and some over unders. It's yours next here, Two Pros

so I'm talking about sticks. Yeah. This some Sticks City
(00:45):
music right here. Seven dust Man Yeah from Atlanta, Georgia.
A little five piece yea from the same part of Atlanta.
I think, so oh yeah, Well, you know, if you
break it down like that, probably not I think about it.

I don't know if you were aware of this, but
today is a special day. I wasn't aware of this
(01:53):
very very special day here because the football Friday, yeah,
still is a football Friday. Super bowls over football Friday.
There's other leagues and other leagues. I guess there's other leagues. Okay,
football Friday, Football Friday. Even without football, here on two
(02:18):
pros and a cup of Joe, hold on, hold on,
how well, just because because it's better than basketball Friday.
You know, it doesn't really roll off. No, you do
play you do play basketball on Friday though, right Tuesday
and Friday. Yeah, I think that is you play basketball
all the time. I played basketball. I know I used
(02:41):
to be uh stud, you could have gone D one
right playing basketball? Yeah? You and A J. Green? You know,
A J. Green was recruited by South Carolina to play basketball,
but for some reason they he and he played high
school football at Summerville, which is like one of the
most prestigious programs. Their head coach and I'm blanking on
(03:04):
his name, uh what long? Like they wrote a book
about him, like had just like seven d career wins
all this stuff. And one of the big knocks on
Steve Spurrier was, how did you lose A J. Green?
Like a three star, legit three star athlete track football
and basketball? How did you lose him to Georgia? I
mean he was at South Carolina. Yeah, he was in
(03:26):
South Carolina right outside Charles And I can see if
you said that if he was at Florida, But I mean,
what would you How could you keep him there if
you're gonna disrespect the game Cocks like that? I guess
(03:48):
you are very yeah uh yeah, so so there's uh so, yeah,
that is the the situation that and you who was
getting it wasn't hard enough land A J. Green Man,
who was who was recruiting you the hardest to go
play basketball? Villa Nova. Oh man, you could have been
(04:09):
a wildcat. They I know it's not true, but they
gave me a pair of shorts and told me they
were Doug West. Doug West is uh game game you shorts?
They smell no? Alright? They were dope though, Dough And
I got a pair of Chris Webber's Game Warren shorts too.
I was getting recruited lightly by Michigan. I was at
(04:31):
a basketball one of those um a a you you know,
like elite tournaments, and they gave they were given. They
gave a few of of game warrns to to some
of the guys that they you know, they were talking to.
Did you play against any like the guys that made
it big after that? By the way, John John mckissic
(04:54):
was the name of the coach. I want to apologize
and slipped his name, But John mckissic, the legendary high
school football coach in South Carolina. But who'd you play against?
That was the best player you played against? Bat bro?
I mean, that's a crazy list. Somebody to just cut
you up. You're like damn well. I wouldn't have been
cut up by I mean I played I guarded Stefan Alberry.
(05:14):
How it had that go I wasn't It wasn't as
bad as you may think it is. It wasn't good either.
I mean he let Kobe up, which bout the way
I played against Kobe. I played against some MOKEI Walker
Antoine Walker. Uh was twin? Was he doing the chimmy then?
Because he used to do this little chimmy when high school?
(05:36):
I never know. I don't remember him doing a shimmy.
I just remember him blowing people's faces off from outside,
like he could take you inside and outside. He was
from Chicago. It's like a black and white um team.
That that, and I'm not talking about them. Their uniform
colors were black and white. Um. I played against the
(05:59):
Donald Foyle you know you guys might remember him look
like the real life Weggie from from Class Act. I
played against Jehidi White. Jehidi White was one of the
most growness of grown mass men um in high school.
Bro like the way he Seeing him in a Donald
(06:19):
Foyle play against each other was pretty that was pretty interesting,
pretty cool? Watch that? Um? Who else? Who else? Uh?
There was lamar Odom. I played against lamar Odom uh
t two. You know I talked to him not too
long ago. You guys were in Vegas together that what's
(06:39):
that place called berto Ed Thank you. No, we wasn't
there together, but like a pet store, right he was?
