tire buying should be. So we talked about it yesterday.
It felt like it was a formality, it was only
(01:54):
a matter of time, and that's exactly what happened. Because
Damiko Ryan's is the brand new head code of the
Houston Texans. Uh, not a surprise, but he does get
that longer commitment these six years that you guys were
talking about it, you just hope that he's going to
get a little bit more of a commitment from the Texans.
And they've given their previous two head coaches, so Damiko
Ryan's former Houston Texans, former All pro with the Texans
(02:17):
now takes over the job. They've got the number two
overall picking the draft. A lot of feelings that they
might move up to number one to try and get
the quarterback of their choosing, but nonetheless it's a brand
new era of Texans football for the third straight year,
how about it. I'm hoping that we're not have the
same conversation next year, you know, for for Demiko's sake
(02:38):
and hopefully you got that reassurance from the team. But um, look,
he's one of the bright young defensive minds. He seems
like a great leader of men. It seems like, you know,
this is what you need. His personality, his style, his persona,
whatever you wanna call it. It feels like that's what
he's got and it's perfect for this era of football.
So those are all the good things. But it's it's
(02:59):
not so much been about the head coach because I
don't know that anyone's got a fair shot, whether it
was David Coley or Love Smith or now Damiko. Ryan's
You've gotta give him three or four years. Like this
roster needs a lot of retooling. They're they're gonna draft
a quarterback. It just depends on whether stay at two
or go to one, which I think if if if
you're the Houston Texans, you're doing all you can to
(03:22):
figure out what Chicago is thinking, of what Indianapolis is thinking.
I mean Indianapolis first needs a higher end coach and
they can worry about their their draft and all that.
But I don't know that they're looking at Bryce Young
as their quarterback. I think they've got, you know, other
guys that they're looking at, are evaluating. So if that's
the case, you can stay put. You don't have to
give anything up. And and you think that there could
(03:42):
be some strong alabamatized Damigel Ryan's played ball in Alabama.
That's where Bryce Young is coming from. He knows the
coach there. Nick's excuse me, Nikissario, their general manager. He
obviously has ties back to New England who was very
close with Saban given Belichick's tenure there. So all all
signs are leading me to think it's going to be
Bryce Young. But again we'll have to wait and see
(04:05):
how they end up developing all this. And obviously what
Demiko is looking for, you know, out of the draft
of what he wants out of a quarterback, you'd hope
that he factors in all this. You can't fire a
third coach after one year. Again, can you like player
that you drafted? Yeah? Come on, man, it's kind of
on yourself. At some point, you got to give some
(04:25):
people a little bit of room here to work and
the idea that for at first of all, I don't
think Lovey Smith should have been fired. I don't think
David Cole should have been fired. I mean, you could
say whatever you want the ordinary circumstances, David Coley took
over a bag of crap because he had the Deshaun
Watson stuff, and he was brought in there, I think
initially because they wanted to try and see if he
could salvage the relationship, which he couldn't. And then Lovey
(04:48):
Smith came in there with why why you think he
could have salvaged the relationship? What? What? What are you implying? Well,
there there was the thought that there was a lot
of respect there, and fortunately there was no There wasn't
enough for David Coley to be kept around for another year.
