be out six months? And what are the Niners do
moving forward? There's some speculation know Vic Fangio was rumored
to be going to the Miami Dolphins, like that was
reportedly a done deal. Well, apparently it's not quite a
done deal. Brady's guy, Mike Silber, longtime NFL reporter, is

reporting that it was the field and his office wasn't
cleaned up, and he wants to ratify as contract, that
Vic Fangio hasn't made a decision yet and that there
is mutual interest between our mutual respect rather between Vic
Fangio and Kyle Shanahan. So Damiko Ryan's does take this

Texans job, which a lot of people expect him to do.
Maybe Vic Fangio finds himself in a little bit of
a bidding war with Kyle Shanahan and Kyle Shanahan's former
assistant Mike mc daniel, and now maybe he decides on
the Dolphins and the forty Niners. So there could be
some potential out there for Vick Fangio. A little pies
on passion in either the Bay Area or in South Beach.

There Brady Quinn well, I was gonna ask LaVar if
you had your pick, which would you take between those teams?
Fran Yeah, better defense, better, I mean obviously I take
San Fran better person. Now. I just keep thinking about,
you know, living in San Fran. I mean, if we're

talking living and we're talking taxes and all that stuff,
I definitely like like Miami, but I just keep thinking
about my last times there, and just you know, some
of the issues. Think about winning too, though. What issues
are you talking about? I don't know what issues. It's
gonna be telling to be careful and tell me and
he's gotta be careful. When you walk down the sidewalk.

Sometimes there's uh stuff on the side woman, human feces
sitting right there if you walk down the side of
if you walk one looks like someone dropped a chocolate
ice cream code. If you those garlic fries at the
baseball games there, Giants game, they got this garlic front.

So I don't think this individual did that join us
with that any sort of a game. I think they
may got those garlic fries out of a dumpster. If
you walk down the streets of San Francisco and just yelled, junkie,
people would turn around. It is it is. It is
what it is. It's the truth. There's are cold blooded

downtown San Francisco. But the stadium is nowhere near downtown,
right lee By stadiums are ways away from that's in
Santa Clara, which is so you know, maybe Fangio looks
and says, I'll just look close to the stadium, you know, go,
you know, be in San Jose. I don't think they
practiced there though, their facilities right there in the um.

So you buying into this though that that potentially Vic
Fangio And also how about Vic Fangio being a defensive
coordinator who finds himself another bidding war. This happened a
few years ago where the Packers were trying to hire
him and then the Bears had to pay a significant
amount to try and keep him in Chicago and make
sure he stayed there. And I feel like Fangio probably

now that we look back and have a year of
evidence with Denver, now that they've got quote unquote a quarterback,
you kind of have a little bit more respect about
what Vic Fangio was able to do in Denver. I
feel like all people are starting to look differently at
his time in Denver and also a well respected guy
for a lot of years as a d C man.
If I was a coordinator, I would try to sign

one year deals everywhere I went, because otherwise, once you
get locked in, like let's say you have a great
year and there's an opening somewhere else and someone really
wants you to come coach there, you can't get out.
You cannot get out of your car unless that head
coach that's over top of you let's you. And and
people may be saying, well, no one's ever going to
agree to a one year deal right with a coach,

But that's the only way you can truly try to
like exercise your leverage in the market place. But these,
I mean these coordinators get paid a ton. I would
be curious to know what he's gonna sign for because
I was absolutely blown away by the fact that Greg
Rome was getting three and a half million dollars that's
for that's crazy. As a coordinator, I didn't think people

were getting paid that much these days. I mean, I
think Lavarnies to start making a push for I'm just
saying that you just have reach out to Jeff Saturday.
I hope he gets that that Colts job, given that
staff trying to step into that situation. Did Fanchio get
bro you step in that situation for a year or two,
I mean, you're getting paid well and then you're getting

you know, your seventh afterwards, little severance. Sometimes it pays
to be the fall guy that. I mean, everybody needs one. Well,
I'm not gonna go that far. That's what that's I mean,
that's what he sold us. Yeah, everybody needs a right,
there's no way this is correct. Did fan Fangio's contract

