quarterback going on in the NFC South. You know that
division that was I think maybe the worst division in

(01:24):
all of football. But we're going to find out who
picked the winners from that division coming up here. As
we look back on our season picks, and there were
some bad ones. I've already gotten a glimpses to some
of my picks from before the year, So we're gonna
get to that later on this hour. But Jeff Darlington
Brady's drinking Buddy on St. Patty's Day every year of ESPN,
he says that Kyle Trask is likely to be the

(01:47):
starting quarterback Week one of the season for the Tampa
Bay Buccaneers, and that GM Jason Ltte believes he's the
best quarterback in the division. And so the current quarterbacks
in the NFC South right now, LeVar your guy, Matt
Matt Corral, Jacob Eason, Desmond Ritter, Marcus Mariota, Logan Woodside,

(02:10):
Jameis Winston, Jake Luton, and then Taysom Hill. So that
is the list of quarterbacks and that is why the
GM for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers feels like Kyle Trask
is the best of the bunch. What about outside of
the South. I'm just saying right now, these are these
are guys that are under contract. But what I'm saying
is is, if you're basing what the success of your

(02:32):
team is going to be during the season, if the
list of quarterbacks are that poor, what are you basing
your comparison off of the list of poor quarterbacks? You
know what I mean? Like, Okay, so you have the
best quarterback in the NFC South, but what about the
rest of the NFC. Well, yeah, why don't you want
to have a quarterback that can help you compete against

(02:54):
the teams that don't have a quarterback that's either unproven
or just not con there to be an elite quarterback.
But he just retired, so they're they're looking around going
and they were the way their salary cap is at there,
I think they're way over the cap right now. I
think they're so so I don't know what their options
are as far as a quarterback goes. But nonetheless, it
looks like it's going to be Kyle Trask and Tampa

(03:15):
Bay to take over for Tom Brady and the Buccaneers.
So this is Top Bowls is last year? As the
hit coach. Oh, come on a little face. I was
asking a question. I wasn't making a statement. It was
a question. Y'all's response answered my question, So we can
move on. Y'all's response was the answer the good They
should feel good about Trask. They draft in the second round, yes,

(03:38):
and I mean did they trade It's kind of irrelevant. Yeah,
it's where they took him. But if they take him
the second round, you'd think that they feel good enough
to take him there. I mean, bottom line is, eventually
he was gonna get a shot to be the guy.
So this is that opportunity now for him. But so
is this the Top Bowls is last year? If if
it don't work out, yeah, probably, I mean I said

(04:01):
it to you guys before. I think there's some teams
setting up to get killab Williams and Drake may I
just I think that's what teams are setting up to do.
They're two of the better prospects we've seen in quite
some time, and I think that's what some of these
teams can be setting up for. It sounds awful. But
I'm telling you right now, that's if you're looking across
the league, and if you don't have a Patrick Mahomes,

(04:24):
if you don't have a Joe Burrow, if you don't
have a Josh Allen, probably a Justin Herbert falls in
that category, you don't get a shot. That's just the
truth of the matter. Jaylor Hurts, you know, I think
it's developed into that. Although you know that roster, they've
got a ton of free agents, you know, two on

(04:44):
the offensive line, two on the defensive line, a couple
of players in the secondary, Edwards, a linebacker, you know,
Sanders at running back, they've got They've got a Pascal
and wide receiver. They've got a number of guys who
are going to be free agents, and Hurts has to
be extended. So you know they're gonna they're gonna fall
into that category of how does Howie Roseman build it
that roster around Hurts on his second deal because he's

(05:06):
gonna get paid. And then we'll see how Hurts is
able to manage all of that because we've seen him
Holmes now for years on his rookie deal and not
his rookie deal be able to manage the whole thing.
You know, the Bengals are about ready to experience that
with Burrow. So what happens with t Higgins? You know
that can they afford to keep him or is he
gonna be traded off? You know, there's just there's all

