yours next year. Two Pros and a cup of Joe
on a Thursday, Fox Sports Radio. You're listening to Fox
Sports Radio. Oh yeah, man, yeah, kicking ass North Hills Hammer, Hammer,
(00:45):
the doublin Destroyer. God doesn't stop kicking ash here. What
do you mean? No one said that maybe they should
start starting right now? All right, mark the date January.
What are you talking about? Come on, you still venture
in those parts those neck of the woods. Come on now.
(01:05):
It is two pros and a cup of Joe. Fox

way tire buying should be. Hey, we're getting closer to
uh Super Conference Championship weekendship. Who's who's not fired? It's
(01:48):
the fired up for that? Come on bad? Uh. Now,
the big story in the NFL is the health of
Patrick Mahomes. All right, everybody's wondering he's got he's got
this this high ankle sprain, but apparently he heals better
than a lot of people. And Patrick Mahomes talked yesterday
about not only the injury right now, but the one
he's sustained back in twenty nineteen, some differences, and gave
(02:10):
an update on his prognosis moving forward. It's doing good,
you know, a few days of treatment, a few days
of rehab, excited to get on the practice field and
kind of tested out and see where I'm at. But
it's feeling good so far. So the last one it
was a leg that I landed on, so I had
to find ways to throw where I can land and
keep it in the right spot. And this time I'll
have to find ways to be able to push off
and be able to still make the throws the right way. So, uh,
(02:32):
definitely similar in a sense, but obviously different limitations and
stuff that all the work through, all right, So how
we're feeling about it? QB one, How we feeling about it?
All right? This injury is opposed to the last one.
You got some some sports betting books out there that
have taken the line off the board. You can still
get bangles minus one in some spots, but there's some
out there that are looking at it going, yeah, we're
(02:53):
gonna go ahead and and left leave this off the
board until we know for sure what's going to happen
coming up in this game. And so if it was
like there's a lot more optimism about Patrick Mahomes, and
there was a couple of days ago when the injury,
right after the injury first occurred. I think this might
go down as one of the more overblown injuries that
there's been. I mean, I'll be serious. There was never
(03:14):
a doubt he wasn't gonna play. Like for people to
think that, I mean, the line movement would have been huge,
which it never really like was initially. I mean, I'm
saying if Mahomes wasn't playing since that he would be
like a five point favorite. I mean that that's how
drastic it would be. It's never been that. You know,
(03:35):
he played obviously in finished last week's game, which would
lead you to think he's gonna play the following week.
And he has to play. He knows that. So the
bottom line is, I just feel like this whole thing
was so overblown and has been overblown. Will he be limited,
yes he could that be the difference in the game, sure,
But he's playing like the whole time. There's never a
(03:56):
doubt in my mind whether or not he was gonna play,
And I really didn't care or whether or not he practiced.
You know, I I know what Andy Reid said, you
know as far as previously that Holmes is never played
and not practiced that week. But at this point in
time the season, you're walkthroughs mostly like you're not doing
a whole lot out there. You're so deep in the season.
(04:17):
Everyone's just trying to maintain their health, the body and
all that. So I think this has been one of
the more overblown things. It's Thursday. We'll continue to talk
about this tomorrow through the weekend, and Jonas is gonna
blow it up like nothing you've ever heard before the show. Yeah,
but Jonas knock show. I can't use j KS because
(04:38):
it's taken by someone from Eastern on Saturdays. He's gonna
make the biggest deal about it, and it's not that
big of a deal. They listen, they call me the
high ankle sprain hype man. That's what I do. You
got a high ankle sprain, I'll hype it up until
that ankle gets healed. That's what I do here on
this show. Everybody needs a hype man. The reason why
it's a big story is because it sets just storyline.
(05:00):
Then then well, yeah, that's true. I mean it's hard,
it's hard to move beyond the fact that, well, it's
a big story because Jonas wants it to be. But
I'll say this, I'm sure a lot of other people
that are covering it are looking at it as as
a narrative builder. If if Cincinnati were to win, then
it'll ultimately be about the greatness of Joe Burrow and
(05:24):
Patrick Mahomes not being healthy enough to be what he
needed to be in the game, and how Cincinnati has
Kansas City's number if they win the game, it's one.