I just I would I would find it hard to
believe that the Texans would just go ahead and say
(05:11):
now we're gonna go ahead and start this whole thing
over again. At some point you gotta give some people,
you know, at least two years to try and figure
this thing out. I'll say this, the best thing that
Demiko can do for himself in this scenario is make
sure that this first, this first go around being the
(05:32):
hey coach, is that he he structures what what the
expectations are, He structures what what the plan is moving forward,
and create create that create the infrastructure that will will
show you gotta show that you're putting the infrastructure in place,
(05:53):
because it's not a guarantee that you're going to have
success right out of the gate with the current state
of this team. So with that being said, I think
I think that that's the biggest The biggest thing he's
gonna have to do is show I don't I don't
know who he's gonna hire, but we we often have
(06:14):
the conversation and and while I'm a defensive guy, I
totally agree this is an offensive head coach driven league
now because it's so offensive and and so he's going
to have to bring in someone that that people get
excited about as as a play caller. That's gonna be
(06:35):
the first task. The second task is who are you
going to bring in as your defensive coordinator that you're
most likely going to be the guy where people say, Okay,
Andy Reid calls the plays as the O C, but
you have an O C. You know, uh, we've heard
this a lot of times. Right. The coach that was
in Minnesota, he had a defensive coordinator, but he was
(06:56):
the one that was doing the um, doing the game
planning Mike's and he was calling the game. So we've
we've heard these things plenty of times. He's gonna have
to show that he's able to put that structure in
place and and that they're going to go in the
right direction. I mean, you look at what you know
Doug Peterson has been able to do in Jacksonville, or
(07:17):
what Syrian He's been able to do in Philadelphia. Um,
to me, I think that if he can do that,
and because I think that the player part the player
coach relationship aspect, he's going to have that in spades. Right.
You could tell by the way the guys respond to
him and in San Francisco that he does have that
(07:37):
that quality where guys buy into him. He's a leader
of men. But it takes more than just being a
leader of men, because I would say Collie was the
same type of coach when he was in Baltimore. I'd
say that Lovey Smith and the past has been that
same type of coach that that guys buy into. But
you didn't show something else. There was something else that
was missing there, and it was obvious because the team
(07:59):
was was fair link the team has has has underachieved.
So it'll be interesting to see how he comes in
and puts the structures together verse and and I'm I'm
curious as to will Houston be understanding and open to,
you know, to the idea of this is a process.
Let's start here with putting, uh putting the structures in
(08:23):
place to be able to say, this is the type
of team we want, this is the type of culture
we want. These are the type of players that fit that,
these are the type of coaches that fit that, and
this is what we're gonna need to do moving forward.
And that's going to take a little bit of time.
There twenty seven games under five D the last three years,
but they're awful. And the idea that you're just gonna
(08:44):
pin that on a coach every single year, I mean,
that's at some point, what the hell are we doing here?
Like it just it all. It does all start with
the quarterback. And I think they're in a spot to
where whatever it takes if you've got to outbid Indianapolis
to get the best quarterback in the draft. If you
(09:04):
both feel that it's Bryce Young, you just gotta do
what you gotta do. Otherwise they're just gonna find themselves
in this same cycle over and over again. When things
started to turn around is when they had Deshaun Watson.
They finally got their quarterback, and then the next thing
you know, they're winning playoff games and a legitimate threat
in the a f C. Until you solve that you
can and the interchange as many coaches as you want it,
you're just gonna run into the same issue. Yeah, I
(09:26):
don't know. I'm okay if they don't end up getting
the guy that want, I wouldn't say you necessarily need
to right now. I mean you can set yourself up
to take Kidleb Williams and Drake made the following year.
So I think if look, if if the price is
too high, is to move up one spot and the
Colts are going to offer more, I don't know, you
mortgage everything right now just to do that, And I
(09:48):
think you go get you got to what top fifteen picks.
You go get the two best two players you can.
If you don't feel and by the way, if you
don't like love one of these quarterbacks. Don't put yourself
in the position to take one. Then just because you're,
you know, the first year head coach, first time head coach.
You don't need to go draft a quarterback just because
you're sitting there in the spot to do so. I
(10:09):
mean you're probably gonna be sitting in the spot to
do so the following year, and then you'll be in
striking distance to what is believed to be at least
two guys that would be the top of this year's
class if they're in this year's two and twelve. Those
are the two picks for the Houston Texans. I want,
I forget what Baltimore had when they had the two
first rounds and they took Ogden and they took ray Lewis.
(10:32):
I would assume you want to bring in guys immediately
that are leaders that that are going to be that
have future Hall of Fame pedigree and and what it
is that they are. And while it's totally impossible to
predict who's going to have the type of career that
(10:53):
would lead to you being a Hall of Famer, you
still can look at guys and say, with their resume
in college, that's a grown ass man. And and that's
that's someone that will bring a tremendous amount of value, um,
both on and off the field to to our team.