(05:29):
those scenarios and how you're able to do it. And
I know a bunch of people think that you can't
pay your quarterback still win super Bowls. No you can.
No one said you can't do that. But your quarterback's
got to be special. He's got to be the type
of guy that can elevate the level of everyone else
out around him. Now, look in regards of the Bucks,
maybe they feel like Kyle Trask has the ability to
do some of that. We'll have to wait and see,

(05:51):
but I think more often than not, they look at
guys like Kittle Williams and Drake May in college right
now and they go, that's who I'd like to set
myself off up to be able to go get in
the twenty twenty four draft because they look like that
those types of players. The NFC South is the NFC
East of this year, coming up of the season coming up,

(06:13):
you're really coming hard at the NFC South today, I'm
just saying the NFC East was supposed to be considered
to be the poorest of divisions coming into this season,
and they they actually exceeded expectations. Right, You had the
Eagles play in the Super Bowl, they played well, the

(06:35):
Giants re resurge or re emergence as as a good team.
Washington closed out the season pretty pretty strong, and you
had Dallas that that made it into the playoffs. So
you know, there's the opportunity, there's the chance that they could,
you know, exceed expectations as it applies to you know

(06:59):
what the season looks like. But today today I'm I'm
not I'm not high on the South. They're they're the
new to me. I'm projecting them to be the division
that you say is like the poor's division, Like that's
the poor division. Well with Tom Brady, the division winner
won eight games last year, so that ought to tell you.

(07:22):
And they were an underdog at home against the Cowboys
in a playoff game and that game got t Yeah,
and that game wasn't even closed. So I just what
happened to Jameis Winston. I thought Jameis Winston and New
Orleans was going to be the perfect setup. And then
the weird stuff that was happening last year where Andy
Dalton threw like three or four picks against Arizona and

(07:42):
still got to keep his job, and they just rolled
with that for the remainder of the year, and it
felt like Taysom Hill was getting more love at the
end of the year. I know Jameis Winston was dealing
with some injuries, but I thought Jameis Winston and New
Orleans was was a movie. I was going to pay
off thinking the same thing what happened to Jameis Winston
because he does weird offseason workouts. He's not in a
hobbit hole like Aaron Rodgers, and so now he just

(08:05):
loses an opportunity to play again. This is terrible, maybe
because he's in the in the cannibalism, I didn't he
try to eat U on hand? Weird? It was a
dug in point. It was a w good point. It
was it was a flesh w yea And yeah, I
just that that weird to me out in so many
different ways. Yeah, the little little damer going on there,

(08:27):
He's really gonna do this? Is he really gonna off?
If you I mean he was enjoying it. If if
you had a teammate do that in a huddle, would
you ever look at him the same? Again, if he
was trying to get you fired up, if he would
have broke out a bottle of hot sauce, I would
have been through like that's like, yeah, hot sauce. W.
Would you've asked for a trade immediately after the game?

(08:49):
I would have. I would have wondered, or is your
mental stability okay? Like are we good? You're you're trying
to eat a W like you you literally ate your W.
I mean, is it worse than stealing crabs from a
public because he did that. I mean he explained that

(09:10):
story before, by the way, which you know it wasn't
as it wasn't like I kind of feel like it
was like, who thought it was more of a hookup?
It was That's what it was. It was like he
went in there. I was like, all right, I'm trying
to sneak him out, like he had a guy who
was hooking him up and that got caught. He's getting
what he's got a crab deal and that happens. That

(09:31):
happens at Florida State. I mean, some guy's got a
crab deal come out of Vegas. It just depends on
what kind of crab do you. Some people get crab
deals no matter where you live. That's how you're roll.
It be Chocolate City, it could be. It's true. Yeah,
that is true. I didn't think about that part. That's
that's a great point. Again. You guys are on it today. Man.
The crabs true yeah, m m yeah, tough to cook. Yeah,

(09:58):
you don't want any of them crabsh yeah. Yeah, so
big the LEEU if they're If they're that big, you're
in trouble. Yeah, that's all I'll say, trouble. Get what
you're saying for sure. That makes all the sense in

(10:19):
the world. Man. All right, So that is that's an
update on the quarterback situation in the NFC. S Well,
I mean, like what else? What else? It's shaping up
to be the worst division. Hold on, let me let
me throw this out there. But the Bucks won last
year eight nine. Yes, and if you guys think that

(10:41):
like anyone's gonna finish better than that this year they
have going in the season, No, not not based off
of what we're looking at. Eight eight is is pretty
what is that? That's ambitious? I think Carolina is going
to win the division with you on that. That's my
early picks. Whatever it is, I think Carolina's got talent there.