It's here, it's here. What is it called heroicism or
is that what's called performance by Patrick Mahomes. Heroicism is
a word too right here, rail Yeah, I mean, it's
(05:49):
in the word. I mean, I'm just saying, Okay, well, anyway,
it is very heroic if if Patrick Mahomes is is
able to to get out there and play well enough
for the team to win, and then now that sets
the stage for an even bigger narrative for Patrick Mahomes
heading into the Super Bowl because Patrick Mahomes, literally, which
(06:13):
will be the storyline on one and a half leg legs,
will have been able to take his team yet again
to a Super Bowl. I mean, he is having one
of the most brilliant careers of evening football player ever
to play the game. And so I think that that's
why it's a big deal, because I mean, Patrick Mahomes
(06:37):
is a big deal. Five straight a f C championship.
It's incredible. I mean it is a little reminiscent of
of Brady esque. I mean, I know the Super Bowls
haven't really come with that, right, He's only one one,
but he's he's venturing into territory where it feels like
every single year. If you're someone who's into gambling, you say,
(06:59):
I've been a I'm gonna bet on the Chiefs to
win it all or I'm gonna bet at least the
Chiefs to win the a f C because I know
they'll be there. Um and and look Burrows and back
to back years. Maybe this will be Cincinnati moving forward,
although I do feel like they've they always are going
to have a tough, tough time to the a f
C North. That's just a tough division to get through
and a physical division. But it's it's incredible. It really is.
(07:22):
When you think about what Andy Reid and Patrick Mahomes
and everyone else involved has been a part of the
last five years. Just always make it to the a
f C Championship game. People on the outside have no
idea how difficult that is. I mean, it's it's similar
to when we talk about the Buffalo Bills are going
to four straight Super Bowls. I mean that in and
(07:42):
of itself is ridiculous. I mean they didn't win any,
but you know that that's sometimes how the cookie crumbles.
I just I look at what they've done and think
they're kind of that what could be the next dynasty.
They just need some things to break their way and
also general to see to see where Super pumped up today. Buddy,
(08:02):
I'm just fired up, man. I mean we're right around
the corner from Super Conference Championship weekend. Conference Championship weekend,
why not? I mean it was Super wild Card weekend.
If we're throwing words around, let's just throw it around.
Let's make everything super. We got the Super Bowl after that,
so we've got Super Conference Championship game weekend. We got
super heroic performance by Patrick mahomes on on a blown
(08:24):
out wheel like that, being able to gut through practice
yesterday and to walk through and then be ready to
go for this game. I think this is important stuff.
I think you're downplaying it a little bit too much.
I mean this this could really impact his throwing motion.
You know, I mean, is there is there a particular
leg you would prefer to have a high ankle sprain
on the right handed quarterback, you prefer on your left leg.
(08:48):
You don't want to on your back leg. That's your
push leg, that's when you drive off of. You'd rather
have it on your left leg. I knew somebody at
some point was gonna go, don't want it on your
balance your extra balance leg. Well, this is on the
back leg. So when that wouldn't that increase the uh,
(09:11):
the heroic level of his performance? Seeing uh, seeing this, Yeah,
but I'll say this. You'll see him in warmups moving
around yesterday. Yeah, it's fine, just fine. He was a normal,
little kind of odd jog that he's got. It looks
like it could be limping, but it's kind of what
it always looks like. Okay, can I can? I probably
got a massage, you know, like a legitimate masseuse came
(09:34):
in and rubbed it out, and and then he got
the juices from the gods um and they popped him
and that thing feels good. Okay, can you use the
can you use the tour at all? Prints for this
high ankle sprainer is that more for stuff And like
the shoulder, it's aspirin jonas, that's all it is. It's
(09:57):
it's just it's liquid aspirin. That's all it is. So
the Tortal Angel doesn't mean you can get the risk
you always have. By the way, with using total as,
you can make things worse because your body for a
period of time is going to feel better than it
should and you're not gonna feel potentially if you if
you reinjure it and injure worse than that. So I
(10:18):
don't know. It all depends on the athlete and how
they want to play, what they want to feel. But
it could it's like it's it could remove the inflammation
and and sometimes the biggest the biggest part of healing
from I don't think it's an inflammatory. I think it's
a pain reliever. Right, it is a reliever, but it
also it also subsides the inflammation that you you may
(10:39):
have in the situation that you had, Like, yeah, I
mean it works for that, So it's not it's not. Well,
I don't want to get into being a doctor because
I'm certainly not that. Why not everybody else does it? Yeah,
just go on, go on, Twitter and start tweeting whatever
you wanta. Come on, I don't have the I don't
have that type of ego, you know what I mean, reckless?
