way tire buying should be. Good morning. I'll tell you
what I just finished up from yesterday when the show ended.
I just finished up taking inventory on my my twenty
credit cards and you know, making sure I checked out
(01:26):
all my report cards in my treit go Rob Parker
twenty twenty twenty credit cards and my my getaway. Rob
Parker is a spy. I'm convinced he's a spy. He's
a spy. He's got some Uh he's double low. That
that is workiness. That is double and double o og,
(01:46):
not double O seven. That's double loog. He's always got
a gayway getaway back. That's crazy, man, Yeah, crazy explaining
that again. Oh man. I was listening to him and
gott Leeb yesterday on the way home. It was pure comedy.
It's a Slavarsity favorite show. Oh man, they should make
that a show. You think Rob and Chris are the
(02:08):
odd couple. You should hear Rob and Doug. Now that
is truly an odd couple. Yeah, so there you go.
Rob's always got a getaway bag. He was telling Doug
about his getaway bag, like, Brot, do you have do
you have a spy? Brot, do you have a like
first thought, he has a bag in his home that
(02:29):
if something were to happen, He's got his passport, he's
got his his credit cards, all this stuff like other
pertinent information and and and you know, I'm just I'm
just saying, all right, I'm gonna leave it alone. But
I just thought it was funny as hell, because I mean,
but yeah, he's got a bag with clean under in
(02:51):
case of emergency. You never know, that's like somebody who
tried to get the hell out of town. Well, I
remember when we were in school out here in California,
we had to have these earthquake kits where you had
to bring in like goods in case there was the
big one and you know, everything there was a bunch
of rubble around you couldn't get out. You had to
have like an earthquake kit, and it would be stuff
(03:12):
that would stay good in case of emergency, so it'd
be like a granola bar, you know, maybe like a
cann of beams, Yeah, nonperishable, Yeah, stuff like that. And
the way the way Rob was making it sound as
like he's got something happened, not either got good grades.
(03:32):
The entire time. He said, he has every single report
card that he's ever had. So he's either looking at
how smart he's been, man, how smart he's been through
the years, or where where where the change took place
and he went from being something to something that I
don't know just south he's a spy. Yeah, I don't
know who he's spying for. LeVar text me and goos.
(03:55):
You gotta listen to this. And like Rob, Rob had
a little bit of an emergency at his place, so
he started to explain his getaway bags. So I don't know,
I've heard about getaway cash. I haven't heard about like
whole bags with clean underwear inside of them. You know,
they got that Liberty commercial, Rob and Doug. That should
be that should be the new new commercial. Yeah, thank you,
(04:21):
how you doing? Hey, good morning guys. I'm now trying
to figure out whether or not I needed like a goat.
I was thinking Bro in the moment, right, I'm laughing
but then I was like, wait, am I Am I
missing something here? Like I started questioning myself, Like I
started doing like a self evaluation like it's self self
(04:41):
audit of myself, Like am I doing something wrong? Like
do I need to be more planned out than what
I am right now? Do I need to be prepared?
Like do I need to have a bag in my
my whip where I can get out of the not
out of town? Brady, that man could get out of
(05:02):
the country. He can't get out of the country. Who
would have ready to go back? I don't know. I
started doing inventory. You never know? Am I wrong? Air? Like? Wait?
Then I started look, then you gotta go deeper. Right,
I went deeper. I was like on something like I'm
a black man in America? Do I need to be
(05:25):
prepared to come here? Get the hell out of the way?