That's what you need. You gotta have, uh. You gotta
(11:13):
have the thought process of bringing in guys that are
going to uh integrate into the community and in a
very positive manner. You know, we we talked so much
about everything that takes place on the field, but you
you draft a guy like Derek Brooks, you're getting a
guy that understands it. He gets it, and he understood it,
and he got it while he was in college and
(11:35):
you could see it play out a leader of men
of sorts on the football field. You know, you you
get you know, you could throw out guys, you know
from the quarterbacks position. Um, really, you could throw out guys.
There's certain positions, all right. As it might be an
offensive lineman, it might be a defensive lineman. You want
to bring in grown men. You don't want to bring
(11:57):
in a guy that has necessarily the crazy out of
the you know, off the charts athleticism. Man is the
greatest football player talent coming out of college, but there
are question marks surrounding them at this moment. It might
be attractive, it might be a big splash decision. It
(12:20):
most likely will be the wrong decision unless you feel
as though you have what it takes to make sure
that that doesn't rare its ugly head during your time
with that player. At two, you're gonna get either a
quarterback or you're gonna get Jalen Carter or Will Anderson
right So it's like it's it's hard to do wrong
(12:41):
at number two, Like it feels like they're gonna get
somebody who's gonna be an impact player right away, which
is exactly what they need because they have been awful
for for a good chunk of the past three or
four years here. So they're still gonna be at that
second pick. There's there's there's gonna be some quality players
in this draft. Man, there are going to be some
quality guys that you could get and and if you're
(13:04):
able to if you don't want to do that and
you want to try to turn it into more picks
or whatever it may be. Again, I I just think
that you gotta you gotta draft grown men. Like that's
the bottom line. Draft grown men, don't draft, don't draft
no immature dudes, don't don't take no flyers, like take
the short shot. That's what I would advise. I mean,
that's what I would do. I mean, that's kind of
(13:26):
how I do think. Well, you got a pipeline to
Jay Glazer, now, I mean, you guys do draft together.
We do. Let's see what he's thinking here at number two.
Reach out the Glazer. But Glazers too big for me, man, Like,
you know, I don't talk to him time for the show.
You know, I talked to him right as the show
is starting. Well, it sounds like you're too big for
him if you don't talk to him till the show.
That that might be true too, Hall of Favor, that
(13:49):
might be turning it, you know inside out. Yeah, you
might be right there. It's two pros and a couple
of Joe Fox Sport Tradeo, LaVar Arrington, Brady Knocks and
Brady And yeah, that's true. That is true. The great point,
and he has a show great point. By the way,
they don't get enough of them, so they gave him
(14:09):
another show on the weekend. It was Julia popping up
on you. That is a good point or not? It
was Joel Clatt was it was Joel Clatt a little
bit out of shape when he made that comment on
Twitter about him when he was asking people to send
in their questions. And this is Brady for you, all right, This,
this is what he does. Joel Clapp sends out some
tweet that says, you know, send your questions in or
(14:32):
something like that, and Brady writes in and goes, yeah, Joel,
I have a question, what are your thoughts on Jonas
trying to claim that j K Asked is his show
and not your show? And Joel just wrote back something like, oh,
that's cute. So I wasn't chair of Joel. Was you
know Joel a lot better? I wasn't sure if he
was upset about that. I mean, you guys had had
the opportunity in the moment to like hash this out.
(14:53):
You both were sitting at the National Championship game in
a suite together, and you two didn't talk about it.
Is that why he doesn't come on the show anymore?
To come all the time it's not college football season?
Was coming on this college football? Yeah, it's trying to
play me too, because of was it coming on this year?
Because of Yeah, he didn't come on that. It's not
(15:13):
entirely accurate. He came on at times this year, did he?
I don't think he did. I don't recall it, and
I don't think he did. Last year it was Yeah,
it was a year before. I don't think. How long
have we been doing the show? Yeah, I mean that's
Tom flies over a year, you know, a year to
of college football. No, Joe Klatt. I kind of feel
like that might be the reason why they messed it up, Jonus.