with the Denver Broncos four years, sixty one million as
a head coach? Yeah, there's no way that's right correct.
I can't imagine he was getting. Yeah, Honestly, I don't know,
because I think for some yeah, for some head coaches,
as far as what they get paid, like that's we

don't ever really know. But yeah, there's I mean it
could be. Yeah. I mean look at Sean Payne's looking.
Bill Belichick supposedly makes roun twenty or whatever that number is.
I mean college coaches make that. Doesn't doesn't say let's
make it ten now like like good, good, good college
head coaches are making ten million. The elites are making

above that, right, um like like that bow, I don't
think they're making much more than that. Yeah, not mutt,
but but around the twelve to fifteen mark, right, I
don't think they make fifteen. I think they make like
the highest SPA's probably make around then maybe twelve. Yeah, okay, yeah,

so it's uh so Fangio is looking right now. We're
waiting to see whether or not he takes the Dolphins
gig or if he goes to San Francisco. But either way,
it's going to be a major upgrade for Miami. And
then if you're if you're the Niners and you go
from Robert Sala to Damiko Ryan's and then back to
Vic Fangio, who was in San Francisco years ago with
Jim Harbaugh, you gotta feel like San France in a

good spot, so you would take the Niner job over
the Dolphins gig. Even point seven million is what saving
makes Kirby smarter than eleven point to five. It's not bad,
that's not ten point five, but yeah, and that's your
top tier college coaches. What about what about why my

the pitch he makes like nine or ten. Yeah, I

he's just he's really into delivering things. So I would
probably have him doing like voiceover voiceover motivation you know
where we pipe it into you know, the locker room

that be his role motivational reads. How long would the
clips be, you know, thirty seconds to a minute. So
I would just because we want to use them in
our hype videos that we would put on social media.
You know, you got to be all about the hype

videos these days, you know, so we put them on
social media. So you'd be like, you would be the voice.
I would make you the voice of our team. Read
lions from the program, kill them all at the paramedic
short of the stuff like that. Yeah, try and get
the defense fired up. Yeah, because you know, we wouldn't
want to put you in a position where we can't

maximize and optimize your talent level. Could he Can he
wear whatever he wants because I feel like Jonas has
a very particular outfit. Anywheres pretty at all we would
have to take and we would have to do the
variation of what our color pattern would be and make

it black and make get so that, you know, Jonas
is comfortable with true or not and and and Liam
Burna can get cass on this. He basically just wears
all black. I mean, he's got gray on today, but
that's only to break up the rest of the black.
You know. Yeah, he generally wears black, and when he's

is trying to do is not allow us to green
room it, like he doesn't want any of the conversation

if he's a head coach next year in the NFL.
I think he's going back to TV and he's going
to try this whole thing out again next year. Because look,

was out there that Fangio was his hand picked defensive
coordinator that he was looking at Fangio saying that's gonna

be my guy and whatever all star staff I put together,

be the most intriguing out of all of them because
there's not a whole lot of attention on them either.
Well there's a reason why, I mean, good something sometimes
that's a good thing. I don't doubt that. Sometimes that's
a good thing to walk into a scenario where you

actually have players and if you don't have all that
attention on you, you actually can organize your team and
structure your team and then figure out exactly what it
is that you need. You know this for certain, you
need a quarterback and and they're going to support you
and getting a quarterback. So to me, I think that
that's that's appealing to go to a franchise. Again, why

I think that it would be interesting for Demiko to
go to Houston, It's because you know, they need to
get a quarterback, and you're going to get a quarterback,
and and it positions well with them being number two
overall in the drafts draft order. That makes it attractive,
but it also makes it stressful because they have a
lot of spotlight and microscope on them because of things

that have happened in the past. Atlanta doesn't have all
that confusion going on. They just need to build a team.
And that's something that I think. What if I'm looking
at the teams that are out there, that would be
attractive to me, it's a nice spot to live. You
got you got a lot of things going for you
if you're able to win in Atlanta. But but they're

not hiring. I mean I was talking Fangio talk to
them about the d C job. I was about to say, yeah,
I thought they were I was. I was about to
Smith's Arthur Smiths coming back for another year. I was
about to say, why, why, why are we throwing Atlanta
because that was one of the other the other spots
that Fangio started. Maybe they Arthur Smith out if Sean