Come on, Well some of us do it at our station.
(11:03):
Um listen um for me. I just I think that
as long as they can manage which it looks as
seemingly that they're able to manage the pain of it
um and his tolerance will will be there again him
at him, and I guess it's you're going against Joe Burrow,
(11:23):
so it doesn't really count for much. But I mean,
you gotta say, if he's got the tolerance to be
at seventy eight for this game health wise, that's I'm
taking him probably nine times out of ten over anybody
else I'm taking. Yeah, I'm taking them. I'm taking them.
(11:45):
So if I'm Andy Ree and I'm IF and I'm
the Kansas City Chiefs for one, I think that this
works in their favor, guys, because I know as a defender,
if Q is hurt and that's my QB, you know
what we're thinking. We gotta step up, guys. This is
a step up game, Like let's prepare heart, let's let's
(12:08):
be ready for this because anything and everything can happen
in this game. It's it's a one game season. It's
the game before the Super Bowl. Like you, we got
a defensive player of the Year candidate on our on
our squad, Like, let's go out here, let's show up,
and let's show off. And and that level of of intensity,
(12:28):
that level of focus that the defense is going to
have from staff on down to players, I think it's
gonna be at a high level. And then I'll take
it a step further. I bet you the offensive guys
feel that way as well. Not to say that an
offensive alignment isn't gonna go out of his way to
protect his quarterback to begin with, but we all have this,
like this, this human quality where when you feel like
(12:52):
someone you care about could be in in a situation
of danger, you just have something extra to you and
you're gonna give extra and you're gonna give more and
you're gonna find it because you know what that person
has done for you, and you know what he can
do for you. All we gotta do is do our
part and he's going to get us there. That's Patrick
(13:13):
Mahomes and they had they had that. What's that? That's
that's that is Jonas. You know, That's that's why I
bring my a game as many times as I possibly can,
because I am not going to let the injured Jonas
knocks with the with the vine, you know, the thorn
vine on his arm. I'm not going to described some
(13:34):
some guy did compare him. They had a great cop
I saw that, I saw that. I used to look,
but he backhanded. He backhanded complimented the situation because he
was like, I used to listen to LaVar and Brady,
but now I'm like, man, you know I want to
listen to Jonas, but you don't like us no more.
(13:57):
It's always it's always a good day when somebody when compugate.
Is that somebody says you're like an STD you just
learned to live with them. Yeah, that's always a great
comp He did say that. You know that is by
the way, some of these softies and sports media would
block that person and then complain to Elon Musk and
he's not doing enough about some of these Twitter trolls.
(14:19):
Not play it up, man, not you yeah up? You
know burner account or you like sayredictulous things. We had
all out conversation with really radio deal. He really did
(14:40):
they put up a headline. I was like, that was
not the gist of the conversation. But are you saying
that happens from time to time? Is that what you're
saying that? As I've always said, is we're the ones
that faced the repercussions, and we're the ones that are
here talking. And then we get someone who clips off
like maybe seven words from a seven minute com station
(15:00):
puts us the headline. You're like, no one is smart
enough anymore to actually click the link and listen to
the seven minute conversation, Like we're just we're not there
in society and are too lazy, and they've they've completely
gone past the point of wanting to actually read or
wanting to actually listen to something that's longer than like
(15:22):
I'm just telling you, we're venturing into a world of
no one can read more than like ten words, because
that's all we do is read like a tweet or
a headline. We're like, oh, what, that's what was how
they think? And you're like, no, yeah, but you know what,
then you look forward to audio or to the video
if if if possible, and they cut that into conversation.