(15:36):
I think maybe I got the c tea. Don't worry you.
At least you didn't mess up. You know when my
space started, you know she used it. It's all good? Man?
Is that your most agreed there years ago? Where was
coming on? Yeah? We could work together on this one, man,
I can I can get him to come back on.
I'm not sure exactly why. He probably want to wake
up early, honestly. I mean he mentioned it at at
(15:58):
the game. He said, okay, he's I don't know, he's
I don't know what happened. I like coming on with
you guys, I thought, okay, well, maybe leaders didn't reach out.
Dude didn't look at him and say j K S. Yeah,
but you didn't look at when he said that. So
I tried to get them to talk about it, but
they didn't want to talk. You know, I didn't need to.
Jonas is like in person, at least confrontational person ever.
(16:18):
And then he gets behind a microphone. He starts spouting
off like he's that guy. That's good. I mean, this
is my favorite part. When I'm spoken for. You know,
you got your moment. You go, well, why did you
say anything? Didn't to him about it? I didn't. I
don't care. Oh it is what it is. He's got
his Joe clad show. And then you know, and I've
got on a larger trade market. And then you're gonna
(16:41):
get a cease and assist. You're not gonna be able
to call it the Jakess anymore. I don't have to
pay you got to pay well. I mean some people
would be scared away by that. Some people not me, though.
I'll just continue to call whatever I want to call it,
and then if people got a problem with that, they
can go ahead and they can kiss my ass. That's
how I feel about it. But again, some people handle
(17:02):
things differently here, that's how that works. I'm just trying
to breathe freely in the studio after what just happened
a few minutes ago, So now that would be ten
dollars aggressive. You're trying to change the subject topic matter
just right? It is, how it's horrible? Do you wanna

How did it end up like this? It was all
of your kids. It was all your kids. Now I'm
falling asleep. Okay, yeah, take house. I caught the spirits
Michigan football right here. Yeah, I'll take it all back
(18:55):
and Harbor take it all back. Still no explanation as
to why they do this, But it's this because Mr Brightside,
because it's it's it's crowd participate. It's a crowd participation song.
It's like one of those songs that people can sing together. Well,
I think maybe they can sing it after their head
coach gets punished for buying some kid at cheeseburger and fries.
(19:17):
Oh Man became and he bought the kid what a
cheeseburger at the the Golden Jug or whatever they ca
This is the part where you get the crowd participation
right here. This is what everybody's singing in in the
in the stadium. I could imagine. So they're gonna be
singing it next year against Ohio State. But it's just
the price I pay. Destiny. It's calling me open up
(19:43):

I think I even know the lyrics of this song. Yeah, yeah, yeah.

over to somebody else who's been m v P Lamar Jackson.
(21:44):
The report out from Ian Rappaport of the NFL Network
says that the expectation for the Ravens and Lamar Jackson
is that they're going to put the exclusive franchise tag
on him this offseason and that's just gonna be how
that one plays out here. So I don't know if
that means it just, uh, they feel like we're at
a stand still and it's not gonna go anywhere, and
(22:07):
so let's just go ahead and and make the move
and then you know, continue on with our off season.
But as a stands right now, that's the that's the
plan in place for Lamar Jackson, when meanwhile, the Cincinnati
Bengals are talking about a long term deal and locking
up Joe Burrow inside the division. So there you go.
There's the Baltimore Ravens Lamar update. So remember the Ravens
let go Greg Roman their offensive coordinator. They're in search
(22:30):
of a new O C. And it sounds like Seahawks
Dave Canalis, who has interviewed now a couple of times
for his position, could end up getting that job. Um.
I think Chad Hall has been another name that's been
thrown around. Who's the wide receiver's coach up in Buffalo.
But the reason why I bring that up is because
if you think about the type of commitment that you
want to make to Lamar, you're probably want someone else
(22:54):
to outside of Greg Roman to come in. If maybe
Greg Roman got some point and said I've done all
I can you know as far as where I feel
like Lamar can develop as a quarterback, and you know,
John Harba might say, or Steve Baschetti might say, well,
that's not good enough. You know, we want to keep climbing. Okay,
we'll bring someone else in. Then you know, if I
can't do it, brings someone else and then you think can't,
(23:16):
so they put him under the franchise tag. It accomplishes
two things. It allows that next offensive cordator to come
in and see what he's able to do with Lamar.