Like is Rob up on something? Because you know robbing
and media for a long ass now you know a
lot of people. I'm sitting there, like what does what
has Rob experienced that has made him believe that he's
got to have getaway back? Because that's what they are. Listen,
his travel logic never makes sense. He's trying to explain
(05:48):
it to me over and over again. The whole thing
he does where when he wants to get rid of clothes,
he takes them with him and leaves them in the
hotel room with a note for the person cleaning the room,
him saying I no longer need these, they're yours, thanks
for everything. So he doesn't leave a tip for anybody
cleaning the room. But I'll leave a bunch of clothes. YEA, yeah,
(06:12):
I do. Yeah, you leave a tip um sometimes, although,
now that I think about it, well, last a couple
of times I've stayed in a hotel room, they like
they haven't been cleaning it ever since COVID, ever since COVID. Well,
I say to one recently, and they did it every
other day. It was no longer every day. They would
come every two days. Yeah, every other day. Uh, you know,
(06:33):
a couple of bucks? I don't take it depended. It
depends on whether or not I lost the previous night's patch,
so they didn't get a lot. I've never thought to
tip room cleaning. First of all, I don't carry cash,
so I don't even know how to tip you. But
I don't want tip. I don't tip for my room
being clean. That's like me being tipped for being a
good dad. Like, that's that's my job. That's like what
(06:57):
I'm supposed to do. Yeah, that's what I'm clocking in
to do it. Do you get a tip when you
finish the show? Yeah, maybe you should tip me instead
of tipping the person that that cleaned your room. You know,
maybe when I don't want that tip, I want that one,
don't you, Jumpy, Sorry, I don't want it now I'm
(07:23):
not going Yeah. So so he's got this whole thing.
He leaves clothes left over and and he just and
I told I was like you, I mean, good dah,
he's the best. But I was like, well, Rob, how
many people that have cleaned your room are? Six? Four?
Let me just let's just start there. And he goes,
well they might know somebody. I was like, okay, well
(07:44):
what if they don't like why don't you just leave
him a few bucks? Like they don't want your your
Adidas odd couple shirt that you had a patch picked
up with some Kiosk in the mall to cover up
some team logo that he wants that. But that's his
lot he just got. He's got these quirks, he's got these.
Oh yeah, come on, man, yeah please, yeah, he's got that.
(08:07):
He had one on yesterday. Yeah, yeah, away and me neither.
You got to buy him. And he had some Jay's
on two. By the way, s game be solid now,
don't don't get it twisted. Don't get him choisted up.
What what the shirts? The couple t shirts? He had
a whole rack up here during the holidays for the
(08:29):
editors and producers and all that. And you could get
something for thirty bucks. You could get something for fifty five.
You could get there was no discount. Did he come
up with the name, it's a pretty cool name. What
the Odd Couple? No, I think that's an older show.
I know that, but but I don't know. Did you
come up with that name for this show? For their show? Well? No,
because I know you came up with two pros and
(08:50):
a cup of Joe and that was your ear call.
That wasn't me, So I just, uh, that was Brady,
not sure who. Brady was like, oh I love this name.
Easy now, yeah, you just you settled down. That was cute.
She was like, yes, that is a very respectable name
for ourself. By the way, you want to know what
(09:11):
a scam Rob Parker pulled though. I want to hear.
So I ordered a T shirt and I went on
to his website ordered it because I was like, yeah,
I want you to get the money. So I ordered
the T shirt. I paid for the shipping and handling.
It was like four ninety nine, all right for this
shirt to get delivered. He walks because we were doing
a show one day. He walks down and hands me
(09:31):
the shirt and I said, is this what four ninety
nine was? Like? Four dollars nine? Four ninety nine? Im all,
you just went upstairs. I know the cardboard box you
have him in upstairs in the office, and you pulled
it out and brought it downstairs. He goes, well, I
handed it right to you. I was like, Rob, like,
I paid four ninety nine to get it mail to me.
(09:53):
He goes, this is what you get when you deal
with my website. I was like, so, I just wasted
five dollars so you could go upstairs and get on
an elevator and come down and drop it off in studio.
So you're a penny pincher too, Well yeah for that,
I mean, come on, yea for four ninety nine. Yeah.
When he loses as much as he does betting like
he has to Penny pinch. Oh you've seen nothing yet. Well,
(10:14):
I got a story next hour for you, do you really? Yeah,
that'll be in my good, bad, ugly. It's I mean,
it's it's actually it's not even it's not even bad.
It's pathetic. It really is pathetic at this point. What's happening? Yeah,
not good at all. Yeah, but I mean, thanks for
the support. You guys have really helped me out with this,
this issue that I have quit. What does that look like?