(15:42):
Nobody could read anymore. But everybody's a music producer all
of a sudden, because they're doing TikTok videos. Like I
thought MTV died years ago, and now all of a sudden,
TikTok's brought back music videos and it's a bunch of
amateurs out there in front of some like cornhole tournament
doing doing some dance from the eighties. It becomes popular again.
That's the way this world works now, all right. So
(16:03):
we're just trying to set people straight. And that's according
to two pros and the guy who's being compared to
an STD you're on Fox Sports. Yeah, well it's the
one that lasts a while. You're the one that burns.
I don't know that that one lasts a long time,
but the one that lasts a while that I mean, listen,
(16:25):
I've heard reports, you know, I've I've talked to some people.
We've got some friends, they've they've spoken about it. It
is two pros and a cup of Joe. Here Fox
Sports Radio of Oar Brady Quinn Jonas knocks so that
you can hang out with us as always on the
I Heart Radio app. All right, So we're gonna have
the usuals coming up later on. We've got another edition
of incase you missed it. We're also gonna have some
over under speaking of the conference championship games, We're gonna
(16:47):
have some over unders on all of that. It's all
the same old good stuff. Albert Breer is gonna stop by.
He can probably take some victory laps on an NFL
story that he predicted a few weeks ago that looks
like it's playing out. It's all yours as we take
you all the way up until nine am Eastern times,
six o'clock Pacific. But coming up next though, yes you
heard it correct, somebody in the NFL who probably doesn't
(17:09):
deserve a second chance, it looks like they might be
getting it. We'll get into that for you here on
fs are be sure to catch live editions of Two
Pros and a Cup of Joe with Brady Quinn, LaVar
Arrington and Jonas Knocks week days at six am Eastern
three am Pacific on Fox Sports Radio and the I
Heart Radio Two Pros and a Cup of Joe, Fox
(17:30):
Sports Radio, LaVar Arrington, Brady Quinn, Jonas Knocks with you here.
Coming up in just a couple of moments from now,
we do have an update one teams making a decision
that's probably not gonna sit well with a lot of
other people around the league. We will get into that
for you a couple of moments from now, another teammate
a decision not stamps dot Com. They've teamed up with
the post Office, gets you huge mailing and shipping discounts
up to over eighty percent off. It's a New Year
(17:51):
no brainer. Saves serious money with stamps dot Com. Use
code two pros for a four week troal free postage
and a free scale Stamps dot Com code to FROs,
I mean, come on, LaVar, no stamps. We're not getting
any stamps. I think he do it? Do we have
(18:12):
LaVar there? We're having some technical difficulties, all right, So
where we're having some technical difficulties, Um now, I don't listen.
I'm not trying to say that there's any stuff going
on in a in a higher place. It's the last
thing I want to do here. I'm not trying to
go in that direction. But maybe the wires got crossed
with LaVar because we did receive a tweet a few
(18:34):
moments ago from Life Why is he here? Now? Listen
live Thatt Jesus is sent out a tweet. Now I
don't know whether or not that means he's going to
make a pick, because I don't know that there's Yeah,
I don't know that there's a sporting event going on.
But now that I'm seeing that, we do have, you know,
a semi final happening in the Australian Open. Maybe he
(18:55):
sees this as an opportunity to make some people some
money and so he wants to jump in on it.
I'm just saying, like normally, when he sends his tweet out,
that means it picks coming in like the next ten
minutes or so. So I just I think, you know,
maybe be a little nicer to him and he can
probably pick a winner again because normally he's pretty successful
when it comes to making these picks. So that's the
update Live that Jesus has sent out a tweet, and
(19:16):
we will keep you up to speed as to whether
or not we've got a winner picked for for LBJ There,
what do you want? Lee? What are you trying to do?