Actually he was. No, Lamar is a good dude. Actually,
you know bit misunderstood at times, maybe um taking advantage
(07:02):
of more often than not, I would say, but Lamar
is a good dude. Places he thinks are a motel
or you know, dude that I played against that people
if you if you're a basketball dude, you know his name,
but you might not know his name if you're not.
Was a dude by the name of Kareem Reid. And
and he I think he went to Alabama. I think
either Arkansas or Alabama. I think he went to for
(07:26):
for college. But let me tell you something. He played
for him and and Steph used to battle and it
was fun. Like for me, it was way more fun
being able to watch, um because I wasn't as good
as those guys were. Um, it's not the love ranch.
(07:46):
Let's go live to our Where Where did where? And
LaVar Arrington given false information it's ranch, is what I'm
just want. Yeah, that's just not the lost. By the way,
(08:07):
Coop stuck around just to make sure he got the brothel.
Dave correct for Lamarrow. 'm very nice. That's just p
that's his post show production for the Ben Mallor Show.
And literally he's leaving the room. That's so horrible. Is
it important information? People need to build these things. A
little drive by from Coope, One wrong word and the
(08:29):
title could lead to your demise. I would assume. I
mean Coops, like you know, I'm ready for the weekend.
But before I go, we just clear this up. It
was the Bunny Ranch or Love Ranch or whatever it's called,
the Bunny Ran. I mean, there's a whole bunch of
bunnies or there's a whole bunch of bunnies. By the way,
Lamarrow item fantastic basketball player. He could do things that
(08:54):
nobody else could do six ten with handle left handed.
There was no problem with this game. Is it a
Hall of Famer? Ah? You know that that that plays
the ranch that probably would maybe steer some people away
from just like some of the off the court antics.
You know, he's like one of those guys who was
(09:16):
piss off the court antics is are are a little
bit like self like. That's self harm, although considering harm
anybody else, it was like self like, like Dennis Rodman.
He's not even close to Dennis Rottman the Hall of Fame,
considering considering you know some of the other names that
are on that Hall of Fame list in basketball, Yeah,
(09:36):
Muffatt McGraw me. Look, you know there's there's some questionable
anybody could get in there had a Hall of Fame career,
Ben Wallace, you know there's a Hall of Famer. You
can't be a Hall of Famer being a great defensive player.
I think ray Lewis would be upset with you. Yeah,
(09:58):
I think Deacon Jones would be upset with you. And
by the way, single yeah, I know my guy, LaVar
Arrington College Football Hall of Famer defense congratulations. Yeah, what's
this about? By the way, Berno who came in shorthanded today,
supposed to bring good what we're supposed to drink today,
(10:19):
last hour we're supposed to get fried on air? He didn't.
He didn't hit me up. And what happened? Yet? Hit
me up? Who he did that too? He did it
to my mass. That's come on Berno better than that.
But point being, you're gonna throw it out there and
didn't I I'm gonna shoot it to you. I'm gonna
text it to you, all right. I never saw it. Yeah,
(10:40):
it's just tired. It's all good. I did legs yesterday.
I'm sore as hal It's probably the first time I
did legs in like my life. By the way, it's
not the day after you're gonna feel it. It's tomorrow.
That's at least you are a toast tomorrow on Sunday.
It's over. Now. Did you do like what did you do?
(11:01):
Like machine squats? And no, No, I didn't go crazy
like I did leg extensions? I did I did in
her inner leg outer leg, you know the squeeze and
then the push out dip. Yeah. I did single leg squats.
Oh man, yeah you got you gotta have to thirty
(11:23):
thirty per leg two. I feel them. I'll tell you that. Yeah,
it's My belly's looking pretty good too. Man. I'm kind
of I'm starting to like kind of be like, you know,
I'm on my like you know, Rocky and and in
the USSR you know what I mean, do U R
R s By the time Easter rolls around, They're gonna
be able to iron clothes on your stomach. I mean,
(11:43):
I'm feeling pretty good. I'm drinking my non dairy uh
cookie butter coffee. I got my big tall glass of water.