(10:36):
What does that look like on the television? Does that
look like, my gosh, looks like Jonas cylinder. It looks
like Jonas looks like a cylinder. There's there's odd weather
going on around I wanted to take a picture of it,
so cute. Yeah, there's odd weather going on around the country.
That was really odd. Yeah, yeah, all it's very strange.
(10:58):
I wish I could have caught that. All right, this
is a bizarre first segment. But you know what, I
just thought it was so interesting driving home listening to
the first segment of the show that I was listening
to yesterday, because I was like, man, you know, you
know I heard that Rob and Doug are must Listen
Radio and I gotta tell y'all our day on Today together.
(11:19):
I don't know if I hope, I hope they are.
You gotta everyone out there, if you're listening, you gotta
listen to Robin Duck. Yeah, I'm not sure. That is
funny as hell. It is two pros and a cup
of Joe. Fox Sports Radio, Brady Quinn Jonas that Q
came up with. By the way, we are brought to
you by Dollar Shave Clubs. Still over paying for a
(11:41):
razor in this economy gross With dollars Shaved Club, you
can get a top shelf shave at a regular shelf price.
Dollar Shave Club is available at a store near you
in the men's razor rail. That's it. That's the ad.
You guys are savages, all right. So we are gonna
have the usuals coming up here later on. We got
another addition in case you missed it. We've also got
(12:03):
the good, the bad, the ugly. We've got the old
p Petra spot but AKA stopping by, and we got
the BQ News. It's all yours for the next three
hours here on Fox Sports Radio. But coming up next though,
we do have some harsh words. Harsh words for somebody
who is in the news recently in the NFL. It's

(12:25):

a good segment here? True? Hey man, Berto totally broded
us man that first segment. It's all I'm about. Yeah,
(12:47):
come on, Luke segments, Let's do some great radio man
good segments. Spitter over here. Come on, let's spit that segment.
Come win it now. It's Two Pros and a Cup
of Joe. Fox Sports Radio, LaVar Arrington, Brady Quinn, Jonas Knox.
You can listen to. This show is always on the
iHeart Radio apps. So we will have another edition of
incase you missed it coming up here later on a
(13:08):
little over twenty minutes from now here on FSR. But
Leshaun McCoy, let's keep it spicy. A couple of Super Bowls,
one with Tampa Bay, one with Kansas City. Great career.
How relevant was the Gate. Yeah, well you know that's
Super Bowl champion. Yeah. I got a couple of others
(13:30):
Super Bowls rings. Right, and Leshaun McCoy was on FS
one yesterday talking about the situation involving Eric B. Enemy
him going to Washington to take over his offensive coordinator
for the Commandos, and LaShaun McCoy had some strong words
about his time with Eric B. Enemy in Kansas City.
(13:50):
Take a listen. What's his value? What makes him a
good officeive coordinator? See? The problem is a lot of
these people that go on social media, Oh, he should
be the guy for the job. They haven't played there.
I've been the rooms where he's coaching, and he has
nothing to do with the past game at all. Right,
when the players are designed, I said, Andy Reid, when
you talk about officer coordinators, I can tell you what
makes Brian day Ball with the Giants very very good coordinator.
(14:13):
I can tell you what Andy Reid or Doug Peterson.
But when I asked about Eric Enemy, what makes him good?
We watched the film or practices and we correct the
wire receivers, the running backs, the quarterbacks. He doesn't talk
in there. Andy Reid talks in there. I roomed for
him because he's a black coach and I love to
see black coachers win. Also, he's running back coach. Running
back coaches don't never get a chance to be office coordinators.
The last one was like Anthony Lynn, So I want
(14:34):
that to do well for him. But if I got
to do my job and be honest my things is,
where is the true value apt So that was the
Sean McCoy yesterday on FS one talking about Eric B Enemy.
Now some former teammates have come out and defending Eric
B Enemy the honey Badger. Yeah, Tyron Matthew said it
was a yeah you aft it basically kind of messed
(14:55):
up what he did and some personally, yeah, she mad.
