
Of course Seahawks won that in overtime by a field goal.
(36:41):
And you also were the only one to pick Detroit
to upset the Packers. Are so excited. Wait wait, Jonas,
Jonas didn't even say cover. He did call the upset
he took Wait wait, wait, say so what does that mean? Jonas?
You went five and oh last week? Wow? Yeah, you
(37:01):
went from under five hundred to over five hundred. And
not only that, you overtook LaVar for second place. You're
still behind, Brady. Brady, you hold the lead, a two
four lead over Jonas and LaVar. You're right behind that
one behind Jonas to end the regular season. That was
pretty good you guys. So so you are the regular
(37:25):
season champion. Brady, Thank you, congratulations you know what you know?
I would like to thank everyone out there. Uh, in
particular my guy LaVar. He's he brought me a lot
of inspiration. Yeah, let's do it all right, we started
(37:46):
off and go in order here rain game, Seahawks at
the Niners on Fox. Niners are nine and a half
point favorite at home. Brady, I've seen it ten Now
I'll go ahead and I'll take the die and half points. Um.
I think San Francisco wins this, but I do think
the rain and maybe some other things will keep this closer.
Everyone's down at the Seahawks all year and Santrancis goes
(38:07):
dominated Seahawks so far. It's hard to beat its team
three times, especially the way they did the first time
they played. So I'll take the points. Lavart. Yeah, I'm
taking the Niners on this one. We're going to cover.
I got a weird feeling about this game. I'll take
the Seahawks. I don't know why. I'll just take Seattle.
(38:27):
Give me those points. Chargers and Jaguars, that's right. Chargers
are two and a half point favorite on the road
at Jacksonville. What do you thinking, Brady, I'm laying the points.
I think this is Brendan Staley and Justin Herbert's time.
Jack's about a great season. But I think the Charges
pass rush is gonna get after Trevor Lawrence. What do
(38:47):
you think of LaVar? Back in bat I'm going with
the Bolts. Bolt up, baby, Dolphins said Bills. Bills thirteen
and a half point favorites at home. Brady, Bills, I mean,
no explanation needed, Bills, God, LaVar, I'm taking They're not
(39:08):
going to beat them more than that. I mean, they're
not gonna They're gonna win, but they're not gonna cover.
I would have taken Miami getting those points if Teddy
Bridgewater hadn't had his hands severed, but unfortunately he's not
even gonna be available it looks like. So I'll go
ahead and I'll take the Buffalo Bills with all those points.
Giants and Vikings. Vikings three point favorites at home against
(39:31):
the Giants, Brady, I'll take the three points. I think
the Giants finished the deal this time around in Minnesota.
They don't just outright cover, they alright win. LaVar, Yeah,
that's one of my upsets for this week as well.
I think the Giants can pull off the win. So
I'll take the Giants on it. I'll take Minnesota Ravens
(39:52):
and Bengals. Bengals nine and a half point favorites at home. Brady,
Bengals land the points already, Toya. I feel about them
right now the of rolling. How about you? LaVar second that?
I second that. Yeah, I'll take the Bengals as well.
Cowboys at Buccaneers. Cowboys two and a half point favorites
at Tampa Bay, Brady taking the points in Tampa. I
(40:13):
got Tampa winning. Give me the Cowboys. End of the
line for Tom Brady and Tampa this year end of
the line for Jonas Knox the Chargers. Fox Sports Radio