Pai wants to come in. So they weren't the greatest
of teams this year, but they have a ton of potential.
Nobody's really talking about them, So we feel like there's
why we could. We could move on like two minutes ago.

now you just gotta figure out how to get the

a very very strong foreshadowing of what you're going to
have to deal with. I think it definitely plays a part.
Office is still there, Like I think when the new
ownership got there and after this season, they come in

in your in your contract? What if it's in his
contract to have an office? I take that crap out.
I'd be like, look, let's renegotiate this, all right, I'm
gonna give you nothing extra and I'm gonna take away
your office because this is dumb. And then I don't
know who agreed to this, but we're not doing this.
So why wouldn't you just have a conversation with Russell
Wilson and say, hey, look, I don't like you. I

can't win with you. Or you figure out a way
of just making that office useless, right like you're like,
all right, you want to keep that office, keep that office.
Here's what we're gonna do. Um, we just put in
a new open doorspace, but we're gonna have to blow
through one of the walls that happens to be your office.

Christmas orchestra and it was all of the city schools

that were there, and there was a school on the
first floor. We were on the second floor. It was
school on the first floor that we didn't like. It
was it was I don't even want to say the
name of the school because that might turn into a
racial thing, but um, it was one of them schools
that we didn't like. And we were right next to
each other, and they were our only lost during basketball season. Um,

the year prior and and and so, No, it wasn't
the year prior we had lost to them. We had
lost to them that year. We had lost to them
earlier that year. Yeah, that's what it was. So anyway,
we're sitting there and I just happened to have a
degenerate homeboy that had a whole pocket full of stink bombs.

And we're sitting there and we're joking around on and
we're messing around, and I'm playing with the stink bomb
and I juggled it and I fumbled it and I
dropped it a little glassy. They you know, they like
they break. You dropped them, they break, right, So I
dropped it over like over the banister, like because I
was joking around, like, man, I should drop this and

break it. And while I'm joking around saying I should
drop it to break it, I actually dropped it and
it actually broke. So in the middle of them singing
their song, you're hearing all these kids down they're like bad,
like over the music like that. These people are like
we're at a performing arts rotten eggs. It's like rotten eggs.

But next thing you know, you start seeing the whole
entire audience just saying everybody like all this chatter, like
everybody was and and like, uh, like it was just
it created a total like it was bad. It was
really bet They're awful, man, it was bet like it.

We're in the middle of a live show, like like
the bend of them is like high class and I
broke a stinkball and that might be my first guilty
admission of that happening. By the way, it's only a
few it's a few years later. Well, I hope, I
hope the statue of limitations have have run out, Like

break that stink bomb that day in Pennsylvania. It was

going and showing out at the Senior Bowl and showing
everyone how much better you've gotten over the course of
the past couple of seasons. Could have been worse, could
have been tackled by cops like Baker Mayfield's that well,
he would have gotten tackered Stetsins a little more fleet
of foot. Come on, I say he's more elusive. Do
you think Stetson, Yes, he can, he can scoot. I

have some potentially surgery or not surgery minimum, who's gonna
be out six months? And what are the Niners do
moving forward? There's some speculation know Vic Fangio was rumored
to be going to the Miami Dolphins, like that was
reportedly a done deal. Well, apparently it's not quite a
done deal. Brady's guy, Mike Silber, longtime NFL reporter, is