Eb told him to tuck the hall because that was
one of the things that that he was having problem
fumbling the football, and he got mad because Eric out
on him. So and you spent I mean, listen, I'm
a Lesham, He's a PA dude. You know you're not Pittsburgh.
(15:15):
He went to Pittsburgh though, Ye Sutberg, you know what
I mean, A fool with Lesha McCoy. But and I
mean he's given his opinion and I don't feel like
he was egregious in giving what his truth was. But
you were you were a a like a reserve guy
on that team. I mean you and I both know Q.
(15:37):
When you're a main guy, you know, you know a
lot about what's going on. You know about the inner
workings of what's taking place. There's there's more conversations like
Terik Hill was probably getting pulled aside by his offensive coordinator,
by the head coach. They're they're talking, they're meeting, they're
spending more time in the meeting rooms. When you're not
(15:58):
that guy, you know what happens. You go to the
meeting room, you know what. Then the meeting is over
and you leave Like he wasn't a guy for for
Kansas City. You aren't. You're not You're not the guy.
And and sometimes I think you're I think you're your
Your interpretations of how things are done and what they
are are going to be surface value and some some scenarios,
(16:22):
and when you're not a guy, it's it's generally going
to be surface value. I don't need to spend any
more time with you. I don't need to make sure
you know X, Y and Z. I don't need to
prove anything to you in these scenarios, you're you're a
reserve guy, you're your hair. If we need a third
down back, whatever, somebody gets hurt. We have some depth
at the position. But I just think that if if
(16:46):
he had been saying that, and he was saying that
about Philadelphia, like that's different because I think that in
that moment, you're a main guy. So whatever it is,
game plan wise, how you're looking at it, how it's
being distributed, how it's being dispersed, what's being discussed, I
think you're more in the know. And sometimes even the
(17:06):
guy guy isn't really all the way in the know
unless you're sitting in those those coaches meetings with those
guys and you understand what the interactions are. Yeah, sure,
maybe the head coach is sitting there talking about this,
that and the other, but you don't know what their
interactions are when they're sitting in those meeting rooms and
doing all of the delegating of the duties. So I
(17:27):
kind of feel like he gave his truth, but I
think it was a misinformed truth in some regards. Now
I will also say it might be informed truth, and
a lot of other regards, I don't think it's all
the way one way or the other. But you know
a few, a few of his teammates did take exception
to it, big name teammates. Yeah, look, it's his opinion,
(17:50):
you know, and this is one where we don't know
his perspective, what he saw, what he heard, you know,
how he took it. I tend to actually think, you know,
sometimes the guys who aren't in are able to sit back,
especially veteran guys, and just look and look and see
and witness more. But look, I don't have a problem
with any of it, whether that's his opinion or are
(18:11):
the other guys that clacked back at him. Because now
eb gets a chance to go to Washington. He's not
under Andy Reid, he doesn't have patri Mahomes as a quarterback.
It's his show and he gets the opportunity to prove himself.
So to me, it's all like we're gonna make a
big deal about this because the time of year, and
this was said in season, you know, it would we
could literally just check the tape. Let's go back and
(18:31):
look at what Washington did this past week. You know,
are they good? Are they not? You know, is he
coming up with with some unique creative schemes. Is he
not all that stuff's gonna sort itself out as we
get closer the season with now eb not you know,
working for the Kansas City Chiefs and having the opportunity
to go somewhere else. Why doesn't Patrick Mahomes come out
and been more vocal about Eric Bienimy because he doesn't
(18:52):
need to, Like, there's no reason for him to get
caught up in any minutia situations. Like the bottom line
is is that that Eric is going to get his
opportunity to show that he can be an assistant head
coach and a successful offensive coordinator um without Andy Reid.
I don't I don't think that Patrick Mahomes needs to
(19:14):
get involved. What what I mean? It's not gonna make
a like do you guys think it would make a
tremendous difference if he got caught up into the back
and forth about he gave him his propers after the game.