It also gives them more time to negotiate a long
term extension, and it sets up the framework for at
least the minimum the next three years. You know what
the first three years of an extension would look like
under this year's franchise tag, the following year's franchise tag,
(23:39):
and a third year un the franchise tag. So it
should help create I guess a little more of the
structure in that regard, and then again an opinion of
what you're gonna have with an o C. If he
ends up playing through the franchise tag this year and
doesn't end up getting a long term deal, you get
at least another person's opinion on whether or not you
want to tag him a second time m or just
(24:00):
commit to them in a bigger capacity. So that's how
I think this is playing out. But um, you know,
they've gotta they've gotta eventually find out, you know, what
OC they want to bring in, what kind of offense
they want to run, and what changes they might make. Uh.
Let me ask you this because I don't want to
pretend that I know the answer to this. Does this
way of handling the scenario with Lamar Jackson ruined the
(24:24):
relationship between him and the franchise. I don't know that
it ruins it. I think there's been issues for whatever
reason and getting this done in the first place. Uh.
And and again we can go back to other players
who signed an extension that you know, don't have agents
that have done it themselves. They've been able to work
(24:45):
something else out his team. Yeah, so I don't know.
At some point, I think one of the values that
an agent brings is they help you understand your market value.
People tend to think that they're getting paid aid for
their negotiation tactics. That's part of it. To me, it's
always there. More they're they're insider information and being able
(25:07):
to help you understand really what your market value is.
And so when you're presented with an offer, you can
then look at it and not get emotional and say, well,
you know, this is about where they see me kind
of fitting in the rest of this group. So this
is the kind of offer that I'm gonna receive instead
of saying, well, I want with Deshaun Watson, guy, I
want more than that because I've been better. Yeah, he
(25:29):
has been better. There's no doubt Lamar Jackson has been
a better quarterback in the NFL than Deshaun Watson has.
But no one's getting that contract because you have to
have the perfect scenario. You have to have like a
lightning strike in order for that to occur where you
get that deal with a team that's that desperate at
that perfect time. So eventually that deal will get surpassed,
(25:51):
but it's not gonna be this soon after, and it's
not gonna be right now. And I don't think again,
Steve A. Shady was up in arms about it then,
and I don't think his feelings have changed on that now.
So you've got Burrow, You've got Justin Herbert, You've got
who else could be up for an extension soon. Uh yeah,
that'll probably play itself out. It's just I'm shocked that
(26:12):
we're still at this point that this is just where
it's going to be at and on the subject of,
you know, hurt feelings, I feel like the Ravens have
They've tried, They've tried to get something done for whatever reason.
He's stuck on the Deshaun Watson contract and for good reason.
And I don't think they want to franchise him. But
(26:35):
I also think that they look at this and go,
what what else are our options? If you're not willing
to play ball on any of this stuff, what options
do we have? And this feels like it's just sort of,
you know, last last ditch effort to try and maybe
buy him some more time. I don't know. I'm just
surprised that we're at this point to where they couldn't
have figured out a deal and Lamar Jackson wouldn't have
(26:55):
looked around and said, all right, that was a one off.
You know, it's ats on point. Maybe somebody gets to that.
It gets to that Deshaun or Deshaun Watson contract and
the guaranteed money, But you can't just use that and
take the exception to the rule as all of a
sudden being the new rule. I just that that that's
that's the part that surprises me with all this stuff.