I mean, I'm I'm on it, duck. Yeah, I'm on it,
like I'm kind of on it two days in a row. Yeah,
I'm like so sick and tired of being a slop
on God, what are you talking about? Man? It's been
a slot for too long? Bro? You know what I mean?
(12:06):
Like my belly started to pull my my body down,
like I was literally leaning forward. I couldn't straighten up
because my belly was pulling me forward. Now that's not
the type of gravity you want in your life. I've
needed to do something and now there has been an
active intervention that's taken place, and that would be I
mean the gym. Well you know what I think was
(12:27):
pulling you forward? And we are in Phoenix. What your
Hall of Fame ring? How about that? Huh? Who's here
to make you feel better? Thank you? Who's here? There's
no better hype man and radio to mean what I do? People,
I didn't know where you were going there for a moment. Well,
to know me is to not know exactly where you
were going. Well, listen, but that's an everyday battle for you.
(12:50):
That is going on a long time. That's why they
call you the human gas pump. But again, we're not
here to judge. We're just here to to make people
feel better about things. And that's what does you way
into that, burt you way way way too far into that.
(13:13):
Can I get a carton of smokes? And uh, the
rest of number eleven? It is two pros and a
cup of joe here Fox Sports Radio. By the way,
welcome to the first Football Friday post football. This is
what it's gonna be like football kind of there's there's
other football, of course there is, but it is two
(13:33):
pros and a cup of joe. It's LaVar Arrington, Jonas
knocks with you here. You can hang out with us.
Is always on the I Heart Radio apps. So we're
gonna have the usuals coming up later on, we get
another edition of In case you missed it. We are
gonna have some over unders. That's a year round thing.
Year round because we got some other sporting events and
things like that. We're gonna have some fun with coming
up later on in the show, and it all goes
up until nine am Eastern times, six o'clock Pacific. But
coming up next though here on FS are there is
(13:56):
somebody in the world of football who stands by a
move they made. Yet you've got others that are trying
to tell them how they needed to do their job.
We'll get into that for you. It's yours here, Two
Pros and a Cup of Joe next Fox Sports Radio.
Be sure to catch live editions of Two Pros and
a Cup of Joe with Brady Quinn, LaVar Arrington and
(14:16):
Jonas Knocks weekdays at six am Eastern, three am Pacific
on Fox Sports Radio and the I Heart Radio Bim
Bim Plan Mbongos Plan om Bongos. You sure are dah,
(14:52):
Two Pros and a Cup of Joe, Fox Sports Radio, LeVar.
You know what's funny about those moments. There's probably a
portion of our listeners that hate me for screaming, and
I know because I see them write it, and then
there's a portion that absolutely love it. There's someone that
needed to crush that last rep at six three in
(15:15):
the morning and they're listening to us right now and
me streaming get you do that rep. Get it up.
My mats is burnard too from lifting. That is the
hamstrings the I T bands on fire, screaming a yeah,
(15:36):
work out your I T bands. You don't want to
dislocate your kneecap like I did back in the day
because they said, why didn't you work out your I
T bands? Like what is an I T band? And
the first time they worked on it is one of
the most excruciating bands. Here's what I want you to do. Yeah,
I want you Lee and Burto to go get a
massage and have them split your thank you good? Here
(16:02):
all good. I've had that done a few times. Uh,
let's just say it's a very impactful moment on your
life every single time. It's terrible, every single moment. Do
you want to get somebody to snitch split their I
T sir um, We asked you what time did you
(16:28):
buy the bottle of beer. It's like in casino when
they got that guy's head and the vice. That's basically
the I T band. Yeah, I see that. The head
and devices is probably easier on you than you know
because it's just like the head and the vice. I
know this is bad, but you see the person come
in and they start putting that elbow in your leg
on the side of your legs. Man, I don't even trouble. Yeah,
(16:51):
it's awful trouble. You don't even realize you got issues
there until they go there, like what what? What is that?
That's you? Like? You got all that? All those notz
are you And that's what we're trying to do. We're
trying to work it out for you. But it is
two pros and a couple of radio Sometimes you gotta
think about Deshaun Watson and and if he was really
getting sports massages like you, you're not in good enough
(17:13):
condition to be thinking about other things. That's all I say.