He gave Eric the enemy and the coaching staff they
are props after the game. I mean, I think he said,
wouldn't need it to be said, and he moved on
from it. They thought they were underdogs. They they proved
(19:35):
everybody that they weren't, and it's it's valid there you go,
people thought they were going to make the playoffs. Jonas
is like sending something more, you know, Jonas trying to
get something more than I don't think Patrick Mahomes and
Eric the Enemy got along. That's I don't think they
got along. I think there was some friction there and
(19:56):
maybe Patrick Mahomes is like, all right, good ridden, He's
going to go somewhere else. Feel that there was a
report that came out, I think it was last offseason
that said there was some maybe some tension there, which
led to the question about whether or not Eric b
Enemy was going to come back last year because this
was on the table and a part of the conversation
(20:17):
a year ago. They had that little disagreement on the
field this past season, and you know, it looked like
they they got heated almost or whatever, and they both
sort of downplayed it afterwards. But it feels like there's
just something more there that maybe that dynamic between b
Enemy and some people in Kansas City wasn't as nice
as everybody is trying to make it out to be.
(20:39):
But I'll put it this way, and my experience being
on a number of teams. You know, sometimes you'll get
coaching staffs that divide up the situations to put together
some of the plays. So the passing game, you know,
it may not be Eric b Enemy's responsibility. You know,
that could be on Andy Reid, Matteggie someone else. And
(21:01):
then when you go to like red zone, third down,
shore yardage, like all those situations that might fall on
some other coaches on their staff where they're kind of
coming up with the presentation what the defense is going
to try to do well, we're trying to do offensively.
You know, sometimes it just depends on how they divvy
up those tasks. I mean, I will say this, like
I have not been a part of a team, and
(21:23):
Anthony Lynde's name was mentioned. He's one of the only
running back coach next to Eric Studisville, who had been
around that had played more of a role in some
of those presentations and some of that stuff. But that's it.
I mean, it wasn't like you had a ton of
running backs coaches who were presenting stuff on the passing game.
It was usually the head coach if he's an offensive
(21:44):
mine or oc sometimes quarterback coach and kind of wide
receivers coach all, you know, coupling up on that. And
again that's not to say that that running back coach can't.
It's just it's not the role in which they are
designated within that coaching staff. So everyone could honestly be
right to a degree, and it's it's honestly just Lashawan
McCoy's perspective on what he saw, what he observed, why
(22:07):
he was there. But as as you said, var like,
they don't know what's going on behind the scenes in
those closed door means with the coaching staffs, it could
be something entirely different. And I think Ron Rivera alluded
to the fact that they were going to be sort
of a run first offense this upcoming season. Sam Howell
is the starting quarterback, whether that stays the case or not.
But and if that's the case, if you do have
(22:29):
the enemy, wouldn't that make sense making him the higher
If this really is going to be a run first
offense and that's his specialty, doesn't this make it be
more fantastic? Yeah, because they don't. They don't run the ball, right,
they don't they were able to run. I'm saying no,
I'm saying in Washington, I don't know they were able
(22:49):
to run. They don't like I'm saying, Ron Rivera was
saying that in Washington that the plan was they were
going to be a run first offense. So to bring
in Eric b Enemy does make a lot of sense.
What are you guys getting at? You people? Is that why?
(23:12):
You know what? I'm just going dressed that you know
what we are? We not gonna acknowledge? Are we not
gonna acknowledge Christian McCaffrey? Yeah, I dare you? I mean
I was fantasy ranked last year. I don't know. They
ran it in the Super Bowl though? Yeah? Yeah, how
did they have to? Why Why did San Francisco have
to wait to get Christian McCaffrey to be able to rope? So?
(23:38):
How did it do it? Christian? Well, let me tell
you something. I haven't twentieth in the league. Good, No, no,
not really, but the yards yards for temp were good? Yeah,
I mean, let's I'm just checking out Christian McCaffrey's off season.
I just want to make sure that he's fully recovered.
I know he's had some Nay, they got the same
offseason play, he's had some nagging injuries and strong plan. Yes,
(23:59):
I mean, hey, are you good. Are you gonna do? God?
Am I gonna send this over? Yeah? So it's just yeah,
there's a lot a lot happening. What's wrong with you, Jo?