(11:02):
And if they do land a quarterback in the draft,
if that's the direction they want to go, or they
who knows, go free agency or land one of these
veterans that feels like a team that you look at
and go, they could make a jump. No offense to
Matt rule and what happened last year, but they did.
They were in contention of Frank Reich and a young

(11:23):
quarterback too. He's done it before. He had wentz young
some of his best time there. I just I feel
like he's got experience doing that, and I think if
they draft one, they play one right away, that could
work unless it ends up being a veteran. I'm just
I'm not sure who that veteran would be. And as
I said before, they've gone that route. If I'm David Tepper,

(11:44):
I'm like, man, I'm not sure I want to do
this again. I'd rather just go with a young guy.
We drafted the top ten and invest him to that guy.
And by the way, Frank Reich went that route in
Indianapolis and got burned. I just think in Atlanta is
a Atlanta is a to me there striguing team. That's
an intriguing team because they were competitive. They were competitive

(12:05):
with Mariota at quarterback, and and I think Pitts went out.
I think he got hurt or something to that effect.
This year. I mean, they have some real tools to
be able to win. They showed that they can be
a very competitive football team. I think that's the most
intriguing team to look at out depending on who they

(12:27):
have at quarterback. But I like Atlanta, I don't. I
think they did my guy, Calvin Ridley a little dirty personally.
But you know, guy can't place a parlay or two
for fifteen hundred dollars and then you're just gonna like
send him off to Jacksonville like that. And what will
Tampa Bay's defense look like? I mean, how what's the

(12:48):
you know, what's the retention there, who's coming back, who's leaving?
I think that will play a major party. They kind
of let them down, Not not kind of they they
they let their team down this year. They were supposed
to be a better defense than what they showed this year,
especially in that playoff game. They just did not look
like the defense that helped lead them to all the

(13:11):
success that they had when Tom Brady got there. You know,
you mentioned Atlanta one of the stories that's been thrown
out there, and again, this could all just be garbage,
but this is one of the things that has been
thrown out as a possibility that you know, maybe Atlanta
calls the Bears and says, how much do you really
like Justin Fields? And maybe they make a move and

(13:33):
the Bears go ahead and take Bryce Young at number
one of the one of the ideas that's been thrown
out there if you want to fix that quarterback position
in Atlantic, because they're sitting at nine, So are sitting
at eight rather so I don't know who's going to
be sitting there for them if they don't believe in
Desmond Ritter. But you could upgrade the position and grab
Justin Fields, who is from Georgia if I'm not mistaken

(13:54):
from the area, So a little bit of a homecoming there.
Why does everyone, though, always make it about where the
players from. It's important, is it? Yeah? Hell yeah? Come on?
Why it's that important? Okay? Like, why do you and
I connect because we're both from Ohio? Like LaVar like
what it like? All this stuff makes sense, you know.
Here's the thing is. On a real note, there's probably

(14:17):
some people that take letit a bit offense to that
because you're definitely not from Ohio are you talking about?
I mean, it's really like, no different than if he
claimed yous from pas from I am not there too,
the big thirty three that was named after me. Nobody
responds to you, though, what are you talking about? Nobody?
If you were there, no one would respond to you.

(14:37):
I think it's humorous. There's someone out there right now
who would would kick your ass for trying to claim this.
Well before they kick my ass, they can kiss my ass.
I can be from wherever I want to be from.
So if I want to be from Dublin or from
the Burg, I can do both. I've been to Dublin,
all right, Well I've been from it's been you've been there.
One time. One was enough. I showed Q how how

(14:59):
people are in those situations. Like you know, when we
were at Penn State and we were doing a big
dune show, I showed I mean, there was a demonstration
of it's different when you know when somebody that isn't
from there they know, we know. Yeah, Rob Stone was
trying to get the crowd pumped up. Yeah it was
funny and show them what it really meant. That's right.
Rob was like we are. They were like we are.