It's a fair point. It's also an accurate point. That's
not supposed to be pleasure. It's it's really supposed to
be painful when your body. We tell you something. Anybody
who has had their I t worked on doesn't go
to sixty different masseuses to have it happen. It takes
(17:33):
one and then you're good for good. Yeah, I'm good
over all. Right. So coming up in a little over
about twenty minutes from now, another edition of In case
you missed it, We are going to get to an
update on a major story in the NFL that we
have been tracking and referencing for about a year now.
(17:53):
So we'll get into that for you here again a
little over twenty minutes from now, Before we get into
somebody in the NFL who is talking about a key moment,
Let's first let you know we are brought to you
by Discover. We can talk about how complicated other banks
make it to redeem credit card rewards, or we can
talk about how we Discover you can redeem your rewards
for cash and any amount at any time. Let me
talk about amazing learn more discover dot com slash redemed
(18:14):
rewards terms apply so well. Everybody is still breaking down
different angles and aspects of Super Bowl fifty seven and
what went wrong for Philly and what went right for
Kansas City and all this stuff, And one of the
moments that's now come into the spotlight is the decision
by Philadelphia and Nick Sirianni to go ahead and punt
(18:36):
the ball away with ten minutes and change left in
the game. They're down by a point, They've got a
fourth and three at their own thirty two yard line.
They haven't been able to stop Kansas City in the
second half, and so Sirianni elects to punt the ball away,
which led to the big return by Caddarius Tony, which
(18:56):
set up a touchdown for Kansas City, who built an
eight point lead, which Philly then went on to tie
later and we know how the game finished up. But
Nick Sirianni was being asked about his decision to go
ahead and punt the ball away in that moment. Here
was his response. I've been aggressive all year going for
I really trust our guys in scenarios. I think fourth
(19:18):
and three on your own thirty what was it, thirty three? Yeah,
I think you get thirty two out of thirty two
NFL coaches and they punt that ball every time. Two
out of thirty two. That's It's the dumbest argument, dumbest
discussion point ever. I would disagree just because I think
Brandon Staley probably would have gone for it that I
(19:38):
wouldn't say thirty two out of thirty two, would say
probably thirty one. He was hanging out, but he was
watching it like I would have went for it. To
your part, at a certain point in time, like you can't,
you can no longer just let results completely. You can't
(19:59):
gray results and all and on everything that happens after
the fact, Like like I know that we want to
look at it and say, well, they lost the game,
and they and they allowed a touchdown right afterwards. I understand,
but technically you are supposed to great results. What I'm
saying is you don't allow that stuff to be looked
at and say, well, what happened afterwards means that what
(20:21):
he did in the moment isn't the right call. What
he did in the moment was the right call. The
coverage afterwards was the wrong call. And that's not on
that's not on. It was it was poor coverage. I mean,
it was poor coverage and that was the biggest thing.
But even with that being said, they tied the game up.
(20:43):
So whoever like to ask Nick Serriani that question? What
to me mean, it's like, all right, you lost the
game based off of that that sequence, they didn't. That's
not what lost them the game. So and and for me,
(21:04):
I think this is one of the better played, I
want to say, better coached games because it truly was coached. Well,
I just don't understand, and I help you would jump
in on this and and and you know, have his
thing to say about hold on, how do you not
hold on, hold on, hold on, hold on, hold on,
(21:25):
hold on, hold hold on. How how do you not
adjust to the in and out route that's taking place
on the outside. How you not adjust to it? And also,
did you see there was some film that came out
that you know who got him for that play. Peter
Peterson got him earlier in the season on that play.
So like, I just I look at this and I go,
(21:46):
we're we're basing what the end result was on what
the decision was in real time. And to me, you
can't do that all the time because you making that call.
And look, we talked about Brandon Staley. If you recall
one of the games that the Chargers won that was
a hotly contested game was the game at Cleveland, And
(22:07):
we can look at that and we can take a
step back and go, well, they went on the road
in Cleveland and won that game. Good for them. Well
they won that game after Brandon Staley decided to go
for go for it on fourth and one with under
a minute left at his own fifty with a one
point lead, which was an awful idea. They got stopped
(22:30):
and Cade York missed a kick, which is why the
Chargers won that game. So the idea that we can
just now take whatever the final score was and what
happened afterwards? Who was it? Uh? Who would you just say?