What are you talking about? I can't do some run game? Okay,
I'm listen. I'm looking at running backs right now. I'm
looking at Christian McCaffrey's offseason. I'm just trying to make
sure everything is going well for him. I don't think
(24:20):
I need to be judged. That's why they call me
show prep. Jesus make this stuff. They don't call me
that they did. I thought you called me that. You know,
I would have thought a guy like Christian McCaffrey would
actually not be as flea of foot or a light
on his toes as he is, you know, like he
like might be fatigued or something. Yeah, it's hired. Yeah,
(24:43):
a little weak. Yeah, the knees. At the knees, that
makes sense for strong, strong toes. Wow, strong feet, but
wait on wow, can't wait for the snow. I'll tell
you that. Wow. Can't wait for the snow. My I mean,
there's a little bit of snow past the Bob's you know. Oh,
I don't know. That's camouflage is they call that? Yeah, No,
(25:05):
that's something else minus the flash. Um, well, here we go, warm, warm,
warm attire. I'm the biggest forty Niners fan. Tell you what,
I'm a fan of snow. They look right there. Reminds
me of a dollar shave club. Still over paying for
a razor winter hairs in this economy. From that's gross.
(25:27):
With dollars Shave Club, you can get a top shelf
shave at a regular shelf price. Dollar Shave Club is
available at a store near you in the men's razor aisle.
That's it. That's the ad. All right, two pros and
a cup of Joe. Here on Fox Sports Radio, LaVar Arrington,
Brady Quinn, Jonas Knox with you here. So coming up
in another edition of In case you missed it in
about twelve minutes from now. We've got a record that
(25:47):
has been broken in the National Football League. We'll get
into the details on that for you here on FSR.
But Brady Quinn, I mean you got to you gotta
speak and answer for something that happened in the NFL. Right.
You're Cleveland Browns, Right, Mike Preefer brings them their first
playoff win in almost three decades, and how do they
(26:11):
thank him? They send it to Baker Mayfield Island and
they get rid of him in an odd move late
in the hiring process as far as coaching staffs go.
So now he's out as the Special team's coach and
there's the report out that Bubba Ventrone is going to
be the likely replacement there from Indianapolis over to Cleveland.
(26:32):
What the hell's going on with the Cleveland Browns? Just
a heartless, heartless move by this organization. People will probably
listen to that going who like, who are we talking about?
So if you'll recall when Cleveland played the Pittsburgh Steelers
in Pittsburgh, Kevin stefansgeb covid and so he couldn't coach
(26:52):
that game, they elected that Mike Preefer served as the
interim head coach for that playoff game. So that's why
you're saying what you're saying. But either way, it's odd
in the as far as this timing of the year,
thinking that you know you're going to move on from
a special teams coach who's well regarded in the NFL.
I mean, Mike Preef for won't have any issues getting
another job. They must have really just won a Bubba
(27:14):
Ventron And as Shane stike In takes over in Indianapolis,
which I would have thought he would wanted to keep
Bubba Vtron Bubba Poyt in Cleveland. I was there with him.
He was one hell of a special teams player. He's
a great coach. He's one of those kind of rising
stars that should probably get some head coaching consideration at
some point as a special teams coach, kind of that
(27:35):
John Horbaugh track. But yeah, I think it just comes
down to more of that. If you're Kevin Stevanski, you're
filling the heat a bit with what's going on. You
go find the best guy you can to maybe move
on from Mike Preef for let him go get another job,
and you bring in Bubba Vantron, a guy who's been there,
played there, hess an equity with the organization. Yeah, how
come more special teams coaches don't get head coaching? Looks
(27:56):
like Dave Tobe, Like, what's Dave Tobe got to do
in order to get an opportunity to be a head coach.