(15:20):
They were looking at Rob like you're not what they
say we are. Rob think he was doing an mlam
or something. One more time, How did you write it,
Rob South, It was like we are, Hey, guys, we are.
Tend it turned into a question, like a real It
wasn't a chance, it turned into a real question like

(15:41):
we we are? Are we? And then you took it
from there. Well, I just had to help help out.
You know. It hits differently when when you're from where
you say you're from, or if you're part of the
mob that you're a part of. We just you know,
you recognize one another. Just like when even in the
midst of a hostile environment, you know, urban throughout the

(16:05):
oh And there were enough people there where it resonated.
They finished it off. You're not from Ohio, You're not
from Pittsburgh or PA. Now just accept it, man, It's okay.
That's the problem is if you ever made it out
to Big Noon, they'd be able to sniff out the
fact that you're not one of them, especially in the Midwes.

(16:26):
I would prepare for the occasion, so I would you
would you would be dressed how you normally dress. It's
not true. I would love to hear you scream we
are okay at a Penn State gay. I would love
to hear it. I mean I would show up first
of all, I would go on the gas immediately after whatever.
If we decide all right, we're gonna bring you out

(16:46):
to Big Neon kickoff like whatever I could possibly get
my hands on, I'd go on the gas and I
would be torn up from the floor up. And I
would show up. I mean, because if I'm going to
Ohio here here would be the movie. That's how you
dress in Ohio. Dockers, ferry boat shoes that's messed up,

(17:08):
and a polo shirt that's messed up. Why is that
messed up? Maybe I'm made up? Maybe a Hollister coat,
you know, depending on what the weather's like. Hollister, Who
are you coming at right now? Are you going after
to meet? Well? I'm not going after now you're going
out now? They know they dressed with class, all right?
That is that wasn't classy? What you just said. No,
I'm just saying that I wanted to. They wouldn't even
swing at you, they'd slap you. I'm like, you just

(17:29):
get slapped. But that's how disrespectful would be. This is
just I don't think violence is the answer. But again,
I grew up in Pittsburgh, so maybe you guys do.
Now you're gonna switch Totsburgh. I'm a whore. I'll go
from Ohio to Pittsburgh. You're gonna get that horse slap
right on back to where you came from. The Pittsburg Yo.

(17:50):
It is two pros and a cup of Joe. Here

Arrington and Jonas Knox weekdays at six am Eastern three

Our entire show needs therapy. We need therapy and we

(18:34):
need a bad So let gonna say, I mean, there's
a fair questions though, all right, how are you going
to propose this to Brady? All right, let's do let's
do the I d Let's let's do Two Pros and
a Cup of Joe, Fox Sports Radio, LaVar Arrington, Brady Quinn,
Jonas Knox with you here. You can listen to This
show is always on the iHeartRadio apps. So coming up,

(18:55):
we are going to take a look back. We're going
to be accountable for some bad decisions and bad choices
that we made before the NFL seasons, and that'll be
coming up. All right now, Q, you you're not hurting
for money anymore in life, so this this could be
a weird question in terms of how you, uh, you know,
kind of assess it. But can you remember the time

(19:17):
in your life where you didn't have money? Yeah? All right,
So and you can recall the things that you know,
did money ever motivate you? Anoint I wouldn't say it
wasn't so much motivating. It was just like, I mean,
I played a role in it. It played it was there, Yeah,

(19:38):
I mean like I had a job in part. Like
when I was growing up, my mom and dad always
wanted me to have a strong work ethic. So my
dad built homes and I was young, he used to
take me to go pick up nails, you know, like
you would never believe how many wasted nails you'd see
on the ground of like a newly constructed home, and
like we'd be going around picking them up, helping them

(19:58):
clean up the job site. And you know, they didn't
Did you fix the nails? We wouldn't fix them. I'd
be picking them up so other people would step on them,
and then we just kind of put them in a
bag and some of them they'd reuse. Something they just
throw out. But that was probably back when I was
I don't know, nine, ten years old, and my dad
used to take me when he would salt and plow.
He used to take me early in the morning and

(20:19):
I'd go out with him and help him and I'd pay,
you know, help with the salt spread or help shovel
the walks, like things like that. But that was more
because I knew there was like a reward on the
other side. And then it was like no different when
I got like a job and I was in high school,
it was in part what they wanted, but also so
I could have a little extra money so I didn't
have to ask them for money. So I guess in
a way I was motivated like that, but I didn't.