reporting that it was the field and his office wasn't
cleaned up, and he wants to ratify as contract, that
Vic Fangio hasn't made a decision yet and that there
is mutual interest between our mutual respect rather between Vic
Fangio and Kyle Shanahan. So Damiko Ryan's does take this
(05:42):
Texans job, which a lot of people expect him to do.
Maybe Vic Fangio finds himself in a little bit of
a bidding war with Kyle Shanahan and Kyle Shanahan's former
assistant Mike mc daniel, and now maybe he decides on
the Dolphins and the forty Niners. So there could be
some potential out there for Vick Fangio. A little pies
on passion in either the Bay Area or in South Beach.
(06:02):
There Brady Quinn well, I was gonna ask LaVar if
you had your pick, which would you take between those teams?
Fran Yeah, better defense, better, I mean obviously I take
San Fran better person. Now. I just keep thinking about,
you know, living in San Fran. I mean, if we're

talking living and we're talking taxes and all that stuff,
I definitely like like Miami, but I just keep thinking
about my last times there, and just you know, some
of the issues. Think about winning too, though. What issues
are you talking about? I don't know what issues. It's
gonna be telling to be careful and tell me and
he's gotta be careful. When you walk down the sidewalk.
(06:45):
Sometimes there's uh stuff on the side woman, human feces
sitting right there if you walk down the side of
if you walk one looks like someone dropped a chocolate
ice cream code. If you those garlic fries at the
baseball games there, Giants game, they got this garlic front.

So I don't think this individual did that join us
with that any sort of a game. I think they
may got those garlic fries out of a dumpster. If
you walk down the streets of San Francisco and just yelled, junkie,
people would turn around. It is it is. It is
what it is. It's the truth. There's are cold blooded
when it comes to that people that are displaced. That's

a okay, that's a rough way to go in in
downtown San Francisco. But the stadium is nowhere near downtown,
right lee By stadiums are ways away from that's in
Santa Clara, which is so you know, maybe Fangio looks
and says, I'll just look close to the stadium, you know, go,
you know, be in San Jose. I don't think they
practiced there though, their facilities right there in the um.

So you buying into this though that that potentially Vic
Fangio And also how about Vic Fangio being a defensive
coordinator who finds himself another bidding war. This happened a
few years ago where the Packers were trying to hire
him and then the Bears had to pay a significant
amount to try and keep him in Chicago and make
sure he stayed there. And I feel like Fangio probably
(08:12):
now that we look back and have a year of
evidence with Denver, now that they've got quote unquote a quarterback,
you kind of have a little bit more respect about
what Vic Fangio was able to do in Denver. I
feel like all people are starting to look differently at
his time in Denver and also a well respected guy
for a lot of years as a d C man.
If I was a coordinator, I would try to sign
(08:33):
one year deals everywhere I went, because otherwise, once you
get locked in, like let's say you have a great
year and there's an opening somewhere else and someone really
wants you to come coach there, you can't get out.
You cannot get out of your car unless that head
coach that's over top of you let's you. And and
people may be saying, well, no one's ever going to
agree to a one year deal right with a coach,
(08:55):
But that's the only way you can truly try to
like exercise your leverage in the market place. But these,
I mean these coordinators get paid a ton. I would
be curious to know what he's gonna sign for because
I was absolutely blown away by the fact that Greg
Rome was getting three and a half million dollars that's
for that's crazy. As a coordinator, I didn't think people
(09:17):
were getting paid that much these days. I mean, I
think Lavarnies to start making a push for I'm just
saying that you just have reach out to Jeff Saturday.
I hope he gets that that Colts job, given that
staff trying to step into that situation. Did Fanchio get
bro you step in that situation for a year or two,
I mean, you're getting paid well and then you're getting
(09:39):
you know, your seventh afterwards, little severance. Sometimes it pays
to be the fall guy that. I mean, everybody needs one. Well,
I'm not gonna go that far. That's what that's I mean,
that's what he sold us. Yeah, everybody needs a right,
there's no way this is correct. Did fan Fangio's contract
(09:59):
with the Denver Broncos four years, sixty one million as
a head coach? Yeah, there's no way that's right correct.
I can't imagine he was getting. Yeah, Honestly, I don't know,
because I think for some yeah, for some head coaches,
as far as what they get paid, like that's we