He's getting Vic fangioed out here on the In this
coaching world, it's unfair special teams guys got love well,
you know, just has to take forever to finally get
an opportunity. And then he does get an opportunity, and
it's kind of a quickly short leash rather in Denver,
(28:16):
and now he's you know, now he's got to settle
for four points something million dollars and go coach in
South Beach and be a defensive coordinator, like he should
be a head coach somewhere, but he got disrespected by
the Denver Broncos and so now he's looking around and
he's probably not going to get another opportunity. And then
you've got all these special teams guys out there trying
to trying to do great things, Like Rich Bisaccia did
(28:38):
a good job when he passion, Yeah, a little bit
Bisaccia pies on passion. Berto, would you have rather had
Bisaccia than McDaniels this season? Was that something you'd rather
have if you had your choice? Berto? Would you rather
have Rich bisacci as your head coach than Josh McDaniels, Hey, Berto,
would you rather have Chisca or Josh McDaniels Both bumps? Okay, Well,
(29:04):
I kind of feel like it was going that direction. Yeah,
ask him one more time. I feel like there's a
couple of times you'd asked the same question. Yeah, I'm
just making sure that everybody's on the same page. Here.
A lot going on behind the scenes, that's what I've heard. Yeah,
if you think about it too, though, special teams coaches,
they usually are touching each side of the team offense, defense, situationally.
They're always a part of the decision making process of
(29:27):
you know, kicking field goals, you know, on site kicks,
going for it when they're punning when they're not, a
lot of special teams coaches help head coaches manage the game,
and so if you're looking for a head coach that
can kind of manage and oversee everything, it makes a
lot of sense, you know. I am surprised that we
don't see more special teams coaches not get an opportunity
(29:48):
to be able to have a shot at a head
coaching job, and then you let your coordinators, you know,
do their thing. I think the toughest thing is for
guys who are special teams coordinators, you have to be
able to scheme an offense and defense. I think coaches
that struggle at the NFL level who can't come in
and identify what their offense is doing wrong, what their
(30:09):
defense is doing wrong, make those adjustments. It's in large
part because they probably don't have any experience calling plays
on either one of those sides of the ball, and
that's where they end up getting themselves in trouble. If
they can't walk into that coaches meeting and diagnose what
they need to do right, if they're overseeing the whole thing,
that's a problem. And we've seen coaches in recent years
(30:29):
obviously have issues being able to hang on as a
head coach because they couldn't figure out how to fix it.

our executive producer, Lead Fellas. Hey Lee, Hey guys. Well,
(32:38):
the new loop. The new league year has a new loop.
The new league year hasn't quite started yet, but a
record has already been broken. Uh player cap hit has
never topped thirty nine million dollars, but get ready for this.
Deshaun Watson's cap hit will be fifty four point nine,
far in a way above the largest cap hit in
NFL history. Let me go, still making history. Couldn't have
(33:03):
it to a better guy. Let see, right, Well, just
somebody who's really done it right. It's a very high number.
Fifty five million dollars and I believe it's going to
be that number until twenty twenty six. Say they say
we're hitting an economic recession. You know, people have been
(33:26):
preparing fiscally for a very very bad economic meltdown. I
guess that doesn't apply to everyone. I mean, if you're
the if you're the Ravens and you're Steve Bischotti and
you're just that front office there, you're just looking at
the Browns every time the discussion turns to trying to
get a deal, dumb with Lamar Jackson and thinking you've
(33:47):
ruined this for us. I mean, it is a divisional opponent,
think about it. And even with all that, like Kyler
Murray got a deal, and you've seen other quarterbacks get contracts,
says like that, and that's still the sticking point. Yeah
like that, Yeah, wow, fifty foul. But two, they're like
(34:09):
Stefanski's on the hot seat this year. Correct If they
come out and they're disappointing again, I can't imagine he's
brought back for another year. You have to think so.
I mean. But also, I mean when you think if
Watson's disappointing, there's some buyer's remorse there too. Oh my gosh.
If he's good. There's buyer's remorse. Why you had better
be phenomenal at that figure, I mean, like fifty four
(34:37):
salary cap million dollars. Reason better that, Hey, Nashan, you
had better be fhenomenal. I don't know. Maybe maybe maybe
good is okay? Two thirty guaranteed though, it's good work?
Is that the time? Dad? Dang, that's a lot of numbers. Guy,
(35:00):
there's already a tradition that's uh, that's celebrated in DC though.