(20:39):
I wasn't like, you know, I need to do this
just to have some money so I can go be
rich or something. Was there ever a point where you
were in sports and you were in life old enough
to to like, you know, think about what life would
be like am I going to make it to the pros?
Or like maybe you have the doubt, like or what

(20:59):
is it that I'm gonna be in? Like do you
remember that moment in your life if you had one? Oh,
of course, Okay, my sophomore year of college. Perfect. That's
where I was trying to go. All right, here we go.
Now the stage is set, all right? Can you explain
why the stage is set? Though? Okay, so we're sitting
here and I didn't want to give it away. I
didn't want to give it away. So during the break,
I go into the control room and I'm talking to

(21:20):
Lee and burto um. We're watching in Decent Proposal. Why
wouldn't you be in the morning? And Decent Proposal is
the movie with Demi Moore, Robert Ridford and Woody Harrelson.
And we just found out Billy Bob Thornton was in
this movie too, the rubby Billy Bob, not not just anyone. Um.

(21:41):
And so I asked, well, I don't want to get
Lee in trouble. Though Berto passes the sniff test, Lee didn't.
But I'm saying to you sophomore year of college, say
you have a girlfriend, and you're in your sophomore year,
you're thinking the way that you're thinking, and a billion

(22:04):
nearest girl approaches you and says, I'll give you everything
that you want you could ever imagine dream of in
your life. I just want to have you for I
don't know, you know what a night. It was a night.
One night I'm gonna give you. I'm gonna give you
a million dollars for one night. But then after the

(22:24):
one night, she's like, I want you to basically be
with me, like, I'll give you everything you want. I
want you to be with me. Would you leave? Did you?
First of all, did you have a girlfriend your sophomore year?
I did. I had a high school sweetheart. Would you
have left your high school? This is it makes it
even more perfect. Would you have left your high school
sweetheart for that proposal? No? I was. I was way

(22:49):
too smitten with my high school sweetheart at that point
in time. So dang, yeah, I had a high school
sweetheart too. What are you doing? I'm up, I'm I'm
a looker in her face and I'll be like, there's
just some things in life that they're heart decisions that
have to be made. I think that you're meant to

(23:13):
be happy in life. I'm meant to be happy in life. Um,
I want you to be happy. It's just not going
to be with me right now. I might is this person,
uh maybe they're they're they're older. So Robert Ritford is

(23:33):
clearly older than Demi Moore in the movie. So let's
just say she's let's just say she's a donor, an
alumni that's a donor to the school, and she's saying
her forties. I mean, what does she look like. Well,
Robert Ritford's a good looking dude, So Demi Moore is

(23:56):
a good looking chick. So if you're rolling reversing, you know,
Brady Quinn's a good looking dude, So you'd have to
assume the Billionaires is a good looking chick. She looks
like Debbie Mooret. She looks like Demi Moore. That that'd
be hard to pass up if that was the case.
She looks like dim me more. Yeah. Now let's I
add that to it. Now you're changing the narratives a

(24:17):
little bit. I mean, I would say the movie I
did say it was No. I didn't say it was
no fuggly. That's you know, it's like a grandma. No,
they're they're not a sugar. You're not a sugar. You're
not getting a sugar mama, per se, even though it
is that is one hundred percent what it is. But
you're getting like, uh, you know, like, yeah, we're talking