Collins Worth? You just sounded like collins Worth whatever. But
point being the idea that you can just now take
(22:51):
whatever the end result was and then go back and critique,
it just doesn't make sense. He that was the right call.
They didn't cover the kick. You're I mean, you're a
hundred percent correct on what you're saying. Um, I guess
that's why I said. You sound like people are saying
that the analytics would tell you that you go for
that situation. Well, I don't know what analytics those are,
(23:12):
because on your own thirty two thirty three, thirty two
with that amount of time left and again at that point, yes,
they were scoring, Yes Kansas City was scoring, but you
know what Kansas City had just did, because you know
what Philadelphia was scoring too, and they were scoring relatively easy.
(23:34):
But do you know what Kansas City had did on
that drive? They stopped the Eagles and the Eagles had
to punt. Who's to say you kicked the ball you
played defense and the Chiefs have to punt. That's that's football.
That's playing strategic football. That's coaching your ass off. And
that's not even really saying coaching your ass off. That's
(23:56):
like saying you're a good parent because you're a good parent,
Like you don't. You don't get credit for being a
good parent. You're supposed to be a good parent. When
you're on your own thirty two yard line against the
Chiefs at that point in the game, you're supposed how
much time was left. Whoever, if if he if he
goes for it on fourth and three, fourth and three,
(24:20):
I don't care if he got it. Somebody needed to
get their head examined. That is the most insanely outrageous
thing to say, is that somebody should have went on
fourth and three on their own thirty two in the
biggest game of the year, and they were doing well,
they're doing well in the game. It's like, wasn't like
(24:42):
a desperation situation. So let me do hypothetical with you.
All right, you're an assistant coach for high school right now.
Next season, your team in the championship actually not even
championship game, regular game, first game of the year is
in the exact same situation, and your head coach is
electing to go for it in that spot. Are you
(25:04):
not at some point like walking up to him saying
sure about this? I'm not. I stay in my lane. Okay,
but what are you thinking in your head? Well, I'm
the de coordinator, so of course I'm saying kick the ball,
kick the ball unless we see something, if we see
something that we feel could work. Because to me, high
(25:27):
school is a little different. Like I would I would
take chances when I was a head coach. I took
chances on surprise onside kicks. I took chances on on
just throw it up fourth down, you know, hell Mary
type type deals like I was creative and trying to
catch people off guard. So high school is a little different.
(25:49):
But if I'm in the pros, I'm still keeping my
piece like I'm not. I don't want to have any
association or attachment like well, LaVar said coach. Arrington said
new LaVar didn't say a damn thing. LaVar was coaching
linebackers or LaVar was coaching the defense. LaVar didn't say
(26:09):
anything about any of this call, Like if you asked me,
what was the blitz or what was the coverage? And
on third down or second down? Great, I gotta I
gotta own that. I don't want my name associated with
a fourth down and three on your own thirty two
and you go for it. I just think this is
everybody going retroactively and looking back at what happened in
(26:33):
the punt return. And okay, let me ask you this, Jonas,
what happens if they get the first down the drive continues?
How much of the game does that? Does that? Are
they trying to say that the Eagles continue to drive
and they score and they win the game ten minutes left?
(26:54):
What what exactly are you? Like? What are you thinking
the end result is going to be by them going
forward on that place. I think why he's getting heat
is because everyone looks at him as an aggressive guy
who goes for it in those spots. But I do
think that situationally in that moment man punted away like
(27:14):
pin him deep and then take your chance. But but okay,
so they make it on fourth down, I mean they
get a new set of down. What if they got
to what if they get what? They get another fourth
down exactly? And then okay, they get another first down?
What if they get a fourth down on the third
set of a third set of plays in that series
(27:34):
and then you've eaten up more clock and you're still trailing,
like it just and then you had to put on
the list and like none of it makes any sense.
Bottom line is that point returned by Kadarius Tony. That
was the huge difference. I mean, that was the difference
in the game. If you ask me, that's the difference
in the game. Yeah. And so like just the the
idea that there's any pushback on this, I I don't know, man.