But I will say this, while it may seem unrealistic
(27:20):
for Deshaun Watson's contract to be surpassed or matched in
terms of total guarantees, you ultimately can say that that
is football culture. Football culture says, whoever gets the next
biggest contract, the they're basing it off of the last
biggest contract. Like that's that's football culture. That's at every
(27:43):
single position, and that's generally how how it's done. So
it is one of those things where you do have
to be educated on on what it is that you're
you're seeking because there's there are sometimes a lot of
hidden hidden language it or ways to wrap money into
a scenario where like I'll give you a great example,
(28:06):
you could get a contract that isn't fully guaranteed, but
yet make more money than what Deshaun Watson is going
to make in terms of like the short term. So
it's like there's different ways to win if you know
how to go about winning. And to me, that's my thing, like, Okay,
if you want to go for a long term deal
and they don't want to do that long term deal
(28:27):
that matches it, then give me the value of it
in a shorter term, Like give it to me, and
you know, whatever it may be that's feasible, but give
it to me in a shorter term. So the total
on the next three franchise tag numbers would be if
they did it three times in a row, would be
about what one fifty? Uh yeah, ballparks. Sure. So if
(28:47):
they if they went to Lamar Jackson right now and
said you want a fully guaranteed deal, will give you
a three year, fully guaranteed, hundred fifty million dollar deal.
Do you think he takes that? Because if he doesn't
looking at it that way, but if he doesn't take it,
that's just what it's going to be anyways. If they
if they franchise him, Yeah, the difference is um to
(29:09):
two fold. Uh. The taking the three year deal. You know,
look I said earlier three years into the franchise tag
would be the framework. Right from the player's standpoint, you'd say,
all right, this is our starting point for negotiations. The
team would look at you and say, we'll hold on
for a second. If I'm gonna give you a hundred
fifty million guaranteed, I'm taking on your injury risk. So
(29:30):
I'm not gonna pay you a hundred Million'm gonna pay
a hundred forty million, Like, I want a bit of
a discount on my end of things, because I'm the
one who's giving you this huge chunk of cash right
up front. And so if you want to play this
out and you want to go franchise tag this year,
franchise tag the next year, FRANTISEAC next year, that's fine,
But then that injury risk is now on on you
(29:51):
and you have to take it each subsequent year, right,
because that's how that works out. The other way that
hurts you from a team standpoint is it doesn't allow
you to move around those those money in the salary cap,
you know, at forty five point two or point six
whatever it is for next year's exclusive franchise tag that
goes all against the cap, instead of being able to
spread out at leash at least a portion of the
(30:14):
signing bonus over however long that contract extension is. So
that's that's the difficulty I think with the negotiations is
you have to understand both sides of it. If the
player plays it out in each individual year, they're taking
on the injury risk. If the team's giving them that extension,
you'd have to say at least in the short term.
The team is then taking on the injury risk over
(30:35):
that duration of that guaranteed money in that contract. No, man,
damn Lamar Jackson. That pesky m v P has really
giving him a lot of a lot of ability to
I mean, seriously, if he didn't have that m v P,
you think they'd already have a deal done. I kind
I kind of feel that way, like that's his trump card,
that's his Oh well, I know that that. You know,
(30:58):
you guys are looking at the contract and you're trying
to compare. I'm an m v P, Like I want
an m v P for you, Like that's that's where
That's all he's got to have to fall back on.
And I was also thinking about this the Dak Prescott
because there's a lot of comps to well. Dak Prescott
played on the franchise tag. Remember Dak Prescott changed representation
in the middle of all that to where he left
(31:19):
and did he was it. Todd France was the guy.
I think he went to CIA with Todd France, And
once that happened, then all of a sudden they were
able to try and you know, work a little bit
more and and try and ask for a little bit more,
and Dak Prescott actually got I think a better contract
than what some people were reporting that he was asking
for initially. So if Lamar Jackson just continues down the
(31:41):
road of no agent, nobody representing him, and just people
looking at the details, I just wonder how long this
is going to drag out for so regardless though he's
gonna get franchise, no probably playing next year for the
Ravens anyway, So there's that. It's Two Pros and a

(33:55):
There are some good things that happen, and there's some
bad and then there's some do right ugly things. It's
time for good bad and alright lead to laugh. Who's
got what this week? Guys? You know it's a good
week when this guy has the good. That's Brady Quinn
bra Thanks, guys. I don't need to do this very often, basically,
(34:19):
man um, Well, first off, they're good. Is just you know,
making it to a Wednesday and being able to hang
with you guys, to be able to do this before
he gets all hang together in Phoenix next week for
Super Bowl. That's that's that's I'm gonna start off with that.