(24:38):
Demi Moore. We're talking Zach Wilson type yeah. Yeah, yeah,
we're not talking Michael Moore talking to Zach Wilson type action.
It's not it's not Lancemore. We're talking to me more. Yeah.
In her prime. Okay, so go did me More? It's
did me More? It's like sixty right now too, by
the way, Yeah, it's a it's the it's the indecent proposal,
Demi Moore, it's the I Jane did me More? Oh

(25:02):
that's not me. That's not good for you. I mean
that that age the young young. Yeah, I know, I know,
I'm just a season. I'll beat the hell out of
Will Smith that way with that. Hey look here's a
dormat anyways. Hey, you already know it is. Answer would
be I'm talking the age range like that's that's that

(25:25):
the era of of did me More? Not not the
the one now that that one that Ashton Kutcher did
me More? Are you going? I don't know, I'd be
pretty tough to turn down. Yeah, I'll put I'll put
it that way. That would be difficult to turn down.
I was the assumption you're talking about Jane Fonder or
something like that. I mean I would be up for

(25:46):
Jane Fonder Fond. I mean hell yes, like rocket like
like on the sidewalk, kissing her in the mouth, Jane Fonda,
Me and sophomore year in sixty five year old Jane

(26:07):
holding hands hitting to hitting to the waffle show you're at,
you're dating at Badrane just forty to death. Hey look here,
and then we're hopping in that role. We're hopping in
that take out a life insurance policy where you're the beneficient.
Hell yes, hell yes. First of all, the million for

(26:28):
the one day, for the one night would have been enough.
I'm gonna invest that. I'm gonna flip that. I'm gonna
be good with that, and then i'm gonna just you know,
that gave me a good thing. Yeah, I mean that
into I don't know, manou million of sophomore in high school.
Look at it, I'm a sophomore in college. I'm I'm
a sophomore in college in ninety eight and ninety eight,

(26:52):
Like a million dollars, I get me like three four
properties that I could rent out, you know, in on
in the college town. Yeah, hell yeah, I'm gonna flip that,
and then i'm gonna still had Look look here, then
I'm gonna still have me about two hundred two twenty
five two and a quarter liquid. Hell yeah, think about it.
I wasn't eating that, no, no nice restaurants. I was.

(27:14):
You're basically saying for one night I got. I would
have dance for yeah, yeah, what you want? Yeah, I'd
have had a leopard skin throng bikini on. I would
have been like Otis on chipping Dale's. Yeah, I you
never seen Otis out that bad boy. I would have

(27:38):
been tossing that thing around. Bro, What are you thinking
right now? I'm just uh, I just had to ask
because Lee Lee was on my side. I'm actually insulted
because he didn't ask me because he already knew what
my answer was. Yes, your your answer was wait wait.

(27:58):
The first thing you said, wait, are they purchasing my
wife away from me? I didn't want to know no more.
El Yeah, I didn't want to go any deeper down
that hole with you. I just didn't yeh way noope, Yeah,
stayed away from that. Berto thinking Berto said no. But
but I did not present it to Burto in the
same way Berto did say. If he was in year

(28:20):
one of fifteen, he's out. Well, I think if you
presented the option and it was you Nette Garcia, alright,
Berto's got a different answer. All right, what you say, Berto,
would you say your net Garcia? Look it up, billion billionaires?
Your net Garcia year year? She young though year five. Okay,

(28:42):
so say she's younger, well, I mean that's like now
she's in competition with her you're currently dating. Say she's younger,
this girl's thirty two though, and this isn't a realistic scenario.
Let's make it a realistic scenario. She's younger than you
and she's a billionaires and she wants you for a million. Well, see,

(29:02):
let's do inflation. So inflation doesn't need you for that
though at that point, But what if she does. What
if that's just what she wants. What if that's just
what she wants and she's telling Braiding Quinn for a million?
Why am I being the one? We're going back to Burton,
We're going back to burto I'm gonna give you my answer.