don't ever really know. But yeah, there's I mean it
could be. Yeah. I mean look at Sean Payne's looking.
Bill Belichick supposedly makes roun twenty or whatever that number is.
I mean college coaches make that. Doesn't doesn't say let's
make it ten now like like good, good, good college
head coaches are making ten million. The elites are making

above that, right, um like like that bow, I don't
think they're making much more than that. Yeah, not mutt,
but but around the twelve to fifteen mark, right, I
don't think they make fifteen. I think they make like
the highest SPA's probably make around then maybe twelve. Yeah, okay, yeah,

so it's uh so Fangio is looking right now. We're
waiting to see whether or not he takes the Dolphins
gig or if he goes to San Francisco. But either way,
it's going to be a major upgrade for Miami. And
then if you're if you're the Niners and you go
from Robert Sala to Damiko Ryan's and then back to
Vic Fangio, who was in San Francisco years ago with
Jim Harbaugh, you gotta feel like San France in a
(11:26):
good spot, so you would take the Niner job over
the Dolphins gig. Even point seven million is what saving
makes Kirby smarter than eleven point to five. It's not bad,
that's not ten point five, but yeah, and that's your
top tier college coaches. What about what about why my
why am I drawing to blank? Michigan actually clicked off

the pitch he makes like nine or ten. Yeah, I
was gonna make sure, Yeah, mel Tucker, mel Tucker was
getting nine or ten a year. Which year? Yeah? And
then you've also got uh playoff scenario. If LaVar did
get the head coaching job, would you bring on Jonas
to be at some like some position on your staff? Um? Yeah,

but what what position would that be? I'm just trying
to imagine what Like every social setting I've been in
with with Jonas, it's it's always like, ah, man, in
my head, it was a good idea, but then like
he's just he's not saying much, he's just standing over.
You've got to minimize what Jonas has in front of him.

Jonas is very meticulous, very well thought out, and and
he's just he's really into delivering things. So I would
probably have him doing like voiceover voiceover motivation you know
where we pipe it into you know, the locker room

and stuff like that at certain times during the day
that be his role motivational reads. How long would the
clips be, you know, thirty seconds to a minute. So
I would just because we want to use them in
our hype videos that we would put on social media.
You know, you got to be all about the hype

videos these days, you know, so we put them on
social media. So you'd be like, you would be the voice.
I would make you the voice of our team. Read
lions from the program, kill them all at the paramedic
short of the stuff like that. Yeah, try and get
the defense fired up. Yeah, because you know, we wouldn't
want to put you in a position where we can't

maximize and optimize your talent level. Could he Can he
wear whatever he wants because I feel like Jonas has
a very particular outfit. Anywheres pretty at all we would
have to take and we would have to do the
variation of what our color pattern would be and make

it black and make get so that, you know, Jonas
is comfortable with true or not and and and Liam
Burna can get cass on this. He basically just wears
all black. I mean, he's got gray on today, but
that's only to break up the rest of the black.
You know. Yeah, he generally wears black, and when he's
in public, he definitely has black on. Joey cash Man

is since he's affiliated with an NFL franchise, he couldn't gamble,

is trying to do is not allow us to green
room it, like he doesn't want any of the conversation
before the show's potentially impact the on the spot live entertainment. Fact.
I actually love I love the thought process behind this.
I do read jails emails though, so that I'm ready

from time to time, and he sometimes will answer. Sometimes
we'll get back, it depends, but it's pretty much only
to give him a hard time, which he doesn't appreciate.
Like you know, it's like I really am just calling

next five to ten minutes it's going to be the
worst I feel all day. Like that's so there's that,
It's like it's like staring. It's like staring at, you know,

and then you just move on to the next day

be the most intriguing out of all of them because
there's not a whole lot of attention on them either.
Well there's a reason why, I mean, good something sometimes
that's a good thing. I don't doubt that. Sometimes that's
a good thing to walk into a scenario where you

actually have players and if you don't have all that
attention on you, you actually can organize your team and
structure your team and then figure out exactly what it
is that you need. You know this for certain, you
need a quarterback and and they're going to support you
and getting a quarterback. So to me, I think that
that's that's appealing to go to a franchise. Again, why