Trying to throw water around the whole idea of Live
at Jesus. I was just bringing into question whether or
not he's really good with these picks or not. Yeah,
he's been awful lately. I mean, Jonas, not that this
is a direct correlation to you, but how bad were
your picks this past weekend? As bad as they could
(19:39):
possibly be up until one and three this weekend three
and seven for the playoffs. So yeah, and you're gonna
be the one who's communicating Live Bed Jesus picks. And
what do you think that there's a chance Live Bed
Jesus be giving out some losers again? Okay, I I
don't communicate anything For people that are that are new
to this, it's a weird phenomenon. There's a a Twitter
(20:02):
account by the name of li I've Met Jesus, and
he pops on the air from time to time. Back
in the day used to be more frequent, but you know,
obviously the time slots change, is not a lot of
live sports going on, and the lights will go out
in the studio and a piece of paper falls down
to the desk and it's got to pick on it
and I just read the paper. So there's no real communication.
But I do think that, you know, maybe he's identified
(20:24):
something at the Australian Open and feels like this is
an opportunity to make some people some money before Super
Conference Championship weekend. So listen. And by the way, if
you're tennis, this is about as much coverage as you're
gonna get on the radio, all right, So you just
how would you know it's already tennis? I what else
is going on? I'm just saying, doesn't that seem like
(20:45):
you have a little inside info? No, I'm that's my
best guess. It could be there could be a cricket
tournament going on in Bombay. I don't know. I mean,
I like, I don't know, like a horseshoe tournament in Belarus. Um,
I don't know. There could be a bad mitten tournament
in Indonesia. I mean, this is as badmen really big
(21:06):
in Indonesia. I'm not quite sure creaking on this. I'm
not quite sure if if bad Mitten is big anywhere.
To be truthful with you, but you know, it it feels
like pickle ball is kind of kind of dominated. Bad
Man usually had a gentleman tell me, I don't just
say this. He's like he had he had risk surgery.
He's like, well, I play a lot of racket sports,
(21:26):
and I was like, what do you mean. He goes, well,
you know, bad mitten and things of that nature. And
I was like, oh, you must be really rich. I've
never heard anyone tell me like I've got an injury
because I've played so many racket sports throughout my life
like that. I was like, just croquet count as well,
(21:46):
like throw this conversation, so, yeah, like what are so
it would be racketball. I swear to you, I've never
heard of. I think it's only for like the ultra
elite of this country. And I was just like, oh,
if I've never heard of that, it's it's not even like, oh,
pickle ball and all this other stuff everyone else has
heard of. It was there was a sport that I
had never heard of that was some sort of racket sport.
(22:09):
I mean, that's probably an Olympic sport too. Well it
might be nowadays, and we can't get jiu jitsu in
the Olympics, but we can get equestrian. Just think about that.
Who's the real Olympian? There? Is it? The horse point
individual great point? You know, I mean you try having
to jump over something with five legs lee what he got.
(22:29):
There is quite a following of Bedman in Indonesia. By
the way, Indonesian Open the most popular sport. Yeah by far,
isn't really? Yeah, well, I mean, do you really want
to get in the history of this. I don't sure.
It slowly became the number one in the country because
of the migration from some of those who are who
(22:49):
are Chinese who came to Indonesia. Yeah, it's still the
most popular sport for quite some time. It's based on
an article from April. Alright and listen, now we'll take
it that works. What do you have? Same thing? Yeah? Yeah,
same same anyway, I just want to show up the
Google machine pumped out the same thing for you, or
(23:09):
if it was, you know, littered with I don't know,
maybe Jimmy Buffett and his take on Indonesia Badman Dueling
wifis here? Do you guys were on the same page?
I mean I think we're I always wonder how the
search engine, you know, plays a factor into that. There
are some of my search history problicts a lot different
than lead. There are some conflicting reports on how many
(23:31):
m v ps uh Lee Zilia has for the Badminton organization.