Just the fact that I got to go. I'm so
excited and it's so unexpected. I so many people to think, Um,
(34:39):
I'm excited, and what I think is good is that
Sean Payton is back coaching in the NFL. The reality
is he is one of the best coaches. He's he's
got a good track record, He's won a Super Bowl,
He's one of the better offensive minds. As much as
I enjoy hearing his perspective on TV, I also enjoy
watching how he schematically goes about attacking defense. Is So
(35:01):
you get Sean Payton, head coach of the Denver Broncos,
a storied franchise and organization, trying to bring them back
to their glory days. I think that's good too, because
if he can make that Broncos team competitive, I mean,
you got Casey Chargers Broncos. We'll see what Burnos Raiders,
you know, look like next year. But that's gonna be
(35:22):
a fun, fun division. So that's the good. Alrightley, what
do we got, guys? You can't have good without the
bed And who better to deliver bad news than Jonas
Knox Jonas what was bad this week? Alright? So the
over dramatics on social media of Joseph Asai and people
feeling might think you got to run to his defense
and say, listen, he's only twenty two years old. Uh,
(35:45):
he's a young kid. Don't be so hard on him.
Don't give him such a hard time. Listen, mental health
is a real thing we should worry about as well being.
I get it. Can we not make this more than
it actually is? All right, he made a mistake. He
hit a quarterback who was out of bounds, and it
(36:06):
led to an easier field goal, which led to them
losing the a f C title game. It's not the
end of the world. And by the way, for everybody
caring about his well being, did you see his knee
on that play almost fold in half as he was
going to the ground. I don't hear any reports about
the m R I and what this prognosis is. Everything's about.
Everybody wants to run to his defense and say, oh you,
(36:27):
let's speak out against his his mental well being and all.
Everything's gonna be fine. He's a good player, he had
a good game. He had a bad moment. That's it.
You move on. They lost. Everybody move on with their lives.
That's my bad for the week. Alright. I've already seen
the ugly side of LaVar today. But LaVar, let us
all know, what what do you mean by that? Yeah, LaVar,
(36:52):
I didn't know you could reach so far above the counter.
I'll say it that way. Yeah, sometimes you just got
to bounce the vape off of you know, off the count.
I need to lambo leap over this. You could just
see him at a trough lady. There you go. I'll
tell you what's this week. What's ugly is there's no game.
(37:15):
I just gotta be honest with you. There's a lot
of things that we could talk about that are ugly.
I could talk about the hit on on Patrick Mahomes,
you know, I could talk about there talking about bringing
O b J back because all of the injuries to
receivers in Kansas City. There's a lot of ugly I
could bring up, but nothing more uglier than the fact
that we are at the end of another football season.
(37:39):
But there's no football game this week. Can I ask this?
There's a football there's sort of a game. There's a
flag game, and it's one of the news. Tyler Huntley,
there's one of the Pro Bowl quarterbacks. Yeah, he's got
two touchdowns. What's the problem. I'm just I mean, look, LaVar,
you went to Pro Bowls, so I'd love to know
(38:00):
how you view what the athlete of a Pro Bowl
is twadays. It's sad what it's become is what I
would say. It's a it's a hard riddle to to
kind of come up with an answer too. But I
mean it's sad because I think when it was in Honolulu,
it represented you know, it represented an accomplishment and that
(38:20):
you know, it's not there anymore, you know, but a
lot of people wanted it, wanted to see how it
will work in the States once we did it. I
think that going back to Honolulu and trying to figure
it out that way would have been best best, but
you know, who knows. I could be wrong about it.
It's not where to play because that stadiums could it's gone.
Stadiums done, so well, there you go. But they're building
(38:41):
a new complex. It should be ready in thirteen years,
so well, maybe it'll be right on time when he
comes back. Fox Sports Radio has the best sports talk