(27:56):
I know people want to nitpick and they're they're bitter
about but I just don't think that. You you look
at a failed it's like it's like, say this, I
would have kicked that bitch out of Bounce. I'll tell
you that as far as possible, right, I would have
kicked it down Phil he put him pen him on
the sideline, do not, I repeat, and it did. It
(28:16):
was to what the right of the defense, it was
to the left of the receiving team. I would have
put that bad boy and the and the and the
bleachers these somebody would have had them a ball to
take home from the Super Bowl because I would not
have wanted a return on that play. These bailout conversations
(28:38):
like when the Packers lost to the Niners in the
playoffs last year and everyone's like, oh, Aaron Rodgers, it
comes up short in the postseason again, Uh, the offensively,
they only scored this amount of points. First of all,
like they scored enough points. It was their special teams
that had the melt down of the century, which is
why their special teams coach got clipped and rich Rich
Pisacci was brought in like the idea that you're gonna
(29:00):
pin all but we go back after the fact and say, well,
he didn't do enough. No, your special teams didn't do enough.
Nick Sirianni, not going for it on fourth and three
wasn't the problem. It was your special teams unit that
gave up that part return that changed the game, literally
changed the game. But still even that didn't lose in
the game because Jalen Hurts went down overcame all that
(29:23):
and scored and then hit a two point conversion. I
just this is the still Super Bowl fifty seven conversation
of people bitching a moment about the result, but nonetheless
all right, so coming up next, there's a story in
the NFL that we have been monitoring and tracking and
referencing for over a year, and we've got some clarity
on the situation. We'll have the details on that that's next.
(29:46):
Be sure to catch live editions of Two Pros and
a Cup of Joe with Brady Quinn, LaVar Arrington and
Jonas Knocks week days at six am Eastern three am Pacific. Hi,
this is Jake Glazer. And you may know me for
the world of football or fighting or even shows like
hbos Ballers. Well you don't know is for my entire life.
(30:06):
I have lived in something I refer to as the
Great Depression anxiety. So now I'm coming out with a
new podcast, Unbreakable, a mental health podcast with Jay Glazer,
where each week when we talk about mental health, I
hope to describe it, give it words. Listen to Unbreakable
with Jay Glazer on the I Heart Radio app, Apple Podcasts,
or wherever you get your podcasts, Two Pros and a
(30:31):
Cup of Joe, Fox Sports Radio, LaVar Arrington, Jonas Knocks
of the air you can listen to. This show is
always on the I Heart Radio app. Coming off top
of next hour a little over ten minutes from now
from the tire Act dot Com studios. There's a situation
in the NFL involving a quarterback that continues to get weird.
Just a weird vibe surrounding the whole thing. We'll have
that for you again a little over ten minutes from now.
(30:51):
Before we get to another edition of In Case you
missed It, I want to let you know we are
brought to you by Progressive Insurance. Progressive makes modeling easy

Sometimes you can't get to everything in the world of
sports or entertainment. Good thing. The guys are here to
(31:13):
bring you in case you missed and for that we
turned it over to our executive producer Lee Do do Lap, guys.
In case you missed it, Saints Lap, Thank you, sir.
In case you missed it, Saints running back Alvin Kamara,
along with Chris Lemmon's Who's a Cornerback was for the
chiefs now with the Bengals, have been indicted UH for
(31:36):
conspiracy to commit battery and battery resulting in substantial bodily harm.
For of course, that event that happened at the Pro
Bowl last year. Uh he mentioned from the NFL, I
imagine we might see that in the near future. I
mean sure did take a while. So he just he
was allowed to finish the Pro Bowl, he was allowed
(31:58):
to play the entire season. And uh, here we are,
and the video is pretty bad. And I mean, but
you know, the Super Bowl is going to Vegas. That
should be fine. There'll be no issues there, you know,
a week long celebration of the Super Bowl. I just
I'm trying to figure out what the hell took so
long for this to be the end result when everybody
(32:19):
could see on video there was a problem. But the
legal system takes a long time, and since COVID, it
takes a even longer time. Just letting you know, man,
cases are backed up. Yeah, this isn't no like crazy
conspiracy theory connected to the league. And by the way,
it's also it's also Las Vegas. I had a buddy
(32:39):
who got popped for a d uy in Vegas, and
it took so long for the for his case to
finally be heard that it actually expired and they threw
it out, so he didn't end up getting a d
u I because there were so many cases in Vegas
at the time. So there's people sitting on death throw
(33:01):
that it's just oh, yes, there stays, haven't haven't you know?