What a pun way to work through that, Lee, That's amazing.
But by the way, search history, when you think Lee
has gotten there and Vogue, Margaritaville and Destinies Child videos.
I'm gonna go ahead with that. Well, we'll go with
those top three in least search history. Uh probably if
(23:54):
somebody else who's listening, I tell Lee we're joking and
tell her we're just messing around. It's upset me. Okay,
I'm up by this. It's very upset. I hear you.
This might upset you a little bit more so. Jeff
Saturday is getting a second interview with the Indianapolis Colts
because you know, those eight games weren't enough in which
(24:14):
he went one and seven, And the reports out of
Indianapolis say that Jim Mercy wants to hire him, but
that members of the Colts this according to Josina Anderson
of CBS, that members of the Colts front office don't
really like the idea, but Jim Mercy is all in.
Apparently on on Jeff Saturday, who's getting a second interview.
(24:37):
I think Dan Quinn's also getting a second interview. So
it looks like the Indianapolis Colts are close to making
a decision and we might get Jeff Saturday Part two
coming up next season. If Jim Rcy has his way.
So there's your there's your update on the Indianapolis Colts
coaching Sir, how do you feel about that? J k um?
Why not at this point? Why don't we just roll
(24:59):
with it. Let's just let's just go for part two
and let's piss more people off and have more people
be outraged at Jeff Saturday. Maybe he maybe the problem
was the coaching staff that he had to inherit, and
so he needs to get his own coaching staff together
and then we can do this again. But I thought
after one in seven and just some of the some
of the performances of that team, that we were going
to go ahead and say, hey, gave it a go.
(25:21):
He goes back to TV. Everybody is happy. But apparently
Jeff Saturday might have an opportunity to beat out Dan
Quinn for the coaching job after going one in seven.
How you feel about that? Cute? I guess I got
more questions than in comments here, Like I'm looking at
this going all right? Is this just Jim Orsay being
stubborn because he made this selection during the season. He
(25:42):
wanted Jeff Saturday to be a coach there, even though
it kind of took on a disastrous take and what
they went in the first game and that was it.
They lost everything since. Um, So, either he's trying to
double down or he just he doesn't really take into
account much of what happened well season. I mean, I
don't know either way. It's gonna be tough if your
(26:04):
front office, who has done a good job of building
this roster with guys like Chris Ballard their general manager,
are saying, oh, huh, we don't want to do this. Oh,
I don't know. I don't know, Lee Roberto. What does
Carl Lewis think if Jeff Saturday ends up becoming the
perman head coach. By the way, it was the anniversary
(26:25):
of that the Carl Lewis National Anthem was a few
days ago. Yeah, we had the anniversary. What do you think?
That's just I mean, that's I mean, I'm not trying
to say that he can't be successful. I thought Jim
Mercy was sending Jeff Saturday up for failure as well
(26:49):
as the other coaches and players who were there with
that decision in season. Now we have an entire offseason
and reset. If Saturday is the guy he wants it,
it seems like he's pretty adamant about giving him the job.
I just I think it was a way of skirting
the Rooty rule, which that bothers me. I think he's
going to potentially lose some good people in the front
(27:09):
office who are looking to jump overboard. By the way,
a great movie. Um, So I think it's all I
had in that direction, you know, I mean, at least
if he ends up hiring him. I just I think
if you have a candidate like Dan Quinn who has
got prior coaching experience. You know, he's been great as
a defensive coordinator his entire career pretty much, would you
(27:30):
think you'd give him a long, hard look, especially when
other potential candidates have not even entertained interviewing there like
there have there have been guys have been like, no,
I'm good, I don't I don't want to go to Indiannapolis.
And you've got an opportunity to restart the franchise, like
you can draft a quarterback and just go in that
direction and start from the bottom and and try and
continue on as opposed to retread quarterback after retread quarterback.
(27:53):
Because Andrew Luck decided to retire early and it feels
like he's just gonna roll out Jeff Saturday again that.