(29:24):
It's still a no, even if she's younger. Yeah, because
you are gonna get staged, right you You aren't. You
aren't going to be worth than the money. That's what
it's gonna be. He was gonna be sent away, y'all,
was gonna be midway through tonight, like nope. You know
there's a lot of Raiders fans out there really disappointed you, right, Yeah,
come on, I just want you to know that now

(29:45):
whatever I mean. They are pirates, right, aren't. Aren't Oakland
Raiders pirates? You're supposed to burn your own, your own
ship and take over somebody else's okay. I'm up. I
know that, I'm up. I'm with you. If she's younger
and she's and she's bad too, if she's older and
she's bad, if she's if she's one foot in in

(30:08):
the casket and she's bad, Jane Fonda bad? Jesus, where
are we going? We're jumping on a PJ. Where are
we going? We're going to grease? Where are we going?
French Riviera? You know I like I like boats, man,
You know I like ships. You know. I get on
the ship and it's a private ship. It ain't even

(30:28):
a cruise ship for people, cruise liner. It's it's our ship.
It's our moving foot in the grave. Huhe fo. You
got to bring a shovel to your blind date. You
got issue today? Look here, man, I'm hey, look here.
They need love to all right? Are you still over
paying for a raiser in this economy? Gross? With dollar

(30:49):
shave plub, you can get a top shelf shave and
a regular shelf price dollar shave club is available at
a store near you in the men's razor raile. That's it.

Sports Radio, LaVar Arrington, Brady Quinn Jonas knocks for they
here coming up top of next hour a little over
ten minutes from now from the tirerack dot Com studios.
We are going to discuss some interesting movement by one
team in the NFL and a little bit of reunion
involved with this movement. We'll get into that for you

(32:15):
again top of next hour here on Fox Sports Radio.
But it is time now that we own up some mistakes.
We may picks predictions easy for me to say before
the NFL season, and some of those were hot and
a lot of them were not. So lead the lap
as we look back on some of these picks that
we made before the year and how they all turned out,

(32:37):
What do we got, guys, We're just gonna kind of
go one by one. We'll start here with with you, Brady.
We're gonna go with your AFC picks. You had correctly
predicted the Bills and Chiefs to win their divisions. You
were you did pick Cincinnati in Baltimore, but you actually
picked Baltimore to win the division. But you had Since
in the wild card, and you correctly predicted the Chargers
to make it. So you had two divisions correct and

(32:59):
five out of the seven AFC teams in the NFC.
You went Green Bay. But you did have Minnesota in
the in the wild card, so you correctly had Minnesota
in the playoffs. Just uh, in correct, they're on Free Bay.
But you did get the Bucks, the Bucks winning the South.
You had the Rams. The Rams was not the good one,
obviously you didn't and you didn't even have Sam Frand

(33:21):
making the playoffs. And then you had Dallas winning winning
the East. Of course we all know Philly one. Dang,
you don't even have the Eagles on this list. No,
thank you, Well I had. I had the NFC East
being a competitive division, and I thought Dallas was gonna
kind of eat they were gonna eat each other up

(33:41):
a little bit. I'll tell you this much. I don't
know that Sam Fran makes it. This isn't throw Trey
Lancer to the bus. But Jimmy Garoppolo kind of saved
that season. Loffia Dish did. Yeah, did the Rams screwed everybody? Man? Like,
I mean, come on like that was horrible what they did.
That's not lady thaw off the stage. Yeah, I think

(34:02):
that was the shadowing. Yeah, that's what you're gay. You
throw somebody out of stage. That's what happened. Interesting, So
there you go, Brady. You had three out of the
seven NFC teams correct. You actually had the Cardinals, the Saints,
and we had mentioned the Rams as well making that
but obviously they none of those did. So LaVar onto
your teams in the AFC. You had the Ravens winning,

(34:24):
you had the Chiefs. You had the Titans and the
Bills all winning their divisions. Of course, you had the
Bills and Chiefs correct. Uh, nobody in fact got Jacksonville.
Jacksonville is a dirty I'll never trust the Titans again either.
You had predicted that since he would miss out on
the playoffs. Yeah, that was four while when you have
him on here. And then you had Steelers, Raiders, and
Chargers in the wild card. Of course, Chargers made the

(34:45):
Wild Cards, so didn't even make it. You also got
two of your AFC divisions correct, and four out of
seven in the AFC. Onto the NFC. You were the
only one who picked the Eagles to win the division. Yeah, ye,
but I'm about to fall off the cliff on it. Yeah.