I think that it would be interesting for Demiko to
go to Houston, It's because you know, they need to
get a quarterback, and you're going to get a quarterback,
and and it positions well with them being number two
overall in the drafts draft order. That makes it attractive,
but it also makes it stressful because they have a
lot of spotlight and microscope on them because of things
(27:18):
that have happened in the past. Atlanta doesn't have all
that confusion going on. They just need to build a team.
And that's something that I think. What if I'm looking
at the teams that are out there, that would be
attractive to me, it's a nice spot to live. You
got you got a lot of things going for you
if you're able to win in Atlanta. But but they're
(27:39):
not hiring. I mean I was talking Fangio talk to
them about the d C job. I was about to say, yeah,
I thought they were I was. I was about to
Smith's Arthur Smiths coming back for another year. I was
about to say, why, why, why are we throwing Atlanta
because that was one of the other the other spots
that Fangio started. Maybe they Arthur Smith out if Sean

Pai wants to come in. So they weren't the greatest
of teams this year, but they have a ton of potential.
Nobody's really talking about them, So we feel like there's

You've got a roster that's built. I think to win
now you just gotta figure out how to get the
most out of Russ. But maybe do you do you
honestly think it's the office thing? I mean, do you
honestly think in there like I think it gives you

a very very strong foreshadowing of what you're going to
have to deal with. I think it definitely plays a part.
Office is still there, Like I think when the new
ownership got there and after this season, they come in
there like, all right, you're you're you're going downstairs in
the mill. But what if what if what if it's

in your in your contract? What if it's in his
contract to have an office? I take that crap out.
I'd be like, look, let's renegotiate this, all right, I'm
gonna give you nothing extra and I'm gonna take away
your office because this is dumb. And then I don't
know who agreed to this, but we're not doing this.
So why wouldn't you just have a conversation with Russell
Wilson and say, hey, look, I don't like you. I

can't win with you. Or you figure out a way
of just making that office useless, right like you're like,
all right, you want to keep that office, keep that office.
Here's what we're gonna do. Um, we just put in
a new open doorspace, but we're gonna have to blow

the year prior we had lost to them. We had
lost to them that year. We had lost to them
earlier that year. Yeah, that's what it was. So anyway,
we're sitting there and I just happened to have a
degenerate homeboy that had a whole pocket full of stink bombs.

And we're sitting there and we're joking around on and
we're messing around, and I'm playing with the stink bomb
and I juggled it and I fumbled it and I
dropped it a little glassy. They you know, they like
they break. You dropped them, they break, right, So I
dropped it over like over the banister, like because I
was joking around, like, man, I should drop this and

break it. And while I'm joking around saying I should
drop it to break it, I actually dropped it and
it actually broke. So in the middle of them singing
their song, you're hearing all these kids down they're like bad,
like over the music like that. These people are like
we're at a performing arts rotten eggs. It's like rotten eggs.

But next thing you know, you start seeing the whole
entire audience just saying everybody like all this chatter, like
everybody was and and like, uh, like it was just
it created a total like it was bad. It was
really bet They're awful, man, it was bet like it.

We're in the middle of a live show, like like
the bend of them is like high class and I
broke a stinkball and that might be my first guilty
admission of that happening. By the way, it's only a
few it's a few years later. Well, I hope, I
hope the statue of limitations have have run out, Like

break that stink bomb that day in Pennsylvania. It was

hammer the kid. There's obviously worse things that are done
out there than getting too drunk in public. But this

probably even more so when you take into account you
know what he should have been doing instead, which is

going and showing out at the Senior Bowl and showing
everyone how much better you've gotten over the course of
the past couple of seasons. Could have been worse, could
have been tackled by cops like Baker Mayfield's that well,
he would have gotten tackered Stetsins a little more fleet
of foot. Come on, I say he's more elusive. Do
you think Stetson, Yes, he can, he can scoot. I