Still waiting? Yeah, just saying yeah, and that's death row.
You know, the guy you're living good on death row,
the guy who killed White Earp is still hanging out,
Like can we like get I have no idea. I
don't know. That's a long time ago, isn't By the way,
(33:22):
you know whiter from mam with Illinois, that's right, better
believe it. I'm more of a Doc Holiday fan though,
so you know I'll be your Huckleberry. Yeah. Yeah, I'm
a Johnny Ringo guy. And by the way, I Clanton
doesn't get the respect he deserves either. I mean, he
(33:43):
wasn't either of the I don't take no lip from
no boten Anita slap slapped the hell out of him.
You gotta wrap somebody on the beer to get some
respect around here. I'm watching it immediately upon my arrival
getting home, and it wasn't even like back. It was quick,
(34:05):
total disregard so good, Like why do you always make
me feel like I have to do this. It was
one of them type slaps, like he's so good at it.
Oh man, what else he practiced that? In case you
miss it, guys, we were talking about this yesterday on
the show about the Eagles push play the controversy surrounding that. Well.
(34:27):
Dean Blandino Fox Rules Analysts said he was talking with
Sean Payton during the game and that Sean Payton said
that he's mounts it to a rugby scrum and we'll
play it until the NFL changes the rule. The NFL
wants to showcase the athleticism and skill of our athletes.
This is just not a skillful play that field. LaVar
in your face. Man, it just sounds like they're coming
(34:48):
at they're coming at you. There's hypocrisy in that statement.
But you know this is this is you know, quick,
quick hit line hitters. But that's there's hypocrisy in that
because it's not all. First of all, a scrum is
is you're showing athleticism in that scrum, But then they
call it the tush push. I don't know how people
(35:09):
feel about that. Secondly, Secondly, last I checked, football isn't
just about um showcasing athleticism. Everybody on the football field
is not crazy athletic. It's about strength, it's about resolve,
it's about attrition, they said, you know old school coaches
that tell you it's a battle of attrition. That's why
(35:30):
it's four quarters. If it was just about showing athleticism,
just have one quarter, show to athleticism, have one quarter
and get out of there. But it's about adjustments, it's
about adapting, it's about you know, game planning. It's about
much more than just showcasing athleticism. So to me, I
think there's a lot of hypocrisy and that guys, you've
(35:51):
all heard the term live like a king. Well you
have a chance to live like the goat. Who's the goat?
The goat? Michael Jordan's the goat? Tom Brady, you can
you can now rent his Tampa Bay home for the
price of sixty dollars a month at six bedrooms, seven baths,
your own elevator in a pool. Is it still his home?
(36:12):
It is still his home, but you can rent it
for the summer. So what what I mean? He is
gangs there by the way six s a month. Could
you imagine having sixty dollars a month and somebody's going
to and somebody's going to do it, like they think
about this, you're a guy that sounded weird. Think about this, Hey,
(36:34):
don't sound weird when you say at six d g
s the rent a place to play for a month.
If you're if you're somebody that goes to Tampa and
say you're having a bachelor party and you got money,
would you not entertain the idea of, well, that's what
I was gonna sit there and tell you. I mean,
that's for a month. So if you break that down
into four, what is that? What does that breakdown into? Liked?
(36:56):
I mean, I'm just saying that's probably corporate. You're probably
corporate person going into that. Just hang out at Tom
Brady's Tampa mansion. Somebody will sleep on the elevator. Let
that greatness rub off on you. You know, you sleep,
and whoever gets that master bedroom, you know they're gonna
be grown men sniffing, sniffing pillow coverings and just squeezing
(37:17):
them tight. Fox Sports Radio has the best sports talk