I just wonder, are we getting to the to the
point where this is like Al Davis in his final
year as owner of the Raiders, where everyone's saying, hey man,
until he's gone, or maybe Dan Snyder is a more
fair comp Until he's gone, the organization is going to
be stuck in the mud because he just kind of
(28:15):
does things however he wants to do it. He's impulsive,
and everybody just within the organization has to deal with it.
Sounds familiar. I just went viral talking about the same
type of guy. What guy are you talking about? The
owner of the Washington football team? I mean, the commander
went viral? I did. I went viral A virus? You're
(28:38):
going virals? Pretty crazy? Just take it off STDs viral.
You know it all fits together. You know we've really
done it. People really think I'm bitter about Washington, and
I'm It's the wildest thing. I'm not bitter, though, Do
you guys think I'm better? Sometimes? I mean, do you
(28:59):
want to be us with you right now? Be honest? Yes? Really? Yes.
Bitter is a strong word though, Q like bitter makes
it like it runs your life and and it like
impacts you, Like I don't even think about that like
that that that was the fine system for your set up. Yeah,
(29:19):
but if you like, here's the thing though, right, is
it bitter or is it just when you have something
to when you're asked about something, because I never bring
it up. It's when you're asked about it. Well then
I just brought it up now. But it was a comparison.
But it was a comparison, right, Like it's kind of
like a comparison, like there it's and it's a relevant
comparison because they're both owners, right. I mean, I don't know.
(29:40):
I don't read in the bitterness that much. I feel
like it's it's just a part of life, you know. Yeah,
but I don't do bitter. Bitter is like that's harsh,
Like that's that impacts your health, your your your own
personal health when you're bitter, Like that's bitter confessed and
turn into other things like I'm happy to do you know,
but what I'm not motivated by the situation that I
(30:03):
speak up when I talk about it and it doesn't
do anything for me. It doesn't impact my life. I
don't know. I don't think I'm better but that's that's
that's interesting. We'll have to have an offline conversation about
it because I want you guys to help me, because
if I'm really bitter and that's what people say that
I'm bitter, I'm a bitter guy about this, then I
want you guys to help me so that I don't
(30:24):
sound bitter or come across this better. Like should I
kiss his ass and say he's one of the dopes? Dudes? Ever?
Just like what should I say, like make up lies
about how good of a dude he is or how
great the organization is and how well it does? It
just go and it just go all the way in?
Should I say I have no comment about it? Anytime
someone asked me about about the team, which nowadays no
(30:47):
comments kind of dope? It sounds even more powerful. So
from here on out, if somebody asked me about the commanders,
even if you guys asked me, like even if we
have a segment about the commanders, I should say, no,
common you have no comm just never referenced their name.
What you know at Ohio, do they like you can't
use the letter M during Michigan Week? Is that what
(31:09):
it is like? You're not like, but doesn't that come
from a place a bitter Okay, but that's what I'm saying,
go all the way in that. So just like any time,
how can I go all the way into being bitter
if I'm not. I don't feel like I'm just so
set up. I don't feel like I'm a guy. I mean,
and what I'm really going to do this. I'm really
(31:31):
going to do this, and and I can accept that
when I'm really going to do it, Like I told
you guys that story, right, like if people really knew
the origin of I'm really going to do this, like
I am accepting of the dumb s I do sometimes, right,
Like I I get that I'm I'm I'm in touching,
in tune with my feelings. I just I feel like
I'm I'm I'm wrongfully depicted here, like I really do
(31:56):
just play. But but but reality, perception is reality. And
I need you guys to help me because if I
come across as bitter, I think I'm a passionate dude
when I speak like and so when I bring passion,
it may come across as my emotions because it's not
it wasn't a great situation. Yeah, go ahead, what did
you talk about this, because I don't remember us talking
about it. No. So you know, I'm I'm here doing
(32:19):
doing appearances and and I'm I'm doing you know, I
support small businesses and different things. Well, you're in the
area to pay somatic. Yeah, so I'm in the area, right.