(35:05):
Other than that, you also incorrectly picked the Rams and
the Packers to win their divisions. You had the Saints,
but you did have the Bucks in the wild cards.
You got that, and you also had the Vikings in
the wild cards. So you had one division correct, that
being the Eagles, and three out of your seven NFC
teams correct. Yeah, there we go. This is where this
is where we really get taught a lesson. Yeah, here
we go, right, yeah, here we go. Joe Nash, all right,

(35:29):
nay Nas all right, So Jonas, you two also picked
the Bills to win their division, but you didn't have
the Cheaps. You had the Chargers winning oh boy, the West,
but you did have the Chiefs in the wild card.
You had Ravens and Since in the playoffs. But you
two also had Ravens winning the division Since in the
wild card, and you had Indianapolis in the South. I

(35:53):
blame Jeff Saturday. I should not be held account of
all fra indian Appolis not winning a division. That's all
Jeff Saturday and Jim Hursay, who was at happy hour
when decided to fire Frank Reik, you went on a
limb and you picked the Raiders as your final wild
card spot. Nobody blamed Derek Carr. That's how I can't.
I'm not accepting blame for that. So nobody picked Miami
to make the wild card. Nobody picked Miami to make

(36:14):
the playoffs at all. We did mention in our predictions
that they were the dark horse for most people, but
nobody actually correctly to predicted them to make the playoffs.
In your NFC Jonas, you had the Cowboys winning the East,
you had the Cardinals in the West. You two had
the Packers in the North, but you correctly predicted the

(36:34):
Bucks in the South. So you had Hey one of four,
one of four there, and then you had the Rams,
Saints and Vikings in your in your wild card. God really,
so nobody picked Seattle, nobody picked the Giants, nobody picked Jacksonville,
nobody picked San Francisco's not well, excuse me, San Francco. Yeah,
but the other ones, and nobody had Miami. What were

(36:56):
the Super Bowl picks? All right, So this is where
it all comes down to. Everybody had green Bay in
the Super Bowl. Oh no, everybody had green Bay in
the Super Bowl. Jonas, you had the Packers beating the Chargers,
the Ravens beating the Packers, and Brady you had the
Packers beating the Chiefs. That Brady is the only one

(37:18):
who correctly predicted. Yeah, yeah, close. Apparently I should have
visited that three hundred square foot hobbit hole. Yeah, before
realizing what that could do to a season. Why didn't
we buy into Green Bay as much as we did?
One back to back MVP? Yes, haven't they been the

(37:39):
back to back NFC Championship games? Yeah, but it was
like they were blocking on the door. They've been consistently good.
The fact that Aaron Rodgers went back had everyone thinking that, Okay,
Aaron came back, They're going to be pretty good. I'm
almost positive. But I was going to say Philly and
the NFC title given, you guys talk me out of it. Yeah,
And I don't think we were very high on the

(38:00):
NFC going into this season either, for good reasons. They
were great the year before, correct, all right, that's why
which the NFC East ended up being the best division,
which is wooden. Again, I don't think anyone would have
predicted that. What I think the division we thought would
be the best was the NFC West, which ended up
being drastically different than what it was. So, yes, that's disappointing.

(38:24):
In fact, your bold prediction, Brady, was that that all
four teams in AFC West could make the playoffs. The
what else we're bold say, Agan, what NFC? Yeah, No,
the O was the AFC West. Yeah, we were referencing
the NFC West, right right right, Yeah, the AFC West.

(38:47):
They remember they had odds out before the year and
it was like sixteen to one that every team from
the AFC West is going to go to the playoffs.
And it took one week and for everybody to get
a glimpse at Russell Wilson and Nathaniel Hackett and New Yeah,
he don't think then it took us. Then it took
two more weeks to figure out the Raiders. New you

(39:08):
just change our minds on this one. What a mess?
Whoops we predicted what? Yeah, not a great look. It's unfortunate,
shod Us. You were good though, Jonnas, Thank you you.