That's for the DC defenders. They like making a beer snake.
You guys know where a beer snake goes? Yeah, everybody
does that. Yeah. Well, unfortunately that's the best I don't
know what that is. Well, the the security at the
DC Arena, I believe that's the AUDI field out in
DC aren't the biggest fans of it. They took away
(35:20):
the beer snake. Well, fans retaliated by throwing lemons on
the field during the game. And the DC Defenders, uh,
they had a fourteen point rally ended up winning that
game twenty two eighteen. They did once, So now that's
a tradition. They're gonna start throwing lemons on the field.
I don't know where. I've been trying to figure out
what's up with the lemons? Where they get the lemons? Yeah,
they were throwing it at Were they hold the whole
(35:42):
lemons or were they like pulled from the long Island
and thrown on it. No, they're like whole lemons. That's weird.
Oh yeah, what do you think? They have a lemonade
stand somewhere like ravage the lemonade stand a little strange.
They passed these lemons out, We're gonna we're gonna throw them.
And by the way, if that's the that's the memo.
If that's one of the takeaways from one of the
(36:02):
better games of the opening weekend of the ex pretty good. Yeah,
that might be problematic though. Quarterback was pretty good for
the Defenders. Washington. Who was it? Who is the quarterback
for the Defenders? I forget his name, but I don't know.
I'm a USFL guy. I don't support X great point.
I'm with you. Looked like he looked like a Kyler
Murray Kyler Mary. Yeah, same height, same look looked like
(36:27):
super Mario running around. That's Pep Hamilton's pet Hamilton. Where's
he from the coach? Yeah, Pep is the coach's fastening
Geez from Michigan. I'm sorry, Yeah, that sounds right. Where's
he from? Can I get it straight? As Doug Peters, Well,
he was at Miami before that is at Houston. Okay.
(36:52):
I mean you're saying pro pro teams or college, no
for the college for college. Okay. He was pretty good, man,
it was Yeah, I mean he looked like Kylamari out there. Yeah.
But it at the USFL and that real season starts
in April. Yeah. Are they staying in Alabama this year?
Are they moving moving around a little bit? Yeah? I
(37:14):
mean because they're playing home games and and this this
this one that the Rocks League, Well they had to
play that Outhouse Legion field last year, which is unfortunate.
That's always a bad sign in Alabama, right, yeah, yeah, yeah,
Well it just it just redid that. Well what I
was there wasn't red done. And that's what I'm going
(37:35):
off of. There was a twenty ten Yeah, listen, but
that's all I got. What else we got lee a
lot of rain guys. In an anticipated move, the British
Open won't ban live golfers from competing at the Royal
in Liverpool. Royal Liverpool, uh saying they're going to keep
the open open or the all players. This is so dumb, like, like, well,
(37:58):
why why why is this still the hang up for people?
This live golf like all that stuff, like just let
him play if you if you if you don't want
to like exclude him from certain tournaments, that's fine. But
if you've got big tournaments, don't you want the best
players in the world to be a part of it.
And some of the best players in the world are
part of live Golf. I just this whole thing is ridiculous.
(38:18):
Is Rory McRoy still upset? Is he still offended by us?
He's kind of changed his tune. I don't know that
lives roster is as competitive as the PGAs at this point.
They they got good golfer would like to say otherwise,
they've got good guys there, don't they. They've got h Yeah,
I mean and they're gone the CW network. Is that
(38:40):
what the the latest deal is there? On there? Yeah?
I did a show on to c W. Did you
really locally? Yeah? Up on Game? No? No? No? It
was Le Arrington Show with Chad Dukes. Really yeah, I
love that, you know? Chat? Yeah? Okay, that's pretty cool.
(39:01):
Shouts off the chat. Yeah, it's up chat he it
was a funny dude. Chat Dukes. Never heard of him,
Come on, man, what up? Yeah, if you're in the
DC area, you know Chat Dukes definitely do. Yeah. Legend
radio legend, big time man taught me the game. Well
that's why I'm good with you guys. Yeah. Now it's
(39:22):
Jonas on the game. Put him up on a game, Brady. Yeah,