So I got interviewed by by media locally and they
were asking and that, and it was you know how
it is when you talked to the Beat reporters, like
(32:39):
I recognized like I was in the trenches with some
of the people that were there, you know, so they
know they know everything. Well they don't know everything, but
they know a lot of They were there covering when
I was going through what I was going through when
I was in my last last days of survival and
in Washington. So you know, it's it's just kind of
one of those things that asked me the questions, I
(33:00):
answered the questions, and you know, Yeahhoo picked it up,
USA Today Wire picked it up. People picked it up well,
because I think that's because everybody's worn out with the
Patrick Mahomes injury update except for this show, and so
so they just wanted something else to talk about. In
the NFL. If you're being asked about it and you're
in the area. I think I'm gonna just say no comment.
But if I say no comment, then I still get
(33:21):
accused of being bitter. Yeah, you can't win. It's like, LaVar,
what do you think about I have no comment on it.
Oh he's bitter? Well, like, that's I don't know, Like
I just bitter. It's such a hard that's a harsh word,
like hey and bitter. I tell you my truth. The
truth is I don't like the owner. I don't I
don't like them, And that's what it is. I mean,
that's not I don't think that's bitter. That's just that's truth.
(33:43):
We all have people we don't like. It's better than
being compared to an STD. I'll tell you that sometimes.

check anything because the lights have all gone out in
the studio here. It has been so long since we
have been visited by the presence of one live bet Jesus,
and so now all of a sudden there's an object
falling out of the sky and it's a piece of
(35:56):
paper coming down onto the desk. Just so people know
this is not some radio bit. We're not farting around
here in the mornings because we're tired of talking about
Patrick mahomes is bum wheel. Just you know, this is
on the up and up. I will read from the
piece of paper the document here. It is this morning,
(36:19):
on the of January that I live met Jesus proclaimed
the pick to be Arena Sabolenka to beat Magda Lenette
at the Australian Open. So there it is. Yeah, I
don't know how much time's left. I believe it's in
the second set. Just went into the second set. Big surprise.
(36:42):
Here are Arena Sabulenka, uh minus thousand to win this one? Right? Seriously? Thousand?
So how does that work for betting experts or excuse me,
non betting experts. Maybe some beginners or people don't understand
how that works. Well, if you bet a thousand dollars,
you want a hundred dollars in return? Who would Who
(37:04):
would like a hundred? Right? I mean who wouldn't like
a hundred bucks? You know, I'm betting a thousand? How
many people have a thousand dollars to risk? What happens?
If you lose this bet? You lose? You lose the
thousand dollars, all right? So I mean if you only
want a dollar, bet ten dollars, all right, everybody's got
ten dollars? Does not set at all? How about that? Okay?
(37:24):
Well twelve, I'm just I'm reading what's on the piece
of paper. So congratulations Lee. That Jonas just didn't refresh
his page and actually might have manipulated that line a
little bit. Refresh anything LI saw me. There was a
piece of paper that fell down on this desperate the
sky that we got this does a love bet Jesus
(37:47):
live on the floor above you? Like? Where where does
lab bet Jesus live? I don't know, but you know
what he live in in in fox bet or bet
or draft Kings or wherever heaven? Where where does he?
Where does he live? I don't know, but you know
what I do know? Well, you know, I do know this.
Sometimes he can't get to everything in the world of
(38:08):
sports or entertainment. Good thing, the guys are here to
bring you. You missed it, I lead to laugh, our
executive producer, What do we gut? Guys? Somehow, some way
l s U has overpaid Brian Kelly by a million dollars,
But according to a release from Louisiana Legislative Audit, l
s U and Kelly have enacted an adjustment payment schedule,
(38:30):
so the amount of overpayment will be recouped by the
conclusion of the fiscal year. Some honesty from Brian Kelly.
That's good. I think it's louis has a public entity,
so they're able to find out about this accounting mistake,
which is really what it was. And I think Brian
Kelly's team is gonna make good with them, so he
(38:51):
gets like a million less this year or something. Yeah,
well he's not a skuy. I mean, that's that's Brian
Kelly and he ain't done winning year. Fox Sports Radio
